Brewster was placing away new cups he ordered as he looked at Mr. Resetti sitting quietly at the counter, with there being no one else present as it was snowing outside. "...Are you all right, Sonny?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, just perfect..." Resetti muttered as he adjusted his yellow helmet.
Brewster brewed himself a quick cup of coffee as he took a sip, facing Resetti. "You know, we haven't been getting that many visitors lately..."
"Yeah and I'm glad. The less people here, the more likely there won't be any resets." Resetti affirmed as he then got his typical disgruntled look on his face. "You have no idea the burden it is to get all these horrific experiences from your alternate selves regarding this manner."
"Actually, I do." Brewster calmly interrupted as he adjusted his glasses. "But I can confirm that it's much better than what you have to go through."
"So, how are you doing on this fine night?" Brewster asked as he noticed that it was snowing outside.
"Pretty good." Dry Bowser responded as he sipped his tea, with the drink going right through his hollow ribs as he simply shrugged.
"Glad to hear it." Brewster cooed as he went to look for a scarf to wrap around his feathery head.
Dry Bowser polished some of his bones as he placed his right bony hand on the wooden counter. "What about you, old man?"
Brewster shrugged. "Oh, just the usual."
"Nothing but brewing, then." Dry Bowser yawned.
"Just about." Brewster agreed.
"Well I won't judge."
Brewster was watching it rain from the window, with Digby being present taking a break from evaluating houses.
"Looks like it's going to be a rough night." Brewster commented
"I wouldn't call a simple amount of rain rough." Digby said with his hand raised.
Brewster raised his eyebrow. "You don't think it as such?"
Digby couldn't help but laugh. "Oh no, in fact I find it very soothing, especially when I'm drinking some warm coffee."
Brewster nodded his head slowly as he went to look for some milk. "So I see."
Brewster had a certain roving cat at his quaint shop for drinking, but he didn't expect to be bringing up a curious point.
"You know there's something I've been meaning to ask." Brewster calmly said while placing some different packets of sugar. "Why is it that you bump into new villagers?"
Rover took a long sip of his coffee and then laughed. "I wouldn't have any clue."
Brewster had a surprised look on his face. "Not even a chance for-"
"Nope. Just nothing to poke about." Rover responded, accidentally falling out of his seat.
"Hey, have you noticed how odd it seems that we keep having this talk?" Tom Nook brought up while being right outside The Roost, enjoying the cup of coffee he got.
Brewster was polishing the exterior of the coffee shop. "Well what do you mean."
"I mean doesn't it feel strange that every week we have this kind of chat, yes?" Tom pointed out while tilting his head.
Brewster just stared blankly at Nook and kept on cleaning up. "Perhaps it's just you."
