Chapter 14: The Truth Comes Out.
Harry has been going to Hogwarts for three years, and except for his last two Defense Against The Dark Arts professors, he hasn't seen one of the professors do anything with their magic other than teach, and Harry has never gotten to see Dumbledore do anything other than a few tricks. But now, as he stood there watching Snape, Professor McGognagall, and Professor Dumbledore stand in front of him, Ron, and Hermione, blocking them from Sirius Black and Loki, with their wands out pointing at them, he fully appreciated just how powerful the Hogwarts staff were.
Dumbledore turned for a moment, waved his wand, and on either end of the corridor, the suits of armor and statues came to life and blocked all the entrances leading to them so that no one could leave or enter this corridor.
Loki looked both ways then chuckled. "That's a neat little trick, I'll have to learn that."
"I want to know why you came to my school, what you were planning, and how much danger my students are in?" Dumbledore demanded.
"None, " Loki answered, "I never have nor would I ever harm a child."
"Really?" Snape snarled, "How many children do you think were in New York City last June?".
"That wasn't his fault." Sirius snapped, "Shut up about things you know nothing about."
"With the Dark Lord gone, I should have known the first thing you'd do is find another to align yourself with," Snape said.
"It doesn't surprise me that you'd follow Dumbledore and McGonagall here; you always did have a problem keeping your abnormally large nose out of other people's business," Sirius said.
"Did we mention we alerted the ministry that there may be a dangerous criminal roaming Hogwarts? We called about him, but with luck, they'll bring enough dementors for the both of you. I'll ensure I'm there when you two get a little kiss." Snape said.
"Let's get a few things straight," Loki said, "first, the only one in this realm or any other I'm interested in kissing is Sirius Black." Snape curled his lip at that. "And second, I am a God, your punty little dementors do not affect me, and third, do not ever threaten Sirius again. If you do, well, I once threw Tony Stark out a window at the top of his precious tower, do not think I would hesitate for one second to grab you by the silly little robes you wizards wear and throw you out that window."
Loki pointed at the window to his left, and Snape paled a little but tried to hide it by scoffing. Sirius reached out and laid his hand on Loki's back, trying to calm him down.
"Reigny, this isn't helping anything; as entertaining as it would be to watch you toss Snape out the window, it won't help to get Dumbledore or Harry to believe us," Sirius said. Loki turned to Sirius, and his look softened.
"You're right," Loki said, his anger fading. Ron leaned toward Hermione and Harry.
"He has a point, you know?" Ron whispered.
"Who?" Hermione whispered back.
"Loki, about wizard robes, they are a bit silly, muggle clothes are much more comfortable and easier to move around in," Ron explained.
"Yes, I agree, but this isn't the time to debate wizard attire," Hermione said.
"I did not come to Hogwarts to hurt anyone," Loki said, stopping Ron and Hermione's conversation, "There are two reasons we came here, the evidence that proves Sirius is an innocent man is in this castle, and the other reason is Sirius and I want our son back."
"Son?" Professor McGonagall demanded, "I assure you none of the students in this school is your son."
"Really? Are you positive about that, Minvera?" Loki asked, "Because I'm positive the son I gave birth to almost fourteen years ago is a student at this school."
"Gave birth to?" Snape demanded, "You're a man."
"Hello, shape-shifting God of Mischief here," Loki said, pointing at himself.
"Do you have short-term memory loss?" Sirius demanded. "Do you not remember seeing Loki as a woman a moment ago? Or all year?"
"Which student do you believe to be your child?" Dumbledore asked, talking over whatever Snape was about to reply.
Loki didn't voice an answer, instead, he leaned his head a little to see behind McGonagall, where Harry was standing, looked him right in the eyes and gave him a little wave, everyone turned to look at him.
"Are you claiming Harry Potter is your son?" Dumbledore demanded.
"It isn't me," Harry said, stepping out from behind McGonagall, "I know who my parents are."
"Do you have proof of that?" Loki asked, "Or are you just going by what everyone has told you?"
"Potter is the son of Lily Evans," Snape said.
"Harry is the adopted son of Lily Evans." Loki corrected. Causing Snape to frown deeply, he and McGonagall were the only two still pointing their wands at him. And Ron and Hermione had come out from behind Dumbledore and Snape.
"We could have broken that to him easier," Sirius said. Then he turned to Harry. "He's telling the truth, you are our son. Sorry about Reigny just blurting it out like that, he never had much tack."
