Hey guys, before you mark me for spam or whatever. Here's the new version of my anthology story. Mainly one and two shots and I'll add a poll to see if you guys want any of them to become full stories in the future. Anyways, I got rid of the last one since there was some issues and now I can publish the one shots as an anthology so I can get more attention for them.

In a world blazing with fire and destruction. The Demon Lord Ultimaeus realized that death was nothing to fear. Not because he wasn't concerned with the power of his foe or the sudden consideration that a fight is good regardless of victory or defeat. He didn't fear death as it would have just saved him and with any luck, taken him to a paradise or potentially be reborn anew. For his opponent was much more powerful and unforgiving.

The toad like creature was close to death and already close to losing his limbs. With only one final life, Ultimaeus was dragging himself on the ground in an attempt to escape his foe.

The Demon Lord gulped as he heard the creature growl at him. This was no wild animal, this was some sort of monster.

'What is this thing!? None of my Define Domain's work! Almost as if it could transcend the dark gods themselves!' Ultimaeus thought fearfully before being stabbed in the gut and lifted up.

"Grrr!" the creature growled.

"Go ahead! It won't bring back your lover! You think death matter to me! Ha! I've already won and this just gives me satisfaction you...!" the demon lord's rant ended once his opponent shoved his arm into his gut. Only he didn't kill him, "What are you doing!? What is that!?" he asked as the foe pulled out a chain from his chest. "Stop it! I don't know what that is but stop it!" he continued to demand.

"Grrr." the creature observed the chain before painfully ripping it out.

Ultimaeus let out a pain filled shriek as his flesh was ripped apart and melted before being transformed into some hideous monstrous creature with a unique mask in the form of a skull. Ultimaeus was filled with the utmost pain and wanted to strike at the one torturing him. Only to find his mask shattered and being stabbed once more in the gut. Only this time, his opponent wasn't the one responsible for the stabbing.

Ultimaeus looked behind himself and was filled with dread. A giant gate in the sky appeared with a giant arm holding a tanto had come out and impaled his gut. Before he knew it, the arm was pulling itself back and dragging him into the deepest parts of the underworld.

"NO! STOP! I'LL TAKE IT BACK! I'M SORRY! PLEASE STOP THIS! ANYTHING BUT THERE! KILL ME OR DO WHATEVER YOU WANT BUT I DON'T WANT TO GO IN THERE!" Ultimaeus screamed and pleaded before the doors sealed themselves shut once he was inside.

The beast that the demon lord fought then let out a wild shriek, "GRAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The shriek it let out was loud enough to deafen the ears of normal individuals, enough to shatter the earth and even force the wildlife many nearby ecosystems to run. Making even the apex predators feel like bait for a beast far superior to them. Though this was not a shriek to promote fear, but a tear filled cry of one's anguish. The beast continued to cry and curse the world by flaring its power for all to fear.

Only to stop upon feeling a presence close by.

"Goddess." it sneered.

From out of the forestry came out a woman with long red hair, an elegant dress and heels. Yet she looked ravaged, as her dress was damaged, her eyes bloodshot and her beautiful face covered in small markings likely from a beating or nearby accident. From the looks of things, she looked depressed and disappointed.

"I'm sorry." was all she said.

Only to be lifted up by the throat and slammed against a tree, "TIANA!" it shrieked. "GIVE BACK TIANA, GODDESS!" it demanded.

The woman winced, "I'm sorry, but I can't." she said.

The beast sneered as it tossed her aside and drew it's sword. It did not relent on releasing the flood of killing intent as it aimed it's weapon at the woman. Who looked defeated and accepting whatever fate had come for her.

"My apologies could never fix my mistakes. So please... do as you wish!" the woman yelled with tears in her eyes. She sat up and clutched her heart, "Do whatever you wish if it can sate your anger!" she cries out.

The beast growled as it slashed it's sword at her. Only to completely miss. Cutting nothing but the red hair and shortening it down to her neck. Surprising the woman as it showed mercy. Only for the beast to collapse.

The woman snapped out of her surprise trance and crawled towards the downed creature. Watching as tears fell down it's cheeks. Doing nothing but looking away and reaching for something in the distance. The woman immediately recognized what it was reaching for and ran to it despite her injuries. Picking up a small purple bow meant for a girl's hair. Once she had that, she ran back towards the creature only to stop in place.

The creatures was already deceased and slowly withered away into smoke.

The woman fell to her knees and clutched the bow close to her heart, "Tiana... I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! This is my fault! I was the real monster!" she said to herself. She looked at the spot where the beast once was and noticed his sword was in the same place and picked it up, "In the name of Ariadoa, Goddess of the Seal. I will repent for my sin." Ariadoa said to herself before disappearing in a bright flash of light.

Many years later, in another land

A child of great origin born from a leaf and a strong wave. The sapling that would grow from the great tree and watered by the great ocean. A child of hate, one that died and reborn from great hate. For what was believed to be subjugated by spreading their hate would only destroy themselves. The child is alive.

Humans should learn from the elements. Water is cool and soothing. Earth is steady and stable.

But fire, fire is alive. It breathes and it grows. Without control, a rock cannot throw itself but fire will spread and destroy everything in its path. If no one has the will to control it. Thus is the hatred that builds up.

With Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto lied down on the ground looking up at the sky. He was lying down from all the training he was doing by himself. Reason? Jiraiya allegedly had more important things to do.

Yes Jiraiya, the Toad Sage, a member of the Legendary sannin, and former student of the late Sandaime Hokage is an important figure to the village of Konohagakure no Sato and. while he is a capable shinobi. He does have duties like maintaining a spy network and potential counter intelligence to keep his home safe and up to date on the latest news. Yet he was a super pervert. One that put his vices first.

Which would explain why Naruto had to learn most of the Rasengan on his own. Only being taught what the steps are and how to rotate the chakra for the technique. Though this just proved Naruto needed actual guidance and real motivation when he was a slacker in the academy. In the end, it took just about a month while Jiraiya learned the technique in three.

Yet the man was mostly focused on Naruto learning to control his bijuu's chakra when it had more harmful side effects. Not only that, Jiraiya had no knowledge or notes on how a jinchuriki could control their bijuu chakra. He just assumed anyone could do it seeing as Kumo had jinchuriki who could pull off full transformations. Jiraiya was too sure that Naruto would be practically invincible due to the nature of the bijuu's power.

