Andre's Point of View

I looked at Mallory incredulously.

"So, Mallory," I said in a dangerously calm voice, "Let me understand this right. Ashley was bullying Little Red and told her that her ten-year-old brother who killed himself three weeks ago is in hell and Tori had the presence of mind to give her a reality check? Guess what. Good for Tori!"

"But-"

"I would have done the exact same thing," I interrupted→ not interested in hearing excuses or arguments, "Only it would have been worse."

"Rude much?" Mallory huffed.

"Yes, you are," Cat said.

I cracked up as Ashley and Mallory stormed off.

"Andre," Tori said, "I'm sorry if I was out of line giving Ashley a reality check but she made Cat cry. I couldn't just-"

"Tor," I said putting my hand gently on her back, "You absolutely did the right thing. I'm really proud of you."

"Thank you for sticking up for me," Cat said.

"I love you Little Red," I told her, "I'll always be there for you."

The bell rang ending the day. Cat, Tori, Jade and Beck went on the school bus to go home. Robbie stopped me.

"Andre," he said, "Got a minute?"

"Sixty every hour," I said, smiling at Robbie, "What's up?"

"I was wondering if I could ask you for a favor?"

"As long as you have vocal cords and the ability to make words," I joked, "What's going on?"

"Could I take Cat to your special place," Robbie asked.

"Sure," I said reaching into my pocket, "Here are two passes to get in. Just whatever you do, don't open the red door."

"How will I know which one is the red door," Robbie asked.

"Because it's the one that's red," I chuckled.
