Freeing and Friending the Lord of Calamity

Now we see Laphicet, formerly named Jo, and the demon women he met earlier walking together as they escorted him to the village they said it's their territory as they are the rulers in the area including one mountain close by while wearing the cloak over his naked body Belial gave him.

"Okay, here we are." Belial gestured to the village up ahead.

"Small, but peaceful-looking. I always wonder what's it like living in that kind of place." Laphicet said.

"Hopefully, the ones you're thinking of is better than here." Belial said in a slight firm tone.

"Oh, you're not much of a countryside woman." Laphicet guessed.

"You could say that, but I had no choice given the Seven Mortal Sins force this on me." Belial mentioned.

"The Seven Mortal Sins, like the Seven Deadly Sins?" Laphicet asked.

"That's right, you see this world is ruled by two groups of darkness and light you could say: the darkness are seven powerful Demon Lords who represent each of the sins calling themselves the Seven Mortal Sins, and the other group is of seven Archangels representing the light of the world known as the Seven Heavenly Virtues. They maintain order of chaos and harmony while doing their own thing." Astaroth explained of the world with the demons and angels working side by side.

"Wow, two opposites working together! That's something you don't hear every day." Laphicet amazed.

"That's right and each demon lord is paired with one angel help govern the lands they rule on." Astaroth mentioned.

"And I would've made myself a bigger name if I haven't lost to that bitch Lucifer." Belial angered as she bites on her nail.

"Lost? You mean you actually fought one?" Laphicet asked shocked.

"Yeah, you see when either an Angel or a Demon want to become a higher ranking being, they first have to earn the approval from all Seven Lords and Archangels through combat to show the ambition and determination. I actually took part in that too." Astaroth explained that.

"Even though we both were named Demon Lords, the others said the ambitions we have are weak without any convection and I need to learn some humility. Like I haven't been humiliated enough." Belial angered.

"(I think it's something more of what they have in mind.)" Laphicet thought.

"So, that's when you two came to this village and started ruling here." Laphicet guessed.

"That's right, I'm not even sure you can call this a village since there is only 50 people living here including families, a few elders, and one farm." Belial sighed.

"Come on, Lady Belial, this village does have some positive things." Astaroth stated as they enter through the village gate.

"Welcome back!" A little girl called out running up to them.

"Hey there, Kamoana!" Astaroth waved.

"Did you take care of those nasty demon goats that's been causing trouble here?" Kamoana asked.

"We did little one, we killed most of them and the last one was done in my him." Belial gestured to Laphicet.

"Whoa, you're so small and yet killed a demon by yourself?" Kamoana shocked.

"Well, I guess I was surprise how easily burned that thing with my fire breath." Laphicet chuckled.

"Fire breath, that's something a dragon would do." Kamoana said.

"That's because he is a dragon." Astaroth revealed.

"No way, a real dragon here!" Kamoana screamed getting some of the villagers' attention.

"Kamoana!" A woman called out.

"Mom! Mom, come quick! Lady Belial and Big Sis Astaroth brought back a dragon!" Kamoana said.

"(Hmm, so I'm guessing dragons are a deal around here.)" Laphicet thought.

"Oh my, I never thought to meet one in person before." Kamoana's mom surprised.

"We were surprise too when we met him in the woods, Medissa." Belial said.

Medissa is a beautiful woman with long blond hair that appears to be scaly and her eyes are different colors: the right eye is red while the left is black on the outside and yellow on the inside with black sharp dagger-shape pupil. She wears little revealing clothes of light-purple, violet, and black almost like a woman from church in a sexy way, her hands appear be to black with scales and purple fingernails, black shows with purple outward design as well, and a necklace of purple diamonds with black outline. Breasts sizes: H-cup.

"This is the dragon, but he looks so little and appears to be the same age as Kamoana." Medissa said looking at Laphicet with his wings and horn.

"I can assure you I am a dragon, my name is Laphicet and I hope we can get along together." Laphicet greeted with a bow.

"A well-mannered one too, you certainly found a rare creature, Lady Belial." Medissa commented.

"Perhaps fate have finally decided to give us something that can help make our village better." Belial joked a little, though she really hopes Laphicet can help.

"Oh my, is that a real dragon?" A woman asked.

"He looks so cool!" A little boy amazed.

"Dragons are barely seen around these days." An elder man said.

"Well, how about that? Looks like Belial actually did something useful for once." A lizard man said in a little mocking tone.

"Of course, I did. Was there ever any doubt, Dyle." Belial glared.

"(Whoa, a real lizardman!)" Laphicet thought shocked. Him being a dragon is cooler.

"Everyone, this here is Laphicet the Silver Dragon and from this day forward he will be living with us. So, treat him with respect and he'll help around as much as he can. Now go back to your activates." Belial ordered and everyone went back to doing their own thing except for Kamoana and Medissa.

"Now, I suppose a little tour of the village before we head to my house." Belial suggested.

