Out in the fields of Yamato
In the grassy fields in the outskirts of Akihabara, a young man in his mid teens could be seen lying down on the grass and looking upon the blue sky. This young man had blond spiky hair, blue eyes, pinkish skin and three whisker marks on each cheek along with a strange black cloak and closed toed boots. As he lied there, he thought back to the many years that he's been trapped in this strange reality.

It took him what felt like half a century to learn that this reality was artificial. He didn't like it and it drove him insane at times. Despite not being from around here, everything felt real, but it was no different from a reality marble. That there, was just a new false world inside of the current one so it would get confusing. Although a reality marble can break with enough force, he can't exactly break this land known as Yamato.
"Well, I don't have anything better to do. Might as well read it again for the hundredth time." he said to himself as he pulled out a white book.
LOVELESS - PROLOGUE
ACT 1 - When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end.
Meanwhile, the sky itself started to change color as lightning struck the ground.
The goddess descends from the sky.
All the while, several lights appeared all around the countryside.
Wings of light and dark spread afar.
Soon the land around the teen was engulfed with various round seals that summoned unique individuals.
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting.
As he finished reading the verse, the teen looked up to see the various lights. On one hand, he could see the various bright colors raining down from the sky. Almost like an aurora or a rainbow that split and fell from the heavens like a shooting star.
"So the Adventurers grace me with their presence once more." he said as he watched the lights continue to shower the land below them.
Soon enough, golden orbs also appeared in the sky. They started to spin rapidly before launching themselves into the lands of Yamato as well. The teen watched in awe as he felt a massive surge of mana surrounding the land around him. The teen smiled as a single tear made from blood came from his eye.
"Even in death, nothing will stall their return." he said with a bright smile as went into the nearest city.
Elsewhere, a while later
A young man with raven hair and glasses blinked a few times before realizing that something was different. He was in a strange attire similar to that of a practitioner of magic. He looked around and immediately recognized the area that he was summoned into. All around him, he could see various individuals freaking out and demanding answers to their questions from the shop owners and locals only to receive nothing.
As the young man continued to look around, he tripped on his feet which opened some strange futuristic menu. As he tested out its functions, he realized he could interact with the buttons and immediately attempted to log out. Only to be denied as the function to exit was denying him that. However he did give something else a try. He opened up his friends list and tried to look for anyone he knew best and tried to contact them.
That's when he contacted a close friend he hasn't seen in a long time.
Naotsugu
After a couple of minutes of running, he found an armored individual sitting on a rock, "Hey Shiroe!" the man said.
"Naotsugu! I expected you to look different." Shiroe greeted.
"Well you still look like the same nerd as always. Anyways, what's going on here?" Naotsugu asked as Shiroe ignored the insult.
"I don't know anything, but it looks like we're in the Elder Tales world." Shiroe said. "Didn't they add a new expansion?" he asked.
"Yeah the Novasphere Pioneers." Naotsugu said.
"Well, I can't remember anything after the moment I downloaded it and logged on." Shiroe said as he felt the moss on a rock. "These aren't pixels, this all feels real." he added.
"Yeah, the sky is so blue and so natural." Naotsugu said as both felt weird being in the seemingly real, yet virtual world.
From then on, the friends decided to look around. All the while discussing how life has been for them in the two years since they've logged out of the game. Now to return to their favorite video game which has sucked them into what feels like a new reality. With that in mind, Shiroe felt some deja vu. Kind of like there was something important he needed to remember.
But what was it?
It was most definitely not Naotsugu complaining about hitting on women from his job, "I love panties!" the armored man said.
Meanwhile in another world, a white haired man in his fifties sneezed and immediately went to search for a potential apprentice. He needed to pass on the title of Super Pervert to someone.
However, like actions, statements have consequences. One of these consequences being Naotsugu being hit by a rock coming from an abandoned building covered in moss. Naotsugu looked up and yelled at the figure that was hiding in the building.
"Hey watch it! Do you want to get punched in the peter!" Naotsugu threatened as Shiroe recognized the hidden figure.
"Akatsuki!" Shiroe said before they both ran up to meet the Assassin class adventurer.
As they arrived, they were met with a tall male around their age hiding behind a mask that only revealed their eyes. Shiroe mentioned to Naotsugu that he worked with Akatsuki before in a few raids. However Akatsuki never used chat so Enchanter never heard his voice before. Akatsuki removed the lower part of his mask to speak for the first time.
"Sir Shiroe, I've been looking for you. I need your help." Akatsuki said revealing her feminine voice. "I need your help to fix this body. Please sell me a potion." she said.
"Wait, you aren't a dude? That explains why you were always so quiet." Shiroe said as Naotsugu looked surprised.
Shiroe quickly gave Akatsuki a potion that was only available when the game first started. Akatsuki took it and was grateful as she hid behind some covers to begin her transformation. Shiroe stopped Naotsugu from peeping on her just before Akatsuki screamed in pain as she was surrounded by a bright red light. When it was over, Akatsuki revealed herself to be a petite girl with long purple hair.
"Wow babe city!" Naotsugu said likely hinting that he was a lolicon.
"You've truly saved me, I appreciate it." Akatsuki said with a stoic face.
"No problem." Shiroe said with a nervous look.
At night
The trio were outside of the building and were doing their own thing. Shiroe was going over the menu and features, Naotsugu was continuing his rant about lovely women and Akatsuki was stretching her body. All the while explaining that she only chose a male avatar to pretend to be someone else, but seeing where they are now. That left her uncomfortable.
Naotsugu opened his mouth again and said that using the bathroom is probably a good reason she doesn't want to be a man. This was met with the Assassin kneeing him in the chin while asking Shiroe if she could hit him for being perverse.
"Now, how may I repay you for the spell?" Akatsuki asked.
"There's no need for that. I'm just happy to help." Shiroe said.
"That's not enough, I don't want people to think I'm ungrateful." Akatsuki said while looking displeased.
Naotsugu came back with a stupid look on his face, "If you want you can give me a couple of..." he never finished as he was kicked in the face again.
"May I knee him in his stupid face again?" Akatsuki asked.
"Ask before you do it! I didn't even say anything this time!" Naotsugu said while clutching his nose.
"You were going to say something perverted." Akatsuki countered.
"Well... maybe." Naotsugu sort of admitted. "Anyways, you should join up with us for now." he suggested as Naotsugu believed in strength in numbers.
With that Akatsuki kneeled and bowed her head, "Sir Shiroe, for saving me from living in a man's body. Allow me to repay you by serving you as your personal ninja." she said.
Before Shiroe could say anything, he and Naotsugu tensed up as a familiar set of piano keys and ghost like choir played in the background.

Naotsugu paled, "Oh god, I remember this song and how weird it is!" he said.
"Yeah, like it's empty, but full of emotion." Shiroe said as Akatsuki pulled out her weapons.
"What is this?" She asked.
"It's that creepy guy in the coat again. He's probably here for a rematch since we kicked his butt last time." Naotsugu said as he tried to regain his composure.
"He must be weak if someone like you beat him." Akatsuki said making Naotsugu feel offended.
"Don't let it fool you Akatsuki. The last time he was defeated there were a total of 27 of us and it was a draw." Shiroe said as he analyzed the situation.
Even if the morrow is barren of promises

"He's always around when the text appears from nowhere." Shiroe said as the words manifested from nowhere.
"But that means he's here right?" Naotsugu said as he had his sword drawn.
"I would recommend you put that toy down before you hurt yourself you bumbling barbarian." Naotsugu jumped and dropped his sword.
Shiroe's glasses almost fell of as Akatsuki randomly swung her sword in the air, "Where is he?" she asked.
Suddenly in a mist of light, a chair appeared with a black hooded individual sitting down, "Right here." he answered.
