Marcus woke up Sunday morning with a headache, it took him some time to remember he could heal himself, and once he did heal himself he found himself alone in the bed but he did hear the shower running in the bathroom.
Climbing out of bed he went to join Emma, being in his room he didn't bother covering up, when he got to the shower he just stepped under the water reaching for the shampoo, being partially asleep he didn't notice that the bathtub was occupied by two people one being Emma.
After washing his hair he took a cloth and soaped it up and began washing himself then automatically began washing the person in the shower with him who was oddly stiff as he washed her back and bum until his body's reaction brushed her and she gasped.
The gasp finished waking him up and he was facing the back of a girl smaller than Emma who had black hair to the middle of her back.
Dropping the cloth he covered himself awkwardly and left the shower and room, he saw the two in the tub one smiling like the Cheshire cat while Hermione was under the water up to her shoulders bright red but oddly she was smiling as well.
Casting a drying charm he used his wardrobe to dress and sat on his bed his head in his hands as he tried to remember after the dancing but it was a blurry mess.
The first to follow him out of the bathroom was Emma after drying and dressing, she sat at his side, "You didn't finish her back."
"It was a bit of a shock to find someone else in the shower who was not you," he replied looking up his face showing confusion.
"I bet it was, you were still asleep when you came in and went straight to the shower, Hermione saw you first and turned so red I thought she was going to pass out," Emma said
The two came out to find them sitting on the bed Rose was frowning, " You've seen me naked, so why did you stop it took forever to get this one to finish my back." she said pointing to Hermione.
Hermione was still red and looking at the floor, so out of it that she did not see Rose reaching for the towel until said towel was pulled from around her giveng every one of them a good view of her body.
Marcus was a second too long in looking away from the naked and shy girl who was trying to cover herself with her hands and try to take the towel back, Rose dodged away her towel falling to the floor giving Marcus another view, he lay back and covered his eyes.
Emma was laughing her head off, "Alright girls calm down and put some clothes on Cordelia will wake up soon and it's my turn to get her," she said after a few minutes.
The two stopped running around the room before looking down at themselves before heading for the door only for it to open to admit Scarlett who went about gathering the cast-off clothing, Emma was not far behind them heading to their room to get Cordelia.
She found the two teenagers rummaging through dressers and closets both had a full body blush, "Sorry Emma I was hoping to be out of there before he woke up."
"It's fine Hermione, Rose was right he has seen it all, and after last night I don't think it matters much anymore, the two of you could barely walk," Emma stopped her from apologizing, only for the last few words to add to Hermione's blush to spread more.
"Yeah I thought it was just the potion that made it feel good that first time, now I am thinking that I may be bi although I do like being with Hermione more, " Rose said getting a nod from her girlfriend.
"Yes I saw that the two of you were getting itchy and no matter how you two tried to not look at Marcus a bit of lust would show in your eyes, I just didn't think I would have to get him drunk for him to touch you two before the lust got the better of you," Emma said as she continued to Cordelia's room to get her ready for the day.
Rose and Hermione looked at each other and smiled a bit, they had just gotten their bras on and were looking for a shirt when Marcus walked in and saw that they were not fully dressed turned and fled to the dining room, the laughter of the two following him.
Emma came out of the nursery holding Cordelia who still looking sleepy, Rose and Hermione went over and kissed the baby on each cheek before returning to pick out shirts.
Emma left to join Marcus, but as soon as she sat with the sleepy baby in her lap she came awake and reached out to him, "DaDa! "
Marcus looked up from a report on his and Harry's robes the golems were working on, after some research on a few charms he thought of that would cause the robes to change to match the the robes of the wearer's partner, it added another day for them to be finished.
Holding out his hands to take the tyke from Enma, Emma gave a mock pout, "I have to fight to get her awake and just seeing you she is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed."
"I've read some child-rearing books most say children will sometimes latch onto the father figure until puberty, it's a primal thing, MaMa feeds DaDa fights for the food, and teaches the young how to live," he said after kissing the baby.
