Watery New Welcome and New Village Name
Astaroth is seen bringing some towels in a basket walking to the large bathhouse very close to the church, it is her turn to check up on the mermaids that she and the others brought back upon Laphicet's order though she felt jealous when he expressed how he likes mermaids. But nevertheless, she didn't like leaving those poor mermaids alone in the woods though there has been a question on their mind.
"Those mermaids, they only live in the ocean and in watery cities, yet we found them in the river the forest. I wonder what happened to them?" Astaroth talked to herself.
Astaroth enter the bathhouse showing to have a large pool which was here when she and Belial first arrived in the town, and it was thanks to Laphicet and Velvet's help cleaning it up beforehand.
"Well, the important thing right now is to help these girls from their injuries." Astaroth kneeled and placed a towel on the orange mermaid's forehead.
"I have to admit, it does feel excited to meet mermaids in person than hearing about them." Astaroth giggled.
Then suddenly the orange mermaid opens her eyes and instantly attack Astaroth pushing her down onto the with an angry face.
"AAAAAAAHHHHH?!" Astaroth screamed.
"What was that?" Velvet asked as she and Laphicet were playing cards together while Belial was reading a book and Hono was having a little nap next to him.
"I think that was Astaroth." Laphicet recognized that scream.
"And it came from the bathhouse." Belial said and everyone hurried there.
They enter the bathhouse gasp upon seeing the Astaroth is being pinned down by the orange mermaid while the other mermaids had woken up and are inside the pool being far away as they are looking scared too.
"Stay back, do anything and this girl is done for!" The orange mermaid threatened grabbing Astaroth by the neck.
"Well, that's one way to do when waking up in an unknown place." Velvet commented.
"Now, you best not underestimate Astaroth, she's a Demon Lord like me and she won't hesitate to defend herself." Belial warned.
"That's gonna be hard to do when her throat is being squeeze like this." The orange mermaid squeezed the Demon Lord of Melancholy making her groan in pain.
"Please, there's no need for violence." Laphicet begged.
"Back off, brat! I refuse to allow me and my family to be force against our will by anyone else ever again!" The orange mermaid angered.
"How dare you say such things in front of my master's present, you'd be wise on what you say next." Hono growled.
"No, Hono! Stand down, we have to show her that we mean no harm." Laphicet hold Hono back.
"And why should I believe a word from your mouth?" The orange mermaid asked glaring at the little boy.
"Careful now, this boy here is a dragon." Belial warned shocking the mermaids.
"Bullshit! Dragons haven't been seen in years; I won't fall for your lies! The orange mermaid refused to believe that.
"No, I do not think they are lying, Elm." The dark-blue mermaid said.
"What? You can't be serious?" The orange mermaid now named Elm gasped.
"I never kid when it comes to such serious things like this, that boy is a dragon and incredible magic aura he is releasing is no joke." The dark-blue mermaid stated.
"Huh, I always thought that dragons are bigger and scary." The yellow mermaid said.
"Let just say I'm a different kind of dragon, my name is Laphicet." Laphicet chuckled and deciding not to tell them about himself originally being from another world and formerly a human.
"Please, I can tell you have some trust issues and protective of your family. But I promise we are not your enemies, and hopefully we can become friends." Laphicet offered his hand and spread his wings.
Elm didn't want to believe this boy and wanted to escape with her family except she soon realizes that the mermaids are inside a small building and probably far, far away from the ocean and they have no means of getting their way there.
"Okay, you got me." Elm surrendered as she got off of Astaroth.
"Now, why don't you tell is about yourselves like how you ended in the river where we found you?" Laphicet asked as he sat on a pillow that Hono got from somewhere.
"Well, we used to live in the ocean in an underwater city. It was a peaceful time, but that didn't last for us." Elm started the story while looking at the other mermaids.
"We were playing together outside of the city just having some fun, but we got hunted down by some hunters and were sold to an evil man. The things he did to us and what they try to make us do…" The lighter pink mermaid cried.
"There, there, little sister. We no longer have to suffer from that man and his stupid minions anymore." The pink mermaid comforted her little sister.