"Hey, " Loki said, turning to glare at Sirius.
"But you're a bloke." Ron blurted out; he was talking to Sirius. "And he's...or she.." he frowned.
"I was, of course, in my female form when Sirius got me pregnant." Loki said, "Your mother has seven children. I am sure there is no need to explain how a man and a woman..."
"No," Ron interrupted, covering his ears as his face turned red, Loki looked amused by his reaction.
"I'm about to become sick just from hearing that much," Snape said, making a face.
"I'm starting to reconsider allowing you to throw him out of the window," Sirius said to Loki.
Loki winked at him and then turned to Harry. "It's true, Harry. I am your mother. Yes, I am a shape-shifter, which means I can shift into the form of another or even an animal, but none of those are a part of who I am; my female form is me as much as my male form. I identify as genderfluid, sometimes I feel a bit feminine, and I take the form you know as Professor Ikol, in that form, I am entirely female with all women working parts. So, yes I can have children."
"I don't care if you can have children, that doesn't mean I'm your kid; you made a mistake," Harry said. "My parents are James and Lily Potter, everyone says I look just like my father, but with my mum's eyes."
"That last bit is true," Loki replied, "You do look like your father." Loki pointed to Sirius, who raised his hand. The H tattoo on his arm seemed to glare at Harry. "And you do have your mother's eyes." Loki pointed to his own eyes, which Harry refused to look at, instead he looked away; Loki gave him a sympathetic look, he wasn't even mad or hurt with Harry's denial, he went through the same thing not long ago, and he knows how Harry felt.
"I have a question," Dumbledore said. "Are you truly the same Reigna Ikol that arrived all those years ago to help fight Voldemort, the one who gave me information that put a lot of Death Eaters in Azkaban? That Reigna Ikol is the same as the Loki that attacked muggle New York, killing dozens of innocent people. I find that hard to believe."
"That wasn't his fault..He.." Sirius tried to say, but Loki touched his arm, and Sirius stopped talking, and they looked at each other before Loki turned back to Dumbledore.
"I am, my mother Frigga asked me to come to Midgard and help stop Voldemort," Loki replied.
"Then, did you truly want to fight Voldemort, or were you doing it because your mother sent you?" Dumbledore demanded.
"I honestly was and still am against Voldemort and anyone on his side," Loki said. "New York usually isn't my way of doing things. I wasn't myself then."
"You claim to be a God," McGonagall said, "Why couldn't you put an end to You-Know-Who?"
"I could have, but if I did, Odin would have made me return to Asgard. I didn't want to go yet, I was too comfortable here." He looked at Sirius. "I was in love."
"Are we truly going to stand around listening to this?" Snape demanded.
"But you did go back to Asgard," Hermione said. "That's where you came from when you attacked earth."
"No, it is not. I came from somewhere else, but I did go back to Asgard after abandoning Harry," Loki said, "Something I regret now."
"You're not my mother," Harry said.
"Let's say you are telling the truth." Professor McGonagall said, "Why would you abandon your child?"
"And hadn't you disappeared before Harry was born?" Dumbledore demanded.
"I was with child. That's why I left. I told no one, hid away until I gave birth, left Harry with Sirius, and went back to Asgard," Loki explained. "I did it because my then-father hates Midgardians and thought of nothing but our family's reputation. I feared what he might do to Sirius and Harry if he found out."
"How did Harry end up with the Potters," McGonagall asked. "Lily and James said he was their son, and he has their name."
"I didn't think I was good enough for Harry, and I was way too irresponsible to be a single father, so I agreed to allow Lily and James to adopt him and give him a good home with two parents. We planned on telling him the truth when he was old enough to understand, but well, we didn't get the chance," Sirius explained.
"Because you snitched them out to Voldemort," Snape said. "I do not believe this, if it's true, you sent the Dark Lord after your own son, Lucius Malfoy wouldn't even do that."
"Do not compare Sirius to that fool," Loki demanded.
"I would never snitch my friends out to Voldemort, especially not when it put my son in danger," Sirius said.
