Krogan had just tossed the power deleter bullet, which struck Trapster's leg. However, Scarlett had warned them about it just a few moments ago, and he was ready for it.

'Thanks for the warning, Scarlett; now I won't hesitate,' he said as he drew his knife and then plummeted towards his leg. 'I'll be rational and do what I must!'

With one good cut, he was able to cut off his leg before the bullet could spread throughout the rest of his body. Unfortunately, this made it difficult for him to keep his eyes open, which Krogan took advantage of.

'A clean cut; you are quite the badass Trapster,' said Krogan, rather impressed. 'But for a second there, you were distracted.'

Krogan then unleashed a powerful shockwave that blew everyone back, and he quickly jumped towards Trapster. Night Fury quickly fired his cables towards him as quickly as he could.

'This is where it ends!' Krogan yelled as he swiped his hand towards Trapster.

Night Fury's cable wrapped around his body, and he quickly pulled him back, but not before he scratched Trapster's face. Then, suddenly, a giant burst of ice erupted, pushing him away.

"Is he okay?" Glacier asked.

Krogan looked down at him. 'The kid had been following them earlier.'

Krogan then placed his hand on the eyes and began to disintegrate, but then he was suddenly struck by Night Fury, knocking him away. He quickly rushed forward and grabbed Trapster and the others, carrying them safely.

"Please, sir, stay alive!" Night Fury begged.

"What, you plan to stop me now?" Krogan asked. "Fight all you want; you're just delaying the inevitable."

Meanwhile, the others were still evacuating the citizens.

"Hiccup and Snotlout aren't responding," said Speedy. "And now I can't reach Ranger; he said he would bring them back. What in the world is going on out there?"

"This isn't good," said Windshear. "I wonder if someone's power is causing a communications blackout on the battlefield."

"Maybe we should go after them just in case," Valkyrie suggested.

"Whoa, are you seeing the news?"

"This country is falling apart."

Speedy then approached the two men on their phones. "May I listen?"

"Yeah, sure, one sack."

He put his phone on speaker, and they could hear the news report coming from it.

"If you're in one of these areas, you must evacuate immediately," said the reporter. "I repeat, a giant villain is currently moving north in California. His destination appears to be Los Angeles, the predicted path of his rampage taken through…"

The reporter began naming a few towns and villages, and there were so many of them.

"That so many civilians," said Speedy.

"Almost every hero in the United States is on this mission. There's no one left to stop him," said Valkyrie.

Giganton was charging in a straight line as the crow flies and destroyed anything that got in his way. This was rather unfortunate for the civilians, who were doing their routine on a normal day. He charged through city after city as he made his way to Los Angeles.

The work-study students were the only ones left standing at the mountain range, and they just stared at the destruction.

"Magnus, you see the pros?" Slimeman asked.

"No," he said. "We're too far away."

"It's likely that some of them are injured or worse," said Battle Fist.

"Ragnar… you better be okay," said Slimeman.

Sprite was currently at the first-aid station, which had been completely destroyed. He was still alive and was doing his best to tend to the injured, including Hawks.

When Giganton went on a rampage, record to be flown in different directions, some of it landed at the first-aid station. He grabbed what he could and managed to get them to safety, but he had no idea what could have caused such devastation.

"What caused that?" he asked.

Graviton clenched his fist. 'I can't believe it… we had little time, but we prepared meticulously. Dogsbreath had managed to administer a dose near the real reason we're here right now… the reason we even alive is that they didn't consider us to be actual threats… just insects.'

When Giganton started to go on his rampage, Majestic used his powers to pull the work-study students to safety.

"Majestic, you're here!" said Graviton.

"You did the right thing today, hear kids; your decisions were sound," he said as he pushed them away. "No matter what happens now, you should be proud of that fact!"

He said as far away as he could but then was attacked by Giganton.

"Hey…" said Fungi, "why hasn't the giant fallen asleep?"

"Does this mean it didn't work?" said Battle Fist.

"Are we sure that Majestic was right about us?" Grape Juice asked. "Should we have tried something else and the other heroes in the big raid? Is this mission something they should have done? This is… this is like really bad. Do you think we were doomed to fail from the very beginning?"

Back in Los Angeles, Loudspeaker had just given the Doctor over to the police, but he refused to remain quiet.

"Ah, a delightful development," he laughed. "You had us at the hospital; it was quite the impressive show. Please allow me to commend your splendid display of force, but your fate has been sealed. Krogan is awake, and the tables are forever turned against you. Giganton is a calamity who lives and dies only for his master.

