Hello to all, this is Chapter 6 of the first Arc of Volume 6: Battle in Hueco Mundo!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 6: Chapter 6: The Devilish Duel! Power to Create Miracles!
In the previous episode of DKR:
With Alicia injured from Rudbornn's last attack, it was all up to Ryan to fight the Arrancar as he utterly demolished him. Ryan was on death's door as he began to remember his vow to Erika. Just the thought of her reawakened his fighting spirit, standing up from his wounds and recovering. With a stronger determination, Ryan was able to communicate with the one who's been healing his wounds; the Inner Tortoise. Trusting the giant turtle monster, Ryan also gained his Rising Limit, the Dragon Braver, and with its elemental attacks; he exposed the Arrancar's weakness of ice and with it and Alicia's good arm, Rudbornn was vanquished.
Meanwhile, Sonic and Ruby continued their fight against Zommari as Ruby fought more like a huntress, recalling what Kojan told her during their fight. With his new sense of courage, Ruby damaged Zommari until he used Resurrección. Things became bad but Sonic had a plan with nearly all the Chaos Emeralds with him as well as his willpower to overpowered the Espada. He prepared to settle things but then Shadow and Kaiba appeared and took care of the Espada, once and for all.
Elsewhere, Ed's group struggles against Szayelaporro due to the room suppressing their powers. Will they survive?

Jonouchi and the others watch as the game Yugi is having with Starrk is reaching its climax.
"Hmm…'' The Espada hums deeply, calm and yet Lilynette is freaking out. Starrk is losing with the majority of all the pair of cards going to Yugi.
''You really are impressive, Starrk-kun.'' Yugi expressed, praising how well he had him in most rounds.
''Yea, the guy managed to find most of the pairs.'' Jonouchi also admits that this guy was no pushover.
''Yet, he still lost.'' Jenny says the obvious as Yugi still won in the end.
Sighing as he picks up the last pair of cards, Starrk begins to say as he stares at the tricolor head. ''You're a weird human.''
''But did you have fun?'' Yugi asks him with a smile. The Espada looks at him and just responds indifferently. ''I suppose.''
He soon sighs, telling the human child. ''A deal is a deal. I'll show where you can find that girl.''
Jonouchi and Honda flex with grinning, madly faces while Anzu smiles, not doubtful that Yugi didn't have this. Masaya just sighs, hoping they will find Ichigo now.
This causes Lilynette to panic, yelling out. ''B-B-B-BUT STARRK! AIZEN-SAMA WILL-''
''A deal is a deal." Starrk immediately protests, having made a deal with the human. "Can't be helped.'' He then eyes Yugi and warns him. ''But if you take that girl without Aizen-sama's permission then we might end up fighting each other.''
''… I understand.'' Yugi accepts his terms, knowing that will happen but he does say with a small, sad smile. ''But I rather not fight a friend.''
Starrk doesn't express it but his eyes do shake for a brief moment, not thinking anyone would call him that.
''… I see.'' The Espada just says, standing up from the couch and begins walking. Yugi stares at him until Lilynette gets in front of him.
''Hey!'' She begins to shout, her face blushing red. ''… W-we're friends too?''
''Yup!'' Yugi responds with a big smile, causing the little Arrancar to blush more. Jenny watches this, sometimes amazed how Yugi can befriend anyone.
The fight against Szayelaporro isn't looking well as Ed or Renji can't do much with their full powers are dampened all while the Espada grins with glee.
''Damn it.'' The Shinigami curses out by this frustration, powerless to do more against the enemies' Fraccions.
''Yea, you can tell me twice.'' Ed agrees with him, also hating this too. He gazes towards Szayelaporro and questions him. ''How long you plan to torment us?!''
Snickering at his questioning, Szayelaporro gladly expresses as his craze Fraccions move around wildly. ''Forever, most likely. Play things for my toys.'' He then adjusts his glasses. ''Now then, is that all you two can do?''
The two glare with Dondochakka in a state of panic, not wanting to be here. Just then multiple arrows and green beams shoot out from the wall, tearing through the Fraccions, mainly the arrows as the green beams paralyzed them.
Renji startles but smirks, realizing who it is with Ed, also aware, shouts upset. ''About time!''
Szayelaporro turns as the wall crumbles and reveals both Uryu and Danny.
''Yea our bad, we had to deal with a Yo-Yo Lady.'' Pesche jumps in between them snickering. Danny sweat drops as he tells Ed. ''We also lost Sonic and Ruby.''
''Just great.'' Edward mutters, wishing they were among them since they'll need all the help. Danny floats down as does Uryu but Pesche crashes on top of Dondochakka, relieved to see him. Danny smiles as he stares forward and panics heavily to see that pink hair Espada from before.
''Oh come on, this guy again?!'' He complains annoyed, recalling last time how hard he was to fight. ''Is he still creepy?''
Ed just gives him a look that he is as he proclaims. ''Anyway, since I can't use my alchemy thanks to this stupid room; I'll let you handle him.''
''Yea, sure-'' Danny begins to say, clenching his fists as they glow green energy… until he blinks awkwardly, asking Ed. ''Wait, what about this room?''
Right on cue, Danny's energy fades and he's suddenly reverted back to normal. Uryu notices that with a look of surprise as his own Spiritual Energy is severely cut in half.
''Okay, Deja-vu.'' Danny utters to his surprise, not feeling like this not since his mom placed that anti-ghost device on him during that stupid trip that Vlad took them so he could "get rid" of him. Boy, he has to ask his nemesis what his plans were again once he returns home.
''Hahaha… HAHAHAHA!'' The group gaze back at Szayelaporro laughing at them as his Fraccion begins to regenerate the damage. ''Do you like it? I made this room just for you all and reinforce it so you were all doomed from the start.'' He asks them sinisterly and cruelly.
''Then he plans to kill us?'' Danny questions unease with Ed grunting, explaining it. ''I wish. He wants to see how long we'll list for his experiments.''
Danny looks back at the enemy with a look of disgust and tells him off. ''Dude, seriously. We're not lab rats!''
''No, you're all my playthings now.'' Szayelaporro proclaims with a smug grin, looking forward to who breaks first.
Enraged by those words, reminded of his failure, Dondochakka yells out furiously. ''We are not your playthings!''
''After what you did to us, to Neliel-sama; it won't happen again on these less than cool guys!'' Pesche proclaims passionately, starting to like all of these humans.
''… No comment, but thanks?'' Danny responds awkwardly, not expecting those two to be so- Wait, what did they say about this-
Szayelaporro looks at the two funny looking Arrancars and realizes what they are, grinning.
''Oh-oh! I didn't realize who you two were till now.'' He expresses, snickering at himself for not noticing them till now.
''You know them?'' Uryu questions him. The Espada narrows his eyes towards him and the others and smirks, revealing to them. ''Why of course. I was the one who scarred them along with their master.''
This shocks Danny and Renji while Ed and Uryu have had their suspicions about them and the little girl Nel. Nothing like they're plotting something but rather escaping.
Szayelaporro begins to chuckle in a mockery voice as he proclaims with a craze grin. ''It was a thrill to see them fall and break apart the way they did and their master's face when she suffered that deathly blow.''
Both Dondochakka and Pesche become mad, clenching their hands tightly yet their eyes oddly water. The Espada snickers to see their expression, already picturing the look on their faces from that fateful day.
''Does it still hurt? Seeing your master reduced into a pathetic weak child.'' He asks them in a cruel, smiling voice. This only dampens the duo's feelings with Ed startling, realizing who he's talking about.
''You don't mean that-'' He begins to question the Espada until another voice just speaks up. ''Hey.'' Everyone startles as they look up and standing outside of the hole that Uryu and Danny blasted through is Judai, staring down firmly towards the Espada. ''Snickering down on those you damaged is more pathetic.''
''Judai!'' Danny shouts with a smile while Ed complains angrily. ''IDIOT! WHY REVEAL YOURSELF LIKE THAT!''
Judai leaps down and lands beside them, apologizing with a small smile. ''Can't help it, just showed up.''
Smirking as he licks his lips, Szayelaporro speaks up confidently. ''My-my. I was at least expecting someone strong to appear but clearly not someone so weak.''
''Maybe I might surprise you.'' Judai responds with a small smirk, activating his Duel Disk and shouts out. ''Come out, Neos!''
Elemental HERO Neos manifests as he charges forward and swings a direct punch across the Espada except his fist and even his body flies through him. Judai startles, certain he focused his power to make Neos have a physical form.
''Ah damn it, don't tell me.'' Renji utters in dismay while Szayelaporro confirms it, adjusting his glasses with a small smirk. ''I made this room made to handle every one of you children.'' He points his finger at Judai in a mockery grin. ''So your heroic rescue was all for null.''
Judai just smirks as Neos vanishes and he declares, still holding his Duel Disk forward. ''I still got this!''
