Chapter 3

Honey Lily's Prospective

I knelt down beside my father,

Resting my chin on his shoulder,

Nuzzling deeply into his cold flesh underneath the fabric of his jumpsuit.

I knew that the man.

I respected and love was gone from this world.

I'm sorry this had to happen to you, Dad,

You didn't deserve this. I murmured in an sorrowful tone.

I placed my hand on the back of the glider,

Pulling its blades out of his body.

Tossing the hovering vehicle to one side,

I felt him slumped against my chest.

I gently laid ny father's lifeless body,

On the ground, closing his eyes.

Don't worry, I'll be right back, then we're leaving this place.

I told hin as I turbed to walk away.

When I went to retrieve my fox gloves,

i spotted something out of the corner of my eye.

Laying in a pile of rubble was the mask of the Green Goblin,

Picking it up with one hand.

You! the feral fox instinct inside the gentle flower snarled, narrowing my eyes.

Because of you, we've lost a father.

In that same hand,

I crushed it into a thousand pieces.

The voice of the Green Goblin echoed my mind,

After the destruction of the mask.

You can't get rid of me that easily.

What did he mean by that? I thought to myself.

Throwing the pieces over my shoulder.
