Chapter 39: Cornelius Fudge is an Idoit

Loki woke to a weird noise that sounded like a rumble of thunder with a rattling sound. He knew what that noise was and where is was coming from. He had to endure it every time Thor dragged him on one of those awful hunting trips and had to share a tent with him; Loki never got any sleep the whole trip, and Thor never seemed to care that Loki would rather stay in the palace with a book or learning magic. Then there was the fact the woods of Asgard are full of dangerous creatures, and something as simple as hunting could cost you your life unless you knew how to navigate the woods properly. Thor and his idiotic friends just loved to torment the beast that lived within the forest, and Loki always had to be the one who got them out of trouble. Those hunts always ended up being more work than fun, and Loki was happy when Thor stopped dragging him along with him, or that's what he told himself anyway. Now here he was, having to listen to Thor's snores again.

Deciding he wouldn't get any more sleep, Loki opened his eyes to find he had rolled over during the night and was now facing Sirius, who was somehow still asleep. Smiling, Loki reached out and pushed Sirius's hair out of his handsome face so, he could see him. In the last fifteen years, there hasn't been a day gone by that Loki didn't regret abandoning Sirius and Harry. If he had stayed on Midgard with them like he truly wanted, then Loki and Sirius would have raised Harry together, his son would have had a much happier life, he wouldn't have grown up unloved and neglected, and Voldemort would have never targeted him; Loki would have made sure of that. Then Lily and James would still be alive, and Sirius would have never had to live the horrors of Azkaban. That was all in the past now, though there was no way to change anything, and Loki needed to concentrate on what was happening. He needed to put all his energy into taking out Voldemort and keeping Harry and Sirius safe and alive.

Loki lay there and watched Sirius sleep for a few more minutes, lost in thoughts, before he carefully turned over and then sat up. The first thing Loki noticed was Thor asleep in a chair by his bed, his arms were lying straight at his sides, and his head was leaning back. It looked like a very uncomfortable way to sleep. Why the fool didn't get into one of the hospital beds was beyond him. As Loki watched, Thor made a snorting-like noise then started snoring again.

"He's been doing that for hours."

Loki looked up to see Harry awake and sitting in his bed. He was watching Thor sleep with amusement on his face. Loki stood and walked over to Harry.

"How do you feel?" Loki asked, sitting on the bed by Harry's legs.

"I'm fine," Harry said. "Though I can't close my eyes without seeing Cedric murdered, and it was my fault."

"That wasn't your fault, Harry, don't think that," Loki said.

"But I told Cedric to take the cup with me," Harry said, "If I hadn't, he'd still be alive."

"You were just trying to do a nice thing," Loki said, "You had no idea what would happen. Cedric's death is the fault of Voldemort and the people who helped him plan what happened last night. No one else is to blame."

"Then why does it feel like it's my fault?" Harry demanded, tears falling down his face. Loki reached out and pulled him into a hug, and rubbed his back, the same way Frigga used to whenever Loki or Thor was upset about something.

"Survivors guilt," Loki explained, "You lived through a nightmare last night, and you feel guilty about surviving when Cedric didn't. I still see the same guilt in your father's eyes whenever Halloween comes around, or it's Lily's or James's birthday. He still blames himself for their deaths, even though he's learned to live with the guilt."

"But…that wasn't his fault," Harry said, pulling away and wiping his eyes. "It was Pettigrew and Voldemort."

"And Cedric's death wasn't your fault," Loki said, pushing Harry's hair out of his face. He ran his finger over Harry's scar. Loki hated that scar, not only because it was a reminder of what happened but because it didn't feel right. It felt almost alive, and it didn't sit right with Loki. There was something more than it being just a cursed scar.

"Did you mean what you told me last night?" Harry asked.

"What was that, sweetie?" Loki said, dropping his hand.

"When you said you loved me?" Harry asked. Loki was surprised by the question.

