Chapter 53: Party Monster

With their return from Earth after averting a major crisis, Master Yen Sid called for the keybladers over a meeting within his tower. Mickey was present along with Sora and Riku with the young apprentices.

Yen Sid remained sat behind his desk with his hands together while faced the group. "First we would like to congratulate you on saving Earth from being destroyed, but would seem that Cronus still remains at large."

"Yeah, it was thanks to Kefka that freed him from prison he's somewhere on Earth." Taren shared the info with them. "Fortunately our new friends destroyed those rings in time, so the credit goes to them."

Mickey nodded to agree with him. "We heard a lot of what they did and you all did a great job to support them. But still worry of what our new foes will do next."

"Still nothing about that clown?" Riku brought up about Kefka. "How did he get into Tartarus? I heard it was suppose to be one of the toughest prisons ever."

"More like what will his next move could be?" Sora told him when he shared Mickey's concern. "We know a little about Darkar from Faragonda, but this Kefka is someone new and unpredictable. And what we were told he summoned not just creatures, but also a Digimon to Earth."

"Yeah, we had no idea how but he's got some serious magic." Mal implied. "His magic is a lot stronger than the Trix. What if the next time he comes to do this stunt?"

"We have informed the head teachers of the schools, Fairy Godmother also feels we must be on alert but not to let the public know to avoid panic." The sorcerer told them and agreed with this decision should their new enemy use this to their advantage. "But for reasons I called most of you is important for what I have learned could be his next move upon this information. And I fear, it could bring the worlds of both ours and the Magic Dimension into chaos."

Hearing this drew the attention of everyone present to see the concerned and worried look on the elder's face.

"What's that?" Ben asked him.

"Are you familiar with the creatures known as the Kaiju?" Yen Sid gave a question which all but Taren, Ben, and Mal were very familiar with and caught the attention of the wizard. "I see you three know of them."

Taren nodded. "Yeah, we do when we had an… unexpected visitor who introduced us to them." Referring to Chaos who brought a few creatures in their schools.

"Not only that, but I did used some for summoning to fight with against the Trix and the Grimm." Mal added on her experience and also studied about them.

"And also one we seen at Auradon Prep when both me, Taren and Herry got attacked." Ben also told them.

This surprised the others to find out about this for the first time while Yen Sid held a neutral expression and absorbed the knowledge. "Good, but for those who do not, they are creatures from a realm divided by five civilizations that usually engage in conflict with each other: Fire, Water, Nature, Light, and Darkness."

"Almost like the basic elements but different." Taren said and remembered what Flora told him and Bloom about them. "What I found out they use to be at war with the Magic Dimension centuries ago until some pact was made to end it."

"Wait, for real? I had no idea." Riku asked him about it.

"Taren is correct." Yen Sid confirmed it and brought his hands together. "I received information about it and the pact was known as the Tir Na Nog Accord that has lasted for so long. It was named after the kingdom by the Magic Dimension to honor the sudden disappearance of the Earth Fairies, but also to prevent the damage between their two worlds and seal the rifts with the help of a guild of masters and Keybladers to seal the Veil."

"So the two have this uneasy truce but stopped the war that could have destroyed them? I'm guessing there's more to this then a history lesson of the two." Sora had to guess when he knew something serious when being called by Yen Sid himself.

The sorcerer nodded his head and answered Sora's question. "While the two sides have been at peace, I fear a plot could start another war, and also put our worlds in danger."

Throwing everyone by surprise to find out about this and not liking the sound of it.

"A war? How?" Mickey pondered how it could happen.

"The monarchs have ruled their civilizations for thousands of years, they also use their own artefacts that represent their mana. Each artifact wields such power, they can not only summon a creature of that civilization, but also the monarchs themselves."

The idea of controlling such creatures as powerful as these Monarchs was terrifying, but the idea of using them to start a war was something they were uneasy from the last war they fought in.

"I don't like the sound of that." Taren did not like it at all. "So you think Darkar could be after these artefacts as well?"

"No." Yen Sid replied. "But I believe Kefka would very likely after what the stunt he pulled in Tartarus and may pose a greater danger than we realise when it is revealed he is working with the Trix."

"You believe he could also be working with Darkar as well?" Mickey asked his mentor of the possibility but no doubt about it.

"It is most certain and we must be cautious of facing him, who knows what tricks this Kefka may have." The sorcerer gave a warning to them and dread to think what abilities he may possess. "If there is a slightest knowledge about this foe, it is imperative to know of any limits to his power and weakness."

"That could be a challenge." Mal commented knowing how hard that could be to find out about this crazy clown villain. "But what about these artefacts? Will he just try to confront the monarchs and steal them?"

"Well, not exactly." Yen Sid said. "It would seem some time ago, the artefacts were lost. Scattered to places unknown to anyone after the war came to an end. At least until now."

"What do you mean?" Sora asked him.

Yen Sid continued to explain. "From the ancient archives I have found a book which hold the knowledge of the artefacts and their possible locations on each world. It appears someone found them but kept it a secret to prevent anyone from learning about them."

"You mean someone found them and wrote down some info?" Mal found it odd to find out about it. "Who wrote it?"

"Unfortunately no, but if the information is true we cannot ignore this and find these artefacts before Kefka, the Trix, or even Darkar." The keybladers had a pretty clear idea of the danger this may pose them. If their enemies get their hands on them, the danger would be catastrophic.

Needing to warn the others of the situation as soon as possible but with enough problems on their hands.

Taren sighs and ran his hand through his hair. "Great just when I thought things couldn't get more complicated. They got things to worry about with Darkar and keeping the pixies safe."

"You'll have a lot on your hands, kiddo when you get to see them at the grand reopening." Riku gave a reminder of their arrival.

"Uh, I also have something to say as well." Ben received their attention to what he had to say. "With my coronation coming up its gonna be complicated to help out."

This surprised everyone of the update and realised Ben would not be able to help much, but realise there were also to help the new students to fit in and be accepted in the prep academy. At first Taren thought it was a bit of a bummer to not have one of his friends around most of the time, but supported his plans as the new king. Can't have him with a bad reputation to neglect his royal duties and need for the public to adjust the facts of what is going on.

Before anyone could utter a sound, a ringtone vibrated within Taren's pocket to answer when it had Bloom's name on it. "It's Bloom. I better take this." Decided to talk to her in private, making a few steps down the stairs until he answered it. "Bloom? Hey, wha-"

"TAREN! WHAT HAPPENED ON EARTH!? ARE MY PARENTS OKAY?! WHAT WAS THIS ABOUT THE TRIX AND-"

Startled by the loud panicked tone from his girlfriend's voice, he held it from his ear to avoid any damage to the eardrum and tries to calm her down. "Bloom! Calm down! Everything's fine now!" He assured her and waited for a moment to let Bloom take a moment before he responded. "Yeah, there was a crisis and couldn't call due to some disruptions but will fill you in on the details when I get to Magix."

"I'm sorry, I just found out from the girls and had to find out."

"Well you won't have to worry, and your parents are okay, they were confused and scared but relieved it was over." Taren assured her and heard her sigh in relief to hear about it. "But what was going on over there, heard you had some trouble."

"Oh right, sorry guess I suddenly forgot. Turns out to be training and have a new professor, wait until you meet him! He's a amazing!" Taken notice of Bloom's sudden excitement and wanted him to come over.

"Well, okay, I'll meet you at Red Fountain. Maybe have some plans after that."

"Sorry, wish I could but got a lot of studying to do, maybe on the weekend. See you there!"

"Later." He hangs up after giving his goodbye to Bloom, he will fill them in on what happened such as meeting new heroes, fighting an actual god that almost destroyed the world with the help of the Trix and Kefka. But also need to be on alert for whatever move they make if he's seeking out allies. Hopefully a day at the grand reopening would.

After making a trip back to Magix, Taren was dropped off with his things while Ben and Mal be a little late for their own stuff to do. Giving Ben the best of luck to discuss the important issues he has for his plans for the coronation, but also to give him an update should the first sign of the artefacts are located before Kefka could find them. He'll want to share this info with the others the moment he finds them. Mirta came along since she needed to do some bit of catching up on her studies at Alfea, she couldn't wait to tell their friends about her new Winx form from the battle, but worries how her parents would react to it, especially Lea when he finds out she went on a mission without telling him.

