Virtue and Venom: Chapter 48
Hokage office: With Naruto, Ino, Karin and others
Naruto woke up by a hard slap to the face "Gah… what the hell" Naruto whined as he got back up; Naruto looked around and saw Ino, Karin, Kakashi, Tsunade Sasuke, Hiruzen, Minato, Kushina, Itachi and Mikoto looking at him. "What happened" Naruto asked as he looked around.
"I just told you I'm pregnant… remember" Karin said and Naruto went wide eyed; Naruto jumped up to his feet and ran over.
"How can this happen; I mean… I wore a condom and everything" Naruto said and Karin shrugged.
"Shit happens" Karin said "plus condoms are only effective like ninety-nine percent of The time"; Naruto went wide eyed at this.
"Are you serious" Naruto said and everyone nodded including Ino "you knew about that Ino".
"Everyone knows you dunce" Ino said "didn't you pay attention in sex ed while we were in the academy". Naruto scoffed at this.
"Of course I didn't; it was boring" Naruto said and Ino slapped her forehead.
"Wow Ino, for a woman who just found out her boyfriend committed adultery you are taking it pretty well" Mikoto said speaking up; everyone turned to Ino and Ino began to blush and chuckle.
"Hehe… about that… uhh" Ino stammered "I was kind of there… and kind of initiated it"; everyone was confused until Kakashi went wide eyed.
"No damn way" Kakashi said looking to Naruto "you had a threesome"; everyone looked and saw that Ino and Karin were blushing while Naruto was scratching the back of his head.
"Uhh… yeah" Naruto said "apparently two naked girls can help bypass a lot of psychological trauma"; suddenly Naruto was brought into a hug by Kakashi.
"My student, Naruto you beautiful bastard you did it" Kakashi shouted with a tear falling from his eye before he broke the hug.
"Kakashi-" Minato said but before he could say anything Kushina hopped forward.
"That's my boy" Kushina said hugging Naruto surprising everyone "see that, my baby is a real play boy; god, I'm proud of you son".
"Kushina" Minato said not believing what he was hearing "how could you as a mother condone this".
"Oh get off you high horse Minato" Kushina said "when i offered you were all like 'I can't Kushina, it's not right; Mikoto is your friend it'll be weird'; such a wimp". Mikoto went wide eyed at this.
"You offered what" Mikoto shouted and Kushina shrugged.
"Oh come on don't be a prude" Kushina said; suddenly Tsunade cleared her throat and spoke.
"Can we get back on track here; we have a serious problem" Tsunade said "not only did Naruto knock up a girl; she's also an outlaw, works for Orochimaru and not a citizen of Konoha".
Naruto looked at Tsunade sand spoke "well we can't just do nothing; can't we just… slip her into Konoha… under the radar". Tsunade sighed and looked to Karin.
"Karin, you're the one who's pregnant; what do you want to do" Tsunade said and Karin sighed.
"Well I'd rather be in Konoha that living out in the sticks with Orochimaru and Kabuto" Karin said "and along with that…"; Karin began to rub her stomach as she spoke. "My dad died when I was young and my mom died when I was eight" Karin said before looking to Naruto "I'd rather give my kid and opportunity to have both parents and have a happy life".
Naruto smiled at this and walked forward before wrapping Karin in a hug "I won't abandon my kid or Karin; I'll help out however I can" Naruto said and Karin smiled.
"And I'll be there too" Ino said walking forward "after all I'm kinda… sorta… responsible for this".
"Thanks you two" Karin said smiling at both Naruto and Ino.
"Well we are going to have to give her a home" Tsunade said and Sasuke stepped forwards.
"There are dozens of empty houses in the Uchiha district" Sasuke said "I can give her one she likes; no need to pay since no one want to live there".
"Wow Sasuke; looks like you can not be a total bastard after all" Naruto said and Sasuke flipped him off.
"And you can use our money as child support" Minato said speaking up "the inheritance Naruto got should be enough"; everyone looked at Minato like he just dropped a bomb. "What" Minato said.
"What inheritance are you talking about about" Naruto said "I grew up poor as shit"; Hiruzen then spoke up as well.
"Minato I wasn't never given a paper; nor did you sign a paper saying you had money for Naruto" Hiruzen said and Minato went wide eyed.
"What? I told Kushina to-" Minato began until he looked over to Kushina "Kushina… you did write a will and get it notarized right"; Kushina began to chuckle and scratch the back of her head.
"Ummm… well" Kushina said with a chuckle "I kind of… forgot to put it in our possessions; last i remember it was in my locker at the anbu HQ"; everyone went wide eyed. "But I put a seal on my locker; no one could get in" Kushina said.
Anbu HQ; 10 minutes later: With Naruto, Minato, Kushina and Kakashi
Kushina deactivated the seal on her old locker "ok now i just need to remember my combination" Kushina said as she began to fidget with the lock "ok lets see, my birthday…no; Minato's birthday, no… crap". Everyone sweat dropped and Kakashi made a Raikiri.
