Kat was in any case a mystery to The beast despite knowing she was a beastwoman no one had willing said yes to having dinner with him before it made him feel a bit strange inside
[Rose- oh, was your heart pounding inside your chest?] Rose said teasingly [Adam- no that wasn't the case] Adam said as Kat smirked at this [Kat- he was nervous he got butterflies in his belly] Kat said making Adam clear his throat flustered as she continued reading
Kat was wearing her Normal clothes as the table was set by the talking furniture the beast gulped nervously at the sight of Kat she was extremely beautiful it's still a surprise to him that she stayed
"Your rather quiet? Don't you want to ask me some questions?" Kat said as she took a bite of the food "would you mind?" The beast asked trying to be nice
"Not at all, as long as I get to ask you a few questions myself" Kat said as the beast nodded "first let's start with introductions since it seems I've completely forgotten to introduce myself" Kat said as she stood up and bowed
"My name is Katherine Kingscholar but you are free to call me Kat...what's your name?" Kat said curiously as the beasts eyes widened "you want to know my name?!" The beast said a bit surprised
"That's why I asked" Kat said as she took another bite of food the beast was silent for awhile until he finally answered "Adam" the beast said as he looked over at her "that's a nice name to go with that fluffy face" Kat grinned
[Rose- you really have no shame in speaking your mind do you?] Rose said with a snort of laughter [Kat- last I recall you didn't seem to have much of a filter the last time we did this] Kat said as a comeback Rose stayed silent as Kat continued reading
"What is your obsession with fluff exactly?!" Adam said a bit surprised "I just can't help myself whenever I see or feel anything fluffy I want to rub myself against it..." Kat said with a purr
The beast cleared his throat trying not to blush "so...how long has this curse of yours been going on for" Kat said biting into her food making the beast look at her shocked
"You know about the curse!" The beast said surprised "it's not that hard to guess...I'm in an Enchanted castle, the furniture can move and talk on their own, a beast commands them, I think I basically got the gist of it" Kat said crossing her arms
The beast could see that she was very clever the fact that she didn't mind his appearance made him feel a bit better about trying to understand her
After dinner...
The beast went off to do his own thing while Cogsworth and Lumiere showed Kat around the castle "you can go wherever your heart desires, except for the west wing" Cogsworth said
"Oh, the west wing is that where Adam is right now?" Kat said without any hesitation "n.no" Lumiere said "that's where we keep the storage" Cogsworth said only for them to hear Kat walking up the stairs to the west wing
"Please come back mademoiselle" Lumiere said but Kat just waved without turning around and kept walking up the stairs until she came to a corridor leading to a bedroom
Kat knocked but after a few seconds of listening she heard nothing so she decided to let herself in to see if he was sleeping so she slowly turned the knob and walked inside
Kat was astounded at the mess in the room she would think he'd at least keep his room tidy 'guess I'll have to teach him some basic manners about tidying up' Kat thought to herself
She saw a ripped portrait and walked over tracing her fingers over one of the rips 'so this is what he looked like before' Kat thought to herself as she saw a glow from the corner of her eye
Kat saw the Enchanted Rose in the glass casing and stood there the rose glowed in her presence she was about to walk forward but came face to face with the beast himself
"Why are you in here...what did you do with it" the beast said angrily "I didn't do anything" Kat said trying to calm him down but obviously that didn't seem to be working
"Don't you realize what you could have done...GET OUT" the beast yelled making a roar "Roar all you want, but fine if that's what you really want I'll leave...that temper of yours is probably the reason you were cursed in the first place" Kat said angrily as she stomped out of the room muttering to herself annoyed
The beast flinched at what she said hearing her slam the door he knew it was his temper that got in the way...but this time he really did make things worse