"Of course," Loki said, "You're my son. Of course, I love you." Harry smiled at that.

"I think I love you too, and Sirius, but… it's all so new to me."

"It's okay, sweetheart. You don't have to express it until you are comfortable. I know how hard dealing with emotions and expressing your feelings can be, and your father also knows this. We know you care. That's what matters," Loki said.

He pulled Harry into another hug, and when he pulled back, he looked around with a frown. Remus and Andromeda weren't in the infirmary.

"They said something about going to the Great Hall for breakfast," Harry explained, "I think they wanted to escape that." Harry nodded toward Thor, who was still snoring, and Loki grinned.

"I can not blame them," Loki replied, standing and walking over to Thor. "Thor's snores have always been awful. I had to listen to them when sharing a tent with him on hunting trips."

"You used to hunt?" Harry asked.

"Oh, yes, Thor, his three friends Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg, and I," Loki said, "I didn't care much for it. Thor and the others always had to pick fights with the beast that lives within the Asgardian woods."

"What kind of beast?" Harry asked. As Thor snorted, they looked at him and then turned to each other.

"There are all kinds. You ever heard of Draugr?" Loki asked. Harry shook his head. "Well, it's like what a Midgardian would call a zombie. On Asgard, sometimes criminals are cursed to return to an undead state; they are awful things, so we usually bury criminals in caves in the woods and not near the villages. Anyway, they are harmless unless you mess with the treasure buried with them, then they come after you."

"And Thor and his friends would mess with their treasures?" Harry asked.

"They did, but only to get them mad so they could fight them," Loki answered, "And the only way to stop a Draugr is by burning its body, and of course, I always had to step in and use my magic to conjure a fire big enough to kill them all."

"That's mental," Harry said. Loki nodded.

"Yeah, but your unc...Thor's favorite beast to fight was the mountain trolls." Loki said.

"Asgard has trolls?" Harry asked.

"They are a bit different than the ones here on Midgard, but I hated when Thor had to antagonize one whenever we came across it. They can be hard to fight, even with magic." Loki explained.

"Ron, Hermione, and I fought a troll once," Harry said, "Well, sorta." He told Loki the story of how he and Ron became friends with Hermione.

"I think that's the most unique story of how someone became friends I've ever heard," Loki replied, grinning a little.

"Do you think Hermione is okay?" Harry asked, "She really liked Pietro. He seemed like such a nice guy, I guess it was all just an act to get to me."

"She'll probably hurt a while." Loki said, "But she'll be fine,"

"Everything is still a shock," Harry replied. "It all feels like a bad dream."

"That's understandable," Loki said, "It just happened. You need time to let it sink in."

Harry was about to reply when Thor started mumbling in his sleep. They both turned toward him and laughed.

"I'm guessing you never heard of Huldra either?" Loki asked. Harry shook his head, "Huldra are these humanoid-like creatures. At first glance, they look human, but once you look closer, their backs are covered in tree bark, and they have a tail that resembles a cow's. The females liked to lure young unmarried men deep into the forest where they live, to either keep as slaves, lovers, or sometimes they suck their life out."

"They sound horrible," Harry said, "Did you ever encounter any?"

"Once," Loki said, "A Huldra has the power of seduction, which is how they lure unmarried men into the forest. The only way to break their spell is by seeing their tail or putting steel on them, which weakens them. On one of our hunting trips, we came across some Huldra. They enchanted Thor, Fandral, and Hogun, but I had shifted into my female form, and Volstagg is married, so their seduction did not work on him. It was up to Volstagg and me to save the other three. He kept them back while I tricked the Huldra to show their tails. It was difficult, but we managed. The fools laughed about it later."

"The forest on Asgard sounds worse than the Forbidden Forrest," Harry said.

"They are." Loki agreed. He looked over at Sirius, who was still asleep, and shook his head. "I do not know how Sirius can sleep through the racket Thor is making."