"I'm not your son," Harry said, but he wasn't sure if Sirius and Loki weren't telling the truth. He wasn't sure of anything right now. All Harry had to go on was what people told him, and he never thought he looked all that much like James Potter from pictures he's seen. Sirius had his initial on his arm, he had memories of Sirius always being happy to see him, stayed with him when he was in the hospital wing for a weekend, saved him from getting trampled by Buckbeak, Loki also had saved Harry's life. Loki had been kind to him all year, helping Professor Lupin teach him the Patronus charm. Harry desperately wanted a family, he also wished he had parents that were alive but were Loki and Sirius telling the truth? If so, did Harry want anything to do with them? They were killers.
Harry and Sirius simultaneously reached their hands up and ran them through their hair, which caused Hermione to gasp and then cover her mouth with her hand. Sirius and Harry paused and stared at each other. Harry noticed then Loki had been right. There were many similarities between him and Sirius, in fact, Harry's eyes and nose were the only facial features he had that didn't resemble Sirius. Harry looked toward Loki and noticed his hair curled out at the ends like Harry's was starting to do, and as if he sensed Harry looking at him, Loki turned and looked at him, and Harry realized he had the exact same eyes as him. Feeling unnerved, Harry turned back to Sirius.
"Loki said there was evidence that proves you are innocent?" Harry asked, "What is it?"
"Lies," Snape yelled, "everything coming out of their mouths are lies. Potter, I knew you were dumb, but I didn't think you were that dumb."
"Severus, that's not necessary," Dumbledore said.
"Not necessary, he is standing here spreading lies everyone believes," Snape said. He turned to Harry. "Black isn't your father, he caused his and your mother's death. Lily Evans is dead because of him."
"Voldemort killed my parents," Harry said.
"Yes, and Black knew where they were hiding and told him," Snape said.
"What?" Harry demanded, "Is that true?"
"No, Harry, that's not true," Sirius said in a soft tone, then in a louder one said, "Snape, I know you are about to curse me. I'd advise you not to."
Harry looked to see Snape was pointing his wand at Sirius's back and looked as if he was about to say a spell, but Loki stepped between Sirius and Snape, blocking his wand from Sirius.
"Go ahead, darling, tell Harry your story," Loki said. His eyes on Snape.
"I would like to hear this as well," Dumbledore said. Sirius glanced at him then turned back to Harry.
"I guess I should start at the very beginning," Sirius said, "James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and I met our first year at Hogwarts, we became friends immediately, for reasons that are not mine to tell, James, Pettigrew and I decided to become animagi, and it took until our fifth year to succeed. James and I were the two cleverest students in the entire school, and I'm not just saying that out of arrogance, Pettigrew needed a lot of help from us. Becoming an animagi is very tricky and dangerous, but we did achieve it, and my form was a dog, James a stage and Pettigrew turned into a rat."
"You should have none then that he was untrustworthy," Loki said.
"I know that now," Sirius said.
"I don't understand what this has to do with anything," Harry Interrupted.
"We joined the fight against Voldemort right out of Hogwarts." Sirius said, "When James and Lily learned Voldemort was after them and you, they decided to go into hiding, they did so by casting the Fidelus Charm on their house. Do you know what that is?"
"No," Harry replied.
"I do," Hermione said, raising her hand as if she was in class, then her cheeks turned pink when both Loki and Sirius looked at her amused.
"Okay, Hermione, explain to the class about the Fidelus Charm," Sirius said.
"Don't tease her, love." Loki chastised, but he was grinning.
"Umm, okay," Hermione said. "It's an advanced spell involving the magical concealment of a secret inside a single, living soul. The information is hidden inside the chosen person, or Secret Keeper, and is impossible to find unless the Secret Keeper decides to indulge the location."
"So you were my parent's Secret Keeper?" Harry asked. "Did you betrayal them?"
"He certainly did," Snape said.
"He certainly did not," Loki said. They glared at each other.
"That was the original plan, but I thought I was too obvious a choice, everyone knew how close James and I were, we considered each other brothers, so I thought the less obvious choice would be Pettigrew, who was supposedly another good friend, we didn't tell anyone about the switch, so, when that rat turned on us and snitched your location to Voldemort, everyone thought it was me who told," Sirius explained.
"And the muggles?" Harry asked, "Where does a street full of muggles come in?"