Emma harrumphed as, " Their profiles have changed to them being Bi, and I've been watching them over the last few months and noticed that they were looking at you with lust, the itch was growing, I didn't want a blow up so got you drunk to take care of that itch, they admitted to liking you but preferred each other if the issue comes up again just take them to scratch it, the hormones will affect them and that itch will happen often,"
Marcus looked guilty for a few seconds then confused as did the two as they entered the room to eat, " We are sorry we don't want to cause trouble," Hermione said.
"It's not a problem, there are bonds between us it won't cause your emotions to change toward us, time and hormones will affect you if either of you feels the need to scratch that itch just let us know, " Emma said.
Marcus was trying not to listen to them but heard it all the same, "Just remember I am one man, and even with the skills from the shop I will need a break if you three all want it from me try to make a schedule please, " he almost begged to cause the three to laugh.
"Fine we will discuss this later for now let's eat and give the big strong man to be a plaything for the baby," Emma said just before Cordelia hit him with a toy from the table.
After that, the five ate breakfast on the table, Cordelia alternated between eating and playing.
When the girls finished eating they left to work on the jewelry for the ball which Hermione and Rose protested about but still loved trying them on.
Marcus finished looking over his and Harry's dress robes, by the end of it he noticed that they would look like Armani's three-piece suits just with a wizarding flare.
It was lunchtime when he next saw the girls, all three had their hair done up with intricate braids with a few loose curls artfully framing their faces, the diadems holding their hair up, Marcus thought that they were beautiful with their hair up.
Emma took Cordelia to feed her during the meal the talk around the table was on the different styles they had tried and licked.
It took Emma a while to get Cordelia to eat as the little girl kept trying to reach for the shiny jewelry, when she finally got her to eat enough she focused on the shiny things.
"We will have to leave around five this afternoon to get back in time to get younger Hermione ready to knock the socks off of the crowd," Emma said as Rose took Cordelia to take her to clean up.
Marcus shook his head, "I'll never understand the need to take so long to get ready you girls have, even though I will be around women for a long time it'll always be out of my understanding," he said getting a glare from Hermione and Emma, he raised his hands in defense, "You are all beautiful I just don't see the need for all that primping you go through."
Both smiled at him before going back to talking about how Emma should do younger Hermione's hair and which diadem to use for that.
The afternoon passed like that until it was time to return to Hogwarts luckily Cordelia was down for a nap, flying down to the gate and opening the gate back to Hogwarts.
Walking through with the robes in a small single-item expanded box in his arms Marcus was stunned at the view of the castle lit up in the twilight, Emma at his side felt like she was truly seeing the castle for the first time.
They walked up to the castle taking in the site and watching the students who had not gone home Friday playing in the snow the few times someone tried to throw snowballs at them ended up with the person throwing them five times as many returned to cover them if they couldn't get out of the way.
"The ball starts at eight, so make sure Harry is presentable, I'm taking Hermione to the suite so I can use the trunks modern things, magic helps hold the hair in place but brushes and pins are needed to get it right," Emma said parting with him to go find Hermione who was most likely in the library.
Marcus watched her go and then looked at the boxes in his arms before sighing, walking up to the suite he dropped off Emma's and Hermione's dresses in his and Emma's room in the trunk while putting his and Harry's on the couch in the living room.
He was exiting the trunk when Emma and Hermione came into the suite, " On the bed in our room," he said before going to find Harry.
He had to search for an hour before finding the boy walking around the castle like a lost puppy he was looking through empty classrooms.
"Hey what are you doing?" Marcus asked
Harry jumped and spun pulling his wand from a pocket, when he saw who it was he gave a sigh, "Looking for Hermione she was supposed to be in the library but I didn't see her, so I went to find her, sometimes she uses an empty classroom,"
Marcus began to laugh causing the teen to give him an aggravated look, "The ball is in a couple of hours and girls take a while to get ready for things like that," he said while walking up to the teen, "Emma grabbed her an hour ago and took her to our rooms to get dressed."