Right now having a conversation on the phone from home. "Yeah, I got my things together and arrived safely. Just heading to Red Fountain now." The person he was talking to on the phone was his mother, Kairi who wanted to check up on him.

"Just checking to be sure, I know you managed on your own but doesn't mean I can't stop being a mother." Kairi reminded him.

Mentally groaning to deal with this and keeping their conversation low as possible. "I'll be fine, nothing bad will happen. And will tell the girls you said hi. Uh, by the way, how is Hana doing with her new responsibility?"

Since they came back to home, they had thought Kairi would not accept the fox when Hana wanted to keep it with Dyamond ruined and no place to go. However, they were surprise that Kairi accepted Sapphire to stay with them to show some sign of maturity from Hana to care for her. Possibly something related to her childhood. But had to be careful not to lose the fox should it have any magical traits and not native to their world.

"So far she's took great care of the pup and seems to be settling in. But so far hasn't shown any magic but might wanna keep an eye on it or any signs. Be a little tricky to explain to the neighbours of what type of fox it is."

Taren knew they had to be careful and keep a close watch on the fox, but least to know Hana be happy about it. "Okay then, I better go then, later mom."

"Sure thing, by hun. And don't get the idea while being on your own doesn't mean you can do other things-"

"By mom!" Taren immediately hung up on her before she could finish her sentence and had a flushed face of embarrassment by his mother's overbearing worry.

"Something the matter?" He hears Mirta giggling and smiling as she beside him but didn't hear much of their conversation on the phone but kept the privacy to them.

"No, just my mom being a parent and sometimes it gets embarrassing she checks up since I got back home." Taren didn't hold it against his parents, knowing they were worried for him. But they seem to let him be on his own once in awhile as also spend time to adjust back home.

Mirta could somewhat relate to that when she came home during the break, she told her parents about going to Alfea and accepted when they heard a lot about what was going on but relieved to know the Trix were out. "I know the feeling, but listen would it be okay not keep the part of me involved for awhile? At least at least for now until it be a good time to say it myself."

"Really? Uh, I mean sure, but why's that?" Taren asked her.

"If my dad finds out, he could be mad that I never told him or worry for my safety." She explained to him.

Nods his head and says nothing when she wants to. "Sure, but no doubt he be pleased to hear you kicked some Trix butt and gained your new powers."

That made her smile and more confident in herself now. "Without a doubt." She spotted the Winx and also their pixies. "Hey,t here they are! Girls, over here!"

"Mirta! So good to see you!" Flora gave her a hug to see her and spotted Taren. "Glad you made it as well."

Taren smiles at her and suddenly Bloom rushed over to threw her arms around him. Startled before she kissed him on the cheek. "H-hey, good seeing you again."

Bloom gave him a bright smile. "Well, that was for doing something heroic."

"Say where's Ben and Mal? We thought they be with you?" Stella pointed out and surprised to not see them.

"Well Ben had to sort things out for his coronation coming up and Mal had to stay behind for a bit." Mirta told them of what she heard and thought they could at least stay a little but understood his duties to being a prince.

Taren looked at the newly rebuilt Red Fountain and impressed by the work of it. "They really brought it back in good shape."

Chatta flew in front of him to bombarded with questions. "Say Taren, what was the battle like on Earth? Where there some new villain or that Kefka run about?"

"Uh…" Taren tried to answer when Flora came to his aide.

"One at a time, Chatta. They only got back from Earth and will answer them all."

"Yes, I'm certain we all like to hear the heroic adventures of the keyblade wielders."

A voice that was somewhat familiar to Taren made him turn around to see the man who came to their help against the Trix back in the Downland.

Bloom spotted him and introduced him to Taren, still holding him with her arms around his and pressed close to him. "Taren, this is professor Avalon. He recently started working as a teacher in Alfea. Professor this is Taren, I'm sure you already met."

Avalon gave a charming smile to the male auburn haired teen and nodded his head. "Indeed I do, and like to say welcome back to the Magic Dimension."

"Oh, thanks very much professor." Taren reached out his hand to him but didn't get the chance with the professor seemed to be in a hurry, much to his confusion.

"Apologies, but I should perhaps greet the teachers of Red Fountain." Avalon said. "You lot go ahead, I got to wait here."

Bloom was surprised by this and thought he be coming with them. "But, you're not coming with us?"

"I'm going to meet up with professor Codatorta." He turns to Bloom. " Bloom, would you do me a favour and look after the others while I'm gone."

Bloom smiled and accepted the task. "You can count on my, sir!"

"That's what I like to hear. Perhaps next time we can chat more, Taren." The professor waved them goodbye and walks away to meet the teachers.

"He sure is in a hurry." Taren commented and found it odd in some sense.

"Maybe just wants to get to know the teachers he be working with, trust me, wait until you see what he can do in class." Bloom said with excitement until they spotted a group of witches, one of them was Lucy.

Layla didn't know them but could tell by the feel of their magical aura meant they were from Cloud Tower. "Guys, are they who I think it is?"

Tecna noticed them and glared at the witches. "Yes. They're the witches of Cloud Tower."

"They're on the guest list." Digit pointed out after displaying a hologram of their names on the list.

Mirta spotted Lucy and was happy to see her. "Lucy! Hi!" But Lucy did not gave a response and walked past her without giving a glance, much to Mirta's confusion.

"You think they'll be trouble?" Musa asked when watching the Cloud Tower students walk to the gates.

"It's okay. The Trix aren't with them anymore." Bloom assured her.

"Wait 'til we tell you what happened on Earth, so much has happened." Mirta told them and could not wait to hold in the excitement of her new magic to them.

"Can't wait, especially when I was told about this near end of the world plot." Bloom wanted to hear about it.

As they went inside to join the others, three more students made their way towards the school.

"You sure it's a good idea, sneaking in with the witches?" Darcy whispered under a low level voice, disguised with dark green highlight, purple outfit and glasses.

With her was Icy who had her hair down and changed from white to blonde with a pair of jeans and a silver-coloured coat. Icy was positive without a doubt. "If any of these girls recognize us, they'll be too scared to do anything." She was certain after showing them who the top witches were in Cloud Tower.

"Yeah, we spent years bullying them." Stormy took the disguise of wearing a sailor outfit with her hair to blonde-auburn hair in two braids with a blonde bang to the side. A moment she grinned until her expression frowned over one witch who stood in their way. "Well, except for little miss harpy witch."

"We have to get the Codex quickly." Darcy told them of the importance of their mission.

"Then, let's just go and grab it." Stormy suggested to make it quick before anyone noticed.

Icy on the other hand felt it was too much of a risk. "First, we have to find the piece that's being kept here."

The girls sat in the courtyard of Red Fountain waiting for the Specialists, while Taren decided to let Agumon out of his digivice, Layla did the same for their Digimon partners to join the moment. Tecna and Digit were playing some video game. Musa and Layla chatted while Stella looked relaxing to enjoy the sun. Flora and Bloom sat next to Taren to catch up on things that happened.

"So let me get this straight, an actual god from Greek myths came to Earth and almost caused world wide destruction? And to beat him were these seven heroes." Bloom could not believe that it happened while she was on Magix and could have come to help. Especially when her parents could have been in danger.

Taren nodded to confirm her answer. "Yeah, never thought there'd be real myths on Earth. But when you met someone like Macbeth who is really immortal and hearing his talk of some Gargoyles in his time, that sort of hardly surprising."

"And all this had to do with this Kefka? That's the same one you fought on your way to save the pixies and Brandon." Flora recalled and the way he described about him maybe considered an actual threat.

"From what Yen Sid talked about, he could be working with Darkar for the fun of it. No doubt worked with Cronus for the fun of seeing the chaos happening." Taren would mention of the other potential crisis of Kefka's plot, but knew they had to focus on Darkar to protect the pixies. Even with an escaped god on the loose, he was confident his new friends on Earth will handle it as it was told to be their destiny to stop him. "Luckily we had help and Mirta was able to transform into a fairy."

