On the snow covered plains of south eastern Utah the hooves of a horse could be seen stomping against the ground on top of the horse riding the animal is a young man about seventeen years of age wearing a jean jacket with and a poncho over it he wore a cowboy hat blue jeans boots and had a glock 19 at his side.

As he rides across the snow covered plains he could see something moving cross the ground it was a sheep one that had wondered away from it farm " Trot" the young man says and the horse begins to walk a little faster but not fast enough to startle the sheep. As they came closer to the sheep a large coyote runs and kills the sheep instantly.

" Whoa" He says causing the horse to stop .The young man looks at the coyote and notices it's eyes were yellow. This cause him to slowly reach for his side arm the coyote looks at him but then turns around and runs off with the sheep in it's mouth into a canyon one that is forbidden to enter. he gestures the horse to turn around " Walk" he says as as the horse began to walk back to where they came.

Yavin 4

Inside a command room Hera Syndulla was walking towards the center of the room to meet with the leaders of the rebellion " You wanted to see me senator" Hera said as she was looking at senator Mon mothma who was looking at a holo map of the systems controlled by the empire " Yes General Syndulla" Mon Mothma said to her.

" Are spies report of a planet in the unkown regions one that the empire has no record of" Mon Mothma said to her " A planet in the unkown regions are you sure?" Hera asked. " Yes from what are spies have gathered the planet is inhabited by only humans" Mon Mothma said. Hera looked at the leader of the rebellion " So what me and my team to travel to this planet and try to get them to join us before the empire gets to them?" Hera asked already knowing the answer.

Mon Mothma nods " Me and my team will leave as soon a possible" Hera says as she turns to leave the command room.

On board the ghost Hera had ordered the her team to gather for a mission briefing " So where is this planet exactly?" Zeb asked as he folded his arms " From what are spies were able to gather the Planet resides in the unkown regions" Hera told him.

" Hera why would we be going to a planet that is far beyond the reaches of the galaxy let alone any known system?" Sabine asked her not liking of going to the far reaches of space to find one planet. " Because Sabine this planet hasn't been spotted nor occupied by the empire and the only ones that inhabit the planet are humans so the three of you would have to explain things to natives.

Kanan Jarrus who was'close' to Hera looked at her with a raised eyebrow " three of us but it's just me and Sabine" Kanan said to her. Hera looked at him with a smirk. and this caused him to groan " Let me guess Rex is coming with us isn't he?" Kanan asked her " And Ahsoka Is coming along as well" Hera told him. This Caught Kanan's attention Ahsoka was the former student of Anakin Skywalker.

Before Kanan could say anything a door opened to reveal Rex and Ahsoka " Are we late?' Rex asked as he walked into the room " No we where just about to head out " Hera said to them. Hera said as she and the others except Kanan and Ahsoka walked towards the cockpit " Ahsoka I take it there's a reason as to why you wanted to come with us on this mission?" Kanan asked her.

Ahsoka nodded her head " I felt something in the force about this planet as if someone or something was calling to me" Ahsoka told Kanan.

This caused Kanan to place his hand under his chin " Know that you mention I felt as if the force it shelf had shifted" Kanan said as he looked at Ahsoka " What do you think it means?" He asked her.

"I'm not sure but if we had felt then there's a good chance that the inquisitors had felt it to including 'him' " Ahsoka said.

On the Reservation

The young man had made home to his family farm as he made is way to the stables he could see others tending to there duties as feeding the animals or repairing the animal pens. He rides his horse to the stable and ties him to a wooden beam as his father walks in " Ezra" Tyee said getting his sons attention

" where is the sheep" He asked his son. Ezra lets out a sigh and looks at his father " A Coyote got to the sheep killed it instantly" Ezra said to his father. Tyee nodded his head " The eyes?" He asked " Yellow" Ezra answered.

His father nodded his head once more " did it go into the canyon?" He asked his son even tough he already knew the answer.

" Yes" Ezra answered. Tyee let out a sigh and places his hand on his son's shoulder " You did the best you could but I'm proud that you stayed out of that 'canyon' " Tyee said to his son. Ezra nodded his head.

Later that night

Ezra is seen helping his mother in the kitchen washing and drying dishes " Thank you for helping me Son" Mika said to her son " Your welcome Mom" Ezra said to her. But she caught something when he spoke it's almost as if he sounded unhappy.

" Ezra is everything okay" she asked her son " Fine mom just-" Ezra stopped to let out a deep sigh " I'm just tired of being held back because of the skin-".

" Ezra Enough!" His mother said to him in a loud and not pleased voice.

" I know you don't like being restricted from getting the livestock back from those beasts but you know are rules everyone on the reservation must follow them and because your father is the tribal chief he and the other elders of the tribe have these rules to keep us safe" Mika said as she held her son's shoulders.

" You may not like it but this how things are the spirits are something that should never be challenged especially the one that you saw" Mika said to him.

Ezra nodded at his mother's words he knew that the animal he saw wasn't just an average coyote but a demons one that comes from a legend that has been handed down from generations. "Yes mom and I'm sorry" Ezra apologized to his mother. Mika pats him on the shoulder " It's okay Ezra Now why don't you get ready for bed I'll finish up here " Mika said to him Ezra nods and leaves the kitchen.

In orbit of Yavin 4

Hera was in the cockpit of the ghost typing in the coordinates for the planet in the unkown regions Sabine was with her " so how long is it going to take us to get to this planet?" Sabine asked the ships captain " about three days so get comfortable because were not leaving this ship until we land" Hera said as she and Sabine watch the ship enter hyper space.

( Here's a new second chapter for the story i deleted the others except for the first one because I wanted to take in another direction then what I had originally planned so I hope you like it)