Harry slumped a little, "All we have to do is get dressed and show up a bit before the ball starts, what's she going to be doing for," he looked at his watch, "next hour and a half?"
Marcus gave a barking laugh shaking his head, "Harry you are going to learn that girls love to take time to dress up, I've known Emma for almost all of my life and still don't understand the way girls think especially when it comes to things like this, all I can tell you is compliment the girl when you see her,"
Harry was nodding with a lost look on his face, "Umm okay."
"Come on we need to go start getting ready as well, you need to shower and shave, your robes are in my rooms, you can use our shower to get cleaned up," Marcus said turning to lead the teen.
The two walked slowly through the halls, they were met by other young male students looking lost some dressed up in nice dress robes and others rushing somewhere, most likely to get ready themselves.
When they got to the rooms they found Alice and Astoria with several other first-years sitting around the sitting room playing games or just talking.
"Hi, girls and others having fun?" Marcus asked causing a few to jump.
With a war cry of "Big Brother," Alice jumped up and tackled and hugged him.
"Hi there sweetie, so are you all having fun?" he repeated his question.
"Yeah it's fun but I wanna see the aunties and little Cordy again," Alice said stepping back.
"We are going home tomorrow morning, you are just going to have to wait until then," he said ruffling her hair.
She swatted at his hand, "Big sisters are still in the trunk, when I went to put my stuff away there was a lot of laughing and giggling coming from your room," Alice informed him before waving at Harry and then bouncing back to her friends.
Marcus went into the trunk and indeed there was laughing and giggling coming from his and Emma's room, grabbing the box with Harry's roles he left.
Exiting the trunk he found the firsties surrounding Harry and asking the teen all kinds of questions from stuff on school work to being in the tournament.
"Alright, little ones, our friend here needs to get ready for tonight," Marcus said approaching the group and pulling Harry to the bathroom.
The children pouted but returned to the games or books, "Thanks I can glare the older years into leaving me alone but every time I just think of doing that and Alice is around I get shivers and a want to run far away," Harry said.
"Yeah I know what you mean, that little girl can be scary when angry, add that she is powerful and knows more magic than most, yeah just run and hope you get away fast enough," Marcus said handing over the box.
Harry nodded as he took the box then shivered as he remembered last week when the twins pulled a prank and accidentally got Astoria, Alice punished them before the staff could, somehow she turned the twins into palm-sized monkeys for three days, after they changed back to humans they started treating her like she was a queen.
"Bathrooms through there, get clean and dressed," Marcus said pointing to a door.
After Harry entered the room and shut the door Marcus turned to find several pairs of eyes looking at him, " You want to watch the TV don't you ?"
At their nods he shrugged, "You can fight Emma over that I am not going to interrupt her and the others getting ready for tonight."
All eyes fell at his words, " She ran us out of the trunk already," a girl with brown hair said.
"Yeah and I'm not crazy enough to try and overrule her, just wait a little longer then you can watch it until midnight," Marcus said getting cheers.
Stepping back into the trunk he picked up his box then went to the door to his room, "Hey I'm going for a shower so you all know I'm in there and don't walk in on accident,"
"Okay." four voices called from the other side of the door before chattering and laughter began again.
After a good thirty-minute shower Marcus dressed in his outfit wishing he could just wear the tuxedo and leave off the outer layer of robes.
Leaving the bathroom he found that the girls were still in the room doing whatever they needed, shaking his head he left the trunk and found Harry sitting on a couch looking uncomfortable in his get-up and the little girls giving him dreamy looks.
Harry still had his glasses on and was holding the small box the contacts were in, when the group noticed his presence Alice pounced on him, "Wow big brother you look nice," she said circling him.
Harry gave a sigh of relief when the girls crowded around Marcus, laughing he smiled down to the group, "Wait until you see Emma and the others."
Harry stood and approached Marcus holding up the box with a question on his face, "Conntact lenses, charmed to stay clean and automatically match the prescription you will need, Emma got them thinking that if you get bumped into you would still be able to see," Marcus told him.