"Oh, oh, can I show him the best viewing spots!" Kamoana volunteered.

"We don't any shops around here, just the barky and clothing store. We also have a blacksmith shop that help fix any tools we have here." Medissa mentioned.

"That's fine, I'm not big on the fancy stuff anyway." Laphicet said.

"We better add modest to your rep along with your cuteness." Astaroth giggled.

Then suddenly Laphicet felt something in his head, feeling a strange dark presence like it calling out to him or something, the feeling of danger and there is also something else in that feeling he couldn't make out entirely.

"Laphicet, are you okay, sugar?" Belial asked snapping Laphicet out of his thoughts.

"Sorry, I just felt something odd and it feels like it came from over there." Laphicet pointed at the mountain making everyone shock.

"It would seem you can feel the presence of the Lord of Calamity." Belial said confusing Laphicet.

"Many years ago, there was a great battle between a demon who wanted to destroy all against a Holy warrior. The battle nearly shook the earth, but the Lord of Calamity was defeated and sealed away by the Holy Warrior into the mountain though her powers are still fierce that the negative feeling spreading from there can attract wild demons here." Belial explained.

"That was the reason why we were out there, to stop any demons from harming the village." Astaroth added.

"Is this Lord of Calamity really that bad?" Laphicet asked curious.

"I never knew the demon personally; all I know is that she was drowned in desire of beyond saving or at least that's what I heard." Belial said.

"I heard she eats bad children who don't behave." Kamoana said hiding behind her mom in fear.

"No, you're actually thinking of a different monster." Medissa said.

Laphicet continue staring at the direction where the dark feeling came from and couldn't help but wonder if this Lord Calamity is really all that bad.

(Nighttime, Belial and Astaroth's Home)

"The food was great, thank you." Laphicet thanked.

"You're welcome, I know my way around the kitchen." Astaroth bragged.

"And I'm actually surprise that two demons like you are living inside a church." Laphicet commented as the scene to the outside of a small yet house-size church.

"This was here long before we came in, it was all dusty and fill with holes a year ago." Belial explained.

"Hey, can I ask you a favor if it's not too much trouble." Laphicet asked.

"What's on your mind, Laphicet?" Belial asked.

"… Can you take me to where the Lord of Calamity is?" Laphicet said causing the demon women to gasp.

"What? You want to go there?!" Astaroth scared.

"What got into your little head to go somewhere that dangerous?" Belial shocked.

"I don't know why exactly, but when I felt that dark presence there was one or two emotions among it that I knew back in my old world. The feeling of betrayal and lonely." Laphicet said as he looks out the bedroom window placing his hand on the glass.

"I know I've only been in this world for barely a day, but it keeps calling out to me. Like I'm supposes to go there for whatever reason, maybe I can help this Lord of Calamity to be good. I don't know how but I have to at least or else I may regret it." Laphicet said with strong words and the bravery in his eyes.

Belial and Astaroth look at each other feeling that his words struck them hard and believe maybe Laphicet can help with this.

"Alright, you'll take you there in the morning." Belial said.

"Thank you, I'm sorry to trouble you with this." Laphicet apologized.

"It's fine, we need to deal with the wild demons popping around here anyway." Belial sighed.

They walk into Belial and Astaroth's bedroom as there are two beds on each side of the room.

"You'll be sleeping with me in my bed." Belial said making Laphicet blush.

"Couldn't I just sleep on the floor?" Laphicet asked.

"Of course not, you are a special guest and I won't have a dragon sleep on the floor of an old church." Belial stated, snapping her finger to change her dress into a nearly transparent blue night dress.

"But… but… Astaroth, help me out!" Laphicet begged, but gasp to see she is already asleep.

"Come now, off to bed." Belial took Laphicet's hand dragging him to the bed despite his protest.

Now, Laphicet find himself sleeping very close to Belial with her huge breasts pressing against his body causing his face to turn ten shades of red as he tries to calm himself down and sleep. He looks out the window wondering if meeting the Lord of Calamity will really do something good as he will have to try, minutes later he fell sleep.

(Morning)

Morning came and Laphicet open his when feeling sunlight hitting his face, and his eyes widen of realizing his face and hands are on Belial's breasts as she sleeps peaceful. Laphicet launch himself away and fell off

"Umm, morning already?" Belial yawned and notices Laphicet on the floor.

"Come now, boy, that's not a good way to wake up." Belial scolded.

"Got it." Laphicet groaned.

(After Breakfast)

"Okay, we're almost there." Laphicet excited a little, like being on an adventure. Wearing a new set of clothes.

He wears a yellow gown which is overlaid by a plain, long and white one. The white piece is fluffy and long-sleeved by the arms as well as having orange ribbons embroidered at each end. It also has a carved-design where the yellow robe is visible at the shoulders which is outlined by blue highlight-lacing, which is then finished off by the sailor-fuku style ribbon, tie and flap. Over his clothes, he wears a thick, leather ring which takes the form of a neck-collar finished off by a hanging bell. He also wears dark-brown leggings as pants and black pump-like slippers as well as a pouch attached to the back of his robe.

