AN: Alright guys, by the time you get this I'm already back from vacation and ready to show you guys what a recharged mind can do so here's your preview of my version of Kamen Rider…Amazons! So now Showtime!

Date a Amazons Chapter 1: Amazons
It was nighttime and the sky was foggy mixed in with ongoing rainfall as people were minding their own business but unknown to most, normal was a long way off. In a nearby alleyway, one can hear the sound of someone or something eating.
What was eating was a spider-like creature that had the same size of a human body including arms and legs with black and white fur. And as expected of a spider, it had four spider legs on its back.
The creature was surrounded by webs handing around. Some of which held human limbs. Right now, the spider-like creature was eating what appears to be a prostitute but she was missing limbs, blood was splattered all over her, and her intestines were showing. The creature was enjoying his meal until…
"Yo!" A young male voice called out.
The creature turned and saw a young male teen with blue eyes and black hair with red streaks. He wore a simple white shirt under a gray hoodie with jeans and black combat boots. And in his right hand was a raw egg and in his left was a belt. The belt was black with the front faceplate being gold and had two green lenses on it. Underneath the faceplate were two rotatable handles.
"I'm not sure if you want to eat that." The teen said, pointing at the corpse. "Who knows what kind of diseases are there in that? I know you're an Amazon but no telling if you can get a stomach ache from that." He joked as he cracked the egg on his belt and drank its contents. He swallowed as he placed on his belt.
The Spider Amazon ignored him as he just charged, seeing a new source of food. The young man then twisted the left handle on his belt, causing the green lenses to glow brightly.
"ALPHA!"
"…Amazon." The teen said as he smiled.
"ROAMING THE WILD! W-W-W-WILD!"
When the Spider Amazon was close enough to eat the teen, the young man exploded into red misty energy, making the Spider Amazon fly back and skid against the hard ground. The energy mist soon faded, showing an armored figure.
He was in a full red armored bodysuit with green stripes that acted like scars, a silver chestplate that mimicked muscles with scars on them. He wore black armored gauntlets and matching boots with razor sharp fins on them, along with another on that he has on his back. His helmet resembled a lizard with green eyes, a silver horn that has a yellow gem, and the helmet also had a mouth. This was Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha.
The Spider Amazon got up and noticed Alpha before growling, ready to strike back at him. Alpha said nothing as he got into a combat position.
"Come at me." Alpha taunted.
(Play Armour Zone by Kobayashi Taro)
[(You!) Omae wa dare da! Ore no naka no ore. Kage ni kakureta sono sugata misero! Souzou no derivation.] Daigo and Shido stood across from each other but they weren't looking at each other but their unconscious loved ones on the ground at the males' feet. At Shido's feet, it was Tohka while at Daigo's, it was Rinne.
[Fureru karada akaku kirikazami. Kokoro wa doko da? Get up me sagashite mo.] The two guys, seemingly impatient, grabbed their respective girls by the arms and shook them until they woke up. When they did, they stared at them right in the eye.
[Shinzou ga hotobashiru dake, Hey-hey…believe in AMAZON!] Soon their Amazon instincts kicked in and the two males soon started to eat their girls by starting with their neck. Both Tohka and Rinne were shocked but allowed it to happen, even when blood ran down their arms. Shido and Daigo soon wiped the blood off their lips before they continued to eat them but as Omega and Alpha. When they were satisfied, the two Amazon Riders pushed the girls away, causing them to disappear.
[Kaze o kire koe wa karashite. Kemono ga warau kono machi de.] Soon the screen showed several things Omega and Alpha were doing such as Omega driving his bike, Alpha killing an Amazon by tearing out its heart, etc. The screen then showed Alpha and Omega walking in opposite directions before stopping and looking back to see each other.
[Kuu ka kuwareru ka no sadame oh yeah! Hora kanashimi no aji wa nodomoto.] The Amazon instincts started to act up once again as the two Riders now saw each other as enemies. Omega growled before roaring and adopting a beast-like combat stance and Alpha adopted a more controlled and poised combat stance, showing the difference between them.
[Tsumadatenagara kieru destiny. Ikiru tame ni nani wo kurau] The two jumped, performing a Violent Slash attack as they charged for each other before they passed each other and landed on the ground. Just then blood spurted out of the side of Alpha's neck, revealing a wound created by Omega's Violent Punish. Alpha tried to reach out for him before dying. The same happened to Omega as Alpha's attack caused the same fatal wound that killed the latter.
[Always uragire (How do we survive!?)] Omega struggled to stand before falling down dead like Alpha. The screen then turned black before showing the title.
Alpha easily dodged the Spider Amazons attacked before punching a few times and kicking the spider creature away. The Spider Amazon stumbled a bit before shooting webbing at Alpha. Alpha was running away from the web shots.
"You're not a good shot, are you?" Alpha mocked as he then noticed a couple of trash cans nearby. He then came up with an idea. "Oh this could be good."
Alpha took one of the lids and used it as a shield. He blocked a few webshots and looked at how effective the makeshift shield was.
"You a Marvel fan? Because we're making a great scene right here regarding Civil War." Alpha said, remembering his last movie date. His memory was interrupted when he was forced to block another webshot. "Never saw the movie? Gotcha, too bad you won't see it."
Alpha then charged while shielding himself. When he was close enough, he stuck the lid on the Spider Amazon's face. It tried getting the lid off but the webbing on it made it really difficult.
"You definitely don't have that Spider Sense." Alpha remarked as he twisted one of the handlebars on his belt.
"VIOLENT SLASH!"
Alpha then leaped towards the Spider Amazon and used his arm spikes to cut a very deep wound across the Amazon's waist. When Alpha landed on the ground, the Spider Amazon stumbled a bit before his upper half fell off with his legs following suit after.
The creature then dissolved into black goop, leaving behind a silver armlet with red glowing eyes. Alpha walked towards the puddle of black goop and picked up the armlet.
"Souvenir." Alpha remarked before approaching a nearby motorcycle and getting a phone from one of the saddle bags. He then dialed a number before…
"Hello? Daigo, is that you?" A female voice asked.
"Hey Rin, do we have any more room for souvenirs?" Alpha asked as he looked at the armlet.
"Definitely no, you need to empty that chest." Rinne remarked, making Alpha slightly groan underneath his helmet.
"Damn…too bad." Alpha said before throwing the armlet down to the ground and stomping it, crushing it to pieces. He didn't want to leave anything behind if the authorities came. Alpha then took his belt off, reverting back to Daigo.
"Now get home. You're missing dinner!"
"Who's cooking?" Alpha asked as he held his stomach, feeling it roar a bit. He would've eaten another egg but unfortunately he just had his last one.
"My mom and I."
"Yes! I'll be right there!" Daigo said in an enthusiastic tone as he placed the phone in his pocket and the Amazons Driver in the saddle bag. He placed his helmet on with a cheeky smile underneath the visor before driving off. His stomach just couldn't wait to get some food.
As he was driving, he was thinking about recent events such as the enormous Spacequake which struck in Eurasia, killing 150 million people 30 years ago and the release of 4000 Amazons two years ago, humanoid animal-like creatures that strive to hunt, kill, and consume humans. Only the latter concerned Daigo as he had a personal vendetta against these monsters and kill them in the name of humanity, even if it meant becoming one himself. But right then, he prioritized other things on his mind; like an exciting dinner with his girlfriend and her parents.
(The next morning at Itsuka residence)
A young man was groaning in bed as a young girl with long red hair, tied in twintails with white ribbons, started dancing on him.
"Kotori, my adorable little sister…" The young man started as he was trying not to sound grumpy from being waken up in such a rude manner.
"What's wrong, my darling Oniichan?" Kotori asked in a cute voice as she then stopped.
