Hey readers, It's been a while, sorry for the delay, there were a number of things which got in the way of me finishing this chapter. Not the least of which being motivation crashing, and then me realizing my plans for this story were much too vague. And the fact that It's really hard to come up with ideas and a plan for this story… WHEN ALL YOUR BRAIN DOES IS COME UP WITH IDEAS FOR THE OTHER ONE!

So between family chaos, real life deciding it was time to trigger my depressive anxiety induced state. And all sorts of other BS I can't remember at this very moment, I took a big hit and so too did this story. Heck! Its been so long I forgot the last time I posted was the first three damn chaps of this story and this is my first time updating it!

But I do hope you stuck around and stick with me while I try my best to feel out the story and get it where I want to go. Thing is, I do have lots of plans in mind… for later… in the story… just… not sure how to get there really… hate it when that happens.

Anyways, as per usual… reviews!

[{whwsms: Ah~ a familiar and usual face to see on new and upcoming stories/ writers, glad to see you here. Now then lets see what you had to say~

C1, He really is, the entirety of NT10 was just him taking a beat down like a damn champ and still coming out on top. But as a alt version of those events, I had to give him a slightly more positive and triumphant moment than in canon.

C2, me and rails have discussed at length how in our two Othicentric fics, that Stiyle really isn't gonna have a good time trying to recruit Touma. Magician or no, she's still a wargod and has a body with the strength to match it so you don't wanna mess with her. And… FUDGE! Did I already make a damn continuity error with her level? Aaaahhh this is what I get for spending so long between writing chapters. You forget things in all the damn chaos! Still you'll see how being an esper effects things as time goes on.

C3, To be fair, been so long I likely need to be reminded, also wouldn't know what you considered the highlight… am curious if you did quote it tho.}

{aaadam747: don't hold your breath, but I do hope you continue to have that centiment during the buildup phase… sorry for the delay though.}

{Emzt20x: Glad you like the concept, I hope you continue to like the story as time goes on}

{mr gg: I know! Theres like only a few here and there and all, even the good ones are entirely abandoned. Despite them having the single best relationship outside Hamazubo! And I sure hope I can finish this story… or at least the first few arcs I got in mind.}

{Melo Coges: Indeed, its also one of the few (bar kamachi violating his own statements for the sake of a dumb gag) that has an ironically legit healthy bond between the two characters despite their history. However… I hope you don't mind seeing a more… possessive side to Othinus, as thats what im gonna show in this story.}

{SuperBoy813: Indeed and at this rate, you've basically been involved in half the planning my friend, so try not to spoil our friends. Shame I still have SPAG issues, but glad its better than when I started LoCG… had to put a warning at the start of the old version.

C1, I always had this kind of thing in mind when I came up with this concept, the idea of one small change, one word being all thats needed to change the future so drastically. Which gave me a lot of time to figure out how that would work and what those words would be to allow Othinus to give up her godhood. With the small flashes to her past being something I added to give more depth, and yes… I do intend to explore it more as you know from our dms. And heh, I do feel glad you enjoyed that reveal~

C2-3, I felt it made sense to show the trial between scenes of her heading to school, as it sorta fills in the gaps for readers. While also giving a sense of Othinus reminiscing on it between her conversation with Yomikawa as the teacher did ask. I knew I wanted the trial to be emotionally charged, and to basically take the place of the speech from NT10, with the broadcast being done there. However, if I didn't break it up the way I did, transitioning between the different parts of the trial would have been much harder to do naturally.

It felt pretty natural for someone who was a former god to be attractive and get hit on, not that she'd have much interest. It also gave me a chance to show her… hints of social awkwardness in the form of… excessive violence to those she does not like. And as Touma's understander, she's not just gonna sit back and let people have a go at him. She's the type to 'mark her territory' and establish quite quickly that Touma is her's and her's alone. She of course takes her punishment/job as Touma's personal guard seriously… and so any threat to him is going to be taken care of. Which is why she acts so, violently to Aogami, hearing him threaten Touma is gonna trigger a few things. I am very glad you noticed that detail too, she seeks knowledge so even if she doesn't like being in school, she'll still participate.

Thank you, I'll probably be leaning on you a bit more every now and then considering how many ideas you've helped with. Sure rails def has helped, but you have provided some of the major ones I've saved for future arcs.

Careful… spoilers}

{Mr? The main man is here with his own review and boy does he seem excited!

I am glad you enjoyed those first few chapters so much, and im feeling really guilty, cause I no longer feel confident in the quality I'll be producing. All cause of the delay it took to get this one out and the sudden realization I had in the process. I doubt I'll ever capture the essence of those speeches ever again, especially that 'you didn't win' one. That was worked on by me and rails for, like… months, with multiple iterations we went through. And I am very glad it captured the heart of the story as well as you think it did, as I hope to live up to those expectations.

I want to delve deeper into norse culture and be authentic for this, so finding the current oldest version of Odin's name, in Wothnaz that I learned from Jackson Crawford on Youtube (a scholar in nordic culture). Was pretty important. Often its the little details and one off mentions that add depth, like how in canon Kamachi has Othi namedrop both Mimir and mention Kivasir in the same sentence. And I do intend to have a number of SoL moments between Othi and Touma as this fic will focus on that relationship.

Oh… it is… one essay on entropy is all you need to know that… Oniharu from Jailbreaker? Is what Uiharu should be… she controls a force more fundamental than vectors… which even those vectors are just another expression of. So… you're on the right track~

I really worry I dropped the ball already

XD don't worry I intend to address this little detail and clarify what the criteria was, as not everyone would forgive, and def not the majority. So, her past actions… and I mean past actions are going to be biting her in the ass at some point. As for how they expect her to help… what? And Tsuchimikado doesn't exist suddenly? She doesn't need magic to help. Especially in regards to cleaning up her own mess… although it was mostly a matter of, disarm her like you noted. Finally… GOD DAMN YOU I BEFORE E EXCEPT AFTER C!}

{All Hail Lord Megatron: Quite a substantial review… bit too formal between friends but im glad to see you went through the effort. I don't really have much to say on each thing you mentioned, especially considering you didn't exactly make it clear what is referring to what. But I'm really hoping you continue to enjoy it and can say more positive things as the story goes on. We can likely have a more proper discussion in our own DMs some other time}

{Pixie Duck: oh… you may dare alright}]

Aaaand thats it, for those of you wondering, "hey? Wheres Rails" he's decided not to participate in these sections for SYSTEM. He'll still be helping me with ideas and what not, but he's gonna take a more backseat role so to speak. Even if those first three chaps wouldn't exist without him… we have suffered… a terrible loss this day… (actually that happened months ago but you get it).

