Lamenta approached everyone she could find. The mermaids, the werewolves, and the maricambas too. They were all scared of the nightmares the Navarro Sisters created, but Lamenta came and told them all, "Everyone, these are your dreams. No one can take them away if you don't let them. Someone may sabotage you, but it only works if you don't get up and take it back. The Navarro Sisters took this land once and have taken it again, but together we can take it back again too. We all have dreams of our own, and right now, I imagine one dream we have in common is to take back our home! Who's with me?"
With some convincing, the others agreed to rally together. They weren't about to let two spoiled witches take away their peaceful, loving home just because they said they could. Lamenta helped everyone in Never Land all the time. Now, this was their chance to help her.
The Lost Kids were all chained in the Navarro Sisters' castle, the two sisters sitting in two new thrones covered in jewels as they crowned themselves the new rulers of Never Land.
"Finally." Silvaria said. "We may have grown older on that island, but we still got it."
"Indeed, we do, Sister." Nefari said. "And with that brat's powers gone, there is no one left to stop us."
"Think again, Navarro Sisters!" said a familiar voice.
Lamenta strode into the room, shocking both sisters when they saw her with wings again.
"I'm going to give you one chance to surrender and leave Never Land for good." Lamenta said. "Or else, I will give you a worse nightmare than the first time."
The Navarro Sisters laughed at Lamenta though.
"You don't have your wand," said Silvaria. "I don't know where you got the outfit, but you can't expect to beat us a second time. Your power is not nearly as strong as ours."
"Not alone it's not." Lamenta smirked.
That was when Myra entered the room with her family. And not just them either. Queen Mariposa, her soldiers, and many members of the werewolf pack arrived too, even the mermaids came before the Navrro Sisters, all of them ready to fight.
"You think a bunch of mutts, butterflies, walking fish, and children have any power over us?" Nefari said. "Your dreams have no power over our nightmares. You can never defeat them for good. Nightmares will come in one way or another."
"You're right. We may have bad dreams, but they cannot overpower us for good. And you have no authority to take our dreams, especially when we come together and fight for the same dream."
Lamenta made her hands glow and motioned for Myra to take her hand.
Myra did take Lamenta's hand, and Goldie took Lamenta's other hand. Soon, one by one, everyone began joining hands, and the glow of the Celestial light began to spread between all of them.
The Navarro Sisters joined hands themselves and attempted to use their power and that of the shadow monsters to defeat the Dream Fairy and her friends. Nefari and Silvaria's magic was strong, the Dream Team was stronger! They all came together and dreamed only one dream: defeating the Navarro Sisters and restoring their home!
All the good dream magic shined brightly and strongly, and soon the Navarro Sisters found themselves engulfed in the light as they had been years ago. But this time, when they were hit, they were split up and thrown far away to separate locations to be banished from Never Land, and suffer their banishments alone. And as the dream magic spread, not only were the Lost Kids freed from their chains, but the shadow monsters disappeared, and all of Never Land's dream-like beauty was restored.
People everywhere cheered as the land was once again freed from the Navarro Sisters' tyranny. Lamenta was especially grateful to Myra and her family for helping her realize that what really made a dream special was that no dream was ever truly made alone. It took lots of people working together to make dreams reality. Groups of people working together, or even just two friends giving all their might, a dream could be made real with a few steps taken. Sometimes, the first steps are taken by one person, and then on the way, someone joins them for the next steps. But like any journey, this one had to come to an end sooner or later.
"Let's get back to the ship." Lamenta said. "I think it's time we head back to Horrun Kal."
"You hear that, boys?" Myra said. "We're heading home."
And so, after a heartfelt goodbye to the rest of Never Land, Myra, Rhett, and Kade were once again boarded on the pirate ship and riding with Lamenta and the Lost Kids.
Lammy flew all around the ship and gave it a little magic touch, turning it silver and sparkly like the stars, and the ship flew through the air. Myra and the boys felt the wind in their hair as the ship sailed off. Strawberry found it nice to let her mane down too and just enjoy the journey, and seeing the kids so happy to have lived a great dream, she hoped it would be a time that would live in their hearts forever.
The clock struck eleven at night, and at that moment was when Brenda and Mace Windu were just arriving home from the party. But they weren't totally empty-handed when they returned.