However even though Naruto didn't know it himself, it actually wasn't.

If the Kyuubi could be defeated via sealing, the Mokuton and Sharingan. Then it was safe to say that it would be useless against the Akatsuki since Itachi could trap Naruto in genjutsu and Kisame would just siphon the chakra before Naruto has the chance to fight back.

"Really ero-sennin? I'm starting to think the Yondaime just figured things out on his own and you just told him what he did was right or wrong." Naruto comments on Jiraiya's laziness. Naruto sighed as he kept looking up, "How can I be Hokage, let alone save Sasuke, when I can't get stronger on my own?" he asked.

Naruto really expected this journey with a sannin to teach him many things and maybe even mature in a way. Yet all he's done is get better physical conditioning, learned the Toad Kata from his summons and learn about his affinity for wind. So just maybe, Naruto is mid to high chunin overall.

"Augh! I even had to go through all that filler no one is going to remember." Naruto added as no one enjoyed filler. "I wish I had a better way to get stronger." he says to himself.

When suddenly he was surrounded in a ball of energy and transported away from the field where he was training.

The Divine

A beautiful blonde woman stood in the middle of a sealing chamber. One where there magic circle appeared before her and radiated a heavy dosage of energy. Before suddenly revealing Naruto inside of a barrier made of energy that was surrounded by a heavy dosage of lightning.

"Ok that... really hurt." Naruto said as he landed in a painful position.

"Hey are you like, ok?" the woman asked.

Naruto took a moment to sit up and adjust himself, "You would think no, but somehow I've been hit worse." he answered. Naruto briefly looked around in confusion before turning to the lady, "By the way, where the heck am I?" he asked.

The woman quickly adjusted herself before closing her eyes, "Greetings I am the Goddess known as Ristarte. I know this may seem shocking but it is an urgent necessity that I summoned you from the human world into our dimension. Hearken into my words carefully, Naruto Uzumaki, for you are the hero chosen to save the world of Gaeabrande from the Demon Lord." she says as she slowly opens one eye.

Ristarte briefly glimpses at the awestruck look on Naruto's face. Internally chuckling as she thought that she enchanted the genin with her appearance and elegant words. Though deep down the blonde goddess wished he was a more handsome looking individual.

'He's so enchanted by me that he can't even speak. But I mean, who could blame him? I am a goddess after all.' Ristarte thought arrogantly. 'And not to be vain, but I know I've got it goin' on.' she thought as she referred to her voluptuous body.

Then Naruto finally spoke, "What the hell? If you're a goddess... did I die?" he asked.

Ristarted blinked rapidly when she heard that, "No, I mean I am a goddess but..."

"Does this mean I did something so bad that I have to go to another world?" Naruto asked as he started to panic.

"Actually no, it's..."

"If I don't do it am I gonna go to hell!?" Naruto continued to ask now sounding irrational.

"No! You're not going to hell! I just picked you because..." Ristarte was interrupted by Naruto clawing at the walls.

"Let me out of this insane place!" Naruto yelled as he kept scratching at the wall.

"Stop scratching the wall! And if you really wanted to leave, why don't you use the door!?" Ristarte asked.

Eventually Naruto calmed down after a few minutes of him having a crisis. Along with listening to Ristarte's explanation of how the system works. Ristarte is the Goddess of Healing and apparently there are other gods and they created many worlds. Expecting humans to thrive on their own but apparently despite the immense power many of them have. They have laws set about the human worlds as already mentioned, they expect the humans to live on their own.

While it sounds shitty to leave people to solve things on their own despite helping them from time to time. It could be considered equally shitty to expect a god to do everything for you. That's why parents kick their children out once they reach a certain age when they refuse to gain independent skills including a job.

No one wants a 40 year old living in their basement.

That aside, it was time for Ristarte to have Naruto start his journey.

"Ok, let's go!" Ristarte said once she opened up the portal.

"Wait hold on!" Naruto called out.

Ristarte stopped midstep, "Uh yeah?" she asked.

"Shouldn't I prepare or something? I mean I never fought a demon lord. The strongest thing I fought was... probably Gaara but I just had boss toad hold him down." Naruto answered.

Ristarte smiled and waved it off, "You'll get stronger as you level up. Come on, I'll explain some more on the way." she said.

Gaeabrande

"Welcome to the very world recommended by Ishtar herself!" Rista said excitedly.

"Please tell me that's not the name of a Tsundere goddess." Naruto pleaded.

Rista giggled, "You're thinking of someone else." she said as they made their way to the nearby village.

At the town

Naruto felt rather nervous around the town as the culture seemed so different, "This place is so weird." he said.

"That's culture shock for you. This place isn't like the Asian style world you're from." Rista responded.

"What the heck is an Asian?" Naruto asked.

"Don't worry about that." Rista said as they kept exploring.

"So won't anyone notice that we stick out? With you flexing in that uh..." Naruto didn't know how to word Rista's revealing outfit.

"Sure this is what you see, but to everyone else. I'm wearing normal clothes." she said before moving closer. Then giving him a devious smile, "Why? You don't anyone claiming me?" she asked.

Naruto turned red and glared at her, "No way! I like Sakura-chan!" he said.

Rista giggled, "And what's so great about Sakura-chan?" she teased.

"Well I'll tell you!" Naruto said sounding determined.

A half hour later

Rista could not handle what she heard. At some point it sounded like Naruto deserved it for being the idiot of the group. Yet Naruto was way passed the tactless idiot and far into the role of, abused victim.

"Yeesh! You're either gay or really stupid." Rista said.

"That's rude! Sakura-chan is the best!" Naruto argued.

Rista wanted to assume Naruto was gay, but clearly with what was going on in his head. She was very sure he had a health problem in his head. She was the Goddess of Healing, not the Goddess of Mental Health. So she hoped maybe someone back home could help her figure out how to fix the hero she summoned. Putting her thoughts aside, Rista found a little girl tugging on her skirt.

"Oh hi there!" Rista greeted.

"Hi miss! Are you a goddess? You look super pretty!" said the girl.

Rista adored the child's compliment, "Why thank you. Aren't you adorable." she said.

