Apologies for being away for some time...

Came down with something and I've been sick since the last update.

Whatever it was, It drained a lot out of me and I couldn't focus.

So if I only got to half of the comments last time, I apologize... Been out of it.

So let's cut to the chase and get to the chapter, shall we?

Out of the ashes, a new flame ignites

(-)

Rise up from shadows and into the light

(-)

We'll stand undivided, our futures aligned

A new brotherhood

This time

(-)

This warning is dire, my words you must hear

A kingdom in shambles, a downfall is near

(-)

Yet I still believe that the peace we'll achieve's growing closer

The first blood must spill like a wine at a feast

(-)

The good only comes once the carnage has ceased

Fight or die

There'll be no release

(-)

No way to avoid the warfare

No way to escape this strife

(-)

Here, now, listen to me

This time retreat spells our final defeat

We must win our lives

(-)

This time

The ways of the past we'll get over

We'll climb

Enlightened, a new state of mind

And now

I'll stand with you shoulder to shoulder

Out of the ashes, a new flame ignites

Rise up from shadows and into the light

We'll stand undivided

Our futures aligned

A new brotherhood

It's time

(-)

The world sees what we're made of

We change the spite to love (its time)

Today was so eventful!

She ran into new people. Made new friends. Had so many new experiences!

And got to witness something that didn't make logical sense! An alien to their world! Oh, Father would love to hear about…

Grimacing, Penny glanced out the back window of the limousine at her new friends and several Beacon Professors as they sorted the situations as they pulled away. Turning back around in her seat, she lowered her head. "I apologize for not returning sooner, Gene…"

"An apology is unnecessary. It was my fault for letting you go unattended. There is still much for you to learn." A gruff masculine voice came from beside her, his smooth face sternly gazing ahead.

She winced and tilted her head further. He was unmistakably upset. He simply didn't want to…

"Tell me," His words had a slow draw as he formulated his question, a curious expression forming on his features. "Beacon's newest instructor… What do you think of him? He's… A curious fellow."

Penny raised her head, tilting her head inquisitively. He was interested in Naru… Professor Uzumaki?

If he was expressing interest, did that mean he suspected something peculiar about him? Her father did tell her to listen to him… But she also didn't want to betray her new friend's trust!

Oh, what should she do?

So many people were here…

Every Professor. How they were taking control of the situation and making the correct calls.

Police officials were here, rounding up a few of her fellow White Fang faction… Former faction.

Out of all the stares… She understood Glynda's cold glare. Yet her confusion at hearing about what happened…

Specifically to Yang… How lucky were they?

How badly did she mess everything up? If she had only stayed calm… Made some other decisions…

None of this would have ever happened.

"Got a lot on your mind?"

Turning her head slightly, golden eyes peered deeply into an ocean swell of cerulean blues. And a simple smile that radiated a pure energy.

Somehow, even with everything that happened… Her mood lifted ever so slightly…

Before she swiftly turned away and scowled. "What do you think?"

"Mah, no need to get hostile." Naruto's smile turned into a frown before he exhaled. "I get it… Not all the blame goes to you. We all contributed in some way or another to make this situation what it is. I screwed up to…"

"I could see something was wrong… And I made a bad decision by revealing that firebomb. I just wanted ya to come out and talk about it to someone, ya know?" Naruto grimaced, his ears wilting on his head, his eyes glimmering with remorse. "I could see you were suffering and just wanted to help. I know how bad things can get if you let that stuff stay inside. …Didn't realize there were other issues. Didn't mean to set it off."

Mildly hunching, her ears curling, Blake winced. She knew that… It was just…

And now… Even he was trying to take the blame when it was rightfully hers…

"Looks like you got someone else you need to talk to." Naruto quickly glanced behind him and toward a peculiar individual. "So that you know… I might not know much about anything; still don't understand much… I'll do whatever I can as this… Yeah, something needs to be done.

Following Naruto's gaze, noticing the shift of tone, Blake's eyes fell on her brothers and sisters being taken away. A genuine scowl formed, and her ears twitched.

Was he grinding his teeth? Did this bother him that much?

"Blake, can we talk?" Weiss gingerly stepped toward them, her eyes nervously bouncing between Blake and Naruto. "I apologize… I don't mean to interrupt anything… But, I…"

"Nah, didn't interrupt. Besides, what you two need to talk about is far more important than what I got to say.." Naruto waved and moved away, giving them space. "Think ya both got some things you need to express. Just gonna be over with the rest if ya need anything… Yang still looks out of it."