Akatsuki jumped at the cloaked figure with her weapon aimed for him, "Akatsuki stop!" Shiroe called out.
The figure revealed his gloved hand and made some sort of red blade come out from his palm. The red blade clashed with the Assassin's blade as his other hand summoned another one of it's own. Naotsugu managed to pull the petite girl out in time before the figure tried to take her head off.
"Hey you can call me whatever you want. But I wouldn't hit him head on. Unless you have 24 extra level 90s with you by any chance." Naotsugu said.
"And I sent you and your little group to 85 when I took you all down with me. I suppose my technical defeat was enough to restore you status." the figure said.
"No it wasn't! You gave us what we already have along with a rusty spoon, a bronze coin and an expired lottery ticket!" Naotsugu said angrily.
"Is it safe to say you didn't win the lottery?" the figure asked.
"It was already claimed and it was from 2003." Shiroe said while adjusting his glasses.
"Well I suppose we all have bad luck." the figure taunted.
"What are you doing here anyways? This is the first time you approach an adventurer." Shiroe said while analyzing the cloaked figure.
The figure put his hands together, "To be frank, there are a lot of changes. None of them are natural. For instance, I can tell your Saber can feel pain." he said.
"You bet your ass! All I wanted to do was complement Akatsuki's cute... AHH!" Akatsuki interrupted Naotsugu by kneeing him in the face.
She then turned to Shiroe yet again, "Sir Shiroe, may I knee him for saying perverted things in front of our guest?" she asked.
"Why do you keep attacking and ask questions second?" Naotsugu whined while he clutched his bloody nose.
The figure chuckled, "He is no pervert Akatsuki-san." he said and Naotsugu was about to thank him. Only the figure added something to add salt to the wound, "He's a super pervert." he added.
Naotsugu prepared himself to take a knee to face only to receive a glare, "You said things are changing for the worst. So what's going on that's so bad? I mean, aside from being trapped in Elder Tales?" Shiroe asked.
"And while you're at it, could you turn down the music? It's very unnerving." Akatsuki asked.

The figure snapped his fingers making the song stop, "Anyways, as I said, a lot of bad things have happened and I can only fear the worst." the figure said as he rose up from his chair. "Many warriors of an ancient era have found themselves in this world. Likely with the belief that they will seek out a greater power that is out of their hands." he started.
Shiroe adjusted his glasses as he narrowed his eyes, "Similar to yourself?" he asked.
"In a way, however my abilities are slightly different as well as my origin. With that in mind, a lot of players are going to be running into high level opponents that will no doubt ruin their days by sending them back to the cathedral. Assuming those players I saw earlier didn't experience final death." the figure continued to explain.
"And you're telling us this because?" Naotsugu asked.
"You two are the only members of your group that defeated me. So it's best I find the strongest group that defeated me and likely find a way to reverse this situation." the figure said as he moved away and took point. "As for your servant, the assassin. It appears that your group has increased from two to three and now four. Let us get going now." he said while taking point.
"Are we seriously trusting this guy Shiroe?" Naotsugu asked.
"We don't have any better options. Besides if he approached us the first time." Shiroe said making Naotsugu grumble while Akatsuki remained defensive around her new leader.
The next morning
"While I'm unsure that death here is permanent. You will all require sustenance. So I recommend you find yourself something to fill you with nourishment." the figure said before jumping away into the distance.
"Did he just tell us to go on a lunch break?" Naotsugu asked.
"I believe so." Akatsuki said before they all went to various stalls.
While eating was a factor in playing the game. Everything around them was realistic and can now physically feel the world around them. Or in Naotsugu's case, you can now feel pain. Although all the food that the market had to sell looked rather delicious.
Later
The group didn't think twice about digging into their meals. It did look delicious so it explains the looks of disappointment that was evident on their faces.
"This stuff tastes like dog crap. It feels like a soggy cracker without any flavor." Naotsugu said with tears in his eyes.
"This is bad, really bad. All the drinks are basically flavorless water." Shiroe said.
Whatever complaining they had had ceased when they heard a grill. Turning their heads, they saw the cloaked figure messing some meat and a fire. To make the matters worse, the food he was cooking actually smelled good.
"I see you three have found sustenance. However from prior experience, I highly discourage speaking with the merchants." the figure said.
"Hey you told us to collect food." Naotsugu argued.
"I did, I admit that much. However the only thing I am to be blamed for is the fact that you decided to purchase food from the merchants." the figure replied as Naotsugu was ready to fight him.
"Naotsugu calm down, it probably doesn't taste that good anyways." Shiroe said before the figure removed his hood and made sounds of pleasure from eating his cooking.
The three just stared at him with eyes as wide as dinner plates as they watched him eat. the figure just continued to enjoy his bliss until he turned to the trio of adventurers.
"Is there something on my face?" he asked.
"Dude, this is the first time anyone has seen your face." Naotsugu said as Shirou nodded.
The figure started thinking about, "Oh yeah, I didn't like the sun so I kept my hood up." he said before devouring his food in front of them.
"Hey if you're going to share anything. Make it your tasty food." Naotsugu demanded.
The figure turned to Naotsugu with a blank face, "I don't feel like it." he said before continuing to eat.
Just as Naotsugu continued to argue with the figure, Shirou saw that he was receiving a call. Ignoring the argument going on in the background, he learned that it was an invite from a guild master named Marielle to visit her. Shiroe put the message aside when he went to talk to his teammates and mysterious companion only to see Naotsugu on the ground with several arrows on his armor while Akatsuki was enjoying the figure's food.
"How come she gets to eat?" Naotsugu asked.
"Because Akatsuki is not a pervert or a villain." the figure replied. "Also you didn't ask politely." he added.
"Can I please have some food?" Naotsugu asked.
The figure gave him a meaty kibabob to munch on. Shiroe sweat dropped at the situation but didn't register the fact that Akatsuki and Naotsugu were enjoying real food.
"Guys we have to meet up with Marielle at her guild." Shiroe spoke up.
"Who?" the figure asked.
"Marielle is the guild master of the Crescent Moon Alliance and asked for us to come by. Are you still planning on tagging along?" Shiroe asked.
"I don't see why not." the figure said before putting his hood back on.
At Crescent Moon Alliance
Shiroe continued to explain Marielle's guild and some other stuff along the way. The figure pretty much didn't really know much about the guilds since everyone assumed he was an NPC or some glitch. So he wasn't technically an Adventurer that could sign up or start his own guild. It's not like he registers as another character either since he remembered some failed attempts of people trying to message or befriend him.
That aside, Shiroe opened the door to find a pink room with lots of stuffed animals and a painting of a cute dog. Then suddenly some blonde woman with large breasts tackled Shiroe down.
"Shiroe! How are you? Are you hungry? Eat something! Eat Something! Not that it matters since the food has no flavor." Marielle said.
"Hey I still have some meat if you guys want any." the figure said to Akatsuki and Naotsugu who smiled with excitement.
"Who's this little cutie? Do you want a lollipop?" Marielle asked as she stroked Akatsuki like a cat.
"Shiroe where have you been hiding all these babes?" Naotsugu asked.
"I haven't been hiding her." Shiroe replied before Marielle turned her attention back to them.
"Oh and who's this?" Marielle said as she started hugging Naotsugu.
"I'm Naotsugu." he said while blushing.
"Wow, you're really buff! You must work out a lot!" Marielle said while slapping different parts of his armor.
"It's just a suit armor." Naotsugu replied as he looked like he was in a daze.
Suddenly a woman in a purple dress walked in, "Marielle please stop that." she said as the guild master removed herself from Naotsugu.
"Wow another hotty. It's babe city here." Naotsugu said eyeing the woman's beauty.
"Henrietta." Shiroe said the woman's name with much surprise.