Harry looked at the box, " I don't know how to put them in," he said holding the box out to Marcus.
Taking the box Marcus opened it and turned it for Harry to see them, "It's easy to touch the lens with the tip of your finger then when it is stuck you put it in your eye blink a few times to adjust then repeat,"
The group watched as Harry took off his glasses felt around for the box got a lens on his finger and brought it to his eye then blinked rapidly and repeated the process for the other eye.
After a few seconds, Harry looked around awed that everything was so clear, between the bad prescription and scratched-up lenses of his glasses the world was at most a blur a dozen or more feet away.
"Wow that's much better I can see a lot more than with my glasses," he said continuing to look around until something behind Marcus caught his attention.
Marcus turned to find Emma and the other three exiting the trunk, Emma was wearing a beautiful red dress that accentuated her figure, the red against her fair complexion made her seem to glow, and her hair was done up with intricate braids allowing the diadem to shine.
Hermione was next in her periwinkle gown showing that she was indeed a young woman who hid her figure in slightly baggy clothing, her hair was done just as it was in the movie, and the jewelry was a bonus that added to her looking stunning.
While Daphne and Tracey also dressed up for the night and looked lovely in the dresses they wore, next to Emma and Hermione they almost looked plain, It was most likely because the two Slytherin girls always looked beautiful where Emma and Hermione dressed for comfort hiding their figure most of the time.
Harry had eyes only for Hermione, seeing her in the dress that showed off her figure had him licking his suddenly dry lips after all these years of being around her in clothing that hid her figure had not prepared him for now.
Hermione was just as stunned at the change in Harry's looks, she knew he wore those ragged and oversized clothes because that was all his family would give him, but now in these clothes and no eyeglasses she could see the the handsome man he was growing to be.
The moment was broken by all the younger girls in the room for the slumber party crowding the four older girls, the squealing and chattering reached levels that hurt the ears of everyone.
Marcus stepped to Emma's side wiggling a finger in his ear to stop the ringing, "You do good work" he said wrapping an arm around her waist.
"I had a good canvas, the girl hid it well but after tonight nobody will see the image she built by wearing baggy stuff, I even got her to let me adjust her teeth, poor Harry is going to be fighting off the boys wanting to get close to her all night if he can remember to breathe," she replied as she leaned into him.
Marcus looked to see that Harry was starting to turn purple from not breathing, giving a soft chuckle he nodded then extended his arm to poke Hermione in the side, " Better catch your boyfriend before he passes out,"
Hermione jumped with a squeak when he poked her then frowned at him till he spoke, she turned just in time to see Harry starting to fall, rushing forward to catch him she almost went to the floor with him.
Everyone in the room watched the two for a second before Daphne spoke, "Brave Gryffindor that one," everyone laughed even Hermione.
"I believe that we found a way to beat him, all we have to do is take Hermione away for a few hours and dress her up, and bam we've conquered the hero," Tracey had to say.
Hermione huffed at that one, " It's not me it was you three," she denied
Emma was shaking her head, "Oh sweetheart that boy didn't see the three of us, I'd bet that the three of us could have come out in our nickers and he wouldn't have noticed,"
Hermione who had gotten Harry to the couch by now was looking over her shoulder at Emma mouth agape and blushing a very bright red, Daphne and Tracey nodded in agreement to Emma's statement.
Harry's groaning took her attention from the others, she turned and found his eyes open wide and roving all over what he could see of her, "Wow," was all he could say.
"Come on you two we have fifteen minutes till it starts and McGonagall wanted us to be early," Marcus said to get Harry to focus on something other than Hermione for a moment.
That seemed to have worked because Harry sat up so quickly that he almost fell off the couch, Hermione had to steady him as he stood on wobbly feet.
After a quick check and strengthening of dresses and hair to give Harry a bit more time to steady himself the six went to the door, Marcus turned to the group of girls that were staying for the slumber party, "Behave and enjoy your get together, I've asked the castle elves to bring you all dinner so no loading up on sweets,"
The girls pouted when he said not to only eat sweets, girls after all had a second stomach for sweets alone, but they also knew better than not to listen to him because although nice most of the time Marcus could get scary if angered.