"He is loud." Harry agreed. Loki turned back to Thor, and smirked as he reached over, took his index finger and thumb, and held Thor's nostrils closed. Thor made a weird noise; then his arms flopped around before his body jerked, then Thor fell off the chair and landed on the floor with a loud thump. His eyes popped open, and he looked around, confused, then he narrowed his eyes at Loki.

"Loki!" Thor growled so loud it woke Sirius, and he flew out of the bed, hands raised, ready to fight. Then he lowered them, looking confused. Loki burst out laughing, which only confused Sirius further. "It's not funny."

"Yes, it is," Loki said. He raised his arms and made a flopping motion. "You looked like a fish flopping around."

"I do not look like a fish," Thor said. His words caused Loki to burst into more laughter as he grabbed his stomach and doubled over. Loki doesn't know why he thought what he did to Thor was funny or why he couldn't stop laughing. Maybe it was his body's way of blowing off steam and dealing with everything that happened instead of destroying everything in sight. Loki sat on the edge of the bed while Sirius gave him a look that was a mix of confusion and concern as Loki took a few deep breaths to try and control himself.

"Are you alright, Reigny?" Sirius asked, sitting next to him. He nodded his head.

At that moment, the infirmary door opened, and in came Remus and Andromeda, the latter of which was carrying a small tray with food, and pumpkin juice, which she took to Harry.

"Here, you should eat something," Andromeda said as Remus sat beside Sirius.

"Thank you," Harry mumbled. Loki had begun to like Andromeda even more than he already did last night when her only reaction to finding out Loki was Reigna Ikol was to roll her eyes and mumble, "Of course you are" She knew Sirius well enough that it did not surprise her that he would fall in love with the God of Mischief.

While Harry ate, the infirmary door opened again, and in came Molly Weasley, Ron, Hermione, The Weasley twins, Ginny, and Cho Chang. All but Ron and Hermione paused at the sight of Loki standing there, and Ron and Hermione continued to Harry, who began to assure them he was fine, then asked Hermione if she was alright. Cho decided if Ron and Hermione weren't reacting to Loki being here, then she assumed he was supposed to be here, so she hurried passed him over to Harry and immediately hugged him.

"You're the bloke that blew up New York," Fred said.

"I did not. I invaded with an army of Chitauri. " Loki corrected.

Mrs. Wesaley soon overcame her shock, pulled out her wand, and pointed it at Loki while holding her other arm out as if trying to block her children from him.

"Stay back, don't move." Mrs. Wesaley warned, "Step away from Harry."

"Well, which do you wish for me to do?" Loki asked sarcastically, "Stay here or move away from Harry?"

"Mum, it's okay," Ron said, "Loki's good now."

"I wouldn't go that far, Ron," Loki replied.

"Ron, get over here." Mrs. Wesaley demanded.

"Madam, I've been your son's teacher for two years. If I wanted to harm him, I would have done so by now," Loki said.

"Mrs. Wesaley, it's okay," Harry said, "Loki is my mum."

"What?" Fred and George said. They turned to Loki.

"There is no way you are the most perfect," Fred said.

"Most beautiful." George put in.

"Most talented," Fred said.

"Most intelligent professor Hogwarts has ever had," George said.

"Show them," Harry said. Loki shifted into her female form, and Fred and George's mouths dropped open. Mrs. Wesaley was so shocked she nearly dropped her wand.

"Loki has been our history teacher for the last two years?" Fred asked.

"I have," Loki said, shifting back into his male form.

"Wicked." Fred and George said.

At that moment, the infirmary door burst open, and it hit the wall with a loud bang, making most in the room jump in surprise, but none as much as Harry, who ducked down in the bed, causing his tray of food to fall to the floor, while he covered his head.

"Harry?" Loki said, lying his hand on his back. Harry raised his head and looked at him.