"Wait, for real?" Stella looked at Mirta in surprise until she pulled out the phone that had the image of her Winx form. The girls looked at the photo and were amazed.

"That's wonderful, Mirta. So happy for you." Flora gave a bright smile and wrapped her arms around her.

"Yeah, it was all needed to beat some monster and a Digimon."

"Wait, what Digimon?" Layla didn't understand.

Taren took his turn to answer. "Turns out, Kefka was capable of summoning Digimon as well and brought one to Earth." Revealing the image of Golemon from his Digivice.

"So that thing was on Earth and attacked you?" Tecna asked him while also studying the Digimon.

"Yeah, and was tough, but luckily came Palmon gaining her champion level." Agumon told them and revealed the Champion level of Palmon, Togemon.

Togemon

Champion Level

Data, Virus Type

Special Attacks: Needle Spray, Lightspeed Jabbing, Coconut Punch

"A walking cactus with boxing gloves? Now I've seen everything." Stella found it odd but no doubt be a lot of stranger creatures like the Digimon.

"I think its looks amazing and maybe other plant types." Flora said.

Chatta flew to her shoulder to find out more. "Come on, Flora there's just gotta be more to ask then that. Get Taren to give us more, what were the fights like? Or show how much you missed him with a kiss. Maybe now Taren's here you could talk about dates."

Flora couldn't help bu chuckle over Chatta's enthusiastic attitude to start up a gossip. Before she could answer, Stella took the moment when she looked happy for something.

"The guys are here!"

The Specialists showed up to see them "Hey, everyone, welcome to Red Fountain. You all look radiant." Sky greeted the girls with a compliment.

Stella accepted the welcome gesture and smiled. You got that right. We outshine all the other girls at Alfea."

"Stella, Prince Sky is being very polite here. You could at least return the compliment." Tune told her.

Sky spotted Taren with them and happy to see him back from his mission. "Great to see you, bud. But where's Ben and Mal?"

"Got other things to sort out at home, they wanted to come but couldn't make the grand opening." Taren would fill them in on the rest.

Sky nodded and wanted to know how their mission went but gave an apology for making them wait for a while. "Sorry for the delay. I hope you weren't too bored.

But Stella didn't seem bothered by it. "Of course not. I was so busy being admired."

Taren and Mirta mutually rolled their eyes when they remembered meeting Neil and remembered what Mal said about the two have in common. An older Specialist walks past, waving to Stella and waves back to him. Brandon looked over at her with a slight hint of jealousy.

"And that makes 26 Specialists." Stella proclaimed from all the boys she met.

"Well, I scored 12 witches plus 17 fairies for a grand total of 29. I win, sunshine." Brandon announced, causing Stella to gasp dramatically and raised her nose snootily. Tecna noticed and covered her mouth from giggling at her.

Bloom decided to get up from her seat now everyone was present. "So are we going to the arena behind the school for the parade?"

"Actually, the ceremony will take place inside." Sky explained to them.

"Inside? For once, I'd like to spend a day without seeing the inside of a school." The princess groaned when she wanted to stay out in the sun a little more.

"Whoa! Stella. You don't really think we'd have a party without a few surprises?" Brandon told her with a grin on his face.

Taren was curious about what he meant. "What surprises?"

"You have to find out." Timmy didn't want to spoil the surprise for them and everyone started making their way to the school.

Taren decided to make something to break the moment of silence. "Hey, since I'm sticking around for a bit, maybe we could hang out at some café or the park." Thinking of asking Bloom out, and maybe Flora with them.

"That might be a good idea." Flora nodded.

Bloom smiles and agreed. "Yeah, sounds like fun!"

"Great." Taren smiled.

But Bloom suddenly remembered something. "Oh, wait. Professor Avalon's class is tomorrow afternoon."

"As in the guy just now?" Taren remembered and never got to ask what he was teaching. "Okay, sure if your busy can sort something out.

Much as Bloom wanted to go on a date with him but had to focus on her studies. "I'm gonna have to study tomorrow morning, you know, to get ready. I wanna make a great impression!"

"Never seen you this excited since the day we first showed up at Magix." Taren was surprised to see her like this. "Just what sort of class does he teach?"

"That's right, you don't know. He teaches the magic-philosophy, it was Faragonda's idea to help us improve our magic and so much I wanted to know to improve mine." Bloom explained to him about the Paladin professor. "That reminds me, I should go tell professor Avalon where we're going."

She made a dash to the direction the professor might be, no one had the chance to call out to her until she called back to them with Lockette following her. "Meet you guys there!"

Taren would have followed her but decided to go with the rest, thinking maybe to let her do her own thing if it really got Bloom into improving her abilities.

Brandon put his hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm sure she's just wanting to get a good grade."

Thinking he had a point about it. "Yeah, maybe. But what was that about just earlier?"

Flora decided to get him to catch up on what happened. "Well, it sort've started out with this black monolith that appeared out of nowhere."

The group, minus Bloom and Lockette walked into the hall, making their way into the arena. It remained the same and restored before the Grimm invasion occurred.

Musa wanted to know what this was all about and asked Riven. "Hey, Riven. So what's the surprise?"

"Well, it all depends on your definition of surprise." Riven responded with a smile, not giving her the chance of spoiling the moment.

They go up to the seating area while most of the students do their spar and racing matches.

"Well, here we are." Sky proclaimed.

"Looks completely brand new." Taren had to admit.

Agumon climbed up onto the edge to get a clear view next to his partner. "So big, you think we could have a match?"

"Probably." Taren responded and no doubt imagine training with their Digimon in their Champion level forms to improve their skills and also their keyblade magic.

"The geometric structure of this place is awesome." Tecna was awed of the sight of the stadium.

"Wow! Look over there!" Layla gazed upon the view until she spotted a young teen about their age, his black hair was waist length and in a loose side ponytail on the left with bangs swept on the right side and he wore a light green poet's shirt with beige khakis.

Stella took notice of him doing some sort of sketch. "Who's that? He's kinda cute."

Brandon knew who they were talking about and seemed disinterested in him. "Uh, nobody."

Taren surprise by his attitude until Timmy spoke to explain. "Actually, that's Saladin's grandson."

"Really? Must be a great Specialist to be related to him." Taren said with amazement.

But Brandon didn't seem to agree. "Him? No way. He's a real pacifist. Doesn't even like to get his hands dirty."

"As a matter of fact, I heard he dropped out of Red Fountain." Timmy added.

While they talked about the grandson of the headmaster, Brandon decided to introduce him to their friends. "Hey, Helia. Let me introduce you. Meet the stars of Alfea." Gesturing to the Winx Club. "This is Stella, Tecna, and-"

"Hi, I'm Stella. Are you an artist? Can you show me your sketches?" Stella suddenly butted in when she took notice of his sketchbook.

Taren snickered of her introduction, only for Flora to softly bump her elbow to his arm. Although surprised that Stella was oblivious about Taren's skills in art when they visited his home, she thought to perhaps encourage him to do more for her and Bloom with his talent.

Helia stood up to greet them with a bow. "Pleased to meet you."

"Why do you draw on paper? Graphic palets are so handy." Tecna believed, being from a world of technology and advance science.

Even Digit agreed with her to explain the reason. "You've got up to fifty undos in the memory, digital chroma control, plus all the layers you could possibly want. You also get Alpha Channel, texturizing, morph targeting, linear-" She babbled on and on, but Helia didn't seem to take interest and showed them his sketches.

Stella looked through the pages of birds he drew. "Wow, these are great. Say, would you draw a portrait of me?"

Taren took a look and admitted he had some skills and gave it to Flora to see them. "Really great designs on the life sketches. But if your gonna do people, a little warning if Stella makes a commission."

Stella gave a mocking pout for his attempt to make a joke. Brandon chuckled and introduced him. "Also like to meet Taren, he was a transfer student."

"Please to meet you." Helia shook hands with him and gave a warm greeting smile.

Taren returned the gesture and pointed to Flora with his sketchbook. "And the lovely ady admiring your art is Flora."