Anyways as always, remember constructive criticism is both encouraged and desired so, without further to do.

Let this tale of an infinity commence once more.

Chapter 3

Day in the school-life of a former god

Stepping out of the conifers, Othinus emerged into a clearing within the Sanctuary of Mimir where her uncle lived just to the north of her home village. The immense clearing glittered with life, various animals resting in the nearby trees, wolves sleeping just across the way. Even Ravens and crows sat in the trees at the edges of the clearing where glowing moss could be seen covering the bark.

At its center, a large natural spring could be seen, water pouring out from the depths of the earth and into a large stone carved basin. Various symbols lining it's edge, a circle with a dot, an eye on the forehead of a skull, a crescent moon and more. Symbols anyone who had lived a day could recognize as they were nigh universal for anyone who could think

This place which surged with magical energy that poured up from the world itself was none other than Mimir's spring. A place one could obtain the wisdom of the world and the body to wield it so long as they were willing to make a sacrifice. And resting just on the edge of the secret grove, before the well at it's heart, an old man sat, before his head perked up.

He had sandy colored hair and a balding head with a small goatee growing off of his wrinkled chin and kind eyes. A large tan cloak could be seen wrapped around his shoulders, and he held a walking stick in one hand made from a knotted branch. On his left hip, a drinking horn could be seen hanging from his waist and a pair of sandals adorned his feet. Finally, what appeared to be a pair of almost invisible nubs poked out from either side of his forehead as he flashed Othinus a gentle smile.

"I don't tend to get many visitors young lady, what brings you to my grotto?" he asked with a accent a bit more western than Othinus's own. Meaning he likely had once come from the isles off the coast of norway which she had often visited with her father. "You lost child? Also… pardon me, but I could swear you look familiar, have we met before fine lass?"

"Not since I was a child Mimir, I hear you grant wisdom to those who are willing to make a sacrifice? I wish to know the secrets of the world and magic that no other has obtained," Othinus's tone remained cold. "However, I have already mastered everything the covenant has to teach me, the druids cannot keep up with me. And our sages declare that in order to learn anything more, I need to reach outside the bounds of mortal understanding."

A silence fell as Mimir's kind eyes fell for a moment and he gave a sorrowful sigh, "I see… you must be Wothnaz. The niece I've heard so much about from my dear sister Bestla, her pride and joy that was taken from her by Mycannea. You've returned yet still your thirst for knowledge remains unquenched… you do understand what it means by sacrifice right?"

Othinus's eyes narrowed, "do not waste my time old fool, tell me what it is I must do to drink from your well. I have worked for every day of my life, so I have earned this knowledge, magic is the only thing I've ever chosen. And I will not allow any of its secrets to be denied from me," she snapped. Catching her uncle off guard as he gave her a stern expression.

"I could just turn you away my niece, so watch your tongue to your elders… its not so simple to ask for a drink from my well of wisdom. You're not just gaining knowledge, but giving up your humanity…" he smirked a bit, "but if you are so insistent. Then give me one of your eyes, I've heard tale of your ability to see anywhere you so desire though the usage of ravens and Crows. Sharing their sight with your own," he said, clearly expecting her to grow defensive as he pointed to her left eye.

But to his surprise, without so much as a blink or hesitation, Othinus whipped out a knife and stabbed it into the space between her retina and skull. Carving out her own eye with a swift motion as she tore it free and cried out in agony, falling over to her knees as she breathed through grit teeth. Blood pouring down her face as she gasped out in pain, clutching her chest and shaking, but refusing to give in.

A gasp of pure horror left her uncle's lips as he rushed over and tried to help her up, "WOTHNAZ! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!? I didn't mean for you to tear out your own eye, we need to get you to the shamans now before it's too late. Without help you'll die, h-hurry put your eye back in!" he begged her, trying to lift her hand to her face as a look of fear filled his eyes.

"No!" Othinus snapped, and shoved the eye into his hand, "I told you, I desire a drink from your well, and you told me the cost. Take my eye as agreed upon and grant me my wish Mimir, if it is to obtain knowledge, then I shall risk death to obtain it!" She gritted her teeth, glaring at Mimir with her remaining eye as she took heavy breaths in an attempt to ease the pain.

"A-all right… I understand Wothnaz…" Mimir's voice quivered as he stumbled to his feet and rushed over to the well. "At the very least, there is a chance this could save your life, so that is the only reason I am willing to do this for you. I could not bare to look your parents in the eyes if their daughter died because of her willingness to do as I asked."

Taking Othinus's eye, he dropped it into the spring and muttered something under his breath with a quick chant. Almost immediately, it began to melt away into the water as the liquid began to glow, changing to a bright blue coloration. Mimir then took the drinking horn, and placed it under the flow of water, filling it with the glowing ethereal fluid. Before rushing it over to Othinus as carefully as he could, and handing it to her, with shaking, fearful hands.

Steading her breath, Othinus snatched the drinking horn from his hand, and quickly kicked back the liquid. Guzzling it down in large gulps as the shimmering pale blue light traveled down her neck and into her body. She quickly emptied the horn, before giving a satisfied sigh and wiping her lip, the blood still gushing from her open wound as she handed the drinking horn back.

Suddenly, her one good eye widened as a pulse went through her body and she doubled over much to Mimir's horror. Pain erupting across her body as she cried out in agony once more, her eye socket bubbling as it sizzled and burned like it was being cooked from within. She could feel every tiny fragment of her body changing down to her thoughts and memory as it shifted and churned. Like a storm ripping its way through her veins as she began to writhe in pain on the floor, clawing and grabbing at the earth.

Squeezing her eyes shut, she gasped, gagging as saliva dripped from her open jaws and she felt forbidden knowledge pour into her mind. A Blank black canvas being painted over with countless blushes by countless hands with no defined shape. A shifting glass pain with various colors placed over it so the light that passed through would shine a different hue. The shape of the world was simple, and yet so, so much more than what she understood at the moment. She could feel her heart ready to burst as her cries of pain became laughter, and her tears of agony became ones of joy.

She could see it! She could feel it, the shift and flow of the very world, not merely the small ball of rock which she sat upon. But beyond to the sun, the moon and even stars above, and oh, oh so so far away yet in the palm of her fingers. Distance could be circumvented as space was merely a medium for which all things existed inside of. Time could be shortened, for time was merely the measure which puny mortals like herself had created to understand the passage between moment to moment. It was beautiful, it was terrifying, it was new and miraculous, but above all, it was now her's to learn to control.