The girl then approached Naruto, "Wow, you dress funny mister! I bet you're not from around here!" she said excitedly.

Naruto chuckled as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head, "No, I'm from a super far place." he said. "Anyways, I'm Naruto and who are you?" he asked.

The girl smiled as she answered, "I'm Nina." she answered happily.

"Well Nina, I'm Rista. Do you know if you have a blacksmith in this town?" Rista asked.

Nina nodded, "There's one over there." she said pointing towards a nearby building.

"Thank you." Rista said before handing a bag of money to her assigned hero.

"Uh, I have money ya know." Naruto told her.

"I know, but they probably don't accept your currency." Rista replied.

The concept of foreign currency alluded Naruto as he's been around the Elemental Nations despite Jiraiya's frequent stops. So it was weird to think that money wouldn't accepted for being in a different land. At least now he doesn't have to worry about Rista stealing his money. The last thing he needed was a useless goddess that spend her money on alcohol.

Meanwhile with Aqua

"ACHOO! Is someone talking about me?" asked a blue haired goddess.

"Now's not a good time you useless goddess!" yelled a very annoyed Kazuma.

Aqua shrugged as they were currently running from a stampede that Aqua may or may not have caused. Regardless, she really wished she could sit down and have a drink.

Back with Ristarte

Naruto accepted the money and went towards the blacksmith where Nina pointed. Upon arrival, they were met with a muscular man wearing a helmet.

"Welcome, how may I help you?" the man asked.

Naruto looked back at Rista, "What exactly do I need?" he asked.

"Some armor and weapons wouldn't be so bad." Rista suggested as Naruto went over the various inventory.

"Hey, do you have any magic squirrels here?" Naruto asked from inside.

The shop owner tilted his head in confusion, "Do you mean magic scrolls? I have one or two." he answered.

"Yeah one of those!" Naruto said before continuing his browsing.

Rista nervously giggled as the shop owner went to look for magic scrolls.

Outfit 1

Naruto appeared in a black outfit with a single shoulder spaulder and a giant sword over his shoulder.

"Someone's handsome." Rista complemented.

"It's cool." Naruto admitted. "But there's hardly any armor and this thing is way too heavy." she said much to Rista's disappointment.

Outfit 2

Naruto appeared in a red trench coat with an exposed chest and black pants with dual pistols.

"How do I use these?" Naruto asked referring to the guns.

"I think we need something with actual protection." Rista said with a sweat drop.

Suddenly the store owner appeared with a box of rubbers. Making the human and goddess turn bright red.

"NOT THAT KIND OF PROTECTION!" they both screamed.

Outfit 3

Naruto appeared in green cape with medium armor and a small shield on hand.

"Why does this feel weird?" Naruto asked.

"It's good but... I think you're the wrong type of hero." Rista answered.

Outfit 4

Naruto appeared in a green futuristic military style armor with a orange visored helmet and assault rifle.

"Are we fighting demons or space aliens?" Naruto asked.

"What kind of store is this?" Rista asked.

Outfit 5

Naruto appeared in some old rusty armor with broken horns, but carried a sword and shield rather than a firearm this time.

"So we're fighting some goblins first right?" Naruto asked.

"Maybe, but they aren't a priority." Rista answered.

Outfit 6

Naruto appeared in the final outfit. Just some minor black under armor with medium armor covering his chest, arms and legs with brown boots. Along with a simple short sword and shield.

"I can't think of a funny gimmick. But I know there's one." Naruto said.

"Whatever, this one is good enough!" Rista said before they paid for the armor and weapons.

A little while later

After a small explanation as to how getting stronger works and Rista learning about Naruto's primitive world not having video games yet. Naruto found himself having to learn how to kill monsters. The little girl, Nina who did a funny dance, explained that there are hardly any monsters in the outskirts of town. Nina also claimed, while still doing her adorable dance, that the only thing remotely being concerned for is a bunch of slimes.

Probably the weakest thing in existence according to Rista.

Though Naruto did question if it was worth their time to fight slimes anyways. For some reason the little sensibility he has activated. Making him wonder why fight slimes at all. Which got into a long pointless debate that made no sense about hunting wildlife. At this point Rista was sure something was wrong with Naruto as he used ramen as an excuse for veganism when his ramen still had some meat whenever he ordered it.

This ended with Naruto reluctantly killing a slime with a kunai from his pouch.

"There, I did it." Naruto said as the slime broke down and melted.

"See? Nothing bad." Rista said.

Naruto realized that maybe Rista was right about killing monsters. Even if they seem almost harmless (very weak) creatures, they still need to be killed. At least Naruto saw his levels slowly going up.

"So this makes me stronger somehow?" Naruto asked as he brought up his Status Bar.

"Yeah but it helps more if you learn skills." Rista said.

"Oh! So leveling up is like physical training while skills are like learning jutsus right?" Naruto asked making the goddess smile.

"That's right!" Rista answered with the clap of her hands.

Naruto took a deep breath and pulled out his sword, "Ok, let's see if this works. Maybe I can round them up with Shadow Clones." he said as he duplicated himself

Rista looked on with awe, "You can make this many copies of yourself?" she asked excitedly.

"Yeah, isn't that why you summoned me?" Naruto asked now feeling confused. "I assumed you picked me based on my abilities. You were messing with me weren't you?" he asked accusingly.

Rista immediately looked offended by the accusation. Just as she was about to retort. She actually had no idea about his powers or abilities. Since most worlds usually have their heroes originate from Japan on Earth Prime. Except Naruto was from a different world and she didn't know until the last second! As if Ishtar herself had secretly put Naruto's page in there.

This left Rista poking her fingers together and looking nervous, "Well to be honest, it doesn't give me a whole lot of details." she said.

Naruto's eye twitched, "Ok, what did it say?" he asked hoping he wasn't summoned for stupid reasons.

Rista hesitantly summoned the paper and looked at the statistics. Naruto slowly took it away to read and see if he could comprehend it.

Naruto had to admit, the numbers were confusing. And what's with the levels? Is one level by how many classes in school he has to take? Everyone complains about him being a loudmouth that's annoying. Is this meant to mock him for how annoying he seems?

All these questions popped into Naruto's head until he read the last part.

Naruto sighed, "I'm guessing there were many other options." he said sounding annoyed as most of these traits offended him.

