Chapter 56: The Sword of Fire

The Ebon Hawk followed the Dragonators to their home and in hopes to exchange some information, the team were amazed by such a large floating city in the sky and more dragon riders were sighted until the ship was guided towards the landing area. Riven and Sky were careful not to land too close to the dragons.

"Not a bad landing." Sky commented when he shut down the ship's engines.

Brandon would agree with the prince. "Yep, so let's go and meet the natives." They join the others as the group, Flora had to make sure Chatta stayed inside the ship for her safety.

"Chatta I don't want you to be seen by anyone, or risk someone like the Trix if they come here." Flora tells Chatta out of concern.

"Not to worry, Flora. Pixies can only be seen by children and only those with magic." Chatta explained to her as it meant she would be invisible to everyone else.

Taren raised an eyebrow while understanding what she was saying. "Guess that would make it safer if no one here knows she's there."

Flora was a little hesitant to put Chatta in danger but maybe safer to know she was close by. "Okay, but stay close and don't wonder off." Receiving a thanks from Chatta and joined the group ready to meet the people of Airlandis.

The group then disembarked the ship to meet the Dragonators waiting for them at the docks. Awed by the sight of their dragons but up cloes appear more like wyverns.

"Check out their dragons." Sky took a look at them, much more bigger and different to the ones they have back at the stables.

Brandon nods his head upon seeing the riders interact with their dragons in the same way as horses "They must be some sort of protectors of this place."

Ben was awed by how the city could stay up in the clouds, curious to how they built it until he noticed one of the dragons coming towards Mal and Taren. "Uh, guys, you might wanna back up. Flora saw one of them along with Chatta who yelped and took cover in Flora's hair out of fright.

Neither of them were unaware of the moment until they hear loud foot steps and a soft growl with the flow of nostrils sniffing. They turned around and froze for a moment in nervous of one of the dragons, Wingstorm if Taren remembered what it was called.

"Uh, nice… dragon…" Taren didn't know what to expect since this was the first time he ever came this close to a dragon. It was as though it was curious about them from the way it was sniffing them.

Mal nervously held her hands and not sure how to approach it.

"Hey, Wingstorm, give our new pals some space will ya." One of the Dragonators, Peak pats his hand on his dragon by the side. "Don't worry, he wont bite."

"Sorry about that, we just don't get many where we're from." Flora replied and also seemed nervous to be up close to them.

"Not to worry, we sort of handle things like these easily." Mal told him.

"Then why don't you stop using me as a shield?" Taren was annoyed when she was standing right behind his back as a human shield.

"Nothing personal… just that you seem to have that luck with dragons and also maybe with you-know-what." Mal referring to his other special ability and not say it out in public. They noticed the dragon seem to take a liking to them and also same for the others. Taren hesitated to slowly reach his hand out to it's snout.

"Well, it seems you have made a good impression on our dragons friend." The eldest member of the team came up to them, removing his helmet to reveal his long silver hair. "We appreciate the help back there and not common to find more people outside Airlandis. My name is Z'neth, I'm the leader of the Dragonators." Reached out his hand to welcome them.

The Eraklyon prince had to make a good impression upon their first contact. "Well in that case my name is Sky, prince of Eraklyon and leader of a group known as the Specialists, only me, Brandon and Riven are the known members here."

"Yeah, same here, my name is Taren which you probably got just now." Taren says, shaking his hand with his. "Also with me are Ben, and the one who was using me for cover is Mal."

Mal gave a flat look at the fellow keybearer. "Nothing personal, but not everyday to find dragons that don't wanna burn ya."

"That's enough you two." Flora stepped in before they argued further and decided to introduce herself to them. "Don't mind them, they're normally like that. And my name is Flora, it's a pleasure to meet you all."

"So this is where your people live." Sky asked them, since this place was unfamiliar to them from any known worlds in the Magic Dimension. But remembered that they were not in the Magic Dimension and in uncharted worlds.

Z'neth nodded to his question. "That's right, this is our home and all those who have survived the destruction of our world. Although I never heard of this place you came from."

Curious to know of what happened to this world, they may find some information of anything that might help them during their stay. But also perhaps explain of their origins in secret, the keybearers know they have to keep secrets of other worlds known to some for many reasons.

"I don't suppose we can speak to whoever is in charge of this place?" Ben asked them.

Z'neth nodded. "Yes, our father can answer your questions. We'll take you to him"

The group followed the Dragonators lead them through the city, allowing their new visitors to see the place before they walk inside.

"So might I ask where you are from? We never seen a craft like that since the Cataclysm." Apex asked them, wondering about their origins.

"Uh, hard to find at a great distance. Sorry this is our first time knowing about this city." Flora gave a response, which was half the truth. Curious to know about this event they called "The Cataclysm", possibly a name of event that had occurred to their world in the past. Their dragons were taken to the stables while the rest meet the Dragonators' father to meet with them.

Entering what appeared to be a study room with so many books and a man with a long grey beard, wearing the similar type of armor the Dragonators have but more brownish red with a yellow chest plate, carries a staff with a crystal attached to. What they noticed was his feet were not touching the ground, suspended in mid air.

"My children, it is good to see you returned." Hovering towards the Dragonators, noticing the new arrivals with them. "And who might these young ones be?"

"Friends who came and helped us, father." Z'neth introduced the Specialists and keybladers to their father. "Everyone, this is our father, Aaron. He's the head of the ruling council."

Taren decided to step in to introduce himself first to make a good impression. "Nice to meet you, my name is Taren Strife."

Aaron said nothing for a moment until he reached out his spare hand. "It is a pleasure to meet you, quite young to be far from home?"

Mal just shrugged her shoulders. "Don't worry, we've had some training to handle worse."

"Let's just say we're from someplace very far to find something of importance." Sky said, hoping they might have some answers.

"And what would that be, young one?" The chancellor inquired.

Unsure how to respond to that question when they had never seen the Kaiju artefacts or explain their origins.

"One of them we were told to find using a special tracer, said to be ancient and powerful." Ben told them.

"And some very dangerous villain wants to get his hands on them to cause a lot of trouble." Taren added.

"A clown? That's a new one. We usually fight off mutants like Dreadwing." Apex said.

"Trust us, this guy is not like anyone you met. But we did picked up its source nearby and hope to get it first." Ben knew how unpredictable Kefka can be in battle, but uncertain if he's brought the Trix with him like the last time.

"This might help to show what they might look like." Taren reaches into his bag to pull out an old looking journal to open the page he was looking for. "This was from our archives, it's said to be what these items look like but nothing much where they were hidden."

The chancellor took a moment to get a good look at what appear to be five objects the travellers were seeking, stroking his beard until he gave a response of the one that he spotted. "Hmm… yes, in fact I recognise one of these you seek." To show them which of them he was referring to, pointing to the illustration of a sword.