As the pain subsided, and Mimir looked down at her with a concerned gaze, Othinus sat up, her arms shaking with excitement.

Before opening a single glittering emerald eye.

"Wake up already Wothnaz!"

Groaning awake, Othinus sat up, finding an irritated Fukiyose glaring down at her with her arms crossed, the door open. Rolling her eyes, Othinus got out of her bed and tossed the sheets off, giving a small irritated glance at Fukiyose. "Could you not barge into my dorm room? I have enough to deal with regarding this shitty apartment and it's pathetic arrangement. I'd rather not be having my rest rudely interrupted by you making yourself at home, especially considering I'd rather share a room with my understander." She shook her head, groggily moving to the kitchenette as she rummaged around for something to eat.

Fukiyose gave a huff and straightened out, "I kinda have to when you oversleep! Look at you! Didn't even bother to change into any nightwear last night, you're still wearing the same thing! The others are already heading to school. We can't be having you late to class on your second day cause you ended up letting that idiot Kamijou influence you. So hurry it up before we miss homeroom," she clapped her hands trying to rush Othinus along as the former god turned esper growled under her breath.

"My… word! Just keep it down already okay? I can fucking hear you, and you're giving me a headache!" Othinus flashed an angry glare Fukiyose's way as she pulled out a small breakfast bar and began nibbling on it. "I was up till long past curfew last night trying to drill some basic esper principles into my moronic understander's skull. Honestly…" she sighed, tossing the wrapper aside, "no wonder that half pint teacher failed to teach him anything. Those shitty textbooks fail to break things down in a manner that is easy to understand for someone constantly dealing with chaos like him."

"Kamijou? Studying? That idiot?" Fukiyose laughed loudly, "sorry, it's just, as much as I'd love that to be the case. I'll believe it when I actually see an improvement in his classroom etiquette and grades." she scoffed a bit. "Now come on then! We don't have much time, you can rinse off in the showers at the gym if you need to, just brush your teeth and let's go!"

Holding her forehead, Othinus slammed the bathroom door behind her and turned on the faucet, quickly washing her face off and brushing her teeth. She honestly couldn't believe the audacity of that mortal girl, had she known who she truly was, she wouldn't be nearly this disrespectful. If anything, she would be on her hands and knees begging for forgiveness from her divine wrath and judgment. Heck, she might even bow down and worship her had she known just the extent of what and who Othinus was.

But… then again…

The entire point of this was that she didn't know and thus treated Othinus like anyone else she'd interact with throughout the day. When she looked at it like that… there was something… painfully bittersweet about that to the former head god. A tear formed in her eyes for a moment as she let the water run, and looked down into the drain with a bitter expression on her face. Her heart aching as it was filled with an unfamiliar sensation, one that made her wonder why she felt that way to begin with.

It wasn't like Fukiyose would keep treating her like a fellow classmate and friend if she learned she was the terrorist Othinus. Yet, despite knowing that Fukiyose's treatment of her was based on a false foundation that could crumble at any moment. Othinus couldn't help but find herself appreciating the brash rude manner in which the ironwall girl treated her with. Not making any exceptions just because she was a new girl, and rushing her to school because she wanted to see her succeed.

Pausing, Othinus thought back on the dream she had had just now as the water trickled down the drain. Her expression growing more lax as she mused over the memory and the possible meanings it held. Why now? And why so clearly like a flashback? She never looked back on the past, not since she lost her first nine worlds. And why that specific memory? The day where she drank from mimir's well for the first, and only time in her life and learned just how small she really was?

Was it because that was also the day where she had given up her humanity? The day where her path had become set in stone? Or was it because that was the day her story had truly begun and everything that came before was just the prologue? Even her and her ill fated brother's bout with the giant Yimir in the mountains of her home had just been stage setting.

Dreams had always held a profound importance in her culture, so she had trouble dismissing anything in them. From prophecy to self discovery, dreams often lit the way to understanding and knowledge in ways that waking thoughts couldn't. Such as how it was through dreams that a certain William Watt created the shot tower method of creating musket balls in 1782. Dreams were where the human mind worked it's hardest and connected seemingly unrelated dots to create new innovations.

So, what was the message her mind was trying to tell her this time? What did her dream have to do with her current situation?

Sighing, Othinus turned off the faucet and straightened out, suddenly pausing as her eyes met with another individual who happened to be there. The black haired girl who would look good in a miko outfit sitting on the stool with a dull expression on her face. Her pants still on having paused in the middle of taking them off when Othinus entered the bathroom. They stared at each other for a moment, as Himegami just blinked slightly and Othinus's eye twitched.

"... When did you get there? And how did I not sense your presence?" Othinus demanded, jabbing a finger at the vampire killer.

"I've been here since Fukiyose went to wake you Wothnaz… I was just about to use the stall when you busted in here." Himegami gazed emotionlessly at Othinus as she spoke matter of factly, "can I please have some privacy now?"

Facepalming, Othinus turned and exited, slamming the door shut behind her, "I swear, that girl has no presence! She was in there the whole time I was washing off and I didn't even notice her!? What seither sorcery is that!?" She shook her head as Fukiyose shrugged and walked over, handing Othinus a bread bun, much to the former god's confusion.

"Himegami? Beats me, I was about to warn you, but you already rushed inside before I could say anything." The iron wall girl gestured with her head, "come on then otherwise we'll even miss the first bell thanks to you sleeping in. I'd rather you not miss your second day because we delayed any further," she insisted and grabbed Othinus by the hand.

"Unhand me! Only one person can touch me so casually without permission," Othinus snapped suddenly. Before pausing and giving a sigh, "sorry… I acted on instinct, but please, try not to just grab my hand like that. Now, let's go," she said, forcing the urge to try and excuse her actions down as she headed out the front.

Fukiyose blinked in shock a moment before nodding gently, "r-right, I'm sorry, I didn't realize," she stammered slightly. Likely making some form of serious misunderstanding about Othinus's actions, "anyways we should be able to catch a monorail before they close for students. Come on," she said, gesturing as she began running along as if expecting Othinus would just follow her on trust alone.

Seriously these mortals were a handful.