"Get off of me! You're heavy!" He protested as his sister just jumped in the air and landed an aerial kick on her brother's stomach. "Gouf!" He got out as he felt the full pain of that while Kotori laughed.
"You just said, 'Gouf'!" Kotori remarked. "That's a mobile suit!" She said as she lifted her leg off him while the blue-haired boy just tried to go back to sleep. "Hey! Why are you going back to sleep!?"
Kotori then got down and tried to pull the blanket off.
"Wake up! Wake up, Oniichan!" The young man was obviously resisting. "Wake up!"
"Run for it, Kotori…" The teen said, getting his sister's attention.
"Huh?"
"I've got the 'If you don't let me sleep for at least another 10 minutes, I will tickle my little sister uncontrollably' virus. Also known as the T-virus." He warned, immediately scaring the redhead.
"W-What?"
"Run, Kotori…while I can still control myself!"
"B-But…what'll happen to you!?" His sister asked in a very concerned voice.
"As long as you're safe…that's all that matters to me. Run…now…" He insisted but Kotori was still not leaving her brother behind.
"N-No, I can't! I won't leave you!" Kotori said before the young man showed his face with a look that immediately frightened her.
"Grragh!" He roared and that immediately scared Kotori up to the point where she got off the bed and ran for her dear life. The boy, now identified as Shido, turned his expression back to normal. "Good grief…" He stated as he then looked out the window. It looked like a relative peaceful day as the sun was out and the sky was blue with clouds adorning it.
He soon got out of bed and started his whole morning routine as he freshened up and changed into his school's uniform. Before going downstairs, he felt as if he's forgetting something. He then noticed on his desk, a few syringes filled with medicine. It was prescription medicine for as long as he remembered. He doesn't completely remembered what they were for but he always assumed it was something minor like headaches or small diseases. But he always felt a little weird before taking them along with a minor migrane.
Shido was about to use one before hearing Kotori whimper from the "T-virus". This alone made Shido stop as he then smiled. He decided to play with this for a little while. He went down to see Kotori hiding behind a makeshit cover, with the table.
"I'm so scared! The T-virus is going to get me!" Kotori said as she was still scared out of her mind. This stirred up whatever playful evil is left in the blue haired boy as he then got down and stealthily got behind the couch before suddenly popping out and roaring at Kotori with his hands aimed at her.
Obviously this caused her to scream and panic as she ran into the wall. She turned and looked around, looking for an exit strategy while Shido just smiled.
"You can relax, I'm back to normal." Shido assured, but Kotori still seemed nervous.
"O-Oniichan?"
"I'm a very good friend to you. Yes, I, Kotori's older brother." Shido replied, allowing her sister to revert from terrified and crying to bubbly and cheerful.
She then laughed about it and after a little while, Shido started cooking breakfast while Kotori was watching the news with a lollipop in her mouth.
"A small Spacequake was recorded early this morning near Tengu City." The news reporter informed. "There was only slight damage with no casualties among the residents in the area. Investigations are ongoing in learning the cause of the Spacequakes."
Shido didn't look back as he was busy cooking.
"Another? And it sounds like it was nearby…" Shido remarked while Kotori nodded.
"Yeah…"
Spacequakes were a wide spread vibration phenomena. No one knew where they came from or how they occur, they just happen when an area randomly starts vibrating before leaving massive damage in its wake. After the big one at Eurasia, other quakes kept happening around the world for 6 months. For example, the Great Southern Kanto Spacequake completely flattened the area 25 years ago with the whole area destroyed. They started reappearing 20 years after, starting in Tengu City. Soon Japan started becoming a nest for the Spacequakes.
Soon Shido finished up breakfast before looking back at Kotori.
"Hey, don't you think there have a lot lately?" Shido asked and Kotori nodded.
"Yeah…" Kotori answered as she appeared to be thinking about something else. Shido then went to Kotori and immediately looked annoyed when he saw the lollipop in her mouth. It wasn't healthy especially around this time of day.
"No sweets before a meal!" Shido said as he tried to pull the lollipop out of the redhead's mouth but she resisted. After a little while and no luck, Shido gave up and just looked at Kotori with a blank stare. "Just be sure you eat your breakfast, okay?"
"Okay~!" Kotori replied, feeling victorious. "Love you, Oniichan!"
After she finished her lollipop, the two siblings were now eating breakfast. Shido looked at the calendar to remind himself of the date which was April 10 and it was written "The Opening Ceremony!" under the date.
As he was eating, he was thinking about the recent dreams he had. Shido couldn't exactly remember them, he could only remember a creature covered by shadows chained up while trying to escape a prison cell. Shido then shook his head, not wanting to think about it especially during breakfast.
He soon looked at Kotori as he decided to get back with his life.
"So anything you want for lunch?" Shido asked as Kotori looked excited, knowing what she already wants.
"Deluxe Kids Plate!" She cheered while Shido gave a blank stare.
"That's something from a diner menu. We don't have it at this restaurant." Shido emphasized, preferring to stay in for lunch.
"C'mon, please? Please? Pretty please with a cherry on top? Please, Oniichan?" Kotori begged as her hands were put together. Shido sighed with an annoyed expression before biting into his toast.
"Fine." He said and Kotori looked cheerful before she ate the rest of her breakfast. After breakfast was done, the two siblings left the house. Shido stopped as then remembered that he didn't take his medicine. However, he looked at the time to see that he would be late to school if he went back to inject himself so he just presumed following Kotori. Where's the harm in missing just one day?
(Later in Tengu City)
"Deluxe Kids Plate~! Deluxe Kids Plate~! Gonna eat lunch at a diner!" Kotori cheered, still feeling victorious.
"Don't get excited, it's just a diner." Shido said, trying to calm her down but she just wouldn't. Kotori has a lot of energy and is using it at no expense which made Shido regret ever agreeing to this.
"Oh guys, morning!" A female voice said.
The Itsuka siblings turned to see a girl in a school uniform and motorcycle helmet sitting passenger on a motorcycle. She took off her helmet, revealing her short light pink hair that has a part of it tied up in a braid and light brown eyes. Her name is Rinne Sonogami.
Rinne then looked at the driver.
"You can drop me off here, Daigo." Rinne said and Daigo looked at her.
"You sure?"
"I'll be fine." Rinne assured as she got off the bike to join her two friends she knew since childhood. Shido and Kotori looked at Daigo, who lifted his helmet visor.
"So this is the boyfriend you talked about?" Shido asked as he remembered Rinne talking to them about a boyfriend she got around 2 years ago but this is their first time seeing him.
"Yeah, sorry about that." Daigo said as he rubbed the back of his helmet. "I've been busy with a whole bunch of other things. Such as finding a way to pay rent to her dad."
Daigo then looked at Shido as he felt something a little off about him. He just waved it off as he decided to do some part-time work to pay off his rent to Mr. Sonogami.
"You don't go to school?" Shido asked as he noticed that Daigo was around his age.
"No, I'm a dropout." Daigo answered honestly and that didn't bother him. He couldn't get far due to him being an Amazon. Plus, it was best that he wouldn't be near a whole bunch of people in case something goes wrong with his Amazon instincts.
Shido looked at Rinne.
"And that's okay with you?" Shido asked as he didn't expect Rinne to date someone like that.
Rinne nodded.
"He's a nice guy when you get to know him." Rinne explained before noticing Daigo on his phone. "Is something wrong?"
"Nah, just the usual." Daigo waved off with a cheery expression on his face. Seeing that there wasn't much else to be said, Rinne gave Daigo a brief kiss before they separated. "I'll pick you up after school. Later."
Daigo then drove off but he had one last look at Shido before paying attention on the road. Kotori soon looked at Rinne.
"He seems nice." Kotori remarked before looking at her brother, wanting to put the original subject back. "Let's meet up here later when you're out of school, Oniichan."
"Alright." Shido replied while Kotori seemed adamant about this.