"Sir Shiroe, I know I asked you in such short notice. Now considering the situation, I would like to ask you..." Henrietta stopped as she noticed Akatsuki and started to hug her to death. "You are so cute!" she said before Akatsuki got away.
Both women started to chase Naotsugu and Akatsuki around the room as the Crescent Moon guild members watched from outside. All the while Shiroe was trying his best to calm down the situation.
"Henrietta! Marielle! Could we get down to business!" yet it was too futile. However Shiroe had an idea and turned to the cloaked figure who was just sitting down on the couch without a care in the world, "Can you play your theme song?" he asked him.
The figure nodded as he snapped his fingers.

Everyone in the guild started to shake and tense at the sound of the cold yet emotional music. All those piano keys felt like they were hitting some place very hard and leading up to something sinister. Marielle and Henrietta stopped running around as they held each other in fear of what was coming.
"Hey what's up with the creepy music? Is this some kind of horror movie or something?" Marielle asked.
"Sir Shiroe where is that coming from?" Henrietta asked fearfully.
Shiroe chuckled, "Meet my former adversary, the Cloaked Figure." he said as the man waved.
Both women screamed, "Is he the grim reaper or something?" Marielle asked.
Before Shiroe could answer, the figure pulled out a scythe into existence making them both scream, "I've come for your souls, guild master and accountant." he said making some of the younger guild members pass out from fear.
"Ok that's enough with the jokes. You can turn it off now." Shiroe said.

One long explanation later about Shiroe's old group combatting the figure. Shiroe pretty much repeated what the figure said about the world changing and that they didn't have a good idea of what was going to happen. So they assumed the worst because both of them are intellectuals and realists. Unless they do something of course.
"Ok, but does he have a name? You keep calling him figure, hood, cloaked individual and so on." Henrietta asked.
Shiroe and Naotsugu scratched their heads sheepishly, "Hehe, we never asked. Do you have one?" Shiroe asked the figure.
The figure put his hands forward as some text appeared in front of the women.
NARUTO
Naotsugu started laughing, "You're named after a ramen topping!?" he asked before being need in the face by Akatsuki yet again.
"I will show you my gratitude for the meal by kicking him for you." Akatsuki said stoically.
"Ok maybe that time you could say it before or after." Naotsugu said as he already had a medkit ready for this situation.
"Anyways with that aside, what's the situation you wanted to talk to me about?" Shiroe asked.
Another member of the guild, Shouryuu, arrived with a chalkboard covered in maps. From there Marielle and Henrietta explained that it's practically every man for himself out there. That every guild was trying to get their hands on whoever they can to strengthen themselves. Then there were the PK's, Player Killers, who constantly attacked and robbed other players.
Now that there wasn't an admin, they were free to attack anyone at any time as much as they want so long as they leave the cities. Then there was the issue with transportation since players can't teleport from one place to another anymore. Finally there was the fear of death since no one was completely sure if they would be revived and returned to the nearest cathedral as they did in the original game.
Naruto, as the cloaked figure was named, said that he couldn't confirm the last fact either. Since the only other players he interacted with were attacked by something he called a Berserker. Naruto explained that it's one of the classes he uses to refer to the Adventurers since he compared them to the new bosses that are popping up. In this case, Shiroe compared them Monks but it sounded like they were much stronger and used abilities from other classes and subclasses.
"And now that I think about it. We're forgetting the fact that most of you have no idea how to fight." Naruto spoke up.
"Uh dude, of course we know how to fight." Naotsugu said looking at their old adversary like he's an idiot.
"The system hasn't changed that much has it?" Shiroe asked.
"You didn't see me fill Naotsugu with a bunch of arrows. So that's a good way of knowing he'll definitely die for good if we run into Atalanta. Who by the way, absolutely hates men, but loves small children and our legal loli won't be an acception." Naruto explained as Akatsuki looked offended.
"So are you going to be teaching us?" Shiroe asked with high hopes.
"Yeah, but you'll be doing it by fighting whatever we find in the outskirts." Naruto said before grabbing Shiroe and Naotsugu. "Thank you Lady Marielle and Lady Henrietta for your hospitality. But I need to prepare these three for the scary world outside of your lovely guild." he said as he left with Akatsuki following him.
"They were nice." Henrietta said.
Outside
After dragging the Adventurers out, Naruto decided to take point to the main gate. Much to the fears of the trio who were still unsettled by the idea of dying in real life. Like those weird movies about being trapped in virtual reality and then being tricked into thinking your in reality, but it's just some weird conondrome where you don't know where you are.
Basically Naruto's life for the past millennia.
"Are you sure this is safe Naruto-san?" Akatsuki asked.
"I'm your one and only guide Akatsuki-san. Who better than the only person who's aware of the changes?" Naruto asked before dragging them into the wild.
"Any tips before we face danger?" Shiroe asked.
"As in life, you do not have the luxury of pressing buttons or having do overs. Buttons will not save you here and you will have to fight with the intent to kill." Naruto explained as they went deep into the forest.
Two days later
As Naruto said, they had to fight with actual intent to fight. It was difficult to adjust to and rather unnerving. However things were much more calm as some unlucky, or now lucky, individual was killed and sent back to the cathedral. At least it lowered the anxiety for everyone who was afraid of the local PKs.
At least now Naruto had given his new allies motivation to step up their game. They maybe level 90 now, but rank won't mean anything to a bunch of neanderthals waving their sticks and and swords around or even jumping tree to tree. Speaking of which, Akatsuki took this chance to disappear in the dark and go tree to tree to do a little bit of scouting as Shiroe reminded them about classes and subclasses.
"So her class is Assassin and her subclass is Tracker. So that equals ninja. Remind me not to piss her off." Naotsugu said.
"You should have figured that out when you decided to let her know that you're a pervert." Naruto replied.
As the men continued forward, Naruto's senses went haywire. He didn't want to startle his companions, but at the same time it would be risky not to tell them. One other factor was that he would alert the seven threats surrounding them. It didn't take too long for Shiroe to notice them as he saw a shadow running past them.
"We got company." Naotsugu said.
Shiroe used a spell to light up the area, "We got four of them." he said.
"No, you two have four. I'll deal with the fifth one that followed us." Naruto said as his cloak started glowing underneath.
"Wait, you're not going to help us!?" Naotsugu asked with wide eyes.
"You have a third partner. Maybe you should ask her. But don't worry, this threat is much more powerful than these losers." Naruto said before disappearing into the trees. 'Well, that's assuming those two Akatsuki spotted aren't too powerful.' he thought as he left Shiroe and Naotsugu to face their adversaries.
As the fighting continued in the center. Naruto scouted around the trees, briefly seeing the scuffle Akatsuki was in but continued moving forward. That's when he heard the sounds of some kind of chariot aimed after him. Jumping away in time, he saw a green haired man with light armor crashing through the trees.
"I never would have expected another heroic spirit to be following those Adventurers. Tell me, is one of them your master Caster?" the green haired man asked.
Naruto shook his head, "No to the first question and you assumed incorrectly about my class Rider." he said as he drew a katana and wakizashi in separate hands.
"So a Saber then? That only makes things more fun." Rider said as he drew out a spear and engaged him in battle.
However a few minutes into the clashing, Naruto tossed his wakizashi at Rider's head. Rider narrowly avoided it before landing a kick on Naruto's chest and trying to follow up with a few punches. Only "Naruto" disappeared out of existence only to reappear behind Rider and slash at his heel. Rider gave into the pain quickly as he crashed down into the ground.
"There are two types of arrogant people in this world. Those who only talk and those who have the power to back up their words." Naruto said as he avoided the next punch before landing an uppercut under Rider's jaw before kicking him into a tree. "I see Chiron hasn't taught you much patience in the time I left." he added.