"The Sword of Fiery Catcclysm?" Mal reads from the written name of the artefact.

"Sounds pleasant." Riven said.

Now they know which of them to find, they needed to know if he's still in possession of it.

"That's the one you said to have?" Flora said.

Aaran gave a nod to her. "In my youth, we found this sword buried in the ruins, it was thought to have been a relic when I was a young Dragonator myself."

"I didn't think we have one of those here all those years." Peak said, as he had never heard about this.

"Father, why didn't you mention this to us?" Amod asks him.

"It was put away for security and also should anyone such as Dreadwing gets his hands on such a weapon."

"Dreadwing?" Brandon asked, obvious with a name like could mean trouble

"A tyrant who wants nothing more than to take over Airlandis and also our arch enemy." Z'neth responds.

"Sounds like any other villain we run into." Taren commented when suddenly they hear an alarm blaring.

"Alert! All Dragonators, scouts have reported a horde of Gremwings have crossed the security perimeter and coming towards Airlandis! This is a D-3 alert, go to dragon defense deploytment now."

"Well you're about to find out, that's obviously Dreadwing planning another attack." Nora proclaimed

The Chancellor gave the order to his children. "Dragonators, defend Airlandis!"

"Let us help, we're trained for situations like this." Sky offered them their support to help and the least they can do help.

"Alright then, watch your backs." Z'nath accepted their help. The Dragonators scrambled into action, running out of the library to join the battle.

"What if Kefka is already here like last time?" Mal had a thought from the previous encounter.

Whether or not if he was already aware of their plans was uncertain, but could be after the sword.

Sky had an idea and turned to Taren. "We gotta make sure if the sword is here, one of us has to make sure it out of the wrong hands."

"Got it."

"I'll go with him." Flora chose to stay behind to help him. "It be better to have someone to lend a hand."

Sky approved of the idea and no doubt Taren wouldnt mind it. "Okay, the rest of us go and help the Dragonators, it be better to split in teams."

"Chancellor, do you know where it would be locked up for protection?" Taren asked the chancellor who nods his head.

"Yes, I will lead the way. We must hurry." Hovering to the opposite direction while the rest go and join their new friends into battle.

"Hey, wait for me!" Chatta flew after them.

Many flyers went to their respective dragons and taken flight to defend their city from the Dramen forces, already spotted large numbers of Gremwings and two large dragons, such as Fryte, but the other was much larger and red, rode by their leader Dreadwing himself.

"Onwards, my warriors and we shall take Airlandis!" The leader proclaimed as he rides on his dragon steed as the dragon let out a mighty roar.

Another dragon with bluish scales flew beside him, on it's back was a female mutant with cyan skin and curved crest over the back of her head. "Do you suppose this Kefka will keep his part of the bargain?"

"I do not trust him, but if this pan of his works than I shall spare his life… for now." Dreadwing made certain to keep a close eye on their new 'ally' for the time being until his usefulness has ceased. "Noctorna, proceed with the first strike!"

"As you command, Dreadwing!" She obeyed his orders and commanded her dragon to fly onwards to lead the squad to attack the city. Fryte followed the same but towards another part of the city.

The Dragonators were geared up with their dragons, the Specialists and the Keybladers who caught up with them in time for the battle.

"That's a lot of them." Ben said.

"Think we should get the ship ready?" Riven suggested to use its cannons on them.

But Brandon did not think it was a good idea. "Too many of them and could hit one of the dragonators."

"Then it's time to show them what we're made off." Sky pulled out his lightsabers for combat.

"Better bring out the reinforcements." Ben held out his digivice to call out his partner and summoned her keyblade, Mal did the same and the Specialists did the same. Summoning their Digimon and Titans to battle.

A group Gremwings and the Dramen sent by Dreadwing spotted them and began their assault. The heroes stood their ground to hold their stance, Mal and Ben being the only know users for long range attacks used Wind and Thunder magic to attack to take out most of the flyers, some of the Dramen soldiers were caught by the powerful wind and blasted away from their feet.

"Petite Fire!" Gabumon shoots out a blue flame out of his mouth at one of the attackers in the face, startling the mutant who was swept off his feet by a pair of vines tangled before he slammed into the floor.

Brandon saw a family in danger and gave an order to Metagolem to help them "we need to ge them to safety!"

The Titan followed his command and swatted the Gremwings with its broad rock fists, Brandon aided him with his new upgraded sword, unlike the original was slimmer and made into the broad sword, pulling it out of its sheath to reveal it's emerald highlights to clash with one of their bladed claws, forces him off and created a green energy wave on the mutants. The family were grateful for their help while awed of their amazing powers. Brandon came to his Titan's side to see them unharmed. "It's alright, we're here to help. You just get out of here." Doing as h suggested and left after giving their thanks. Brandon was impressed of his new sword's power, admiring its workmanship. "They weren't kiddin, that Cid guy sure knows his work."

Before he could join up with the others, Metagolem was tackled by a large dragon that swooped in from the side and forcing the stone giant into the wall and wrestled with the beast.

"Metatgolem!" Brandon saw his Titan was in trouble. Before he could help, Brandon was taken by surprise when Fryte jumped on him, shooting his gauntlet at the Specialist. The squire repelled the blasts with his sword using an energy shield.

Fryte landed on the ground, aiming his blaster towards the squire while his dragon steed fought against the Titan. "You shall regret the day crossing paths with the army of Lord Dreadwing with your magic, human!"

"Yeah, tell me something I don't know, ugly." Brandon retorted and saw more of his enforcers backing him up. Metagolem was able to toss the dragon it was wrestling to the ground and marched forward to help its summoner, but Brandon realised he was outnumbered and not want to waste too much energy. "Sorry I can't stay longer. See ya!" Pulls out a smoke bomb and threw it to the ground, creating an explosion and a large smoke to make his escape. Calling his Titan back into the medallion before making a run.

Fryte coughed and was unable to see through the smoke, but he could not allow the human to escape. "After him!" But they were taken out by surprise by a howl and a large white wolf.

"Fox Fire!" Gabumon, now as Garurumon blasted them with Ben riding his back. Ben came just in time to help Brandon until the large dragon took flight and ready to attack them.

"Freeze!" Ben shouted aimed his keyblade firing an ice spell to surround them and their dragon with blocks of ice.

"Get on!" Ben reached out his hand to Brandon to help him onto Garurumon's back, making their escape while Fryte and his remaining forces were still standing. Not wanting to stay around for long, they had help from Summit and his dragon to cause a distraction.

"Are you alright?" Summit asked him while also curious of where the giant wolf came from.

Brandon nods. "Yeah, guess I underestimated those creeps."