Arriving at school, Othinus Fukiyose and Himegami opened the door to find the delta force already in the middle of one of their arguments. Or, more accurately, brawls as they could see the three grabbing, clawing and punching at each other with reckless abandon. Touma was pinning Aogami down, while twisting his leg, Tsuchimikado had Touma in a choke hold, and Aogami was biting on Tsuchimikado's own leg. Making the trio look like some kind of multi armed, multi legged, three headed abomination described in the works of lovecraft.

"She's not this Kamijou-san's girlfriend, you blue haired pervert!" Touma hissed as he was pulled back by Tsuchimikado.

"Nyah~ then why are you so protective of her Kami-yan?" Tsuchimikado gave a fake gasp, "could it be? You two are already husband and wife!?"

"You can't lie to me Kami-yan, I see the way you and that goddess of beauty look at each other! She's clearly lusting after you. And you can't even take your eyes off that knock out rear of her's" the pervert Aogami snapped as he began strangling Touma.

Her understander roared angrily, before twisting around and slamming his fist into Aogami's face as he elbowed Tsuchimikado's. "Thats IT! Just because you two are angry that this Kamijou-san has a friend who happens to be female and he just happens to be close with. One, doesn't mean he's in a relationship with her, and two, doesn't mean either of you get to perve about her even if he isn't in a relationship with her!"

His shouts caused Othinus to chuckle to herself in amusement with her arms crossed, proud that he was defending her. But making note to correct his little mistake and remind him that they were in fact a couple, even if he pretended they weren't. She didn't need any of the mortal girls getting any ideas about him after all, even if technically they weren't a thing legally. After all, she couldn't very well keep him safe if some random mortal bitch decided to try something and dragged him off.

However, Fukiyose did not take it so well as she went stomping over to the trio, her eyes twitching angrily. "What… in the world, do you idiots THINK YOU'RE DOING!?" she roared out, before her fists came down and struck them. Sending the trio careening into the floor with a crash as the busty girl reached down and grabbed Touma by the collar. "There only a minute before class and the three of you are already spreading indecent rumors about our newest member? Do you boy's have no shame?" she snapped before winding her arm back again, only for Othinus to grab her wrist.

"I wouldn't go slugging my understander in the face again if I were you," the former god's cold voice said, and a chill went through the room. "He was defending me, and although he did make one crucial mistake, I will not take kindly to some ignorant fool beating him because they thought he was being a pervert." Othinus's cold glare pierced into Fukiyose causing the girl to swallow nervously and gently put Touma down.

"Wh-why are you defending this idiot?" she asked, crossing her arms, unable to meet Othinus's gaze. "He's hopeless, lazy, and I bet he didn't even actually get his homework done, let alone help you with your's. I get you like him and all, but you don't need to make up stuff to defend his image, he won't improve that way." She huffed, turning her head away, only for Touma to raise his hand shakily, with a pained and hurt expression.

"Um… but Fukiyose-san" he sniffled, tears beginning to well in his eyes as he met the angry Ironwall girl's gaze. "I did manage to do my homework, and even got it in on time thanks to Wothnaz-chan," he said through tearful eyes. "I-I was actually really nervous this morning th-thinking something was about to go horribly wrong. A-and that I'd end up l-losing my work to some dumbass dog o-or a spray of water from a car passing by." He was practically bawling now, tears dripping down his face as he clung to the girl's arm and spoke between sobs "B-but thanks to Wothnaz-san's advice, I-I was able to keep my homework safe long enough to place it on Komoe's desk in the teacher's office. P-please Fukiyose-san, please don't lose faith in this hopeless Kamijou-san!" he cried out, begging his classmate.

Touma's crying face caused Othinus to blush as her heart skipped a beat slightly, before a thud reached their ears. Everyone in the class stared in their direction with looks of complete shock as their jaws hung open, minus Himegami. Even Fukiyose found herself at a loss for words as she slowly turned to Othinus in disbelief, a smug grin on the former god's face. Touma continuing to sniffle as he tried to regain his composure after the display of tears he had given. Managing to get ahold of himself despite the lack of faith or compassion his fellow classmate had shown him.

Seeing an opportunity, Othinus chuckled slightly, and crossed her arms, "oh yes~ me and my understander had quite the study session last night. In fact, thanks to his help, I went up a level," she teased, running a finger along Fukiyose's shoulder and causing frost to form. The girl yelping slightly as Othinus continued, "it may be limited to touch for now. And quickly revert to it's original state the moment my hand is taken away, but I can alter the temperature of objects now."

Fukiyose's eyes widened, her hands shaking and her lips quivering as she fell to her knees in despair. "Wh-what!? N-no impossible no way, K-Kamijou-Touma actually finished his homework… AND HANDED IT IN ON TIME!? What is the world coming too!?" she cried out, clutching her head as she sat there on the ground in shock. "N-no! that's a lie, it's gotta be, no way did that idiot actually do something for once after years of nothing but complaining and being lazy! I-I'd certainly like it to be true, b-but that's just not possible it-" she suddenly fell silent as Othinus placed a hand on her shoulder.

The poor Ironwall girl's face seemed to crack as she just sat there, unable to process what she was hearing. It was as if the entire world she knew had been revealed to be letters written on the pages of some lonely author's light novel. Everything she had ever thought to be true was upturned in an instant at the simple revelation that not only Touma had done his homework.

But that he had actually helped Othinus with her's.

Murmurs spread through the classroom and Touma gulped nervously as Othinus felt countless jealous glares sent her way. Her smug grin grew broader as she straightened out and helped Touma up, smiling ever so sweetly as the boy gave her a raised eyebrow. Gently guiding him to his seat before giving a sideways glance back towards some of the girls glaring at her.

"She went to Kamijou-san's place!? Is that even allowed!?" one hissed, hiding her mouth beneath a text book.

"Stupid bitch, waltzing in here like she owns the place and then snatching up Kamijou-san, we've known him longer than you." Another ignorant mortal snapped under their breath, their low snarl reaching her ears as they clenched their teeth.

"Damn it Kamijou you bastard, snatching yourself such a loyal and beautiful girl like that, I wanted a go at her." One of the males hissed quietly, causing Othinus's eye to twitch slightly in disgust, but she managed to prevent it from showing.

Touma sighed, having fully regained his composure, "Oth-" he caught himself, "Wothnaz-san was that really necessary? I can feel all the jealous stares and hateful gazes directed my way. Not to mention you entirely broke Fukiyose-san," he shook his head, "I don't mind her thinking I'm lazy. She seems to enjoy herself when she's reprimanding me, Aogami and Tsuchimikado, which is why we let her do it." His expression grew soft, "the smile on her face when she thinks she's helping us really warms our hearts."