Rista gave him a shy look, "Well you and someone that's impossibly cautious." Naruto didn't even need to respond to that. "And an emo." she added.

"Well all is forgiven. You can't go worse than an emo." Naruto said as he gently grabbed Rista's hand and lead her away while the clones went to work.

As the clones dispersed to seek out the various slimes and anything else with somewhat greater strength. In the meanwhile, Rista couldn't help but to blush at how close she was to her hero. Though she wasn't in her weird lustful mind or giving into anything like that. As the gods were not allowed to enter romantic relationships with their heroes.

A while later

Apparently there were many things learned about the clones. First of all, their experience is returned to Naruto and for some reason he couldn't see that. Second, they can give him XP but at a slower rate for some reason. Thirdly, they apparently woke something up that was big, scary and very angry. So Rista immediately noticed Naruto had started to tense.

"Is something wrong?" Rista asked.

Naruto nodded, "I think my clones found a big goblin or something." he said as they both felt massive stomping heading towards them.

"Goblin? I am no goblin, you pest. Nor will I be slain like one." said the large creature as it towered over the two of them. "You may have taken out the secret battalion of slimes the Demon Lord gave me, but now you will die!" the creature threatened as he pointed his club at Naruto.

Rista started to hide behind Naruto who contemplating whether or not he should have gotten the outfit with the guns or giant sword.

"For you face the wrath of an ogre!" the creature yelled.

"Holy crap, these goblins are bigger than I imagined!" Naruto yelled sounding awestruck.

"Heh!?" Rista asked confused by what Naruto called the ogre. "Seriously? I know he's got that bad goblin stink, but he's an ogre." she said trying to correct him.

"Rista you don't need to vouch for him." Naruto replied denying that he was fighting an ogre.

"I'm an ogre! Not a goblin! You insolent cur! I will kill you!" the ogre said angrily.

Naruto then adopted a thinking pose, "I never thought I would see a talking goblin before. Then again, I've never seen a goblin before." he said making Rista face fault.

Afterwards, the goddess adjusted herself and stepped before the ogre in an attempt to appease it. Because it looked like her hero was going to be reckless and openly insult the ogre. Hopefully giving her a chance to plan out a strategy to fight this thing. Since it was clearly affiliated with the Demon Lord despite the strange plan of having an army of slimes that Naruto wiped out without thinking much about it.

"I believe you're not a goblin, Mr. Orge." Rista said thinking she appeased him.

Only for the ogre to get angry, "WHAAAT!? I don't need your pity! You're at the top of my shit list, Goddess!" he said conjuring fire in his palm.

That offended Rista, "Ooooh, okay! No! I was being nice, you stupid goblin!" she yelled as the fire got more intense. "Naruto, kick his ass!" she commanded.

"Taste my fireball!" the ogre yelled.

Naruto raised up his sword and tried cutting the fire. Only to end up cooking himself but somehow losing very little HP. It was a good thing the reckless shinobi was also very durable.

"A goblin casting fireball? I expected something stronger to use magic. Like, you know? An ogre." Naruto said infuriating the ogre.

"I am an ogre you wretch!" the ogre yelled angrily.

"LIES! Goblins always tell lies to trick their enemies!" Naruto argued.

Rista couldn't really understand Naruto's logic at this point, 'At least he's durable.' she thought just as the clone army surrounded the ogre.

A good thing too because the ogre was very annoyed to the point he swatted Naruto away like a fly. Making the boy smash his head into a rock. Seeing Naruto would have a hard time recovering from that. Rista ran towards the downed hero as the ogre was preoccupied by the clone army. All of whom were as dense as their progenitor and kept calling the ogre a goblin. Further distracting and annoying the massive monster.

"Ok, it's fine! Everything is fine! Naruto is more durable than a Nokia." Rista said as she tried calming herself down. Using her scan ability she noticed only half of his health was gone, "Ok I can fix this. Hopefully that brain isn't more damaged than it already is." she said referring to Naruto's stupidity.

Meanwhile Naruto groaned loudly, "Goblin... tough..." he muttered as his eyes were opening and closing.

"Not a goblin, but don't worry. Your little army is still fighting him." Rista said reassuring him.

"When will it go through your heads, that I. Am. An. Ogre!" the ogre shouted as he swatted away more clones.

Naruto let his head fall back as Rista healed him. Though for a brief moment she lifted up his head as to remove any chance of a concussion. Only to briefly feel something off with his head and it wasn't related to Naruto's injury from crashing into the rock.

"What the heck? Did you have a literal head condition before I summoned you?" Rista asked as she went over the injury.

As Rista healed him, Naruto fought to stay conscious. Briefly looking at Rista's face and studying every detail of it.

Suddenly finding an image of a younger much nicer version of Sakura. Who he tried helping once. He could even remember that cute red bow she used to wear on her head that Ino gave her. Only for it to be changed by her more realistic toxic attitude. Along with losing all his good memories of his friendship of Sasuke since his early days in Team 7.

Oh wait, those memories were not existent. You can't lose what you can't have.

Yet he almost feels closer to Rista. Maybe it's because she had great concern for hm. It could be the fact that he's practically her co-worker or something. Yet, when Naruto sees Rista's smile attempting to reassure him. Naruto suddenly saw the face of a similar looking woman with brown hair and a purple bow on her head. Naruto actually felt warm, happy even for reasons he couldn't understand.

Yet somehow, Rista's strange appearance gave him strength.

'Ok, I guess Naruto really was hit on the head. Though hopefully this makes him more smart.' Rista thought as she gave his head a full scan. Only now noticing that she may have moved something, "What the hell is that?" she asked.

Suddenly Naruto sat up, "I got this! Time to get back to the fight!" he said before running back to the ogre.

Only now the ogre was out of clones to kill, "Don't you see? It's futile and now... OW MY EYE!" he yells as he clutches his eyes which now had a sword embedded into it.

"I got you now you goblin and... crap that was my only sword!" Naruto said realizing he could have just thrown a shuriken instead.

"Why you!" the ogre yells as he tosses the sword away. Having had enough of the annoying reckless hero, the ogre charged up another fireball, "Taste my fireball!" he yells.

Naruto suddenly pulled out one of his scrolls, "Gate!" he yells out.