"I was caught in the hunting as well, and as the only adult it was only fitting that I try my best to help these girls to see the light of things." The dark-blue mermaid mentioned.
"You all mention that your family to each other, but now I see that it's not by blood." Belial figured out.
"You are correct, but I've been caring for these girls since for the past eight years through all the dark times we went through." The dark-blue mermaid said proudly.
"That's very kind of, having a mom can certainly help ones even in their darkest time." Velvet smiled.
"Although I wonder, do you girls have names than just Elm?" Laphicet asked curiously.
"That's because we don't have names, mermaids are like other monsters in a way, and we aren't born with names though there is a ritual that only a few receive names from the blessing of the Sea God." The yellow mermaid explained.
"I see, and the bastard who brought you guys decided to give you a name thinking it was gonna be fun." Velvet figured that much out.
"Yes, he had his strongest soccer to give me a name just for the fun of it whenever he would like to make me suffer." Elm nodded.
"Then it's safe to assume that the fool didn't realize that giving a monster a name would make your stronger." Belial said as she can already picture it.
"Well, the wizard did try to warn him, but the man didn't listen and just gave the order." The lighter pink mermaid mentioned.
"Yes, and in doing so I have gained a new skill of water magic which I was able to use to make our escape." Elm showed them her power making a sphere of water appeared in the air.
"Wow, that's amazing! I bet you can control water from your surrounding areas too!" Laphicet impressed.
"Theoretically, yes, but I never got the chance to practice on that since all I wanted was to help me and my family escape from the noble man and his cruelty." Elm said looking angry again.
"A nobleman, why am I not surprised." Velvet asked sarcastically.
"Even though my water magic was a little weak, it was just enough for us to escape, and we found ourselves swimming through the river of the forest. However, the mage casted a powerful spell that blasted us away and unconscious." Elm finished the story.
"How long were you five unconscious?" Laphicet asked.
"I'm not sure, but the time when we escape was definitely night though and our bodies weren't hurt too badly, so I believe it might have been just a day or two." Elm theorized.
"Then it's a good thing we found you when Kamoana and Howler were with us otherwise, we would have never known about you girls being there in the first place." Laphicet smiled.
"Who?" Elm asked.
"Oh, Kamoana is this little monster plant girl and Howler is a Direwolf who also happens to be her friend and partner." Laphicet explained.
"I see, guess we own them our thanks." Elm smiled.
"I'm sure she would like to be friends with you guys, and it's so cool that I get to meet mermaids for the first time!" Laphicet excited.
"You never met mermaids until now?" The yellow mermaid surprised.
"Not quite, but the boy appears to be a big fan of tales around the mermaids." Belial teased making Laphicet blush.
"Anyway, how about I help you girls starting with giving you each a name." Laphicet offered much to the mermaid's shock.
"Are you sure! To be given a name by a dragon of all things would be the highest honor!" The dark-blue mermaid gasped.
"Yeah, it's no trouble." Laphicet said.
"Wait, Laphicet. You already gave names to the Direwolves earlier." Velvet reminded him, Laphicet ignore her.
"Okay, so who wants to go first?" Laphicet asked the mermaids.
"If it's okay… Could you please give Elm a new name!" The lighter pink mermaid asked shocking Elm.
"Oh, I take it you don't like the name." Laphicet guessed.
"Huh, no, not quite… Even I did get a bit stronger from the naming, that word never really rolls well for me." Elm confessed.
"(Well, I guess having a better name than from the bastards who treated her nothing would be cooler.)" Laphicet thought nodded.
"Okay, I think we'll keep the "El" part, so your name shall be… Eleanor." Laphicet declared and now the newly named Eleanor glows a little brightly.
"Wow, my new name Eleanor! Thank you very much, Lord Laphicet!" Eleanor thanked with a bow.
"You're welcome, I hope you live a good life here in our town." Laphicet petted Eleanor's head which actually made her blush.
"Now, onto you four." Laphicet turned his attention to the four nameless mermaids.
"(Hmm, I need to think this carefully to come up with names for them. Although everyone back home used to tell me that I have good instincts when it comes to these sorts of things.)" Laphicet though, doing some thinking.
