Alyra
It hadn't even been a week. After I woke up we left for Blackwater Ridge. The boys wanted to get a move on and catch the thing that killed Jess before the trail ran cold. As I was driving my phone started ringing. I pulled out my phone and answered it. I kept hold of my handles.
"Alyra?" I pulled over.
I just can't catch a break.
"John you better have something to tell me." He sighed on the other end.
"I'm sorry, your boys found out the truth about me and Sam finally told Dean about what's been happening with him. They're not all that happy." I noticed they pulled over.
"About what Alyra?" I looked down.
"About the thing that killed Mary. It created an army. An entity found out the plans and tried to create an opposing force. I was the only baby to survive out of ten. Im stronger then the average male, and I have a couple more abilities." Silence followed.
I glanced up and saw Dean leaning against the Impala.
I hate that he doesn't trust me.
"They don't trust me. Your boys. It hurts, but I can deal with it," Dean started walking towards me, "why did you have to leave John?"
"It's dangerous for the boys to be near me Alyra. We're being hunted by the demon who killed their mother. They want me and the boys. If we go anywhere near each other we could all end up dead. They need to be extra careful." I looked up.
"I understand. I'll keep them safe. I promise." Dean was in front of the bike.
"Everything okay Alyra?" I bit my lip.
No everything isn't okay.
"Everything is fine Dean. It's a Sheriff. I'll be there shortly." Dean looked like he didn't believe me.
That hurts. He trusts me one second and then doubts me the next. That's my fault though.
"Hurry up." He walked away.
I bit my lip and looked down. I could feel my eyes starting to water.
"Alyra?" I cleared my throat.
"Sorry," my voice cracked, "I'll keep them safe. I promise."
"You stay safe too and just give Dean some time. He'll come around Alyra. He likes you just as much as you like him. I'd be blind not to have seen it. Just stay strong and keep my boys safe, okay?" I smiled.
"I will, I promise," I heard a chuckle, "thank you Alyra. You've made things easier for them and for me. I know my boys aren't alone. You're doing what I should've done a long time ago. Keeping them safe. Thank you Alyra. Talk later." He hung up.
I slid my phone in my pocket. Things were so bad that if John or the boys weren't careful they would end up dead. I heard a honk. I looked up. Dean was glaring at me from the side of the car. I shook my head.
Focus Alyra.
"I'm ready." I smiled at him.
He scowled at me. He got in and slammed his door. I started my bike and followed after.
Dean
"Do you have to be so rude to her, Dean?" I ignored Sam.
I wasn't just mad at Alyra. I wasn't sure if I could trust my own brother or her.
"I'm not being mean to her Dean. I'm being cautious. Now what's at those coordinates?" Sam sighed.
"It looks like it's just forest. What could Dad be doing out there," I shrugged, "don't know. If that's where Dad said to go then we go."
Sam glanced at me. I looked up in my rear view mirror. Alyra was still behind us. She had her helmet on, but she looked sexy on that bike. I shook my head.
Focus Dean. We have to find Dad.