"Make sure you don't break your promise! We'll eat here even if it is taken over by terrorists."
Both Shido and Rinne sweatdropped at this before Shido patted Kotori's head.
"Don't worry, I'll be there. Just be careful on your way to school." He said with a smile.
"Yeah, it's almost time for classes. Don't wanna get into trouble now, do you?" Rinne asked and Kotori shook her head at that.
The redhead soon took off and looked back at her sibling and childhood friend before waving goodbye.
"Don't forget! Make sure you keep your promise!" Kotori waved. "You have to come, even if there is Spacequake!" Kotori emphasized while Shido just sighed.
"Alright, I get it already! Just head to school!" Shido exclaimed, feeling worn down by this.
Kotori that left before Shido and Rinne looked at each other.
"Come on, we should go too before we're late for class." Rinne said and Shido nodded.
Shido then felt something off before looking around, catching Rinne's attention.
"Is something wrong?" She asked while Shido continued looking around.
"Nothing…" Shido lied as he had the vague feeling of being watched but he was forced to wave it off before leaving with Rinne to school.
Unknown to the two, a girl with white hair and blue eyes was watching from not far.
(Later at Raizen High School)
Shido was doing what would be considered as a normal day of school. He was in his seat in class before his friend, Hiroto Tonomachi, came to him with a friendly smile.
"What a coincidence, Itsuka. To think that we've been put in the same class again." Hiroto mused. "I, Hiroto Tonomachi, feel like this is fate."
"That so? Why am I not surprised?" Shido jokingly asked.
Before Hiroto can respond, he heard his phone make a sound and immediately checked on it.
"Oh, sorry, it's my girlfriend." Hiroto explained, surprising Shido since he doesn't remember any notable relationships regarding his friend.
"A girlfriend? Since when?" Shido asked, being a little skeptical.
"Let me introduce you. Here." Hiroto said as he then showed Shido his phone screen. Shido sweatdropped once again as he just saw a virtual girl with even a title underneath.
"This is just a stupid dating sim!" Shido said but Hiroto still seemed adamant about it.
"This is my girlfriend. Don't be prejudiced!" He said, being a little offended. "A dating sim is filled with everything you need to know about how to act toward women."
'That's really offensive and dumb…' Shido thought as he was no ignoring everything single praise that was coming from his friend. Women are much harder to read than that. People shouldn't depend on stupid little things like a dating sim to learn more about how to fall in love.
"Shido Itsuka…" An unfamiliar female voice said and Shido turned to see the white-haired blue-eyed girl that was spying on him, Rinne, and Kotori this morning.
"Excuse me, but do I know you?" Shido asked with a confused tone while the girl just has a blank expression.
"You don't remember?"
Shido shook his head, not recognizing the girl from anywhere.
"I see." The girl the calmly took the desk next to Shido while the blue-haired teen looked at Hiroto.
"Who's that?" Shido asked as he was partly hoping that a name would jog his memory.
"You don't recognize Origami "Super Genius" Tobiichi?" Hiroto asked in slight disbelief. The name didn't help Shido's memory but he was now curious about her and Hiroto can see that so he decided to go more into detail. "She's always at the top of her class. She's good at sports and she's beautiful." Hiroto said, emphasizing the last part.
Still not helping his memory as Shido watched her take a book out and started reading it.
"She's never dropped out of the top three of my, 'Girls I'd want for a girlfriend' list." Hiroto remarked, making Shido roll his eyes at that. "I honestly can't believe you don't know the most famous person in school." He remarked. "But how come she knows you?"
"That's what I want to know." Shido remarked before they noticed the teacher came in.
Everyone took their seats as they were prepared for class. In came in a woman with short brown hair and a childish face that looks like it belongs to someone in their late teens or early 20s.
"Oh it's Tammie!" A student recognized.
"Hello everyone! My name is Tamae Okamine and I'll be your homeroom teacher this year." She said getting an applause from everyone.
(Later)
The school day was now ending and everyone was getting ready to go home. Shido, Rinne, and Hiroto were talking to each other.
"Hey Itsuka, Sonogami, let's go home together." Hiroto proposed but the two turned him down.
"Sorry, I've already got plans." Shido responded.
"Same." Rinne added.
Hiroto then raised an eyebrow with a sly smile.
"Oh, are you and Sonogami going out?" Hiroto asked, making Shido and Rinne annoyed. He didn't know about Daigo and given that the two were childhood friends, they couldn't exactly fault him.
"No, I have a boyfriend. And unlike your girlfriend, he's real." Rinne replied as she looked out the window and started wondering what Daigo was doing.
Just then sirens started going off throughout the city.
"A Spacequake has been detected in the area. This is not a drill. Please evacuate to the nearest shelter immediately. I repeat." The alarms announced as Shido noticed Origami get up and leave the room.
As he wondered about that, he was also wondering about his sister. Rinne looked worried as she checked her phone.
(With Daigo)
The young Amazon was feeding chickens on a rooftop before hearing the sirens and repeated message. He soon felt his phone vibrate and checked to find a message from Rinne.
"'Stay safe'." Daigo read but he didn't seemed faze at all by the threat of a Spacequake.
He then noticed something else on his phone and smiled upon checked what it is. Daigo then dropped his chicken feed and left with his belt before driving his bike out to the city.
(With Shido)
The students were lined up to enter the school shelter while Tamae was telling them not to panic…despite her panicking herself.
'I hope Kotori is evacuating safely.' Shido thought as he checked his phone before trying to call her. 'I hope she isn't still trying to keep her promise. I hope she's not waiting in front of that diner.'
While his mind kept thinking about her, Shido checked up on the GPS locator app to see where his sister was. He found her and she was at…the diner. He gritted his teeth as he imagined her scared out of her mind.
Without even thinking, Shido turned and ran out of the shelter while getting Hiroto and Rinne's attention.
"Itsuka, where are you going!?" Hiroto asked but Shido ignored him as he ran outside the school.
As he was now outside school grounds, he felt his chest hurt a little. He gripped his heart a little before sweating a bit. This might've been why the medicine was needed, to ease aches like this. But Shido was determined to find Kotori and bring her to a shelter so he kept running into the city.
(Inside Shido)
The creature that Shido dreamt off was still chained up in its cell and was depleted of energy. However, it started feeling stronger for some reason as it managed to stand up on its two legs. The chains prevented any more movement but it didn't bother the creature.
It growled as it tugged the chains a bit to see that they were still strong. It didn't make any difference as the creature was set on being free. It just needed to wait to gain enough energy to do so.
(With Shido)
Shido kept running as he held his heart. He was too focused on finding his sister instead of his well-being.
"I love you, Oniichan!" Kotori's words rang throughout his head.
'Why!? Why is she staying behind even though the city is being destroyed!?' Shido wondered as he still felt pain. Its intensity was increasing gradually, making it too hard to ignore. Soon a shockwave hits Shido as the energy blew him away.
After a little while, Shido opened his eyes and saw a few of the building scorched but the flames were purple, not a normal color for fire. As he was getting up, he started sweating as the pain was turning into something fierce. Ignoring it, Shido then noticed a crater nearby and approached it while he still clutched his heart.
When he managed to get a closer look, he noticed a figure in purple aura in the center of the crater. She looked like a princess with a purple dress-armor hybrid that was befitting of one. Her long purple hair with matching purple eyes adorned with white pupils. The girl noticed him as Shido was now taking deep breaths.
'What is this girl doing here?' Shido wondered, trying to distract himself from the pain. Soon the girl pulled out a very intimidating broadsword. She then hit the ground with it, sending a purple energy wave towards Shido. It barely missed him and decimated a building in its place.
"You too?" She asked as the girl appeared face to face with Shido. Shido looked at her to see the broadsword pointed at his face. Obviously, this intimidated him and the pain in his body did not help at all. "Are you here to kill me too?"