"Move" Kakashi said and Kushina moved out of the way as he cut the lock "an A-rank assassination Jutsu was just used to cut off a lock; how far I have fallen". Kushina went over and opened the locker and was hit by a foul smell.
"Oh my god" Naruto said as he gagged "what the hell is that smell"; Kushina reached in and pulled out a plastic bag with a bunch of mold inside.
"I'm guessing it's this moldy sandwich" Kushina said as she threw it into a trash can before walking back and rummaging inside her locker "ha, found it". Kushina pulled out a piece of paper with her and Minato's name on it.
"Let me see that" Naruto said as he grabbed it "We Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze hereby… blah, blah, blah"; Naruto paused and went wide eyed. "One million six hundred and fifty thousand five hundred and nineteen Ryo from mom and two million seven hundred twenty two thousand two hundred and six Ryo from dad" Naruto said and Kakashi went wide eyed "gee thanks a hell of a lot guys; I could've used this money when I was so damn poor I had to steal left over meat scraps from the butcher shop and stale bread from the bakery dumpster".
"You have it now don't you" Minato said trying to look at the bright side.
Meanwhile; at the Ryuchi caves: with Mamushi, Anko, Orochimaru and Kabuto
Mamushi and Orochimaru were both meditating on the ground while poisonous snakes slithered over them; they were both in a large cavern fulled with thousands of poisonous snakes. One small twitch or sense of fear and the snakes will attack.
Anko, Kabuto and the snake sage were all looking at Mamushi and Orochimaru from a ledge above them; Anko was looking at Mamushi and Orochimaru trying to keep their calm as the snakes passed over them.
"How long have they been down there" Anko asked the snake sage who looked at her.
"Three daysss" the snake sage said as she looked back down "unlike the toads snakesss are known to kill each other at the earliessst opportunity; there isss no loyalty among the snakesss"."We kill the weak and the undisssciplined; ssso both Orochimaru and the girl mussst be able to hide their weaknesss and fearsss" the sage said.
Mamushi was focusing on the energy around her as her eyes were closed; she felt the malice, betrayal and murderous of every snake around her. She then felt Orochimaru's energy and felt the evil in his chakra; she felt anger, greed and lust but also she felt sadness, loss and loneliness.
'I always thought he was a heartless bastard… but why is he so sad' Mamushi thought as she continued to meditate.
Orochimaru meditation was also not going as expected as he felt the energy of Mamushi's chakra; Orochimaru sensed happiness, love and joy, but along with that he felt guilt, fear and a little hint of insanity.
'Why is this girls such an enigma; her chakra is so bright but there are those small pieces of darkness' Orochimaru thought.
Mamushi and Orochimaru kept meditating as they drew in the surrounding energy; Mamushi's pale smooth skin suddenly began to transform. Both of her hands started to become white and scaley as the transformation began to go up her arms; Mamushi began to feel the stinging sensation travel up her arms and she grit her teeth as she tried to block out the pain.
As the pain got to Mamushi her concentration began to slip as she tried to continue the transformation; the snakes surrounding her all began to stir as they felt Mamushi's chakra began to fluctuate.
One of the snakes a cobra lunged at Mamushi who opened her eyes and was about to catch the snake but was beaten to it; Orochimaru grabbed the snake and threw it to the side and the rest of the snakes around them all began to lunge towards them.
Orochimaru in a flash grabbed Mamushi and jumped along the cavern walls until they reached the top where Anko, Kabuto and the snake sage was.
"What the hell; I had it" Mamushi shouted as he transformation began to recede.
"You were about to be bit you stupid girl" Orochimaru shouted back.
"I can handle myself; I don't need you to help me out" Mamushi said and Orochimaru scowled.
"Fine, next time you get attacked I'll just let it happen" Orochimaru said and Mamushi huffed in annoyance.
"Sssilence the both of you" The snake sage said stopping them both "that will be enough training for today; go back to your quartersss". Mamushi walked off with Anko following behind her.
"Lord Orochimaru are you ok" Kabuto asked and Orochimaru scoffed.
"Damn girl is getting on my nerves; she doesn't want my help or my advice and she constantly fight back against me" Orochimaru said and Kabuto chuckled.
"Well teenage daughters tend to do that with their fathers" Kabuto said; Kabuto felt a cold chill as Orochimaru gave him a dirty look.
"She is not my daughter and I am not her father" Orochimaru said as he began to walk off "the girl is nothing to me".
Kabuto did not say anything as he followed his master to their sleeping area.
1 and a half months later: With Mamushi, Anko, Orochimaru and Kabuto
Mamushi, Orochimaru, Anko and Kabuto were all standing in front of the snake sage preparing to head back to Konoha after completing their training. Mamushi wore a dark grey spandex muscle shirt that hugged her frame, the back of her shirt was cut open exposing her back from her shoulders to her tail bone; she also wore black anbu pants and had on black calve high shinobi sandals.