Rider spat at the ground as he grabbed his spear and continued striking at Naruto. It seemed to be an even match where Rider was slowly finding a good point to catch his opponent off guard. Only to fall for the trap of Naruto's use of the afterimage. Before he realized it, Rider was shot by a wave of lightning from Naruto's hand.
"What the? Are you some kind of Caster too?" Rider asked.
Naruto responded by making the wood restrain Rider, "You ask a lot of questions, but you still don't learn Achilles." he said.
The Rider shot his eyes up, "How do you know my name?" he asked.
"First, you took more damage than you did with that heel of yours. Chiron and I always hassle you about it. Second, you're the only other person I know with spiky hair." Naruto said before revealing his face.
"Nii-san?" Achilles asked.
Back to the other fight
After defeating the enchanter and one of the thieves of the PK group. All that was left was the leader and the only female player, who already ran away. The leader attempted to call out for his other two remaining teammates. However Akatsuki appeared and was dragging their unconscious bodies revealing that she defeated them.
"Your teamwork is crap." Naotsugu said.
"Well this isn't the end. Even if you send me to the cathedral. There will always be more PKs!" the PK leader boasted.
"So, we'll just keep sending you back every time." Naotsugu replied.
The man proceeded to bow his head apologetically, "Please don't kill me. I'm sorry." he lied. Shiroe saw through this as the PK quickly got up and tried to stab him with a hidden blade, "Ha tricked ya!" he said only to be shot in the chest with a barrage of arrows.
"Game over." Naruto said revealing himself.
The PK collapsed as his body was destroyed and sent back to the cathedral, "Oh so now you decided to come out?" Naotsugu said very annoyed.
"I had to collect one troubled child." Naruto said as he revealed Achilles who had a lump on his head.
"Ok, who is that man?" Akatsuki demanded to know.
Later
"Ok, so basically because there is no real purpose in life for this world. PKs are popping up because they need some form of adrenaline?" Naruto asked.
"That's pretty much it. In a way with how things are, this isn't exactly living." Shiroe answered.
Akatsuki looked at the Rider who was enjoying some kebabs with Naotsugu, "So he's supposedly the actual legendary hero of Troy?" she asked.
"The hero of the Trojan War Akatsuki-chan." Naruto replied making a tick mark appear on his head.
"Actually I'm a heroic spirit. There's no real proof from what the throne told us that we're the real deal. Ushiwakamaru said we're the spirits that represent the real humans from." Achilles said speaking out his thoughts.
"I still say he's a projection of the real Achilles's subconscious." Naruto said.
"It would explain why that random Saber I saw earlier called herself an emperor. Although I initially doubted her class on the count that she had big breasts." Achilles was shut up by Akatsuki who kneed him in the chin. "What the hell is wrong with you shrimp?" he asked.
"She hates perverts, but he's still right Akatsuki-chan. That's the thing that tends to annoy many female Sabers." Naruto added.
"And as I was saying, this Saber said she was an emperor and despite pointing out she was a woman. Something about being a Roman Emperor of Roses." Achilles finished.
Naruto took that information in, "It must have been Nero." he said.
"Who's Nero?" Shiroe asked.
"Nero Claudius, the fifth emperor of Rome. She claimed to be the emperor of Roses. Ironically enough, she seemed to have some naive ideas, but at least had a plan. I should end my story before I get political." Naruto said.
"Wasn't Nero Claudius a tyrant and a man?" Shiroe asked.
"Well that's the trick about the heroic spirits. While they are based on their true stories but their abilities and powers are often reflected on human beliefs. In actuality, Rome was fine and could have been better. Nero was loved by her people but her senate believed that the country was not made of citizens, but rather themselves and their self interests. At one point I saved Nero from her own mother who tried to poison her." Naruto further explained.
"They always said that history is written by the victors." Achilles spoke up.
"Man that's messed up." Naotsugu said.
"So is this world. So it's best to come up with a plan of action for now." Naruto said.
"I bet the Crescent Moon Alliance wouldn't mind an explanation. Is it safe to say not all these guys are friendly?" Shiroe asked.
Naruto shook his head, "I highly doubt the servants are easily killed here. There's no telling if they can resurrect as well." he said.
At the guild
Marielle had invited Shiroe and his group again. The guild master had proceeded to explain that one of her guild members, Serara, is stuck on the other side of the country. Shiroe calculated that the travel on foot would be 425 kilometers (264 miles) and the transportation device isn't predictable. So there was no guarantee that they would arrive in the right place.
Before Shiroe could decline the request, Marielle interrupted stating that she would use most of her guild members to attempt the journey themselves. Shiroe's mind was all over the place as he saw too many issues to count when hearing that plan. Then there was the fact that Shiroe himself was too much of a stickler about remaining neutral and avoiding conflict between the guilds.
Then there was Naruto.
"You shouldn't ask too much from a villain Marielle. Besides, I can head out and fetch her myself with Achilles by my side." Naruto said as the Rider nodded.
"Most of these guys are pretty weak. I don't think we need much else to save one little girl." Achilles boasted.
"You will? That's great to hear Naruto!" Marielle said as she jumped and tried to tackle him down.
Naruto was prepared and quickly switched himself with Naotsugu, "No problem, we'll be there by dawn." he said as he stretched.
"Now hold on a minute." Shiroe spoke up. "You aren't going alone, because we're tagging along." he said making Marielle have stars in her eyes.
"Shiroe your the best!" she said while still hanging onto Naotsugu who was struggling to remove her.
"If that's the case, then maybe you should stay here to replenish your mana Achilles." Naruto said.
"Hey what the hell!? I can still fight!" Achilles said.
"Yes, but I can't guarantee you regenerate like the Adventurers and you didn't have enough to attempt a D rank noble phantasm. So I don't need you running out of energy. Until then." Naruto waved his hand over the green haired man's head. The man soon shrunk down and was aged into a child, "I need you to stay a smaller form to conserve and replenish mana.
Before Achilles could whine about being turned into a lilly, Henrietta glomped on him, "He's so cute!" she said as she started squeezing him. "Sir naruto, I promise to take good care of him. I'll bathe him, I'll feed him, I'll dress him and everything too!" she said like a schoolgirl that found a puppy.
"Get off me lady, I'm the hero of the Trojan War!" Achilles complained.
"Ok let's go." Naruto said as they left.
Outside
The trio of Adventurers pulled out strange looking whistles before blowing into them. Naruto then spotted three random horses galloping towards them. Naruto however, stood there as his the shadow under his hood started to glow brightly. Then from the sky, an armored blue lion or tiger like creature came flying down to him.
"Are you seriously going to one up us?" Naotsugu asked.
"Are you going to stop me?" Naruto asked as he jumped onto his mount's seat.
"What is that thing by the way?" Akatsuki asked.
"An arcanist manasaber, I found it when I visited a timeline from the past." Naruto answered as the trio settled up on their horse mounts.
"Hey I don't know much about history, but if that Achilles guy is the real one from the trojan war. Then how come you know him if you're trapped in the game?" Naotsugu asked.
"I have a way of visiting the other timelines. I've met many historical and legendary figures. Joan of Arc, Diarmuid ua Duibhne, Mordred, Ushiwakamaru even Gilgamesh." Naruto answered.
"Isn't the last one a video game character?" Naotsugu asked.
"Actually that's a real historical figure Naotsugu, Mesopotamian or something." Shiroe spoke up.
"So how old are you?" Naotsugu asked with wide eyes.
"Honestly, I think the game took away the concept of time for me. I was 12 when I first showed up and I've been stuck here for a long time." Naruto answered vaguely as they rode off into the night.
As they continued to ride, the group to a brief break to stretch and drink their flavorless water. All the while Shiroe explained the concept of the map and distance they need to reach. When finished, Naotsugu and Shiroe revealed their special whistles which summoned a pair of griffins much to Akatsuki's shock. Naruto however just smiled and shook his head as his own mount spread out it's wings again.