"Thank you…" Weiss articulated respectfully, a thin smile briefly broaching her lips as he walked away before her gaze fell into Blake's.

A numb shiver coursed through Blake, and she repressed a grimace as she stared back into Weiss' shimmering gaze before her soft voice called her name. "Blake…"

They made their intentions clear. That's why she left… For the betterment of the team…

They didn't need her.

"I've been thinking about what happened the entire time. Thinking about what you said and how I reacted…" Weiss began, breaking her gaze and wincing as she looked solemnly at the cement. "At first, I felt vindicated… Justified. After hearing you were a part of those things, I just couldn't listen to anything you said…"

"But the more I thought about what you said—reflected upon it, I guess you could say—after I was left with this empty void in my stomach. Some of what you stated was true and made me sick to my stomach." Weiss blanched and grimaced, hanging her head. "I've been so blind… Led astray. My life was carefully curated for me…"

"And I despise that fact." Weiss hissed, balling her fists and trembling. "I wanted to make my own choice… Just like my sister… And that is why I am here! …Yet the moment I arrived, I fell back onto my name… Onto the mystique of our name."

Blake's head snapped back, her eyes wavering. What Weiss was saying… All of what she was saying… Resonated with her…

She cringed. A soft sigh left her lips as she sat on the hard concrete, gazing toward the warehouse where things almost took a turn for the worse. "I think I realized something… Despite our upbringings and differences of opinions… I don't think we're so different. We're just here for a new start."

"We're both headstrong, that's for sure." Weiss faux laughed, joining Blake in watching the fire being put out and the building being put back together by Glynda's Semblance.

"I guess I inherited that from my father…" Blake mused with a minute laugh before wincing and muttering to herself. "And his temper…"

"Same, unfortunately. …He's passed many things onto me." Weiss laughed, hearing the mutter, and agreed before grimacing at the thought of her father. "I guess we're both trying to escape our pasts. You from the White Fang… Me from my father's shadow."

Blake frowned, turning her attention onto Weiss, her ears flicking and lips pursed. Was that why Weiss was here instead of attending Atlas? It didn't make much sense to her. Yet after hearing the venom in her voice when she mentioned her father…

"I've… Been running for quite some time, I suppose." Blake returned her gaze to the smoldering flames that were slowly extinguished. "Ever since my father stepped down and this new regime took over the White Fang five years ago… I was so mad and didn't understand at the time. I couldn't understand why he didn't support the new direction and why he didn't support it… I believed in it."

"Ran from home to join one of the few people I thought I could trust as my friend… My mentor, Adam, promising everything would change for the better." Blake scowled as her vision drifted towards the damaged building Adam had been punched through before sighing dismally. "You can see what path that led me on…"

Eyes flickering after following Blake's gaze, Weiss' eyes winched, clenching her jaw shut. That guy? He was Blake's mentor?

…Well, she couldn't judge horribly…

"Seems we've both been led astray on many things." Weiss exhaled, glancing downwards, her eyes glistening. "I… Can't imagine things on the other side. I've been told many things, and I can see they weren't true… I just needed someone else to blame for why everything became so broken. …But I think I've always known the true problem…"

A glum silence fell after her words. Letting what the other had to say sink in.

It all felt too quiet, aside from the firefighters and police officers working on containing the damage.

"Can we start over again?" Weiss broke the tension, turning her head to Blake. "I think… We both made mistakes. Fell back onto who we were…"

"Instead of who we're trying to become." Blake finished for Weiss, meeting her gaze with a slim smile. "But it's not good to forget… That's what caused all these issues we have… Instead, let's promise to put aside our differences… Our views… And learn from each other."

"That sounds good to me…" Weiss locked her gaze with Blake, returning the slight smile before jokingly scoffing. "But if something like this happens again… Don't run off again. Thought you were here to stop running."

Blake winced and attempted to flick her hand through her hair sheepishly, only to frown. She had cut it…

"And what did you do to yourself?" Weiss scowled, glaring at her. "That's going to take so long to fix! When we get back, let me look at how to fix that… Mother had me study cosmetology… Father said something about always wanting to look good and how to present myself…"

"Ms. Belladonna." Cut Weiss' statement short, causing both to glance up.

To see the headmaster standing before them, arms held behind his back. "If you wouldn't mind…"

"I think we need to have a word."

Nervously twitching as she sat before Ozpin, Blake grimaced and shrunk into herself even as he poured a cup of cocoa into a spare cup for her.

