Chapter 136: The Journey's End Part 3: Restoring Balance
Everyone was completely chocked up, seeing that their journey was a success and their friend was back, standing in front of them while he prepared himself for the battle of a lifetime, smiling at Dark Gaia while the dark entity got ready for him to make the first move, though heavily damaged, he was ready to fight. Without saying anything, Twilight ran over and bumped into Spyro, taking him by surprise, but when he looked down, he saw that she was hugging him, tears rolling down her face as he was so happy he was back.
"Spyro, you're back!" Twilight exclaimed, hugging him as hard as she could.
"Heh, good to see you too little bookworm." Spyro said, hugging her back.
"How revoltingly sweet." Dark Gaia said, getting their attention. "It makes me want to gag!"
"That's because you got no romance pal." Spyro replied, Twilight letting him go. "For a long time, my friends fought, bled, and suffered to find my Heart Pieces, wishing for me to come back and now, now their journey is complete and they have brought me back. If that isn't love, then nothing is."
"I care not for love you hopeless mortal!" Dark Gaia exclaimed. "This world will be destroyed, the final world connected to your heart will be destroyed, Equestria will be destroyed! There is nothing you can do to stop me! Now... DIE!"
Dark Gaia unleashed a barrage of tendrils of dark magic, the mist of darkness reaching out to absorb everyone, much to their horror, but Spyro just smiled, lifting up his left arm and a moment later, the tendrils wrapped around his arm, not being affected by their power, much to Dark Gaia shock, horror, and dismay, while everyone was shocked by what he just did, the dark tendrils going into his arm and not being affected by them.
"You really didn't pay attention, did you?" Spyro asked, his arm glowing with the dark energy. "Do you know who you're messing with? If not, let me give you a reminder." He lifted his hand up and unleashed a torrent of dark magic towards Dark Gaia, hitting him in the chest and making him yell in agony as he fell into the water. "I'm the Prince of Light and Darkness baby."
Dark Gaia then got out of the water, furious that Spyro had hit him with his own attack again, so he got up and unleashed a flurry of dark energy attacks towards him, everyone seeking shelter from the barrage, but Spyro just stood there, smiling as he raised his Keyblade and started blocking and deflecting all of the different attacks, redirecting the blasts to random directions while stopping some of them as well, smiling as he blocked, dodged and redirected until Dark Gaia ended his barrage, glaring at Spyro. He then tried to use his tentacles and lashed out, slamming the ground to hit him, but Spyro just blocked and dodged the attacks, flipping and jumping around like he was in a bouncy house, getting on Dark Gaia's nerve.
"Tentacles!?" Spyro exclaimed, blocking an attack. "Buddy I've seen enough anime to know where this is going and I'm not having any part of it!"
"SILENCE!" Dark Gaia shouted.
He then unleashed a massive stream of energy at Spyro, hoping it would be enough to stop him, but instead, Spyro just raised his hand and when it connected, the energy was disbursed into smaller pieces of energy, the beam disappearing and showing that Spyro was unaffected by it and still smiling as he approached the edge.
"That the best you got fish food?" Spyro asked.
Enraged, Dark Gaia shot out of the water and revealed more of itself, roaring in pure anger as he released another barrage of energy blasts, but this time Spyro leapt into the air and a moment later, his wings appeared from purple flames, but he didn't have four wings like he last did, but instead he had two wings, dark purple with the orange membrane as usual. He flew into the air as the barrage seemingly followed him, trying t hit him, but he just spun and tilted himself in different directions, avoiding the attacks as they passed by him and hit the water instead, making massive explosions in the water before he dove down towards Dark Gaia, who was ready for him, but unfortunately for him, Spyro threw his Keyblade and as it spun towards the dark deity, it was surrounded by a lot of dark and light magic, creating a yin-yang effect as it hit the dark monster, making it scream in agony as it caused dozens of explosions to go across it's entire body, making it fall into the water before it got back up.
"I'll admit, I underestimated you." Dark Gaia said. "But your friends I know are not strong enough to defeat me and will die!"
He turned to the island and released a massive bolt of power towards the island, much to his surprise, so he flew in the direction of Angle Island as fast as he could, outrunning the bam of energy and blocking it, making it scatter in dozens of directions as it disappeared, Spyro just flying there, starring down Dark Gaia while everyone was watching.
"Holy cow!" Sonic said. "This guy's, he's incredible!"
"Sonic!" Tails said, having a small device in his hand. "I've been analyzing all the energy used in this fight and this guys overall power is through the roof! My analyzer is having a hard time keeping up with him!" As he said it, the machine started to bug out, lights flashing across it's screen and it;s buttons before it shorted out, electricity shooting across it as smoke came out, forcing Tails to drop the device and let it explode, surprising him. "Make that impossible to keep up."
"None of your fancy-shmanzy doodads are going to keep up with how powerful Spyro is!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "This guy is literally a powerhouse!"
"You said it!" Spike said, finally coming out of hiding. "If there's one guy you can count on to lay down a beating and not break a sweat, it's Spyro!"
"You can't keep on protecting them forever." Dark Gaia said. "Sooner or later, you're going to slip up and they will pay the price. Face it, your highness, you can't be in two places at once, even with your powers, you can't keep this up forever! I hold the power of ten worlds that I destroyed and I will destroy this world and the world that is still holding on and once I do, the universe will be mine!"