Flora giggled by his attempts to flatter her and handed back the sketches. "It's nice to meet you, and love the art style you have."

"Thank you, its nice to hear about my work." Helia took her comment well. He took noticed of the two Digimon sat by the chairs.

Taren noticed where he was looking and forgot about them for a moment. "Oh, uh, these are two beings called Digimon and both me and Layla are their partners."

Layla nodded and introduced them. "This is Gomamon, and the yellow one is Agumon."

"Hi there." Gomamon greeted him.

"Hello." Agumon replied.

"Hmm, interesting." Helia didn't seem surprised and already had some ideas to sketch them, taken interest in their shape and form.

"Hey, Tarn, are any place to eat?" Agumon asked him.

"We'll have a look before it starts. And maybe Bloom has time to get back." Taren wondered what was taking her so long just to speak to the professor.

Bloom was running around to find Avalon for something she wanted to talk about and ran past some ruins.

"Avalon went this way!" Lockette directed her to the stairs and flew towards them. Little did they realise, they ran past the Trix doing their undercover mission until she noticed them and perhaps ask them.

"We cannot be recognized, no matter what." Icy told them, oblivious of Bloom coming towards them to ask without knowing who they were.

"Umm, sorry to bother you. Did you by any chance see a tall, handsome professor pass by here lately." The Trix turned around, and instantly turned away when they found out the person asking them was none other than Bloom herself.

"Uh, no. Only short and ugly ones." Icy replied.

"Oh, okay. Thanks!" Bloom runs off to continue her search for the profess, leaving the Trix to sigh in relief she never recognised them.

"Is she on to us?" Stormy asked them.

Stormy wasn't sure, but didn't want risk the chances if she had a good look at their faces for long. "Let's lie low just in case."

As Bloom and Lockette were a bit further, the pixie turned to find the trio they met somewhat suspiciously, but continued following Bloom and hoping to be back before the ceromony

Back in the arena, everyone was watching the race performed by some students to entertain the guests. Bloom finally made it back when she appeared to have given up her search.

Stella spotted her. "Hey, Bloom. Where have you been?"

"I was looking for professor Avalon, but I couldn't find him." She was about to go sit next to him, but he doesn't seem to be here. "By the way, where did Taren go?

"The boys went to get ready." Stella answered before the race came to an end.

Codatorta made his way into the stadium alongside the headmaster to call for everyone's attention. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, friends of Red Fountain! We have not come here today to lament over the ruins of out illustrious school." Codatorta announced to everyone when he remembered the dreaded day the Grimm and Tezzeret's army launched an attack and almost destroyed the entire school. "Although the historical splendor of Red Fountain has been ruined, the skills and spirit of our specialists remain unshaken!"

The crowd cheered for them for the heroic deeds they committed.

Saladin smiles and appreciated the applause given by the audience, waving his hand to them to call for attention. "The time has come to restore the prestige of Red Fountain. By renewing the very foundations of our institution." His aura glowed and building up a strong magic through his body, it also started making the stadium to shake, startling everyone.

The crowd became alarmed and scared, even the Winx had no idea what was happening.

"What's going on?" Layla asked in shock.

"It's collapsing!" Lockette exclaimed when noticing the buildings beginning to crumble.

"Oh, no!" Stella cried out

Bloom believed they were in danger when she thought the school was highly protected. "No! What could've gone wrong?"

Taren came along with the specialists to perform, which he thought would be fun to entertain the audience, when suddenly the school started to shake and caught him off guard. "Whoa! What…. Is going on here?! Are we under attack!"

Agumon clutches to the side and was confused.

Brandon seemed rather calm in the situation. "Don't worry, it'll pass soon."

Taren had no idea what he was talking about until he looked outside the window and noticed they were rising high. All in his mind was thinking of what was going on.

"Please, everyone, stay calm. Enjoy the ride!" Saladin called out to everyone to remain calm before they begin to panic, decided to explain his reasons for the stunt he pulled as the structure crumbles and reveal a new brand new school ascending from the debris, levitating into the sky. Completely changed in appearance to a high tech fortress. Most of the building remained intact along with the stadium, the ceiling of the arena begins to open up and the seats extend backwards. Finally, more seats were made by spreading around the stadium, providing extra space for the guests who were much relieved it was over and able to spread about.

Once everyone was seated and relaxed after the event, Codatorta was able to make the announcement of the newly opened school. "And now, ladies and gentlemen, a parade for the new Red Fountain!"

Three dragons were released alongside their riders and flew around the arena. Saladin let out a soft chuckle while Codatorta throws his hands up with the specialists doing their performance.

Layla couldn't help but be relieved it was all just a show and turned to her friends. "Do the Specialists throw these kinds of parties very often?"

The girls laughed and found it a relief while also seem to agree to Layla's question, soon everyone joined in to share the moment.

The Trix seem to be unaffected by the performance of the new school, they almost thought it was collapsing when it was still damaged from the attack they made. But as they stood and think of a way to get into the fortress, their shadows combined to take the form of Darkar.

"What are you three standing around here for?" Somewhat annoyed and demanded an explaination.

Icy was hardly surprised but gave an answer. "Well, we haven't found the Codex yet, Master."

"Fly to the castle. The Grakthroat will be there shortly. It'll serve as a distraction." Darkar instructed them.

"Another shadow monster?" Icy asked him, taking a liking to this idea.

"Not just a shadow. My very own pet." Darkar grins and let out a cackle of making his move to surprise them with his trusted creature.

Auradon

Ben returned to the palace to be ready for when the day comes for him to take the throne, the prince felt nervous and never knew how fast it came. He promised Mal to support her friends to feel welcomed to Auradon Prep and given another chance despite their villainous heritage, to the surprise of others she was willing to let him reveal her's to his parents if it means to show she's nothing like her mother and hopefully they can look past it.

Sora and Riku offered to come with him to show their support and hopefully reason with his father.

While waiting for his parents to arrive, he was being measured by a tailor for the coronation, having to stand still to get the measurements right.

"Nervous of the big day, kiddo?" Riku asked while sat on the furniture with Sora.

"A little to be honest." Ben admitted to the silver haired adult, and more nervous of the idea he has.

"Don't worry, we've known him for years and I'm confident he'll understand our reasons for hiding this big secret for years." Sora was certain of it when he nor anyone else held anything against Mal for being the daughter of one of their powerful enemies.

Before Riku could respond they see Adam and Bell walk inside to greet them and to see Ben. "How is it possible your gonna be king next month? You're nearly 17 years old! Your just a baby." Adam said and was amazed how much his son grew up and still couldn't believe he was chosen to wield a keyblade.

Belle chuckled over her husband's teasing. "He's turning 17 dear."

"Hey pops." Ben greeted his father.

"Adam. Bell." Sora gave a casual wave to them.

Riku nodded and smiled. "Good to see ya."

"Hey guys." Adam welcomed his old friends and back to his son. "17! That's far too young to be crowned king!" It would have been last year but due to the unfortunate incident with the Grimm invaded the kingdom, he wanted to sent their forces to hunt down the warlock for the crimes and even face him himself for not seeing his son for months. When hearing the news of the threat ended, both were relieved and were very proud of their son of how much he's grown into a hero. "I didn't make a decision until I was at least… 42."

Belle sighs over how stubburn he was at times over the years. "Uh, you decided to marry me until 28."

"Ah, it was either you or a teapot." Adam joked, getting a laugh from the boys hearing it. "Kidding. So… heard you guys had some bit of trouble recently?"

"Yeah, but doubt it be something serious like last time, but thought to least give you the heads up after the incident at school." Riku explained to them.

"So far it seems to be more focus in the Magic Dimension, so Taren decided to volunteer to find anything during his spare time." Sora added which made them relieved to hear about it. "And during the times of importance… Ben has something to say."

Thinking it was now or never, Ben tries to put on a brave face to give the announcement. "Mom, dad.." He was interrupted when the tailor stopped him to continue his work and remained where he was. "I've chosen my first official proclamation." Both his parents were surprised to hear about this, yet they were eager to hear what he had to say as future king of Auradon. "I've decided to allow the children of the villains to be given a chance… to live here on Auradon."

