"Ugh, this assignment is so boring," Ennui sighed. "Does our math teacher have anything better to do than torture us with algebra problems?"

"We're not even planning on doing anything with math!" Anxiety added. "Why give us these horrible problems when they're completely useless? All of these panic attacks for nothing..."

"How about we take a break and answer some of the questions that just came in?" Joy suggested.

"That would be nice," Disgust said. "We need a break from numbers and letters."

"Perfect!" Joy cheered. "Let's get to it! This is for Disgust from movieman0215. I hate to say it Dis, but it's a dare."

"What an absolute SHOCKER," Disgust shouted. "So much for a break..."

"Remember that time when you had to dress as Envy?" Joy asked.

"That was awesome!" Envy commented.

"No it wasn't," Disgust scowled. "But yes I remember."

"You have to dress as Anxiety this time!" Joy announced, showing a duplicate of Anxiety's outfit that was sent.

Disgust took a look at the outfit, as if critiquing it. "Even though orange is not my color, I'll let this one slide."

"Y-You actually like my outfit?" Anxiety questioned with excitement and anticipation.

"Yeah, it suits you," Disgust complimented.

"W-Why thank you..." Anxiety smiled.

Disgust walked away to change.

"I wish she complimented me like that..." Envy complained.

"How about you read the next question, Anxiety?" Joy handed the orange emotion the next card.

"Ok..." Anxiety read. "Fear, by Dylan Wilson, what are your thoughts on..." She gasped. "...Cartoon Cat?"

"Scary!" Fear trembled. "Especially those eyes. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and that thing just stares into your soul!"

Anxiety screamed.

"Oh give me a break!" Anger face-palmed. "It's not even real!"

"I hope not..." Fear quavered. "O-Ok...Joy, from a guest. What's the strangest place you've ever been?"

"Definitely the Subconscious," Joy answered. "Imagine being in a place where everything you're afraid of is kept in!"

"Nope, never going in there!" Fear said.

"Ennui, from Orangebird124," Joy read. "Would you rather watch Caillou or Peppa Pig?"

"At least Caillou has better animation," Ennui snarled. "A three year old can draw better than what those people did for Peppa Pig."

"But that whiny, bald 4 year old is the most spoiled, annoying child in the world!" Anger barked.

"True," Ennui agreed. "I guess I'll go with Peppa Pig."

"Joy, please don't start singing anything..." Anxiety asked nicely.

"Ahhh ok..." the yellow emotion sighed.

There was stepping heard and Disgust was seen in her matching Anxiety outfit.

"Wow..." Anxiety stared in awe.

"You look amazing!" Envy squealed.

"I never thought I would see someone wearing my outfit," Anxiety giggled. "But I like it on you, Disgust."

"I appreciate it, even though I'm still upset that I got yet another dare," Disgust said.

"Sadness, from TheL-iteral1," Ennui said. "Do you need your glasses due to nearsightedness or farsightedness?"

"I have farsightedness," Sadness said. "Which means I can't see things close up. I need my glasses to read the Manuals."

"I didn't even know emotions could have visual problems," Fear commented.

"Anxiety, from LukyBrad," Sadness said. "What is the thing that most scares you?"

"Loneliness," Anxiety answered. "Whether it's at school, at a job, at a party, dying alone... It's so scary to think about!"

"We're only a teenager," Disgust retorted. "We're not even close to thinking about our death yet."

"You know I think about the future a lot!" Anxiety defended herself. "Anyway...Joy, from Molly Engh, what are your thoughts on Shiloh and Bros?"

"I think they're cool!" Joy said. "I really liked the Five Night's at Freddy's in real life video!"

"Not me," Fear and Anxiety said in unison.

"Envy, from a guest," Joy read. "Would you rather live in a shady treehouse or a candy shop?"

"Treehouses sound cool but they can be a bit small," Envy said. "But living with unlimited candy?! That would be awesome!"

"And a quick trip to diabetes," Disgust added, rolling her eyes.

"Embarrassment, from a guest, would you rather play hide and seek or Jenga?" Envy asked.

"Jenga," the pink emotion said. "I can't really hide anywhere for hide and seek. I'm too big..."

"You'd be a good seeker, that's for sure!" Joy smiled.

Embarrassment giggled bashfully. "For everyone by Rodimus973," he said. "What are your biggest regrets?"

"Being too controlling," Joy and Anxiety said at the same time. They looked at each other and smiled.

"Being mean to Bree and Grace," Envy sighed in shame.

"Touching so many memories that weren't meant to be sad..." Sadness sniffled.