"That night, I started getting this bad feeling something wasn't right, so I decided to go check on Pettigrew; he wasn't at his hideout, and there were no signs of a struggle, there hadn't been a battle there, an attack, nothing, I knew right then he pulled one over on us all, so I hurried to James's place, but by the time I got there it was too late, James and Lily were dead, and Hagrid was pulling you out of the ruins, I bagged and pleaded with him to give you to me, I was near tears, hell I might have been in tears, but Hagrid wouldn't budge, he had his orders from Dumbledore, I should have forced him to give you to me, but I wasn't thinking straight, I was a mess, my sorrow became rage, so I went after Pettigrew, I decided I'd get revenge then pick you up from wherever Hagrid took you later, but it didn't turn out that way. When I cornered him, he yelled for the whole street to hear that it was me who betrayed James and Lily and then blew it up, killing all those muggles, cut his finger off so people would think he was dead, transformed into a rat, and escaped in the sewer and has lived as a rat ever since."
"Do you have proof of this, Sirius?" Dumbledore asked.
"The proof is in Gryffindor Tower," Loki said, "I believe Ron calls it Scabbers."
"Scabbers?" Ron demanded, "No way, you have the wrong rat. Scabbers have been in my family for...
"Twelve years, " Sirius said. "Curiously long life for a common garden rat. He's missing a toe, isn't he?"
"That doesn't mean anything," Ron denied.
"Perhaps, Mr. Wesaley, we should look at this Scabbers," Dumbledore said. "Just to be sure."
"Okay, let's say they are telling the truth," Ron said, "How would they know Scabbers is Pettigrew? There are millions, possibly billions of rats, and many could be missing body parts."
"That's an excellent question, Mr. Wesaley," Dumbledore said, "How did you know."
"The photo of Ron and his family in the Daily Prophet last summer," Loki replied, "Pettigrew is sitting on Ron's shoulder."
"When Fudge came to inspect Azkaban, I was bored and decided to mess with him a bit and asked if him if I could have his paper; he was so surprised I was talking normally and not screaming my head off; he just handed it to me without thinking. I saw Pettigrew on Ron's shoulder. I have seen him transform into Wormtail thousands of times, I know what he looks like as a rat," Sirius said.
"We can prove it," Loki said, "You wizards do have a spell to force him out of his animagus form, do not worry, Ron, if Sirius and I are wrong, it will not hurt the rat, though why anyone would want such a disgusting creature for a pet is beyond me."
"Reigny," Sirius said. Loki shrugged.
"I want to hear Loki's story first," Harry said. "How are you not at fault for what you did to New York?"
"Harry, I plan on telling you, but you only. I wish not for anyone else to know," Loki said, there was pleading in his eyes, and Harry felt bad for him, but if he wanted people to trust him, he would have to explain himself.
"Loki," Dumbledore said,"If you aren't entirely responsible for what you did last June, then now is the time to convince me why I should not subdue you and have you handed over to the muggle authorities that are searching for you. I believe they call themselves The Avengers."
The pleading faded from Loki's eyes as he looked toward Dumbledore and smirked. An expression that seemed to be permanently on his face.
"You subdue me?" Loki asked. "I am more powerful than you have ever been."
"I am aware of that," Dumbledore said, "But as the Headmaster of Hogwarts, it is my job to protect anyone within its walls. Yes, that also includes you and Sirius Black if you both are telling the truth, if not I will do my best to stop any evil plan you may have, no matter the risk to myself."
"Albus," McGonagall said, surprised; Loki, on the other hand, was giving Dumbledore a thoughtful look.
"Now I see why you are one of the most respected wizards in the magical community," Loki replied, "I'm starting to respect you myself, but I will not..."
"Reigny," Sirius interrupted, "if you want to be trusted, if you want any chance of us gaining custody of Harry, you have to."
"But.."
Sirius leaned in and started whispering in Loki's ear, he shook his head at first, but after a moment, he gave in and nodded.
"Fine, but only Albus and Harry," Loki replied.
"Harry, would you come closer, please?" Sirius asked. Harry slowly walked toward him, "Reigny has a way of showing you his memories; if you two trust him, he'll show you proof that New York wasn't entirely his fault."
"Sirius, I don't know about this," Loki said.
"It's okay, they won't mention a thing until you are ready," Sirius said; his voice had become gentle, and Sirius reached up and pushed Loki's hair behind his shoulder.
"If you feel this uncomfortable, you can show Harry, and he can let me know if he believes you. I trust his judgment," Dumbledore said, "He or you can tell or show me later. Right now, we are running out of time, the ministry will be here soon."
Loki signed, "I appreciate that."