"I thought I heard a gunshot," Harry said, his face red in embarrassment. Loki felt anger at whoever had the nerve to frighten his son and turned towards the door to see Cornelius Fudge looking around at everyone.

"Potter?" Fudge said, "We need to talk." He stepped toward the bed, but Thor blocked Fudge's path and held out his hand, Mjolnir flew into it, and he pointed it at Fudge.

"You wish to speak to Harry. You do it from here," Thor said "or you don't do it at all." Loki couldn't help but smirk. Perhaps having Thor here wasn't a bad idea, after all, he was annoying, but at least there was a third person that would keep Harry safe.

"Where the bloody hell did Thor come from?" Ron demanded. Thor turned to him.

"Asgard," Thor said, Loki would have rolled his eyes, but then Thor gave Ron a smirk, something Loki was sure he had never seen on Thor's face before, and Loki realized Thor was just joking.

"Where is Dumbledore?" Fudge demanded. Sirius put his hand on Thor's arm, making him lower Mjolnir, then turned to Fudge.

"He's not here, Fudge," Sirius said, "You have no right barging in here scaring my…."

"What's going on?" Dumbledore asked as he entered the room. "Why are you bothering these people, Cornelius?"

"I've been to the cemetery you told me to go. I went there first thing this morning with about a dozen Aurors. Do you know what I found?" Fudge demanded.

"A cemetery full of dead Death Eaters." Sirius guessed. Fudge turned to him.

"No," Fudge said, "I found nothing. There was nothing there but an old run-down cemetery, no Death Eaters, nothing."

"They must have cleaned up the evidence," Loki said, "You took too long to go."

"I did tell you, Cornelius, to go last night before Voldemort had his followers collect their fallen teammates," Dumbledore said.

"You're going to insist it was You-Know-Who that snatched Potter and Diggory out of the maze last night." Fudge demanded.

"It was Voldemort," Harry said, "I saw him return."

Fudge glanced at Harry, then turned back to Dumbledore.

"Are you willing to take the boy's word without evidence?" Fudge demanded, "I have a dead son of a high-up Ministry official who was murdered by a muggle weapon, and said official is breathing down my neck wanting me to find his killer, and you want to spin some tale that You-Know-Who is back, and using muggle weapons? Come now, Dumbledore, how dumb do you think I am?"

"Of course, I believe Harry," Dumbledore said.

"Voldemort is back," Loki said. Fudge looked at him, and his eyes widened in shock. "I saw him, Sirius saw him, Harry was kidnapped by his people, and they used his blood to bring him back to full power."

"You-Know-Who is back?" Fudge asked; he gave a fake laugh. "Nonsense"

"Loki and I took out half his Death Eaters, we would have taken out him if he hadn't run from Loki like a coward," Sirius said.

"I'm sorry, Black, but are you saying you killed a bunch of wizards last night?" Fudge demanded, "There were no bodies, but a confession is still a confession, so I'd watch what you say and to who, you don't want-"

"Sirius didn't kill anyone." Loki cut in, "I did, you want to threaten me? Go ahead see where that gets you."

"You..I…this is all made-up nonsense." Fudge stuttered.

"It is not nonsense, Cornelius," Dumbledore said. "If Loki says Voldemort's back, he's back."

"Really?" Fudge asked, "You're ready to believe this lunatic? Do you remember what he did to that muggle city?"

"I do believe Loki," Dumbledore said. "He made mistakes in the past but has shown he has changed. I trust him."

"He just claimed to have killed a dozen wizards, I doubt he's changed," Fudge said.

"Though I do not agree with what Loki did, I am sure he only did what he thought he had to in order to protect Harry," Dumbledore said.

"Please, he probably enjoyed it." Fudge said, "That's what guys like him do for fun."

"I do not enjoy killing people." Loki said, "I only ever done it when truly necessary, and in New York, I was being influenced by a very powerful object it fluid my anger and made me act more vicious than I normally would."