Othinus suddenly fell silent again, seeing Touma's gentle expression as her heart skipped another beat. Before the door to the classroom opened and a horrified gasp was heard, causing everyone to turn to see the shocked Komoe. Her hand to her face as she looked into the classroom with teary eyes and quivered there before she cried out.

"My classroom is a warzone agaaaaaaaaiiin!"

Standing in a small warehouse across from a certain highschool with a window facing the classroom. A group of scientists sat observing with various equipment as one of them watched the former god through the window. Their long ranged scanners having been modified off of similar long ranged AIM-jamming devices used on a private reformatory in district 10. The scientists having repurposed them for research purposes so that they could observe their target without being nearby.

"Fascinating," one of them said as he looked through the data their computers were picking up, "only a day in and Othinus has gone up a level. Even the third ranked took years to develop into the powerhouse she is now, a shame that such time was wasted on her. She lacks the open-mindedness to develop that her friend does," they mused before the one looking out the window spoke up.

"Only in regards to the other side, her stubbornness mostly comes from her refusal to explore the more experimental aspects of her ability. Fearing she'll become like the first ranked esper as a result, a foolish, psychological block, but still, it restrains her potential. Besides,"

he lowered his binoculars, "she started from level zero unlike our former terrorist here."

A nod came from the final scientists who was looking over some of the documents on their target. "True, not to mention its possible our friend here has had prior experience, theres another student in that school. Tsuchimikado Motoharu, he's allegedly a level zero yet some reports state he has been witnessed using some form of power unrelated to his ability. However… the reports are dubious, and it was difficult to get a hold of, the encryption needed required I pull a few strings from the board."

The first scientist scratched his chin, "true, and information on Othinus is quite restricted, even more so than the level fives. However it was common knowledge that she managed to transport herself and her ally from Toyko bay all the way to denmark. Giving herself something equivalent to a level five teleportation ability, although its unclear how or why she can no longer use it."

The second scientist turned and leaned back against the window, "I seem to recall hearing about a compatibility issue. She was turned into an esper in hopes that it would lock her potential away and eliminate her as a threat to the world. But that would directly contradict the idea of her experience allowing her to rank up more easily," he mused.

The third scientist raised an eyebrow, "how do you know so much? I know she was public enemy number one. But knowledge of her is limited to the board chairmen himself, not even the highest ranked members of the board have that information. I tried to gather some but hit a wall quite quickly," he crossed his arms placing down the documents he was looking at.

"Lets just say there were a number of people eager to talk after Othinus betrayed her little group during denmark. I managed to get into contact with one who had been captured by the Academy city intervention team at Baggage city. I think… his name was Utgard, named after a figure from norse mythology known for his illusions," they mused. "He didn't tell me much, but he did let me know that their techniques are directly opposed to the power curriculum. However I had to let him go shortly after as some political individual from the English church came to take custody of him."

"Thats quite fascinating, wasn't there something similar that happened with that Vento woman during the Catholic's attack on this city?" The first scientist scratched his own chin, "I would normally think we should look further into our subjects background. But we've drawn enough attention from them as is, for now, let us get results before we make any waves."

"Fair enough," the third scientist noted, "based on the data, I estimate she could reach level five in about a month, maybe two. The first few levels are easy, however her progress should slow down immensely after that, still impressive though." He pushed his glasses up, "of course, thats only if we aren't missing something that may hinder or expedite her growth."

Not long after Komoe arrived to find her students brawling again, classes continued as usual. Except this time, Othinus was much more attentive, listening carefully to every word the small pink haired teacher said. Noting down details even as small as the nuances between how personal interests and beliefs can influence the manifestation of AIM. Knowing that every aspect was important to her development as a newly christened esper of the power curriculum.

She found particular interest in the description of personal reality itself, and how it was similar in nature to phases. Something she found she was not entirely shocked by, knowing the person who was in charge of the city to begin with. Suspecting the so-called silver star had worked in some of his own ideologies when designing the system that was Academy city. Which gave way to a fairly unique question, one which only someone who had experience as a magic god would think to ask.

'Could the phase I originally created as a magic god count as my personal reality?'

Was that what her dream was trying to tell her? Connecting the macro of the phases like the one she had made using Yimir's corpse. To the micro of the quantum uncertainty espers manipulate with their minds, such as the original gemstones magic was based on. Those old gods whom people like her had overthrown for various reasons in order to become the new gods.

It wasn't entirely out there, the phase she had unleashed onto all those years ago using Yimir's energy had been created with her own biases. Her dreams, desires, preconceptions and prejudice, despite having been taken from another, she had made it her own. So, in its own way it could classify as her 'personal reality' could it not? Of course, she had no doubt that the phase she released onto the world with her hanging, and one formed with the power curriculum were different in practice. But that didn't mean they couldn't be related in theory, which was a concept she was very eager to look into.

However, even with that angle, Othinus still felt she was missing some vital piece to properly understand what it was her dream had been trying to tell her. If it was saying that her personal reality and the phase she originally created were the same, then why not start with the day she released it onto the world? Why start with the well, even starting with the primordial Jotun Yimir would have made more sense in that regard.

She was just finishing up writing down her notes from physics class regarding the various forms of energy transfer. One of her favorite subjects actually, when the door to the room was suddenly thrown open, startling the students. Before murmurs then began to spread and the clicking of footsteps entered the room, causing Othinus to look up.

Striding into the room, with long black hair that reached to her shoulders held back by a headband exposing her forehead. Was a young woman a year or so older physically than her understander with a fairly gifted chest and brown eyes. Although she wore the same uniform as Othinus, it was clear she had chosen one a little too small for her, exposing her navel. Likely a purposeful style choice on the young woman's part, Othinus felt she was vaguely familiar in some way.

"Whats the beauty senpai doing here?" one of the girl's near Othinus whispered.

"No idea, but she's been on edge ever since the semester started I heard," another said in a hushed tone.

"Think it's got something to do with the fact they restarted the semester?" a third muttered, "or… maybe," a quick glance Othinus's way.

Pausing, the young woman's gaze scanned the room before noticing Othinus, a slight twitch in her brow before she turned. Striding over to Othinus, the young woman slammed her palm against the desk, glaring down at Othinus with contempt. Her remaining hand placed against her hip, her gaze hiding a clear level of irritated envy, leading Othinus to suspect she had an idea what the upperclassmen was going to ask.

"Alright… what… in the world… are you doing here you one eyed, terrorist bitch," the young woman snarled. Her voice low as she spat each word out with a clear level of hostility, "don't you dare even think I don't know who, and what you are."