"I-ARRGH!" Shido got out as he was on his knees, his feet too weak to even stand. The girl just kept her guard up.
"You're here to kill me too, right?" She asked. "If that's the case, I should deal with you first."
"W-Wait!" Shido said, trying to use what strength he has left to protest.
"What?"
"I-I couldn't kill anyone…" Shido protested as the girl was a bit surprised. "B-Besides…what about you?"
Before the girl can answer, she felt a presence and looked towards the sky. Shido looked as well before the two saw missiles being launched at them from girls in hi-tech armors. Despite looking downright ridiculous, Shido panicked while the girl still looked unhinged as she lifted her free hand hand before opening her palm. This summoned an energy shield while the girl had a sad look.
"Why won't they realize the futility of their attacks?" She asked sadly before she shut her palm, causing the missiles to crumple up and explode. The armored girls soon launched more missiles and the purple girl jumped and used her sword to cut them down, causing multiple explosions.
Unknown to them, Daigo was watching from not far on his bike and eating eggs. He groaned a little.
"Another dud." Daigo remarked as he was hoping to fight an Amazon but instead he sees this. But he had to admit, it looked like good entertainment. "This looks like something out of my Japanese animes."
Meanwhile, the purple girl sent purple energy waves from her sword. The armored girls dodged them except one was caught in the aftershock. It forced her onto the ground where some of her armor scrapped. She then noticed that on her forearms, a technological armlet was showing with blue eyes. She tried hiding it by adding a makeshift layer over it.
Soon one of the girls flew and aimed her rifle directly at the purple girl's face as soon as she landed on the ground. Upon firing, the purple girl blocked the attack before cutting away pieces of her armor. Upon landing, she dispersed her aerial armor before flipping over the purple girl and landed behind Shido.
"Origami…Tobiichi?" Shido recognized, slightly surprising the girl.
"Shido Itsuka?"
"W-Why are you wearing those clothes?" Shido asked as he gathered the strength to stand up. Soon the purple girl launched another energy wave and Origami flew out of the way while the force threw Shido away.
Origami pulled out a blue energy sword and clashed with the purple girl. This created a massive force which threw Shido and the other girl away while Daigo was still watching. Both Origami and the purple girl flew away from each other. Origami landed next to her comrade before the makeshift layer fell off, revealing the armlet.
The white-haired girl noticed it and also noticed the girl who was wearing it being in deep pain.
"Hina?" Origami asked before the eyes of the armlet went from blue…to red.
Hina just kept screaming in pain before pushing Origami away and the other armored girls landed. They looked at Hina who was screaming her guts out. The purple girl noticed from afar and wondered what was going on as well.
"Hina, are you okay?"
"Should we get you to base?"
Hina did nothing but cry a bit…
"I'm sorry…" The girl cried, confusing her teammates. "I'm so sorry…but I'm one of them…"
"A Spirit like the Princess?" A teammate asked but Hina soon stood up, revealing dark veins on her face.
"Worse…I'm an Anomaly…an Amazon…" Hina revealed, shocking the girls. Anomalies were what they called Amazons since they didn't know their real names. They usually pop up every now and again instead of a Spirit. But they've never saw one transform before and this is their first time hearing the name.
The Princess heard it too and raised her eyebrow.
"Amazon?"
Hine just roared as her Amazon instincts kicked and smoke consumed her body. The armored girls back up as the smoke sent an aftershock which pushed them back a bit. When the smoke faded, it revealed a monster which looked like a greenish black humanoid creature that resembles a dragonfly. It had wings that resembles a cap, big green eyes, and a horn on its forehead. It was also cover in black body armor.
The Dragonfly Amazon roared as it pushed all of the armored girls away. Daigo noticed and didn't change his entertained expression. He just sighed.
"W-What do we do? That thing…that's Hina." One girl asked while Origami looked to see that the Princess has gone while they were all looking at the transformed Hina.
Origami looked around for the Princess before getting picked up by the Dragonfly Amazon and tossed away. The other girls were unsure if they should use their weapons. Origami soon got up and looked at the girls trying to use stun batons on the Dragonfly Amazon but it didn't seem to have much effect, given that they were supposed to be used on civilians who've seen too much.
One of the girls noticed and went to the white-haired girl.
"Ma'm, what do we do?" The younger girl asked with a fearful expression before looking at the fight. "H-Hina is trying to kill us b-but…our non-lethal weapons don't work."
Origami saw that as she saw the Dragonfly Amazon grab a stun baton and broke it half before resuming attack. The Amazon tore a bunch of their equipment while fighting and everyone was running out of ideas. But before Origami can say anything…
HONK!
The girls and Amazon looked while Shido woke up but his eyes were a light tint of red. He got up and was now hyperventilating instead of deep breathing. They all looked and saw Daigo in a ruined car, using the horn that was still working.
They saw him take out his last egg, crack it on his belt, and drank its contents while grossing a couple of the girls there.
"What are you doing!? It's dangerous here! Get to the nearby shelter!" One of the girls advised while Daigo ignored her.
Origami's eyes slightly widened as she recognized him as Rinne's boyfriend when she was spying on Shido earlier today. Daigo then placed his belt on before stopping in front of the group.
"Aren't you girls a bit too young to fight evil?" Daigo asked as he scratched the back of his head. He soon turned the handlebar and the belt activated.
"ALPHA!"
"Amazon."
"ROAMING THE WILD! W-W-W-WILD!"
Daigo transformed into Alpha and the force from his transformation blew the girls back. Alpha stared at the Dragonfly Amazon.
"I had to admit, I thought you look cute but this new image for yourself…two words, sister; Ug-ly." Alpha quipped as he then charged at the Amazon and gave her a mid-air knee to the face. The Dragonfly Amazon stumbled a little while Alpha landed on his feet. "Come on, aren't mecha girls supposed to be good at fighting? Or is that the anime stereotypes talking?"
The Dragonfly Amazon felt irritated at this and continued trying to attack Alpha but the red Amazon kept dodging and counterattacking. The girls saw this and most of them were impressed with his fighting style.
"He's good."
"Sugoi…"
"Is he a Spirit too?"
Origami looked at the girl who asked that and shook her head as she remembered the last word Daigo said before transforming.
"No…he's like Hina: an Amazon."
Meanwhile, Shido was continuing watching them fight before his chest hurt to the extreme as he tried to hold the pain in but couldn't.
Shido clenched his chest with both hands, now being fearful for his life. He was very much fearful for his life.
"W-What is this!? N-No!" Shido said as his voice now sounded more bestial like. He screamed loudly as he felt losing control.
(Inside Shido)
The creature felt enough strength return before standing up and pull on its chains. It roared as it kept pulling and pulling…before the cement that the chain held up to broke apart.
"Rrragh!" The creature roared as it saw that its chains were now no more. It soon started banging on the cell that held him for so long.
Sparks were flying as claw met metal but it seemed to pay off as the cell fell down, freedom now at hand. It roared again in victory before running out.
(Reality)
As Shido was roaring and losing control, his eyes turned a dark red and smoke started to consume his body as he leapt high in the air. Everyone noticed this before the transformed figure landed in front of them. Soon, the smoke faded and it revealed a new figure.
His appearance was that of a green humanoid lizard, his had the appearance of a green lizard with red eyes, and he had a mouth with sharp looking teeth which looked very similar to Alpha's helmet. All over some parts of his body, including his head and back; there were red outlines. His arms and legs had blade-sharp spikes on them. And one his forehead was a yellow horn with a purple gem. This was Amazon Origin.
Origin roared as he felt free for the first time in his life. Origami and the girls aimed at Origin as they were now starting to be wary of the amount of Amazons popping up.
"More Amazons? Just how many of them are there?" One of the girls wondered while Alpha seemed more interested in Origin.