Then an idea for a name of one mermaid came into his head.
"Okay, the adopted the mother, I have decided that your name shall be… Shyarly!" Laphicet declared.
"Me, Shyarly. That's very fitting and feel it is a name I was destined to have." Shyarly smiled as her body glows bright like what happened with Eleanor.
"(Okay, she likes it. That's good, and now for that yellow one.)" Laphicet thought looked at the yellow mermaid, doing a little thinking.
"Yellow one, I hope you'll be happy with this name because it's going to be Lulala from now on!" Laphicet announced.
"Wow, I actually got a name! This is the greatest day ever!' Lulala cheered as her body glow a little.
"(And lastly, those two pink mermaids. It's going to be a tough one, but I have to believe in myself of the names I'll be giving them.)" Laphicet thought concentrate in his mind of the name for the last two mermaids.
"Got it!" Laphicet decided on the names for them.
"The regular pink one, you shall be call Meroune and your nickname can be Mero for short." Laphicet declared.
"Oh my, I am very honored!" Mero smiled.
"Wow, that's a beautiful name, big sister!" The lighter pink mermaid said feeling happy for her big sister.
"As for you, your name shall be known as Shirahoshi!" Laphicet announced.
"Thank you, thank you very much! I will never forget this day!" Shirahoshi smiled and bring out the tears of joy.
"This is wonderful! We will never forget the kindness you have given us for not only letting us stay in your home, but also to given us each our own names." Eleanor smiled crying too.
"We will forever be in your debt, Lord Laphicet." The five mermaids bowed at their new kind master.
"You're welcome, now we just got think of how you're going to live in the town…" Laphicet stopped his sentence when his eyes suddenly gone blurry, and his body stop moving as he fell though was caught by Hono's body.
"Oh no, Laphicet!" Astaroth gasped.
"Good golly, I knew we should have stop him." Belial sighed.
"What's happening… My body, I feel so tired." Laphicet groaned, confuse of what is going on before everything went black.
Then something else happened, Laphicet's body is bursting of his silver flame consume him whole until he is now inside of a shiny silver egg, and his clothes are left outside.
"We did warn him naming monsters would drain one's magic, but it looks like this what happens to him he uses up his magic when giving names." Velvet said, admittedly this egg thing is new to her as she wonders if other dragons are like this.
"That's what he gets for not listening to us that some of his magic were already drained after naming the Direwolves, and naming some stronger monsters like the mermaids did him in." Belial pointed out.
"Will he be okay?" Shirahoshi asked worry.
"Don't worry, sweetie, Laphicet is just going to out like this for a while. Probably two or three days at most." Belial stated as everyone look at the silver egg.
(Three Days Later)
The silver egg is seen resting on Laphicet's bed with sunlight shining onto the egg and cracks started to appear until Laphicet himself came out.
"I'M ALIVE!" Laphicet shouted.
"Wow, never thought I would come out of an egg like that." Laphicet said and spotted his clothes as he puts them on.
"Lord Laphicet, is that you!" Eleanor asked from outside the room.
"Yeah, I just woke up." Laphicet responded.
"Wonderful, I am so happy that you have awaken!" Eleanor entered the room smiling though her appearance is completely different.
Her new appearance is that of a young woman with fair skin, grass-green eyes and long bright-red hair with alternating streaks of a peach-pink which is tied into long twintails by two spiky teal hairbands that end with orange parallel-laced ribbons. Her fringes are placed towards the side, revealing her forehead. She wears a mid-length dress with multiple layers of white ruffles and matching long boots. Both have a golden-orange pattern with a form of insignia on them and her dress also has an extending flap which stems from the collar and through the midpoint of her outfit. Over her dress, she wears a long-sleeved, blue jacket of variant shades. The jacket's length is short and reaches her upper waist. It has the same lacing as her dress, as well as multiple buttons and a meandering orange shape at the wrists, which is finished off by finger-less gloves. She also has blue fin-like ears. Breasts sizes: E-cup.
"Whoa! Is that really you, Eleanor! You have legs now!" Laphicet surprised.
"That's right, since you given me a name, I have evolved which I can now walk on land too." Eleanor said moving her legs a little.