He unleashed another flurry of attacks, releasing lasers, dark missiles, flames, and every other attack he had on him to destroy Spyro, his friends, and the island, connecting and creating a massive wall of smoke until he was finished, panting heavily as he believed that he succeeded, ready to leave and finish what he started.
"Yeah, that's the same line every maniacal intergalactic warlord uses and they all end up getting their rears handed to them." Spyro replied, shocking Dark Gaia as he turned to see the smoke clearing up and revealing Spyro was still flying in the air, unaffected by the attack as there wasn't even a speck of dirt on him, making Dark Gaia back away. "You won't be any different."
"How!?" Dark Gaia asked. "I put everything I had into that attack! How did you survive!?" He didn't answer, but instead looked to his right, which Dark Gaia looked where he was looking as did the ponies and saw, to their surprise a cyan colored circle with the head of a bear in the center of it, the smoke clearing to reveal more circles and each with a symbol, matching the ones that were on the book, confusing everyone. "What is this!? What's going on!?"
"You destroyed ten worlds as you said, but you didn't destroy the heart." Spyro replied, the circles moving to have the symbols face the sky and the sea. "Each world has a heart, a heart in which everyone is connected to. Even if the body crumbles, the heart will survive." A second later, everyone the ponies met appeared on the circles, Kenai, Miguel, Mirabel, Quasimodo, everyone they met appeared on the circles, looking furious as they looked at Dark Gaia, making him back away. "All you did was destroy the worlds, trying to absorb everyone on those worlds and the hearts of those worlds. But your plan didn't work. All you did was throw this universe off balance and made yourself weaker, not stronger."
"What do you mean by weaker!?" Dark Gaia exclaimed. "I have never been stronger! I have grown to become a god! I am-" Before he could continue, he felt a sudden sharp pain in his stomach, yelling in pain when he looked down, finding that there were ten lights bouncing around in his stomach, shocking him. "What's happening!? What is this!?"
"This is the consequence of destroying and absorbing worlds and hearts." Spyro replied. "Their hearts are fighting back."
"But how!?" Dark Gaia asked, clutching his stomach. "They shouldn't be able to fight back! I have all the power, they're nothing!"
"Again, you are wrong." Spyro said, floating to him. "The heart is erratic, unpredictable, and uncontrollable. Ansem the Wise thought he could study the heart and understand it, but the more he tried to learn, the less he knew."
"And what does that even mean!?" Dark Gaia asked. "What does studying a heart mean about this!?"
"It means you can't control the heart, like you can't control the person it belongs to." Spyro replied, the circles spinning faster and faster as he approached. "The heart holds more power than any singular person can contain or even think of using. You, my friend, are holding millions if not billions of hearts, thinking you are strong enough to contain them all. But your body isn't strong enough to handle that much power. You, my friend, are your own worst enemy."
Spyro then flew down and before Dark Gaia could do anything, Spyro started to fly all around him, slicing at hit hide and releasing dozens of energy blasts, the blasts causing severe damage to the massive serpent as he tried to get his stomach under control and get the hearts to cooperate, he was yelling in agony as he felt pain outside and inside, Starting to loose control as his body began to tear itself apart. A second later, his entire armor was starting to crack and light was shining out of the cracks as he yelled in pain, feeling his body was about to explode when he erupted, chunks of it's armor going everywhere as Spyro flew around, watching the fog as it went everywhere.
"Alright Spyro!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Way to go! Kick that monsters scaly hide!"
"You show him Spyro!" Pinkie shouted. "Beat the meanie mean monster thingy back into where ever it came from!"
Spyro was watching the fog, wondering if the fight was over when he felt a sudden disturbance in the Force, turning around and dodging a massive tentacle in time to avoid being severely injured, flying away and getting distance until he looked up, completely at a loss as he saw Dark Gaia, but this time he was ten times bigger with thousands of eyes and arms all across it's body and hundreds of mouths were all over it's body and arms, laughing as it rose higher and higher.
"You have got to be kidding me." Spyro said.
"So... much... POWER!" Dark Gaia shouted.
He roared out and fired thousands of lasers and energy beams everywhere, attempting to attack Spyro, but he managed to dodge a majority of the attacks while blocking and deflecting the attacks, though it was tiring as he continued to deflect and defend against the attacks until he was suddenly grazed on the shoulder, falling to the ground on Angel Island, but he got up, his powers healing him already as everyone rushed to him.
"He's grown even stronger." Spyro said.
"But... I thought you said he was getting weaker." Fluttershy said.
"He was, until now." Spyro replied. "His body was ripping itself apart only to evolve into a stronger and more dangerous version of himself."
"But, you can beat him, right?" Spike asked.
"I can." Spyro replied, turning to his friends. "But I'm going to need your help girls."
"Say no more pal!" Rainbow Dash replied. "Let's do it!"