The next journey was long and hectic as the griffins couldn't go more than a few hours of flight. So they ended up going under some cave which Naruto discouraged. Shiroe stated it was the best and fastest way to reach Serara. So they ended up facing an army of monster rats. After dealing with that shit show, the group finally made it out of the underground cave and found the city where Serara was hiding out.
"Akatsuki, conceal yourself and keep an eye on us." Shiroe ordered.
"Right my lord." Akatsuki said as she jumped high and hid herself.
"Now is probably a good time to switch to Assassin class." Naruto said as his weapons changed underneath his coat.
"Hey I forgot to ask. If you can become an Assassin, but Achilles is Rider. Rider isn't a standard class in Elder Tales and you aren't a normal boss." Shiroe started to explain.
"I'll answer the question depending on how long it is." Naruto said.
"So, how many classes are there in total?" Shiroe asked as this caught Naotsugu's ears.
"Yeah, now that I think about it. You called me Saber and later mentioned Berserker." Naotsugu added.
"There are seven standard classes but a couple more that are more unique." Naruto answered.
"Let me guess your the unique one since you can switch class?" Shiroe asked.
"Yes, but ironically there are servants that can use dual summoning. Those ones are absolutely rare and can use skills from a secondary class. Mine is more rare and powerful, but it can be more tricky and unstable since my skills switch." Naruto answered.
"Like what kind of skills?" Naotsugu asked.
"Riding is one, it's mostly a Rider skill but a few Sabers are able to use it. Depending on the rank the user can either ride amazing creatures like a pegasus or your griffins for example. Then there's people who would like fall of something as simple as a tricycle." Naruto explained.
"I'd love to see that." Naotsugu said with a chuckle.
"Then you better hope we find Bart Roberts riding a horse." Naruto replied before using presence of concealment.
Naotsugu nodded at the impressive technique, "Can you do that Akatsuki?" he asked. Her response was a snowball to the head, "A simple no would be fine." he said.
The group thus made their way inside the decrepit old city, "So Shiroe, how exactly do we find Serara?" Naotsugu asked.
"She's over here, by that old building. Naotsugu you stay here. Naruto you're free to stay close." Shiroe said as both took their positions.
Shiroe continued to make his way inside where he saw a little girl with long red hair, "I'm Serara, of the Crescent Moon Alliance. Thank you for coming." she said nervously while bowing her head.
That's when a man with a cat's head appeared, "Meow." he greeted.
"Wait... is that you chief!?" Shiroe asked with a shocked expression.
"Cat boy?" Naruto asked as he appeared.
"Shiroe why is the cloaked figure with you!?" Nyanta asked as he put a hand on his rapier.
"Is he bad?" Serara asked.
"I'm here to take your soul Serara of the Crescent Moon Alliance." Naruto said as he pulled out a scythe and prepared to turn his music on.
"EEP!" Serara hid behind Nyanta.
"Hey calm down, he doesn't mean it. Besides, he's actually here to help us for once." Shiroe said as Naruto removed his hood.
"The name's Naruto by the way. I forgot to mention it before." Naruto said as Serara blushed and Nyanta went wide eyed. "So are we leaving or not?" he asked.
"Now hold on, we still have one more person. She's just grabbing her gear." Nyanta said as a busty brown haired woman came walking in with a staff.
"I'm here, now who do we have here?" she asked.
Naruto went wide eyed, "What the? Lisa Giocondo, what are you doing here outside of Italy?" he asked.
The woman giggled, "I may appear as the ideal beauty, old friend, but in reality, I'm the man who painted her." she said.
"I'm sorry, are we missing something here?" Shiroe asked.
Naruto stayed silent for one moment, then he freaked out, "Leonardo da Vinci... how dare you... how dare you ruin... the perfect image... of the ideal beauty? One of the few things... that humanity had to offer?" he asked as he was ready to snap.
Leonardo smiled as she leaned in and tapped his nose, "Because now... no one will complain when I comfortably walk around naked." she said further annoying the blond.
Naruto turned to the two men and girl, "This is not the first time I've dealt with this." he said.
"You dealt with a man inside a woman's body?" Nyanta asked.
"No, the other time was a woman dressed up and pretending to be a man." Naruto answered. "Let's just go before trouble shows up." he said as he left the room.
"So Shiroe, how have you been?" Nyanta asked.
"I've been find, I'm surprised to see you here of all places Chief." Shiroe answered.
"You two know each other?" Serara asked.
"In a way, little Shiroe used to check me for fleas." Nyanta answered.
"No I didn't." Shiroe said before receiving a call from Akatsuki. "Hey, how far?" he asked her.
"North and they're five minutes away. Their leader looks like a monk but..."
"That must be guild master of Brigandia, Demikas." Nyanta said as Serara started shaking.
"I heard is a nasty man that practically owns this city." Leonardo said as Naruto nodded.
"Good thing Naotsugu and Akatsuki are standing guard." Naruto said.
"Little Naotsugu is here with you too Shiroe?" Nyanta asked.
"Yeah, along a level 90 Assassin named Akatsuki. You should consider joining us in Akihabara Chief." Shiroe suggested.
"Maybe it's the heavens themselves that's telling me to head there. So sure, I'll tag along little Shiroe." Nyanta said making Serara smile.
"Speaking of which, what is your servant class my dear intern?" Leonardo asked.
Naruto smirked, "Foreigner, but I have skill that surpasses dual summoning. So I can switch to each standard class one at a time." he said before using presence of concealment.
"I see my intern is currently using his Assassin form." Leonardo said while looking impressed.
The group soon departed for the exit as the legion of Demikas kept their eyes on them. Unaware that Shiroe was calculating a plan to make it out of here. Serara was very afraid of the stares and wasn't too excited about the idea of leaving the city and being in the open since it would give Demikas a chance to attack. Nyanta remained optimistic as he knew Shiroe was the best at strategies and it helped knowing that there were three others with them that could help in the fight.
Their thoughts were broken as the man himself appeared before them, just waiting to torture poor Serara and destroy the rest of them.
"It's been a long time Serara. You didn't think you could disobey me and get away with it did you?" Demikas asked as he jumped down from his makeshift throne. "Now if you come back quietly, all will be forgiven. Although I might send you to cathedral a few times before then." he said as he showed of his claws.
"Recklessness is the way of the young, but there is a such thing as taking it too far." Nyanta said before waving his hand at Demikas. "So come on, I'll fight you one on one." he said.
"Ridiculous. Why would I fight you?" Demikas demanded.
"Don't tell me you're afraid." Nyanta taunted.
"I'm sorry to interrupt mr. uh... Delicious." Shiroe said making Serara yell in fear at how relaxed he looks from saying that. "But it doesn't have to be you. It could be the guy in the gray robe." he added further infuriating the insane PK leader.
"If you want to fight that much. Then I'll fight you!" Demikas said as he disappeared and reappeared in front of Nyanta and punched the ground.
Like a real cat, Nyanta's reflex gave him time to avoid the attack, "It's been a long time since I've gotten to devour someone." Nyanta said as he landed and drew his twin rapiers. "I would rather that the girl doesn't see anything too gory. So let me know if you want me to go easy on you." Nyanta said further taunting him.
"Keep talking!" Demikas said as they exchanged blows with their respective weapons.
"Serara, prepare a healing spell for Chief." Shiroe said.
"But my level isn't high enough?" Serara said with doubts.
"Don't worry about that, but just be ready." Shiroe said as noticed Nyanta's health being lowered.
As the two combatants traded blows and clashed with their respective blades. Naruto and Leonardo noticed the hidden battalion heading their way. There was likely no way that Naotsugu and Akatsuki would be able to take on that many on their own.
