Prompt: "Are you clinically insane or incredibly annoying?"

"I don't know probably both."

This mastermind was most definitely going to be the death of her, Pru had officially decided. Only Nathan Ford would get stuck in the middle of a bank heist (in the middle of a con, none the less), figure out that something was hinky with it, and decide to try to help the robbers. If she hadn't been with Eliot when he'd gotten to the Clarks' house and seen the scene that the kidnappers had left, Pru would probably be even more pissed about the situation, but she was just over it by now.

She and Eliot were still in the Clarks' house when Nate and Sophie began talking to Michael and Derrick, respectively. Nate actually seemed to be keeping the kid, Michael, calm. "It's not too late, Michael. That's right. You can still save her. Do you know who took her?"

"It's all my fault. They think that I did it. They left a note, said that they wanted a hundred grand by five o'clock, or they'd kill her."

"Well, we're not going to let that happen. Okay? But you have to trust me, and you have to do exactly what I say."

Pru scoffed as she and Eliot continued to look around the Clarks' house. They continued quietly looking around as they listened to Nate and Sophie's ongoing conversations over comms. Pru stopped suddenly when she heard Nate say, "No, Michael. No, not that money. We have an alternate revenue source."

Eliot and Pru shared a look as they heard Alec ask, "Is he suggesting what I think he's suggesting?"

Parker chimed in then. "Are you suggesting what we think you're suggesting? You want to give our bad money to some other bad guys?"

"Yes, that is exactly what I'm suggesting we do. But we're going to so it without blowing our covers, gang."

Eliot chimed in then. "Maybe I'm just dense, Nate, but your alternate revenue source is sitting two feet from 'Boss Hogg' himself in the middle of a bank that's surrounded by a bunch of cops."

Pru sighed before speaking up herself. "They're all right, Nate. Are you clinically insane or just incredibly annoying?"

She heard the mastermind scoff. "I don't know, probably both. And I didn't say that it was going to be easy. But nothing's impossibly, especially when you have the world's greatest thief on your payroll. Parker, have you ever robbed a bank that's being robbed?"

Pru scoffed again and tuned out the continuing conversation, deciding to return to processing the house. Eliot would catch her up on the plan once it was settled. That mastermind really was going to be the death of her.