The Espada has a look of disdain, correcting him. ''Didn't you hear me, human? You-''
''Oh I did but I know your type.'' Judai then interrupts, seeing through him. He has dueled Misawa and other people smart or think they have flawless decks; he's no different. He can tell from his crazy eyes.
''You're a man of science, right? And someone who wants to prove you're better.'' He proclaims, hitting the Espada's spots of his ego and this causes Szayelaporro to grin, admitting it. ''I am better. I am perfection.''
Judai figures as much as he further says, taunting him. ''But I bet it bothers you that since you study each one of us that someone like us duelists pushes our limits, right? Especially those limits your science can't explain.''
Szayelaporro hums with a look of curiosity. Judai smirks as he says. ''Like I said, I know your type because I duel a few guys like you.'' He then becomes serious, calling him out determinedly. ''Duel me if you think your perfect being can beat something you don't understand. Unless of course you think you're going to lose against some human.''
Uryu and Renji sweat drops as does Dondochakka and Pesche, clueless on the duel part.
Ed facepalms with Danny sighing, reminding Judai who they're up against. ''Judai, this crazy nutjob would never be interested to-''
''You're quite the talker but you are not far from the truth.'' The group is startled by Szayelaporro's declaration. He adjusts his glasses before snapping his fingers. A Fracción dashes forward and hands its master a Duel Disk with a Deck set. The Espada takes it and straps it on, proclaims with a smirk. ''Very well, mortal. I will entertain you a bit.''
Ed drops his jaw; actually speechless this guy is literally going to duel Judai no less having a Duel Disk. Danny watches, not at all surprised. Expect the unexpected with Judai.
The two walk forward, taking their position as Szayelaporro vows with such glee. ''Once I beat you and kill you, I will enjoy studying your body.''
''I wonder about that.'' Judai responds with a cock smirk before becoming serious, activating his Duel Disk.
''Duel!'' Judai shouts with Szayelaporro grinning insanely as they draw their top 5 cards, commencing the duel.
Duel Screen: Judai Yuki: 4000LP vs. Szayelaporro Grantz: 4000LP
Ed watches this, not liking this and the same is felt from Danny who questions the HERO duelist ''You better have a good plan, Judai.''
Uryu also agrees, still shocked that their enemy will play into Judai's challenge. Is his ego that strong?
''Oh yes please do.'' Szayelaporro also questions in a taunt, smirking very aroused. ''You have no idea how much it took me to find this specific set of cards and modify the deck to my liking and study your silly game and understand it with just a flick of my hand.''
He's lying; it took him less than a fraction of the time to understand the game and find his ideal deck as well as know all the exploits of Team Dragon Knight's duelists, including the one he's staring upon. Judai just stares seriously, responding. ''I'll be the judge of that.''
''Yes you will." The Espada replies back as he crosses his arms in a very fanboyish manner. Judai just smirks as he tells him. "Go on, you can start first!''
Duel Screen: Turn 1_ Judai: 4000LP H: 5 / Szayelaporro: 4000LP H: 5
''Very well. My turn.'' Szayelaporro begins to declare, drawing his top card. He eyes it and then immediately sets 3 cards in his Duel Disk.
''I set 3 cards face-down.'' He declares as 3 face-down horizontal manifests on his field. He smirks, adjusting his glasses as he calls it a turn. ''My turn is over.''
This surprises Judai as does the others, especially Dondochakka who has no idea what is happening or what this is. Pesche hums, trying to understand it.
''That's it?'' Ed questions are really annoyed with Danny replying. ''Seemingly. And I don't like it.''
Uryu also agrees, at least familiar with the card and its mechanics.
Duel Screen: Turn 2_ Judai: 4000LP H: 5 / Szayelaporro: 4000LP H: 3
Judai also doesn't like this duel, not having the right hand.
''What's wrong? It's your turn.'' Szayelaporro taunts the duelist with a smug smirk. Judai just glares as Yubel, appearing behind him in spirit form, advises him with her arms crossed. "Judai, careful. I don't like what he's plotting.''
Judai just nods, thinking the same. Szayelaporro widens his eyes to see what he can describe as a ghostly entity behind him, visible due to his Spiritual Energy. He just coos at this, very fascinating as he says. ''Oh~. You're no ordinary human.''
''You can say that.'' Judai just responds before shouting. ''My turn, draw!''
He draws his top card and then summons a monster. ''I summon Elemental HERO Bubbleman!''
Appearing on his field is the bubble weapon wielding hero.
Elemental HERO Bubbleman Lvl 4 ATK: 800 DEF: 1200
''Bubbleman's effect lets me draw 2 cards!'' Judai explains, drawing 2 more cards. He eyes his cards and then plays one of them. ''I activate the spell, Hero's Bonds! With it, I can Special Summon 2 Level 4 Elemental HERO monsters from my hand!''
He grabs two cards in his hand and declares, summoning them. ''Appear, Elemental HERO Blazeman and Woodsman!''
Appearing are both the forest-like and the fiery hero monsters.
Elemental HERO Blazeman Lvl 4 ATK: 1200 DEF: 1800
Elemental HERO Woodsman Lvl 4 ATK: 1000 DEF: 2000
''Blazeman's effect lets me add Polymerization from my Deck to my hand.'' Judai then informs his opponent with a smirk, adding his favorite spell into his hand. Szayelaporro watches this and he can't help but form a twisted grin with some of his tongue sticking out, slurping his lips.
''Why the hell is he grinning?'' Ed questions worryingly, not liking that expression not one bit.
Also noticing that face, Judai doesn't have a choice but to walk forward with no hesitation or doubt. Reaching to his latest added card, Judai begins to declare playing his card. ''I activate my favorite Spell, Polymerization! With it, I-''
''Hahahah…'' Immediately on cue, Szayelaporro begins laughing ominously, at first softly before his laughter escalates. ''HAHAHA! HOW PREDICTABLE!''
Renji panics while Edward glares, figuring as much.
''I've done my research and made my Deck to handle your little Fusions. Now behold my card!'' The Espada announces with a smirk, revealing the worth of his counter card. One of his set cards flips open and Judai slowly widens his eyes, recognizing it. ''Non-Fusion Area?!''
Indeed, it is the Continuous Trap as it glows and causes the holographic form of Polymerization to fizz out before fading away.
''Oh~? So you know this card?'' Szayelaporro questions him curiously. Judai gazes at him, recalling many duels he's had with his friends like Misawa and how he loves to create equations and strategies to utterly beat his opponents, especially trying to beat him. He's tried all to beat Judai's deck, using traps to negate Polymerization or stopping Fusion Summoning like Non-Fusion Area.
Judai just nods as he reveals. ''While it's on the field, neither player can Fusion Summon.''
This surprises Ed and Danny who questions. ''So wait, then Judai's Fusion card can't work?''
''Sadly so.'' Judai informs them, oddly making a small smirk. ''Pretty clever guy.''
Edward growls, really hating that Espada. Dondochakka's eyes spin around, not getting any of this while Renji sweat drops, trying to follow this.
"Oh I get it! He can't summon big cards!" Pesche proclaims, figuring it out.
"This is bad. If the enemy has locked away Judai's preferred summoning method, it basically kills all of his plays." Uryu proclaims, realizing how greatly bad this is.
This isn't going to discourage Judai, reaching for another card and playing it. ''I equip Bubbleman with the Equip Spell, Hero Arsenal!''
Manifesting on Bubbleman's left arm is a computer-like gauntlet arm.
''This card sends itself to the Graveyard and through its effect, lets me add an Equip Spell that has HERO in its card text.'' Judai declares as the gauntlet weapon turns into light. A card pops out from Judai's deck as he plays it. ''I equip Bubbleman with the Equip Spell, Bubble Blaster! With it, Bubbleman gains 800 ATK!''
A massive water cannon appears over Bubbleman who grabs on it, holding it on his shoulder.
''Plus Hero Arsenal's other effect increases the ATK of HERO monsters I control by 400!'' Judai then reveals the other effect of his sent Equip Spell, powering up all of his HEROes. Danny smirks as now Judai can win this.
''Battle!'' Judai begins to declare as he commands. ''Woodsman, Blazeman, direct attack!''
Both heroes charge right at Szayelaporro, each delivering a powerful punch as his Life Points hit hard below 1000 and yet the Espada stands there with a calm expression.
''This blow will settle it! Go, Bubbleman!'' Judai orders as Bubbleman takes aim with his cannon, charging up and fires it. ''Bubble Shot!''
It unleashes a powerful water shot directly at the Espada who slowly grins and utters out calmly. ''Reverse trap open, Phoenix's Rebirth.''
One of his two set cards flips over, revealing the image of a dying phoenix engulfed in flames to return back to life. That same phoenix blazes onto his fields, blocking Bubbleman's attack and destroying itself. Judai isn't surprised that happen, expecting some kind of defensive card to-
''With this, the damage from your last attack is nulled and then I gain Life Points equal to the damages I took this turn.'' Szayelaporro explains his trap's power as the flames of the destroyed phoenix form around him, restoring his Life Points back to max as he adds. ''Plus I draw 2 cards.'' He draws 2 more cards on top of that.