"Heal me you fools! And second squad destroy the rest!" Demikas demanded.
"And here they come." Leonardo said as the second group of PKs appeared.
A few them charged at Nyanta only for Naotsugu to appear, "Anchor Howl!" he said forcing the enemy to face him.
"Healer teams, heal Demikas!" the leading enchanter ordered.
"Naruto, now would be a good time to use that." Leonardo suggested.
"Right!" Naruto said.
Shiroe was just about to give Serara the signal to start healing when he noticed Naruto glowing. All the while the second wave of PKs started heading his way regardless. That's when Naruto tossed a rose into the air before it exploded into a mass of petals. Before anyone realized it, they were all transported inside of a large golden theater.

"Behold Nero's glory! Aestus Domus Aurea!" Naruto called out before revealing an oddly shaped red sword. "In the words of the fifth emperor... UMU!" he yelled as he ran past the second squad and created a single slash.
A second later the whole group was sent flying, "What is this?" Shiroe asked with wide eyes.
"This is a noble phantasm. The power that is defined by our legends. It appears that Naruto can use this one due to his bond with Nero Claudius." Leonardo says as Naruto slashes through each PK with ease.
"All luck goes to me and my allies. This includes critical damage and bonuses." Naruto said as the enemy attack damage was reduced.
Hearing that, Serara used her magic to heal Nyanata and Naotsugu, "Heartbeat Healing!" she called out as their health bars replenished quickly.
"What is this!? Why aren't you fools healing me!?" Demikas demanded to know as he noticed his HP going up 1 every second. "Tiger Echo Fist!" he said as he made Nyanta crash into some trees.
"Thorn Bind Hostage!" Shiroe called out as he made some vines appear and restrain Demikas.
"Ha, this noble ghost thing is pretty cool!" Naotsugu said as his Stone Castle was lasting longer than usual.
"I also feel like the thorn vines are keeping him in place very well." Shiroe said.
"This won't work on me!" Demikas said while trying to move only to feel that the enhanced strength from the thorns were keeping him in place.
Which left Nyanta time to openly attack him with his rapiers. The battle was over in an instant once the thorns were cut off and Demikas collapsed on his back. The healing team was shocked and attempted to heal their fallen leader only to for Akatsuki to appear and attack them from behind.
"Interesting, despite Nyanta being the weaker fighter. The thorns themselves increased his damage whenever he landed an attack. Which only became worse for Demikas due to the critical damage rate." Leonardo said as she analyzed the strategy.
All the while Naruto lifted the last of Demikas's henchmen by the shoulder, "Wooh, haven't dealt with this many enemies in a long time." he said before stabbing the poor soul and sending him back to the cathedral.

"Your legion is gone Demikas and we've won. Or would you like to continue fighting?" Shiroe asked.
"Shut your mouth. I'm sending you all to the cathedral over and over again. Until you break!" Demikas yelled as he dashed towards Shiroe with the intent to kill.
"Stop!" Serara yelled as she slammed her staff onto Demikas and finishing him off.
"Seems like you will be the one visiting the cathedral." Shiroe said.
"I won't forget you enchanter Shiroe, I won't forget your face!" Demikas said promising that he will return in their lives.
With that, the reality marble collapsed and they returned to the forest. Seeing as they were finally finished with their mission, Shiroe, Naotsugu and Nyanta blew their whistles to summon the griffins once more. Naruto also proceeded to summon his arcanist manasaber.
"Aren't you coming Serara?" Nyanta asked as he extended his hand to the red haired girl.
"Akatsuki, let's go." Shiroe said catching the Assassin's attention.
Then there was Naotsugu who just noticed Leonardo, "Hey lady, if you want you can ride with..."
"Onward my dear intern!" Leonardo said as she sat behind Naruto and wrapped her arms behind him.
"You are making this very awkward old man." Naruto said before the manasaber spread out its wings and took off into the sky with the others.
"To Akihabara!" Naotsugu said as he forgot about his rejection.
Later, at night
After a long flight, the group settled into a forest to camp out for the night. At some point Nyanta revealed he had his own cooking skills since he had the cooking skill subclass. Which finally sparked into Shiroe's mind that he needs to convert his knowledge of the game into real life situations. Then they started mentioning some old group called the Debauchery Tea Party.
"So you were all part of a guild together?" Serara asked.
"No, it was more a hang out. Although we did work together like one." Nyanta answered.
'That explains why they all work so well together. I've fought with Lord Shiroe all this time and yet I don't meet expectations. I need to practice more.' Akatsuki thought.
"Hey Akatsuki, did you eat too much?" Naotsugu asked.
"No, but you did tell a lie. There is no way Naotsugu could have been part of such a legendary party." Akatsuki said.
"It's true!" Naotsugu argued.
"Unless it was some other oversized perverted idiot that challenged me first when I used a mad enhancement." Naruto said.
"Oh yeah, that weird thing where you got super strong right? Which class is that one?" Naotsugu asked.
"It's mainly for Berserkers. The lower it is, the less bonuses and sanity you have." Naruto answered.
"Meow. What about you Ms. Da Vinci? What skills do you have?" Nyanta asked.
"Item Construction and Territory Creation, so if anyone needs supplies. I am more than well prepared." Leonardo said cheerfully.
"I bet you could create an extra bra to contain those lovely..." at this point you would expect Akatsuki to kick Naotsugu, instead someone else dealt the hit.
"Shinigami Chop!" Naruto said as his hand grew to a cartoonish size and karate chopped Naotsugu's head.
"Hey what the hell is that for?" Naotsugu asked as he covered his bleeding head.
"Leonardo already defiled the ideal beauty. I don't need you inspecting it and damaging IT MORE!" Naruto said as he performed some kind of scary big head technique. He then proceeded to hit Leonardo on the head, "That's for defiling it!" he then hit her again. "That's for letting me damage Mona's body!" and one more for Naotsugu, "And that's in case you say or do something perverted again!" he said.
"Remind me not to invite him to a museum." Shiroe said.
"Hey that reminds me, Naruto if you can time travel. Why don't you stop the apocalypse from happening?" Naotsugu asked.
"I didn't think you had the necessary brain cells to ask a good question Naotsugu." Akatsuki said.
"It's not a good question, because I can't time travel." Naruto said.
"But you said you've been around time. You were able to visit the Trojan War and then the Italian Renaissance." Shiroe said expressing his confusion.
Naruto sighed, "That's a conundrum of its own. I didn't travel through time because I was launched into ancient Mesopotamia where I had to go through human civilization up until the beginning of the 21st century. Then I got stuck here instead of limbo." he explained.
"So your telling me you got stuck in a straight line with no way back to your own time?" Nyanta asked.
"Pretty much." Naruto answered.
"Is there anyone you miss Naruto?" Serara asked.
"Eh, life was kind of a mess where I'm from." Naruto answered truthfully. 'Albeit their human civilization doesn't have the Elemental Nations. Not like it's better or worse.' he thought as he didn't want to explain his existence.
"Well what era are you from?" Shiroe asked.
"One that's not written in the history books." Naruto lied but no one pestered him about it for the rest of the night.
"Hey wait! So you knew about this trick the whole time?" Shiroe asked as he pointed at his dinner.
"Yeah, if you can feel pain or in Naotsugu's case, bleed from the nose. You should understand that you need to survive the way I did." Naruto answered nonchalantly. "In other words, your an adult and you should have figured it out." he added.
"Hey you could have said something! Don't you need us!?" Naotsugu asked.
"Yeah, but it doesn't mean I have to teach you independent adult skills." Naruto answered while Naotsugu fumed.
Leonardo was basically a smile child as she just turned her head towards whoever was talking at every moment, "I think everyone should rest for the night. Before someone ends up retaining a serious injury." she said.