Spyro smiled at Rainbow Dash, happy to hear they were ready for the fight as he closed his eyes and a moment later, he was surrounded by a golden dome as were the Mane six, the glass shattering as the purple dragon shot up into the air, roaring out as the six ponies galloped after him, circling the pillar until they collided, releasing a rainbow of light as a golden figure appeared from that light, the gold disappearing to reveal Spyro, but his coat was longer and colored white with the symbols of the Elements of Harmony on the back, three sets of wings sprouting out of his back as the Pegasi heads attached to his back and his chest while the Earth Pony heads connected to his knees. The Unicorn heads circled him until they connected to his shoulders as the colors from all six washed over his coat, making it shift between colors as he reached his hand into the air and his Harmony Keyblade appeared, the six Keyblades from his usual fusions with the ponies appearing out of the clouds and spinning in a circle behind his back, pointing the Harmony Keyblade towards Dark Gaia as he hissed at him.
"Now, count up your sins." Spyro said, all of their voices speaking out of him.
"Pathetic." Dark Gaia said.
Spyro then disappeared, but Dark Gaia just unleashed a storm of tentacles covered in dark fire in random directions, attempting to hit him, but Spyro was already ahead of the Eldritch horror, the blades all slicing through the storm of tentacles and unleashing his own barrage of attacks, dealing damage to the tentacles and cutting a path through the massive storm of dark magic and flesh until he was close enough, but before he could do a thing, Dark Gaia opened up all the mouths closest to him and released more energy beams at him, but Spyro just thrusted his hand out and a massive star appeared in front of him, creating a protective barrier and blocking the attack and summoning dozens of diamond in the ocean, each having a crystal spire shot out of them and plunge into the monster, making it howl in agony before he shot into the sky and the clouds above started to gather around above them as he shot into the clouds, unleashing a storm of colored lightning towards Dark Gaia and dealing devastating damage onto his body before disappearing into a glowing balloon, the balloon popping as Dark Gaia sent more tentacles to grab him, but when he did, the balloon created an explosion that damaged the tentacles, making it his as it looked around.
Its eyes on its back looked behind and the pupils immediately shrunk as a massive cannon blast shot out, damaging the eyes and making it scream in pain as the cannon disappeared. It then unleashed a storm of dark lighting at Spyro, but a storm of Butterflies appeared, creating a protective barrier as they all flew towards Dark Gaia, covering his eyes before they all explode and blind it, making Dark Gaia yell out in agony and in rage as he threw his arms around, releasing energy attacks in random directions to hit him, but instead, Spyro just bounced that energy back at him, using the Keyblade to deflect the attacks before flying in and slicing his side, making a massive gash mark that made him yell in pure agony, looking down at Spyro, but before he could attack, Spyro slashed upwards and the water underneath Dark Gaia shot up, knocking it into the air as the clouds above circled him, Spyro reaching out with the Force and holding Dark Gaia in the sky as the clouds unleashed a flurry of lighting bolts, baseball sized hail, even using the wind to slice it up, but the more he damaged it, the more it kept fighting. It pointed a Tentacle at Spyro and fired a beam of energy, forcing him to raise the blade and block the attack, being pushed back as Dark Gaia hit the water, getting up and getting ready to attack again, but Spyro had enough of the fight.
He threw the Harmony blade into the air and the Elements of Harmony started to glow on the blade, releasing a rainbow into the sky, which Spyro flew up next to it and when he reached the sky, the rainbow flew down, hitting Dark Gaia and making it freeze, feeling the stinging heat of the light as the symbols for the elements appeared, Spyro flying over the rainbow and passing through each symbol, making the symbols on his jacket glow before he spun himself around and kicked his foot out, all the energy collecting their as he neared Dark Gaia, who could do little but watch as he yelled out, passing straight through him, making Dark Gaia yell in agony before he exploded into thousands of pieces, Spyro pulling up as he looked down, watching what remained of Dark Gaia fade into the explosion as everyone on the island cheered.
"Alright!" Sonic shouted. "Nice going!"
"You did it!" Cadence exclaimed. "I knew you could do it!"
"Way to go everyone!" Shining Armor shouted.
"Is it over?" Fluttershy asked. "Please tell me it's over."
"Heh, no way he's getting up after that attack!" Rainbow Dash replied.
However, she spoke too soon as a pillar of dark magic shot into the air, shocking everyone as they heard dark laughter as Dark Gaia was not done yet, this time he was the size of an entire planet, taking the form of a deformed dragon, eyes all over it's body as it opened it's mouth, roaring out as it felt pure rage as it charged up a breath attack to hit the planet.
"OH COME ON!" Spyro shouted. "This is ridiculous! This feels like a Dark Souls boss fight here!"
"YOU... ARE... A NUISANCE!" Dark Gaia shouted, his voice nearly causing everyone to go deaf. "DIE!"
It then unleashed a massive beam of energy straight towards the planet, the path heading straight towards Angel Island, everyone on the island huddling as they prepared for the attack, but Spyro was fast enough to get in the path of the attack and reached out with the Force to stop the attack, the strain of it all causing his body to produce smoke as it caused him to burn up, looking back at the island and seeing the fear and terror in his friends eyes, so with everything he had left, he pushed back against the beam of energy and twisted it, making a whirlwind that shot back into the sky and hit Dark Gaia in the eye, making it roar out in agony, Spyro feeling the strain of the Force hit him as he fell from the sky and towards the sea, about to fall into the water when Cadence and Luna flew towards him, grabbing him before he hit the sea and bringing him back to Angel Island right as the Drive wore off, everyone separating as the fusion ended.