Origin just growled before clenching his stomach, he hasn't eaten in so long. He looked around, trying to determine which prey he wants for a meal. The closest girl he saw was Origami so he leapt at her. Origami saw this and dodged him before trying to swing her energy sword, getting him to back up.
Origin just growled as he was determine to eat. No longer intimidated he charged and jumped onto the girl before she can use her sword. The green Amazon kept beating on her while the other girls watched and didn't know what to do. Alpha just stood there and watched with interest as he scratched the lower part of his helmet. Meanwhile Origin just growled as he got a grip on the arm that was holding the sword.
He twisted the arm, cracking a bone and making Origami drop the sword. Origin opened his jaw and looked like he was about to eat her arm but Alpha grabbed him by the back of the neck and tossed him away from Origami.
"Not sure where you came from but I don't think that's how you greet a girl." Alpha joked as Origin got up and was obviously mad that the red Amazon denied his meal. Origami grabbed her energy sword while the girls helped her up and surrounded the two Amazons.
"Wait…" Origami stated as she noticed that the limping Dragonfly Amazon has an armlet but not Alpha and Origin.
Origin tried attacking Alpha but he easily dodged the attacks before smacking Origin aside. Origin got up but Alpha noticed how sluggish Origin look.
"Wait…looks like someone hasn't taken their daily dosage of proteins." Alpha stated as Origin's hunger weakened the green Amazon up to the point where his legs could no longer support him. He fell down while Alpha just looked down on him. "That isn't good. You're aren't going to last long without eating something."
Alpha then offered his arm and Origin took it…before he started nibbling on it.
"That's right, just get in there." Alpha said before lifting Origin up and punched him in the stomach, knocking him out. Alpha then dropped him on the ground. "Don't take it personal but tickled a bit."
"Freeze!"
Alpha looked around to see that he and the unconscious Origin was surrounded by the armored girls.
"Who are you!? Are you two Amazons!?" Origami asked before turning her sword on and pointing it at Alpha. "You appear to be in control of yourself. Please be cooperative, we have questions to ask you."
"…Do I have a right to call my lawyer?" Alpha joked while one of the armored girls went to check on the Dragonfly Amazon.
"Hina…are you okay?" She asked before the Dragonfly Amazon turned and lunged at her. The girl was pinned down as the Amazon tried eating her.
"Hina!" Origami and the others noticed as they paid attention that instead of Alpha and Origin. They all got their weapons pointed at the Dragonfly Amazon while one of them tried to get the Dragonfly Amazon off.
"Hina, stop! Don't you recognize us!?" Another girl asked but the Dragonfly Amazon ignored her.
Alpha watched.
"Well, since you guys are busy…" Alpha said before picking up Origin and carrying him over his shoulder. The red Amazon then started running while Origami noticed.
"Hey!" Origami called as the other girls soon opened fire at Alpha.
"Think happy thoughts! Think happy thoughts! Think happy thoughts!" Alpha repeated to himself as he was running before he saw a building in front of him. He soon leapt high in the air and landed on the rooftop before he continued the patter of jumping over rooftops until he was gone from their sights.
The girls were disappointed before looking at the Dragonfly Amazon who got up and flew away. A couple of them checked on the partly eaten teammate while the others tried going after the beast before remembering that their aerial equipment was destroyed.
"…Damn it, why!?" One girl asked out of frustration and everyone couldn't blame her as they felt the same too. "First Spirits, now these…Amazons! What the hell are they anyways!?"
Origami then calmly turned to her.
"That's what I want to know." Origami said as she now was determined to look into this.
(With the Dragonfly Amazon)
The Dragonfly Amazon landed in another part of the ruined city before she groaned. She turned back to her human form but she was a little bloodied and her suit was badly damaged with only her armlet in perfect condition.
'Why!?' Hina thought as she was limping away. 'I thought I could be okay! I hoped that I could work out if I take my fighting side out of my human form! I wanted to live so bad….to live as a human…'
As Hina was limping, she thought back to her team; the Anti-Spirit Team. Sure they were equipped to fight only Spirits, but their weaponry looks like it's more than enough to kill her. But does that mean she should be open to getting killed?
'Is my only choice to be killed? But…at least it would be them…' Hina thought as the only solace she could find is being killed by the girls she called her friends and family.
(Later with Daigo)
Daigo was in a messy room and drinking a can of soda on his bed while an unconscious and messy Shido was slumped against the wall. Soon the door opened up, revealing Rinne which must've meant that the Spacequake warning was over.
"It's over?"
"Hai, my parents are going to be late though." Rinne explained as the lockdown managed to push back a lot of businesses. She then noticed Shido and this got her to look very surprised before looking at Daigo. The pink-haired girl was curious but also braced herself for the worst as Daigo only gets himself involved if there are Amazons involved or if she asked him to do something. "Why is Shido here?"
"He's an Amazon like me, even the same type. He was attacking me, the Awakened Amazon, and a bunch of mecha-styled girls. Got him away just in time before he reverted back into…" Daigo pointed at the unconscious Shido before Rinne noticed that his sleeve was rolled all the way up, revealing no armlet.
"He doesn't have an armlet like the others." Rinne noted while Daigo nodded.
"I'm well aware of that but putting it on him means he'll wake up from the pain. I was waiting for you to arrive because it'll be easier to explain with someone he trusts." Daigo explained, not wanting to make the situation uncomfortable for Shido then it already is.
"Fine…but promise me you don't kill him." Rinne requested and Daigo thought about it. He made it his personal mission to kill every living Amazon there is and Shido was no exception. But Rinne was someone close to his heart whom he didn't want to lose. Daigo had no choice but to say yes.
"Fine but I'm not holding back if he attacks me first." Daigo warned as he does not want to be left open to any surprise attacks.
Rinne had no choice but to accept that, given how adamant her boyfriend is regarding the pressing matter of the Amazons.
"Alright, I suppose that'll be enough." Rinne said as Daigo smiled before kissing her out of gratitude.
"Thank you for understanding." Daigo said before he went to his closest and crouched down when seeing his souvenir trunk at his feet. He opened and dug through it before pulling out the object he needed, which was an armlet like Hina had but it had blue eyes,
Daigo opened the armlet, revealing a series of needles inside. Daigo then approached the unconscious Shido.
"I'm not going to lie…you may feel some discomfort." Daigo said before taking Shido's exposed arm and placed latched the armlet on it, the thick needles digging into his skin.
Shido screamed as the pain woke him up. He opened his eyes as he held his arm, the pain being too fierce. Rinne just stared at him while Daigo was finishing his soda. Shido looked around, trying to figure out where he is before noticing and recognizing Rinne.
"Rinne?" Shido recognized before piecing together that her presence meant the lockdown was over. Before he can say anything else, Daigo approached him.
"Do you remember why you're here?" He asked which made Shido think.
"I…Aarrgh!" Shido yelled as his head hurt while being filled with images of him transforming into Origin and what he did as the green lizard Amazon. As soon as he remembered everything, Shido slightly panicked as he was trying to process the fact he transformed into a rampaging monster despite telling the Princess that he wouldn't hurt or kill anyone. "W-Why…Why did I do that?"
"Why?" Daigo repeated before grabbing Shido's head and making him look at him in the eyes. "The most logical answer being is that you're an Amazon."
"A-Amazon…?" Shido asked as this was the first time he ever heard the name.
Daigo examined Shido's expression to see that the blue-haired teen had honestly no clue what he was talking about.
"You mean to tell me that…you don't know who you are?" Daigo asked, confusing Shido even further.
"What are you talking about? What the hell is an Amazon?" Shido asked fearfully, only making Daigo smile and laugh as he let go of Shido's head.
"Man, this is a first!" Daigo said as he laughed while Rinne just looked a little sad for obvious reasons. "So you've got no info to give me. Makes me wonder why I didn't just kill you on the spot?"