Overcome with the shock, both his parents were silent but he can easily read the expression on their faces that his mom dropped the clothes for him on the floor when they were trying to understand why he would want this.

"Not the sort of reaction to expect." Riku mumbled to Sora who agreed.

"Every time I look out to the island, full of the dangerous villains, I feel like that could be their future." Ben pointed out to his parents, while relieved some of the children of the villains be spared, but forced to live outside the borders under strict supervision of any signs of villainy or plot to get revenge for imprisoning their parents or relatives who took part in the Keyblade wars or against the United States of Auradon. He wanted to give them the chance to be something better for them to prove themselves to be better than the previous generation as his father proclaimed to rely less on magic.

His father didn't seem to agree with this idea due to the previous experiences he had, such as the Organization XIII who kidnapped Belle and the rest of the Princesses of hearts for their hearts, or when he fought Gaston who tried to kill him when he was a Beast. "The children of our sworn enemies, living among us? Sora, Riku, were you both aware of this?"

"We did took it as a surprise, but I think he's on to something. Give Ben a chance for his idea." Sora nodded to Ben who was grateful for his support.

"We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most." Ben explained to him so that it would make a start.

Belle was somewhat surprise by this idea, taking an understanding of what he meant when they perhaps help the children to have a better future, reminding her of the times when helping her husband when he was cursed.

"I've discussed this with master Yen Sid, the keyblade masters and King Mickey and chosen four."

"Uh, before we go that far, I think it be best to have this a little… private for only us to hear." Riku asked, gesturing to have the room cleared of the guards and also the tailor.

The royal couple were uncertain why but took the advice, sending everyone out of the room and closed the doors and windows. Yet, they still wondered why their friends needed this to be a private conversation.

Sora gave a worried and nervous look on his face when facing the king before making a silent gulp. "Uh, Adam, what your about to hear will be a great… surprise. So don't be mad, or least keep the voice level down."

Adam decided to take his word, yet still annoyed over this decision his son made but would try to keep himself calm. "Alright, I promise. So, Ben, you already made your choices?" His father spoke in a stern tone to his son until he felt Belle take his arm from taking another step.

"I gave you a second chance." She reminded him and shown to be supporting this idea her son made.

Adam suddenly paused when he remembered how cruel and selfish he was, even before he was cursed and turned into a monster. Treating his servants and subjects so bad and yet still remained by his side and never doubted he could grow a heart from the moment he met Belle.

Seeing him calm himself and let Belle speak up to ask her son. "Who are their parents."

Ben and the keybladers gave a mutual glance to each other and speak the names of the villains. "Cruella De Vil. Jafar. The Evil Queen…." This was now or never, no turning back. "And-"

Meanwhile in the kitchen, Lumière was helping the staff to prepare for the coronation for a practice run. Cogsworth arrived to inspect everything despite knowing they had plenty of time but knowing his old friend who takes his job very serious to make this day ready.

"Now we must be certain everything is ready for the young prince's coronation. Everything must be in order to make this perfect. We need ingredients for the bakery, the food, and most of all the cake. Need some icing. Oh! We must have the napkins for the guests!"

"Calm your self, ol' fellow. We have plenty of time, don't get so worked up" Lumière told him with a casual manner, passing a few chefs and bakers through the kitchen. "It should be a time for young Ben to enjoy himself before taking the throne. You must relax and not get so worked up."

"Hmph, may I remind you countless times the coronation is very important to prince Benjamin. Now he's returned we can resume the schedules." Everyone in the palace knew how very serious Cogsworth takes his job as one of the royal confidents long before the curse, upholding the laws in the palace to keep everything in order to follow the king's laws.

Lumière rolled his eyes. "I hear the young prince had some ideas for his coming coronation, I'm confident the lad would have exciting ideas."

"WWWHHAATTTT!?"

The loud thundering yell caught everyone by surprise to hear it from the kitchen, startling the chefs, causing one of them accidentally threw a basket of flower into Cogsworth's face. The elderly confident pulled the basket off him and wiped most of the flour off his face and turned to worry such as his old friend. "Oh dear. That could only mean the king is not happy."

Neither Adam nor Belle could not believe what they were told, assumed it was a joke but the looks on their faces made it clear it was not. Unable to believe what they have been told while the king tried to control his rage of how they have kept this for so long without anyone aware of it.

Determined to know if what they said was true. "Are you serious? If this is a joke, I am not finding this funny."

"No. It's true." Sora spoke up to answer his question. "What you heard is true."

"But that's impossible! It couldn't be! Maleficient was the worst villain across the many worlds! Led an army of heartless under her command!" The king bellowed while in utter disbelief. "When word of her defeat spread, we all thought it be a moment of peace and turns out she has a daughter?!"

Belle was quiet for a moment as she tried to get her mind around the fact that one of their feared enemies from their past suddenly had an offspring. It never occurred to them nor thought it was possible when never thought the Dark Fairy at the time considered to have an heir. While she was somewhat disappointed her friends who fought against the villains in the past kept this secret from them, but seeing the reaction from her husband may have been proven fact of how they take it.

Ben knew his father would not take this news so well that one of his friends was In fact the daughter of their late enemy and tries to speak up to him to explain. "Dad hear me out-"

"I won't hear of it!" His father cut him off. "They are guilty of UNSPEAKABLE crimes!"

Unable to believe his father would condemn the children of the villains for something they never done, the same to Mal who had done everything to fight along side them to prove herself to them since the day they met. "Mal is nothing like her mother! She would never had been able to wield a keyblade if her heart wasn't strong and been by our side against the Grimm, the Trix, even Tezzeret or his army! We've trained together, fought side by side and she even told us who her mother was when we already figured it out but let her made the choice herself to prove how much she's an actual hero."

Sora and Riku listen to Ben speak up to defend Mal to his father, they noticed how much he's grown and can easily noticed Belle's expression to show some mixture of surprise and pride to her son.

"He's right. We knew about her since she was a baby and the masters believed it was best she be raised outside the states with the children to be given a chance." Riku gave an explaination to the royals. "She was surprised we knew but shown us how she was willing to help her friends out."

Sora nodded and smiled. "I never considered Mal anything like her mother and like Ben I always give people a second chance, even those I fought during my younger years."

"Especially those like jack Sparrow." Riku mentioned and chuckled.

While Ben appreciated their support him and Mal, he tries to reason with his father to give her and the others a chance to live alongside them than be treated as villains. "Dad, their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life? Dad?"

Thinking of what they said, Belle seems to made hers to offer the children an opportunity and possibly to meet this Mal some time to know about her. Turns to her husband in hopes he could give in seeing how their son has made up his decision as he can't be their little boy forever. Adam listened to his son's words, thinking how much he's changed after coming home and was afraid something might have happened for so long, but Ben has grown into a different person with much wisdom. He can thank Belle's traits being inherited to stand up to his old man and should give his thanks to Master Yen Sid and the mentor to train them.

Glances to his wife who nodded to him to approve this and ultimate gave in to them. Perhaps he was a little too hard on what he said. "I suppose… the children are innocent."

Ben was surprised that his father came to an agreement with him and almost thought he was going to stick to his word. But was relieved that he did it. His mother came up to him and seems to be very proud of him when she adjusts his coat.

"Well done." She told him and couldn't be happier. Watches her turn around to walk up to her husband to take his arm to make their leave.

Caught up in the thought of his own, he suddenly felt a strong hand on his back when he hears Riku chuckling while patting his shoulder. "Way da go, kid. You'd make a great king."

"Thanks guys." Ben smiled at them. "I just hope it goes well."

"Believe me, Ben. Your not the only one." Sora also hopes this could work to prevent the next generation from following in the footsteps of families and predecessors.

Back in Magix after the races were over, Bloom, Flora, Stella, and Mirta decided to lay outside and sit on the ground outside the stadium to relax while Tecna and Digit playing another video game.

"Ooh, I needed a break! There's just too much excitement for me today." Lockette was resting on top of Bloom's head to relax, Bloom did not mind to let her pixie rest on her head.

"The Freshman are racing now." Bloom smiled. "I hope we'll have some time to relax before our guys go up again."