"Please, you probably are the one that killed Cedric Diggory, " Fudge said. "And did something to Potter. He's under a spell, that's it, he is Mind Controlling both him and Black."

"I do not have anyone in this room under mind control," Loki said, crossing his arms.

"Well, excuse me if I don't believe you," Fudge said, "Why are you even here? You should be in jail somewhere. I should call the muggle authority and have you arrested."

"He has Sanctuary in the wizarding world, Cornelius," Dumbledore said. "As long as he stays put in the wizarding world, the muggle authorities can't touch him."

"Who gave him that, and on what authority?" Fudge demanded.

"I did," Dumbledore said, "With the authority of the Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards."

"Oh, come now, Dumbledore, you've kept some dangerous people close before, but Loki?" Fudge said, "He nearly destroyed the muggle world."

"Watch it," Sirius warned.

"He's spreading lies," Fudge said, "He can't be back, Dumbledore."

"Voldemort is back." Loki said, taking a step toward Fudge, "And if you had taken steps to capture his weak form after the first war, this could have been prevented."

"You aren't going to come up with this lie and blame me?" Fudge said, "It's utter nonsense."

"Listen to him," Dumbledore said, "Voldemort returned last night, and you must act now. Please take steps to make sure we stay ahead of him. The first and most essential step is to remove the dementors from Azkaban."

"Preposterous," Fudge said, "I'd be kicked out of office for suggesting it. Half of us feel safe in our beds at night because we know the dementors guard Azkaban."

"The rest of us sleep less soundly in our beds, Cornelius, knowing that you have put Lord Voldemort's most dangerous supporters in the care of creatures who will join him the instant he asks them," Dumbledore said.

"And some of us think Dementors shouldn't even exist." Harry said.

"I agree with Harry on that," Sirius said.

"The second step, you must send envoys to the giants," Dumbledore said.

"Enoys to the giants? What madness is this?" Fudge demanded.

"Extend the hand of friendship now, before it is too late," Dumbledore said.

"You can't be serious. If I did that ...people hate them, it'd be the end of my career," Fudge said.

"No wonder the Wizarding World is in the shape it is in," Loki said, stepping closer to Fudge, who started backing up. "Their minister is an incompetent coward, who allows Death Eaters to go free, and lucks innocent people in Azkaban. Tell me, Cornelius, how much of the gold in your vault came from Lucius Malfoy? A known Death Eater."

"Lucius's name was cleared of any wrongdoings, and he makes generous donations to the Ministry," Fudge said.

"Donations for what?" Sirius demanded, "Malfoy isn't the kind of person who hands out gold for no reason."

"How much of those donations was to prevent laws to protect muggle-born and muggles better," Loki asked.

"Lies," Fudge said, "All lies. You are trying to take over the Wizarding World because you failed to take over the muggle one. You killed Cedric Diggory. You are the one who plotted all year to get Harry Potter in that tournament, he was your biggest threat in taking over, and you likely failed to kill him, so you got him under mind control. I see it now. It all makes sense now. You failed your plan, so you're going to blame it on You-Know-Who."

"I'm sorry, but did you just accuse me of plotting the murder of my son?" Loki demanded, anger flashing in his eyes and magic forming in his hand.

"Loki." Dumbledore held his hand up. "That won't help anything."

"Son?" Fudge demanded.

"Yes, Harry Potter is mine and Sirius Black's son," Loki said, switching into her female form. "I gave birth to him in this form, and Lily and James Potter adopted him."

"That's impossible." Fudge said, then turned back to Dumbledore. "you don't believe this lie? First You-Know-Who, and now this."

"I don't believe it's a lie, and I don't believe Loki is making everything up." Dumbledore said, "Cornelius. I've told you many times this year something wasn't right, and you wouldn't listen,"

"Of course, he wouldn't listen," Sirius said, "If Voldemort came back on his watch, he knew he could do nothing, and too afraid to try, all of wizarding Britain would see what a coward our minister is, and not only would he lose his Minister job, but he'd also get kicked out of the ministry."