This situation was the worst…

Was she about to be expelled? She would deserve it…

She put her friends in danger… Yang would not have had an arm if Naruto wasn't around… She couldn't expect someone from another world to erase her mistake.

Perhaps he would only demote her? Maybe he still saw something in her? …It would be just punishment if she were allowed to stay. She had hardly been a leader these past few days…

Ruby proved she was more than capable of taking the lead… She truly should have been named the leader.

He made a mistake…

"It's quite difficult, isn't it?"

Quickly, her gaze interlocked with the Headmaster's as he handed her the cup, taking a small sip from his own. How did he…

Blake shrunk further as she settled the cup into her lap… No, it was apparent. She had made so many mistakes…

"I'm unfit to be leader of my team… To be here…"

"I don't believe either of those things." Ozpin shook his head, sympathetically gazing upon her. "I've made many mistakes in my time… Far too many to count… Bring you here is not one of them."

Meeting his gentle gaze, her ears perked up. So he wasn't expelling her?

Her ears folded back over her, and she lowered her head. So it was the latter…

"Neither do I believe naming you leader was a mistake." Ozpin continued, snapping Blake's questioning gaze to him. "At times, we all make horrible decisions at some point in our life. It happens. I can't tell you how many times I've regretted a decision."

Staring at him in confusion, Blake frowned. She understood that people made mistakes… "But I've made so many already… I ran away from the problem instead of facing it…"

"And here you are, recognizing your mistake and willing to shoulder the blame when there's enough to go around." Ozpin cut Blake off, the slightest of smiles gracing his lips. "Tell me, in your honest opinion, why do you think I named you the leader of your team?"

Pursing her lips, Blake tilted her head. Why was he asking this? She had been thinking about why she was named leader from the beginning… Even before learning how teams always started with the leader.

…She was hardly befitting of being named to such a position.

"You weren't sure who to name." Blake frowned, furrowing her brow as she expressed her thoughts. "You saw something in Ruby and believed she was the better choice, but something changed. Perhaps you thought she was too young and inexperienced… And saw how I took control of the situation in the Emerald Forest and thought I was the better choice at the last second."

"I'll give you credit; you are right on some of the reasons why. But only for part of the reason why." Ozpin nodded, impressed by her reasoning. "One thing I want to impart to you is that you are taking this from only on why I didn't name Ruby team leader. Make no mistake, I believe you are both capable… But you said nothing about the potential I saw in you and why I believe you will be a better leader. Not just now, for your duration here, but even in the future."

Blake's eyes shimmered as she jumped back in her chair. He believed… In her that much? Why would he…

"I have another question to ask," Oz added, causing Blake to raise an eyebrow. "Who are you, Blake Belladonna?"

As Blake froze, her eyes flickering widely, Oz took another sip of his cocoa, observing her momentarily before continuing. "Like I said to start this conversation, it's quite difficult, isn't it?"

"I wasn't talking about leading this team like you assumed." Oz shook his head and sighed. "My dear, I took you in and cleared your record because I see that same fire I saw all those years ago in your father and mother. The desire to want and change things, taking matters into your own hands. Standing up for your rights, even when you took it too far…"

"I saw glimpses of someone who could lead not just a team but unite people, not just Faunus, from around the world. You were just… A little misguided, something that you can't be blamed for. How often does a fifteen-year-old make correct life decisions? I still make horrible decisions more often than I would like to admit… And if I make them, should others have a chance to make them too?"

'I…" Blake stuttered over herself before lowering her head, struggling to come to terms with his statements. "That's not… I was a follower… I made so many mistakes…"

"And you have learned from those mistakes. Recognized them and sought change. And here you are, aiming for a chance at redemption… For something that was never really in your hands." Ozpin countered, lowly chuckling as his eyes shone as he gazed upon Blake. "You have come with more life experience than most. Plenty of mistakes, but a lot of good, too. And because of your mistakes, you doubt yourself more than others… Are fearful of them."

"And I can't blame you." Oz softly beamed toward Blake, her head snapping back up and gazing at him. "It's a long road ahead. It takes time and a willingness to change and learn, yet have a steadfast resolve and belief in oneself to lead successfully. It takes time. It's rare that someone is ready to take a leadership role at such an age. …But I still see greatness within you and believe you are more than capable."

"You have the capacity to be greater than you can imagine. It's time you look inside and see it for yourself."