Brandon and Timmy caught up with them and greeted the girls. "Hey, everybody. The one-on-one's about to start." Brandon told them.

"Musa and Layla around?" Timmy noticed they were not with them.

"They're getting drinks. Who's first?" Bloom asked them and hoping to see Taren with them.

"Sky and Taren." Brandon told her and knew it was going to be a good match with them two. "You don't want to miss that.

It was something the girls didn't want to miss, especially the two who want to see their boyfriend in a match and got up on their feet.

"C'mon, everyone. Let's go!" Chatta was eager to see the match and followed them.

However, Tecna did not seem interested and more focus on the game. "You guys go ahead. I'm playing Digit, best two outs out of three."

Timmy was sadden she didn't want to come with them, but said nothing and decided to follow the others.

"Wait, you want me to join the arena?" Taren asked if he heard the headmaster correctly. "You sure about that?"

"Most certain, it would be a real treat for everyone to see one of the heroes attended to the school." Saladin thought of it to give moral and spoke with the masters about it, to Taren's surprise they agreed on it now the public knew they were back. "It is a pity Ben or Mal could not come but understood they had, still, better than to stand around doing nothing."

Taren gave a thought of it and maybe it would be a good idea to do some stunts. "Well, okay then, I guess it wouldn't hurt."

"Provided that you don't over do it and use only your techniques to give a fair challenge." Codatorta told him. "Both you and prince Sky are allowed to summon your partners, only to make a fair match if need to."

Taren got the idea and made certain to remember that and no doubt would let Agumon join in if Sky were to use Caliban. "Sure thing, no other magic unless for emergencies. Uh, just one thing, how did you get this place built up in a short time? It must have been expensive."

Saladin had indeed been aware of it. "It was nothing to worry about, but we did receive a generous support by a gentleman to sell some equipment when he had connections to your world, Radiant Garden I believe."

"Radiant Garden? Who?" Taren could only think of some who would have the resources and money to do that.

"A business man by the name McDuck, offered to make a generous deal and build connections with him." Saladin.

The name McDuck was none other than Donald's relative and the richest duck, as well as a famous adventurer. To find out he came to the Magic Dimension came to a surprise, but to have an opportunity to make profit was the opposite. Decided to not ask about it now and get himself ready for the match and give it a good entertainment for everyone.

Within Darkar's Throne Room Darkar made it clear he will send his pet to be used as a distraction on the specialists. "Kerborg, I have a special task for you." Conjuring the dark magic to transform the creature that latched on to his arm, growing ever so large during its transformation."Arise, monster within. Black throat, awake!"

In its place was the form of a bipedal creature with a dragon-like head, purple and pink main, large set of wing and each 'claw' was morphed into a head of a serpent. With its newly increased strength, the Black Throat monster took flight and began its search for the Red Fountain school to wreck havoc.

Sky dashed towards his opponent with his lightsaber, swiping it across towards Taren who held his keyblade and jumped back to avoid the attack, Taren used Seeker Mines to cause a distraction while Agumon jumped in the air and made his move.

"Pepper Breath!"

Agumon fired his attack from above, but Sky recovered from the attack and jumped to the side. Caliban remained by his side and drawn out his sword to attack the Digimon. Taren dashed towards Sky and exchanged blows with each other with their blades to gain a strike.

The Winx watch the fight and waited to know who was going to win between skilled students.

"Wow, they're good." Mirta was amazed by the performance they were making.

Bloom nodded and was cheering for Taren to win, knowing this was a match wanted to have for since the two met. "They obviously been preparing for this for a while now."

"Look at them go." Musa said.

Caliban focused on his Digimon opponent, making Agumon jump and duck from the sharp blade. Agumon jumped forward to attack, but the Titan ducked and threw himself forward to evade the Digimon.

"Huh?" Agumon was caught off guard and suddenly grabbed by the foot, cried out in surprise and thrown across the ground.

Taren looked over his shoulder to see his partner down, but wasn't out of it yet. He dodges the forward slash and blocked it with his Light's Rebellion. It was certain Sky was training real hard and so did with his Titan. Remembered the professor's rules not to use magic but to use his other skills to rely on without them. The two clashed their blades and almost forced the prince on the defence when he swooped his foot to catch Taren off-guard and fell.

However, Taren wasn't going to give up so easily and quickly thrusted his free hand onto the ground and rolled to intertwine his feet with Sky's and made a reverse move and held his keyblade to Sky's chest.

Agumon got up and began focusing his energy on his next attack with his claws. "Claw Attack!" Rapidly jabbing and slashing the Titan's armor with the claws of both hands, catching it off guard and staggered for a moment to back off with some distance until Agumon made the finishing move. Fire engulfed his claws for the coming attack. "Wildfire Uppercut!" His claws slashed the Titan and defeated it, but also took some bruises himself from the fight and fell to the ground.

Taren smiles at his partner on winning and looked at Sky. "So, you give?"

Sky would have shown a sign of defeat but didn't seem to give up yet. "That is if you want to call it a draw." To show what he was talking about, Taren noticed the second lightsaber he had in his other hand. "It would have been a surprise attack, but since you beat me fairly. This match is yours." Sky humbly accepted his defeat and smiled.

Taren smiled and offered a hand to help him up as the crowd cheered on the match. Agumon came up to the two as the match was over. "Hey, you did great work, bud."

"Thanks, that Titan monster was really tough." Agumon commented.

Sky nodded and smiled. "He's not the only one, that was some move you pulled. Now I know for sure to get better next time." The prince made a promise to it.

"You bet." Taren chuckled.

"Taren is so great! Wasn't he amazing?" Bloom was amazed by how well he did in the match against Sky. Of course the prince did well, but was relieved to know he didn't take it personal.

"He certainly is." Flora couldn't agree more and gave a dreamy smile, imagining him being the hero who came to their rescue just like her previous daydream of being saved from a Grimm.

"They've certainly gotten stronger for sure." Musa took note on the moves they made.

Stella was now excited when it was Brandon's turn. "And now it's Brandon's match!"

Brandon stepped out into the arena to face his opoonent before Sky came over to give him a heads up about him. "Watch out Brandon, your opponent is a senior Specialist he's got experience on his side."

This might be a slight disadvantage to the squire. He could use his Titan but would consider unfair, yet he has no idea what tricks this Specialist might have without aware of it. "So how can I level the playing field?"

"Try to attack him from above. If you leap up in the air, he'll be blinded by the sun. That'll give you a chance to plan your attacks." Sky gave an advice to give his friend the advantage he would need. However, their luck was not on their side when a large shadow casted over the stadium.

"Great. The sun just went away." Brandon didn't think it would happen too soon when he needed the sun.

But Sky was confused of why it was suddenly dark when it was recently clear as day a moment ago. "The forecast said clear skies." Both the prince and squire realised it wasn't a cloud but the monster sent by Darkar, the crowd panicked and tried to flee for their lives.

Taren looked outside to see what was going on and looked up. "What the?!" Whatever that thing was, it was clear this was not part of the ceremony. "This doesn't look good!" Immediately called out his keyblade and sprinted into action to help the Specialists when a debris of rocks were coming towards them.

Bloom also noticed this from seats and had to do something. "We gotta intervene!"

"Magic Winx!" The girls transform to help them, surprisingly Mirta joined in to transform as well, demonstrating her new form to her friends and willing to help them. Most of the rocks fell towards the specialists but fortunate for them to have used shields and Taren with his barrier.

"You guys okay?" Taren asked if they were not injured.

Sky let out a sigh in relief. "Phew, that was close."

Stella and Bloom flew in towards the guys who were not injured. "Get going you guys, we'll take care of this!"

"They can get their gear to help, but I'll stay to lend some extra hand." Taren told them and brought out Agumon. Layla had the same idea and called out Gomamon and both began to digivolve.

"Agumon digivolve to… Greymon!"

"Gomamon digivolve to… Ikkakumon!"

The Winx, with the help of Taren, their Digimon and Mirta took position to confront Darkar's monster.

Stella could not help but grossed out by its appearance. "Grossest critter I've ever seen."