This actually does shock Judai, worrying as he's never faced any card like that. Szayelaporro just chuckles, actually creating this very illegal card and bypassing this device's countermeasure to play such cards. Trivial for a genius such as himself.
Now Judai is in a pinch, eyeing his options as he grabs a card and declares, setting it behind his heroes. ''I set 1 card face-down. Turn end.''
Danny doesn't like this. Judai was so close but this guy just had to play a broken trap like that. Ed remains quiet, not liking this either and what Judai's plans might be with his main summoning method blocked.
''So um…'' Renji begins to speak up, really puzzled if things are good or bad but no answers. Uryu just sweat drops, not bothering to even explain it too.
Duel Screen: Turn 3_ Judai: 4000LP H: 2 / Szayelaporro: 4000LP H: 5
''Now then…'' Szayelaporro begins to say, adjusting his glasses as he smirks. ''It is my turn!''
He draws his top card and then summons a monster from his hand. ''First I summon Myutant M-05!''
What appears is a strange dual-ended, drill-like alien-half-machine tentacle entity contained within a stasis tank. It has a strange orb center glowing.
Myutant M-05 Lvl 2 ATK: 0 DEF: 500
''Myutant?'' Judai mutters, never hearing of an archetype like that before. The Espada proceeds by revealing another monster and summons it. ''Since I control a Myutant card, I can summon Myutant Mutant from my hand.''
Appearing is another Myutant that resembles M-05 but smaller drills, black tentacles that seem more organic than robotic and a blue glowing center.
Myutant Mutant Lvl 1 ATK: 0 DEF: 0
Renji blinks before laughing, declaring. "Those things are really weak. Try summoning bigger numbers!"
Ed sweat drops, narrowing his eyes at the idiot as monsters have effects. Even Uryu agrees with the alchemist as these weaker monsters can be the most dangerous.
''Now I activate M-05's effect, releasing itself and banishing a card from my hand or field!'' Szayelaporro resumes his turn, banishing a card from his hand along with his Myutant. ''Now I can Special Summon a certain Myutant from my hand or Deck based on the card I banished. I banish a Monster Card which means this monster will serve me.''
A portal manifests above him as he calls forth with a smirk. ''Come, Myutant Beast!''
Emerging out of it is a large, dark green, almost part machine alien creature resembling a few different beasts like a hybrid of different animal parts. Its chest has a large open mouth, containing its blue core. It oddly resembles Myutant Mutant.
Myutant Beast Lvl 8 ATK: 2400 DEF: 2400
Renji staggers back with Dondochakka even more confused.
''I don't like that thing.'' He utters with Ed groaning in agreement.
''Now I activate the Field Spell, Myutant Evolution Lab!'' The Espada declares, playing a Field Spell. Their surroundings change and become a massive laboratory with many different stasis tubes and tanks as well as a large machine behind Szayelaporro with crane claws reaching to each tube. Not only that, but the ceiling also seems to be moving like there is something up there.
''Now its effect upon activation lets me Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Myutant monster from my hand or is banished.'' Szayelaporro explains as he summons a monster. It is a similar drill-like alien robotic tentacle monster but its body more open up with a cross-like bladed shape.
Myutant ST-46 Lvl 3 ATK: 500 DEF: 0
''ST-46's effect lets me add a Myutant Spell or Trap from my Deck to my hand.'' He explains, adding another Myutant card into his hand before he announces. ''I now activate ST-46 other effect, banishing a Spell Card to summon a certain Myutant.''
Both the Myutant and his card in his hand are banished as he calls forth. ''Now appear, Myutant Mist!''
Appearing is a monster that is likely the evolution of ST-46 with its body enlarged greatly, now possessing tentacle-like arms and tentacle legs. It gains a drill tip, flower-like head with the tips of its x-shaped body has purple flower-like crystals, a large rock or cocoon-like thing on its back and its arms are releasing ice and lightning powers.
Myutant Mist Lvl 8 ATK: 2700 DEF: 2900
''Great, two of them…'' Ed proclaims sarcastically. And the Espada isn't done as he announces. ''Now I use Myutant Mutant's effect, releasing itself and banishing a Myutant card from my hand to Special Summon another specific Myutant monster based on the banished card.''
He reveals a card in his hand, being a trap, as he proclaims. ''I banish a Trap so now I summon Myutant Arsenal!''
Both his Myutant and his trap vanished as a new monster appeared. It is likely the evolution of M-05 with its body larger and more humanoid as well as its body more robotic and machine. It has robot arms and lips with glowing tentacles coming out from the palms of its crane-like hands as well as shooting out from its chest. Its back comes out a laser-like tentacle weapon and chainsaw.
Myutant Arsenal Lvl 8 ATK: 3000 DEF: 1000
''However, I now take damage equal to my summoned monster's original ATK.'' Szayelaporro announces as his body glows in dangerous energy and his Life Points drop to a mere 1000. Danny is surprised he just took all that damage while Judai has a bad feeling, gazing at his set card.
''Battle!'' Szayelaporro declares as he then announces. "Thanks to my Field Spell, for each banished Myutant card, my Myutant monsters gain 100 ATK.''
His monsters shoot up higher, likely enough to destroy Judai's field even with Bubble Blaster's protection effect.
''Now go, Myutant Arsenal!'' He commands as his stronger Myutant dashes aggressively towards Woodsman. Quickly grabbing a card in his hand, Judai announces as he raises the card over his head. ''I activate Elemental HERO Spirit of Neos from my hand!''
This surprises everyone as Judai explains with a smirk. ''When my monster declares an attack, I can Special Summon him from my hand in Defense Position.''
Szayelaporro pauses for a second if he should negate that effect with Arsenal's effect but he chooses not to, narrowing his sight at Judai's set card.
''Show yourself, Elemental HERO Spirit of Neos!'' Judai calls forth as appearing on his field is a monster exactly identical to Elemental HERO Neos except his whole body is glowing in a ghostly aura.
Elemental HERO Spirit of Neos Lvl 7 ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000
''Plus Spirit of Neos' effect lets me add a Spell or Trap that mentions an Elemental HERO by name or Polymerization from my Deck to hand. And he cannot be destroyed by battle.'' Judai then reveals his hero's effects, adding a card from his Deck to his hand.
Szayelaporro just snickers, expecting more than that as he taunts his opponent. ''Oh? How will your monsters handle my onslaught?''
Judai smirks as he responds. ''Simple! Reverse Trap open, Staunch Defender!'' His set card flips over, glowing as he explains it. ''I choose Spirit of Neos and now you have to attack him first and only him this turn.''
''Really clever plan Judai!'' Danny praises his friend. Edward agrees as that means Spirit of Neos will protect all of his other monsters and itself with its battle protection effect.
''Interesting, but this is all going to my plan.'' Szayelaporro, however, responds expecting this in one of his many plans. He banishes his last card in his hand as he announces. ''I banish Myutant GB-88 from my hand to activate Mist's effect. Now I can draw 2 cards.''
He draws 2 cards from his deck.
''Lovely…'' Ed mutters annoyed as Judai's protection advantage is countered by his opponent gaining more cards.
''He's still good since he only has a 1000-'' Danny begins to say that Judai still has a chance with the Life Point difference until Szayelaporro begins chuckling. ''Oh yes, I almost forgot.'' He says as he triggers his last set card. ''I reveal my trap, Phoenix's Rebirth!''
Immediately everyone panics with Ed complaining. ''Again?''
The same dying phoenix appears and becomes flames, surrounding Szayelaporro as he explains. ''All damage or any changes that lowers my Life Points will revert it back to its original total! And of course, I drew 2 more cards."
His Life Points went back to 4000 as well as replenishing his hand.
''This is not fair!'' Ed yells in protest. Uryu agrees as he says. "It's like the enemy is playing a game of Solitaire, making it impossible for Judai to make any plays."
Judai doesn't say a word, just reminded of his duel against Darkness and honestly… This Espada doesn't compare to Darkness. So it's not a big issue.
''I now set 3 cards face-down again.'' Szayelaporro announces as 3 face-down cards manifests behind his monsters, calling it a turn. ''And my turn is over.

Judai breathes calmly, not able to do much without Fusion Summoning but this isn't going to stop him. Not one bit!
''My turn!'' Shouting energetically, Judai draws his top card with a smile. He eyes it and declares. ''Woodsman's effect let me add Polymerization back to my hand.''
He adds a second Polymerization he can't use but he has a plan. Reaching to the card he drew, Judai shouts playing it. ''Next I activate the spell, R – Righteous Justice! With this I can destroy a number of cards my opponent controls up to the number of Elemental HERO monsters I control!''