On Mamushi's back there was a tattoo of a snake which was partially covered by Mamushi's hair as she cut her long black hair to shoulder length; also on both of her arms there were 2 tattoos of snakes that wound around her arms going from her shoulders to her wrists.
"I have taught you all I could" the snake sage said looking at all of them "the ressst is up to you".
"I have one more request" Orochimaru said and the snake sage looked at him "I wish for you to fully reinstate Anko as a summoner"; Anko went wide eyed at this and Orochimaru continued. "In this coming battle we need every advantage we can get; so I absolve my mark" Orochimaru said and the snake sage narrowed it's eyes.
"You do realize once you lift it there will be no reversals for the rest of her life" the snake sage said and Orochimaru nodded "very well then"; the snake sage summoned out the snake summoning scroll and looked at Anko's name. Anko's name had a the kanji for seal on it written in Orochimaru's blood; there were currently only 5 names in the scroll Orochimaru, Anko, Mamushi/Habu and Kabuto.
Mamushi looked at her name and scowled as she saw Habu's name next to hers; since they were at one point one person, Mamushi inadvertently made Habu a summoner as well. 'I can't wait to erase that from the scroll' Mamushi thought in anger.
The snake sage spat venom onto the scroll and burned off the blood seal before looking back up "it isss done; now leave thisss place and fulfill your dessstiniesss" the snake sage said.
"Thank you Ms. Snake Sage; we won't let you down" Mamushi said and the snake sage chuckled.
"I know you won't child" the snake sage said; Orochimaru made a hand sign and all four of them vanished in a puff of smoke 'because if you don't I don't even want to think about what the other one will do'. 'If that Habu girl kills the rest of you she will be the next master of the snakes… Kami forbid what she'll do to us' the snake sage thought in worry.
Konoha; Hokage tower: With Naruto and the others
Naruto, Ino, Sasuke, Kakashi, Tsunade, Hiruzen, Karin and Minato were all waiting on the top of the Hokage tower as they got a message that Mamushi and the others will be back soon.
"Man I can't wait for Mamushi to get back" Naruto said in excitement "I wonder if she got any cool new Jutsu or a badass weapon"; Naruto was excited to see Mamushi since he and Sasuke have been working their butts off.
Naruto over the past month and a half has finally achieved his nine tails chakra mode with the help of Kakashi and Minato; he was hoping for Mamushi to get back so he could spar against her in order to see how much he's improved since he and Sasuke are about even in terms of power.
Naruto also got better with his taijutsu, kenjutsu and his tench knives with help from Kushina; but sadly she could not stay as she had to go back to the other world much to Naruto and her disappointment. Minato was still around because since he still had the other half of the Kyuubi that was buying him a little extra time.
Sasuke was also excited to have Mamushi back for 2 reasons; he wanted to see how much stronger she has gotten and also because he was lonely. A few days ago Sasuke had to say goodbye to Mikoto and Itachi since they could no longer stay in the world of the living; before they left he got a lot of training done and has honed his skills as best as he could.
Mikoto taught him more advanced kenjutsu and fire Jutsu along with giving him her sword to possess once again; Itachi taught him how to master his Susanoo and better control of his single enteral Mangekyo sharingan. Sasuke had 2 sharingan again due to Danzo implanting one in his missing eye socket; however it did not activate either the EMS or MS, so he now only one sharingan left to be able to use both Susanoo and Amaterasu.
"Where are they" Sasuke said "they said they'd be here"; Ino turned to Sasuke and spoke.
"Just chill out; they'll be here soon" Ino said and Sasuke nodded; a few minutes passed and then a puff of smoke erupted and when it cleared Mamushi, Anko, Orochimaru and Kabuto were all standing there.
"Hey everybody; we're back" Mamushi said to everyone's delight; Mamushi ran forward and grabbed Sasuke into a hug before giving him multiple kisses across his face leaving dozens of red lipstick marks "Sasuke, I missed you so much".
Sasuke was blushing like crazy as Naruto, Ino, Anko and Kakashi were all chuckling at the embarrassed Uchiha while Orochimaru looked on in disgust "I missed you too, not stop kissing me" Sasuke said pushing her off. "You know how I feel about doing that in public" Sasuke whispered and Mamushi giggled.
"Naruto, Ino; how are you guys" Mamushi said as she ran over and hugged them.
"We're doing great Mamushi" Ino said hugging her friend "and we got some news"; Mamushi pulled away and looked excited.
"Really what is it" Mamushi asked excited; Naruto stepped forward, placed his hands on his hips and puffed out his chest.
"I'm having a kid" Naruto said as Mamushi and Anko went wide eyed.