"I'm glad I kept that around when we moved into the church, that kind of style would wasted elsewhere." Belial said.

"Do we really have to go there? I'm getting shivers all over my body." Astaroth admitted.

"You don't have to come with us if you don't want to." Laphicet said.

"No, I want to so I can see history in the making. So, don't go thinking I'll be baby crying." Astaroth determined with a rap.

"Quiet, we're here." Belial said as they reach the large cave entrance.

"This is where the Lord of Calamity is, just down this path." Belial said.

"Okay, let's go!" Laphicet marched down the dark path with Belial and Astaroth behind her.

The path down took them about forty minutes until they reach the end seeing a yellow web-like barrier with a person inside.

Laphicet is a bit surprise to see the Lord of Calamity is a beautiful-looking young woman with gold-brown eyes and extremely long and black hair which drops to floor-level. Her hair-strands curve towards the left-side of her face and she has mid-length hair which is plaited and tied by a smaller bandage-band resting on her left shoulder. She is covered in chains and sealing tags with a large bandage cast on her left arm. Breasts sizes: H-cup.

"…You know it's rude to stare." The Calamity woman said.

"Oh sorry, I just wasn't exactly expecting to see a girl in there." Laphicet said.

"So, you're the Lord of Calamity. I never had any reason to come here until now and given the security of this barrier and the sealing around I say you must be powerful." Belial commented.

"Trust me lady, you would be dead right now if I wasn't stick here." She glared.

"Well, do you got a name? I'm Laphicet and I'm a Silver dragon." Laphicet introduced himself.

"A dragon, huh? Been a long time since I seen one and as for your question, you can just call me Velvet Crowe." Velvet revealed her name.

"Velvet Crowe, quite a pretty name for a vicious demon." Belial commented.

"It's the only thing I have before being locked up in here." Velvet said.

"So, why exactly are you here for? To finally end me?" Velvet asked.

"No, I came here because I wanted to know something about your feelings." Laphicet answered.

"My feelings?" Velvet confused.

"You see, yesterday I felt your dark presence when I arrived at the village and notice there were a couple of sad ones like you been through a lot even being betrayed." Laphicet explained making Velvet shock.

"How do you know I was betrayed?" Velvet asked.

"I didn't, I told you I just felt it. But it looks like you already answer that for me." Laphicet pointed out.

"And you felt that among my darkness. That's pretty impressive, kid." Velvet commented.

"So, you're not really a bad guy at all. Are you? You have all this dark power and yet you never killed an innocent life, not even children, do you?" Laphicet said as he feels Velvet's emotions despite trying to keep them lock up.

"It sounds like you're a mind-reader, but that's not it. I have killed bastards like murders of either humans or demons, they all meet the same fate, the lives I saved with the smiles on their faces were enough for me. And as you know, I was betrayed by someone I once called him my brother, branding me a criminal trying to destroy the world and sealed me away here." Velvet explained.

"Let me guess, you want revenge on the man who framed you." Belial said.

"Yeah, I want nothing more than to send the fucker to Hell where the Seven Rings of Hell can torture him for all of eternity!" Velvet growled as her body emits a dark-red malevolence aura, then the seal glows zapping her in pain for a few seconds.

"Then what about after you get your goal? What would you do after you got your revenge?" Laphicet asked.

"I… I don't know, revenge has been the only thing I can think of. I don't even remember what I wanted to do in my life before coming here." Velvet admitted.

"Then I'll help you." Laphicet said.

"Huh, help me?" Velvet shocked.

"Yeah, now I know you're all bad. Just the kind of anti-hero stuff and I like that." Laphicet smiled as he places his hands on the barrier.

"Hey, stop! You'll get hurt if you touch the barrier." Velvet warned.

But it was too late as Laphicet had already touch the barrier and the electric trap attacks him, but he isn't faze but it at all and clutches his claws to pierce deeper into the barrier as a few of the lines are snapped off. With a mighty roar, Laphicet spread his arms out ripping the barrier apart and disappear.

"No way, the barrier was forged by two Lord Demons and Archangels that only they can undo, but he did it with no effort at all." Belial shocked.

"Whoa, that's totally awesome, Laphicet!" Astaroth cheered.

"No way…" Velvet said, couldn't believe what she is seeing.

Then Laphicet dash at Velvet ripping the chains, sealing tags, and bandage cast revealing her left arm to be a large red and black demonic arm.

"Velvet Crowe, from the day forward you are my friend and I promise to help me your life a happy one and we'll get back at the guy who put you down here." Laphicet promised with a strong smile.

Velvet's heart suddenly races faster than usual and saw a bright light emitting from Laphicet almost like he is someone special she has been waiting for.

"Uh, things have just gotten interesting." Velvet smiled.