"Harry, " Sirius put his hand on Harry's back and gently pushed him towards Loki, who reached out and put his hand on his forehead, but instead of bringing out Harry's memories, he started putting some of Loki's memories into Harry's head, causing him to gasp at the sharp pain it caused.
"Albus," McGoonagall spoke up, voice full of concern, but Harry didn't hear Dumbledore's reply, it was like he had left his mind and was pulled into Loki's memories from the past fifteen years, starting with meeting Sirius, then giving birth, abandoning the baby. Harry saw Loki discover he was Jotunn, his argument with Odin, fighting Thor, falling through space, making a deal with a purple giant, getting tortured, arriving on earth, everything up until Loki found Sirius after escaping Azkaban. Harry saw it all, even Loki threatening Vernon Dursley when she had shown up at their house looking for Harry.
When Loki finally pulled his hand away, the memories disappeared, and Harry stumbled, feeling light-headed and a little dizzy. Loki immediately reached out to steady him.
"I am sorry if that hurt you," Loki said. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," Harry replied, "Was all that true?"
"It was, I swear," Loki said.
"And you two really are my parents?" Harry asked, he felt a tear run down his cheek
"We are," Loki said. "I swear that too."
Harry looked at Loki, and as more tears fell down his face, he noticed along with his curls and eyes Harry had Loki's nose too. He didn't know how he felt about Loki and Sirius, he was too in shock to think straight, but what Harry did know was they were telling the truth about being his parents, that he was sure of.
"I believe you," Harry mumbled, taking his glasses off to wipe his eyes. Loki gently took hold of his chin and turned his face up to look at him.
"You look even more like Sirius with your glasses off," Loki replied, "But I also see me in your face, mainly around the eyes.
Feeling uncomfortable, Harry stepped back so Loki would have to let go of him and put his glasses back on.
"Harry, can we trust Loki?" Dumbledore asked.
The question caught Harry off guard, and he wanted to say yes because he saw Loki was insane when he attacked New York and wasn't entirely responsible for his actions. But, still, Loki has done other bad things while being sane, but Harry could understand somewhat how Loki felt; he knew how it felt to be tossed aside for your guardian's biological child, it hurt no matter how bad they treat you. But it never sent Harry to do horrible things. So, he would speak truthfully.
"I'm not sure," Harry said, "he wasn't entirely to blame for New York. I think we shouldn't turn him in and give him a chance but not trust him fully until he proves he deserves it."
"Harry..." Sirius started.
"No, Harry is being cautious, it is understandable, and I expect no less from a child of mine," Loki replied.
"I said I would trust Harry's judgment, and I do." Dumbledore said, "Loki, you are safe here; as the Chef Warlock of the Wizengamot, I grant you sanctuary in the wizarding world, but if you prove us wrong, that will be taken away, and you will face the consequences."
"Thank you," Loki said, looking shocked.
"Don't make me regret the chance I just gave you. I have many connections in both the wizard and muggle worlds. It would not take long for one of my connections to find a way to contact the Avengers, and through them, that brother of yours," Dumbledore said.
"You will not regret it," Loki said.
"Albus, do you think this is wise?" Professor McGogongall asked.
"Of course, it isn't wise," Snape said. "You are going by the word of Potter."
"Severus, enough, I have made my decision, and it stands," Dumbledore said. Then turned to Ron. "Mr. Wesaley, how about we go look at Scabbers?"
"Okay," Ron said.
"I think, headmaster, I am going to see if there is any sign of the ministry," Snape said.
"Good idea." Dumbledore said, "Inform them there was a mistake made, and I wish to speak to them."
Snape glanced at him but said nothing as he turned and headed down the corridor. Dumbledore waved his wand and the suits of armor, and the statues moved back to their original positions.
"Loki, you might want to shift back into Professor Ikol so you don't frighten any students that may see you, and then accompany Mr. Wesaley and myself to Gryffindor tower, Professor McGonagall, you might want to check on said students. Harry, why don't you and Ms. Granger stay here with Sirius, until I return."
Loki did as Dumbledore asked and shifted back into Professor Ikol, but instead of the one-piece jumpsuit she usually wears, her clothes turned into what looked like a feminine version of the armor Loki was just wearing. Then there was a swirl of green magic, and Loki suddenly held chains and cuffs in her hands, the chains had ruins carved in them and glowed the same green as Loki's magic.
"For Pettigrew," Loki explained, "I did the ruins myself, he will not be able to use his magic or transform into a rat once we put these on him."