"Does this usually happen?" Ben pondered.

"Mostly yes." Summit stated from his experience with his arch foe. "With Dreadwing's forces this spread out means he's plotting something." They see Fryte and his forces recovered, only to fly to another direction than to pursue them.

"Not sure what they're up to, but Ingot a feeling it can't be good." Ben had a bad feeling about it. "Go and help the others, we'll catch up."

Summit nodded. "Dragon Flyz, Maximise!" Artifical wings extended from his armor to propel him into the air to join the others while flying alongside his

"Let's go bud."

"Right." Garurumon followed them to aide the others.

They arrived to see the Dragon Flyz having some trouble, Garurumon let out another attack on the Gremwings, helping out Z'neth who was firing from his gauntlet in flight, Riptor, shooting away any Gremwings and mutants that were in sight for firing. They flew away thanks to the help of their new allies.

Giving his thanks for their help. "Thanks for the help."

"Any sign of Dreadwing?" Summit asked his brother.

"No, but can tell he's close."

"Don't worry, we'll offer our help to stop him." Ben assured him to offer their aide.

Apex flipped backwards to avoid a punch from one of the mutants after they caught her by surprise, pulling back her feet and kicked him from the chin to make him lose his balance in the air and fell to the ground. Her dragon aided her to take out the other mutants when she spotted the blonde teen with an unknown fighter fighting beside him, they seem to have this covered up but decided to help out as they had no knowledge of them.

"Come on, Blaze." Both Apex and Blaze then descend onto the enemy.

Meanwhile, the Eraklyon prince bounced off the blasts with hislight sabers, ran towards them and cut them down, only to hold back to not cut in half with knowing how strong the beams were. But they should be fine if receive treatment to the wounds. His Titan was able to take some down with his sword and stayed close to his user.

They were almost surrounded by those with wings until Apex and Blaze came to their help, swatting them with his tail and larger size.

Sky did not expected this but gave a soft smile. "Thanks."

"Thought you needed a help." Apex said. "Who's this?"

Turning to his Titan she was asking about. "His name's Caliban, not much of a talker, long story." Calling him back to the medallion, surprising Apex of what he did.

"Hope on then, I'll give you a ri-" Apex stopped from her sentence to see two figures from the hallways. "Wait, I see something."

Sky also noticed them but too far away from their location. "Let's go check it out."

She nods and told her dragon steed to wait for them until they get back, making their way to the entrance and stopped to see Dreadwing and his two soldiers.

"Dreadwing." Apex recognised him when able to get a look from the corner.

"That's a face only a mother can love." Sky shuddered by the sight of his face.

"Yeah, no kidding. But what's he up to?"

"This plan of yours better work, for your sake." They hear Dreadwing speaking with someone, giving his threats for whatever they were planning.

"Oh, relax. I got you in here without being seen without a hitch."

Something about that voice sounded strangely familiar to Sky, uncertain where he heard it before.

"Who could be working with Dreadwing to get passed the gaurds?" Apex wanted to know when she knew they saw his dragon and couldn't have slipped passed them. Keeping themselves out of sight as Dreadwing's forces make their way pass them without noticing them.

And with them was someone Sky immediately recognised and hoped not to see again. 'It's him!' Sky was holding back the urge to yell when he recognised the psychopathic clown anywhere, he'd never forget that laugh and that bizarre outfit. He had heard from the keybearers of what he was capable of and more reason to be very cautious than the Trix.

"Who's that with him?" Apex never seen him before but must be smart to get past the guards.

"Someone very dangerous." Sky answered.

"The artefact should be here and once I have it, this place will be yours as promised." Kefka assured him with a casual response.

Despite his success of passing through the Dragon Flyz and Airlandis' forces, Dreadwing was still sceptical but curious of what was this artefact that was important for him to have.

"And what should we do if these keyblade users you spoke of? According to Fryte, they may be stronger than the Dragonflyz ? How would you suppose we deal with them?" Nocturna questioned him. Not escaping Sky's ear to know the blue skinned humanoid female mention the word 'keyblade' could only mean they know about his.

"Hmm, you got a point." Kefka gave a thinking pose and a sly smirk on his face. "But not to worry, once I get my hands on this artefact, they will have a lot to worry than just us. And just to make sure no one follows us." Turning around to face the opposite direction, he shoots out a blast of lightning and struck the ceiling. The impact created an explosion and caused debris to fall, covering their path, which also prevents Sky and Apex to follow.

"No!" Sky tried to go after them, but was pulled back by Apex to stop him.

"Don't, you'll be crushed!" She told him, able to catch a glimpse of Kefka to give a mocking wave and smile, indicating he knew they were following them.

Sky sighed and was let go, now needed to warn the others. "We gotta tell the others. Is there another way?"

She nodded but still uncertain of what happened. "Sure, it's just down the other side."

"Great, we need to warn Taren and Flora, your father could be in danger." Not wasting time if and called for the rest of their team.

Sky contacted his friends through his gauntlet. "Anyone read me? This is sky, we got big trouble."

"So this is the place?" Taren asked as he and Flora followed the chancellor to the archives that hold the relics of their past.

"Yes, it is guarded for a reason should anyone such as Dreadwing tempted to steal." Aaron feared for any that were a weapon of destruction and possibly start the next collapse. Approaching a guarded door with a pair of soldiers on standby. They see the chancellor and opened the door for him and the guests to enter.

Taren and Flora walked inside after him and found many artefacts, fossils and ancient technologies in protective casing and suspended zero gravity. And one of those that caught his attention was a sword, it had a yellow fuller with the edges orange, the guard was gold with crescent curves up and downwards with three small red gems embedded to each side. But the mark on the upper part of the guard had the emblem of the Fire Civilization.

"That must be it." Flora was certain after recognising the sword from the journal.

Taren nodded to agree with her. "That's the Sword of Fiery Cataclysm alright. This feels a lot easier than I thought."

"Then let's make it more interesting, shall we?"

Taren instantly recognised that voice and immediately brought out his keyblade to face him, Flora stood ready with Chatta close to her. "Kefka!"

Before the guards could do anything, they were struck by a powerful blast of magic and collapsed to the floor, Kefka stood with his hands reached out and shot forward to grab the startled Aaron, restraining him with one arm and held up his freed hand with a ball of bright fire. "Now be smart and let good ol' Kefka take the sword, or someone will get really hurt!"

"You won't get away with this!" Aaron spoke in defiance, not afraid of the situation he was in. only to receive a comical laugh from the clown themed villain.

"Please, I've been getting away with things like this long before any of you were even born." Kefka remarked and turned his attention to Taren and Flora. "Don't try anything, stupid."

Unable to risk harm to the chancellor, Taren reluctantly had no other choice but to do as he says. But an idea came to mind and decided to give it a shot. "Fine, we'll do it." Giving a fake sigh as to make it seem like he was giving up.