Ed and Danny smile as that means Judai will get rid of Non-Fusion Area and the 3 set cards. However, Szayelaporro sees this a mile ahead and snickers as he declares. ''I banish 1 card from my hand to activate Beast's effect, negating and banishing your Spell.''
He banishes his last card in his hand as Beast fires a strange beam from its mouth, zapping Judai's card and nullifies it. Ed growls out of frustration again.
''Figures it wouldn't be that easy.'' Judai says before he chuckles, still having a plan. ''Good thing I have a backup plan.'' He grabs the card he added through Spirit of Neos and plays it. ''I activate the spell, EN Combination!''
The card manifests as it shows the image of Elemental HERO Burstinatrix and Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab unleashing a combing blast of flames forward.
''By returning an Elemental HERO or Neo-Spacian monster on my field back to my Deck, I can add a card that lists ''Elemental HERO'' or ''Neo-Spacian'' in its card text from my Deck to my hand.'' Judai explains his card's effect. ''I return Spirit of Neos to add Neospace Wave.''
Spirit of Neos leaves the field, shuffling back to his deck, as he adds another card into his hand. Judai then proceeds to play it. ''I activate the spell, Neospace Wave! By sending my current monsters, I can Special Summon random Neo-Spacians from my Deck equal to the number of monsters sent this way.''
All three HERO monsters vanished, returning back to his Deck as he calls forth. ''Come out, my Neo-Spacian friends!''
Appearing in their places are Neo-Spacians Grand Mole, Dark Panther and Air Hummingbird.

His Neo-Spacian vanishes as Judai calls forth with a smile, raising his arm up high. ''Come out, Elemental HERO Neos!''
Appearing onto the field in his passionate, strong pose is Elemental HERO Neos.
Elemental HERO Neos Lvl 7 ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000
''Both Grand Mole and Dark Panther.'' Danny begins to say, recalling how Judai summoned Elemental HERO Nebula Neos in his duel against Arkham from what Alicia, Ichigo and Jonouchi said. Edward also says realizing this is possible. ''And his Contact Fusion isn't a Fusion Summon.''
''Go Judai!'' Danny shouts with a smile. Judai smirks as he begins to shout. ''Let's go, Triple-''
''Hahaha." Judai staggers back as Szayelaporro begins to snicker before going full madman laughing. "HAHAHA!''
This worries everyone with Uryu questioning him firmly. ''What's so funny?''
Calming down, Szayelaporro begins to explain himself with a small grin. ''You really think I wouldn't prepare myself against any and all my likely opponents?'' He gazes towards Judai and his summoning methods. ''I had a counter for even your 'Contact Fusion'. Allow me to show you.''
He triggers his set card and reveals it. ''My set Trap, Sinister Rebirth!''
The card flips over, showing the image of a demon being summoned forth through a dark portal through the souls of unwillingly Duel Monster spirits.
''When my opponent summons a Level 7 or higher monster, that monster is shuffled back in your Deck and next all other cards you control are banished!'' The Espada declares with an eerie grin to Judai's shock. The trap fires a wave that causes Neos to grunt before vanishing and then the rest of Judai's Neo-Spacians are banished.
This horrifies the group with Danny questioning. ''Why now then wait when Judai summoned Nebula Neos?''
''Because Nebula Neos would give him more benefit through its effect and not lose possible monsters too.'' Uryu explains, also aware of that hero's effect as well as how it can negate a card's effect. Judai doesn't say much, just going to need a Plan C.
''However, my card's last effect lets you Special Summon a Level 5 or lower monster from your Deck.'' Szayelaporro then reveals the last effect of his trap. ''Go on.''
It didn't give Judai a lot of options but it is something. He looks through his deck and summons his monster. ''I choose Elemental HERO Ice Edge!''
Appearing on Judai's field is the small ice HERO monster.

''I'm not done as I activate the spell, Hero's Award!'' Judai then continues his turn, playing another spell. It shows the image of an unknown superheroine receiving a large golden award from the mayor of the city for all of her heroics. ''If I control 1 HERO monster and my opponent has 2 or more monsters, I can draw a card for each monster you control. So now I draw 3 cards!''
He draws 3 cards due to the 3 Myutants on the field. He eyes his cards and plays one of them. ''Next I activate the spell, Graceful Charity! Now I draw 3 cards but discard 2.''
He draws 3 more cards and eyes them. Judai staggers for a second before picking his two cards and discards them.
''I set 2 cards face-down.'' He announces, setting 2 cards behind his hero and finishes his turn. ''Turn end.''
Ed grunts, feeling for him as Judai lost too much from that turn.

Szayelaporro is already thinking 10 turns ahead in what the cards that Judai had set is as well as the cards discarded. And yet it doesn't matter, he'll crush anything he plays and make him suffer.
''Now I draw.'' He announces, drawing his top card. He eyes it and proceeds to use his field spell's last effect. ''First I use Myutant Evolution Lab to return this Myutant card from my hand to my Deck and then I can draw 1 card.''
He puts the card in his hand to the bottom of his Deck to draw again. Smirking, he declares activating his last set card. ''I now reveal my Continuous Trap, Null Rebirth!''
The card flips over, showing the image of a void portal that is being reshaped to resemble some kind of monster.
''This card can only be activated during my turn. I target a card on my field and negate its effect until the end of this turn and if I do, I add a Spell or Trap that is banished or in my Graveyard.'' Szayelaporro explains his trap's effect as he picks his target. ''I negate Non-Fusion Area to add Myutant Fusion that was banished and adding it back to my hand.''
This surprises everyone, even Judai with Uryu expressing dumbfounded. ''He runs a card that prevents neither player from Fusion Summoning to still Fusion Summon?!''
Ed is also dumbfounded by that logic too.
Ignoring their simple-minded thinking, Szayelaporro proceeds to play the card he got. ''I activate the card I added, Myutant Fusion. I banish monsters I control to perform a Fusion Summon! I banish both Beast and Mist!''
Both monsters banished as a fusion portal manifests.
''I Fusion Summon! Now appear, Myutant Synthesis!'' The Espada calls forth as a creature emerges from the portal and a vile sight too. It is a monster that is the evolution of GB-88. Its skin darkens and more ominous, its body enlarges as does its tentacle body, growing new heads from those tentacles. Its chest is opened up revealing its core-like mouth, releasing smaller tentacles.
Myutant Synthesis Lvl 9 ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000
Judai sweats with concern about this thing. Ed growls, hating this guy. He dampens Judai's signature thing while using that same thing for his own benefit.
Szayelaporro, smirking, triggers its summoned effect as well as activating a card from his hand. ''Myutant Synthesis' effect lets me destroy a card you control and I chain it with this card, Forbidden Chalice." His card manifests on the field as a golden chalice appears on his field.
''I am quite aware of your Hero's effect so my spell gives it 400 ATK but its effects are negated." He proclaims as the chalice fires a beam of light, hitting Ice Edge and it increases its ATK but nullifying its effect. ''And now Synthesis can destroy your only monster!''
The effect of the Fusion Myutant unleashes its tentacles that tear through Judai's hero, destroying it. Now he's all defenseless as the Espada declares with a small smirk. ''And now… Farewell. Battle. Synthesis, attack.''
The Myutant lets out a shrieking cry, thrusting its tentacles again towards him. He watches worrying, not having any options but to try that one; the plan he's set since his last turn. But… he hesitates if he should until Yubel shouts in his mind. ''Judai!''
Snapping out from his doubts, Judai responds back determinedly. ''I know! Reverse card open, Call of the Haunted!''
1 of these two cards flips over as he proclaims. ''This card lets me Special Summon a monster from my Graveyard!''
Szayelaporro just smirks, not at all worried since he can't summon anything to defend himself. However, Judai does have 1 card as he calls forth. ''Show yourself, Yubel!''
Manifesting onto his field is Yubel, appearing with her wings flapped and she's smirking calmly.
Yubel Lvl 10 ATK: 0 DEF: 0
''Oh? As 1 scenario expected.'' Szayelaporro expresses, fully aware of this card from the remains of Luppi.
''Synthesis, attack!'' He proceeds with his attack, surprising Judai and Yubel. ''Nani?''
Laughing, the Espada explains himself excitedly. ''Now your monster's effect will trigger and cause me damage by its effect but that will not happen! I shall response by using Myutant Arsenal's effect.''
Yubel's effect is a forced trigger, already affecting the Fusion Myutant and triggers Arsenal's own effect.
''I banish Myutant Evolution Lab to target and banish a monster on the field.'' Szayelaporro reveals with a smirk, already targeting Yubel while the area returns back to normal. ''Now your last defense will fade away!''
Arsenal takes aim with its shoulder blaster at Yubel. Judai glares, not sure what he can do. He was hoping to stall with Yubel's effect but… but…
''It can't be helped.'' Judai calms down, hearing Yubel's voice as she advises him to go through with the backup of Plan C. ''Judai, use my real power!''
