A Phantom's Icy Heart

Chapter 1: Prologue

It was a not-so-typical day in the realm known as Magix.

Magix is the home of many magical and unique creatures, like fairies, pixies, specialists, mermaids, elves, sea creatures, and even witches too!

Unfortunately, the last one is the focus of our story right now.

In the infamous Cloud Tower, a certain trio of evil witches were plotting once again.

One witch has long brown hair with blonde colored bangs, dark gold eyes with sunglasses and a lot of makeup. Another witch had teal eyes and frizzy dark hair with pale bangs, and her hairstyle vaguely resembled a storm cloud, along with heavy makeup too.

The last witch was a pale young girl with long, silvery blue...almost white hair that was in a really long ponytail, and icy blue eyes, along with some noticeable and heavy looking makeup. She was the obvious leader of the trio.

It was Icy, along with her friends/minions Darcy and Stormy.

"Another day, another one where those fairies are still alive..." Icy said angrily.

Her best friends and witch sisters in all but name, wanted her to get to the point.

"So, what's the plan to get rid of those pesky little fairies this time, Icy?..." Stormy asked impatiently.

"Gonna try and pick a fight with them again?..." Darcy suggested.

Icy shook her head.

"No, not this time. This time, I think we need to try something a little more out of the box..." The ice witch said.

"Such as?..." Darcy asked impatiently.

"Every time we show up at Gardenia, that little nuisance Bloom what's her face and her stupid friends always stick their noses where they don't belong and gets in our way. It's getting tiresome. This time, I say we find something on Earth to use against them..."Icy said.

"What the heck does that mean?..." Stormy asked.

Icy rolled her eyes.

"Must I explain everything to you idiots? I did some research and I learned in some areas on that boring little earth, lots of ghosts seem to show up in one place..." Icy said.

That caught her friends attention.

"Where?..." Darcy asked.

"In one town a lot of portals seem to appear...portal to the ghost zone. As in the home for the most ghostly and ghastly being of all kind. And the home of the Far Frozen and its fabled infi-map. All we have to do is capture some of these pesky ghosts and that map, and next time we face those fairies, they'll become ghosts too..." Icy said wickedly, a dark smile on her face.

Darcy and Stormy seemed intrigued upon hearing that, but also unsure about what she was suggesting.

"Ghosts!? Seriously? Icy, you know that ghosts and witches don't exactly mix..." Darcy pointed out.

"Yeah, it's like cats and dogs, but on a bigger scale. Remember how that old ghost King tried to-.." Stormy tried, but their self proclaimed leader glared at her and cur her off.

"As if I care about that stupid conflict. I'm talking about gathering some stupid ghosts to keep those pesky little fairies busy while we use that map for our own little schemes. And hopefully destroy them too if we play our cards right..." Icy said.

Her fellow witches seemed more interested on the idea.

"Well, beats sitting here all day..." Darcy smirked.

"What if they find out and try to stop us like last time?..." Stormy asked.

"Those morons don't know about the map. Very few people even believe that map is even REAL, much less know where it is but I know for a fact it exists..." Icy said.

"Besides, those little fairies usually only go to Gardenia while on Earth and this town with ghosts is like on the other side of the country. By the time they catch wind of this, it will be too late for them to even talk about it..."She gloated.

Although Stormy seemed fine with it, Darcy had some reservations.

"Are you sure about this, Icy? I'm not exactly in the mood to be haunted..." Darcy said.

"I just said it'll be fine, so shut up and get ready!..." Icy said in a bossy way.

"Besides, whoever even tries and stop us will be frozen in their tracks. Literally..." The evil ice witch said, confident in her plot as she used her ice powers to demonstrate by freezing a nearby lamp and destroying it.

She was also unaware that she just jinxed herself.

Meanwhile

In another dimension, on a planet called Earth, in another town called Amity Park, there is another person who was dealing with his own issues.

It was a certain ghostly teen with white hair and glowing green eyes who also turns into a certain teenager with black hair and blue eyes. His name is Danny Fenton, secretly known as as Danny Phantom, a half-ghost and the hero and duly deputize ghostly protector of Amity Park.

The same one who spent his days fighting ghosts to protect him home from ghosts who seek to harm it and protect everyone who needs his help. The same one who was currently dealing with a giant, ghostly kraken who was tormenting Floody Waters.

"GRRRAAAAHHHEEEHH..."The kraken ghost shrieked as it tried to used its tentacles to hit him.

Danny dodged it with a quick motion to the right.

"This is like leveling up to max in an RPG, everything is just a chore now..." He said, irritated by this sudden interruption.