Staring into the Headmaster's earnest gaze, uncertainty filled her thoughts. Yet the strange warmth held within… The confidence he spoke about her

A strange feeling swelled and fluttered in her stomach. It confused her at first, but she recognized the feeling…

It was the same sensation when she heard him speak a few weeks ago, and every time she heard him speak… He had a weird way of talking, but he was effective…

Blake scowled momentarily. This sensation… Was so familiar with how Adam used to make her feel when he spoke… Hope and belief in herself…

Yet…

"What if I make another mistake? One just as disastrous as this, but next time…"

"My dear, you have teachers here willing to assist and guide you along your way. That's what we are here for… To make sure you are ready." Oz's smile only broadened as he closed his eyes. "It's a long journey, and more mistakes will come. It's natural. But as long as you are here, even well after that time, we are here to assist you… Just like Professor Uzumaki, who you made a personal connection with. I would think he would be more than willing to assist in whatever help you need."

"Now, it's a chilly night. Drink your cocoa before it gets cold. It'll help keep you warm." Oz patted Blake on the shoulder gently before pursing his lips. "Ah, yes. Talking about one of my mistakes… I genuinely didn't have time to change your team name as I was hotly debating on who to put in charge. In doing so, I unintentionally caused you to doubt yourself further, and I apologize."

Gazing into his sparkling eyes, hearing him chuckle at Blake's peculiar head tilt, he slipped a small paper that she scanned before gazing back at him in shock.

"So let's correct that mistake, shall we? I've been sensing a change in the wind… A BRYS has come in, but I sense a storm will soon follow."

He had to admit… Jaune was making leaps and bounds.

He was struggling every day, but he kept coming back. He kept fighting.

Naruto grinned. He had a certain moxie and desire to prove himself. He lacked natural talent and skill. But he was willing to put in the work—something inside kept driving him to push ahead.

That spirit and fire inside him resonated with Naruto. It reminded him a little bit of himself…

…In a few more ways than he'd like… He did remember complaining a lot to Kakashi and Jiraiya when he was younger.

"I'm beginning to understand what they were going through with me," Naruto muttered, running his hand through his dew-covered hair.

Then he squinted his eyes, turned his head around, and called out to the blonde lying in the middle of the field. "Mah, is that all you got? Come on now! You said you wanted extra lessons to get better! Now get back up, and let's do this!"

A groan was his only response as Jaune as he spasmed on the cold and wet morning grass. He shakily lifted a hand in an attempt to get back up. Only for it to fall limply back to the ground.

Beads of sweat dripped down the back of Naruto's, and he chuckled while rubbing the back of his head. "Guess I went a bit too hard on ya for our first…"

"I can take a round for him… He looks pretty done."

"Ya done watching, Yang?" Naruto pursed his lips, turning his attention to her, sensing she had been watching for quite some time after following them here. "While that is generous and all, this is his training…"

"I… Would like to join too. …I—need help." Yang bit her lips; a downcast expression temporarily crossed her features. "Last night I… I screwed up so badly. Didn't listen… Let my anger and recklessness get the better of me… I…"

"You think I'm not reckless?" Naruto raised an eyebrow queerly, crossing his arms before snorting at Yang's blanching back. "I still am reckless and make bad decisions. Let my emotions get the better of me. It's not something that goes away. It's just a part of who you, nah, who we are. We wear our heart on our sleeves."

As Yang flinched again, a chuckle snapped her from her downtrodden mood. "And that's not necessarily a bad thing…"

"I let everyone down!" Yang cut into Naruto, her eyes widening, seeing his expression before she hung her head, clenching her fists before looking down and trembling. "I didn't listen to anyone even when they were making sense… I let my anger get the better of me…"

"Yeah, I know how that goes." Naruto pocketed his hands, tactfully gazing upon Yang as she looked back up at him. "Happened to me all the time. Didn't listen to nobody. …Didn't trust anyone… Took a while for me to figure out how to listen and curb and focus my explosive temper… Still gotta long way to go."

"But I can give you some pointers and help you if that's what ya asking. Things I've learned might just be useful to ya." Naruto beamed, tilting his head and closing his eyes, repressing his annoyance as his fox ears flicked.

Why do they do that?

"The question is, do you think ya can keep up? I don't know how to hold back, as you can see." Naruto gestured toward Jaune, who only groaned in response.

"He doesn't…"

Feeling a strange comfort from the dazzling smile, Yang's lips quivered before a soft smile spread across her expression. Yeah, she could deal with that. …But…

"The better question is, do ya think you can keep up with me?" Yang confidently grinned, her eyes glimmering as she cracked her knuckles in the palm of her hand and stretched her wrist.