"In fact, my Red Deaths soldiers were modelled after him. A king needs pawns, of course, a powerful army. Now that Giganton is on the move, this world will see true horror in the end. The end is near, and Krogan will destroy this heroes' saturated society!"

Krogan just stood there. He was battered and bruised, but with Trapster unconscious, he can now use all his powers simultaneously.

Night Fury was finding it very difficult to control his rage, and Hellfire was seriously overheating. Glacier then created a large chunk of ice for him, instantly calling him down.

"Glacier?" said Hellfire, shocked.

"It took me a while because I stopped to help Scarlett," he informed him. "You cool off; the ice should help you rally."

Hookfang was annoyed that he allowed Krogan to shoot past him.

Rock Lock and Manual were quickly tending to Trapster.

"Elevate his leg," said Manual as he tried to undo his scarf. "I can use this to close the wound back and untangle it. Damnit, where's the end?"

"Night Fury," said Rock Lock, was horrified to see the angry look on his face. "Run."

"Not a chance," he said through gritted teeth.

"That's better," Krogan smiled and slowly placed his hands towards the ground. "Now die!"

However, before he could touch the ground, a massive rip appeared across his chest.

Night Fury noticed this. 'Look at him…'

Krogan was confused as he suddenly felt giddy. 'What's happening? I don't understand. I couldn't use my powers, so, of course, my body suffered as I pushed past my physical limits. But now my recovery to the powers should be working full force again. So how the hell do I have injuries?'

A horrible thought then came to mind. "Hold on, what is today's date?"

When he woke up, they asked how long he had been recuperating. He was so busy fighting against the heroes that it raised a few questions about why the heroes appeared just as he regained consciousness.

'It has been for four months yet?' he said.

"His body…" said Night Fury as he saw the massive wound suddenly approaching him, "isn't healing?"

He then remembered what both his mother and Ford had said earlier. 'Both Mom and Forge said that Drago's roster of stolen powers was transplanted into Krogan. If that's the case, all those powers would be too much for someone to handle; I can barely handle my super strength. That means his body is not strong enough to handle all that raw power.'

Krogan came to the same conclusion as he looked at his beaten hands. 'Whatever, so I'm not regenerating instantly.' He then outspread his hand and swung towards the ground. "I'll just rely upon my disintegration power!"

Suddenly, there was a massive force of wind pressure, and Krogan found himself floating in the air with Night Fury's cable wrapped around his chest. Night Fury quickly launched into the air and wrapped his cables around him, pulling him along with him before he had a chance to touch the ground.

'If Krogan touches the ground, he could cause another wave of mass destruction,' said Night Fury as he flew straight towards him. "I'll stop you up here in the air! Using all the strength I've got! I refuse to allow you to escape from here." He then quickly looked down at the others on the ground. "Take care of the injured!"

Hellfire looked at Glacier. "Glacier, you help out with triage."

"I'm on it," he nodded.

Hellfire looked back up at Night Fury. "This is pathetic; the number one hero should be fighting him, not this kid."

"That boy is just as energetic as his mother and as stubborn as his father," Forge grumbled.

"You moron!" Hookfang yelled. "You should be getting far away from that guy while you can! We can't bank on Trapster anymore!"

"And who else is still able to fight and face up in the air?" Night Fury yelled back.

"You like it up here so much?" Krogan smirked. "Then, after I steal your power, I'll send your ass all the way up to Valhalla, and the rest of your little friends won't be far behind."

"You won't lay a finger on my friends!" Night Fury roared and then pulled him towards him. "You heard them enough!"

Hookfang looked on, frustrated, as Night Fury kept striking Krogan at full power.

'I'm punching him in a hundred percent, and he's still smiling,' Night Fury glared. 'Although his body is not healing as fast as it was. He is taking damage.'

He then pulled in Krogan once more and used his technopathic to use his arm to support his broken arms.

'My left arm is a mess after the two full power shots I got in, but I can't worry about that now. I have to defeat Krogan here and now regardless of the consequences, even if it destroys my body.'

He then slammed a full-powered fist using his right arm, this time against Krogan. He remembered the doctor's warning after the attack at the training camp. He told him his arms would be beyond repair if he kept using such power repeatedly.

'Three hits one after the other!' said Night Fury, pulling Krogan in again before he had a chance to recover and striking him.

