Not long after Natsu brought up someone he knew that could use holy magic, Mirajane contacted Sabertooth with a communication Lacrima. The person that fitted the Fire Dragon Slayer's description was none other than Sabertooth's current master; Sting Eucliffe, the White Dragon Slayer. However as soon as Mirajane told Sting they needed his help, the Lacrima device was abruptly cut off as Sting only said one thing.
"Uh, Mira? So if he coming here or not?" Lucy asked while tilting her head.
"He said he'll be right over." The bartender answered with a smile. "It won't take long."
"That's vague as shit. We don't exactly have enough time to stand around and wait for him." Perplexed Gajeel as he slammed his fist on the table. However right on cue after he said that…
"Natsu! I'm here!" Barged opened the doors as the man himself, Sting, charged on in announcing his presence. Before he could say anything else however, he slipped on some liquid that was spilled on the floor earlier. He crashed head first on the bar as the impact knocked over the glass on the shelves.
"Oy! We just finished cleaning that up!" Elfman chastised as he was about to put the broom he was using away.
Sting looked up as he noticed unimpressed looks surrounding the Sabertooth master. He gave a fake chuckle and rubbed the back of his head. "Hehehe…my bad…" He then pulled himself up and tried dusting himself off. "I just got so excited when I heard Natsu needed my help! So I sprinted all the way here!"
"You…sprinted the whole way here?" Lily said, perplexed. "Your guild is up in the mountains isn't it?! How did you get here so quickly?!"
Before Sting could answer his question, three more Sabertooth members entered the building. Those being Rogue, the Shadow Dragon Slayer alongside his partner Frosch and Sting's partner Lector. Both being Exceeds.
"We came as quickly as we could." Rogue announced as the two Exceeds flew up and waved.
"Hello Fairy Tail!" Lector greeted.
Sting approached his partner and placed his hands on his hips. "Hey guys! Didn't realized you followed me!" he chuckled.
"You bolted out of the guild immediately after being requested for assistance…" Rogue sighed. "Honestly...you shouldn't act so quickly all the time."
"Frosch thinks so too!" Frosch agreed.
Natsu was the next to approach the Sabertooth members as he grinned. "Yo! Sting, Rogue! You guys haven't changed a bit!" He raised his arm towards Sting.
"Likewise, Natsu!" Sting gripped Natsu's hand tightly as the two smirked at each other. After glancing around the room, the Sabertooth members noticed the remaining mess and injured wizards. As well as the presence of Jellal and Meredy.
"Wow, looks like something big went down here. So what's up?" Sting asked. However before Natsu could explain, he was shoved to the side by Erza.
"*I'll* explain the situation." Erza said while Natsu crossed his arms and grumbled in annoyance. She proceeded to break down the situation as well as bringing up needing Sting's power. The Sabertooth members listened carefully and as soon as Erza finished, Sting gave a thumbs up.
"You got it! So you need me to combine my magic with that guy right?" Sting accepted as he pointed at Jellal.
"You didn't even think it through? So you're alright in going to an unknown land?" Makarov was surprised at Sting's quick decision.
"Well of course!" Sting smirked. "You guys have helped out us a ton in the past, this is the least we can do to make it up to you!"
"Besides, Wendy is a fellow dragon slayer." Rogue brought up. "We can't stand by while she is in trouble."
"Wow! You're so noble Sting!" Lector praised.
"Frosch thinks so too!" Frosch agreed while looking at Rogue.
"Thanks guys, you rock." Natsu smiled.
Jellal then walked over towards Natsu and the others and gave a warm smile. "Very well then. All we need left is volunteers."
"Volunteers?" Cana questioned.
"Not counting me and Sting here, with our powers combined we should be able to bring along a small group of people." Jellal explained. "Keep in mind our information about where we're going is hardly any. So decide carefully and be prepared for anything."
"Count me in!" Natsu, without hesitation, volunteered as he smacked his fist on his palm, sparking out some flames. "I'm going to make that bastard pay for what he did to Wendy!"
"Aye sir! Don't forget Natsu's number one partner!" Happy landed on Natsu's head and smirked. The two fist bumped each other shortly after.
"Wendy is a part of our team and a close member of our family. We'll be coming with you." Erza announced while placing her hands on her hips.
"Mhm! I refuse to stand by!" Lucy nodded as Carla flew right by her.
"Wendy…wait for us…" Mumbled Carla.
"Of course, we'll bring her back no matter what." Gray pointed at himself and gave a confident smirk.