Flora looked to her boyfriend in shock. "What? Taren we can't."

"Are you crazy?! You heard what would happen if he-" Taren cut off Chatta's sentence.

"Flora, don't plant any ideas. Got it?" Turning to face her from the side and gave a quick wink that only for her to notice.

The Fairy of nature was at first confused until she realised what he was trying to say and went along with it. She grabs her back and tosses it over as they slowly stepped aside while not giving away what was going on, hoping his plan will work

Kefka smiles and pushes the elder with no longer need of him as a hostage, eager to reach out and grab the sword. "For once you made the right choice, now I'll be off and leave the mess for you to deal with." But as he was within arms reach, plant vines suddenly sprouted out of the ground and tangled with him. "Wha?! Hey!" Kefka grunted and rip up the vines to break free but finding them growing faster than to keep up with the growing vines. He looked around and spotted one of the Pixies, snickering at him with a jar of seeds, realising they tricked him and did not take it so well.

"What's the matter, Kefka? A little tied up?" Taren gave a mocking joke. "You think we were really gonna let you have the sword? Sorry, but we'll be leaving with this.

"Leaving so soon?" Everyone turned to find Dreadwing present with his forces behind him and noticed the two teens with the chancellor. Chatta yelped at the sight of his face and ducked behind Flora for protection "And to think I was expecting your foes to be… older."

"Not expected to be a pair of children." Nocturna sharing her doubts about about them.

Kefka rolled his eyes and was easily freed using his magic. "Trust me, they're no ordinary kids, especially the redhead."

"Let me guess, you must be Dreadwing?" Taren presumed by the look of him being the leader. Holding out his keyblade ready to protect the chancellor alongside Flora. He can see by the look of this mutant's expression to have the aura of a leader, and a tyrant without needing that terrifying look

"Very observant, boy. And also the future ruler of Airlandis." Dreadwing proclaims. "Kefka has provided us help to sneak into the city, and now I shall claim what is mine."

"You will not succeed, Dreadwing. The Dragon Flyz will stop you!" Aaron said with confidence.

"True, they will not risk their beloved father's life." The mutants aimed their gauntlets to threaten his safety. "And I will be taking that sword as well."

"Wait, are you trying to betray me?" Kefka questioned the winged tyrant's motives. Nocturna aimed her weapon to him from attempting anything. "No fair! I do the backstabbing here! Besides I got you here with my help, isn't that enough?" However he soon realised that he let it slip of the 'backstabbing' part and mentally groaned.

Dreadwing chuckles. "And you did exactly as I had hoped, but after seeing the sword up close, it be fitting for a ruler such as I to use."

"Guess this wasn't as what Kefka had in mind." Flora whispers to Taren, nodding to agree with her and have another situation. No doubt he left out some information about the sword's power and prefer to keep it that way.

"I might have an idea, but it's a long shot." Taren hoped this would work while the two were bickering with each other.

Aaron agreed to go along whatever the boy had in mind while the two foes were arguing over the sword. Hoping to warn the others of the situation. "Whatever it is you have, we cannot allow them to succeed."

"You have no idea what you're messing with, bat ears. I'm taking that sword! You can have the city for all I care." Kefka pointed his finger at Dreadwing's chest.

Growling over the insult by the outsider that dared challenger him. "That was until you didn't warn us of how strong these keybladers you mentioned, or somehow use creatures to do their bidding."

"Obviously you were hoping this would work in your favour." The green skinned female obviously never trusted him.

Seeing as this wasn't going his way, Kefka would make short work of them. "Guess our little partnership came to an end then. You made a big mistake."

"For once we sre in an agreement." Dreadwing growls, ready to challenge him. "Once this is over I will take the sword and deal with those meddlesome fools."

"Heads up!"

They heard Taren's yell and suddenly a green smoke engulfed the room, causing them to cough and unable to see anything through this mist. Dreadwing realised this was a trick and brought his wings to blow the mist to clear it. Only for him to find Taren standing right before him with a smirk and waved at him. "Hi there." The tyrant was surprised for a moment until he lashed out by throwing a claw at the boy while Kefka took a leap in the air with his scythe to make a horizontal slash from behind.

Taren had a guess they would both attack at once, he jumps to grasp the mutant's arm, lifting his feet up and propelled them into Dreadwing's chest and shoots out balls of fire and light at Kefka's face. The two were thrown in the opposite of directions and slammed into the walls, Dreadwing coughed while his chest armor took the damage by the impact. Unexpected of such a move from a young boy, and he would not forget it.

"Lord Dreadwing! Are you hurt?" Nocturna and the osldiers rushed to his aid if he received any injuries but appear to be mostly unharmed.

"I still breath." Dreadwing growls. "That boy will pay!"

Kefka pulled himself out of the debris, feeling the bruise on his face and unable to believe that happened. 'That power… it feels… familiar some how.' Using his magic to heal himself and gets back up on his feet. "Now you believe me when I said not to underestimate them?"

They did not say anything else and realised the three were gone… and so was the sword. "GAH! The sword!"

"They must have used the smoke to distract us, they cannot have gotten far. Find them!" Dreadwing ordered his troops. Kefka run off ahead of them to get a head start.

"I didn't think that would work! But they sure were fooled!" Chatta was relieved to be out of danger, at least for now while they were running with the security guards joining them.

Flora agreed with the pixie and now only hope to get the chancellor out of danger so she can go and help Taren. "You should go someplace safe, I'll help Taren."

"Yes of course, and thank you for your assistance." Giving his thanks and leaves with his guards.

"Anyone read me? This is Sky, Flora? Taren? You there?"

Hearing Sky's voice and to his call. "Sky? This is Flora. We run into some trouble. Kefka is here and he's after the artefact."

"So it was him I saw. No doubt he was using those Dramen to draw out attention elsewhere to get it." Sky confirmed and was on the same page. "Where's Taren? Is the Chancellor safe?"

"He's safe, and Taren would no doubt keep them busy until we regroup with you."

"And get the flaming sword out of here."

That was their main objective, suddenly she stopped to find a pair of Dramen soldiers blocking her path, when they spotted her and instantly prepared for the attack, but Flora was ready when she transformed into her Winx form for battle and created a force field to propel their attacks. Using her powers of Nature to create a tendril of vines to swat them to the wall like an arm and held them firmly to allow her and Chatta to pass.

But suddenly she was tackled from the back, flying in mid-air to find Nocturna who snuck up on her and now struggling to get her off. "You won't be so cocky now, little girl."

"Leave her alone, you bully!" Chatta tried to help her friend, but was swatted away by Nocturna's wing without her knowing she was there. This made Flora mad towards the sinister female mutant for hurting her Pixie.