"He's... too strong." Spyro said, sitting up and looking to the sky. "He's unstoppable now. It's going to take a miracle to defeat him now."
"There has to be a way to defeat him." Twilight said. "There has to be."
"If there is, I'm not seeing it." Spyro said, looking up at Dark Gaia. "He's reached a for of power that I've never seen before."
"Heh, we've dealt with far more dangerous things than this bozo!" Rainbow Dash replied.
"I wish I can share your confidence Rainbow Dash." Spyro replied.
He watched as Dark Gaia got his bearings again and looked back down at Spyro and his friends, opening his mouth again to destroy them, which Spyro knelt down and gathered everyone in an embrace as he looked up, watching as he saw a large purple light gather inside Dark Gaia's maw until he unleashed a massive energy beam towards the world, everyone hugging Spyro as he moved to protect them. As the beam of energy reached them, Spyro raised his hands and used the Force to block the attack, though as he did, the ground beneath him started to crack underneath him, the strain of trying to hold the blast back starting to show as steam started to rise from his hands as he grunted, trying to stay strong.
"Spyro!" Twilight shouted.
"Girls, listen to me!" Spyro said, pushing back. "Use my bracers... call my ship... and get out of here! Get back home while you can!"
"No, we're not leaving you!" Twilight shouted, running over and hugging him. "We lost you before, I won't loose you again! None of us will!"
To make her point, everyone behind him ran over and hugged Spyro, all not wanting to leave him again, staying to help him, even if it meant their end. Spyro wasn't comfortable letting them stay and possibly perish with him, so he pushed back harder, hoping to redirect the attack again, but he was loosing strength, feeling like it was over as he prepared for the end.

Tell everybody I'm on my way!
Spyro opened his eyes and looked around, trying to figure out where that voice came from when he saw the circles all around them, Kenai and Koda appearing in the cyan circle.
"Koda?" Spyro asked.
[Pocahontas]
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Spyro then looked to the red circle with the head dress, seeing Pocahontas and John Smith appearing in the circle as he looked around all the other circles, hearing some music coming from each one.

Spyro couldn't believe he was hearing all the friends his friends made, appearing in the circles until his eyes landed on a golden circle, looking at it and finding it lead to Equestria, wondering what was going on until a bright light shined out and encased them all. Back in Equestria, Princess Celestia was looking through her telescope, watching the sky as she waited patiently for her star pupil to return, but got the feeling something was going to happen and she was correct, a golden dome appearing around her as it shattered and an ethereal white alicorn flew into the sky, neighing out as she disappeared. On Mobius, there was a massive cloud of smoke that surrounded the island, satisfying Dark Gaia as he smiled.
"Finally." Dark Gaia said. "Now to finish what I've started."
He opened his mouth to released another beam of energy to destroy the planet when a golden light shot past him, taking him by surprise as he closed his mouth and watched it go somewhere, looking around to see where it went, but didn't find it, so he paid it no mind as he got ready to destroy Mobius and then move onto the next world.
"Brother Bear!" A voice shouted. Dark Gaia closed his mouth again, looking around to see where it came from when he saw a cyan light shine out of the cloud of smoke around Angel Island. "Hunchback of Notre Dame! Winnie the Pooh! Princess and the Frog! Encanto! Coco! Hercules! Raya and the Last Dragon! Beauty and the Beast! Pinocchio! Pocahontas! Sonic the Hedgehog! My Little Pony!"
Many lights shined out of the smoke and then the thirteen circles shot out form the smoke and hit Dark Gaia, taking him by surprise as he turned to see the thirteen circles floating in the air, spinning in a circle and before he knew it, the purple dragon flew past him again along with all the ponies following him, moving to the center of the circles as the white alicorn flew over, all of them colliding to create a blinding white light as a single pair of wings shot out from behind, covering the light before expanding outward.

HAR-MON-Y, oooh!
ETERNITY!
When the light disappeared, there before Dark Gaia was Spyro, but this time his new form had gold and black armor, the twelve symbols from the book on his chest with the cutie marks of the mane six in the middle, Princess Luna's and Shining Armors marks on his left shoulder and arm while Princess Celestia's and Zecora marks were on his right shoulder and arm. On his back was Princess Cadence's mark with the images of the Cutie Mark Crusaders surrounding her, the helmet sliding back to reveal Spyro's eyes were the colors of the rainbow as the circles spun faster and faster as they flew into his chest, making lines appear across the armor that changed to different colors quickly, the feather wings turning from gold into rainbow with the rims of the wings remaining gold.
"Impossible." Dark Gaia said. "I destroyed you! I hit you all!
"Well, you missed." Spyro replied, this time it was only his voice.