'That boy is very strange.' Nyanta and Serara thought as they looked at Naruto.
A couple days later, Akihabara
After arriving back at the Crescent Moon Guild, of course Marielle was ecstatic to see Serara again. However the party was almost cut short as Naruto arrived with his hood down, his scythe in both hands and his music on full blast.
"I've delivered your precious Serara, now I can collect all your souls as once." Naruto said in the most raspiest voice he could provide.
Many of the men started to scream and piss themselves until Naotsugu appeared, "Relax guys, he's just one of us see?" he said as he removed Naruto's hood and revealed his normal human appearance.
"Oh what a relief."
"It's just some kid!"
"He's kind of cute with those whisker marks."
"Shinigami Chop!" Naruto said as he slammed his gigantic hand down Naotsugu's head.
"Are you and Akatsuki secretly related?" Naotsugu asked.
"No, but he is something close to an actual reaper." Shiroe said as he put Naruto's hood back on.
"Speaking of the dead, where is my little brother?" Naruto asked only for a little boy in a sailor suit to come out running.
"Onii-chan save me!" Achilles yelled as he hid behind Naruto.
"Ok now time to go. It was fun, but now I have to save whatever is left of the kid's mental health." Naruto said as he grabbed Achilles disappeared.
"Aw, I had another suit ready for him." Henrietta said as she had some clothes ready for Achilles.
"I also wanted to give Naruto a big hug for helping Serara." Marielle said.
That's when Shiroe pulled out a slip of paper, "That reminds me, Naruto wanted you to have this." he said as he handed it to Marielle.
Marielle opened the paper and read it's contents.
If your happy for whatever reason. Hug Naotsugu, no matter what he says or does, he only wants you to hug tighter.

"Lord Shiroe, Lady Da Vinci, Naruto wanted me to give you these." Akatsuki said as she handed them some slips of paper.
"Let's see what that phantom wants." Shiroe said as he read his.
I do not have ESP. I can just read the future. Also Leonardo is going to start scratching the door to Henrietta's change room. Don't open it even if she starts screaming.
"What is he talking about?" Shiroe asked as Leonardo left and came back a few minutes in the form of a little girl.
"Shiroe please hold this for me." she said as she gave him her the other slip of paper.
I saw your little experiment in the bag you pervert. Regardless, use it and approach the one named Henrietta in that body. She will envy you and present you her own creation which greatly interest you.
Shiroe raised a brow as he turned to see Henrietta holding Leonardo close to her body. Most likely at the sight of how adorable she is in her child form. That's when the accountant dragged the famous artist to her change room. A minute later, Shiroe saw a young guild member around Serara's age walk into the room with a set of dresses.
That's when he heard Leonardo scratching the door like an anxious dog. Then there was some screaming that was drowned out by the music in the background.
"Hey Shiroe and everyone else, take a look at this." Nyanta said as he looked out the window.
From outside, everyone watched as Achilles returned to his adult form and was helping Naruto carry Leonardo's body. It was kind of disturbing to say the least and some of the guys were having perverted thoughts as to what Naruto was doing.
"Why are we carrying a dead body again?" Achilles asked which made the men pale rather than feel envious.
"She's not dead, she just switched to another body. Thinking about it, Leonardo broke the number one rule of art and plagiarized the ideal beauty by making another Mona Lisa." Naruto answered.
"But didn't he paint it?" Achilles asked.
"Yes, the painting but Mona was a real woman. She was art itself, but he made another one. Thinking about it now, he was also the man who painted the human anatomy." Naruto answered.
"Nii-san, I'm a heroic spirit. I don't need a history lesson on things I know." Achilles said.
"Sometimes I forget you people are literal wikipedia pages." Naruto muttered.
"What's wikipedia?" Achilles asked.
"The number one source of information, but it's not always guaranteed to be accurate." Naruto replied.
"So a heroic spirit." Achilles said as Naruto nodded.
Shiroe and the rest sweat dropped as they heard the conversation, "I think this update is going to be a big change." he said.
The next night
After Nyanta started to help train Marielle's chefs in the art of cooking real food. Shiroe and his trio decided to visit Naruto and see what was going on with him since he left the party last night. Although it was difficult to find him during the day until there was some structure located in the corner of Akihabara. From there they found a giant clock tower surrounded by a victorian style building.
From there they saw a giant painted sign at the large double doors.

"Naruto are you in there!?" Naotsugu yelled.
That's when the hooded teen appeared with a white squirrel like creature on his shoulder, "Fou!" it said.
"You called?" Naruto asked.
"Where have you been man?" Naotsugu asked.
"Making a school to educate you fools about the heroic spirits. In other words, I hope to past down my wisdom in hopes that none of you go charging into someone as dangerous and reckless as Lu Bu or Lancelot." Naruto answered.
"So you built a school?" Akatsuki asked.
"Pretty much, also Achilles is a gym teacher and so is another close friend of mine." Naruto said before a blond woman appeared behind Naotsugu and suplexed him.
"Class in session! First lesson, escaping wrestling holds!" she said as Naotsugu was wondering why every attractive blonde woman wanted to suffocate him.
"Who is that?" Shiroe asked.
"Quetzalcoatl, a peaceful Aztec goddess." Naruto answered.
"So why is she attacking the baka?" Akatsuki asked.
"She likes luchador wrestling." Naruto answered as Naotsugu tapped out.
"Fail." Quetzalcoatl said as she dropped the armored man. The goddess looked down to see Akatsuki pulling on her arm, "What do you need child?" she asked sweetly.
"Please teach me your ways." Akatsuki said making a bright smile appear on Quetzalcoatl's face.
Shiroe just pinched the bridge of his nose, "Ok so how did you find this one?" he asked.
Flashback, last night
As Naruto and Achilles continued to move Mona Lisa's body (or Leonardo's new body). As they moved, towards an abandoned building to begin setting up a base of operations. They suddenly sensed a massive reserve of mana and moved out of the way quickly. By then, a figure appeared and smashed into their makeshift base.
"I found you! You little hoodlums can't escape me now!" said a woman as she pulled out a club and went after Naruto.
The hooded blond pulled out a spear and blocked the attack before kicking her in the abdomen, "Calm down you wild animal!" he said.
"I see, the two of you are servants of those hoodlums." the woman said before jumping up and trying to slam down on Achilles. Only his shield blocked the attack power which surprised her, "What is this strange shield made of?" she asked.
"It's the strongest one you will face!" Achilles said with smirk as he pushed her back.
Shaking her head head, the woman turned her attention back to Naruto who tossed a sharp tipped chain at her. The woman expertly landed on the chain and ran towards the blond and punched him. Instead of Naruto flying several meters as she expected, he stood his ground and punched her right back in the face. The woman stepped back a couple feet and smiled as the two traded blows for several minutes.
"Ok that's enough!" Achilles shouted.
The two stopped and started to laugh as the woman jumped into Naruto's arms and held his head close to her chest, "Naruto, why didn't you tell your nee-chan it was you? Better yet, why didn't you try to find me first?" she asked.
"I didn't have a lot of time nee-chan. I ran into Achilles and then I had to travel to the otherside of the country. That's where I met Leonardo Da Vinci and... ugh, I'm too tired." Naruto said before dropping her.
"Am I missing something?" Achilles asked as a bead of sweat ran down the back of his head.
"Achilles, meet Quetzalcoatl. She's an Aztec goddess and another member of the Rider class. She also proclaims to be a gentle goddess and elder sister figure to everyone." Naruto said before the woman grabbed him in a headlock.
"And the biggest fan of luchadores!" she added before trying to supplex him only for Naruto to reverse it quickly.
"But I am no slouch. So you have to try harder than dishonorable sneak attacks." Naruto replied as he twisted her arm.