Scoffing at the statement, his starry gaze bored into Yang's with amusement. This would be fun.

"Let's see if you still have that confidence before class."

Tinkering with the control pad to the big monitor in his classroom, Naruto marveled at the machine.

He had messed with the low-grade computers in the library before, but this was something else entirely! The holo screens reacted to a simple touch! The complexity of the system and what he could run was just unbelievable!

He was still impressed by the play station Lord Third brought him for his twelfth birthday! This was so far beyond that!

"Come on, punch him in the face!" Naruto shouted at the screen, twitching as his character kept getting locked into a combo that drained his health. "Why am I still bad at these kinds of games?! My reaction time is so much better than it was! Why can't I punch that guy in the face?!"

"Are you seriously using school property to play a fighting game?"

"Mah, ya know it's first period?" Naruto bitterly responded, glancing sideways toward the student intruding in his classroom before sitting up in his chair and grinning. "Skipping class again? Ah, brings me back to the days I had to be tied up and brought into class by my teachers. They had to drag me back…"

"Why would your teachers do… I don't want to know. Your world mystifies me." Blake muttered, pulling a chair beside Naruto with her scroll in hand before he noticed a second player had logged into the game he was playing.

Naruto's eyes flickered in amazement. It could do that?! These things are fantastic! He really wanted to take it back home and have it work! This was so much better than his play station!

"I guess I owe you an explanation…" Blake exhaled, browsing through the character selection before landing on a specific character.

He twitched, for it was the same one he had been using to his annoyance… Why did she have to pick the shinobi?!

"Mah, ya don't have to." Naruto scratched the back of his neck, hardly paying attention to the game, his attention mainly on Blake. "I know I've been pushing ya to open up to someone, but I get it. Some things are difficult to talk about. I… used to keep a lot of things bottled up back in the day… Really made me act up when I was a kid, ya know?"

Exhaling and shaking his head, Naruto made his character decision. "It was dumb of me to put your issues out in the open like that. I can only imagine someone did something like that to me and how I'd react. …Need to be better than that if I ever want to become Hokage. Can't make rookie mistakes like that and consider everything. …And there are dozens of better people to talk to than me. I still have much to learn."

Curiously staring at Naruto for a moment, a genuine smile thinly spread across her features. Her ears perked, and she closed her eyes. "You may be right… But out of everyone… I feel I owe you an explanation more than most. Can't explain why. Maybe it has to do with you being so open to me…"

"I just speak my mind and don't hold back. …Also, I don't seem to have an off switch. Gonna have to work on that." Naruto shuffled his hair before squinting as he accidentally pulled too hard on his ear.

"It speaks to your earnestness." Blake giggled, her eyes glittering with amusement. "It's somehow… Charming."

"Huh?" Naruto awkwardly tilted his head. What word did she use to describe him? If he heard correctly…

That was a first.

"Anyhow, where to even start…" Blake mused, much to Naruto's chagrin, before he squinted as he rapidly tried to press the holo buttons as the match started, repeatedly juggling his character into the air.

"How 'bout not kicking my ass!" Naruto growled in frustration, squinting and concentrating heavily on the monitor. "How are you doing that?! No! Stop punching me in the face! Gah! That's what I want to do! This isn't realistic to a fight at all!"

"Might want to hit the back button to try and block?" Blake suggested, stifling her laughter as she earned a crossed glare from Naruto as his character was already knocked out.

"You suck, ya know that?"

"Get good then," Blake responded in mirth before her eyes glistened as she stared far off.

Somberly snapping his attention toward her, noting the glance, Naruto absently pressed the buttons as the second round of the match started. If she was gonna talk to him…

The best he could do was give her his full attention. He might not have any answers…

But maybe he could learn more about the issues here in Remnant.

"Suppose I should start with the beginning…"

"Which I guess starts with my family and how my mom and dad founded the White Fang…"

"Are you sure it was him?"

"You think we wouldn't have helped that dumb animal out if it wasn't? Yeah, it's the dumb blonde that ignored me!" An agitated, slick yet masculine voice responded to the query, staring directly into a burning amber gaze unflinchingly. "Guy overpowered you when you got my ass out of that failed Dust robbery! I could recognize someone who could do that anywhere!"

Snarling at the tone he was taking with her, Cinder's fingers drummed against the table before her. He was getting a little too brassant toward her with his attitude. He was handsome, but if he kept this up… She would have to remind him who was in charge.

