Furrball was among the others in the bus. They were going back to Fort Lauderdale for their next spring break. He remembered some things from their last spring break such as Plucky trying to sell a tanning machine, and Elmyra mistaking Buster as the Easter Bunny.
"Look, it doesn't matter how cute you think I am, I don't think we're right." Said Hamton, who was talking on the phone. "Plucky was interested in you first, and I can't steal his crush from him."
Furrball didn't want to ask because it was none of his business. A little while after everyone settled in, he went for a walk by himself. He came across a sad-looking duck woman. But when she saw Furrball, she slowly began to smile.
"Oh, hello there." She said.
Furrball offered a friendly smile and wave to this woman.
"You know, you're actually really cute." She smiled. "Even more than that duck and the pig."
Furrball looked quizzical. Could it be that this is the girl Hamton was talking to earlier? Was she talking about him and Plucky?
"I just need someone to talk to." She confided. "Is it okay if I talk to you for a bit?"
Furrball went and sat next to her. She talked to Furrball about how when she grew up, she hadn't had much luck with boys because they wouldn't notice her, and nowadays, the ones who do notice her take a shine to her until they move onto other girls.
"You know, you're such a good listener." She said. "Out of all the boys I've interacted with, you're different. You actually listen to and understand me."
She picked Furrball up in a big hug which Furrball happily reciprocated. She then began kissing Furrball around his face, covering him in kiss marks like she did to Hamton. Perhaps this spring break was looking up for Furrball.
From now on, I'll be choosing the next girl Furrball interacts with in this series. And the next girl will be Rita the cat. And by the way, this is different from what RedHood123 suggested to me because I figured that his suggestion would've been a bit confusing to the readers.
