Chapter 6

Honey Lily's Prospective

I saw the first rays of morning light approaching the horizon,

I was trying to decided whether to come down from the roof of the mansion or not.

Reluctantly, I jumped off.

Want to or not, I have to do this for Harry's sake,

He needs someone to comfort him, especially now,

Since we lost our father.

As I landed at the window that led to my room,

I said a small prayer to the heavens above,

In my head.

Dad, give me strength, I don't know if I can do this on my own.

I heard his voice flooded my heart and mind,

Don't worry Honey, I'm always with you.

I knew that he will always have my back.

I opened the glass panel of my window,

I climbed in,

As soon as I closed it behind me.

I heard someone knocking on my door

I froze as I recognized it to be my brother

Honey, may I come in?

Just a second, I answered back

Desperately trying to hide my fox mask and gloves,

I quickly opened my closest

Placing them inside,

Then close it again,

I may get my chance after all.

Come in,

Harry came into my room,

Closing the door behind him.

I noticed that his eyes are red and puffy,

Harry... what's wrong?

I asked him, even though, I knew what was going on,

I had to pretend that I didn't

My concern for him would never be that way,

I actually care about him, as any sibling would,

He shuffled to one foot to the other, he didn't know if he would tell me or not.

It's Dad... He's dead.

I walked up to him to embraced him in a hug,

I felt him break down crying, in my arms.

I followed suit soon after.

Releasing all our grief and love.