"Fascinating," Dumbledore replied, Loki grinned with pride as she allowed Dumbledore to take them and look them over.
"I'm coming with you," Sirius said, "I have a right, the rat cost me my best friends, twelve years of my life, and almost killed my son."
"Sirius, love, let me go with them to fetch the rat. I promise we'll bring him back here, and you can hit him with a few painful hexes," Loki said, turning and putting her arm around him.
"Deal," Sirius grinned, he leaned in to kiss her before Loki pulled away and after taking her chains back from Dumbledore, her, and Ron, headed down the corridor toward Gryffindor Tower.
"Harry, are you alright," Hermione asked, walking to him.
"I'm...not sure," Harry replied, half wishing he could crawl under something and hide. Sirius walked over to him and put a hand on his shoulder. Harry looked at him.
"It's okay to be mad at us. Honestly, I'd be a bit concerned if you weren't." Sirius said. "We don't expect you to immediately forgive us and welcome us with open arms, Reingy, and I know it'll take time."
"I don't know how I feel," Harry admitted, "I've always wanted family, but you've lied to me, and gave me away when I was a baby. I don't know if I can trust you won't decide you don't want me again and leave."
"That won't happen, but I understand you can't just take my word for it," Sirius replied, giving Harry's shoulder a gentle squeeze.
Before Harry could reply, voices were coming from the opposite end of the corridor, and they turned to see Snape leading Cornelius Fudge and a few Aurors their way.
"Right this way, Minister." Snape was saying. He led them up to them and grinned as he looked at Sirius, "As you see, it is Sirius Black."
"What's going on?" Harry demanded as Fudge stared at Sirius in shock.
"Yes...yes.I see." Fudge said, "Aurors, get him."
"No," Harry said, stepping in front of Sirius. "You can't."
"Potter, move out of the way," Snape ordered.
"I won't," Harry refused. Harry didn't know if he could trust Sirius would stick around, but he was still his father, he didn't want him back in Azkaban or given to Dementors.
"Harry, I don't know what this is about, but you must move out of the way," Fudge said, then turned to the Aurors."Take Black down to the Quidditch pitch, and then go to the gate and alert the dementors. Meanwhile, I'll go find Dumbledore and talk to him."
"No, you can't; he's innocent," Harry argued.
"Harry is right, Minister," Hermione said, "Peter Pettigrew betrayed the Potters and killed those muggles, he faked his death and framed Sirius Black. "
"What's this nonsense?" Fudge demanded.
"Black has brainwashed them with some tall tale," Snape replied.
"Yes." Fudge said, "Aorurs." They stepped closer to Sirius, and Harry pulled out his wand, and so did Hermione.
"That isn't true, Sirius hasn't brainwashed me." Harry said, "He is innocent."
"Potter, don't make us move you by force." One of the Aurors said.
"We would hate to have to arrest you, too." another said. "Being Harry Potter doesn't make you above the law."
"I'll come without a fight," Sirius said, "But I warn you, you touch Harry, and I won't be going back to Azkaban an innocent man."
"No, " Harry said, turning a little to look at Sirius. "You can't let them take you, you're innocent. Dumbledore is gone to get Pettigrew now."
"I'll be fine," Sirius said, then he leaned in and whispered, "Go get your Mother."
Sirius then walked around Harry, stood there, and allowed the Aurors to pull his arms behind him and put cuffs on him. Harry stood there watching for a second before turning and running down the corridor toward Gryffindor Tower, Hermione following.
An Auror took hold of his arm, and Snape smirked as they started leading Sirius away, but his smirk soon fell as Sirius grinned when he walked past; once Harry told Loki what was happening to Sirius, Cornelius Fudge and these Aurors will find out they have made a big mistake by arresting him, they'll soon regret it, painfully and with how the Ministry treated Sirius the last twelve years, he couldn't bring himself to care.
AN I know it might seem Dumbledore is being too trusting of Loki at first, and might seem a little OOC, but not only is he going to give Loki a chance on Harry's word, he's also thinking if Voldemort was to come back, they would need someone like Loki fighting alongside them, and someone powerful that can help keep Harry safe.
Lupin hasn't shown up because it is a full moon, not night yet, but he's drinking Wolfsbane potion Loki made him, waiting for them to to come to his room, unaware of what's is going on.
The next chapter might be a little longer than usual to be posted; a lot going on right now, but hopefully it won't be too long, week or little long.
