Fu Hua and Herrscher of Sentience, affectionately known as Senti, had ventured to the beach for a day of relaxation and fun, though it seemed only one of them was intent on enjoying it. Fu Hua wore a sleek black swimsuit complemented by a wide-brimmed sunhat, giving her a sophisticated and serene look. In contrast, Senti sported a silver swimsuit under a loose sun shirt, paired with oversized sunglasses that added to her mischievous demeanor.

As soon as they arrived, Senti attempted to bolt off on her own, but Fu Hua swiftly grabbed her wrist with a firm grip.

"Unhand me, old hag!" Senti growled, trying to yank her arm free. "I'm doing my own thing and don't need a no-fun version of me ruining my day."

"I'm not letting you out of my sight for one second. I know you're up to no good," Fu Hua replied with narrowed eyes, her grip unyielding.

Senti rolled her eyes dramatically and continued to tug at her wrist. "And I told you, old hag, I don't want to waste my day with you."

"You're staying with me and that's final," Fu Hua stated firmly.

"What are you, our mom?" Senti mocked, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

"I could be if you stopped acting like a spoiled child," Fu Hua retorted, maintaining her composure.

"Shut up, old hag!" Senti growled, her frustration evident.

Before the argument could escalate further, a cheerful voice interrupted. "Fu Hua!" Kiana's voice echoed, drawing their attention. She waved enthusiastically, approaching in a vibrant swimsuit.

"Hello, Kiana. Surprise to see you at the beach," Fu Hua greeted with a smile, still holding onto Senti's wrist. "Where are the others?"

"Still changing," Kiana replied with a grin. She then noticed Fu Hua's firm grip on Senti's wrist. "Stuck babysitting, I see?" she teased, earning a glare from Senti through her sunglasses.

"Watch it, Kiana, or else you'll be missing a limb or two," Senti threatened, her voice low and menacing.

"Knock it off," Fu Hua scolded, sighing deeply. Senti huffed and looked away, clearly displeased.

Kiana chuckled, unfazed by Senti's threat. "You two are quite the pair."

"Pair of what, exactly?" Senti muttered under her breath.

Kiana laughed and gestured toward the shoreline. "How about we all take a dip in the water? It might help cool things down."

Fu Hua nodded in agreement. "That sounds like a good idea. Come on, Senti."

Senti grumbled but didn't resist as Fu Hua led her toward the water. As they reached the edge of the sea, the cool waves lapping at their feet, Fu Hua finally released Senti's wrist. Senti wasted no time splashing water at her.

"Take that, old hag!" Senti exclaimed, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.

Fu Hua wiped the water from her face, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips. "You want to play it that way, huh?"

"Bring it on!" Senti challenged, splashing more water.

Kiana joined in the fun, laughing as she splashed both of them. The tension eased as the three of them engaged in a playful water fight, the sun shining down warmly on their carefree moment.

After a while, Kiana suggested they build a sandcastle. Surprisingly, Senti seemed interested and started gathering sand with surprising enthusiasm. Fu Hua watched her counterpart with a mix of amusement and relief, glad to see Senti momentarily distracted from her usual antics.

"See? We can have fun together," Fu Hua said, kneeling beside Senti to help with the sandcastle.

"Don't get used to it, old hag," Senti replied, though her tone was softer, less combative.

As the afternoon progressed, the rest of their friends arrived, adding to the lively atmosphere. Bronya and Seele brought a beach ball, which quickly became the center of an impromptu game. Mei and Himeko joined in, bringing snacks and drinks to share.

Throughout the day, Fu Hua kept a close eye on Senti, but she gradually loosened her grip, both literally and figuratively. Despite Senti's initial resistance, the day turned out to be enjoyable for everyone, filled with laughter, playful banter, and the simple pleasures of the beach.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the horizon, Fu Hua and Senti stood side by side, watching the waves.

"Today wasn't so bad, was it?" Fu Hua asked softly.

Senti glanced at her and then back at the sea. "I guess not... but don't think this means I like spending time with you, old hag."

Fu Hua chuckled. "Of course not. I wouldn't dream of it."