"I recognized his description." A feminine voice chimed in, drawing her attention to a young woman with a bronzed ebony complexion and stunning mint-colored hair cut in a bob. "With how quickly he came in and took control of the scene, disposing of the White Fang commander… We had no choice. I am sure he would have apprehended us if we remained."

"Is that so, Emerald?" Cinder scowled, her gaze sharpening and causing the young woman to flinch. "You realize how much this will set us back?"

Satisfied with her kowtowed and respectful response, seeing her demure bow of the head accepting responsibility, Cinder drew her hands into a tent before her. "Losing him as well as her causes issues…"

"What do you mean, her?!" Roman spat lividly and matched her seething expression as they locked their gaze. "You got Neo captured by him? That's the job you sent her out on? You bitch! My partner is pivotal to any operation I run! Without her, there is no Roman Torchwick!"

Amber eyes vividly blistered at his insubordination. Any further, and she would have to…

"Unfortunately, as Emerald and Mercury reported, that is indeed the case." Cinder internally seething while waving at her other subordinates in the room. "She got a little too close and seemingly tried to apprehend him herself… Getting her back will take careful planning and time since they are holding her in the CCT. For now, we will have to operate without both, it seems."

As Roman gnashed his teeth, undoubtedly about to rebuttal, Cinder exhaled before her amber gaze turned to the shadows, a petite and tanned figure stepping forward, a White Fang mask adorned over the top half of her face. "For now, at the very least, I believe we have a competent replacement for him… She managed to save some assets, at the very least. So for now…

"You will take charge in Adam's stead and fill in for her for Roman. Are you up to that task…"

"Ilia?"

The air was cool and crisp. A gentle breeze fluttered through his hair, the blue tints in his otherwise black hair vividly shining in the moonlight.

It was a quiet night. Construction had ceased for the evening. The village had nearly recovered from the attack months earlier. It was peaceful…

As it should be. …Ha, that idiot… I will never understand how he functions. …To think I thought everything needed to be destroyed first so it could start again…

"Would be great if he would summon the toads so my message can get to him…" Sasuke muttered, scanning the village on his perch.

Strange that he never really noticed this building when he lived here before. Even weirder, it was one of the few that withstood the attack. Heh, Uzumaki sealing prowess is impressive if they make a building so damage resistant…

"His return would be quite useful if he could return."

In an instant, his blade was held at the intruder's throat, his Sharingan spinning loathingly at the individual.

But as his blade passed through his throat to confirm what the peculiar signature he saw, he scowled, sheathing his sword. "A projection? Interesting… Why are you here?"

With a soft chuckle, his eyes tightly closed, Toneri looked amused before his expression steeled. "We have an issue. One I am not pleased by as my ancestors foretold this long ago… And we are not ready."

Sasuke's eyes slitted, and he bit his lip. So, it was already happening…

"Why would you tell me this? Doesn't this benefit you?" Sasuke sneered toward the Ōtsutsuki.

"Hardly." Toneri returned the sneer. "My family has long sat and watched humanity abuse the gifts that were given to them… I wish only to take the gifts away from them and give this world another chance. They come here only to take from this world and leave it a husk… I wish to keep them from defiling this world any further than it has fallen, but I cannot handle them alone…"

"They're stronger than her."

Squinching his gaze in a foul manner, Sasuke clenched his fist. His goal sounded… Familiar… And he hated that.

And the last thing he needed to hear was that. He hardly had time to prepare…

"We share a common goal, is that it?" Sasuke spat at the projection. "Work together to overcome a common foe so a lesser foe stands in the way of your goal? Do you think I would fall for such a ploy?"

"Do you have a choice?" A thin smirk graced Toneri's expression. "After all… Tell me how you are going to bypass the spacial paradox the Crafter has created if you bring him back?"

"One can't exist in the same place simultaneously."

And with that, From the Shadows is done.

Don't worry about the Cardin fight, that's resolution is still coming.

Was always meant to happen to be put off and their issues dealt with after BRYS issues are settled with.

But for now, I hope you enjoyed the chapter.

Let me know what you thought of it if you have a moment of time.

Always good to hear from ya.

We got a few chapters till the end of Volume 2, and I'm running a poll on what everyone who reads my other works wants to see me update before starting to work on Volume 3.

If you can vote, whether that means you are on the app or a guest, just let me know what you want to see.

But until next time,

Peace my friends!