"Cocky, maybe, but doesn't mean I'm weak!" She shoots a magical beam from her hands towards her opponent's face, cries out by the bright light and grabbed by a set of roots to tangle with her arms and legs, sending her flying across the hall while wrapped up in plant vines.

Flora was relieved to be unhurt pulls herself up and saw another shadow, thinking it was another and was ready this time. But to her relief it was Taren who just came to find her with some of the mutants taken out.

"Hey, looks like you handled them well." Taren was relieved and also amazed.

She smiled with confidence and put her hands on her hips. "Sure did."

"Yeah, she beat them up by herself!" Chatta cheered.

"Chatta, are you okay? Did she hurt you?" Flora felt bad for not checking on her sooner. The pixie landed on her palm and didn't seem hurt.

"Nah, well maybe a little but not as much as she is."

Taren was amazed by how she had handled them well without some help or her Titan, maybe that training did paid off. "Well, that's one thing to worry less and should get out of here now we have the sword."

Flora nods her head but realised he didn't have it with him. "Don't you have it with you?"

"Me?" No, I had to make sure Dreadwing and his pals didn't chase ya." Taren explained. "Don't you have it? It wasn't in the case when the smoke cleared."

Baffled and then turned to worry when neither of them had the Sword in their possession. "So wait a moment, if you don't have it. Flora doesn't, then who does?" Chatta made a valid question. And only then did it hit the two with a terrible realization of who has it.

And they had a very bad feeling about it.

Kefka strolled through the corridors to find himself outside to see the entire city in the midst of a battle with Dreadwing's forces. "Looks like I haven't missed the fun. But something's missing." Tapping his chin in a thinking pose and acting like he had an idea. "I Know! I'll use this!" Reached into his cape and drew out the Sword of Fiery Cataclysm in his hand to hold.

Stolen the sword when the smoke gave him the advantage to take it before anyone knew and now has what he needs to set up his plans. "Too bad Dreadwing isn't the kind of guy to work with, but he served his purpose."

Chuckling and held the blade in his hands to admire the craftsmanship. "I know just what to do with this one."

"Hold it right there, Kefka!"

Making a frowned face when he turned around to find the blonde prince with his lightsabers active and one of the Dragonators who was with him earlier.

"Well, well long time no see, kiddo. Still mad how I kicked your butt back in Downland?" Mocking his foe with a sense of humor, much to Sky's annoyance of being reminded of their first battle.

Remembering all too well and was not so fond of that moment. "Apex, whatever you do, keep your guard up."

"Got it." Ariming her wrist directly at Kefka to follow Sky's advice. They find Taren and Flora caught up with them.

Taren summoned his keyblade and pointed it towards Kefka. "Hand over the sword, Kefka. It's over as you'll be surrounded"

It was obvious to Kefka they quickly caught on to his plan, but doesn't seem concerned about the situation. "By the time they show up it will be too late. This city is going to go up in flames!" Lifting the sword above his head with both hands, the sword begins to glow in a mixture of orange/red as he is awakening its power.

Realizing what his intentions were and trying to stop him. "No, don't!" Too late as Kefka now summoned a creature as he made a horizontal swing.

"Flametropus!"

The trail of flames then grew bigger and bigger, a large white vortex opened outside for something very, very big to come through. The heroes paused and saw something emerge through.

"We should be there by now! We can't let him take the sword!" Brandon ran as he could when they got word of Kefka in possession of the artifact.

"What makes this sword so important for him to get his hands on and risk working with Dreadwing?" Amod questioned the Specialist.

THUMP

A thunderous stomp shook the ground they stood on, almost like a mini-quake, followed by a loud explosion coming from the building they were on their way to when a large shape can be seen through the smoke. The dragons pulled back and flapped their wings when they were startled by something they had never seen before.

"Uh, does it have something to do with that?" Peak pointed his finger to the towering monster.

Mal stares with her jaw drop and simply nods her head. "Uh…. yep."

Both the keybearers and the Specialists shared a mutual shock and astonishment to witness something this big. The monster that was summoned was enormous, dark green rock-like skin, two horns curved upwards from the sides of its head and another smaller pair curling downwards, it's eyes were pale yellow and what made this thing so terrifying was the areas of its body show cracks, glowed by the immense heat of the hot molten lava.

This kaiju was a walking volcano.

Making an thunderous roar and began its rampage by destroying everything in its path, the civilians in the area ran in fear of the monster's rage.

"Where did that thing come from?!" Riven was surprised by the size of that thing.

"No doubt Kefka's doing! But we gotta do something before it destroys the city!" Ben saw it as their priority. "Let's go!" Commands Garurumon to take on the best.

"Right behind ya!" Mal then pulled out her digivice with her partner ready.

"Palmon, digivolve to… Togamon!" Transforming into her Champion level and now ready for a fight as they run towards the Kaiju. However she believes they may need more help to take this thing down.

"Dragon Flyz, take on the monster!" Z'neth called out to his team.

The Flametropus spewed out flames and chased after Taren, Sky, Flora, and Apex, unable to confront Kefka when he made his escape

"Does this happen a lot?" Apex asked them.

"Well, maybe two or three times give or take." Taren recalled the times of being chased by giant monsters and Grimm while running for their lives to avoid being stepped on and burned. "But obviously this is his way of causing a distraction to take the sword with him."

"Then you gotta go after him, we'll take care of this one!" Sky suggested as the only solution.

"And how are we supposed to deal with that?" Apex asked, then her answer came when Garurumon blasted it in the shoulder with Foxfire, drawing its attention towards the Digimon with Metagolem running towards it for a tackle.

"I managed to put a tracking spell on him before he snuck away, but won't last very long." Flora pursued him to go after Kefka. "Taren, we can't waste this chance. Come on!"

Knowing they had to stop him before it's too late. "Alright, let's go." Summons Agumon to help them to follow Flora.

Zenek landed on the ground to join them. "What is going on? Where's Dreadwing?"

"Dreadwing might have been a decoy for Kefka to get the real prize." Sky explained.

"Dreadwing? Used by someone else?" Zenek would have loved to see the look on his foe's face of betrayal. "Talk about irony when he's the one to use others for his purpose."

"Much as I like that idea, brother, but right now we have bigger problems." Apex reminded him of the giant monster rampaging their city while battling with the Digimon and Titans. The Dragon Flyz swooped around

"If we weaken it, then the Kaiju will be sent back to where it came from." Sky remembered from his training and what the Winx told them when they had their encounter with the Kaiju.

The Flametropus proceeds to spew a stream of lava onto Metagolem, the intense heat was too much for the large Titan and reached the limit to remain in the material realm. Brandon felt a drain of energy with the defeat of his Titan, not liking the feel of it in the situation.