Staggering partly to hear that from her, Judai really doesn't have any choice. Nodding, he shouts, activating his set card. ''Reverse card open, Mystical Space Typhoon!''
Ed, Danny and Uryu all realize that the card will destroy Non-Fusion Area. Szayelaporro does too, humming with a small grin.
''Oh? Then you plan to get rid of-'' He questions Judai's play only for Judai to point his real target. ''I choose to destroy Call of the Haunted!''
Now this surprises the Espada with slight, widened eyes. ''Excuse me?''
A powerful typhoon manifests around the trap, destroying it.
''And by doing this, Yubel is immediately destroyed!'' Judai then points out as Yubel begins to glow and shatter into pieces. ''Now Arsenal's effect missed its target!''
Szayelaporro frowns unimpressed as he says. ''Means nothing, I will simply-''
''Attack me directly?'' The Espada staggers again by Judai finishing his last words with a smirk. He then becomes serious, declaring. ''That won't happen. I activate Yubel's effect!''
''It has another effect?'' Szayelaporro utters out, even more surprised. Judai just stares serious as the area begins to quake violently as he declares. ''If she's destroyed, Yubel evolves.''
''What?'' The Espada utters with everyone else astounded.
Breathing, Judai shouts out. ''Appear, das abscheulich ritter! Yubel – Terror Incarnate!''
The quaking becomes darkness that surrounds Judai's field and soon it all focuses in one spot and forms into becoming a massive two-headed, demonic dragon that possess similar colors and design to Yubel as well as a massive red eye on the chest, some black fur patches with claws and horns, a long tail and large dragon demon wings.
Yubel –Terror Incarnate Lvl 11 ATK: 0 DEF: 0
Everyone is left speechless as this is not what they expect Judai to summon.
''W-what the…'' Renji utters with Dondochakka even more confused with each second while Pesche whistles nervously at its size.
''Okay, this monster is actually new.'' Danny expresses, once more, awe by Judai's many secrets and surprises. He then asks Edward and then asks, puzzled by the last bit that Judai said before summoning his monster. ''What did he say exactly? That wasn't Japanese.''
Edward hums, sounding similar and Uryu informs them. ''It's German for the Detestable Knight.''
Danny blinks and Ed responds with a disturbing look at Judai's monster. ''It sure is detestable.''
Judai eyes Terror Incarnate, not thinking in his wildest dreams that the very monster he fought years ago would fight on his side. He can't help but smile, already thinking that Yubel is content about the irony too.
Szayelaporro also can't help but grin, truly not expecting such an interesting series of events.
''A minor error on my part. I wasn't aware your monster could evolve.'' He expresses surprise by this and yet not worries about this new equation.
Judai faces him with a firm look, realizing this guy is just like Misawa or Camilla or Edo or any duelist he's fought who figured out how his deck functions and they all always lose in the end.
''You know, you're like a few duelists I've fought who seen my deck all except a few number of cards.'' Judai begins to tell him before looking at him with a gaze of disappointment. ''And you and them have a lot in relates with them; you underestimate my cards too.''
That actually causes Szayelaporro to scowl, never insulted in such a way. Underestimate him? What utter nonsense.
''Turn end.'' He proclaims, finishing his turn confidently.

''My turn!'' Judai declares, drawing his top card and smirks before declaring. ''Let's do this, Yubel! Let's show him that no one is perfect in this world!''
Yubel responds with a mighty roar, standing behind her partner.
Can Judai turn the duel around with Yubel's power?

Jonouchi: I have never seen a game of Concentration like this before. Words don't describe it.
Judai: Let's do this Yubel! We'll beat this mad scientist, here and now!
Taking his time, Starrk leads the group to floor level and shows them the exit to the endless land of sand before them.
"This is it. Walk across this towards the next tower.'' The Espada instructs them, pointing forward to the horizon of the desert.
''ACROSS THIS MASSIVE SAND BOX?!'' Both Jonouchi and Honda shout in horrific panic, not expecting the inside to still be desert.
"You scared?'' Anzu tells the two firmly with both hands gripping on her hips. The two snap out, gulping with Jonouchi muttering softly. ''C-Can't be helped.''
Jenny focuses and can barely feel anything. She eyes Yugi and asks him. ''Can you feel Ichigo across all this sand?''
Yugi has been trying and yes, he can feel her aura but it's still being blocked by this place.
''It's faint but she's across all of this sand.'' He informs his sister, more than sure she's there.
He turns to Starrk and thanks him with a smile. ''Thank you!'' He then eyes the little Arrancar, looking rather jealous and he smiles, correcting himself. ''The both of you. That means we're now friends!''
Lilynette staggers at those words, pointing out the obvious with words of hesitation. ''How can you say that? Hollows and Humans are enemies.''
''Because I have no grudges with you guys.'' Yugi explains himself, still smiling. He eyes Starrk and says honestly. ''Besides, I think you're really smart, Starrk-kun!'' He then eyes Lilynette and also says smiling. ''And you're also really nice, Lilynette-kun!"
Those words cause the little Arrancar to blush really brightly, uttering with a very Tsundere face. ''H-Hey!''
''… I hope we don't fight.'' Expressing with a firm voice, Starrk tells Yugi who looks at him and smiles, instead saying kindly. ''And I hope to meet you again.''
The Espada just looks at him, his eyes looking different, almost softening before he turns his back and walks back inside. Lilynette staggers as she runs right behind him.
Yugi just smiles as he turns back to the desert. He eyes determinedly, walking forward as the others follow suit. Ichigo is waiting for them.
Back to the duel; Szayelaporro slowly begins to laugh, finding such humor by what the so-called human said. He calms down before saying. ''What nonsense. I am perfect.''
''… You're wrong.'' The Espada startles slightly, his smirk fading quickly as Judai gazes at him with a determined face. ''No one is perfect and I intend to show you.''
He reaches for a card in his hand and plays it. ''I activate the spell, Necro Fury!''
The card manifests, showing the image of a shadowy figure resembling Yubel reaching out with her claw to slash down Uria the Lord of Searing Flames.
''If I control a DARK monster, I can destroy 1 monster on the field!'' Judai explains one of the effects of his spell as he points at his target. ''I destroy Arsenal!''
Szayelaporro smirks as he declares. ''Null Rebirth other effect allows me redirect an effect to another monster I control.'' He picks Synthesis which he chains to its effect. ''And then I use Myutant Synthesis' effect to chain to your Spell's effect. Until the End of this turn, my Myutant becomes unaffected by your Spell's effect.''
The spell redirects its effect to the Fusion Myutant who becomes unaffected by it. Judai isn't concerned as he then announces. ''Necro Fury's other effect is if I control a Yubel monster, I can draw 2 cards.''
He draws 2 more cards, smirking before commanding. ''Battle! Yubel – Terror Incarnate, attack Myutant Arsenal!''
Yubel roars, its eyes glowing which causes Arsenal to move on its own, charging at the two-headed dragon.
''Yubel's damage effect is added to Terror Incarnate! So now Yubel will damage you equal to your battling monster's ATK!'' Judai announces, using his partner's power against his enemy. ''Go! Nightmare Pain!''
Szayelaporro scoffs as he announces. "I banish Arsenal to-'' Judai smirks as he informs him. ''Not happening! Necro Fury's last effect prevents my opponent from activating cards and effects when a Level 10 or higher monster battles!''
This shocks the Espada as Arsenal attacks Yubel that causes it to release a shrieking roar so strong it hits the Espada directly, screaming as he's launched backwards. ''GGAAA!''
Ed smirks with Danny smiling that he nailed that blow.
Uryu does worry about the set card which slowly begins to flip over.
''Open, my trap Phoenix's Rebirth!'' Uttering out damaged, Szayelaporro triggers his trap as it glows brightly.
''A third?!'' Renji and Pesche shout in protest while Dondochakka is more confused.
Like the other times, the dying phoenix burns up and heals Szayelaporro, restoring all the damage he took and draws 2 more cards.
Judai isn't surprised as he reaches and plays a card from his hand. ''I activate the spell, Contact Gate!'' A rainbow colored portal manifests above him as he explains. ''I banish Grand Mole and Air Hummingbird and next I can Special Summon 2 other Neo-Spacian monsters from my hand, Deck or Graveyard. Appear, Aqua Dolphin, Flare Scarab!''
Both Aqua Dolphin and Flare Scarab appear on Judai's field in Defense Position.

''Next I discard Cross Keeper from my hand to Special Summon a Neo-Spacian or Neos from my hand or Graveyard to the field.'' Judai then announces, discarding a monster that resembles Cross Portal but blue and much cooler too. Another portal forms as Judai calls forth. ''Come back Glow Moss!''
Glow Moss emerges out of the portal, kneeling down in Defense Position.
Neo-Spacian Glow Moss Lvl 3 ATK: 300 DEF: 600
''Next I play the spell, Space Gift! I draw a card for each Neo-Spacian I control!'' Judai announces, playing another card ''Fellow Sacrifice!''
as he draws 3 cards. He eyes the cards and grabs two.