"I definitely regret that stupid runaway idea," Anger scowled.

"And I regret agreeing to that idea," Disgust added.

"I guess I shouldn't have made Riley that sarcastic towards Get Up and Glow," Ennui confessed.

"I regret all the times I've caused Riley to wake up from being scared," Fear said. "It causes her to not sleep well and be in a bad mood."

"Not talking so much," Embarrassment said.

"Yeah, we've all made mistakes," Joy said. "But we've all agreed that we are all important for Riley."

Everyone smiled and nodded as Joy got the next card.

"Fear, this is from lucia.1989cesp," Joy read. "If there was any situation of death and you had to sacrifice your life to save one of your fellow emotions, who would you sacrifice yourself for and why?"

"That's a tough question," Fear said. "I would sacrifice myself for all of you guys, trust me. But I would have to pick you, Joy."

"Why thank you," Joy replied.

"Sadness, from a guest," Fear read. "Any books that make you cry?"

"Charlotte's Web is very sad..." Sadness cried. "Riley read that when she was 9. It made her cry..."

"But it's still an inspirational story," Joy said.

"Yeah..." Sadness wiped her eyes. "This is to the new emotions from FrozenTinkerbellPotter-Lover15. Where exactly did you come from? Did you spawn in the Mind World and waited/wandered around until Riley hit puberty? I'm wondering because Nostalgia seemed to spawn early and came to Headquarters before you told her she was too early."

"There's almost sort of like a lobby for new emotions," Anxiety said. "When we're in the lobby, it's like watching a movie. You're watching everything go on. That is until you feel it's the right time for you to come in."

"Nostalgia thinks it's her time, even though she's a bit early," Envy added. "She's just a little old lady. She likes to wander off sometimes."

"Were you guys in that lobby for like, Riley's whole life?" Disgust inquired.

"Oh no, we came in later," Anxiety said. "Maybe when Riley turned 11? I don't remember."

"Joy, from Orangebird124," Envy said. "Can you do a cartwheel?"

"Of course!" Joy grinned, starting to do a bunch of cartwheels around HQ. She even managed to do some on the console. "I love cartwheels!"

"That just made me dizzy..." Sadness muttered.

"Disgust, this is from WriterofBliss," Joy read. "Have you talked to Lance at all lately?"

"Of course," Disgust smiled. "I visit him every now and then but most of the time we write to each other."

"I didn't even know he could even write," Joy said, not very pleased.

"Oh, his writing is amazing," Disgust sighed romantically. "It's basically calligraphy. It's perfect, just like him."

"Awww..." Envy beamed with googly-eyes.

"Anger," Disgust read. "From TheL-iteral1. What's your favorite music genre?"

"I love me some good rock n roll!" Anger grinned with excitement. "Especially AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin...I miss when music was like this!"

"Me too," Joy agreed. "Dad raised us well!"

"For all of us," Anger said. "What's our favorite Pixar movies?"

"The Incredibles is the best!" Joy answered.

"Wall-E is very sad..." Sadness sighed. "Imagine our planet being this destroyed because of us..."

"It will be like that if we keep trashing our planet," Disgust explained. "Anyway, I like the Toy Story movies."

"I like Finding Nemo," Anxiety said. "As mentioned before, I'm very similar to Marlin."

"Ratatouille has kept me interested," Ennui said.

"You actually look like the food critic, Wee Wee," Envy giggled.

"And you look like one of the rats," the bored emotion clapped back.

Envy blew raspberries at the disinterested emotion, then answered, "Anyway, my favorite is probably Coco!"

"Even though I don't like sea monsters, I like the movie Luca," Fear said.

"Cars is awesome!" Anger commented. "Especially the soundtrack!"

"I like Elemental," Embarrassment said.

"Great choices guys!" Joy said happily. "But we gotta get back to our homework."

"Ugh, homework should be illegal!" Anger shouted.

"What if we never finish it?" Anxiety panicked. "What if we forgot everything we just learned because of that break we had? What if-"

"That's why we have notes, genius," Ennui interrupted.

"What if we just cheated?" Envy suggested. "That guy from our math class showed us that app-"

"Nope! No cheating!" Fear rejected. "That's us asking for trouble!"

"But we're not even at school-"

"Remember Envy," Joy said to the tiny emotion. "That's not who Riley is."

Envy sighed in regret and nodded.

All of a sudden, a memory was recalled and Riley was heard humming the Peppa Pig theme song while getting back into the homework.

Anger bursted with flames.

"We're never gonna get this done," Ennui sighed, regretting her Peppa Pig choice.