He spun his arms until his palms were covering his face, expanding his arms as several sets of wings appeared, expanding wide and appearing large as they shined the colors of the Rainbow, Dark Gaia getting another attack ready, but Spyro flapped the wings towards Dark Gaia and a storm of feathers flew straight for him, each feather a different color and when they hit, they caused an explosion across his body, making him yell in anger as the eyes started to glow, releasing dozens of dark missiles towards him, but he flapped his wings and flew around, avoiding the missiles while also causing them to hit each other and causing explosions. He then flew right next to Dark Gaia and raised his hand, summoning the Keyblades from the last time he fused with Luna and Celestia, but he then connected them together, crossing them and making the guards touch before a singular blade similar to the X-blade, a dark blue and white wing sprouting out from either side of the two blades as he took it into his hand, raising it up and making dozens of stars shine brighter than before, each one flashing. Not knowing what was going on, Dark Gaia opened his mouth to attack, but seconds later, hundreds of beams of light flashed across the starry night sky and hit him as his maw was opened, making him stagger backwards as he covered himself to defend himself, creating a shield made out of dark magic to continue the assault, one large eye opening and firing a massive beam of dark magic at him.
However, he wasn't phased as he raised his left arm and Shining Armor's Cutie Mark started to glow and a massive ethereal shield appeared, blocking the attack while Celestia's Cutie Mark glowed and he flew higher into the air, spinning the blade around as it created a makeshift sun and released a blinding amount of light, covering sky as night became day as it shined bright enough for everyone in any and all worlds to see it, looking up and wondering what was going on. Dark Gaia closed his eyes, trying not to go blind, but the damage was already done as many of the eyes were hit, making them go grey and smoking as the shield failed on him, the sun disappearing as the sun stopped glowing, but the diamond and the six pointed star glowed, Rarity's and Twilight's marks glowing as four ethereal stars appeared and from them, four comets came out of them and hit Gaia, dealing devastating damage to his body as his armor cracked and broke, making dozens of spires of gems appear from it and spread across his body as he yelled in agony as the armor was literally peeled off his body, making him try to flee. However, Spyro just smiled as the two marks stopped glowing and a second later, the balloon mark on his leg started to glow as he suddenly appeared in front of Dark Gaia, swinging his blade up and striking another eyes, making him roar in agony.
"WHAT IS THIS POWER!?" Dark Gaia shouted. "How is this possible!?"
"Anything is possible when you have friends." Spyro replied, floating towards him As he did, images of his friends appeared next to him, those that were on the worlds still intact and those whose worlds were destroyed, all smiling at him as he looked to each one, returning his gaze to Dark Gaia. "My friends are my power Dark Gaia! When I'm with my friends, that is when I truly shine! Summoning forth a power greater than all the magic in the world! The power of Friendship!"
Dark Gaia just growled at Spyro, his remaining eyes glowing as he opened his maw and fired a massive beam of dark light towards him, but Spyro just smiled and raised his left hand, catching the attack and splitting it into dozens if not hundreds of smaller lights, the lights flying in random directions, but a second later, they stopped and turned back to Spyro as if to hit him, but instead they turned into different colors, going into his wings as they were glowing brighter and brighter, Dark Gaia not realizing what was going on until he stopped his attack, panting until he saw all the lights flying into his wing, realizing what he did as he backed away.
"I cannot be destroyed!" Dark Gaia announced. "You cannot destroy me! I am what destroys all life in the universe! I will only return to my slumber and when I reawaken, this world, your world, ALL WORLDS WILL BE DESTROYED!"
"Not in my story you won't." Spyro said.
He released the blade he had and it separated into two separate blades, flying into the air as more blades appeared, all circling and flying into the starry sky as they combined together, Spyro grabbing the hilt of a massive X-Blade, the blade itself reaching hundreds of feet above the atmosphere if he was on Mobius, shocking Dark Gaia as he backed away and before he could flee, Spyro swung the blade down, the blade coming straight for Dark Gaia, but he released a massive burst of energy to destroy it, but the blade just split the energy in half, only adding to Spyro's power, so he recreated the shield to defend himself and it stopped the attack, pausing the attack. However, Spyro wasn't phased by it as he kept pushing, the energy continuing to gather in his wings until the shield started to crack, terrifying the dark Deity as the shield shattered and the blade cut him in half, making him yell in agony as he suddenly exploded, his screams echoing as the smoke covered him, leaving him wondering if he was going to change again.

"I swear by Celestia's mane, if he changes again, I'm going to take his body and drop him into a black hole and erasing that Blackhole from existence!" Spyro exclaimed, ready for what comes next.
However, instead of him changing, he saw half of his body floating in the weightless area of space, watching as the other half turned into golden orbs of light as they floated around, Dark Gaia's body turning until he was looking at Spyro, barely hanging on as he started to glow.
"But... how?" Dark Gaia asked. "I... and... the natural... order... of this universe. How?"
"Because you made a singular mistake that costed you your life." Spyro replied, holding the blade next to him. "You fought against the Prince of Light and Darkness and his friends."
Dark Gaia just chuckled, finding it funny as he closed his eyes, his body glowing as he turned into billions of golden orbs, all of them floating to Spyro and orbiting him.
"Are these... hearts?" Twilight asked, looking at all of them through Spyro's eyes.
"They are." Spyro replied. "Each orb is a heart that Dark Gaia absorbed. Each one of them holding more power than anyone has ever tried to understand."
"It's amazing." Celestia said, looking through his eyes.
"Sister!" Luna exclaimed happily. "Oh sister, I've missed you!"
"Luna!" Celestia exclaimed, though they were in Spyro's Body, he could feel them hugging one another. "I was so worried about you! What happened to you!? Where did you go!?"