The walk down to the entrance hall was interesting to watch, every person who saw the group did a double-take when they realized that the girl on Harry's arm was Hermione.
"Is that Granger?" was asked by many.
"No way Granger doesn't have the body to look like that," was the most common answer.
Hermione did not hear the questions or answers, she was focused on not embarrassing Harry and herself by tripping and falling as they navigated the stairs.
When the group finally reached the entrance to the great hall all conversation stopped as everyone saw them and quite a few of the boys were eyeing Hermione and Emma the same was happening with the girls eyeing Marcus and Harry.
For Emma and Hermione, it was how the dresses fit them and showed a lot more than the ones worn by the others.
For Marcus and Harry, it was that the robes were not frilly and fluffy like the other boys wore the fit also showed some of their physiques which for Harry had changed a lot after the meal with the horntail, her saliva helped him grow quite a bit in height and body mass in the last month.
"Everyone please enter the great hall and take your seats, champions to me," McGonagall called out as she approached the group and looked them over giving a nod and smile.
It took a few minutes for everyone to enter the great hall as they were moving McGonagall was speaking to the champions and their dates.
"Once everyone is seated we shall introduce each couple, once called please make your way to the Head table join the headmasters/ mistress, and stand until all four pairs are there, we shall start with Miss Delicur and Mister Daveys followed by Mister Krum and Miss Chang, then Mr. and Mrs. Phoenix and finally Mister Potter and Miss Granger," after informing the couples she turned to enter the great hall to begin the night's event.
As they stood and waited Marcus looked over the other two couples Roger Daveys was there in body but his mind was gone, drool was forming in the corner of his mouth, Fleur was dressed in a lovely silver evening gown that must be loaded with heating charm due to the Scottish winter even with fires blazing the castle was cold if you weren't used to it.
Victor was dressed in a military-like robe with some kind of fur on the shoulders, and Cho Chang was in a Chinese-style dress that while not revealing much more than the skin of her arms did hug her figure tightly.
Marcus did notice that Krum was giving Harry a look filled with hate for having Hermione on his arm while Cho was looking at Hermione in shock.
Fleur was pretty much not paying attention to the others as she was constantly having to keep her partner from trying to feel her up or attack the other two males for being so close.
When the doors to the great hall opened again the four couples lined up in the order Minerva gave them and waited for the introduction.
"Everyone please stand and welcome the Tri-wizard champions, first to enter is Fleur Delicur and her lucky date Roger Daveys," the voice of Lee Jordan called out followed by Minerva's now traditional 'Jordan'
Fleur led Roger to the head table holding his arm tightly to keep him from going after any male he thought was too close.
"Next we have Seeker extraordinaire Victor Krum and his date the lovely Cho Chang," Lee introduced accompanied by another 'Jordan' from Minerva.
Krum duck walked to the table while Cho gracefully glided along, some thought she was being held up by a levitation charm as her steps were small but she kept pace with the long steps of Victor.
"Now joining us are our very own Marcus Pheonix and his lovely wife 'sorry ladies' Emma," Lee continued earning another 'Jordan' called out.
Marcus and Emma walked into the room to see the house tables gone and many small round tables spread throughout the room with students around each standing and watching them walk, when they reached the head table Marcus could see Minerva quietly telling Lee to behave.
"And finally we have our very own dragon son Harry Potter and his date for the evening and possibly more after Hermione Granger," this close the call of 'Jordan' was very loud.
As Harry and Hermione entered the room a gasp rang out as everyone saw Hermione, Marcus could hear many boys asking ' Where was she hiding that,' or 'Why does she hide such a nice body?' much to the abrogation of many of the girls attending the ball, but Marcus could also see some witches witches eyeing Hermione just as the boys were with lust filling their eyes.