Murmurs began to spread, as Othinus merely smirked, "im studying, taking my classes, and doing my notes. What are you doing here… and have we met? Cause I don't recall the two of us ever crossing paths before now… Komukawa Seria." The former wargod flashed a sneer at the woman before her, having remembered fully who the young woman before her was.

After all, how could she forget the older sister of the girl whom she had seen back in Baggage city when she and Touma first met. The woman who, in the many countless hells, often would stalk after the boy, and in one or two, manipulated things to get him alone. She had been one of the many tools this war god had used to try and break the boy who refused to be broken. Even if she had never tried to personally get to know her, as her actual identity had no real meaning to Othinus.

Seria leaned in, their foreheads nearly touching as she met Othinus's cold gaze with an equal one of her own. "Oh don't play dumb with me, One eyed Othinus," she hissed quietly so that no one would overhear them, "you're an actual terrorist. An International one at that who caused chaos all over the world and murdered countless innocent people. So… what, in the actual, fuck are you doing, in my school? Let alone anywhere near my precious, sweet, innocent little Kouhai," she growled, threateningly.

Othinus's demeanor almost immediately changed, and she slowly stood from her seat, straightening herself out. Her eyes were shadowed as she chuckled darkly, hair hanging over her face as she slowly reached to her eyepatch. Pulling it off to reveal twin emerald eyes before tossing it aside and meeting Seria's stunned gaze her own. Her piercing glare making the older looking girl shift uncertainly as the former war god spoke in a hushed tone.

"Your… Kohai," she began, chuckling before she sneered, "your Kohai? Kamijou Touma? Yes?" she said. "The same Kouhai whom you hide away in the shadows from, fearing what he might say if he discovered what twisted, cruel things you did in the name of protecting him? Fearing the judgment he may pass onto you for working with the dark underbelly of this city which has caused so much suffering? The same kouhai who would reach his hand out to the most cruel and despicable people and pull them out of the dark? The same Kouhai you couldn't be bothered to follow into the depths of hell cause you were too busy whining about how little he pays attention to you? Despite the fact you are the one who chose not to remind him of the history you two shared and did nothing to reconnect with him?" She leaned her head in over Seria's shoulder and whispered directly into her ear, "the same kouhai. Who fought the entire planet to save me, and that as a result, I am here to protect from threats, exactly… like… you."

"Get off me you one eyed Terrorist!" Seria snapped quietly, shoving Othinus back a bit and jabbing a finger at her. "The only threat to my Kouhai here is you, he doesn't need some manipulative blond bitch messing with his head. So you better not try anything, cause I got my eye on you… understood?" she growled under her breath with a clear promise.

Hurt Touma in any way, and she would come for her.

A chuckle came from Othinus as her eyes narrowed, "I could say the same about you, brain of the board. My understander doesn't need protection, but he has enough to deal with as is, so im here to make sure he doesn't need to take care of everyone's bullshit. Lighten the load for him if you will…" she gave a casual gesture and shrugged, "why else would I enroll here?" she said in a hushed manner.

Sparks flew between the two of them, as Othinus only felt her grin broaden further ever so slightly under Seria's intense gaze. The two locking eyes for a long moment waiting for the other to give in before Seria finally huffed, and turned away. Striding out the door before slamming it shut behind her, leaving Othinus to smirk to herself as a collective breath was released.

"Did you see that!?" one of the students asked in a hushed tone.

"No kidding, she just got Beauty senpai to back down! She never backs down," another whispered, hand covering their face.

"I heard she was intense, but I didn't think she could handle senpai so easily!" a third muttered, eyeing Othinus from afar, before the former war god finally spoke.

"So… that's my so-called 'competition'?" she asked herself and chuckled.

"This won't even be a contest."

"No human, the letter that goes in the parenthesis after the V is not multiplied by V, it's a function meant to represent potential energy of the particle. It's the schrodinger equation," Othinus gave a short sigh, "honestly, no wonder you fail so badly in your classes. How are you meant to understand how personal reality works, if you don't understand the theories that go behind it? Oi, you… nun, stop trying to nab my potato-fries!" she said, slapping away Index's hand as she leaned back.

Touma, Index and her were sitting at a booth in the family restaurant known as Josephs, working on their homework. Having brought Index along so as not to leave her feeling alone and hungry, if just to prevent her causing Touma more problems. A large order of potato fries sat in front of Othinus which she was lazily dipping into a saucer of ketchup besides an order of fried fish.

Touma groaned, rubbing his head, "I just…don't get how these numbers, letters and symbols are meant to help me understand how waveforms work. Like, what do they expect me to do with these equations?" he sighed, "yeah, I get most espers use them for calculations. But like… what calculations go into deep blood? What about that crazy stuff Gunha does? Not to mention me. I don't need calculations for Imagine breaker, so why does it matter to me?" he asked, sighing.

Othinus placed the tip of a potato fry in her mouth, and chewed lazily, "well, I'll admit, that knowing and understanding are two can understand something, without knowing the equations or history that goes into it, just as you understand me. And you can know the equations on how something works, without necessarily understanding why it works." Leaning forward, she set her elbow against the table and pointed with her fry. "Equations such as this are really just a tool meant to help understand what's going on in any given system. I don't necessarily agree with their way of teaching, as it's much too broad and doesn't account for the varying ways people learn. But, it is proven to work for the majority, still, only those given exceptional focus have turned out exceptional themselves."

Index perked up, looking at the equation, "hey that's the same stuff I saw in Komoe's book explaining schrodinger's theory! It's meant to determine wave functions within a quantum something or other system right? The 'h' with the line through the top represents the… reduced plank constant? Which is used to determine a photon's energy right? Othinus, Othinus, whats a photon?" she tilted her head, as Touma merely gawked at her and the former war god blinked.

"A photon is a massless subatomic particle which forms what humans call light, I'm shocked you got so far without knowing that." Othinus raised an eyebrow at the nun who pouted back, and crossed her arms in irritation at the pagan god before her.

"After last night, I looked through Touma's school books to see what I could learn. I didn't want him relying on an untrustworthy magic god for help." She huffed, turning her head away again, as a clear nervous sweat began to form on her brow, and Touma facepalmed.

Othinus chuckled, "you didn't understand a single word of it, did you?" she asked and the nun awkwardly coughed. "Thought so, to be honest, without context, its all just word vomit, so its useless to an inept, technophobe like yourself. You'd be better off starting from scratch and learning basic algebra first, your times tables and what not," she teased.

