OK, we are now in chapter 4, and this is the second part of the custody battle part of the story. In the last chapter, we got to see what happened. I'll tell you what happened in the last chapter in just a minute this chapter is all about the custody part, Scarlet and Luther fight to get custody of AC to make them his make that make him their own and keep him safe from Oliver. All right, then let us continue.
And once again, this is a mixed chapter.
Last time, Scarlett and Luther rescued AC from the clutches of Oliver's mansion from Crane's mansion and took him up to ion he lost his memories. Now they are gonna try and fight for custody for AC safety. Can they do it? Let's see let's read this chapter and find out shall we and I know you'll enjoy it. It's kinda like part two of the other chapter so I hope you like it.
Scarlett
We've been here for at least a few weeks. She thought Porsche told us it would take a few days, but we've been here a while. It's been really difficult because Oliver was being difficult. He would let us take custody of AC and we were fighting it we kept fighting with him. He wasn't responsible enough to keep him hard we got to stay in for a long time and Luther got to be closer and got to get a little more and more and me too. We got to spend a longer time but still, I don't think we can stay any longer. I said we leave here. He safer here with you Porsche when we come back next time or whatever you send us a letter will be back soon of course said Porsche you need to get back to Ion. We'll see you later. OK, I said I took Luther's hand. Luther said goodbye to Ash. Ash hugged him and hugged me too. He asked when we would be back soon I said, and we'll take you and only Home with us, but we will come and see you you little precious thing, he smiled OK Miss Scarlet, he said.
AC also told him that he'll be back to see him. I'll be back to see you too. He says we'll be good friends, Ash, not I didn't hug him too. OK, you're staying here AC you're not coming back with us right now you can stay and hang out with Ash, oh really OK? I'm staying with you, little buddy. He says mild again. Goodbye. Goodbye.
Why did he do this? I said as a question Luther we went back up to ion I teleported us back up. Why does Oliver do anything like this Luther side well I said it's not gonna be easy to take cash. I mean Ash, but take a is our no but we're gonna win because we're more responsible right Scarlet I noted and hugged him yes my precious darling now let us get some rest.
And we did we were back on ion where it was safe. We rested for a while and waited for that all-important letter and we could bring home with us. Oh, dear, we didn't think that you'd have to be here in Lyle. I think you'll be fine. Lyle will not be affected. It doesn't affect us either precious that is true. It doesn't. It's just an eerie presence here. I just wish we were home in Ravenswood instead of here. I said we'll go to Ravenswood for a while, darling. Once we ditch Riley I'm able to get a lease. How long will that be? Hopefully, not long before that happens. We will not have Riley giving blood to this place anymore. We just have to wait till ashes and we will be out of here, we'll take Ash with us and we will live our lives in Ravenswood for a while until the guild my darling the guild is already here we had to travel to the guild and back here, and Oliver has control of the guild Luther said again we had to stay here because of Riley I know I know I said It's just I wish we had our own lives. We won't be able to go home to your home in Ravenswood because of the guild my darling will go home go to Ravenswood and visit your father as much as we can doing rules and saying we can't I know we've been visiting my father from time to time. So hasn't been there in a while. I have no idea where he is, but I know he hasn't been in Ravenswood. We've checked there already and Father says he's not there. It's not as good at least.
Maybe we should go visit sometime I nodded. Does that mean we can not today we'll go visit sometime precious I know you need to see your father. I know that he knew that too. He knew my dad from time to time so we will he promised that.
And that's what we do from time to time, but not today like we said we rested.
We've been on a long trip today to Orem Hala and we were there for a long time so we needed to rest.
Rest and wait for the letter from Porsche to tell us when we need to come back once we win this AC will be ours and we will take care of him. He will be our child.
And we will be his parents Have someone to love it's not Ash, but it'll be something that doesn't mean we won't still see him. We'll go and see Ash too. We do have full custody of him too. It's just not safe for Ash to be here with us right now.
Because of Riley, it's that's the reason once Riley is gone we can leave when we don't need her. We're gonna leave this place. We have to travel to the guild and back and forth. We can't float over the guild and keep it safe from the crane Timecrest guild. We can't fly over right now. We can only protect one place at a time and Lyle is the only place we can protect right now once our protection leaves this place you will figure out a way to kill it and kill this place but we'll take the Elden because they're innocent Riley alone. Yes, leaving Riley alone will be the best thing it would it would.
And we'll get Elise the power ion for us should be willing to do more than Riley, and once we are done with her, we will never be done with Annelise. She will be ours too not our child, but we would take care of Elise. She would give blood for ion for us and we'll take care of her. I will be even more pure to be purer than ever, and Ash will be happy because Elise will be here, but letting Elise still go see Porsche will not let her not see at all. She would know that if she's not given blood, she can go and visit Porsche and then come back. It'll be fine for her to teleport said she would she would be glad as long as she said she could so we will keep her safe as well and that's what we would do if it means keeping Ash safe that would be flying over the guild once again to flying over the guild. Well, that'll be better than anywhere else.
