Just to practice and for fun.
Summary; Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny got their hands on the NerveGears and a copy of Sword Art Online, thanks to Kenny who won a contest. When they logged in, at first, they were very excited and enjoying the best moment in their hot lives. However, all the fun and the excitement of this game crumbled as Akihiko Kayaba announced the Death Game; players cannot log out and should they die in the game, they die in real life. Now, they must do whatever it takes to survive this dreaded Death Game.
"What the hell are you guys doing? Don't tell me you're just gonna sit around and do nothing?" Cartman asked his friends who were sitting on the edge of the fountain.
"Dude, what do you expect? If we go outside of town and fight monsters, one of us will die and will die in real life. We can't take risks." Stab retorted.
"There's nothing we can do. What's the point?" Kyle asked.
"The point is; there's an asshole who made this world, keeping us from getting out and playing with our lives, thinking that he's God! We can't let him get away with this!" Cartman exclaimed in anger. He didn't like the idea of being trapped by a God-complex bastard.
"Well, what do you want to do? Playing by his rules?" Kyle asked.
"If surviving in this world means following his rules… then so be it. We can beat him at his own rules, his own game!" Cartman proclaimed. "If he wants us to play along then we'll give him one! We'll play his game, surviving every obstacle and battle until we finally reach the last Floor! Then we can finally be out of this Godforsaken death trap world."
Stan, Kyle and Kenny look at each other, Cartman did have a point.
"And you don't want to take risks? What about all the situations we were in? And all those times we've prevailed and are alive today?" Cartman refers to all the adventures that the four of them went through, many of which they risked their lives many times.
Then Stan said. "Even if we did start right away, it took the Beta Testers a long time to reach the first floors. They even said it took like two months to reach Floor 2."
"Ah, but that was during the Beta Testing and the very first time they ever played a VR game they took their sweet time enjoying it. But right now, some players take this Death Game seriously and are working hard to achieve their goal of getting stronger, in preparation for the floor Boss Raid. So there's no time for enjoyment." Cartman said. "Guys, we are in an RPG video game world. We have the advantage. The game makes us powerhouses thanks to the level system, status customization and Skill System. We need to become higher levels, maybe even surpass that of the Floor Boss."
"Well, that's true…" Kyle begins to see the point, the virtual world literally makes every player superhuman thanks to the system. "But I've heard rumours that all the former Beta Testers have left town first and taken all the best quests and hunting grounds, we're at a disadvantage."
"Right, those selfish assholes took all the best grinding spots and quests. But do you guys remember when we played World of Warcraft?" Cartman asked. That's when the boys remember their time playing WoW, when a player went on killing people's characters and they took it upon themselves to beat him by levelling up into higher levels by killing weaker mobs every day of many hours… resulting in them becoming bibble-faced obese as a price.
"What about it?" Stan asked.
"We do the same thing here. We stay at the spot where the Frenzy Boars are generating and killing them." Cartman answered.
"Frenzy Boars?" Stan repeated. While it is true that Frenzy Boars are the weakest mobs in SAO and when they first get their first kill, they've gained bigger rewards.
"Dude, this isn't World of Warcraft. Is not like we can sit and play all day, every day." Kyle retorted. "This world has made everything feel realistic, we can feel exhaustion, fatigue, hunger and sleepiness. Also, the equipment here has durability that could break at any moment. Do you know the kind of patience and the amount of money we must have to reach that goal?"
"Try to remember back then, Kyle. Back when we play World of Warcraft. We played for many days, clicking on the keyboards and mouse, killing all those boars in order to become high-level and to take down that asshole. Those amount of experiences taught us something; perseverance pays off."
Kyle was silent again, so did Stan and Kyle. The end result of their countless hours and days of grinding with so little break was worth it.
"You guys can stay here and waste your days as many players go on to try to clear it, or you can move your virtual butts and unsheathed your swords, and make something that matters." Cartman said.
(Cue Live to Win by Paul Stanley)
We see the four boys walking on the plains, side by side, heading towards where the Frenzy Boars are. Once they spotted them, they unsheathed their swords and charged at them. Their swords glow, activating the Sword Skills.
Live to win, 'till you die, 'till the light dies in your eyes!
Live to win, take it all, just keep fighting till you fall!
The boys attack the Frenzy Boars, slashing, thrusting, and piercing, resulting in the mobs dying and bursting into pixels. Stan stabs one Frenzy Boar and slashes out. Kyle slashes down one boar on the head. Kenny dodged one Frenzy Boar before stabbing on the head. Cartman swung his sword sending the Frenzy Boar away.
Day by day, kickin' all the way, I'm not cavin' in
Let another round begin, live to win
During the sunset, they continue killing the Frenzy Boars, suddenly a Leveled Up Window appears in front of Kenny. The nighttime arrived as they continued. They went back to town, selling the drops from the mobs and paying for new weapons, and went back to the field to kill again. The numbers on a digital calendar changed as days passed.
Yeah!
They kill in the day.
Live!
They kill at dawn.
Yeah!
They kill at night.
Win!
They kill in the day.
Then a party of several older players were walking back until they spotted the boys from afar.
"Those kids are easily killing those Frenzy Boars."
"I've seem them before. They've been killing those monsters forseveral hours none stop."
Live to win, 'till you die, 'till the light dies in your eyes
On the next day, the boys were killing the Frenzy Boars when suddenly Kyle's sword broke.
"Dude, my other sword broke!" Kyle called out.
"We'll keep them occupied, switch to a new sword!" Cartman said slashing a boar.
Live to win, take it all, just keep fighting 'till you fall
They've taken a short break eating loath of bread, satisfying their virtual hunger. They went back to killing the boars and collecting experience points.
Day by day, kickin' all the way, I'm not cavin' in
Let another round begin, live to win
Meanwhile, a party led by a blue-haired man was exploring the dungeon, the man seemed confident. Then a black-haired boy was killing Dire Wolves. A hooded figure was holding a rapier.
Then we see the boys leave the Town of Beginning going back to the hunting ground after purchasing. They kill Frenzy Boars again.
Live to win
Stan and Kyle killed three Boars each at the same time.
Live to win
Cartman and Kenny swung their swords as pixels fly off.
Then all four, each on corner, swung their swords in their respectful colours Sword Skill, struck the Frenzy Boars.
Yeah, win.
The boys lowered their swords, as the Result Windows appeared on their faces, indicated that they leveled up as Cartman raise his fist.
Since South Park's episode, Make Love, Not Warcraft, is one of the most popular episodes ever made and the montage scene was awesome, and in it's own humorist way. So I figure I did a little crossover scene with Sword Art Online.
And with that, I won't be on a computer for weeks during my vacation. Have a nice summer!