With willing support from the Winx Club and the young keyblader, Codatorta decided to let them do their job while aiding the evacuation of the guests to safety. "Specialists, report to your team! Evacuate the area!"

"Come on we've got work to do." Bloom said and ready to fight the monster. They could use their Titans to help out as well, but needed to safe them for the right time with no idea how strong this monster is.

"Monster attack, hurry!" The guards yelled and rushed into action to protect the school while also helping the evacuation. Little do they realise it was used for a distraction for the Trix who watch the monster causing damage.

"Now that's what I call a distraction." Stormy had to appreciate the work Darkar put to make this monster. "All right, let's get rid of these guys." Stormy discarded the disguise to use her magic with no guards in sight, shoots out a lightning bolt to shatter a window to sneak inside.

In another location, Icy did the same with the monster now present. "That Codex is mine!" She strolls inside to the building, freezing a window by the touch of her hand and smashes it to pieces before she walked inside.

Everything was going exactly as they had hoped.

Bloom and Stella used their own attacks from above, yet no sign of any injury or damage to the monster. Stella was annoyed that it didn't work.

"I can't stand being ignored." She retorted.

Taren was on top of Greymon's head and tried to think of an idea when he spotted a flock of dragons, one of the riders on its back was Codatorta leading the attack.

"Let's go!

Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikkakumon fires his horn and made an impact to the leg, but no sign of damage. "That thing is really tough!"

Layla realised his attacks were of no affect on it, the same for her magic as well. "I'm not having any better luck."

"But we gotta keep it busy while the boys evacuate the crowd." Stella said.

"Yeah I only wish professor Avalon were here." Bloom thought with the professor much stronger in magic to tip the scale.

Meanwhile Timmy was helping people leave the stadium safely and making sure they don't panic or run. "Everybody to the shelters!" As he continued to guid them, a guard comes up to him.

"Timmy."

"What is it?" He wondered what was urgent from the guard.

"Two windows got broken by magic, ice and lightning." The guard reported to the young specialist and brought some debris he found in his hand as evidence.

"Magic?" Then suddenly it came to Timmy with only two witches with such elements. "Oh no, it's gotta be the Trix! I've got to inform Codatorta immediately." He pulls up a mini screen on his sleeve to report to the professors and headmaster without wasting time.

Codatorta runs over to the headmaster when he received a call from Timmy. "Another emergency." Displays the mini screen to read what it said and mention of the Trxi.

"What? The Trix are here?" Saladin was startled by the news.

"Should I go after them?" Codatorta asked in hopes of capturing them, or at least stall them.

However, Saladin had another theory of their reason for sneaking into the school. "There's only one thing they could possibly be after. And I wouldn't be surprised if the monster was just a distraction!"

This did not bold well for the professor if the codex was their target. "If we believe the reports on the Trix's new powers, the Red Fountain Codex is in grave danger."

"You and I must go and protect it. And let's bring along the senior guard!" Saladin gave the order to make their way to the codex before the Trix do.

"I'll leave Sky in charge here. I just hope he can handle it." Codatorta stated. "But what about Taren, should we need him."

Saladin softly shakes his head. "Let him assist the Winx and the Specialists to defeat the monster. However we should be cautious if this Kefka character makes his presence known to us." He can only hope they do their best to stop the monster

Sky was riding his dragon and almost became its meal had Greymon and Taren used their fire attacks against one of the snake monsters. "Thanks for the help!" Sky gave a nod.

Taren smiled but was having a hard time after trying some attacks and magic he knew to work, but had to think of something. "What does it take to take this guy out?"

"My attacks don't work on him, reminds me of that monster we fought earlier on Earth." Greymon said and remembered the fight with the Typhoeus with the wings and snakes for legs, but this one has them for arms.

"Yeah it does. But this one feels more… dark… hold on." Taren looked to the girls to give some idea he had. "Hey, think I got some idea that could work against this guy."

Musa heard him and nodded. "Got it, but make it fast when we make our next attack."

"Let's try a double-sided assault. I'll attack from above, you from below." An idea came to Flora of how to catch the monster by surprise.

"You got it!" Bloom gave her a nod.

Flora flies up to the monster from behind, however it took noticed of her and spun around, spits out a shower of grey goo at her.

Flora had no chance to avoid the goo. "No!"

"Flora!" Both Taren and Bloom cried out to her at the same time.

The slime covered Flora could not see anything and was unable to know where it was, lowering her guard and defenceless.

Layla spotted the monster about to open its jaws and moved towards her. "She's in trouble!"

"Flora look out!" Mirta yelled at her with no time to save her.

"We'll never make it." Tecna realised they were too far to reach her

"What happened?" Flora was able to brush the slime off her face, only to gasp in horror of the monster right in front of her.

"Flora!" Taren with Greymon ran towards her, when suddenly the monster was restrained by multiple cords and prevented it from moving.

Everyone was relieved but had many questions of what happened until Brandon asked. "What's holding it back?"

Sky realised something that could work. "Of course! Tie it to its tail, it'll fight its own strength."

"But who could-?" Brandon asked until Flora cut in to point her finger to the source that caught the monster.

"Up there!"

To the Specialists' astonisthment, it was Helia holding the other end of cords.

"Helia?" Brandon couldn't believe it. "How could a dropout pull a stunt like that?"

"I heard he was Codatorta's best student before he quit." According to what Sky knew about him, but relieved Flora was okay.

"Student or not, he helped save Flora and caught the monster." Taren glared at the monster and tried to hurt her. "This bastard made a fatal mistake of attacking Flora!" His keyblade glowed with bright orange and felt the power rising from it and through his body, gathering his strength and courage to confront the monster that dared try to harm one of the girls he loves. Using the high jump towards the monster and clobbered it in the face with his keyblade. "Eat this instead!"

The monster roared in pain from the burning heat and staggered, unable to defend itself when restrained by the cords and noticed the dino Digimon's aura shimmering

Greymon also felt a sudden spike of power and he also glowed with the same color, building up the heat from his jaws and used his signature attack. "NOVA BLAST!" The fireball was more powerful then it was and thrown the winged dark monster to the wall, taken some damage after the impact. Helia was forced to release the monster from the cords and retracked back into the glove he was wearing, unexpected to witness such a demonstration of the keybearer's power.

"Alright, Taren!" Mirta cheered. "Show him whose boss!"

"Remind me not to make him mad." Riven made a reminder after witnessing Taren's power. He was lucky to be forgiven after being manipulated by the Trix for endangering Bloom.

The aura around Taren simmered down to normal and almost gave out, the same for Greymon who was suddenly tired out after exhausting himself of the sudden surge of power. He did not expect something like that and felt a spike of power almost drained him, luckily he got some support from Brandon to help him on his feet. "Easy bud, better get you out of the way."

"What was that?" Musa never seen that before, only time Taren used something like that when he petrified the Grimm back in the city

"No idea, but be fascinating to study." Tecna was awed of the sudden power the two had.

Clutching onto his knees to and sighed a little, believing it was time for him to make his leave after buying them time. The monster tries to go after him and cause more rampage when a torpedo exploded upon impack from behind, fired by Ikkakumon who caught the monster by surprise. Followed by red fountain ships to assist them, but not enough to have an effect unlike Taren and Greymon's previous attacks.

Sky gathered everyone in a secluded area while the monster was distracted to share his plan with everyone. "You okay, Taren? That was some serious attack, but looks as though you used so much."

Taren mutually agreed with him while Flora uses her healing magic to help him. "Yeah, no doubt the Dragon's flame. Gotta need to learn to control it more. But feeling okay."

While Bloom wanted him to rest and not risk his health, but she can feel he was still strong enough and wouldn't back down with his friends in need. But she was surprised when she felt the surge of power came from him to do some damage. "Right now you better be careful, but that attack you both pulled did weakened the monster and might have given us an idea."

Sky nods his head and decided to share his plan with everyone. "Now this plan depends on us, Specialists."

"Magic is useless against the monster and the Pixies aren't much help either." Bloom informed them.

"So what's the plan?" Riven asked.

"We'll do what Helia did and use ropes to rein in the monster and let Taren and the Digimon to finish it after able to do some damage to ." Sky explained. For that, we'll have to work together and target the exact same spot."