"Ahem!" Rinne cough making Daigo change his expression to a more fearful one.
"N-Not that I would to begin with!" Daigo said as he was a bit more fearful of his girlfriend than anything else.
"What are you talking about? Daigo, please-."
"I'll make this quick for you and avoid complications. In short-."
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
"Oh my lunch!" Daigo recognized as he left the room and went downstairs to the kitchen. "It already smells so good!"
As Daigo was getting lunch ready, Shido looked at Rinne as she would be the one to give him straightforward answers right away. Plus, she was someone that Shido personally trusts with his life.
"Rinne?"
Rinne looked at him and it was obvious he was still frightened while getting use to the armlet.
"Shido, I'm so sorry this is so much for you to take in during such a short amount of time." Rinne apologized as she thought back to how nice Shido was in her childhood and to realize that he's a lab-created monster. Although that probably wasn't bad as being the guy himself.
Shido's eyes then widened as he remembered something crucial; Kotori. He soon looked at Rinne before getting up and grabbing both of her shoulders.
"Rinne, please…please tell me you saw Kotori." Shido begged with a desperate look. "I was trying to find her before…things went crazy." Shido said, summing everything up in three words.
Rinne shook her head, much to Shido's discomfort.
"I'm sorry, Shido but I haven't seen her at all since I got out of the shelter." Rinne explained and Shido only held his head down in depression. Rinne then hugged him as she saw that Shido needed as much support as he can get.
"Hot! Hot! Hot!" Daigo said as he entered the room with two hot bowls of soup. He laid them on the table in the center of the room before looking at both Shido and Rinne. "How cute. Now then Rinne, I think it's time for our guest to eat."
Rinne nodded as she stopped hugging Shido and Shido looked down at his bowl while Daigo was happily eating his.
"It's best that you eat. You need the proteins." Rinne said and Shido sat down to examine the soup at a much closer look.
"Proteins?" Shido asked as Daigo gave him chopsticks for his soup. He knows proteins were important but how were they important to Amazons?
"To be blunt, you and I have Amazon cells in our bodies that consume human cells." Daigo explained as he was eating. "And that Amazon cells make up that lil' critter you became that I fought. So…have you ever wanted to eat someone?"
"O-Of course not!" Shido said immediately. No normal human would ever say yes to that but unfortunately for Shido, he was anything but human.
"I see." Daigo said before thinking about what Rinne texted him about Shido while she was in school. "You must've had a good controlled method for you to have lasted more than two years and without an armlet…"
Daigo then looked at Rinne for an answer he needed.
"And he's a childhood friend?" He asked, earning a nod from Rinne which was really surprising. "A REALLY good control method..." Daigo remarked before thinking of possible control methods in a case like this. He soon looked at Shido. "Have you been taking any meds?" Daigo asked as he continued eating his soup.
"M-Meds?" Shido then realized the one thing that he's always been taking. "Shots…"
"I see." Daigo replied before looking at Shido's unfinished soup. "You really need to take that. As an Amazon, you need tons of proteins if you want to have any human cells left in you."
Shido looked and the soup nervously before he started to eat it while Daigo just smiled as he finished his soup.
"Man, what an obedient little Amazon you are!" Daigo remarked as he laughed a bit before looking at Shido's new armlet. "The armlets work just like the shots. They automatically inject you with drugs. The worst part is when you run out of medicine, you become an Amazon and only focus on food."
"Food?"
Daigo then had a serious look.
"You'd want to eat humans." He explained, scaring Shido even more now that he knows that he's basically a human eating time bomb. "Once the Amazon cells awaken within you, the drugs no longer work. There's no more control. Be fortunate that I got you out of that just in time."
Shido soon finished eating before Daigo got up and looking at Rinne.
"I'm gonna go and feed the chickens." He told Rinne and looked at Shido. "How about you come with me? You could use some fresh air."
Shido was silent but looked at Rinne, seeing that she was the only one with much experience with Daigo.
"You don't have to worry about him, Shido. He promised me that he won't hurt you if need be." Rinne assured before Shido thought about it. He reluctantly agreed as he needed to get on Daigo's good side, especially since black-haired red-streaked teen can easily kill him just as easily. And despite Rinne vouching for him, he might as well build up on that trust by himself.
He soon got up and followed Daigo downstairs and out before they went to the backyard and saw several chickens wandering around along with a makeshift coop with several nests inside. Daigo examined all the chickens before picking up one and getting a combat knife.
"Your luck just keeps running today. You get to have chicken hot pot with us tonight." Daigo stated as his mouth was practically drooling at the thought.
"Eh? Isn't that your pet?" Shido asked as he knew how people love chickens up to the point that they would keep them as pets.
"Pet? We're raising these chickens to eat them." Daigo explained, surprising Shido.
"And that's alright with the Sonogamis?" Shido asked, knowing from experience how Rinne's parents can be strict if need be.
"They were open to it after what happened between us." Daigo explained as Shido was a bit curious of what he meant but he felt sicker due to the fact that Daigo is raising a slaughter farm. "Even before I became an Amazon, I mostly eat what I killed myself. I make few exceptions but I've never eaten any humans yet."
That was a statement that even made Shido even sicker. He covered his mouth as he felt sick before Daigo noticed.
"You gonna throw up? Then would you be kind to do it in the garden? It'll help fertilize it." Daigo said, pointing at the plants. Shido immediately ran to said plants and was now puking his guts out while Daigo laughed at that as he went back into the house. "Remember to spread as much as you can!"
(With Origami)
"Are you certain about this, Origami?" Captain Ryoko Kusakabe asked as she, Origami, and the rest of her team were being debriefed.
"Yes, the group of creatures that we hunted recently in the past two years are called Amazons, formerly Anomalies." Origami explained as she remembered her fight with the three Amazons earlier today.
"Amazons…"
"The worst part is that they can hide among the humans. One of our teammates…turned…" Origami said, remembering Hina's transformation
Ryoko looked at the others and noticed the missing spot.
"Hina?"
"We tried to talk her out of it, Captain but…" One of the other girls said before looking at the bite mark that was between her neck and shoulder.
"Did you guys…eliminate her?" Ryoko asked and Origami and her team shook their head.
"The red Amazon took off with the green one. We were too focused on them trying to escape that we didn't notice Hina escaping herself." Origami explained.
Just then, her communicator vibrated and Origami looked to see that it was from Hina. The others noticed and looked in anticipation and anxiety.
"I'll track Hina's CR-Unit." Ryoko said as she opened up a nearby computer and starting getting to work. Origami then answered but the message was audio only.
"Hina, can you respond?"
"…I'm sorry…I'm sorry that I've hid myself like this for so long…" Hina said and she was taking deep breaths, sounding like she was still trying to remain in control of herself.
"Hina, what's your status?" Origami asked calmly while all the others rushed her, crowding around her and wanting to know if she's alright.
"Hina, are you okay!?"
"Don't worry you're going to be okay!"
"Hina, come back to us!" All of the girls shouted but they were only met with deep breathing.
"I don't know, if I can. The real me…the Amazon…wants out…" Hina warned, now resolved to not wanting to hurt her teammates.
"Don't worry about!"
"I'm sure the government will find a way to fix you!"
"Hina, just tell us where we find you." Origami requested but her answer only consisted of deep breaths. "Hina…please tell us."
"No need, I got it." Ryoko said as she finally tracked Hina's CR-Unit. "She's at an abandoned construction site just north of the city."
Origami nodded at the information.
"We'll be on our way." Origami said while Hina just deep breathed once more.
"If you guys think you can help…then hurry, I don't know if I'll have control much longer." Hina said before hanging up.
Origami then looked at Ryoko.
"Ma'm?"