When suddenly, a giant wave of water appeared and cancelled out the fire. Though he didn't realize that the water pressure was too strong. To the point that the wave somehow cleaved the ogre in half along with half of his arms. Naruto would have to concern himself with that after he survived the giant tidal wave he caused.

"Rista run! I made a giant tidal wave!" Naruto shouted as he was being taken away. Only to be surprised by Rista growing a pair of wings and pulling him out, "Ok you are seriously the most useful goddess I've met and I've never met a kami before." he said.

Rista giggled, "Here I thought you were going to call me useless." she said expecting to be called a useless goddess like Aqua.

"Rista, apparently it does take getting hit in the head hard with a rock and being saved by a pretty lady calling herself a goddess." Rista gave a weird grin upon hearing the compliment. "I have seen useless before. I mean I've did a bad thing trying to steal a kiss, but at least I don't mock orphans in front of other orphans." he said.

"Ok I think we should get back to the topic at hand." Rista said ignoring that last comment.

Once the water calmed down. Rista put Naruto down as he approached the downed ogre.

"Well, anything left to say goblin?" Naruto asked.

The ogre coughed up blood as he glared at Naruto, "Fore the last time. I am an ogre!" he yelled before being stabbed by Naruto's sword.

"A liar to the end!" Naruto sneered as he killed the ogre he which he thought was a goblin.

(Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare Song)

Naruto sighed as he sat on the ground, "Did that level me up?" he asked.

Rista smiled as she activated her scan ability, "Yup! Level 10 and though your defense is mostly what went higher. I think now is a good time for a break." she said when a look of dread filled her body.

They were abruptly interrupted by a new figure. One with a great evil presence as their aura made the around them hard to breath. This was a demonic looking woman, with hooves for legs, small horns on her head, purple skin with red eyes, a giant exposed chest with a small bikini top and a giant sword she dragged against the ground.

"You're the one right? Yes, you must be the one." the malicious looking woman said.

"Wait, who are you?" Rista asked nervously.

With the stomp of her hoove, she answered, "Pleased to meet your acquaintance fair goddess and brave hero. Welcome, I am one of Four Heavenly Kings serving the Demon Lord. I am known as Chaos Machina!" she said so proudly.

This scared Rista. "What!? No way, you can't be! We're not supposed to be facing a powerful enemy yet!" she says in denial of the dangerous presence in front of her.

Chaos Machina smiled at her fear, "You sound quite surprised. Our wise Demon Lord detected the signs of a hero summoning before it even happened." she responded. "So predictable, whenever heroes appear. They always gain strength through fighting the weakest monsters and that is where I lie in waiting." she says before destroying a giant rock.

"Ok that explains the goblin." Naruto said.

"If you are referring to the giant ogre, then you are correct. It was the first path of stopping you heroes. I can tell you have so much potential to be powerful." Chaos Machina says as she looks lustful for battle. With the lick on her lips she continued, "It's too bad. It won't do at all. No, no, no, no, no!" she says as she flares her power.

(Bleach OST - A06)

Rista couldn't stand the power that the Heavenly King released. Immediately realizing that now was the best time to run. Though it appeared that Naruto had a plan which involved throwing lots of kunai at her.

"HAHAHAHA! A few sharp tools won't be enough!" Chaos Machina said only to notice there were red tags with kanji written on them. "What is this?" she asked.

During that split second, Naruto lifted up Rista into his arms and started running, "Naruto what..."

BOOM*

"Explosive tags! I was a prankster back in my home village!" Naruto said as he kept running.

Only to notice Chaos Machina looked unfazed and started chasing after them. Seeing that the demon woman was way too fast for them. Naruto managed to move his hands close enough to form the seal for shadow clones. The clones then proceeded to run at Chaos Machina in an attempt to slow her down.

"Rista, now is a good time to head back to your dimension if you can still do that." Naruto said with urgency in his voice.

Rista nodded, "The Divine Realm, got it!" she said as she extended her palm and opened a portal.

Only for the demon woman to appear right behind them. Just as she was about to cleave them with her heavy sword. Naruto tossed Rista high into the air and dodged the attack. Before the goddess fell back down. Naruto summoned two clones to his side. Every second felt like a whole hour yet there was this sense of urgency.

It could be the adrenaline rush and fear of death. Yet Naruto somehow kept his mind composed instead of panicking or randomly throwing around his fists as he would normally. Instead, his two clones started creating two orbs of chakra. One for each palm just as Chaos Machina adjusted herself and prepared for another attack. Only to go wide eyed as Naruto and the clones slammed their attacks.

"Rasengan!" Naruto shouted with both copies of his jutsu slamming into the Heavenly King and sending her skidding away.

Giving Naruto a chance to catch Rista again. Not even being concerned with other dangers or confirming whether or not Chaos Machina recovered. Naruto jumped through the portal Rista had opened.

The Divine Realm

CRASH*

Naruto landed on his back with Rista's shorter frame holding onto him. With her face planted onto his chest. The teen looked up and witnessed the portal closing. Making him sigh in relief that he didn't need to worry about a giant boob monster.

"Oh man, I need more explosive tags." Naruto said as he was panting.

Before he realized it, Rista slowly moved her head upwards. To where their faces met. Rista blushing at how close they were now. However it ended once Naruto grabbed her by the hips and gently laid her down next to him.

"I am not going back there." Naruto said calmly.

"You have to." Rista replied.

"I don't want to." Naruto shot back.

"It's your obligation and I didn't make the rules." Rista said now looking more annoyed.

Then it was silent for about a minute.

"How the hell do I beat a boob monster?" Naruto asked.

'I almost want to say the same way you would beat Valkyrie, but nothing beats Valkyrie.' Rista thought before getting up and summoning a bed. "I think I'll let you rest. Maybe we can plan something out later." she suggested as she stretched her body.

Naruto nodded as he dragged himself onto bed, "At least it's better than the one in my apartment, but wait! Do I even have time to be lazy?" he asked.

Rista waved him off, "Well I'm no mathematician but I would say 10 minutes on Gaeabrande is about 16 hours here." she said.

"And if how would I contact you?" Naruto asked unsure if he should run around in Rista's world.

"Use this, it works like a phone... they have phones where you live right?" Rista asked.

"Like a radio?" Naruto asked.

"Exactly!" Rista said as she presented him a statue of herself.