"It's quite the story sister." Luna replied. "I'll tell you all about it when we're home."
"Speaking of, how are we getting home?" Scootaloo asked. "The Harmony was destroyed."
"The Harmony is just a ship Scoots." Spyro said, beginning to fly back down to Mobius. "It can be replaced. But you... my friends... all of you... you can't be replaced."
He flew down and saw Angel Island was still there, though damaged, it was still floating in the sky, although it had some damage to it, Sonic and his friends were alright, landing on the ground as they approached.
"Wow, that was some battle up there." Sonic said, scratching his nose. "You really showed Dark Gaia who was boss!"
"I will admit, the battle was a difficult one." Spyro replied. "I actually thought we were done for back there."
"Ha, yeah right!" Rainbow Dash said, taking control. "Did you see us back there!? We were unstoppable!"
"I'll say we were unstoppable!" Shining Armor said. "Do you guys fight like this all the time!?"
"Sometimes yes." Twilight said, looking up to the orbs of golden light circling Mobius. "But... what about them? What will happen to everyone who lost their worlds? Where will they go?"
"Home." Spyro replied. "They will go home."
"Um, I hate to be that kind of pony, but they don't have a home darling." Rarity replied. "What do you mean they'll go home?"
Spyro didn't answer, but instead flapped his wings, flying back into the sky and heading towards the ring of golden lights, the orbs continuing to orbit the world as he slowly approached them aardvark a moment later, the wings started to glow, glowing brighter and brighter until several rainbows shot out of the wings, heading deep into the farthest reaches of space. A moment later, one of the rainbows reached the world previously known as the Land of Savages and as it got closer, the colors all separated into multiple colors, flying towards the world and as it hit the shattered pieces of the ruined planet, the chunks suddenly stopped floating outward, an unknown force reaching out and bringing all the pieces back together, the smaller chunks forming together as they flew back into the world as the larger chunks came together, restoring the body of the ruined world as the color came back, plants, the oceans, even the sky was returning to normal, even some of the animals were coming out of their hiding places and sniffing the air, wondering what was going on. With Spyro, he raised his hands and before him stood the remains of the other worlds, moving his hands together and then apart as the worlds were all being restored right in front of him, putting all of his focus into restoring what Dark Gaia had destroyed.
A moment later, the Land of Savages was fully restored and as it was, some of the lights followed the path the rainbow Made back towards the Land of Savages, disappearing into the stars as they arrived back in their home world, the lights floating down onto the land itself and as they touched down, they turned back into the settlers and the natives, everyone looking at themselves and seeing they were back to normal, everyone cheering right as John Smith and Pocahontas appeared back on their home, John looking relatively healed and smiling about it as he and Pocahontas shared a kiss, looking to the sky and watching the rainbow fly over, everyone cheering and waving to it. The same thing was happening to the other worlds, the worlds being restored as all the damage done to them was fixed and once it was fully restored, the golden orbs followed the rainbows to their corresponding world, the orbs floating down onto the world and as soon as they touched down, they returned to being their normal selves, everyone cheering as they praised Spyro and his friends for restoring them and their home.
At Mobius, the wings continued to produce the rainbows, finishing up restoring each of the worlds before their glow started to dissipate, becoming duller and duller until the rainbows disappeared, Spyro smiling to himself as he flew down and landed back on Angel island, his wings coming in as he walked.
"Now that was some light show." Sonic said, looking around and not seeing the cracks on his world. "You fixed everything. How?"
"Dark Gaia made another mistake." Spyro replied. "He gave me much of his dark power, thinking it would be enough to destroy me, but instead I turned that dark energy into light, using that very light to restore and heal all the worlds and the people, giving them life once more."
"Well, it's great and all, but we still have one problem." Scootaloo said. "We're still stranded here."
"And I doubt you have enough magic to teleport us home Spyro dear." Rarity said.
"You're right, I don't have much magic left to teleport us home." Spyro said, sensing how upset everyone was. "But I do have enough for this."
He raised his hands up and a small silver orb appeared in them, his wings extending outward as the colors moved across the wings, moving up the armor and into the orb, making the colors move across the orb, shining out as he let it go, the orb floating into the air until it reached the very top of the sky, shining out and as it dimmed, it revealed their ship, The Harmony, was restored as well, floating down and landing on the island as they watched, shocked by it's sudden appearance.
"Our ship!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed happily. "You fixed it!"
"I had just enough energy left to restore the Harmony so we can go home." Spyro said
Right as he said it, he started glowing, making everyone cover their eyes and a moment later, the light dimmed away and they saw everyone had separated, reverting back to their original selves as they looked at the ship.
"Well, guess this is it." Applejack said. "Guess it's time for us to go home now."
"It is." Spyro said, putting his hand on her head. "It's time to go home."
"Well, guess this is goodbye." Sonic said, walking up. "Guess we'll catch ya later, huh?"
"Heh, maybe someday." Spyro replied. "We'll come by and visit whenever we can. Until then, take care of yourselves, alright?"
Sonic gave him a thumbs up, indicating he and his friends will be just fine, making Spyro smile as everyone walked into the newly restored Harmony, the ships hatch closing as it took off and flew straight into the planet's atmosphere, everyone sitting in the cockpit and watching as they took off.