The goddess smiled, "I thought you said you were tired. I guess I get to release my full potential." she said.
End of flashback
"Ok, but that doesn't explain why you built a school." Akatsuki pointed out.
Naruto poked the short girl's nose, "Au contraire Akatsuki-chan, what you just said is the reason itself. Ignorance." he said before turning back to the building with his arms behind him. "Over the course human existence, we have become ignorant and while you can blame the elderly or people of the past in general. It is your own faults for not doing anything about it to prevent history from repeating itself. It's also why stupid people from other ethnicities can't claim that they own their own food." he explained.
"Like American's claiming the burger as their own?" Shiroe asked.
"Exactly, they added the bun, but the patty came from Germany. Like the burger, people don't understand true history and often times try to change it. Another fun fact, did you know that modern teenagers in the West say that the American civil war was caused by the government taking their land by force?" Naruto asked.
"I don't know because I don't care." Naotsugu said before taking a shinigami chop to the head.
"That is because all world history is everyone's history!" Naruto said. "Therefore my school will properly educate you in both world history and survival." he said.
"So a school where the pointless stuff actually helps?" Naotsugu asked as he prepared to get hit in the head.
"Precisely! You get an A for the day Naotsugu. Akatsuki, Shiroe, I expect you to follow this young man's example and ignore the fact that he failed gym class on his first day." Naruto said as he summoned a regal looking cane. "Now, please return with your fellow Tea Party member and anyone from the Crescent Moon Alliance. Education is public and open house will begin tomorrow and you can register for room and board then." he said as he tapped the ground and went back inside with the Aztec goddess.
"Ok what was that?" Akatsuki asked as she was still confused.
"I don't know, but let's just humor him. It's a good thing that a legendary boss like the Hooded Figure is on our side." Shiroe said as he adjusted his glasses.
The next day
After visiting Marielle's guild again, Shiroe lead the group back to Naruto's school. Marielle and Henrietta decided to take a look for themselves along with Serara who was curious about the school. Then there was the fact that she still wanted to follow around Nyanta as she still admired his strength.
"So tell me again, why is he building a school?" Henrietta asked.
"Something about proper history being taught right or something. Man why do I have to go back to school?" Naotsugu asked with a groan.
"Because Naruto knows your a perverted idiot." Akatsuki said.
"Like you're one to talk. You fit right in shrimp." Naotsugu said.
"Yeah because I'm a college student." Akatsuki said while getting odd looks.
"Are you some kind of child genius Akatsuki?" Marielle asked as she didn't entirely believe it.
Akatsuki sighed, "I'm not a child." she said.
"No your a big girl! A big girl who looks beautiful in all my lovely dresses!" Henrietta said cooing her.
Akatsuki just looked annoyed as these people refused to accept the fact that she was a grown adult with the physicality of a child starting middle school. However her negative thoughts were broken by the sounds of sword clashing. From looking at the sky, she could see flames and golden portals shooting weapons.
"What the heck is going on?" Naotsugu asked as he looked over there.
"Knowing Naruto, he probably found another servant or two." Shiroe said with a sweatdrop.
"I the Emperor of Roses will show leniency King of Heroes. I will only punish you with 20 years of prison should you surrender yourself." said a high female voice.
"So the Emperor of Rome thinks she can punish me? Hahaha, your presence and attitude is punishable by death in my eyes." said an arrogant male voice.
The conversation was drowned out as more explosions and sounds of fighting.
"Should we do something?" Henrietta asked as she turned to Shiroe.
"Sometimes you have to let other people solve their own problems.
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING!?" yelled a voice clearly belonging to Naruto.
"There he is." Akatsuki, Shiroe and Naotsugu said at the same time.
"And who dares interrupt my fight I... AHH!" the arrogant voice yelled.
"Praetor, tell this foolish king to stand down and..."
"Double Shinigami Chop Times 100!" Naruto yelled as two large hands suddenly appeared and smited the ground.
The group eventually arrived to see a girl in a red dress on the ground with her head stuck in the ground. Beside her was some guy in golden armor with a giant bump on his head. Then there was Naruto who was wearing some kind of suit and tie that was a hybrid of a black hooded outfit. So he now just looked like the shinigami on a business trip.
"For that, the both of you are taking remedial classes." Naruto said as he grabbed the both of them and shrunk them down like he did to Achilles.
"I don't this umu!" the girl said.
"This is not a size fit for a king." the boy whined.
"Well you two should have thought about that before causing trouble." Naruto said as he lifted them up by their collars. "Oh good, you guys are here. Come in, I'll start the tour after I hand these two to the disciplinary committee." he said while going in.
"Ugh, I'm having flashbacks to school again." Naotsugu whined.
"Oh don't be that way Naotsugu. Think of everything the school has to offer. Like new friends, festivals, dances and a bunch of other fun stuff." Marielle said as she hanged around Naotsugu's neck.
"I don't think that's what this school is for Marielle." Henrietta said.
Naruto soon came back, "Ok now where do we begin?" he asked.
"Teacher." Serara said as she raised her hand.
"I'm the principal, Serara-chan." Naruto replied.
"Will there be festivities like Marielle said?" Serara asked shyly.
"Oh I see, you're working up the courage to ask someone out aren't you Serara?" Nyanta asked which made the girl turn red.
"Oh kami, that would be a nightmare. Especially if someone like Stheno tries to run for prom queen. By the way, we're using mostly western culture for this school. So watch out for that." Naruto said as he gestured for them to follow him.
Inside
"Meow." Nyanta said.
"Yes Nyanta-san?" Naruto asked.
"It's been awhile since I've been in school. So would you kindly explain the curriculum?" Nyanta asked.
"Good question, mostly for Naotsugu's sake since I can tell he will be slacking off." Naruto said as the man grumbled. "While we're mostly a history school. It's also a bit of a magus school and I think I might be able to pass on skills that a normal servant would have onto an Adventurer to better survive this new world." he answered.
"Like your concealment?" Akatsuki asked.
"Perfect example Akatsuki-chan! Speaking of which, there will also be a lot of hands on learning. So don't think you'll get out of fighting an actual servant." Naruto said as that caught some interest.
As the tour continued, they came across a hallway with glass walls and looked down to find a small training room. Down there they saw Achilles and Quetzalcoatl sparring and giving it their all as a machine scored their fight. For a brief moment, both stopped and waved their hands at Naruto and the guests.
"So how many servants have you come across aside from the ones we met earlier?" Shiroe asked.
"Counting Gilgamesh and Nero, that makes five. I'm actually on planning on sending a signal to many of the other heroes seeing as I established a relationship with some of them. Many good, many neutral and a lot more enemies." Naruto answered.
"Hey wait, we're in a city so shouldn't the guards be here to stop those two from fighting?" Marielle asked.
"Technically they're not actual players and the school is registered as some sort of training or tutorial level. So it will assume this place to be some area to start farming your EXP." Naruto answered.
The tour continued passed the hallway and into one of the many classrooms.
"Here will be one of the many lectures and presentations. Don't worry, I'm not going to make you stand in front of the class and talk. Unless you annoy me that is." Naruto answered.
"So more of an excuse for Naotsugu to slack off." Akatsuki said.
"Hey I study! A little bit." he admitted.
Naruto chuckled, "Well this is most of it, maybe you can bring the entire guild here tonight. I am planning a celebration after all." he said.
"That sounds amazing! We should have a party!" Marielle said in agreement.
"But we just had one for Serara." Henrietta said.
"Yeah, but this one is for Naruto and his friends from the ancient times." Marielle said.
Naruto chuckled again, "Well I hope you all are ready for change. Hopefully you're excited for the new horizons." he said.
That's when Shiroe smirked as he adjusted his glasses again, "Of course." he said as he had plans of his own to share.