"Wow look at you stud" Anko said walking forward "Ino's going to pop out a mini Naruto eh…"; Kakashi walked forward and placed a hand on her shoulder while chuckling. "What's so funny" Anko asked and Kakashi began to chuckle harder.
"Just wait" Kakashi said trying to contain his laughter "this is going to be good".
"Oh my god Ino, congrats; how long have you been pregnant" Mamushi asked and Ino began to blush.
"Uh… well… it's a little complicated" Ino said making Mamushi, Anko, Orochimaru and Kabuto confused; Naruto walked over to Karin and wrapped his arm around her.
"Karin's the one who's pregnant; it's wild isn't it" Naruto said; Anko's jaw dropped, Kabuto wed wide eyed, Orochimaru was cleaning out his ears as he thought he heard it wrong and Mamushi was furious.
Mamushi flashed forward and kicked Naruto across the face making him fall down to the ground "you asshole; you cheated on Ino with this chick" she shouted; Sasuke, Kakashi and Anko all ran forward and grabbed Mamushi before she could hit Naruto again. "I'm going to beat the brakes off you" Mamushi shouted as she struggled to break free "let me go damn it".
"Mamushi calm down" Tsunade said stepping forwards "let them explain"; Mamushi calmed down and took a breath.
"Ok… fine" Mamushi said as she turned to Naruto who was being helped to his feet by Karin "explain idiots".
Naruto was rubbing his jaw and he began to speak "you see what happened was…" Naruto began.
10 minutes later
"What the hell Ino" Mamushi said to a embarrassed Ino "you say no to a foursome with me and Sasuke but say yes to this bitch; wow some friend you are".
'I could've gone my entire life without hearing that' Orochimaru thought as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
Mamushi turned away in a huff as everyone sweat dropped and Ino stepped forward "Come on Mamushi it was a one time thing" Ino said trying to make Mamushi forgive her "what can i do to make it up to you".
"I don't know… but I'll think of something" Mamushi said a little angry.
"Ok now it's my turn to be angry" Orochimaru said as he walked forward and grabbed Naruto by the collar "you impregnated one of subordinates; she's the third strongest Oto ninja I have".
"Lord Orochimaru… there's only three of us left" Kabuto said and Orochimaru nodded at this.
"Exactly, she's the bronze medal of the group" Orochimaru said and Karin kind of smiled at this "now how the hell do you expect us to win this battle without one of our specialized members; her chakra chains are invaluable".
"Ummm… I fight extra hard on her behalf" Naruto said nervously before Orochimaru punched him in the gut.
"Insolent brat" Orochimaru said before Karin spoke up.
"Lord Orochimaru, I know this seems bad, but there is nothing to worry about" Karin said "Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi have gotten a lot stronger over the past few months; also we have Ino, Sai and others coming to help us". Orochimaru raised and eyebrow at this and spoke.
"Really? Who's helping us" Orochimaru asked and Hiruzen stepped forward.
"Gaara, Temari and Tayuya" Hiruzen said and Orochimaru went wide eyed "we informed them and they are coming to Konoha for two reasons; to keep Suna out of the line of fire and give us an extra leg up against Habu since Gaara has the one tails".
"Wait…Tayuya is alive" Orochimaru asked and Tsunade nodded "well look at this, there are now four Oto shinobi remaining". "When will they be here" Orochimaru asked and Tsunade spoke.
"In two days" Tsunade said and Orochimaru nodded.
"Now then we have one last thing to do" Minato said as he turned to Naruto "Son… I think it's time"; Naruto turned to his father and nodded.
"Yeah I guess so" Naruto said as he took a deep breath "I know three months wasn't that long… but it felt like a life time for me; I wish you could stay here a little longer though".
"I'm dead Naruto; I do not belong in this world" Minato said with a sad smile "I wish to be at rest and be with Kushina again; you know it's the right thing to do son". Naruto started tearing up and nodded.
"Yeah dad; I know" Naruto said "lets do this and get it over with"; Naruto reached out his hand and Minato reached out as well. Red chakra began to leak out of Minato and into Naruto and at the same time Minato began to fall apart.
"Goodbye son, I love you; win this battle, I know you can do it" Minato said and Naruto nodded "also take care of Ino and my unborn grandchild; it's a little unorthodox but still, it's the right thing to do". Naruto chuckled at this as Minato fell apart and fell tot he ground; Minato's body crumbled into dust and the man they used as a sacrifice appeared out of the pile of ashes.
Upon completion of the transfer of the other half of the Kyuubi's soul Naruto activated his nine tails chakra cloak and entered his new form; Naruto began to glow with bright yellow chakra covering him and flickering off his like flames and a haori formed from the chakra on his back. Naruto was now in his 'Kurama mode' as both halves of Kurama's soul were reunited.
'Hey Kurama; how does it feel to be whole again' Naruto asked inside his mind.