He then quickly took to the air and began slamming down a quick succession of fists. Krogan quickly blocked the attack but could still feel the damage running through his body.

'I'm getting her faster than I can heal,' he said. 'He'll beat me if I don't focus on defence.'

Night Fury then dealt a powerful kick, sending him flying, but pulled him back with his cables.

'If the heroes hadn't put three past my limited earlier…' Krogan caressed. '…no. Even if my body wasn't complete… this boy… this power.' He then quickly raised his hand, preparing to file a shockwave. "You are holding me back from my dream!"

"That's exactly why I'm here!" Night Fury yelled quickly, moving in before he could fire.

He quickly knocked his hand away and then dealt a powerful fist that sent a massive shockwave across the area. Night Fury winced as he started to feel the pain causing him, but he had to push through until Krogan was down for the count.

Krogan realised that he was in trouble. 'What do I have… what power can stop him? Come on!'

Down on the ground, everyone could see the battle raged on in midair.

"He's seriously just a student?" Manual stared.

"Don't forget he is the son of Skullcrusher and Teachnora," said Forge, though he looked deeply troubled by the spectacle. "Though he is pushing himself too far."

"He's right; if he keeps this up, he's dead," said Hookfang.

"Huh?" Manual stared.

"He's using his Technopathic powers to keep them aloft and to reinforce his body while also launching devastating attacks. Using every single skill he's ever learned. He is hellbent on keeping Krogan from touching the ground again, but his power attacks didn't stop the bastard."

"Right now, it's a battle of endurance," said Forge. "Hiccup's body is busted won't last much longer, especially against someone who is able to regenerate. If nothing is done soon, his power will be stolen, and there will be nothing but dust."

Hookfang quickly turned to Glacier. "Ranger, you done with the first aid?"

"Yes, what do you need?" Glacier asked.

Hookfang looked at Forge. "Think you can give them a lift?"

"What for?" Forge asked.

Hookfang then turned to Hellfire. "Dad, save your strength and let me guess you into the air." He then turned to Glacier. "You, hold on to Forge and keep my old man cool. We're going to need him if we want to pull this off."

"You want me to use maximum firepower to end this fight with a single blast," said Hellfire as he rose to his feet. "I can do that."

"They're just children!" Rock Lock yelled.

"You take things down here," said Glacier.

Forge grabbed hold of him, placing a hand on Hellfire's back while Hookfang carried him.

'No, I can't think of them that way,' said Rock Lock, looking at them. 'After all, I recognised Night Fury as a hero a long time ago.'

He then nodded at them as he grasped Trapster. "You got it. Leave him to me."

Hookfang then unleashed a powerful burst of flames, launching him into the air, and Forge fired off his jet boost on his prosthetic leg. As they flew up into the air, Glacier used powers to cool down Hellfire as much as possible.

"The moment that Night Fury's cable is fully stretched out, once in range, all of you beat it quickly," Hellfire ordered. "The blast is deadly."

'Hang in there, Hiccup,' said Ranger.

Hookfang gritted his teeth. He was partly responsible for his uncle's retirement and was not to do the same thing with his cousin. You remember all the times he bullied Hiccup, but no matter how many times he beat him down, he always seemed to get back up and shrug it off. That spirit is what was going to help them win this fight, but Hiccup couldn't do this alone, and he shouldn't.

They watched as Night Fury continued battling with Krogan, who was falling backwards.

"Now!" Hookfang yelled and tossed his father over his shoulders with all his strength.

Night Fury was already moving in for another blow when Hellfire suddenly wrapped his arms and legs around Krogan.

"What?" Night Fury stared.

"Back Night Fury!" Hellfire ordered.

"You!" Krogan glared.

Hellfire then unleashed all the power he had in one go, creating what seemed like a miniature sun. Krogan was screaming in anguish as every single part of his body was being scorched by these intense flames.

'Krogan,' said Drago's voice and Krogan pictured the hand reaching out to him, 'lend me your body.'

Then, Hellfire suddenly found himself pierced by red spikes that shot out of Krogan's back.

"Hellfire!" Hookfang and Glacier yelled.

"Why won't you die?" Hellfire choked.

"Skullcrusher's legacy," said Krogan as he reached out to Night Fury, but it sounded like two voices were speaking simultaneously.

Sprite suddenly shot out of Krogan's body and began extending towards Night Fury. Then, suddenly, he was pushed out of the way by Forge, who took the full brunt of the attack.

Night Fury looked at him in horror. "Gobber!"