"Resupply and hurry." Ryoko ordered, seeing the importance of all this. Not only was this a rescue mission but this is a good opportunity to learn more about the Amazons. They can't pass up an opportunity like this.
Origami and the girls soon left to get reequipped and deployed to the field.
(With Daigo, Shido, and Rinne)
As the two Amazons were reentering Daigo's room after dropping the chopped up chicken remains in the kitchen, Rinne noticed Daigo's charging cellphone vibrating before she looked at it.
"Daigo!" Rinne called as the young man approached her before he was given the phone.
He opened it and saw a GPS system with a red dot moving. This caught his attention almost immediately while Shido looked in curiosity.
"What is this?"
Daigo looked at him with a cheeky cheery smile.
"I planted a bug on that white-haired girl when I saw her fighting an Amazon." Daigo explained as he remembered planting a bug.
(A couple weeks ago)
Daigo sensed an Amazon nearby despite his senses not being that well. He soon wandered into a part of the boardwalk that was recently closed off for renovations. He heard some noise in the background and decided to investigate what was going on. As he was getting closer, the noises that he heard before now were clearer and it sounded like explosions.
"Oh, this should be interesting." Daigo said before quietly approaching the source and placing his belt on, where he saw Origami and her AST squad engaging combat with a Bat Amazon. "Mecha girls? What is this some sort of anime?"
Daigo then started to watch with interest as the girls were making short work of the Bat Amazon.
"As fun as it is to watch an Amazon get beaten down and not by my own hands, it's much more fun to fight." Daigo quietly admitted to himself, already missing the thrill of a hunt.
He kept watching Origami and her girls work which made him realize how trained they are.
'Government or PMC…have to be.' Daigo thought as he noted their training was military styled.
Daigo even noticed that the girls didn't seem fazed when fighting an Amazon which made him think that this isn't their first time fighting these lab made creatures. Daigo then got an idea, a new way of finding Amazons instead of relying on his slow instincts.
Daigo went through his pockets and took out a small bug he made to plant on an Amazon in case it attempted to escape him and succeeded. He then prepared to throw it before aiming at the white-haired girl who was the closest.
He threw it and it landed successfully on her. Daigo smiled as he then just sat back on the floor and watched the show.
(Present)
"Since the Spacequake shelter is gone. That means they must've tracked the other Amazon that was there earlier today." Daigo remarked before he got his hoodie on and belt. He then remembered Shido nearby. "Oh yeah, how about you come with me?"
This caught the recovering boy by surprise.
"Eh?"
"This is an Amazon hunt. Probably should've told you that my goal is to kill every Amazon. That'd include you as well." Daigo explained casually and this got Shido by surprise. He was still on Daigo's kill list despite Rinne telling him not to.
"By 'destroy' you mean…"
"What are you? Five?" Daigo sarcastically asked as he was getting himself ready to leave. "I mean kill. Kill, kill, and keep killing. Every single last one of them." He said in a serious tone, which was surprising and shocking Shido.
"You're serious…" Shido remarked and Daigo laughed at that before adopting a very serious look.
"Out of everything I joke about, the Amazons are not something I take lightly. Rin won't let me kill you and if you can cooperate with me on destroying the Amazons, the better. But if you don't like it and get in my way, then get yourself exterminated. You won't hurt anybody, not even your sister. Your hands will always be clean. What a gently way you live without any purpose…"
Shido just stared at him as he was speechless while Rinne just watched the whole thing with a saddened look for obvious reasons. Soon Daigo adopted his happy cheerful outlook.
"Well, think it over." Daigo said before kissing Rinne on the cheek for good luck. He soon left the room and was soon outside before getting on his bike and leaving the neighborhood.
Rinne then looked at Shido with a sympathetic look as he was thinking to himself.
"I'm sorry to say but I can't stop Daigo from going to kill you." Rinne sadly said as she and Shido went downstairs to the kitchen where the pink-haired girl started preparing the chicken.
"If I…am going to eat someone someday…I have to make sure it's not Kotori and get exterminated-." As Shido was finishing that sentence, Rinne turned and looked at him with an irritated look.
"Don't say stuff like that!" Rinne angrily said as she did not like her childhood friend giving into the thought of death or leaving Kotori just like that. Rinne started chopping before thinking about it. She then remembered what Daigo told her about Shido being an Amazon and now that she thought about, there was one major difference between those two. "You're the same type of Amazon as Daigo, but completely different."
"How so?" Shido asked out of curiosity.
"Daigo is Wild and I shouldn't explain why." Rinne said and Shido nodded, knowing full well that meant. He just wondered where she was going with this. "If that's the case, then you're…domesticated."
Shido thought about it and it was true. He obeys his parents and society's rules, he never resorts to violence, and most of his food was easily obtained in the food market or if it was already cooked from a restaurant.
"Daigo and I are together because he saved me and my family once. We allowed him to stay here and over time, I learned that I can live with him like that." Rinne explained.
"And because of that, you two became closer?"
"Very much so and up to the point, where we love each other." Rinne replied as she then focused onto the original subject of the matter; Shido. "There's no wrong way with living a gentle normal life like you did…but at this rate, you'll die soon. Either by the Amazons or by yourself."
Shido thought about it and if the Amazons don't hunt him down for food, then the Amazon inside will make him go berserk again and get the both of them killed. Rinne soon finished as she looked at Shido's conflicted face as so much was being put on him all at once. Despite wanting to help Daigo, she wanted to help her childhood friend too. She then got an idea.
"Wait here!" Rinne placed the cleaver down as she went back to Daigo's room before getting a dark bag from under his bed. She then went back down to meet Shido and showed him the bag. "This is the same as the one Daigo uses. There's two of them, so you can have the other."
"Won't Daigo be mad?" Shido asked, wondering if this was alright.
"You let me worry about that. Now, take it." Rinne instructed as Shido hesitantly did. "It'll make you stronger. More controlled."
Shido then unzipped the bag and saw that it was a belt, like Daigo's. But instead of the gold color, it was silver and the lenses were upside down compared to Daigo's belt. And the lenses themselves were red and not green. As Shido pulled the belt out, he felt and saw Origin and react to it. Shido's head hurt as he could feel and see Origin rising from its cage and wanting out.
It wanted the belt.
(With Daigo)
Daigo drove and based on the path the bug was giving him, the most likely destination would be the abandoned construction zone. It'd make sense in a way, being in an unpopulated area where no one to eat would be around. Daigo soon stopped his bike before taking his helmet off and took his belt as he started walking to the site.
"Jeez, the place is cold." He remarked as he rubbed his shoulders for warmth before hearing…
"Where…are they?" A female voice asked as Daigo then followed the source of the sound. As he kept getting close, the voice was starting to become a whole lot clearer. "I don't think I can…I'm so hungry though…"
Daigo soon saw Hina slumped against the wall of a machine and it appeared that she was starting to grow visible veins all over her body while her eyes changed color from brown and white to bright green and black. She soon noticed Daigo.
"I don't think that mecha suit looks good on you anymore." Daigo joked while Hina looked at him with a hungry look.
"You…I'm hungry…" Hina said as her voice sounded bestial before smoke consumed her body. Daigo then knew that Hina died and that her Amazon side was permanently in control.
"Oh? Sorry, but I already have a girlfriend." Daigo said as he placed on the belt and twisted the handlebar.
"ALPHA!"
"Amazon."
"ROAMING THE WILD! W-W-W-WILD!"
Daigo soon transformed into Alpha while Hina transformed into the Dragonfly Amazon. The red Amazon leapt high in the air before coming down with his claws aimed for the unleashed beast.
(With Origami)
Origami and the rest of her AST squad were flying and were almost at the abandoned construction site. Soon, they landed in front of the area and a few of the girls looked to Origami for instruction.
"Alright girls, our objective is to capture Hina." Origami reminded as they were now patrolling the area.