"I feel like I can take on the world" Kurama said "but I guess helping you beat that psychotic woman will be just as good". Naruto chuckled at this and Mamushi spoke up.
"Woah so cool" Mamushi said looking on "you're like all glowy and stuff"; Naruto smiled and Mamushi Mamushi made a hand sign. "How about I show you my transformation" Mamushi said and Naruto nodded.
"Lets see it" Naruto said and Mamushi began to transform; Mamushi's skin began to grow white and scaley as it traveled up her arms and spread over her whole body. Mamushi's silver eyes became slitted and dark purple markings began to form around her eyes; lastly to everyone but Anko, Orochimaru and Kabuto's surprise Mamushi's tattoo's began to come off of her body and form into physical snakes that appeared to be coming out of her flesh.
"Holy shit" Naruto said astonished as he looked at the snakes; Mamushi had a large snake coming out of her back and 2 snakes coming out of her left arm and 2 snakes coming out of her right.
"Watch this" Mamushi said as she reached her right hand over and grabbed the snaked from her left arm; Mamushi proceeded to pull them off and both snakes wrapped around each other and straightened out like a spear. Mamushi looked to a thick concrete pillar and threw the snakes like a javelin; the snakes hit the pillar and went halfway through before devolving. "My snakes dissolve but more will grow again" Mamushi said as she looked over to the stunned crows "so what do you think".
"What the hell; that's your sage mode" Naruto said and Mamushi nodded "man all I got for my sage mode was a cloak and my eyes changed color; man I got fucking robbed". Ino looked at Naruto and spoke.
"You're physical strength and Jutsu get a serious power boost and you're complaining" Ino said and Naruto looked at her.
"I'd also like to look cool doing it" Naruto said and Ino facepalmed; Mamushi giggled and looked to Sasuke.
"What about you Sasuke; what do you have now" Mamushi asked and Sasuke walked over to an area a little but away from everyone; Sasuke closed his eyes and spoke.
"Susanoo" Sasuke said as his opened his eyes revealing his sharingan as his Susanoo began to form around him; Sasuke's complete Susanoo formed and everyone looked on. Sasuke's Susanoo was 20 feet tall with him secure in it's chest; the Susanoo had legs, arms and moved around very easily "I perfected my Susanoo; I can adjust the size but the power will remain the same". Sasuke canceled the Susanoo and went back to the ground "I also worked on my kenjutsu, my taijutsu, got a new eye and mastered the Amaterasu" he said.
"Wow… you basically have your own mecha now" Mamushi said making Sasuke sweat drop "but instead of it being a giant robot it's made of chakra". Mamushi imagined her, Naruto, Sasuke, Ino, Anko, Kakashi, Gaara and Hinata having a Susanoo in different colors striking a pose while an explosion erupted behind them "I'd totally watch an anime like that".
Orochimaru walked over to Tsunade and Hiruzen as they saw Naruto, Sasuke and Mamushi all being to converse among each other "do you think they are ready" Tsunade asked and Orochimaru spoke.
"As ready as they'll ever be" Orochimaru said before looking at Hiruzen "what's your opinion sensei"; Hiruzen puffed on his pipe before speaking.
"I've seen many face the impossible" Hiruzen said "Master Tobirama faced against the twenty S-class members of the Kinkaku force killing fifteen before being killed; Might Dai, father of Guy fought and killed five of the seven ninja swordsmen before being killed himself". "Even you two along with Jiraya faced off against Hanzo and lived" Hiruzen said to Tsunade and Orochimaru "this will be a battle which will push them to the limit; we should not hold back".
Kakashi, Anko, Karin and Kabuto all heard this and looked over to Naruto, Sasuke and Mamushi as they talked and felt dread was they expected the battle that was to come.
2 Days later; Hokage office: With Naruto, Sasuke, Mamushi, Ino, Anko, Kakashi, Gaara, Temari, Tayuya, Orochimaru, Kabuto and Sai
Naruto, Sasuke, Mamushi, Ino, Anko, Kakashi, Gaara, Temari, Tayuya, Orochimaru, Kabuto and Sai were all in the Hokage office looking at Tsunade, Hiruzen and Danzo.
"I cannot thank you enough for coming Lord Kazekage; we will need your help in this battle against the Akatsuki" Tsunade said and Gaara nodded.
"It is no trouble lady Tsunade; Naruto, Mamushi and the others came to my aid, so it is only right i come to theirs" Gaara said "by the way Naruto, Hinata wishes me to congratulate you on your child".
Naruto chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head "Aww shucks… Hinata is so nice" Naruto said and Gaara nodded.
Tayuya was looking at Orochimaru and Kabuto with a glare and both men were looking at her with smiles trying to seem non threatening.
"Hello Tayuya; you seem well" Orochimaru said trying to seem friendly.
"How's things been in Suna; probably not as good as Oto" Kabuto said.