Gray was then suddenly grabbed on to by none other than Juvia. "If my Gray is going, then Juvia is coming too!" She then narrows her eyes away from the group. "Besides, Juvia won't let any female angels get a hold of him…"
"If Sting is going then I better tag along." Rogue advised. "We are the Twin Dragon Slayers after all."
"Heh, you got that right!" Sting cheered. He then looked over at Lector and Frosch. "You two should stay here. Since we don't know what this 'sky place' is like. Wait for us 'kay?"
Lector sighed, feeling pretty disappointed. "Okay okay…but, promise me you'll kick some serious butt up there like you always do!"
"You know it, partner." Sting smirked before the two high fived each other.
Jellal scanned the volunteers as he thought out loud while holding his chin. "We already have quite a large group…" he then looked over at his partner. "Meredy, you should stay here. There's no telling if anything else would happen down here."
"You got it boss!" Meredy saluted.
"H-hold on!" A red haired girl shouted across the room as she ran towards Jellal. She shoved several people out of her way. "Take me with you!" Chelia demanded.
Jellal closed his eyes and sighed. He already sensed that she no longer had magic, he knelt down so their eyes met. "I'm sorry, but this mission will be far too dangerous for someone who can no longer use magic."
"And I don't care!" Chelia blurted. "I gave up my magic in order to save my best friend! And now I lost that same friend because I just stood there!" She began to form tears in her eyes. "What kind of best friend just stands around while she's in trouble?!"
Jellal rubbed the back of his head. "I understand…but-"
"Jellal." Erza interrupted, placing a hand on his shoulder. "It's alright, she can come with us."
The Crime Sorciere leader looked at his old friend's face and saw that she was confident. Being the pushover he is, he stood up and smiled at Chelia. "Very well, but don't get separated from us."
The former God Slayer's eyes lit up as she pumped both of her fists. "Yeah! I won't let any of you down!"
"Well then…" Jellal began to announce. "I believe we've gotten enough volunteers, let's head ou-"
"Now you stop right there, gihi!" Someone else announced as they shoved guild members out of the way. Gajeel smirked as he took a bite out of some old iron. "I ain't just gonna sit here and let Salamander take the glory again." He walked over to Natsu. "Besides, that future seeing angel is *mine.*"
"Oh really? Well I hate to break it up to ya but *I'll* be the one to kick his ass!" Natsu challenged. The two dragon slayers butted heads as their eyes shot lightning at each other.
Erza proceeded to shove the two apart. "That's plenty of people! Now let's get ready to head out!"
"So damn noisy…"
Back above the clouds, the slim angel Stark was standing by a large window in the library. He watched the townsfolk of Exahelm cheer for the human girl.
"That Hahlos, doesn't he know we can't have too much noise here?!" Stark complained. "No wonder he asked me to set up those soundproofing runes in the master's room earlier…"
He pulled up a chair by a large table and sat by the window. He began to read one of the many books as the cheering outside continued.
The group who chose to embark on the rescue mission were standing just right outside of the guild building. The ones who are staying stood by the entrance to see them off.
"You brats better come home safely. I'm not going to forgive you if you don't." Makarov grunted. The Fairy Tail members smiled back at their master before Natsu gave a thumbs up, ensuring they all will return safely.
"G-Gajeel?! What do you mean you want me to stay?!" Lily exclaimed.
"It ain't like I don't want you to." Gajeel shrugged. "But face tattoo here says we can't have anymore volunteers."
"We already have too many people as is. I hope you understand." Jellal said, ignoring Gajeel's strange nickname.
"I'll let Sabertooth know what's going on." Mirajane informed Sting and Rogue while she held the communication lacrima.
"We appreciate your humbleness as always." Rogue thanked. "Assure them that we'll be alright."
The Fairy Tail bartender nodded before looking over at Chelia, however she noticed the young girl twiddling her thumbs and looking down.
"Um, can you *not* tell my guild about what's going on?" Chelia requested. Mirajane tilted her head in confusion before Chelia continued. "Lamia Scale already knows that I planned on staying here for a couple of days. Plus I don't think master Ooba would be happy that I'm going to some strange unknown land…" She felt bad, but the thought of being spun by the old lady's magic, this was the best possible option.
"If that's what you want, then I won't tell them." Mirajane smiled. In which Chelia softly smiled back.
"Well, looks like we're all mentally prepared. So how does this spell work?" Sting inquired Jellal.
"Hold on." Erza interrupted while walking towards the back of the building.