"How dare you," Fudge said, "You can't expect me to take the word of some crazy alien who claims to be a god and the mother of Harry Potter. You two are completely out of your mind. Maybe I should look into getting Potter different guardians."

"You dare threaten to take my son from me," Loki said. She stepped toward Fudge, but Thor rushed over to hold her back.

"Sister, that'll just maksthe situation worse," Thor warned. Loki jerked her arm from Thor and glared at him.

"I am not your sister." She said, shifting back into male form.

"Crazy, all of you are crazy," Fudge said. He looked at Thor, "Why isn't he in prison?"

"Why isn't Voldemort in prison?" Thor asked, and Loki looked at him in surprise. When did Thor get so sassy?

Fudge looked at Dumbledore, "Voldemort can't be back. Do you know how damaging they'd be to me, my whole career down the drain?"

"Not if you act fast, get rid of the dementors, send envoys to the giants, talk to the goblins of Gringotts, and make sure they'll at least be neutral in the up-and-coming war so families don't lose excess to their gold," Dumbledore said.

"And cause a panic?" Fudge demanded, "If I did any of that, people would wonder why, there's an election coming up, I plan to rerun for office. I can't afford to cause a panic now, you might get by with making friends with such nasty creatures, but I can't. I'll lose my job at the Ministry."

"Cornelius, you are blinded by the love of your office, you place too much importance, and you always have done, on the so-called purity of blood." Dumbledore said. "You fail to recognize that it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be."

Loki visibly flinched at Dumbledore's words. Really? Does it not matter if someone is born a monster? And as if he knew what Loki was thinking Thor stepped closer to him, and whispered in his ear.

"You are not a monster, brother."

"Look at my family," Sirius was saying, "There are very few of us left, and look where one of them is, in Azkaban screaming her head off for her beloved master. Hell, there's a family legend of Dorea Black-Potter killing her son for some magical gemstone. Purebloods can be some of the most despicable people, and the few who aren't are labeled blood traiters."

"The wizarding world has a very old fashion backwards way of thinking." Andromeda said. "My own sister cast the torture curse on me just because she found out about me being with Ted, I had to run away in order to marry him."

"He can't be back," Fudge mumbled, "He can't be."

"What a poor excuse for a Minister you are." Loki said, "This isn't the Minister of Magic the Wizarding World deserves. A coward who is ready to ignore that Voldemort is back because it inconveniences him. This wizarding community deserves a minister willing to fight Voldemort and his followers without fear."

"How dare you?" Fudge said, "How dare you spread these lies? You are just trying to get me to look bad. You want to run me out of office."

"Cornelius, if you are not ready to accept Voldemort's return, then I have no choice but to act on my own," Dumbledore said.

"Act on your own," Fudge said. "What do you mean by that?"

"Voldemort isn't the only one we have to worry about, Cornelius. He has a sister," Dumbledore said, "And she has the muggle group Hydra behind her. Their father is Johann Schmidt, also known as Red Skull, an evil muggle the superhero Captain America fought back in the day; Voldemort's plans have changed, and he wants to take over the whole world, not just the wizard one."

"It was one of those Hydra muggles that killed Cedric Diggory." Loki said, "A man name Brock Rumlow."

"Oh, for Merlin's shake, this tale….this story of yours just keeps getting more ridiculous the more you fed into it," Fudge said. He turned to Dumbledore. "I can't believe you believe all this, Albus."

"It's the truth," Harry said, limping over to stand between Loki and Thor, "Rather you want to believe it or not, it's true."

"You need your head checked," Fudge said. Sirius growled at that, sounding a lot like his animagus form, and Loki gently took Harry's arm and unwrapped the bandage, and showed Fudge the stitched-up cut.