"You dick holes left me to rot in a Konoha prison" Tayuya said glaring daggers "no rescue team, no attempt of contacting me; I was one of your top ninja's".
"Well we are happy to see you after such a long absence" Orochimaru said.
"Fuck you" Tayuya said before Temari grabbed her hand.
"Calm down honey; no need to cause a scene" Temari said softly and Tayuya scoffed.
"I fucking hate those guys" Tayuya said.
"Anyway; we are all here for a purpose" Tsunade said "our plan is two fold; take out the Akatsuki then take out Habu". "I will allow Orochimaru to take over from here" Tsunade said as Orochimaru walked up.
"Our first priority is to take out the Akatsuki as soon as possible; so here is the plan" Orochimaru said as he pulled out a map of Amegakure "Ame is the main base of the Akatsuki; from my estimates there should only be five Akatsuki left". "Pein the leader, Konan the second in command, Kisame, Zetsu and Tobi; from what I have heard the seven tails container has been spotted with them but we are not sure if she's being controlled or working on her own accord" Orochimaru said.
"So what do you have in mind" Anko asked.
"Me, Naruto, Sasuke and Mamushi will take out Pein since he's the biggest thread" Orochimaru said "the rest of you will take on the remaining Akatsuki members while we fight him" Orochimaru said and everyone nodded. "This will be the most important we will ever have to face in our lives" Orochimaru said "I doubt that we will all come back alive".
1 week later; Hokage office
Naruto and the team returned to Konoha with some… less than expected news.
"They weren't there" Orochimaru said to Tsunade, Hiruzen and Danzo making them all go wide eyed "we checked high and low but we could not find them; they seemed to have abandoned the village".
"How could this have happened" Danzo said walking forward "there should not have been a way for them to hear about the attack; everyone who knew about it is here".
"Maybe they just chickened out" Naruto said speaking up "they are low on members".
"I doubt that" Orochimaru said looking at him "they may have changed their base of operation; we have no choice but to check the other hideouts". "And when we find them we will take them out for good" Orochimaru said "I'll bring their heads back on pikes if i have to".
3 months later; Hokage office
Orochimaru and his 'team' were all in front of the Hokage once again back from another search for the Akatsuki.
"Where are their heads Orochimaru" Hiruzen said mocking his former student "did they sprout wings and fly away".
"Shut up sensei" Orochimaru said in anger "we checked all thirty hideouts and they are all abandoned". Orochimaru began to pinch the bridge of his nose before speaking "I think we should shift our focus on finding Habu instead" Orochimaru said "and that means looking at all of the abandoned Oto hideouts".
"Can we take a break first" Naruto said looking at Orochimaru "we've been out of the village for months; I need to check on Karin".
Yamanaka compound: With Karin, Inoichi and Hikaruga
Karin was rubbing her slightly bulging stomach as she sat on the couch "I'm getting fat" Karin said and Hikaruga who was in the kitchen chuckled.
"Just wait until you can't get off that couch without needing help" Hikaruga said and Karin groaned. Inoichi walked in and kissed his wife.
"Evening hon" Inoichi said before looking at Karin "hey Karin how's it going".
"I'm knocked up with my best friends boyfriend's kid" Karin said sarcastically "by the way thanks for letting me stay here; I thought you'd probably hate me". Inoichi scoffed at this.
"Hate you; I don't hate you" Inoichi said "if anything I'm disappointed in my daughter for getting you pregnant and a little envious of Naruto"; both women looked at him.
"Inoichi!" Hikaruga said and Inoichi shrugged.
"What; he fulfilled every young mans dream of hooking up with two chicks" Inoichi said "I can't fault the boy; it's a unwritten rule in the 'man code'".
"You are such a pig" Karin said and Inoichi chuckled.
"I won't be the one squealing in five months" Inoichi said before getting smacked in the back of the head by Hikaruga. Just then the door opened up and Naruto and Ino walked in "Ino, Naruto; you're back" Inoichi said and saw the looks on their faces "you didn't find them".
"Nope; they're in the wind" Naruto said as he walked to Karin and sat down "how're you doing".
"I'm fine; I'm always hungry, cold, hot, sore… being pregnant sucks" Karin said and Naruto chuckled before putting his hand on her stomach.
"Don't worry Karin; me and Ino here are going to help you through this" Naruto said and Ino nodded as she sat down next to Karin.
"Yeah and frankly I can't wait" Ino said with a smile "I'll be a step mom and if it's a girl we can dress her up in cute outfits".
"Amazing… the two of you are more excited about this kid than I am" Karin said and both Naruto and Ino laughed. "Well whatever happens I just hope that it gets dealt with quickly" Karin said.
"Don't worry Karin; we'll deal with Habu and the Akatsuki and then we can get ready" Naruto said "I mean I still have to fix up the rest of the house before you can move in".