It was suppose to be a typical day in the town known of Amity Park for him, with the sun is shining, the weather being warm, and getting excited for the weekend since it was Friday. Especially since it was suppose to be a three day weekend too.

However, a certain ghostly cephalopod monster decide to throw a monkey wrench in the ghost boys plans by attacking the water park like it was acting out a scene from a horror movie.

"Seriously. I just wanted to enjoy three ways without books and teacher's dirty looks. And now I have to deal with a seafood special? I don't even like octopus..." He grumbled bitterly.

He managed to end the fight by freezing both the kraken ghost and the surrounding water, trapping it long enough for Danny to use his thermos and captured it.

"Seafood soup, ready for delivery..." He said sarcastically as he flew away before the paparazzi could arrive.

All this time and he still hadn't gotten used to them.

Well, it's been over 6 months since a certain incident with a time master and a monster he'd rather forget about... one where the end resulted in everyone forgeting about his role in the Disasteroid.

And it has also been over a month since he broke up with his now ex-girlfriend. That girl was Sam Manson.

Yeah, he and Sam broke up.

Why, you may wonder?

It wasn't because of a huge argument, or insistence on her family that she break things off to keep her safe. It was simply that they started to go in different directions.

Yeah, while they both had feelings for each other and cared greatly for one another, they noticed that there were too many incompatibilities and they began to drift apart and get into pointless arguments about stupid stuff.

By his own admission, Danny admitted he wasn't as enthused about her anti-establishment agendas as he used to be, if mostly because of his hero duties. Sam herself was upset at first, but after a few days, she came to see his point. But that was just one issue.

There were a lot more issues before they decided to end their relationship, especially since they started to feel like they were only together because everyone expected them to be together...and that didn't feel right.

It's been over a month since then and he was still having trouble getting over it.

This is usually the part where he'd spend time with someone to talk to, but that not a thing right now.

Sam's parents dragged her to her cousin's wedding, which is taking place this weekend. So, he won't be seeing her for a while. Not only that, Tucker also took this weekend to tour some tech colleges and Valerie was out of town with her dad, visiting her own cousins for a birthday, leaving the ghost boy alone. Not to mention his older sister was in the process of moving out for college.

Everyone he knew was either busy or unavailable.

However, that wasn't his biggest issue here right now.

No, his right now was being alone and having nothing else to do.

That's when he heard the sounds of stomping, getting his his head, he saw what looked like a T-Rex with its body on fire.

"Have I ever fought a dinosaur before?..." He asks himself before scratching his chin. "I guess today's the day..."He muttered.

He flew towards the ghostly T-Rex, only to be spotted as it emit a stream of fire he avoided with a quick zip to his left.

Thinking fast, Danny created a ball of cold energy and threw it like a baseball at its feet. The dinosaur was frozen up to its neck.

"Huh... that was easy..." Danny said before frowning when he realized he just jinxed himself.

"Murphy's law in five... four... thr-"

The dinosaur broke free with brute strength before swinging its tail, sending Danny into the wall of a building.
He slid down, looking neither hurt nor upset. He looked genuinely surprised.

"He beat my prediction..." He said as he got up. "So, any chance we can just cut to you going back to the Ghost Zone?..." He tried.

As if in response, the dinosaur breathed flames in his direction, causing him to raise a ghost shield for protection before turning away and going.

The sixteen year old ghost boy sighed as he saw his ghostly enemy escape. Meaning that he wasn't done here yet.

"I can't believe this. There goes my afternoon..."Danny muttered under his breath, rubbing his temples.

He sighed as he resigned himself to the fact that he would be ghost fighting by himself for the rest of the day and with nothing more to do.

Again.

Unknown to the young hero, someone would soon arrive to Amity Park. And it was NOT gonna be for a friendly visit. Far from it.

He had no way that these next few days were going to be rather... bewitching.

And not necessarily in a GOOD way too.

Later

In Magix

The evil ice witch was currently alone in her room in Cloud Tower.

Darcy and Stormy had stepped out to gather supplies for their little trio, after Icy ordered them to.

"About time those two did their job right..." She thought arrogantly.

It was late at the evening, near the dead of night and an ideal amount of cold for her. She liked it like that.

She closed her eyes and imagined the Winx Club suffering at her feet, including Bloom. And after she and her pesky friends were gone, Icy and her fellow Trix would use the Infii-Map and take over Magix.

"Can't believe that I didn't think of this sooner. Whatever, at least those fairy losers will be out of my hair soon..." She thought, thinking their destruction is guaranteed at this point!

She expected this to be a simple task to make things easier for her.

She had no way of knowing what fate has in store for her and her fellow witches as soon as they arrive to Amity Park tomorrow.

Especially for her.