"Brandon, you okay?" Sky was worried for his squire and friend.

The brunette specialist nodded and gave a groaning resoone. "Uhh, yeah, I'm good. Guess Metagolem took alot out of that attack

The giant Kaiju roars and bashes its fists into the ground to create a shockwave while the Dragonators surrounded it, firing away onto the head and face as possible with their blasters to keep it distracted.

"Lindorm, go for the legs!" Riven commended Lindorm as he joined in to go for the knees, they were able to put some effort to damage the layer of its skin for laver to gush out, but not enough.

Growing more annoyed, the Flametropus was ready to spew out hot magma on them until Ben used Water magic to prevent it. Some of the water splashed onto its face, affected by the cold water, giving both Garurumon and Togemon to attack.

"Foxfire!"

"Prickly Bang Bang!"

The Flametropus took some hits and raised its arm to block the blue beam, growling in frustration and not a sign of damage to the skin.

"It's not working, this thing is tougher than we thought." Brandon turned to Mal and Ben for any ideas. "Is there anyway you can try to send it back to its realm?"

"Easier said than done! We need to weaken it first to banish a monster that big!" Learning the spell Taren used on another creature a while ago, she had been studying the summoning magic and rituals should they come across summoning creatures in battle. For something this big will not be so easy given how powerful the Kaiju is.

"Then we need to stall it long enough until Taren and Flora get the sword back from Kefka!" Sky suggested, moves out of the path from the giant foot to avoid being stepped on. The dragons flew in and dropped the flash bombs to startle the monster, granting the keybearers and the large Titans to tackle it to the ground and hoping to stall some time. Fortunately there was no further damage when it fell, and slowly began to rise up until Mal used her magic to bind it down.

But not sure how long.

"Hm, no doubt Dreadwing will be mad, but if he takes over this city a little redecorating won't hurt." Kefka mused while watching the battle until the heroes knocked it down, but knowing the strength of the Flametropus will give them a lot of work. "It was a stroke of luck to know the name of that Kaiju. "Now to make my leave-AH!"

He was suddenly struck in the back by a bolt of plasma, but received no damage using his magical aura, finding himself once again confronted by the irritated Dreadwing and his dragon steed beside him. "Uh, hey… Dreadwing." Gulps and sees the dragon growls, ready to burn him to ashes by w simple word.

Dreadwing growls and bares his sharp teeth at his possible former 'ally' for the chaos he has unleashed. "Now I understand what makes that sword so important. But to destroy the city by my right to claim?"

"Now, now! You did it first, Dreadwing. I only reacted in self-defense and had every right to keep it to myself." Kefka argued to give a reason for Dreadwing to calm him down. "Although personally I may have done it anyway."

Blackheart growls, catching Kefka's attention and deciding to go for another solution. "OKay, how's this for an alternative? I let the big fella cause a little rampage to cause some damage and send him away with this sword, giving you the city that's open for the attack. How's that?"

Thinking over the proposal of his claim and still not willing to trust, but better to keep his word. "Very well. Then we have reached an agreement. For now."

"Not gonna happen!" Taren arrived with Flora in time to stop them.

"The boy again." Dreadwing growls. "You will regret crossing my path, boy."

"Trust me, out of all these brats he's one of the most annoying." Kefka groans. "Why don't you ever let some of us have fun?"

Unable to know whether to be utterly shocked or angered by his response in a lack of care. "Fun? You helped a psychotic god to tear the Earth to shreds!"

"Yeah, not very nice!" Chatta agreed and while horrified of such an awful thing to do.

Kefka let out a groan and rolled his eyes. "Well, duh! That's how I liked it and had such a time back in the good ol' days. And what I have for the relics is something big. Bigger than any of you twerps can ever imagine than what Darkar has planned for the-oops! Almost gave away the spoiler."

Neither Taren nor Flora had any clue as to what he was on about, but whatever he was about to say could be something important if Darkar was part of this.

"Thanks for the tip, but you two are up against us, but let's make it even." Summons Agumon to battle them.

"Yeah, not so much." Kefka decided to make it interesting and used his magic to enhance Blackheart's power, flapping his wings to feel the power flowing. "A little something to give you a boost."

Dreadwing says nothing and nods his head, climbs onto his dragon's back and is ready to face them.

"Ok, that's new." Taren wasn't sure if this had some sort of bond magic, but clearly the dragon looks stronger than it appears. Giving no time to react as the dragon released a burst of fire from the jaws, forcing them to run for cover while Flora brought up a barrier with Taren to help her.

"Consider that a payback for ruining my fun on Earth!" Kefka mockingly laughs and watches as they are cornered by the fire breathing dragon and wait for his turn to strike.

"Yes, Blackheart! Obliterate them with your fire!" Dreadwing grins and enjoying the struggle of his enemies.

"No fair! Why do villains always cheat?" Chatta muttered while terrified of the scary dragon trying to burn them alive.

Taren thought of getting Agumon to digivolve, but knew even as Greymon he wasn't a match for Kefka from their last battle. But an idea struck and he knew it was risky to do. "Flora, I got an idea but you got to trust me."

Flora would always trust him, but hoped for this idea of his work. "Ok, but do it fast!"

Taren used a Wind spell to disperse the flame of the dragon and forced them back, giving him the space needed and put on the gauntlet.

Kefka had no idea what he was up to, but what surprised him was the glove the redhead was wearing. 'No way! Is that what I think it is?'

"Tatsurion, the Unchained!"

Performing the same summoning from his first try out and bringing forth Tatsurion through the portal. And like before, he was not so pleased about being summoned.

Flora was astonished that Taren had performed a summoning ritual, but another Kaiju of all creatures. This creature had the same aura from the Flametropus, but also another that was all too familiar to her.

"Again I am taken." Tatsurion growls and glares at the nervous Taren. "Where am I now?!"

"Hey, Tatsurian, right? Remember me?" Taren chuckled nervously.

"You know each other?" Chatta asked him.

"Long story."

"Another of these creatures?" Dreadwing pondered.

Even Kefka was surprised and had not seen this one before.

The Kaiju then noticed them, making Flora back away while Chatta was shivering in fear of him, fully aware of what they are and the history between his Civilization and theirs from the previous war. "A fairy? Why am I not surprised." He then takes notice of the small dino that appeared to be a young hatchling beside the human. He was not certain if this creature was summoned like him into battle, but his scent doesn't match those of his kind, or any dragon. "And you brought a hatchling to battle? He looks too small."

"Hey!" Agumon yelled.

"First that dino, now a Kaiju Dragon? That won't do you much good, kid." Kefka was not bothered by how many they brought, he could take them all out as he had the Sword in his grip.