"Othinus-chan, please can we not?" Touma asked, trying to deescalate the situation, but it was a bit too late.

Standing to her feet, Index glared, "are you implying im dumb?" she snapped, "I'll have you know, I can successfully use the microwave now without it blowing up! How dare you call me dumb," she said, pouting angrily as Othinus only chuckled again, shaking her head in amusement.

"I never said you were dumb, nor implied it, you have to be a genius to be able to understand magic and handle 103,000 grimoires. However, because all of that intellect was focused on magic, you have no room for basic everyday life skills like cooking. Let alone complex equations like those found in quantum mechanics and relativity," Othinus smugly grinned, dipping her fry into her ketchup and taking another bite.

Grinding her teeth, Index gave a cute growling sound as she tensed her muscles, glaring at Othinus before Touma interrupted. "That's enough you, two cut it out!" he stated, placing his hand on the table between them, and glaring around. "Index, me and Othi came here to do our homework, and while I appreciate your concern, you don't need to worry about me." He turned to face Othinus, "Othinus, we brought Index here so that she wasn't left hungry while we hung out. Not to start a fight because we were feeling a bit bored okay?" he sighed, "besides, you said you were going to pay the bill right?"

Groaning, Othinus sat back down and pouted, nibbling on her fry, "fine then human… but she started it this time. And yes, thanks to my level increase, my funds have gone up substantially," her eyes narrowed, "a bit… too substantially. As a result it means I have some cash to throw around, not as much as I would If I had access to my old treasury. But enough to get us a nice meal and a couple of expensive gifts," she smiled, "that is… if you don't mind high prices."

Index's eyes suddenly widened, and she jolted back to her feet, "Touma Touma, can we can we!? I need new clothes. And sphinx could use something for the holidays too," she insisted, causing Touma to grow a bit flustered. "Please? I'm tired of needing to wash out my habit every other day while you're out at school," she pouted.

"Th-that really depends, wh-where do you intend to bring us Othi-chan?" Touma asked, nervously.

"Oh, thats quite easy human," Othinus smirked, causing the boy to pale, "we're going to the dianoid all the way in district 12." She chuckled, "don't worry… I'll only make you buy me one gift, I'll handle the rest of the bill," the god of deception teased.

Before Touma's shoulders sagged, and those fateful words slipped his lips.

"Fukouda…"

In a place with no concept of time or space, a black void which stretched out infinitely, yet not at all, where a second was eternity, yet also never been. Three figures could be seen, and their presence felt despite the lack of light, depth or color for them to be visible. Or any gravity and earth for them to stand on, those three beings who had made their home in a hidden realm beyond the world which even Othinus had not reached. Be it by choice, or merely ignorance…

One was an elderly wrinkled man draped in gaudy robes like those of a buddhist priest who had fallen into greed. The reds and purples of his cloak matching the disgusting greed represented by the golden scepter he held in on wrinkled hand.

Second was a mature woman with darker skin from a more southern climate wrapped in nothing but bandages like those of a mummy. Her long silver white hair draped over her shoulders, reaching to her waist as she gave an almost sad expression. Her eyes changing color with every blink, as a diamond and teardrop symbol could be seen below either one.

Finally, a pale skin young looking girl dressed in white china dress with large baggy sleeves and gold embroidery. A white hat similar to those of chinese emperor's placed upon her head where short black hair could be seen reaching to her neck. But most notable beyond her emerald green eyes was the warding charm slapped against her forehead.

They were the magic gods, only three out of the countless that had existed in this world before the silver star had come to lay waste to it. Having subtly influenced the world to create someone who would serve to wield their vast power, and took advantage of Othinus's own plans to experiment.

Whether Othinus had merely been ignorant, or just never had reason to seek out the realm of her fellow gods. There was likely no way she could have accessed the hidden world without invitation by the other magic gods. For this hidden realm had been crafted by their collective wills explicitly to resist their infinite power so they would not destroy the world as a whole.

And in that empty void devoid of concept, the old man spoke despite there being no concept of sound, let alone matter or air for it to travel through.

"Are we ready… nephthys? Was it finished in time?" he spoke with a dry, creaky voice that fit his elderly appearance.

"Yes… it was much to our fortune, that zombie girl's background allowing her to draw in a great number of cultures can be quite useful at times like this." The bandaged woman spoke with a young, seductive and bewitching tone, "she has an affinity for near anything. It is truly quite a shame that our little playground here was destroyed as soon as she had completed it."

With a younger, almost bratty sounding voice, the pale chinese girl spoke next, "as much as I respect a fellow undead! Even if miss Zombie's theory is correct, High priest, aren't we just going to be holding up two opposing mirrors?" They gave a playful giggle, "that way we can split our power up infinitely and intentionally weaken ourselves. Allowing us to exist in the world below without destroying it by simple moving an arm or leg?" she asked.

The elderly man, High priest spoke once again, "what of it Naing Naing?" he asked, almost disinterestedly.

"Just that, I was curious if the symbol of infinity will really somehow get smaller if you divide it by itself. We may be chasing after that one eyed thief who seems to think she's too good to be a god anymore. But I'm not exactly keen on shattering the whole of the world simply by stepping inside it, we aren't like her." Her voice had a clear sense of disdain for the individual she was referring to, as she spat it out… and the grudge of a god was a dangerous thing indeed.

The bandaged woman, Nephthys gave a sorrowful sigh, "Othinus may have failed to make him into our sheath and scorer. But we too hold part of the blame for letting that old god run around unchecked, she is Odin after all," a shake of the head. "I can't believe how horribly that whole debacle went, at least had the fairy spell went through we would have had an even chance. But thanks to a quirk of fate and coincidence we foolishly ignored, he managed to perfectly save her. And now he'll have even less reason to turn to us for help," she shook her head before High priest spoke once more

"Then we must correct this error, as long as the spell zombie made works, it doesn't matter if its a deception. Just as the mobius strip, or klein bottle, some concepts can exist without being properly defined," he explained, clearly smug in his tone.

The old wrinkled god may have been referring to how things like the mobius strip and klein bottle were geometric shapes with a mathematical surface area of zero. Despite very clearly having physical presence, much like how mathematics allows for the existence of negative mass despite it violating the laws of physics.

However, what he actually meant, was likely referring to the concept of nestled infinities, in which a single infinity was held within a larger set of infinite somethings. Such as the infinite layers of the phases being contained within the infinite dimensions of the ever expanding universe. And how within those phases, the infinite cosmologies of hindu, chinese and even greek mythologies were contained.