"This is where Barty Crouch Jr cut Harry's arm to use his blood to bring Voldemort back," Loki explained. He let go of Harry's arm, pushed up his pajama leg, unwrapped the bandage, and showed Fudge his bullet wound. "This is where Rumlow shot Harry while he was trying to run away."

"Barty Crouch Jr?" Fudge said, "He died in Azkaban over a decade ago."

"No, Crouch escaped with help from his parents and Polyjuice Potion," Loki said, "It was his mother disguised as him, not Barty Crouch, who died in prison,"

"Oh, Merlin, this story gets more unbelievable," Fudge said. Loki narrowed his eyes at him, then turned to Dumbledore.

"Looks like we'll get no help from the Ministry," Loki said, "You have alerted what order members are left?"

"What?" Fudge asked.

"I have. They are all ready to jump into action." Dumbledore agreed.

"Now, hang on here-"

"Good, good," Loki nodded, "We have the Avengers willing to help also. What we need now is-"

"The Avengers, they're a bunch of muggles," Fudge said, "What good would they be against a wizard threat? If there was one, which there isn't." Loki turned to him.

"Hush, Cornelius, the adults are having an important conversation," Loki said, then turned back to Dumbledore. "The next thing we need to do is make sure as many people as we can know and find more people willing to join the order."

"Now, hang on here, I am Minister of Magic," Fudge said.

"For how much longer?" Loki asked.

"Are you threatening me?" Fudge demanded.

"Merely asking a question," Loki said.

"Cornelius, if you want to be remembered as a great Minister, then join us, fight Voldemort, and take steps to ensure the safety of our world," Dumbledore said.

"If not, then do not get in our way," Loki said.

"I will not be talked to like this," Fudge said. "You two will not-"

"Hush." Loki said, "I've had enough of listening to your denials."

"Do not talk to me like that," Fudge said.

"I think we need a new Minister," George said.

"George, hush." Molly gasped.

"One that isn't a coward," Fred said.

"Fred."

"I vote Loki." Ron put in.

"Ron," Molly snapped.

"Loki...Loki...Loki..." chants erupted from the Weasley children while Molly frantically tried to get them to hush.

"I don't have time for this," Fudge said, "I have things to do. I'll be in contact at another time to talk to you about the running of this school and how out of control your students are."

"Headmaster," Loki said, "If you wish, I can get rid of him for you."

"That will not be necessary," Dumbledore replied, "He is not our threat at the moment."

"I'll send an owl when I want to talk, Dumbledore," Fudge said before turning and heading to the door. He paused, turned back around, pulled a large bag out of his pocket, and tossed it on the floor at Harry's feet.

"Your Trwizard Winnings," Fudge said. "I will be back later today with a warrant to take you in for questioning."

"You will not," Sirius said, rushing over and pushing Harry behind him; Andromeda and Remus got on either side of Sirius, wands in their hands. Hermione and the Weasley children got on either side of Harry with their wands out. Cho stood next to him, holding his arm. Then Thor stepped in front of Sirius, Mjolnir raised.

"I'll bring Aurors with me then," Fudge said. He turned to leave to find Loki standing in front of him with an angry expression.

"You will not even think of taking Harry anywhere for any reason, or you will get a lot worse than what the Death Eaters did," Loki said, walking closer to Fudge, who took a step back. "Whether you want to expect it or not, Voldemort is back, you can hide like a coward if you wish, but I plan to kill Voldemort, his followers, and anyone else who gets in my way. Do you understand that?"

"I…" Fudge turned back around only to have Loki standing behind him too.

"I said do you understand?" Loki demanded, and as he did, his duplicates appeared around Fudge, asking if he understood. Fudge turned in a circle looking as if he was going to have a heart attack.

"I understand," Fudge said.

"Loki," Dumbledore warned. Loki held up a finger.

"One more thing, Cornelius, I am running for Minister of Magic," Loki replied, "I have studied your laws all year. As someone with Sanctuary, I'm a part of this world now, and therefore I can run against you."