"Buckle in everyone." Spyro said, putting in the coordinates for Equestria. "We're going home."
A second later, the ship entered Warp space, passing through the corridor of light and colors, mesmerizing Princess Celestia as they flew through the brightly lite corridors. After a little while, the ship came out of Warp Space and started to approach Equestria, the world of friendship and magic appearing before everyone as they looked out of the cockpit and saw their home.
"We're back." Sweetie Belle said. "We're back home."
"Yes, home." Spyro said, patting Sweetie Belles head. "And we've got a lot to do for the wedding."
"The wedding?" Twilight asked. "What wedding?"
"He means our wedding Twilight." Shining Armor said, he and Cadence standing next to one another. "We postponed our wedding to help you locate Spyro's heart."
"And now that he's back, there is something I would like to ask him." Cadence said, approaching him. "Spyro, we would be honored if you would be best stallion at our wedding, right next to Twilight as our best mare."
"Me!?" Spyro asked, completely shocked. "Best stallion!? Why... of course! I'd be honored!"
"Wonderful!" Cadence said. "Now let's hurry and get to Canterlot! I can hardly wait!"
Spyro smiled and nodded his head, pressing down on the throttle and making the ship fly down towards Equestria, wishing to head back to the farm to get himself ready. Back at the farm, Big Mac was finishing up on some chores and with Appeljack away, it was taking its toll on him, making him tired with all the extra work he has to do. However, before be could pick up the next hay bale, he paused, his ears perking up as he heard what sound like the engines from a ship, looking to the sky as did all of Ponyville and to their surprise and joy, they saw the Harmony breaking the cloud line, heading straight for Sweet Apple Acres. Everyone dropped what they were doing, heading straight for the farm to greet their friends and to welcome them back. As the ship landed in the open section near the garage, everyone gathering there as the ponies in the ship came out, everyone welcoming them back, but became surprised that the princesses were on the ship as well along with Spike, wanting to question what they were doing, but before they could ask, they heard another set of hoof steps, looking back to the ramp and their eyes widened when they saw Spyro.
However, Spyro's coat and scale color was a darker shade of purple and his horns weren't orange this time, but a golden yellow, a single pair of wings with his forelegs and his hind legs having scales on them, heavily armored and his mane was now black with a singular white stripe, everyone surprised by his new look.
"Hey everypony." Spyro said, walking to the crowd. "I'm back."
"Spyro... is that you?" Granny Smith asked. "Ya look... different."
"Heh, it's me Granny Smith." Spyro replied. "I'm back and ready for action."
The entire town cheered as they had their friend back, crowding around him wanting to give him a pat on the back, happy as can be that he has returned. The next day, the entire city of Canterlot was buzzing with excitement for the wedding to take place again, this time it was with the real princess instead of the Changeling Queen. That day, Twilight and Spyro were going over every single one of the preparations together, starting with the food, which the princess tried some of Applejacks pasteries and she loved them, giving her approval before moving onto the wedding dresses, Rarity showing her what it looked like and she loved it too. They then moved onto the bird chorus, the princess loving the music the birds were putting on before moving to the entertainment, which she and Pinkie got along perfectly, Twilight checking off the last mark before rolling up her scroll. She then turned to Spyro, who was smiling at her as the two of them hugged, the lavender unicorn happy to have her friend, herd leader, and love back with her as they got ready for the wedding to commence. At the reception, everyone was eagerly awaiting for the bride to come, Spyro now wearing the new royal clothing Rarity made for him, a purple coat with golden patterns in it along with some armor over the shoulders and up the legs for good measures, the bird chorus sounding off as the doors opened and from the doors, the crusaders were bouncing along the path to the alter with Cadence walking behind them, everyone happy to see the actual princess on her wedding day.
"So, i can understand the Changeleing wanting you, but how did you manage to get somepony like Cadence to marry you?" Twilight asked her brother.
"I told her she wouldn't just be getting a husband, but also an amazing sister too." Shining Armor said. "And possibly a brother-in-law as well if you accept his proposal."
"Well, I haven't proposed yet." Spyro said, hugging Twilight. "But once I get some new rings made, I think I will."
Twilight smiled, hugging Spyro as Cadence walked up to the alter, standing next to Shining Armor, turning to Princess Celestia.
"Mares and Gentlecolts!" Princess Celestia exclaimed. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the union of the real princess Mí Amore Cadenza and Captain Shining Armor."
"Princess Cadence is fine." Cadence said, making Celestia smile
"The union of Princess 'Cadence' and Captain Shining Armor." Celestia said. "The strength of their commitment is clear as is the power of their love undeniable! Spike, may I have the rings please?" Spike walked over carrying a pillow with the wedding rings on it, presenting it to the princess as she used her magic to lift them up and put them on the couples horns. "I now pronounce you, mare and colt!"
The crowd cheered as the couple kissed, sealing the deal as the party cannons fired, everyone cheering as the couple walked out to enjoy the reception, leaving Twilight and her friends alone with Spyro and the princess and Maya, who also attended the wedding.
"They're perfect for each other." Spyro said, smiling at them. "They'll be truly happy with one another."