The brattish Naing Naing spoke up once again, her voice more determined, "yeah… yeah! You're right! That thieving bitch! Just who does she think she is? Taking all our hard work and giving up her power just to become an esper! Who the hell does she think she is? Not like she ever earned that power anyways, she stole her old phase, yet she's acting like she's too good to be a magic god?" She scoffed a bit, "hmph! She should be glad we haven't smited her mortal ass for this insult! Luckily it means we still have a chance. What good would a human like her have against we three gods?" she sighed, "still… I hope this works, I've always preferred practical ideas rather than theories."

High Priest chuckled, "then, why don't we try it for ourselves? The others have already gone on ahead after all."

"Normally? I'd ask if we should be turning the world into our toy so casually~" Naing Naing gave a dark giggle. "Buut… that was before she was involved… so why not?" she declared, "lets cause some chaos for our dear friend Othinus." Naing Naing grinned as all three of the gods turned to face the same direction within that void oh so similar to the black labyrinth.

And with that single act, the concept of direction itself was made manifest within that directionless void. Bringing with it the concepts of time, space, and depth, before finally manifesting itself as reality within that darkness. With the bandaged Nephthys singing out in her enchanting voice that could be thought to ensnare the minds of any who heard it.

"Hello world~" she declared as a heavy crash echoed out and the darkness became lighter.

"Hello, science side," the old High priest creaked out, and a thin line stretched across upward from the horizon in that darkness.

"Hello~ Academy city!" Naing naing's childish voice chimed, and the metallic double doors of a metal container swung open. Fresh air flooded in and filled the three god's physical lungs with the scent of the city of science as they set their sights on a shared goal.

"Lets go snatch that Imagine breaker back from the one eyed god then, shall we?"

A/N:Aaaand thats a wrap… sorry the quality dropped so much, the writing of this chapter was spread between like, months in a row. And me and rails had a falling out at some point If I recall in the middle of it? Although my memory is hazy on the matter. Not to mention I then lost lots of motivation due to… seasonal issues. And realized, while I got loads of great plans for later in the story… I got jack all on how to get there… or why!

Its odd really, I had a pretty clear vision with LoCG which took place after current GT on a alternate timeline. But now that im working within the existing timeline, and having to consider how Othi's esper presence would effect things from NT12 onwards… im kinda stuck. Thats the issue with such a compressed timeline, it works against fic writers doing alternate history type stories.

Still, I did at least have a basic plan laid out, so I knew/know how I wanted this chapter and the first arc to play out. And even a few scene ideas here and there regarding character interactions in various scenes. But, the real trick will be making alternate versions of existing novels while keeping it interesting enough to read. I mean… heck, im about to tackle the introduction of St. Germain… and the entire Kamisato arc… at least the latter I got a good idea to how Othi's presence will screw over WR, but gaaaahhh damn you NT12! And your convoluted plot!

Anyways, the start of this chap was actually kinda difficult to get, as I had no idea what to do at first. The flashback idea was one I think I first got from Superboy, but may have spoken to with rails about first. However the Original draft was… sub par at best lets just say, with me settling on her first trip to mimir's spring in the end. I had to actually go back and make sure I didn't already show it for continuity reasons, luckily… I hadn't so I was able to work it in.

From there it was mostly smooth sailing, although all the scenes did go through one or two iterations. With me keeping an obligatory, invisible Himegami joke, I hope you like it, in for the laughs, before doing the next scene. The classroom scene went through a complete overhaul, from them arriving in the middle of class, to them before it began and changing the deltaforce argument entirely due to the fight feeling forced originally. Of course, I also used it to show off Othi's ability having improved a bit and add in another joke regarding Touma's bad grades.

The scene after that was also difficult and actually came after a bit of a delay, so I suspect it feels off. I wanted to have the scientists observing Othi, as that was always the plan, but I feel some of what they said may be a bit… I don't know. Still, I don't think its a stretch for them to know about things like gremlin and espers not being able to use magic, even if they don't know it's magic. It also however allowed me to further explain their curiosity and fascination with Othinus and set seeds for later story plots.

Othinus's banter with Seria was another thing I wanted to do, as no way she'd just leave Othi be when she moved in. NT9 provided a perfect explanation for how Othinus and why Othinus should know, 90% of the people Touma is close to. While also giving me wiggle room for how she'd view them, and I hope you enjoyed their little banter.

The diner scene was ne I added in for more SoL action and showing the growing bond between Touma, Othi and Index. With her talking about quantum mechanics, and shroginder's principle (Superboy actually was a unsung hero secretly fixing my explanation in the background. And providing more accurate scientific mathematics to the story, so give him and his parody story RoAD[Repository of Accidental Deities] a look.) And adding some banter between Othi and Index as a way to show the more sibling like Dynamic I intend to build.

With the final scene, its basically an alternate version of the one from the start of NT12 and went through its own overhaul. I originally stuck too close to what was in NT12 without adding my own twist, before then going over and rewriting it. I wanted to use it as a way to sorta clear up a few common misconceptions regarding Othi's relation to those MGs. Specifically regarding the pure world and her as a 'failed' experiment, as people often ignore the context.

The first of those being that she was a failure due to not being able to reach the pure world… cause no? The entire 'failure' had nothing to do with Othinus herself, but rather her effect on Touma, the failure is in her making Touma her understander. The second of these misconceptions is that she is 'weaker' than the other MGs cause she doesn't shatter the world simply by existing. Its like trying to say a nuclear powerplant produces less energy than a nuclear warhead just cause it doesn't wipe a city off the map when it melts down. There is never been a statement declaring her weaker, even when regarding the hidden phase which she never had reason to seek out to begin with. A phase, created with the explicit purpose of containing the power of every MG ever to exist, so its very laughable to try and use that as a reason she's weaker. The only difference we know for a fact exists, is the fact Othinus used Gungnir as a way to (control) her power. Like a control rod regulating the energy output in a nuclear reactor so it doesn't melt down.

I also used that scene as a way to focus on the MG's disdain and general saltiness towards Othi. Cause… yeah… as admitted by neph in NT14, the entire reason they came to earth was cause they were upset she got to Touma first. Aliester destroying their hidden world just accelerated those plans and forced them to descend to earth sooner. It is quite amusing once you realize, as then it paints the MGs as just a bunch of salty jealous children who are upset that one of the other kids got the cool toy first.

Anyways, thats all from me, so for now, let us close this book on an infinity.