3 more months later; Hokage office
"SON OF A BITCH" Tsunade shouted as she slammed her fist into the desk as both Hiruzen and Danzo dodged the wooden shrapnel "what do you mean you can't find Habu either; it's been three fucking months".
Orochimaru, Anko, Mamushi, Ino and Temari were all standing in front of Tsunade with looks of disappointment on their faces.
"We've been trying lady Tsunade; but her trail has seemed to have gone cold" Anko said looking at Tsunade "we checked every base Orochimaru has ever built and destroyed them and we haven't found anything".
"The only thing we did find was Kisame's skeleton in Oto" Orochimaru said "I was able to make positive identification by his cloths and his teeth; my best guess is that Habu was there and she fought with Kisame". "Along with that Samehada is gone; so that means she either took it or someone else did" Orochimaru said.
"Damn it all to hell" Tsunade said "Naruto, Sasuke, Mamushi and the others all trained to end this threat; now they are just… wait where the hell are they". Tsunade realized that Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Gaara, Kabuto, Sai and Tayuya were not there.
"Oh yeah uh… when we got back they had to go" Mamushi said "it was super important".
"What the hell are they doing" Hiruzen asked.
Uchiha compound; Karin's unfinished house: With Naruto and the others
"Hell yeah this looks great" Naruto said as he stood on a ladder in a room "one more stroke and… done"; Naruto got off the latter and looked at the roof of the room. Naruto was painting the baby room with the help of Sai, Kabuto and Tayuya "there we go people; my baby will have a room with clouds painted on the ceiling".
"They were a nice touch Naruto" Sai said as he was painting a grass field on one wall of the room "wide open spaces are good for child development".
"This room is going to look rad as fuck" Tayuya said as she was staining a crib with Kabuto "I'm telling you that this varnish will be great".
"I'm glad I got this job instead of being up there" Kabuto said looking up "having one arm isn't exactly good for much physical labor.
On the roof Sasuke, Kakashi and Gaara were all re-shingling the roof "that dumbass is lucky I'm helping out" Sasuke said as he pounded in another nail "giving him a house and now I'm helping rebuild it".
Kakashi chuckled as he began tarring a part of the roof "you've come a long way Sasuke; I'm proud of you" Sasuke huffed as he went back to hammering.
Gaara using his sand flew up to the roof carrying more supplies "I brought more nails and shingles" Gaara said as he began to work "I have never done this before; physical labor is a new concept to me".
"We did this a lot back in the day" Kakashi said before looking at Sasuke "remember the D-ranks".
"Shut.Up" Sasuke said as he continued to work 'damn it; i spent month training to defeat the Akatsuki and I'm here fixing a damn roof'. 'They better show up soon; i want payback' Sasuke thought.
2 more months later; Hokage office.
Tsunade, Hiruzen, Danzo, Orochimaru and Kakashi all stood in silence.
"It has been eleven months… almost an entire year" Tsunade said softly "and we haven't found a damn thing on either the Akatsuki or Habu".
"Is it possible they've given up" Kakashi said speaking up gaining everyone's attention "lets look at this logically; there hasn't been any attacks, no threats or warnings, not even a single sighting".
"What are you saying" Orochimaru asked.
"Maybe the Akatsuki went back under ground and maybe Habu was killed or just went into hiding herself" Kakashi said "probably to never be seen again".
"I seriously doubt that" Orochimaru said "Pein will not stop his plan for anything and Habu is dead set on killing me and Mamushi; but why is she taking so long".
"We shouldn't let our guard down" Danzo said "I'll keep my agents looking around the elemental nations for any sighting of them".
"Damn it all" Orochimaru said as he clenched his fists 'where the heal are they'.
Meanwhile at Karin's house: with Naruto, Sasuke, Mamushi, Ino, Karin, Anko, Hinata and Gaara
"Oh my god he's so tiny" Ino said as she, Mamushi, Anko and Hinata were all looking at Karin sitting on a chair; Karin was holding her and Naruto's 1 week old baby boy "what's his name".
Karin smiled as she looked down to her son "Asuma Uzumaki" Karin said "I told Naruto he can name it if it's a boy if I could name it if it was a girl".
"He named him after Asuma sensei" Ino asked and Karin nodded before she got a solemn look on her face 'Naruto…'.
"I think he looks adorable" Mamushi said as she looked at the child; Asuma has red hair and pale skin like Karin but had Naruto's hair type and eye color "look at his chubby little cheeks; i just wanna pinch them".
"I'm so glad I arrived in time to see this" Hinata said; Hinata had been sent from Suna to Konoha in order to drop off some information to Gaara and spend a few days before returning with Temari and Tayuya.
Currently Kankuro was watching over Suna and things were going well in Gaara's absence. 'I can't wait for the day I have children with Gaara' Hinata thought with a slight blush.
"I can just tell that kid is going to be a lady killer in the future" Anko said "you're gonna have to beat the girls off him with a stick eh Red".