The Kaiju's eyes widened in shock as he was wielding his hand and couldn't believe it. "It cannot be… the Sword of Fiery Cataclysm. It has been lost for centuries."

Taren needed to gain Tatsurion's support and give a quick update on the situation. "Listen, this guy is a major threat and that sword's the real deal. We're trying to find the other four before he does, but if he gets all of them, thousands of creatures like you from your world will be enslaved to his will!"

"And if he gets the others, who knows what terror he or the Trix will bring. You have to help us to get it back." Flora pleaded to him to prevent any innocent creatures being forced against their will.

Kefka let out a mocking laugh over their attempt to reason with him. "Like that brainless beast can stop me, let alone do what you say."

The dragon heard the insult and growled with rage. Made up his mind to challenge this strange fleshling who dared challenge him. "Never tell me me can't." He leapt in the air to pounce on Blackheart, only for the dragon to flap his wings and take to the air with the tail swatted him back down. Landed beside Taren and Agumon, the trio were thrown against the wall but luckily Tatsurion's larger form took the blow.

Chatta groans. "Ouch."

"Not so easy when you have the weaklings to fight your battles." Kefka mocks them and assumes this will be easy.

Taren glared at him and got up, as Agumon was ready for a fight they were suddenly hurled over on Tatsurion's back. This surprised the redhead to find he was willing to ride him, watches as he hurls a chain from his gauntlet like a whip and snared around the dragon's long neck.

Blackheart then propelled itself in the air, inky to be yanked by the chain and plummets to the ground. Dreadwing was forced to disembark his steed and suspended in the air, his anger had risen of some lowly beast dare to strike his prized dragon.

"You lowly beast!" Dreadwing roared and fired a barrage of plasma bolts at them with Kefka beside him to strike lightning. But they were intercepted by Flora's nature magic, creating a wall of vines to take the blow and another to swat the dragon in the face to interrupt its attack.

Appreciating her help and turned to his partner. "Agumon, ready?"

"Right!" Agumon jumped off Tatsurion's back, glowing as he digivolves. "Agumon, digivolve to… Greymon!"

Watching the small creature suddenly grow to his size, Tatsurion . "A creature that evolved?"

"He's a Digimon, a completely different creature to yours." Taren explained to him but had no time for that at the moment. "We gotta change tactics, you're smaller, but faster and Greymon is heavy but has firepower to add against this overgrown lizard." Giving some advice to the creatures. "It's like the old phrase, bob and-"

"Bob and Weave is not my name!" Tatsurion growled, shutting Taren up to take the hint.

Kefka blasts them using lightning, but Tatsurion evades the attack and climbs onto the wall. Oblivious to either Kefka or Dreadwing to notice Greymon charging towards them at a ramming speed, forcing the two to notice and split up while Tatsurion lashed out at Blackheart across the chest. Roaring in anger and forced to back up to gain some distance.

"Chatta, go somewhere safe to hide." Flora instructs her for her safety and pulls out her medallion. Preparing to join in to help them. "Appear Ariel!" Summoning the air elemental spirit into the battle. "Ariel, let's help them out." The Titan nods and obeyed, combining their nature abilities to creature a vortex of wind and leafs to blast the surprised Dreadwing off his feet, unable to maintain stability when he was caught in the twister, this gave Flora the chance to shoot a magical beam to send him thrown out of the building.

Kefka had no idea what happened and tried to see through the wind, suddenly the sword in his hand was snatched from his hand by a vine. "The sword!"

Finding out that it was none other than Flora when she snuck up on him with Chatta snickering and giving him a taunting eye look. The scythe-wielding fiend glared daggers at them and tempted to retrieve it before stepping away from the Digimon fighting Dreadwing's dragon.

Blackheart was fighting to gain dominance over Greymon as the two exchanged blows until the Digimon clubbed him with his fist into the face and spun around to bash his tail against him by force to the edge of the building. Tatusion then his wrist, the gauntlet suddenly fired rockets towards the dragon. The rockets explode upon impact, destroying the ground to force the dragon into a retreat from the battle.

Realizing this was against his favor, Kefka decided to make his escape to avoid being caught.

This surprised Taren to learn something new from the Kaiju. "Uhh… you have rockets? Quick question, why didn't you do that SOONER?!"

"They are a… last resort." Tatsurion shyly admitted when knowing he would have done so in the previous battle. He then lifts Taren up from his back to the ground. The moment of anger and hate were replaced with respect and approval from the Kaiju. "I must say, Keybearer, you have a warrior spirit. For one so small, and weak, and lacking claws, or horns, or fangs."

"Hey, keyblade? Remember?" Taren resisted the urge to twitch upon being called weak and small. Ignoring Chatta's snickering which he can hear behind him. "But you'll find I'm full of surprises."

Tatsurion nodded and can see the fire in him. "Then I am pleased to battle alongside a wielder of the keyblade once again for as long as you last. And also the one known as Greymon."

Hearing those words made Taren smile to have a new friend and ally willing to fight alongside them. "Thanks… Bob." Not sure why, but sounded right and… strangely familiar to say it. And to find out he fought alongside the keyblade masters was a startling discovery, was it one of the previous generations he knew that met the Kaiju?

Or someone else?

Hearing that nickname giving to Tatsurion made him groan in annoyance. "Ugh, you remind me of someone I once knew."

"Wait. Where's Kefka?" Flora noticed he was nowhere in sight.

"He must have ran off." Taren could not believe they let him escape, but had other problems at the moment.

"Uh, guys, shouldn't we use the sword to…uh, I dunno…. Send the monster away?!" Chatta brought up the very thing they had come to get the sword

The Flametropus boke free from the restraints and back on its feet, they continue their efforts to wear it down. They took cover behind buildings and pillars to avoid the molten lava flowing out of its jaws until it ceased. The parts of the building were affected by the heat and started to break, the witch was not fast enough to run and tried to use a shield, yet she was saved by Ben grabbed her by the arm while riding his partner.

"You alright?" He asked out of concern, much to her surprise as she grabbed hold of him by the waist out of reflex.

"Uh-Y-yeah, thanks." Stutters while admit to appreciate his gesture to safe her. It came clear this was getting too dangerous and need to banish it now. Their luck came when they saw Greymon coming to their aid with Flora... and also with another monster beside him.

"About time." Mal noticed an unfamiliar creature. "What the?"

Unknown to her and Ben, but was all too familiar to the Specialists, especially to Riven. "You gotta be kiddin?"

Sky noticed how the Kaiju wasn't acting all hostile now with Taren riding his back which could be a good sign for them. "Hold up, maybe this time he's on our side."

They came to join them and noticed the battle still raging on. "Good news, we got the sword." Taren showed them the relic in his hand, much to their relief.

"Great, now we can send this guy back." Summit said and hopes they know what to do.