"I set 2 cards face-down!'' He declares, setting 2 cards behind his monsters. ''Turn end. And now, I use Yubel's other effect!''
This surprises the Espada as Judai explains with a smirk. ''I must destroy all other monsters I control and then for each one destroyed, I can destroy that same number on your field!'' Yubel lets out a powerful roar so strong, it destroys the Neo-Spacians but the same way hits across Szayelaporro's monsters, destroying them too.
Ed and Danny cheer that Judai at least turns the tables. However, Szayelaporro smirks as he announces. ''Myutant Synthesis' effect lets me add a banished Myutant card back to my hand.''
He adds his card to Ed's annoyance. ''This guy is starting to piss me off!''

''My turn.'' Szayelaporro proclaims, drawing his top card as he commands. ''Null Rebirth negates Non-Fusion Area to add Myutant Mutant to my hand.''
He adds his banished Myutant back to his hand.
Yubel's dragon heads turn and give a gaze towards Judai who understands what she wants him to do. Nodding, Judai soon declares. ''I activate Necro Fury's last effect. I banish it to destroy a monster I control! I destroy Yubel – Terror Incarnate!''
Yubel roars as its body begins to dissolve, destroyed. This confused the Espada, questioning his logic. ''Why would you…''
''Then Yubel's final effect activates!" Judai announces as swirls of chaotic pillar of energy shoot upward from behind him. "When it leaves the field, her final evolution manifest!''
This shocks the enemy as Judai announces in a Germany voice. ''Appear, das extremer traurig drachen!'' The pillar splits apart and reveals the final form of Yubel. ''Yubel – The Ultimate Nightmare!''
It is the final form of Yubel as the Terror Incarnate as it gains additional wings, its dragon heads gain faces on their foreheads, sharper claws and horns, more fur on the thighs of the legs and the eyeball chest is now a massive demonic face resembling Yubel's as well as demonic normal head over it.
Yubel – The Ultimate Nightmare Lvl 12 ATK: 0 DEF: 0
This again shocks everyone watching this that Judai even has such a monster.
''Translate?'' Danny asks, pretty shaken up. Uryu, gulping calmly as he adjusts his glasses, explains the name Judai said. ''It means the Extremely Sorrowful Dragon.''
''… Fitting name.'' Ed comments. He can taste that sorrow right now.
''Changes nothing! I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Trap Booster! By sending this card to my Graveyard, I may activate 1 Trap Card from my hand.'' Szayelaporro announces, sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard as he proceeds to activate a Trap from his hand. ''And that card is Myutant Cry! I shuffle Myutant monsters from my hand, Graveyard and banished to perform a Fusion Summon.''
Judai glares worryingly as the Espada calls forth. ''I choose Arsenal, Beast and Synthesis!''
All 3 Myutants appear temporarily before being forced fused into each other as swirls of darkness erupt from the center point, almost like tentacles.
''Manifest, Myutant Ultimus!'' Szayelaporro calls forth with a grin as the darkness explodes and takes the form of something diabolical. It is the evolved form of Myutant Synthesis as its body is much darker purple, while its body is so much larger than this whole room. It leaks out purple energy from its tentacle heads and its multiple eyes as its core now glows an eerie yellow energy.
Myutant Ultimus Lvl 10 ATK: 3500 DEF: 3000
Ed drops his jaw as does Danny and the others; not sure which one looks more monstrous. Judai stares calmly as Szayelaporro proclaims with a smirk. ''It doesn't matter how effective your final monster is, Ultimus will easily crush it. Attack, Ultimus!''
Ultimus shrieks, its eyes glowing to commence its attack but Judai counters, triggering his set card. ''Reverse Counter Trap open, Negate Attack! I negate and end the Battle Phase.''
Szayelaporro widens his eyes, irritated, unable to use Ultimus' effect.
''Whew! Close one huh?'' Judai asks him in a taunting tone. In fact he was concern what this thing's effect was but he has a good feeling it will negate Yubel's effect.
The Espada is starting to become annoyed by this human and his damn combos, planning to use Ultimus' effect to negate and banish this Yubel. He eyes his hand and declares, setting cards. ''I set 2 cards face-down.'' He soon smirks as he then proclaims. ''Then I activate Phoenix's Rebirth's final effect.''
Everyone becomes alarmed as the Espada explains. ''By banishing 1 of the 3 copies in my Graveyard, I can add both copies to my hand.''
That actually horrifies Judai with Ed muttering with such hate. ''Son of a…''
''I set 1 more card.'' Szayelaporro declares, setting an additional card that it's obvious what it is. ''My turn is over.''
Duel Screen: Turn 8_ Judai: 4000LP H: 3 / Szayelaporro: 4000LP H: 1
''My turn!'' Judai shouts, drawing his top card. He eyes it and smirks, playing it. "I activate the spell, Hidden Armory! I send the top card of my Deck to add an Equip Spell from my deck."
He adds his card and proceeds to play it. ''I equip Yubel with the Equip Spell, Rainbow Veil! With this, my opponent's monster I battle with Yubel cannot activate its effect.''
A rainbow aura forms around Yubel who snickers, finding this ironic to be protected by the very card she had trouble with long ago.
Szayelaporro grunts, realizing he has no clue how this Yubel's effects can be and so he'll have to let this slide.
''Battle! Yubel, attack Ultimus!'' Judai commands as Yubel roars, its eyes glowing as Ultimus thrusts its tentacles. They stab onto Yubel which just roars, releasing a devastating wave.
''Yubel's effect inflicts not just damage equal to Ultimus' ATK and also destroys that monster it battled!'' Judai announces as he points at the shocked Espada. ''Nightmare Pain!''
The wave tears through Ultimus and it implodes before exploding upon its user.
''GAAAH!'' Szayelaporro screams in severed pain so much so that Phoenix's Rebirth triggers on its down, healing all damage Szayelaporro took and letting him draw 2 cards. The Espada gasped heavily, gasping as the damage felt too real.
''H-He's winning right?'' Renji asks, extremely confused what even happened.
Hissing calmly, Szayelaporro announces. ''Ultimus' effect lets me add 1 Myutant Monster, Spell and Trap that are banished to my hand.''
He adds 3 additional cards, filling up his hand. Judai still isn't worried as he grabs and sets 2 cards.
''I set 2 cards face-down. Turn end.'' He declares calmly as two face-down cards manifest behind Yubel and his turn ends.
Duel Screen: Turn 9_ Judai: 4000LP H: 1 / Szayelaporro: 4000LP H: 6
Even though he has so much advantage, Szayelaporro cannot express how heated he is right now. To think anyone, no less a mere human, could cause such damage to him.
''You are surely getting under my skin, mortal!'' The Espada proclaims coldly and Judai taunts him calmly with a small smirk. ''Oh am I? Good.''
This gets to the pink haired Espada's confidence, demanding annoyance. ''You think you can compete with me. This is all childish like your belief that you can save your friend.''
Judai soon glares, like the calm before the storm as the mad genius shows his twisted traits, shouting. ''You fools will die where you stand and there is nothing you can do to change it! In other words; you all have failed! ALL OF IT MEANINGLESS!'' Szayelaporro begins to laugh like a twisted hyena. ''AS MEANINGLESS AS THIS DUEL, YOUR LIVES WILL BE EXPERIMENTED AND CONSUMED BY MY GENIUS!''
Ed actually worries, thinking he's losing it and that makes him more dangerous.
''MY TURN!'' Szayelaporro shouts, drawing his top card fiercely. He eyes it and grins, activating it. ''I activate the spell, Madness Creation!''
The card manifests, showing the image of an unknown mad scientist performing an experiment that harnesses the power of creation.
''You get to draw 2 cards but I can shuffle any number of cards in my hand back to my Deck and then I add the same number return to my hand of my choice.'' The Espada explains his card's effect, shocking Judai as he draws his 2 cards. He then returns all but 1 card in his hand to redraw the cards he wants.
''Next I play the card, Monster Reborn!'' Szayelaporro shouts, playing the revival spell as a dark portal manifests above him. ''Revive, Ultimus!''
Emerging out of the portal is the powerful Fusion Myutant, shrieking loudly.
Myutant Ultimus Lvl 10 ATK: 3500 DEF: 3000
''Null Rebirth negates Non-Fusion Zone so I can add this card to my hand.'' He then announces, adding another card into his hand. Having all he needs, Szayelaporro plays his final trump card. ''Now I activate the spell, Greater Polymerization! I fuse Myutant Beast, Mist, Arsenal and Ultimus!''
Everyone staggers as Ultimus begins merging along with the 3 main deck Myutant monsters. Swirls of chaotic energy fly across the center point of the fusing while Szayelaporro begins chanting. ''Awaken from the absolute depths of chaos and madness! Let your tendrils and madness consume reality into your country!''