"No, he's going to be a momma's boy; he'll never date any girls ever" Karin said and Anko rolled her eyes "do you want to hold him". Anko froze for a second and stuttered.
"Wha- no I'm good" Anko said flustered.
"Oh come on Anko it'll be fine" Mamushi said and Anko relented.
"Fine give the little stinker here" Anko said as Karin gave her the baby; Anko held Asuma awkwardly as she looked into the big blue eyes of the baby. Anko felt strange as she held the child 'oh man why this; I hate kids' she thought 'I'm not like Kakashi, I don't want kids… but'. Anko looked at Asuma who began to yawn 'why is he so damn cute'.
Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara were all keeping their distance from the girl as they fawned over Asuma.
"Congrats dumbass; you're a dad now, god help us" Sasuke said and Naruto flipped him off.
"Piss off bastard" Naruto said "I'm going to be a badass dad, just you watch; I've been taking classes you know".
Flashback; 2 months ago
"Ok teach, lets get started; I'm ready to learn" Naruto shouted from the back of the class room; the entire room looked at him and it was full of pregnant women and he was the only man.
"Ummm… young man this is a class for expecting mothers" the teacher said "this really isn't for men". Naruto huffed and crossed his arms.
"Oh so what; just because I'm a dude I can't learn how to take care of my kid" Naruto said making the women go wide eyed "I'm here to learn how to change diapers, feed my baby and be the father I never had".
The teacher and the other women smiled at this "I apologize sir; I'm sure you'll be a great father to your wife or girlfriend".
"Oh no Karin's isn't my girlfriend or wife" Naruto said making them all confused "I knocked her up in a threesome with my girlfriend"; Naruto's bluntness made the teacher make a double take.
"I'm sorry what" the teacher said.
Flashback end
"Not to brag, but" Naruto said thumbing his nose "I can change a diaper in two minutes"; Sasuke sweat dropped at this.
Gaara however was looking at Hinata as she now was holding Asuma and rocking him in her arms 'she looks so beautiful' he thought as he gained a small smile 'maybe… when this is over… we can start trying'.
Mamushi was handed the baby next and looked down on him with the biggest smile ever 'oh my god; he's so adorable' Mamushi thought; Mamushi turned to Sasuke and spoke. "Sasuke, I've decided; I want a kid now" Mamushi said; Sasuke snapped his head to her wide eyed.
"Hell no; not right now" Sasuke said in a panic "we still have Habu and the Akatsuki to worry about".
"You worry to much" Naruto said tapping his shoulder "i bet you anything they're long gone by now".
Meanwhile; in the Moutains Graveyard
In a dim cave the remaining Akatsuki member stood at the bottom of a large Gedo statue as they all heard Pein speak; Madara had told them that this is where he was before coming out of hiding since his defeat by Hashirama sensual.
Pein and Madara were looking at Konan, Fu, Habu and Zetsu "we have waited long enough; Habu has had time to recover, now we must continue with our plans" Pein said and everyone nodded. "Konan, Fu, Zetsu; you will stay here while me and Habu will go out" Pein said and they all nodded "we will leave in an hour Habu".
"Very well Lord Pein" Habu said with a smile "can i do one more thing before I go"; Pein nodded at this.
"Make it quick" Pein said and Habu began to walk away with Fu in tow.
"Hopefully you're not gone for too long mistress" Fu said and Habu nodded "I mean-".
"I know what you mean Fu" Habu said as she and Fu walked through a hall way "but I had faith in you too keep an eye here"; as they approached an entrance blocked by a boulder Habu made a hand sign and the boulder slid to the side.
Inside the smaller cave was a well lit area with a bed, drawers, a rocking chair, a shelf full of books and a baby crib; Habu walked over to the crib and looked inside "aww, did mommy wake you up" she said in a baby voice.
Inside the crib there was a 2 month old baby girl looking up at her with her arms stretched out; the baby girl had golden blonde hair, metallic blue eyes and pale skin. Habu reached down and picked up the baby and held her as she leaned her head on her mom's breasts.
"Come here Tokara" Habu said as she holder her daughter "mommy has to go and do some work; but I'll be back so fast you won't even miss me". Habu gave her daughter a little kiss in the nose and Fu spoke up.
"So the plan is still the same" Fu said and Habu nodded.
"Yep, help out the Akatsuki and gain the last two Biju; but I get to keep Naruto when it's all over" Habu said as she began to rock her baby making her giggle "my baby needs to meet her daddy at least once before I kill him". "Isn't that right honey" Habu said as she continued to play with her daughter.
Ok another chapter done; I hope you all enjoyed it. So yeah that's why this chapter took forever; the build up. Habu got pregnant with Naruto's kid, that's why they haven't been doing anything for months since Habu and Fu are their last foot soldiers; I got the idea for this by reading the comic 'Invincible'.