Naruto gave a deadpanned look, "This is the nerdiest thing I've ever seen." he said.

"Just take it!" Rista said angrily as she put it down and left.

"I need sleep." Naruto said as he didn't want to touch that statue Rista gave him.

Naruto's Mindscape

Naruto opened his eyes again. He had this familiar feeling he always had. The same brief moment when he was trapped in that sewer where he would briefly meet the Kyuubi. The moments where he would lose control because of it's influence and the chakra the bijuu would give him would kick his power into overdrive. Then realizing it, Naruto remembered it on his status screen and on Rista's sheet of paper.

Even with all the training, he was still at level 1. While he should be concerned with how dangerous the Kyuubi's power is despite how powerful it makes him. Naruto found another concern greater than that of losing control.

Instead of the sewer and the cage holding back the Kyuubi. Naruto was in Konoha, but at the same time it wasn't Konoha. The world was different, the sky was white, the buildings were white with some essence of magenta and periwinkle in the background. The clouds had small black outlines that were hardly noticeable and without that small detail, he wouldn't have noticed there were clouds at all. The jinchuriki could not fathom what was going on around him.

(Bleach OST - Raw Breath of Danger)

"This world is not that of your own or that of your understanding." Naruto snapped his head to the sound of that voice.

Naruto looked up at one of the buildings and saw a middle aged man in all black with long hair and glasses staring down at him.

"Who are you? Also, where am I?" Naruto asked the man.

The man stared at him impassively, "Where do you wish to be?" he asked.

"To be real with ya, home or at least a place to escape this crazy place." Naruto answered.

The man disappeared and came from behind Naruto, "So you wish to leave your responsibility. All because you are afraid." he said. His face still lacking emotion yet spoke almost with disappointment and disapproval of Naruto, "You say you wish to be Hokage. Yet the Hokage is not only the strongest or most respected. They are the ones who face challenges head on, regardless of fear or bravery." he replied.

"You didn't answer my question you old geezer!" Naruto barked.

The man closed his eyes as he moved away, "I can guide but I cannot help. You have the answers, but you are not asking the correct questions." he replied.

"How can something be correct if it's a question?" Naruto asked as he felt a light headache coming on.

"Find yourself, then you will find your answers." the man said before disappearing into a shadow.

Naruto groaned in annoyance from getting no answers. Muttering insults about weird old men. Naruto moved on and explored the fake Konoha that he explored. For some reason, while no one was there he felt rather annoyed to the point he felt a headache. One where he really wanted to let all his stress out. Similar to how when stubbing a toe against an inanimate object, the victim feels as if they need to hit the object. Almost expecting the object to feel equal or greater pain on it's part.

In a way, some sort of retribution or vengeance is what Naruto wanted. Yet, he can't have any of it but at the same time didn't want it. As his naive personality told him such things were pointless.

"Aw come on, just get angry. Just a little bit. For a good reason this time." said a distorted voice.

"Who's there?" Naruto asked nervously as this voice sounded more threatening.

"No one but yourself. At least, the one you refuse to be." said the voice.

Naruto continued to look around every corner before passing by a window and glancing at his reflection. Only looking back at it again, he noticed he was also completely white aside from having golden eyes with black sclera and black lips. While Naruto felt nervous, his fear had a greater reason for existing. As the reflection smiled at him. Naruto fell onto his back in fear before hearing laughter and witnessing the reflection come out.

"What the hell are you?" Naruto asked as the reflection continued to grin.

"Like I said, I'm what you refuse to be and at the same time. What you used to be." the reflection said.

Naruto immediately jumped up and drew his sword at him, "I know what you are now! You're the Kyuubi! You're trying to mess with me so you can control me again!" he said accusingly.

The reflection let out a hollow laugh, "Wow you're such a hypocrite. You see something you fear and you think it's the Kyuubi. Then again, even with your mind being healed you're still stupid." he said mockingly.

(Bleach OST - Enemy Unseen)

"You're still not making any sense!" Naruto yelled angrily.

The reflection sneered, "Dumbass, I am YOU! I'm what you used to be!" he yells as Naruto steps back nervously. "Oh don't be like that. I was a nice guy. Good parents, a pretty girlfriend and life seemed nice." he said with a bright smile. Only for it to transform into a scowl, "Then that goddess screwed it up. Held me back, called me a monster, tried to keep away my love from me and now..." the reflection let out a twisted laugh.

Naruto was beyond scared at this point by what his alleged doppelganger was trying to say. As the reflection continued to laugh before grabbing Naruto's face and looking him directly in the eye.

"She tortured us! That's right! When we died, we returned to a world where people would call us a monster for something out of our control!" the reflection yelled angrily. "That goddess is the reason we're in this mess in the first place!" he continued to yell angrily.

Naruto flinched as the reflection let out all his fury in the form of his energy. Spiking his killer intent to levels that would make Orochimaru look like a playground bully for a daycare center. Yet Naruto somehow still stood strong despite wanting to run away. Not that anyone would blame him if he tried.

"You're wrong! There's no way Rista would do that!" Naruto argued.

"Rista? Who the hell is that? I'm talking about that red head with the sealing magic! Even now it's affecting our control!" the reflection continued to roar.

Naruto grunted as he fell onto one of his knees, "I don't know who you mean, but if you're this dark thing that wants out. Especially to hurt others. You really are no better than the Kyuubi!" he yelled back.

The reflection rolled his eyes, "Idiot, I won't take control now, but you will need me. When that comes, not even that goddess is stopping me." he says as he turns around and walks towards the window. Just before he did, he looked back at Naruto once more, "Naruto, what is the difference between a king and a horse?" he asked.

Naruto remained silent as he didn't have the answer.

The reflection smirked, "Instinct." he said before leaving and causing the world around Naruto to collapse.

The Divine Realm

Naruto woke up with cold sweat on his face and panting rapidly. Just as he stood up, he heard a thump. He looked down and saw a creepy looking mask that looked somewhat like a skull face. Perhaps some sort of kabuki mask or costume piece, but that didn't explain why he had it. All he could do was imagine that it either hit itself on his new clothes or Rista put it on him for some reason.

Speaking of which...

"Naruto!" Rista yells as she opens the door right away. "We need to head back now! Chaos Machina is executing villagers!" she says urgently as she reveals an orb in her palm.