Luther
We waited for a while and we were a little impatient. We had to wait at least a few weeks will be going down when it's not one of our schedule ties but when it does when that letter goes, we'll go once that happens we will go and get a Porsche said we have a good chance because we were more responsible and saved AC from death or worse, memory deletion of my creation. Porsche says that we're more responsible than crane because of it so we will do it. I know Oliver won't be happy, but what are we supposed to do? Can't leave a child in trouble. That's just not me and Scarlet at all, even without my emotions I would never leave a child alone, and I'll have to come and live with us. That will be wonderful.
It won't be long. It is five more years and Ash will be living with us five more years and Ash will be ours too. I can't wait for that day. Our family will be home once again. I won't have my parents, but I have right. I have Scarlet. I was about to say I had Riley, but Riley is evil and I'll have a Scarlet and I could have children of her day says just give it time that would be nice. Was happy to a little and wanted to run around the house she said this is going to be great. The child is so adorable. She was very nice to me and Folger, he was here for a bit. Here would be great for us too. You'll let us know when you're master sends us a letter right I asked Porsche Pora. Oh yes, master will tell me. She said this is not something I wouldn't keep away from you. Luther from you and Scarlet. No way no way would keep this information from me she said. Nothing exciting like this not exciting thing like this would keep keeping away from us.
Finally, the day came when we got our letter. It said you're approved. You are authorized to have the child as your own. You can come down to Orem Hall soon to sign the paperwork. It was a long and hard process, but we finally got Crane to cave to it not happy that you took custodian ship from him, he would want something in return Ash oh no we left and went down to Orem to see what Porsche wanted us to do. We watched everything and we teleported down to our Hala welcome to Orem Hala and Blood Moon Haven Porsche said Ash to us and hugged us and ruffled his hair and hugged him close to my sibling I said brother he said this is a business trip down here now today, but I'll come back again. I promise Ash Knotted was still hugging me come on. Scarlet said we both need to do this, but why don't you come with us or why don't you play with AC for a moment he did not want to do that.
OK, Ash said I'll do that for now. Good I said and Scarlet said to the one AC needs to come with us for a moment then he can play with you before we leave.
Then we went into Porsche study. The paperwork was already crane already signed his half. The only thing he wanted in return was with the head, guild master of the guild, which was not a big deal to us we agreed and signed that part then we signed our names and then signed his name, and we won we had full custody now of AC he's our kid now and that's all that matters. We took a home with us to ion he was safe now and that's all that matters.
Scarlet
We did it we won once everything was done. We left again. We told Ash would be back again too that AC would be with us and he'd come and play anytime. He told Ash I will come back and play with you anytime we're friends now we're more than friends now smiled too now let us go Alistair Timecrest. I said to him, he smiled teleported, and we were back on the ion.
We are now back home. We set up his room now the room that we put him in when he came we set it up there now you have a room of your own and in five years Ash will live here too. That sounds great. He said that'll be nice. Well, yes, will be a family. And we will leave this place this creepy town. I said to him he smiled leave creepy town awesome where we go next probably fly over the guild more than likely sounds good. That'll be fun and you can join the guild later. I'd love that he said, but I have no magic you can be a fighter there I suggested, OK he said that'll be good too.
But all the paperwork wasn't complete it was complete for ours, but not everything was complete. It's also a trial period for us to take care of AC. I think that's what these paperwork were even if it was even though we won this battle we still haven't won the whole thing that doesn't mean that all is gonna fight back, this paperwork for a trial run then that will be taken care of soon. Will win though I know we will.
This will be at least for a few years at least three years that'll be fine and that's what we will do and that's what we did. It took us at least three years, but through the trials we made it we won. It took us three years. We beat Oliver and now is ours completely. It's been three years now three years since we brought him home three years for the trial that we had for him and now we have one young Alistair who was now about 11 or 12 or 10 1112 that was nice and we won.
We won we won we won the Cassidy we won the custody battle. Now we have won this. This was easy.
It wasn't but it was we got this and we won. We told AC now was ours and they never had to worry about being hurt by his brother ever again we would love and take care of them. I said Luther and I will take care of you and you will go and see Ash with us, that became close and that is good too.
Especially now that they're relatives that helps a lot now and it makes us happy too.
And Pora and Foulger as well they were happy to live up in, and that was good as well.
We signed the custody papers. We signed the adoption papers. Legally AC is now ours and that is good for us.
Ending here I think it's a good ending for this chapter. Yes, I know it jumped a few years ago, but that's OK. We need that to happen a little jump at least a few years in the next chapter. We will jump another few years, but I'm not gonna give you any details of what happens next. I'll see you then OK See you in chapter 5 soon.