"Ma'm, what happens if we don't capture or convince Hina to come back to us? We still don't know if Hina still has any control over herself." One of the girls pointed out as she and the others feared the worst case scenario.
"…Then we will eliminate her. Remember what the AST's purpose is." Origami said as the others only looked at her. "Spirit or Amazon, we will hunt any group that threatens humanity…Do I make myself clear?"
"…Yes, ma'm." The girls said and while they weren't open to the idea of killing Hina, they have sworn an oath to eliminate potential threats to humanity.
"Good, let's move out." Origami said as they all moved out.
(With Shido and Rinne)
Shido went outside to the chicken coop with the belt in his hand while wondering what he's going to do. Being an Amazon was one thing but what about Kotori? Is she safe around him? Did she know about him being an Amazon? Rinne then looked at Shido with a sympathetic look.
"I know how you're used to living like this but…you need to live off your own power if you're going to survive." Rinne reminded while Shido just looked at his new belt. Soon Daigo's words echoed in Shido's head.
"You won't hurt anybody, not even your sister. Your hands will always be clean. What a gently way you live without any purpose…"
(With Alpha)
"Ha!" Alpha got out as he kicked the Dragonfly Amazon to the side, making her roll on the ground.
She then got up while covering her wounds while the AST showed up. They noticed the fight as they watched Alpha slashed the Dragonfly Amazon multiple times with his arm blades. He soon noticed them.
"The mecha girl squad?" Alpha recognized before blocking the Dragonfly Amazon's attack.
"It's that red Amazon again. Orders?" One of the girls asked Origami.
"For now, we ignore him if he doesn't come at us. Focus on Hina and prepare for the worst." Origami said as they only prepared their guns and stun batons.
Alpha soon kicked the Dragonfly Amazon away before the AST started to surround her. Alpha couldn't do anything but watch since there was no open room.
"Guess I should let you reunite with your teammates for what it's worth." Alpha remarked as the Awakened Amazon got up and looked around before one of the girls approached her.
"Easy Hina, it's us…You remember?" She asked, only getting growls as a response. "We can help you. Please let us…"
The girl then offered her arm…before the Dragonfly Amazon grabbed it and tore it out. She screamed in agony as the Amazon tackled her to the ground started to try and eat her. She started feasting as the AST girl spitted blood.
"Open fire!" Origami ordered and all three of the remaining AST fired before…
"VIOLENT STRIKE!"
They turned and saw Alpha in a performing a flying side kick. He hit the Dragonfly Amazon, launching her across the area and landing harshly on the ground.
"Didn't know you were into girls as well. That's…kinda hot." Alpha joked as he rushed at the Amazon while Origami rushed to her half-eaten and armless comrade.
"Are you okay?" Origami asked as the girl coughed blood.
"It hurts…everywhere…" She said, trying so hard to stay with the living.
Origami gritted her teeth before looking at the two AST girls left in her squad.
"Get her back to base! She needs immediate assistance!" Origmai ordered and they nodded before taking their heavily injured friend and flying away. The white-haired girl soon saw Alpha and the Dragonfly Amazon fighting before the latter's body was consumed by smoke, revealing a completely revitalized Dragonfly Amazon.
"Damn, must've ate enough to heal." Alpha remarked before the Dragonfly Amazon surprised him by tossing him down a slope hill. "Shit!" Alpha cursed as he tried to make his way back up.
(With Shido and Rinne)
Shido started breathing heavily as he felt and saw Origin regaining his strength. Rinne noticed this.
"Shido?" She asked out of concern but knew enough to keep her distance from him.
"This feeling…" Shido remarked as he remembered this painful feeling before seeing Origin escape from his chains. "The real me…the Amazon…it wants out!"
Shido then screamed as Origin roared in victory. Shido then remembered how controlled Alpha was with his belt so he placed on the belt Rinne gave him.
His eyes turned red as Origin broke out of his cell. It screeched but just as he was about to escape, his human counterpart twisted the handlebar. The lenses soon glowed bright red.
"OMEGA!"
"AMAZON!" Shido shouted, his voice mixed in with Origin's.
"EVO-E-EVOLUTION!"
Like Daigo, Shido exploded into misty energy but it was green instead of red. Rinne only watched as the energy faded, revealing a new armored figure. He had a black bodysuit with his armor mostly green with red stripes. His helmet resembled a lizard and the eyes on the helmet is red with a thin yellow horn on the top while the bottom housed a silver mouthpiece. He had a big yellow chestplate with green shoulder pads with red striped on them. Unlike Alpha, he had an armlet on his left arm with the blue eyes glowing. The gloves looked like they were clawed and had fins along with the black boots. This was Kamen Rider Amazon Omega.
Omega then sensed an Awakened Amazon before leaping up high in the sky and jumping from rooftop to rooftop at inhuman speeds towards the Amazon. Rinne just watched as she clenched her hands.
"Good luck, Shido…" She said before going inside the house.
(With Alpha and Origami)
Alpha was continuing trying to make the top of the hill while the Dragonfly Amazon was trying to kill Origami. She pulled out her energy sword before it was immediately smacked out of her hand.
"Hina, don't-!" Origami started before she was kicked away. As the Dragonfly Amazon started to approach her, two hands grabbed the beast from behind and tossed her away. As the creature got up, she was instantly kicked in the face and being put back down to the ground.
The Dragonfly Amazon got irritated and got up before flying upwards and going back down to charge at Omega. But Omega punched her in the chest, making the Dragonfly Amazon crash and roll on the ground.
Origami looked at her savior which she recognized by the armlet.
"Another Amazon…" Origami said as she never saw this one while Alpha finally made his way back to the top before noticing Omega who was growling and in a bestial combat pose.
Alpha then got a closer look to recognize the one thing on Omega's waist.
"That belt…Rin has always been generous." Alpha remarked before the green Amazon charged and kicked the Dragonfly Amazon up before slashing her a few times with his arm blades. "Oh this is going to be good…" Alpha remarked.
When back down on the ground, the Dragonfly Amazon looked to see Omega with his incoming fist aimed at her. She rolled out of the way, making Omega punch the dirt. This didn't bother Omega as he just screeched before pouncing on the Dragonfly Amazon onto the ground. He then ate a good bit of her.
The Dragonfly Amazon pushed him off before getting up herself. She then tried punching Omega but he use his arm blade to cut off the arm, causing black blood to spray everywhere. She screamed in pain before Omega rushed at her.
The Dragonfly Amazon tried kicking him back but Omega grabbed the leg and took a bite out of it, only adding to the pain. The beast then used her remaining arm to push Omega aside and attempt to fly away.
Omega just growled as he was not letting his prey get away. He then twisted his handlebar.
"VIOLENT PUNISH!"
At the declaration of that, Omega's blades sharpened and he prepared himself before leaping high in the sky. He caught up to where the Dragonfly Amazon was and decapitated her. The Amazon's body fell onto the ground before dissolving into black goop excluding the armlet while Omega held the Dragonfly Amazon's head.
He growled before crushing it with his bare hands, turning the head into nothing but black goop. Origami didn't say anything as she was speechless at the brutality while Alpha tried to approach the green Amazon. Omega, with his bloodlust not exhausted, looked at Alpha and resumed his bestial combat pose. He still wanted blood, he still wanted to kill while Alpha noticed this.
"So you still want a fight?" Alpha asked with a chuckle before assuming his own combat stance. If Omega wanted a fight, he'll get one. "Come at me then…"
The two Amazons stared at each other, ready to fight and kill each other if need be.
AN: And there's my Amazons preview. I know there are a lot of elements from the first two episodes from Amazons but I promise that things are going to be different as the story progresses. If you're wondering why I named Driver-less Omega Origin, it's because I saw the name on the wiki. Again like the other preview chapters, whether it becomes a story or not will all depend on you guys so be sure to review honestly.