The swirling of energy becomes a portal that tears through reality. Szayelaporro laughs like a crazy psychopath as he calls forth. ''FUSION SUMMON!'' The portal brings forth a massive figure that towers behind the Espada, horrifying everyone else. ''Now appear, Myutant Verum Finis!''
Judai stares upon in terror is the final form of Myutant Ultimus. Now its body has massive, multiple legs while it towers over the large room and nearly covers the whole area. It also gains parts of the different main deck Myutants: It has Beast's claws, horns and tail, Mist's x-shaped metal chest as well as four tentacle arms that contain different elemental energies and Arsenal's robotic tentacle weapons. Verum Finis has 6 main tentacle heads and 6 piercing demonic eyes on its head as well as a pair of demonic, phoenix-like wings. Each wing also has a large demonic eye. It shrieks from its massive, sharp fang chest mouth that contains its purple glowing core.
Myutant Verum Finis Lvl 11 ATK: 4300 DEF: 3900
No word describes how bad this thing looks-like. Even Edward can't say something sarcastically.
''Now I battle! Myutant Verum Finis, attack that vile demon!'' Szayelaporro commands as the creature releases a horrific shriek as its multiple eyes begin to glow as well as its weapons, all of it aiming towards Yubel.
''Rainbow Veil-'' Judai begins to say but the Espada counters with his ultimate Myutant's effects. ''Verum Finis is unaffected by your card effects and monsters that battle it at the end of the Damage Step are banished!''
This shocks Judai as he triggers one of his set cards. ''Reverse card open, Battle Fusion! I-'' Immediately Szayelaporro interrupts and counters. ''I use Verum Finis' effect to negate your card's effect and I can use it for once for each Spell, Trap and Monster Effect!''
This shocks everyone, meaning it can negate Yubel's effect too.
A replay occurs as Ultimate Nightmare tries to use its effect too but Verum Finis negates it and then banishes the monster. Judai frowns as he hears Yubel's voice. "Don't worry about me Judai. I'm still with you."
Judai nods, taking her word by heart. Szayelaporro just laughs at what he then reveals. ''It's over for you. Verum Finis can attack once more!''
The others panic as they figure Judai's last card is a trap and Szayelaporro can negate it.
''NOW DIE!'' The Espada shouts as Verum Finis fires its powerful eye beams towards him. It seems the end but Judai just smirks.
''It's not over yet! Reverse card open!'' He begins to declare as his other set card flips over and glows. ''The Flute of a Summoning Kuriboh! With it, I can Special Summon a monster from my Deck!''
Szayelaporro makes a face of disgust. To think he had 2 Quick-Play Spell Cards set.
''I'm counting on you partner, Winged Kuriboh!'' Judai calls forth as Winged Kuriboh appears on his field, letting out its cute cry. ''Kuri!''
Winged Kuriboh Lvl 1 ATK: 300 DEF: 200
Ed sighs of relief that Judai isn't out yet.
"Nice furball!" Pesche compliments Judai's monster with Dondochakka nodding, just muttering more puzzled. "I don't know what's happening anymore."
Grunting, Szayelaporro still attacks the monster as Verum Finis fires its beams. Winged Kuriboh protects Judai, using its effect to block the piercing damage and all damage before it is destroyed. Judai mutters kindly. "Thank you, Winged Kuriboh."
He then glares the Espada, recalling what he said about their journey to save Ichigo as hopeless. That… that he can't just accept.
''… Pointless?'' Szayelaporro narrows his eyes, puzzled as Judai stares at him irritated, telling him off. ''Who decided that we came here to die? We came to save Ichigo-chan and bring her back home!''
Judai begins to recall the 12 dimensions and his failure to protect his friends due to his pursuit to find and save Johan. His own selfish nature and fear of Yubel cause him to screw up. This time he isn't going to make the same mistake again.
''It may look pointless and the risk of saving her but that isn't going to stop us!" Judai then begins to say, recalling how he and the others all came together to save their friend, not caring of the danger or their chances. "Yugi-san placed his faith onto everyone when we all wanted to go with him! Regardless of the risk, we stick together! That is our bond, our fellowship!''
It's then that Judai widens his eyes, realizing his mistake back then. He… he didn't realize that he should have had faith in Sho and the others just like Yugi has for everyone else. He… he screwed up not thinking about everyone else but his own things. He slowly smiles, proclaiming more passion. ''That's right. We will use all of our power to save her, together!''
Szayelaporro gazes at him and cannot help but find this so uninteresting and a nuisance to hear such things.
''What utter nonsense! You think teamwork will stop us Espada no less I?!'' He questions him loudly, refusing to acknowledge what weakness.
''We can.'' Judai responds back strongly, smiling as he eyes Ed and Danny. ''Because she would risk everything to save one of us too! That is our bond!''
Ed smirks, admitting that to be truthful. Ichigo is a lot of things but her loyalty and love for her friends are her stronger traits.
''That's why we won't lose to you because we fight together!'' Judai proclaims passionately with Danny smiling, agreeing with that.
Szayelaporro glares very irritated, never hearing such trash. However, Winged Kuriboh was able to listen to all of this, its heart resonating with Judai's resolve as it began to glow to its surprise.
Just then Judai's deck also glows, surprising everyone.
''What is happening?'' The Espada questions, very foreign by what he's sensing. It's a strange energy he doesn't understand.
Judai looks down at his deck as a card pops out from it. He pulls it out and it's that card. ''Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone?'' He utters as the once powerful spell he thought he removed is back in his Deck and glowing. Its text changed before Judai's eyes.
''Its effect changed similar to…'' He begins to say, reading the effect and he can't help but smile. He looks back at Szayelaporro and explains. ''When Winged Kuriboh is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, this card is added from my Deck to my hand.''
''Means nothing.'' The Espada says calmly, having victory already. ''My turn is finished.''

Szayelaporro smirks to himself at his perfect field. On top of the set Phoenix Rebirth; he also has set Imperial Order and Myutant Clash. He has everything under his control.
''It doesn't matter what you do now. It is all pointless now!'' The Espada announces confidently of his victory.
''… It's never pointless.'' Szayelaporro makes an annoyed gaze at Judai's words, staring down at him unafraid.
''Just like it was never pointless in giving up on everything.'' He then tells himself, remembering his selfishness and it cost him more agony. This time… this time!
''I don't…'' Judai begins to mentally before he then shouts aloud.''I will not fail them! This last draw will decide it all!''
Placing his draw hand over his Deck, he declares drawing.''My turn, DRAW!''
He draws the top card of his Deck and Judai just smirks before he declares, activating his set card. ''Reverse Trap open, Favorite Contact! With it, I can Special Summon a HERO monster from my Extra Deck by placing monster materials from my hand, field, Graveyard and face-up Banished to the bottom of my Deck!''
He reveals Elemental HERO Neos to Szayelaporro's irritation who counters. ''Verum Finis' effect, I negate your trap's effect!''
Judai's trap turns gray and then into ashes. He isn't done as he declares. ''I activate the spell, Miracle Contact! With it, I can-''
''Once more, Verum Finis' effect!'' Szayelaporro declares with a grin, negating that spell too.
Uryu realizes that he can still negate monster effects.
''It won't matter; this is what I wanted!'' Judai proclaims, wanting this as he plays his key miracle card, raising it forward. ''This is the card that grants miracles: Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone!''
The card shines brightly while Szayelaporro just laughs at this. ''Oh? Among all of your cards, that card is most likely the weakest.''
''… You were right.'' Judai oddly responds with a smile which causes Szayelaporro to make a face. The HERO duelist then reveals his card's new effect. ''This Philosopher's Stone pays half of my Life Points to let me add any 1 card from my Deck to my hand and then this card is shuffled back to my Deck.''
''W-what?'' Danny utters stun with Ed freaking out. ''ANY… CARD?!''
Szayelaporro is shocked by this. How? How is that possible!
Judai's Life Points are cut as he adds his card and immediately plays it. ''Since I control no cards, I activate the spell, NEXT! With it I can Special Summon Neos and Neo-Spacians from my hand or GY! Return, my monsters!''
Appearing on the field is Neos, Aqua Dolphin and Flare Scarab.

Szayelaporro looks at the 3 monsters and smirks. He's aware of Aqua and Flare Neos. Aqua is a non-existing threat while Flare Neos is the only monster to pose some resistance but they're all useless against his ultimate Myutant monster.
''Go on, Contact Fuse! You can't hope to win!'' The Espada declares proudly of his victory.
Judai, however, smirks. ''Don't say I didn't warn you.'' He then raises his Duel Disk forward, declaring passionate ''I'll show you the possibilities between my HEROes and Neo-Spacians!''
Szayelaporro doesn't follow this until Judai declares excitedly. ''Let's go; Aqua Dolphin, Flare Scarab, Neos!''
All three monsters get into a fighting pose before they leap upward. Soon the Espada realizes what he's doing, widening his eyes as he never considered that.