"You're out of your mind if you think anyone will vote for you," Fudge said.

"We'll just have to see, won't we?" Loki said, letting his duplicates disappear. "Now, be gone from my sight before I do something that would get a normal wizard thrown in Azkaban."

At those words, Cornelius Fudge fled the infirmary like a dementor was after him. The people around Harry relaxed and stepped away from him.

"Blimey, Harry, your mum is scarier than ours," Fred and George said.

"Well, I must be going. Things to do." Dumbledore said, "I'll send an owl when I find a place to have a meeting and Thor, you can contact your teammates and arrange a meeting then."

"I know a place," Andromeda said, stepping forward, "It's already enchanted, no one ever goes there, and no one would suspect the Order of the Pheonix is meeting there."

"Annie, I hope you're not thinking of the place I think you're thinking of," Sirius said.

"Think, Little Cousin, what better way to tick off Walburga than to plan to take out Voldemort in her own house?" Andromeda demanded, "She's hanging on the wall. You can even rub it in her nose."

"Alright, you convinced me," Sirius said, "Albus, I own Number 12 Grimmauld Place. It has generations of repealing charms and protective enchantments, the place is near as secure as Hogwarts, and we can have order meetings there."

"Excellent," Dumbledore said, "I'll send out owls, Thor; if you can contact your teammates, we'll meet on the first Sunday of July." Dumbledore turned and left the Great Hall.

"Is Thori in the owlery? We can use him to send word to the Avengers," Sirius said, turning to Loki, who was looking at him with a panicked look." What?"

"Thori?" Thor asked, looking between Loki and Sirius. "Who is Thori?"

"Thori?" Loki asked, "He didn't say Thori. He said…"

"Thori is Loki's owl," Harry said, trying not to laugh, as Thor's face took on a shocked look, and Loki groaned and hid his face in his hands.

"You named your pet after me?" Thor demanded.

"It was a way of making fun of you, actually," Loki said, not looking at Thor.

"I knew you still cared," Thor said.

"I do not." Loki denied.

"You do care, brother," Thor said, pulling Loki into a bone-crushing hug.

"Let go of me, you heathen," Loki said, pushing Thor away from him, then smacked his arm.

"Sirius," Thor said, turning to him. "I will accompany you to this owlery and meet my name shake."

"Alright, just don't hug me," Sirius said, then he and Thor walked towards the infirmary door together. On their way out the it, Loki sent magic toward Sirius, and changed his pajamas into jeans and a t-shirt, and put his boots on his feet. Sirius looked back at him and winked before disappearing out the door.

"I'm glad Bill and Charlie don't act like that when they visit," Fred said.

"Or, Percy," George replied, "Could you imagine Percy hugging us like that?" Fred and George shivered at the thought.

"Boys, knock it off." Mrs. Wesaley said. Just as there was a bang behind them, they all jumped and turned to see Hermione. She was holding something in her hand.

"Sorry, there was a bug in the window," Hermione said. She held up her hands and smiled at Loki, who smiled back. He was pretty sure he knew what, or rather who, Hermione was holding in her hands.

AN I do have plans for Rita Skeeter for a little later, and the Draugr and Huldra I got from actual Norse Mythology, I thought it would be nice to hear a little about Thor and Loki's life together and thought it neat if mentioned something from their actual Myths, Trolls are in them too, but also in the comics, I don't think the other two have ever been mention in them at least not that I have seen.

Loki did almost say your uncle to Harry, but changed it, he's not anger or jealous at Thor anymore, and starting to accept Thor as his brother again, he just won't admit it to himself yet.

Fudge and a few on his side will refuse to believe Voldemort is back, but it's won't be as bad as cannon, and I'm not sure if I'll have Umbridge or not, I have someone else planned for the DADA job for fifth year, so I'll have to fit her in some other way if I have her, but it would be funny to see Loki telling her off.