Naruto looked at the orb and was immediately frightened by the sight of Chaos Machina mocking them. As well as threatening to kill Nina's dad if they don't arrive right away. Giving them only ten minutes to appear before she kills the man and moves onto someone else. He looked away as he couldn't handle it.

"Crap! We gotta go!" Naruto yelled ignoring his current strength level.

Rista also ignored this and started opening the portal. Only for Naruto to gently grab her hands and make her face him. For some reason making the situation as awkward as when Rista was on top of him a little while ago.

"I think we need to go a little farther." Naruto said.

"What? Why!?" Rista asked.

"I mean, I know I'm super durable and helps because strategies hurt my head. Except, I don't think the citizens are as tough. So that boob monster is going to kill that guy when she sees us." Naruto said.

"Oh yeah." Rista said realizing that Naruto developed some caution.

Back on Gaeabrande

Chaos Machina yawned from boredom, "I know I told the goddess ten minutes, but that's way too long. I think I'll cut it down to five." she told her hostage a she prepared to execute him.

Only to be stopped by several shuriken that impaled her back. Chaos Machina turned around and smiled gleefully as she saw Naruto with several kunai and shuriken in hand.

"Oh my! You've finally returned." Chaos Machina says as she charges right at Naruto. Completely slashing away all of his ranged weapons, "Running and gunning won't do you any good here." she said as she impaled Naruto.

"AHHH!" Rista screamed only to see Naruto transform into a wooden log.

"What is this?" Chaos Machina asked.

"Rasengan!" they heard Naruto shout as he and a clone slammed the orb into Chaos Machina's back.

The Heavenly King proceeded to spin away as she crashed through a building. Rista then stared back and forth between Naruto and the log. Wondering just how did he do that.

"I don't have a lot of jutsus, but don't underestimate my ability to summon wood." Naruto said just as Chaos Machina stumbled from under the wreckage.

"Well then, you do have more tricks. However, when playing on expert. You have to keep a secret weapon to combat your enemies!" Chaos Machina says as she transforms into a more muscular version of herself with bigger horns.

"Gross! Super boob monster!" Naruto yelled.

"How dare you!? I am the pinnacle of beauty!" she yelled angrily.

Naruto scoffed, "Maybe at the same level to be one of Sasuke-teme's fan girls. Come back when you're at the level of a goddess." he said further insulting her.

(Naruto OST - Predicament)

Rista gleefully smiled thinking Naruto was referring to her. However Chaos Machine returned to her original personality and focused back to her killing.

"Very well then, you can die keeping your opinions to yourself." Chaos Machina said as she charged at Naruto.

Striking at him with her heavy sword. Only quickly finding him being able to block her slow attacks as well as avoiding much damage. Seeing this, Rista realized a small detail. Despite the Heavenly King's superior skill level, even now that she's enhanced her body. Power isn't everything if Naruto can come up with a better strategy. Especially now that his opponent sacrificed speed and defense for power and health.

Unfortunately for them, it appears that Chaos Machina had caught onto this and smiled.

"I see, once again you have to remember that you're on expert mode. So when playing expert mode, you have to keep a little secret weapon under your secret weapon." Chaos Machina said before impaling herself with her own sword.

"Holy crap! You are emo! You really would be great for Sasuke-teme!" Naruto shouted with a shocked face.

"What in the world are you doing!?" Rista asked confused by the self mutilation.

Chaos Machina cackled at her concern, "You will see. It's the demonic curse of course! With this overwhelming power, I will bring death to the hero!" she exclaimed as her body exploded.

Her sword launched into the air as a new body came from inside of Chaos Machina. As if her outer body was a cocoon, but rather than a beautiful butterfly. It housed a hideously monstrous creature that was much powerful than before.

Using her scan ability, even Rista looked frightened, "Crap, now she's even stronger than before! Like everything is a hundred times stronger!" she exclaimed.

Greater Demon

Lv. 66

Chaos Machina laughed at Naruto who also looked nervous, "Surely you must see how far apart we are in terms of power. I can destroy you in one hit and it will all be over!" She says as she flys into the sky.

Naruto frowned as he took several steps back and ran as fast as he could before jumping high into the air. Acting as if his current strength level would be enough to withstand and possibly harm the Heavenly King. Rista yelled out for Naruto to stop in hopes of coming up with a new solution to combat the superior foe. Only to find that Chaos Machina was about a centimeter away from delivering a killing blow onto Naruto.

Naruto steadily gripped his sword. Recklessly trying to fight back despite the odds. Once again feeling as if one second was a whole hour or even an eternity despite the sense of urgency.

As time slowed down, Naruto briefly glanced down to where Rista was. When suddenly the man in black came out from behind her and stared at him.

"The things you wish to protect aren't always the thing he wants to protect." the man in black said cryptically as he disappeared into the shadows again. Only his face to reappear in Naruto's short sword, "However, regardless there will always be fighting. You only lack the proper tool to fight with." he added just a red ribbon appeared in front of Naruto.

"What the…"

"Time to die hero!" Chaos Machina yells as she punched Naruto with all her might.

Causing him to shatter like glass. Having already known how strong she is. The Heavenly King congratulated herself on the easy victory. Only to be further confused as she saw the smile on Rista's face.

'I killed her hero and she's happy?' Chaos Machina asked herself.

Only to hear a voice behind her, "You thought a single punch could beat me, how interesting."

(Bleach OST - Fade To Black B13a)

"What the!" Chaos Machina asked before being filled with several sword slashes.

"Shatter, Kyoka Suigetsu."

Chaos Machina crashed back into the ground. Confused and injured, as she stared up and the sky and saw Naruto in perfect condition. Better condition would be another way to describe him.

Yet he was different, his clothes changed to white robes with white sandals and black tabi. His sword replaced by a more elegant blade that shined brightly.

"Chaos Machina, let's not do this here. I'd rather we fight somewhere else." Naruto said gently as he didn't want to destroy the town.

Chaos Machina glared at him, "An impertinent suggestion. Only someone who can give me a challenge has the right to such a request." she says as she tries to stand up.

Only for Naruto to appear right in front of her and grab her by the face, "It wasn't a request!" He yells as the skull mask appears on his face.