"Although, I have to admit they were difficult to move around." Eleanor said and grabs Laphicet's hand.
"Come, the others will be thrilled to know the lord of Silver Flame has return!" Eleanor excited, dragging Laphicet outside.
"Master, I am please you have return to us!" Hono greeted joyfully. He too has change into a bigger wolf with red fur, white leg braces, and now has two horns.
"Hono, so your evolution happened and it's awesome!" Laphicet amazed.
"Your words humble me!" Hono wagged his tail causing a strong wind.
"Well, well, look who finally decided to wake up." Velvet said as she, Belial, and Astaroth walked up to him.
"Hey girls, sorry I didn't listen to you about the naming." Laphicet apologized.
"All water under the bridge. Besides, I think you're going to be happy when you meet the mermaids." Belial said.
Everyone lead Laphicet to someplace that was there before, a big lake.
"I don't remember a lake being here." Laphicet said.
"Because we set it up, making the mermaids feel right at home." Velvet revealed.
"(Wait, they created a lake in three days! That's amazing!)" Laphicet thought surprised.
"Everyone, Lord Laphicet has finally awakened!" Eleanor called out to her family, and in a moment, they jumped out of the water and floating onto bubble tubes around their waist.
"Welcome back, Lord Laphicet!" The mermaids greeted.
"Wow, you girls changed as well!" Laphicet amazed of seeing their new appearance as he was able to recognize them.
Shyarly is now a large mermaid (17'1") with purple nail polish, red lipstick, and blue eyes with slanted pupils that resemble shark eyes. She has short black hair that covers over the right side of her face. Her tail is dark blue with a dorsal fin on her lower back where her human and fish halves meet, a white patch below the dorsal fin, smaller fins on the lower front and back, and a lunate caudal fin. She wears a hooded purple blouse that is only buttoned in the middle, revealing her cleavage and stomach and has a belly-chain around her waist. Breasts sizes: JJ-cup.
Lulala has honey blond hair and warm skin with emerald eyes. She is very petite with vibrant yellow and black fins on her tail. Her fingers are webbed and has sharp, yellow ears that are tipped in black. Her gills are located on either side of her ribs. She wears orange, yellow and teal top with a hood and frilly skirt. Her skirt is tasseled in teal gemstones and her arms are wrapped in white ribbon, ending in orange frills at her wrists. Breasts sizes: C-cup.
Mero has become an attractive, well-endowed young woman with blue eyes, fin-like ears and long light-pink hair, which is separated in four strands curled into drills on their lower parts, with two in front of her shoulders and other two at her back. She wears a gothic lolita style, with a barrette having seashell designs on both sides and her tail is usually covered with a dress. Breasts sizes: F-cup.
"Wow, you all look amazing!" Laphicet complimented.
"Thank you, but I believe you'll find Shirahoshi's change to be more than you think." Shyarly winked.
Right on cue, Shirahoshi came out showing her now shocking large form.
Shirahoshi is now a giant-sized mermaid. has very long, flowing pink hair with a taiyaki-shaped hairgrip. Her breasts are large, even relative to her giant-like size, and much of her upper body is exposed. Her broadly striped tail ends in a ruffle around her waist. She wears a cleavage-baring yellow halter top covered in pearls with a strap that widens and sticks out on the back of her neck. She also wears clam earrings and belly chains with a cloth hanging down in front.
"Hello Lord, Laphicet, I'm please to see you again." Shirahoshi smiled.
"Whoa, you're a giant!" Laphicet gasped.
"I'm happy to see the Lord of the Silver Flame town is back!" Lulala cheered.
"Huh, Silver Flame town?" Laphicet puzzled.
"I decided to finally give the town in the honor your silver flame, thought it could use a bit something more with the changes." Belial explained.
"And those great changes are all thanks to you!" Astaroth shouted and struck her guitar.
"Okay, now this I can get into!" Laphicet excited as he wonders what else can happen next.

Laphicet has learned the sad past of the five mermaids and have granted them safe haven within the now named Silver Flame, he also given the mermaids their own name which the four are from other anime shows just to make it extra fun.