''Triple Contact Fusion!'' Judai shouts as a portal to Neo Space opens up as all 3 monsters fly inside it together. The portal shines brightly as he then announces. ''If this monster would be Special Summoned; it returns all cards in the Spell and Trap Zone!''
''Excuse me!'' Szayelaporro utters in disgust. This actually horrifies the Espada as Verum Finis can't do anything to stop it since this effect is during its summon; it bypasses a chain!
Soon the portal releases a wave that returns all cards in the Spell and Trap Zones back to the owner's hands, mainly Szayelaporro.
''Now show yourself!'' Judai begins to call upon his new HERO. ''The most dangerous Contact Fusion! Elemental HERO Acid Neos!''
Descending with streams of energy is a new Neos Fusion form, this time being the combination of Flare Neos and Aqua Neos. It has a red/orange and blue colored scheme with the Neos' theme designs present. The main body is similar to Flare Neos but the black shell is replaced with the white and lining of Aqua Neos but the yellow is purple. It has Flare Neos' wings but wider like fish arms with web-beds between them. The wings have a purple glowing inner portion as it leaks out acid-like ooze. It has elbow and leg fin blades. It has Flare Neos' claw hands and insect-like parts. It keeps Flare Neos' horns but becomes more like fins. Its claws, feet and lining glows almost like acid as its mouth piece is more like a mouth piece scaled shell.
Elemental HERO Acid Neos Lvl 9 ATK: 3000 DEF: 2500
This surprises everyone with Szayelaporro being the most stunned with the ordeal. He's been keeping track of every possible card his likely opponents would have and he had no knowledge of this one.
''This monster… I have never seen this card before!'' He expresses with a face of fury. How did he hide this unknown factor from him? Judai lets out a sigh, declaring. ''Really now? You remind me of a bat lady who tried to sneak into my Deck. Shame I'm just the type who loves pulling out surprises.''
The Espada just grunts, extremely annoyed and deceived. Judai sighs again before he declares. ''Battle! Acid Neos, attack Myutant Verum Finis!''
Acid Neos squats slightly before leaping forward right towards the massive tentacle mutant monster.
''Foolish! You actually-'' Szayelaporro begins to declare with a smirk, believing he can still win until Judai declares. ''Acid Neos' effect activates!''
Szayelaporro can't tell if this boy is foolish or stupid, reminding him. ''And you think that will work with Verum Finis-''
''Acid Neos' effect cannot be responded!'' Judai, however, reveals firmly to the Espada's shock again. ''Acid Neos discards a number of cards in my opponent's hand for each card returned by its effect. And then you take 500 damage for each card sent this way plus an additional 500 too!''
Acid Neos raises its arms as it is still flying, creating water-like boiling spheres.
''Go, Acid Rapid Shot!'' Judai commands as his HERO fires the spheres, creating new ones like bullets. The spheres all fired and hit Szayelaporro. He gasps through each blow, stunned as a card in his hand vanishes. This continues until all of his cards are sent to the GY and his Life Points drop down to 1000.
Ed can't believe what he's seeing; Judai actually causes real damage. Szayelaporro breathes heavily, gazing with a murderous gaze towards his opponent. To think he could do this much damage but now it's all pointless. He can still-
''Next Acid Neos gains 400 ATK for each card sent this way plus 400 for each card in my hand!'' Judai then announces that Acid Neos shoots up to 5800 ATK. That causes the Espada to widen his eyes, panicking in grim terror. Has he… HAS HE LOST?!
''Finish this, Acid Neos.'' Judai commands as Acid Neos dashes forward, flying right at Verum Finis who launches its tentacles at the hero. Acid Neos flies around the tentacles, unfazed before flying right above it. He moves both arms downward towards the massive tentacle creature, forming a much larger sphere of boiling, purple energy water. He then focuses the sphere to surround its body.
''GO! Super Acid Explosion!'' Judai shouts as Acid Neos flies downward, entrapped by its sphere. It moves with unseen speed before he blitzes right through the Myutant that as soon as it hits it, the sphere glows and releases a destructive acid explosion. The blast consumes and vaporizes the Myutant as well as consume Szayelaporro in the blast, sending him flying back.
''DAAMMN…'' He screams with a horrific, defeated face as he falls behind his back. His Life Points finally hit zero as Acid Neos emerges from the explosion and flies back to stand beside Judai.
Duel Screen: Winner... Judai Yuki: 2000LP vs. Szayelaporro Grantz: 0LP
Uryu, Renji and Pesche can't believe it while Danny and Ed both sigh, both worrying for nothing.
Judai breathes deeply as Acid Neos fades away before he smiles and declares while doing his signature finger hand pose. ''Gotcha. That was a great duel!''
"… Oh thank god it's done!" Dondochakka expresses loudly, lying on the ground on his back, overwhelmed by what he just experienced. Pesche also nods, astonished by whatever he just witnessed.
''Impossible…'' Standing up only to drop to his knees, Szayelaporro utters with a voice of disbelief. He had the whole duel in his control, kept his Life Points at 4000 and made sure his opponent couldn't use his full power. This… this makes no sense!
''This whole duel was under my control. How?!'' He questions, his composure failing him. Walking forward calmly, Judai tells him with a small smile. ''Simple: You underestimate me.''
This touches a nerve, causing Szayelaporro to stand up as he begins laughing.
''YOU THINK SO?!'' He questions loudly with a crazy smirk. ''I can still kill every one of you!''
Danny panics with Ed sighing, figuring this was going to happen.
''Told you this duel was pointless in the end!'' Szayelaporro proclaims as his Fraccións surround everyone. Judai looks around him and whistles, still oddly calm to the Espada's confusion. Why is he calm? He should be trembling in fear… unless.
''No, it stalled us for time.'' Judai openly reveals with a smirk. Szayelaporro raises an eyebrow, questioning. ''Stall? Stall for-''
''GRAVITY, PLEASE!'' A familiar mechanical-like voice announces as the walls of the whole room begin to quiver and shake violently, flatting both the Espada and his Fraccions on the ground. This surprises everyone with Danny recognizing that voice and sound. ''That jingle?! It's-''
Leaping out from the hole already made, it's Haruto with a small smile.
Everyone is silent with Judai snickering. ''Told you I had a plan.''
Ichigo narrows her eyes, smirking, as she stares at the 3 Besties as they were all playing Goldfish. She already had the winning hand but she wants one of them. At least none of them are changing the style of the game unlike Pudding.
Each Arrancar hesitates to make a move with Apacci being the first to say, questionable, as she reveals her hand. ''Gold… fish?''
Mila Rose growls while Sung-Sun lets out a sigh, upsetly. Apacci soon grins and lets out an excited yell, mocking her comrades. ''SUCK IT SUNG, MILA! I'M DAMN BETTER THAN BOTH OF YOU!''
Ichigo sweat drops, recalling how she acted like that in a friendly game of Poker with the girls. Next time, she'll be much humbler compared to this.
''May we call a Rematch?'' Sung then asks Ichigo with Mila Rose demanding eagerly. ''REMATCH, MORON!''
Ichigo smiles though sweat drops.
Just then Tier returns from the meeting as the 3 Arrancars spot her and stand up in a panic, proclaiming with respect. ''Harribel-sama!''
''How was the meeting? Did it go well.'' Sung asks calmly.
"…'' Harribel doesn't answer her, conflicted by the command Aizen gave her. Ichigo approaches her and smiles, asking her happily. ''Want to play goldfish with us Nya?''
''…'' Tier looks at her still silent. Is she capable of killing her? If she doesn't, it will doom her girls. Can she do this or… is there a way?
''… I need you to disappear.'' Making up her mind, Tier proclaims with a somber voice. Everyone startled when she said that.
''… Nya?'' Ichigo utters, extremely nervously as she sweats in terror.
Is Ichigo about to die? Will the others be able to best Szayelaporro?

When this card battles an opponent's monster: Banish it at the end of the Damage Step. If your opponent activates a Spell, Trap or Monster Effect or activation; negate the activation. This effect can be used 3 times per turn but cannot negate the same Card Type this same turn. Author's Note: … First, it is so dumb that this is happening but let's faces it… Szayelaporro would play along with a duel if it meant he can ''experiment'' and make his test subjects suffer. Big mistake though.
Also I wanted to give this duel to someone so why not Judai? Paid off. Plus, yea, the Philosopher's Stone – Sabatiel is slowly reawakening its lost power. ALSO HOW? EH… Judai is technically now the Supreme King and wields Yubel's power as part Duel Monster so he's strong enough to revive its power. Not complete though, yet.
I picked Myutant's for Szayelaporro since it feels like the best deck for a mad genius like him plus I wanted it to be Fusion related and not a cooler deck like Invoked for reasons.
Also Starrk may have made a friend… but will his loyalty for Aizen surpass this friendship?
Anyway, next time is the climax against Szayelaporro!
