The Roost was quiet and peaceful as Brewster was in the process of making some fresh coffee, with Sonic The Hedgehog and Shadow The Hedgehog inside as they were having a drink, with Sonic using the coffee as an excuse to keep going fast.
"Mmm. This coffee is pretty good." Shadow remarked as he finished sipping his coffee, placing down his cup as he turned to Sonic. "I wonder what Brewster adds to this coffee to make it taste so good."
Sonic rolled his right hand as he held his cup with his left hand. "Definitely something that's organic. This stuff is flowing through my blood like it's a sustainable life source!" He then resumed sipping his cup of coffee as he let out a sigh of relief. "Ahh! That's the stuff!"
Brewster faced the two hedgehogs as he poured coffee into an empty cup. "So, anything interesting going on with you two?"
"Not really." Shadow remarked as he stretched his arms. "Although I haven't seen my robotic buddy, Omega, anywhere recently."
"Nor have I seen Amy." Sonic added on as he finished up his cup of coffee. "Which is a relief, honestly. It gets old having her chase me all the time."
Brewster shrugged as he kept on pouring coffee into empty cups, with Sonic and Shadow continuing to chat as it was pleasantly cool outside.