"What is it now?!" Natsu whined before Lucy lightly smacked the back of his head so he wouldn't agitate Titania. Not even ten seconds later, Erza came walking back pulling a large pallet full of cargo. The non Fairy Tail members were stunned by the amount of things she had as well as being able to pull it all with just one hand.
"Uh, Erza…We can't bring that…" Jellal hesitated.
"I know." Erza said while digging through one of the bags. She pulled out several items and began tossing them at everyone involved. "Put these on, we'll need them." She demanded before grabbing a pair herself. She puts on what appeared to be plastic wings and a hat with a fake halo. The S-class wizard had stars in her eyes with a confident smirk. However, everyone else looked at the props with severe doubt.
"Are these…supposed to be disguises?" Juvia questioned as she scanned the props.
"Where did you get these anyways?" Lucy wondered. "And why do you have so many?"
"They're extras from that play we did together years ago!" Erza answered, the stars in her eyes shining brighter. Lucy, Natsu, Happy and Gray didn't recall any angels in any of the plays they did. The four then came to a realization.
"She stole them…" They all whispered to each other so Erza couldn't hear. The group began to reluctantly put on the disguises.
"Since we're entering a land where no human had stepped foot in. We should try to blend in so this mission can be successful. Who knows what'll happen if anyone spots humans walking around." Erza explained.
"There's no way any sane person will fall for these…" Carla doubted quietly. Chelia, who was next to the Exceed, chuckled before placing the halo hat on her head.
"Alright, that's it right? Let's get going already!" Gajeel urged.
"Right." Jellal agreed as the group got around him and he began explaining to Sting the process. "My Heavenly Body Magic has the ability to coat myself with a Meteor spell, which allows me to move in the air at high speeds. However, we need you to transfer your holy magic into me. If my hypothesis is correct then we can only enter into this shut out land if we had holy energy, much like our enemy did." Jellal then looked over at the group of volunteers. "This will cost us a heavy amount of magic and we only have one chance at this, but this *should* work." He explained as Sting listened carefully and nodded his head.
"Wait…what do you mean *should* work…?" Lucy stuttered. Natsu placed an arm around her shoulder and gave her a confident thumbs up. However the celestial wizard doubted he fully understood the plan. "We're dead…"
"We shouldn't risk too much." Erza advised, she then requiped into her Celestial Armor. "I can assist in enlarging your Meteor spell with this." She gave out her hand.
"Ah! I've forgotten about that!" Jellal exclaimed before giving a soft smile to his old friend. "You always think ahead." He then grabbed Erza's hand and placed his other hand with Sting's hand. "Gather around everyone, we're heading out!"
Everyone else did just that and surrounded the three mages as they began channeling their magic. The Meteor spell slowly grew and covered the group and they felt their feet slowly leave the ground. Jellal was clearly struggling but Erza gave him a firm squeeze with a warm smile. Sting began to concentrate his holy magic as the yellow aura changed to a bright white, blinding those not inside the spell.
"Now! Release all the magic power you can!" Jellal quickly ordered in which both Erza and Sting quickly complied. Shortly after, the Meteor shot up towards the sky in a flash, leaving a harsh gust of wind which knocked several onlookers over. They watched the group quickly vanish from their eyes.
"Good luck, young ones…" Makarov wished.
Everyone held to each other tightly as they rocketed upwards. It looked like the spell already went above the clouds.
"Wow! We're already this high up?!" Chelia marveled while looking down. "We'll be there in no time!"
However, the fellow Dragon Slayer's weren't having a pleasant trip as Natsu, Gajeel and Rouge covered their mouths. Their motion sickness were kicking in full gear.
Gray rolled his eyes. "Oh come on guys! Toughen it up, we're almost there." After saying that, the ice wizard came to a horrifying realization.
Sting also has motion sickness.
The White Dragon Slayer tried to keep his composure, however he was losing focus as he began stumbling over. The Meteor began to blink from bright white back to yellow.
"Oh no…" Lucy whimpered. The aura began to spark as the colors kept blinking back in fourth. "We *are* gonna die!"
Jellal took quick notice and attempted to pour all of his power in, however it didn't seem to work. "Shit! The magic is unstable, everyone hang on! It's going to explode!" He yelled out. Everyone began to grab the nearest hand as they braced themselves.
Stark took a sip of coffee before gagging slightly. "Bitter...Not even coffee can ease me during all this noise." He took another look outside. Right on cue, he witnessed a bright light orb shoot up in the distance. The orb then blew up as it split into two rays of energy, separating from each other. The slim angel then dropped his mug as it broke on the floor, spilling coffee on the carpet.
"What the…"