"This is a great day for everyone." Celestia said, walking to them. "You all fought and persisted many challenges and dangers to bring Spyro back. Twilight, when others doubted you, you remained strong and trusted your instincts. This is as much your victory as anypony else's."
They all looked out the happy couple as they rubbed noses, Spyro leaning into Rainbow Dash's ear to whisper to her, letting her know it was her cue, so she zipped off, her dress coming off as she flew into the sky, going faster and faster until she did the Sonic Rainboom, everyone mesmerized by it. At the reception, everyone was dancing and enjoying the perfect day, Pinkie taking over the music as she got everything ready to make the celebration something to remember. While she was getting everything ready, Twilight pulled Spyro away to some place more private where they could talk.
"Spyro, I have something to show you." Twilight said.
"Better not be something that will ruin this perfect day." Spyro said. A moment later, twilight pulled out the Kyber Crystal, shocking Spyro as he took it with his magic to examine it. "Where did you get this?"
"I got it from some kind of dimension." Twilight replied. "I was talking with Yoda and-"
"Yoda!?" Spyro asked, shocked to hear the name. "Grand Master Yoda!? Now that's a name I haven't heard in a few years. But for you to get this... this is incredible!"
"What is it?" Twilight asked.
"Twilight, this is a Kyber Crystal." Spyro replied.
"Oh wow." Twilight replied, taking the crystal in her own magic. "What's a Kyber Crystal?"
"It's a Lightsaber Crystal." Spyro replied, shocking Twilight. "For you to have one, it's a sign."
"A sign of what?" Twilight asked.
"Twilight, your training is going to get even harder from this point forward." Spyro replied. "Not only will you learn to be a Keyblade warrior and a master someday, but from this point forth, you shall train to be a Jedi too." Twilight's eyes widened with surprise, not believing what she was hearing when they heard the speakers, Pinkie Waving them over. "That's your cue. We'll talk more about getting your Lightsaber later. For now, let's enjoy the night."
Twilight hugged Spyro, putting the crystal in her pocket before running to the DJ stand where Pinkie was at, the pink party pony tossing a couple of microphones to Twilight, the lavender mare catching one, but Spyro caught the other one, smiling at her as the music started.
"Let's get this party started!" Pinkie exclaimed.

A moment later, the married couple walked towards the carriage, Twilight opening the door into the carriage right as Cadence walked in, happy to go on their Honeymoon, but Shining Armor stopped and turned to both his sister and to Spyro, hugging his sister as she returned the hug.
"None of this would have been possible without you or Spyro." Shining Armor said. "Lone you Twilight."
"Love you too BBBFF." Twilight replied.
He then ended the hug and turned his attention to Spyro, smiling at him.
"Be sure to take good care of my sister, alright." Shining Armor said. "Otherwise I'm going to hunt you down and knock the stuffing out of you."
"Like I haven't heard that threat before." Spyro said, making them both laugh.
The two stallions hoof bumped and the captain got into the carriage with his wife, the Pegasi guard galloping off to take the married couple on their Honeymoon right as cadence threw the bouquet, every mare there clamoring to get it, but a gust of wind blew it away from them and towards Twilight, the Lavender mare catching the bouquet as a blush appeared on her cheeks, looking to Spyro, who had a mischievous look on his face as his horns stopped glowing, Twilight smiling and shaking her head at him, the two kissing as the carriage left.

"That was a great wedding." Twilight said.
"Heh, you think that was great, wait until the Bachelor Party!" Spike replied.
Everyone laughed at Spike as he didn't understand that the Bachelor Party was before the wedding, not after. As everyone was leaving, Spyro and Twilight sat in the royal garden, looking out to the starry night sky while Twilight still had the bouquet, snuggling up against Spyro as the two had their moments of peace.
"I think Dawn would have liked it here." Twilight said, making Spyro look at her. "You think she would have been happy here and to have us as a family?"
"There is no simple answer to that question Twilight." Spyro replied, looking in and seeing Dawn Smile at her, wiping a tear away. "But if I were to take a guess, I would say yes. She would have loved it here."
Twilight looked up at Spyro, the two kissing one another as they remained under the starry night sky, enjoying the peace of the night and enjoying one another's company. Elsewhere on the planet of Corusant, Emperor Palpatine was sitting in his chair, looking out the window and looking at his empire when his apprentice, Darth Vader, walked in, bowing his head.
"What is thy bidding, my master?" Darth Vader asked.
"My friend, there is a great disturbance in the Force." Palpatine said.
"Yes, i have felt it as well." Darth Vader replied. "Do you believe it to be Obi-wan?"
"No, someone more powerful than him." Palpatine replied, turning to face him. And possibly more powerful than you."
"It matters not who it is." Vader replied. "I have faced many enemies before and I will not be discouraged by this one."
"Do not forget your place Lord Vader." Palpatine replied. "This individual will have more effect on our overall plan to rule the galaxy. For now, focus on wiping out any remaining Jedi still in hiding. Leave nothing to chance."
"As you wish, my master." Darth Vader replied.
Darth Vader bowed and then turned, leaving the room and leaving Palpatine alone in his chambers, turning to the window with a malevolent smile, his laughter being heard all across the city as he made plans to wipe out any resistance and rule the galaxy for all eternity, believing no one would stand in his way.