Taren had a the same idea. "Let's take this guy head on!"

Ben made the first move using lighting with Garurumon's Foxfire to make a combine attaack. The two dragons named Wingstorm and Titan swooped down onto the giant monster's face before it took and clawed at it, with both their riders in close range to blast their gauntlets just before the combined attacks took a blow to the jaws, causing the Flametropus to let out an anguish roar and stumbled backwards.

Riven charged in to slash at the right leg with his Titan sashing at the left while Togemon unleashed many punches into the stomach before Brandon thew several explosives to make some damage.

Mal can sense its strength reaching the limit and began gathering her power to use the banishing spell. "Almost there! Just… a little…more!"

Taren grabbed onto the chain on Tatsurion's back to give her the push she needed. "Let's go!" Both the Kaiju and Greymon then threw themselves forward to run as fast as they can to give it all they got.

Sky alongside Caliban lept forward to make an assault, only for the Flametropus to spot them and slammed its right hand to crush the Titan. Sky was saved by Z'neth who swooped in time for the rescue, but now seeing it turning against their favour as Lindorm was caught in the blast of the fire. Flora used a shield to save Togemon from the flames, she could feel how hot it was and being pushed back, but then saw Greymon and Tatsurion.

Taren saw his friends were in danger, he needed someway to stop this monster now or never. Unknowingly transferring the portion of his power into the Kaiju through hand, feeling the power flowing through him and engulfed with fire before making a powerful tackle into the kneecap. The attack caught the Kaiju by surprise and then lost its balance, stumbling forward until it fell. This caught everyone by surprise that it was brought down the second time, hoping to for good.

"Mal! Do it!" Sky cried out while they had a chance.

With enough power, she used her keyblade and aimed it towards the fallen Kaiju. "Flametropus….begun!" Casting a powerful banishing spell to reverse the summoning, a portal opened up beneath the Flame creature as it was pulling it in, tried to escape but was no use until it was dragged away back to the Kaiju realm.

The battle was over and Airlandis still stands.

"Wow, that was… a close one." Brandon was relieved it was now over.

Mal sighs and felt so tired after using a powerful spell, her eyes grew heavy and lost her balance to faint. "Mal!" Ben caught her before she could hit the ground in time.

Flora came to check on her and seemed to be fine. "She used a lot of magic, just needs a little rest." Much to the prince's relief but was amazed how she did a powerful spell on her own. Togemon and Garurumon would revert back to their rookie forms with the battle over.

Same for Agumon now as Taren was glad it was over and appreciated the help of their new friend. Now thinking of sending him back home. "You should probably head home, Bob-Uh, I mean… Tatsurion the Unchained." Not wanting to disrespect him by calling that name.

"You… may call me Bob." As a sign of earning his respect, Taren smiled and jumped off of him and used the glove to send him back home. But while happy to make a new friend, but something on the back of his mind couldn't help but wonder what was that connection between them back then. And how did he know the name of his grandfather?

Maybe another time to ask when they meet.

The crisis had been averted and the City of Airlandis was spared from disaster, Dreadwing and his forces had avoided capture and retreated to their territory since their plan failed but no doubt will try again. The crew of the Ebon Hawk were then treated as heroes to the citizns for their efforts.

"For your heroic and selfless deeds, Airlandis is in your debt and grateful for coming to our aide against Dreadwing and stopping that monster." Aaron commented on the young heroes with the rest of the Dragon Flyz to be present.

"We only did what was right and not let the city be destroyed." Ben commented.

"But what about Dreadwing?" Mal was fully recovered thanks to Flora's healing magic, they could not find him or his enforcers anywhere until informed they fled.

"Ran off with the tail between his legs no doubt." Peak summed up.

"But he'll be back as always until Airlandis is his." Apex stated.

"Reminds us of those we know well." Riven stated. "Least we got what we came for and can find the others."

"Wish we can stay longer, but we got to stop those such as Kefka from getting the rest of the relics." Sky said.

Z'neth nods his head and smiles as he shakes their hands. "Then I wish you luck, you are welcome to Airlandis anytime for all the help you gave us."

As they prepared to leave, a new keyblade formed in Mal's hand. A curved blue and white wing with the three of the dragon flyz' wings act as teeth with each one a: forest, orange, and purple. The handle and the grib gaurd were bronze color, and a purple gem was located at the end of the keychain.

They saw a keyhole formed from the cealing and shoots a beam of light to

"Wha-what just happened?" Brandon was stunned by what just happened.

"Mal? You have a new keyblade?" Ben could not hold back the sound of astonishment, but not so much as Mal who looked at it.

"Wow! I actually have my own!" Studying her keyblade and impressed by the form. "Guess there was a keyhole here and just sealed it."

"Looks like you won't have problems for the time being." Taren assured them, and did not expect this to happen but was happy for Mal for what she did. "So, what you gonna call it?"

Mal had a name that would fit perfectly for her new blade. "Hmm, does Flight is Might have a nice ring to it?"

"I like it!" Peak certainly agreed to the choice. "Can I try it out sometime?"

"Sorry, only works on those who are worthy and bonded to." Flora said.

"Looks like you gonna have to work hard on that, little brother." Summit patted his sibling's shoulder to lighten the humor as they all joind to laugh before making their farewell.

"So, you returned from your mission without a relic? Must disappointing, Kefka." Darkar was not bothered by the relics his so-called ally was interseted in when he should be helping the Dark Pheonix to search for the whereabouts of the next codex and infiltrate Red Fountain with the Trix.

Kefka didn't say much, nore dare say he spotted one of the pixies to give Darkar a reason to be angry while sore on his loss but not entirely down on the subject. "Relax, so I didn't get one where there's four more to find. And since we know who is after them, I can work out a plan. So no need to rattle your rusty armor, I have just the idea to help the Trix to get the piece of the codex."

With one down. Four to go. As well as the Codex for his part of the plan.

Man, this took a lot of time to work on and did a few changes with some scenes and wanted to honor some of the animated series that were great back in the 90s and 2000s, used some from Kaijudo with Tatsurion and Flametropus, there will be more adventures with the kaijudo realm and make some ideas for the heroes to improve their strenghts when they will have to confront the Trix again to gaurd the codex. As for what happened with the Winx during the events... I think we can guess what happened and the heroes will be shocked to find out when they get home. Much as I wanted to add more scenes but thought to leave those for the coming chapters than drag on.

I decided to make up a new keyblade for Mal as the second of the new generation to earn a new keyblade, have some ideas for Ben's future keyblade coming up but open to ideas and for others and maybe for other pairings if you like for Sky for someone else, Diaspro or an OC that could be related to one of the canon. Still deciding on that.

Now the first one has been found, what will be the next relic and world they will visit? Until then, see ya!