From there, Rista and all the townspeople witnessed Naruto dragging Chaos Machina far into the outskirts of town and slamming her into the ground. From there Naruto stabbed his sword into Chaos Machina's chest. Causing her entire body to slowly crack from the pressure he leaked out and into the demon's body.

"Impossible! Is this sword magic!? The upper skill technique!?" Chaos Machina asked.

Naruto pulled out his sword and stepped back, "I don't know what that is, but I know it's enough to beat you!" he said just as Chaos Machina let out a pain filled cry and exploded.

Naruto collapsed from exhaustion and watched as the mask peeled itself off of his face and broke on the ground. After that, his clothes reverted back into his armor.

"Ok… I don't know what that was, but it was useful and painful." Naruto said he panted on the ground.

Then being found by Rista about a couple minutes later, "Hey you did it!" she exclaimed.

Although she was very confused by Naruto's sudden power change. Prompting her to look at his stats again with her Scan ability.

Naruto Uzumaki

Lv. 20

"Ok, I get the Heavenly King gave you a lot of XP. But that doesn't explain the sword and outfit change." Rista said as she stared at her hero's exhausted form.

A while later

Having defeated one of the Demon Lord's Heavenly Kings. Naruto was praised as a hero. It was a fun experience for the shinobi turned hero. As it reminded him a lot of the praise he got at Wave country and a few other places like Spring and Vegetable country as well. It felt really good, not because of the pride he got as Naruto earned everyone's respect, but because of just how great it felt to be appreciated.

Though he got the occasional thanks, everyone else would seem to ignore him. Naruto could stop a powerful demon from destroying the world and everyone back home could find some reason to mock him or still see him as an idiot.

So after leaving with the gift of fresh fruit and a few trinkets. Naruto and Rista left the town in great spirits. Though for some reason both kept imagining some crazy person blowing up the town for being cautious and feeling angry if they get kicked out for said reason.

"Wow you look happy." Rista said joyfully.

"Yeah well, it's not everyday you feel appreciated for your hard work. Back home, I did some stuff. Not some big stuff, but enough worth some praise but everyone else would go back to calling me an idiot." Naruto answered.

Rista's face softed as she hugged him from behind, "Hey cheer up! I'm proud of you! Even when things were against us, you still saved the town." she said.

Naruto smiled, "Thanks Rista, at least you have a good heart. Such a nice goddess." he said.

"Now then, onto the next town!" Rista said excitedly.

"That's right! We still have to be the Demon Lord and… AHHH!" Naruto fell on his face.

"What the heck happened!?" Rista asked, her voice filled with fear and concern.

"I think my new power took a lot out of me!" he answered with his voice filled with pain.

"Maybe you didn't rest enough." Rista said as she tried to pick him up.

Naruto responded by raising his hands against her, "No, I can do it! I can run a mile! Better yet, I can fly there! I learned to fly Rista!" he yells as he stands up and jumps. Only to fall on his face again, "It's hero time Rista! Hero time!" he yells.

Rista sweat dropped, "Hero Time can wait Naruto." she said as she opened the portal again.

Divine Realm, 2 days later (30 minutes in Gaeabrande)

After putting Naruto back on his bed and giving him some more essentials to live. Rista decided to visit her old friend and sister figure, Ariadoa, for tea.

"He sounds quite the handful." Aria told Rista.

"Yeah, but at least he's willing to listen. Though, I'm kind of worried about his recklessness and weird power." Rista replied.

"He is from another world aside from Earth Prime. Perhaps it's a new ability." Aria suggested.

"Maybe, but from one Naruto told me. He was called the dead last and even then. Nobody even tried teaching him better." Rista says as she looks at her cup. "Maybe Ishtar can let us briefly visit his world and find something on it." she said.

Aria gave her friend a comforting smile, "Maybe, but who knows. It's probably nothing too complicated." she said.

"I hope so, I mean he summoned a sword out of nowhere and his stats were hard to read. Then there's this mask that keeps showing up." Rista said surprising Aria.

"Mask?" Aria asked.

"Yeah, it's kind of creepy but something feels weird about it. I seriously can't explain it Aria, how does some creepy skull shaped mask keep appearing." Rista explained further adding to Aria's fear. "Hey is something wrong? I didn't scare you did I?" she asked.

As Aria was about to answer Rista's question. The door to her house opened.

"Rista, I think I'm ready to go again!"

Rista groaned, "See what I have to work with?" she asked as Naruto entered the building.

*CRACK*

Rista watched with surprise as Aria's cup fell onto the floor and shattered. The red haired goddess slowly approached Naruto who looked confused.

"Is this your sister or something?" Naruto asked as Aria reached for his face. "Lady, I know I'm good looking for a human, but there's only one goddess for me." he said.

"Don't say it like that! You make it sound like we're dating!" Rista said as her face turned pink.

Aria ignored the squabbling and shook her head, "I'm sorry, you just remind me of someone." she said. "Pardon me, I am Ariadoa, Goddess of the Seal." she said.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, genin, ninja, future Hokage and currently Hero of Gaeabrande. Hold your applause please." Naruto said with a foxy grin.

Aria gave a light chuckle hearing all that. Next thing Aria knew, Naruto started to twitch and clutch the side of his head.

"There she is! There's that damn goddess!"

"Hey something wrong?" Rista asked.

Naruto shook his head, "I think that goblin gave me a headache curse." he answered.

Rista sighed, "Naruto, for fiftieth time. That was an ogre." she said.

Only to find herself in a hug, "Shush now Rista, the goblin can't threaten you anymore. You don't have to lie on it's behalf." he said while stroking her blond hair.

Rista's face contorted into one of pleasure, "Ok… promise?" she asked.

"I promise." Naruto whispered.

Aria found herself smiling at the cute sight. Before deciding to break them up. The Goddess of the Seal started to imagine another familiar pair who were that close. Only to look saddened afterwards.

"Because I'm an orphan and could only afford ramen and stupid orange outfits. I learned how to save the little money I have. I could even turn one gold coin into a house!" Naruto claimed.

Rista's eyes widened, "Really?" she asked.

Naruto nodded, "Yeah, but I'll turn five gold coins into a mansion!" He answered.

"Wow!" Rista said excitedly.

A month later

Naruto sat on the couch of his luxurious mansion with Rista by his side, "See?" he asked.