"Okay you're in charge for now, but just you wait till I beat you." Riven proclaimed to the prince when the battle with the monster is dealt with.

The rest thought Riven was being stubborn when he wanted to challenge Sky, but the prince didn't seem to mind and smiled to agree with his statement. "Very well, that's fair enough. Come on let's go!"

"Need some help, kids?"

Coming up to them was Lea in his signature black coat.

"Dad?" Mirta was surprise to see her father.

"What are you doing here?" Brandon asked him.

"I came a bit late and already things have gone crazy." Lea explained to them and looked to see the monster on a rampage. "Seems I came just in time and figured you could use a hand."

"Think your timing couldn't be better." Bloom smiled to the fellow fire user to help them.

The monster recovered from its previous attack and went on to continue its rampage, Riven, Brandon, Sky, and Timmy got to back their dragons to fly them into position to carry out with the strategy they can hope would work.

"Come on, let's get its attention." Sky led the Specialists to attack.

Bloom took the signal and called out to Tecna who had several holographic screens all around her. "Tecna, can you position the others?"

Tecna immediately took action to help them. "Specialists, take up your positions for a twenty metre radius."

The Red Fountain students sprung up from their hiding spots and surrounded the winged beast, each holding a weapon get into position around the monster.

"Ropes!" Bloom yells and everyone deployed the rope, successfully wrapping around the target, coiling around its arms, legs, and neck to restrain its movements.

Brandon was relieved the first part of the plan worked, but it would only be a matter of time until it can break free. "That won't hold it back for long."

The monster continued to struggle to get free, however the ropes holding it were starting to reach the limit and beginning to reach the limit of holding it.

Flora immediately notice it and uses her magic to keep it restrained. "Arms of the earth, grab it!" She conjures vines to grow from the ground and coil themselves around the monster's limbs. The darkness creature suddenly yelled out and reacted when the vines came close to its neck.

Taken noticed of its behaviour, Tecna realised something that could be its weak point. "Yeah, got it! I found it's weak spot: under it's throat."

Bloom smiles and calls for the others. "Okay, now!"

Lea and Taren both summoned their keyblades to their hands with both Greymon and Ikkakumon stood before the monster ready to strike.

"Nova Blast!"

"Harpoon Torpedo!"

Both their attacks fired towards the throat and took major damage, cried out more in pain before the two keybearers stood befor it for them to attack.

"Now kid!" Lea called out to Taren to follow his lead. "Fai-" But before either of them could finish their command, the monster suddenly dispersed in a cloud of smoke from the after shock.

This surprised the two when it suddenly looked as if it was destroyed. "Did we finished it?" Taren wanted to be certain and almost as if it was too easy for them.

Lea said nothing and stared at the smoke when he saw something small flew back. He had a suspicious feeling this was all planned out. "I dunno,"

While the monster was 'defeated', Codatorta and Saladin knew it would be a distraction for the real target and brought with them several guards to stand guard of the Codeex. Standing before a dais with a large golden scale on top with the professors stand ready for anything.

"No one can reach the hidden room without coming through here." Saladin knew for certain it was the only path the Trix would have to take.

"Alright, guards! Take up your positions. We must protect it at all costs.

Codatorta gave out the order to take their positions around the scales. Little did they realise one of the Trix did managed to follow them, which was none other than Icy hiding from around a corner. She realised this was out of her league to take on all of them by herself.

"Damn, there's too many of them. But I will be back!" She did what she had to do and needed to regroup with Stormy and Darcy to report back to Darkar, making a retreat while they remain unaware of her presence.

With the crisis now over, the guests were relieved it was over and made their leave early while giving their thanks to those who fought the monster. All of the Winx, Specialists, Taren and Mirta decided to relax and hang out by the park.

Lea decided to report what happened with the headmaster, somewhat doubtful of their victory. Taren laid by the tree next to Flora, holds out his digivice with his partner inside resting, thinking back from that surge of power that happened, almost as if it was some boost. He asked Layla if this happened but she didn't seem to think so when only had her digimon for a short while. Maybe he could mention this to Ansem the Wise for any knowledge he can provide.

"Are you okay?" He hears the soft voice of Flora, resting her head on his shoulder to take notice of him being quiet.

"Just thinking about what just happened recently. Almost like it was a sudden spike when… uh, you were in danger just then." Feeling bad for not coming to her rescue when he should have, but she was fortunately saved by that Helia guy, he should give his thanks to him the next time they meet.

But Flora didn't want him to take the blame for something she made. "No, it was my fault for letting my guard down. I should have been more careful."

"Never doubted you could, it's just what that monster was about to do I was afraid to lose you. But after spitting that gunk on you got me real mad to beat it up." Taren confessed to her and almost felt he wouldn't have been able to safe his friends or the girls he loves if he wasn't fast enough to react.

Flora smiles and sighs, snuggling to his side and wraps her arms around him to feel appreciate of his concern for her and smiles more to feel his arm wrap around her. "Well then, I guess we both could learn to be better next time. And for coming to my rescue, I might consider a reward for my hero."

Not sure what she had in mind, but wanting to enjoy the moment to feel her body pressed to his when he noticed Bloom talking to that Avalon professor, he seems to be okay and not harmed while in a conversation. "Hey, I'm just gonna go and check on Bloom, be right back."

"Sure thing." Flora not minded it and remained on the grass to relax on the tree.

Taren got up and walked over to Bloom and the professor, he was surprise to find him when they had no idea where he was. "Hey, Bloom? Everything alright?"

Bloom smiled at him and nodded to him. "Oh yeah, Professor Avalon was impressed of how we worked together to fight the monster."

"Yes, she did and would have wish that I could have been some help, but I was evacuated along with the other spectators." Avalon explained, which something about it seemed off to Taren but didn't say anything in case he was just over thinking it.

"Really? Well, I guess they needed some protection in case that monster attacked them, or worse the Trix and Kefka might have shown up."

"That might have been a good point, but what matters is your safe." Bloom for certain. Thinking while Taren was with them for the time being to help against Darkar, she would have some idea while spend time with her boyfriend to train with him. But would need to work out her schedule if the Paladin professor allows it.

But maybe when they're fully rested, they're gonna need it when they have to confront their enemies again.

The Trix kneel before Lord Darkar in their failure to get the codex as they were ordered.

"We're very sorry, master. We weren't able to reach the codex in time." Icy told him and hopes to be spared of whatever punishment he would inflict upon them.

"That's because you're a bunch of slow-witted fools." Darkar scolded her but was not entirely mad at her knowing the whereabouts of the codex. "We'll let them think they've won, and they'll let down their guard."

"And not to worry about the keybladers." Kefka walks in with a wide grin on his face. "I just have the perfect plan to keep them busy for you to get your codex, and something you might enjoy to inflict further chaos on our mutual enemies."

The Trix liked the idea of this and chuckled before Darkar continued to share his plan with them.

"Now we know where they're keeping it, and when they least expect it we'll launch an attack they won't soon forget. " Darkar proclaims to the Trix, confident with Kefka to keep the rest of the powerful wielders out of the way as possible and complete his goals for ultimate power. . "The codex will be mine!"

And when he becomes powerful again, not even the keyblade masters will defeat him.

Hope you all enjoyed it! It took a little longer than I thought when I got held up with stuff at home and work, there were some bit of changes I made such as Ben's proclamation to fit with the KH lore, also with how the disney characters would have reacted to learn about Mal's heritage. Also thought to make Taren be supportive of Bloom getting some help learning about her heritage and powers of the Dragon Flame as it could help him out with his, but would be suspicious later on with Avalon being mature (in a way) as the story progresses to see some differences from the canon version.

Decided to make a sub-plot where the heroes not only have to protect the codex but to search for the artefacts of the kaijudo civilizations before they could fall into the wrong hands. Scattered to unknown locations and new worlds to visit. Making things challenging for the heroes to handle. As for the ideas for the descendant plot, not to worry I have some ideas for that but wont give away spoilers. Just because Maleficent wont be around doesn't mean others cant fill in her spot to make some eveil scheme. Take care everyone!