After much talking, Mace reflected on what he'd said to the children earlier. He realized Myra was growing up, but she was still a child too, and she deserved to have the time she needed to grow up. Thus, he decided it would be best to let Myra have at least a couple more years in the nursery. She would probably be more open to it when she was closer to sixteen.
"Mace, I'm so glad you've changed your mind about Myra." Brenda said as she and her husband walked upstairs to check on the kids. "After all, she is still a child."
Mace yawned as he walked up with his wife. "Brenda, you know I never mean those things."
Brenda rolled her eyes. She could swear Mace still had some growing up to do himself.
Brenda opened the nursery door, but when she saw Myra's bed, it was empty! She quickly got worried, but then she saw Myra over by the window, fast asleep.
"Myra! What are you doing over there?" Brenda said, waking Myra up.
"Hmm? Oh! Mom, Dad! We're back."
"Back? From where?" Mace said, confused.
"All except the Lost Kids. They weren't quite ready."
"Lots Kids? Ready?"
"To grow up. That's why they went back to Never Land."
"Never Land?"
"Yes, but I am."
"Am?"
"Ready to grow up."
Mace started to think maybe Myra had been dreaming, but he liked to see that she was being very mature despite the events of earlier. Strawberry would've said something, but she felt sure MAce wouldn't believe it. So, she stuck to making sure Rhett and Kade were comfortably tucked into bed.
"Well, Myra. All in good time. But, I think I was a little too hard on you before and-"
"Oh, but, Mom." Myra went to her mother. "It was an amazing adventure. The mermaids, maricambas, and the Dream Fairy. She was so amazing. Why… we even faced pirates and dark witches, and even the dream fairy lost hope once. I thought she would save us, but we saved her."
Myra was so excited as she shared all about how they called Hondo a codfish, and sailed away on a ship in the sky.
"I think I'm going to bed." Mace said tiredly.
"She really is something, isn't she?" Myra said, seeing a familiar ship in the clouds. "Look how well she sails the ship."
Brenda looked out the window, and couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the ship. She quickly called Mace over, and neither of them could believe their eyes.
"Strawberry? Did you see that…?" Mace began, and Strawberry nodded.
Mace felt sure he'd seen that ship once before, when he was a little boy. And the two parents and their daughter stood by the window and watched as the ship sailed away and disappeared into the night.
"The family didn't know if they would see the Dream Fairy in person again," Gabby read. "But if you're ever in doubt about the things you dream about, just remember that no matter what your dream may be, it's up to you to decide if it becomes reality."
Lamenta was first to start clapping as the story ended.
"That was amazing!" Lamenta said.
"You really wrote all that yourself?" Boba said.
"I had a little help from some friends talking about their dreams." Gabby shrugged.
Lamenta was so grateful Gabby shared her story with her, and even though it wasn't quite the story she was used to, she thought it showed an important lesson about growing up. You're never too old or too young to dream.
And so, the children's parents took them all to bed to be tucked in.
Carmine and Caroline were so happy to see Lamenta was peacefully asleep now even without her favorite book. But then, that was when Caroline received a text message on her phone from Lee Ali's mom.
Hi, Caroline. Sorry to message you so late. Lee Ali was getting ready for bed, and we found a Peter Pan book I believe is Lamenta's. She must have left it here when she came over yesterday. We have it if you want to come pick it up tomorrow.
Lamenta was definitely going to be happy to hear this news at breakfast tomorrow.
And that's the end of another Jedi Storytime. Please be sure to review.
I've been thinking lately. I realized recently, whenever I come up with Jedi Storytime, the hardest part is choosing which characters should play what roles. Sometimes more than one would do a particular role great in their own way. So, I thought maybe I could try different versions of Jedi Storytime tales but switching the characters around, and changing the scenery and music a little bit. I know, it sounds like I'm just doing remakes, but unlike Disney with its live action remakes, I'm keeping the stories colorful, musical, and the only thing I would be changing is the actors in the story. Let me know what you think.
I had one idea to do another Aladdin story, but with Omega in the role as Princess Jasmine and Benni as Aladdin (he is already a thief). Tell me what you think. Or should I do one with the entire Bad Batch as a group of street rats with Indira as Princess Jasmine? Like I said, I just have a lot of ideas, and it's hard to choose just one. But, who says I can't make a multiverse of stories?
Anyway, please review, and I'll see you in the next story.