Minerva ushered everyone to sit down and gave a short speech about tradition and international cooperation before beginning the meal, Emma explained the menus to Harry who told Hermione.
As they ate and chatted Marcus was also looking around the room most everyone was enjoying the evening, but one person stood out though, Ron Weasley was sitting at a table with the Patil twins and Lavander Brown, all three girls looked disgusted with the boy he was alternating between stuffing his face glaring at Harry and Hermione and spraying food as he spoke.
Marcus pointed this out to Emma, " I don't know if any of the three are his date but he has already ruined their night."
Emma nodded "It will turn out ol Neville will dance with them and cheer them up, look at the female weasel if looks could kill Hermione would be dead ten times over by now."
After half an hour Minerva stood, "The champions shall now open the dance, everyone please clear," she said waiting for the students to move then waved her wand levitating the now clean tables along the wall.
The four couples stood and walked out to the dancefloor, when the music started Marcus led Emma in the waltz out of the corner of his eyes he saw Harry and Hermione dancing almost as gracefully as he and Emma were but the other couples were not doing as well.
Victor was stiff and his bowlegs did not help where Roger was now drooling so bad Fleur held him at arm's length making the dance just the two going in circles.
About halfway through the song other couples joined them in dancing everyone gave the two Hogwarts couples plenty of room.
After the song finished Marcus led Emma to Harry and Hermione, "How about swapping partners for a song?"
The two younger teens looked at each other and nodded, " Yes I think that would be nice," They said in unison.
"You two have spent too much time around the twins," Emma said with a laugh in her voice.
Swapping partners Marcus pulled Hermione a bit away from Harry and Emma, taking her hand in his and placing the other on her hip as she lay her free hand on his shoulder.
"Are you enjoying the ball so far?" he asked as they danced along with the music.
Smiling shyly and with a small nod, she answered, "Very much and I think Harry is as well though from here it looks like he is afraid of touching Emma," there was mirth in her voice.
"Yeah, that poor boy only has you that he can touch without flinching, one dance will be fine I think, oh before I forget watch out for Ron and Ginny, neither looks happy that you and Harry came together," he told her receiving a nod.
"I know, Harry told me about the robes, and our family rings have warned us about some potions but without proof, we can not do anything right now," she said with a frown.
After that they chatted about the school year so far and the tournament, it seemed that they had figured out the clue from the egg and neither was happy after realizing that she would most likely be used as a hostage.
When the song finished they swapped back and went to the refreshment table for drinks and then sat at an empty table near the Patil twins and Lavender, Ron was with his sister and the two seemed to be arguing.
"I need to speak with the Heads and McGonagall," Marcus said after seeing the people he needed to talk to together near the antechamber door.
Weaving his way to the three he waited for them to acknowledge him, "I need to speak with you three about the tournament," before they could begin arguing that he was trying to get information about the next task he raised a hand.
"I already know what the task is and don't want to talk about that part it's a more personal thing I need to tell you, can we go into the antechamber I prefer to keep this private for now," he said moving to the door the other three following.
"Very well Mr Phoenix what is so important that you felt the need to take us away from the ball?" Minerva asked.
"I've figured out that clue, it wasn't that hard but that's not what I need to speak about," he started to say until he saw a lump of Gold on the floor and walked to get a better look, the teachers following his eyes.
As he got a closer look he saw gems in the lump then it hit him that he was looking at the remnants of the goblet of fire, " We may have a problem," he said just as the others realized what they were looking at.
The three started scanning the lump with their wands and then they all in shock sat down in chairs, it was Madame Maxime who spoke first.
"How is this possible, there is no more magic in the goblet, and the contract is annulled, Without the goblet, we can not continue with the tournament," she almost sounded relieved about it truth be told.
"It must have been the event after the first task," Minerva said after a few minutes.
The replacement for Karkaroff looked relieved as well, "Durmstrang's governors did not truly want to take part in this but Dumbledor pushed until they caved to the pressure he put on them."
Maxime nodded and said it was the same for her school, after some back and forth they decided to speak with the unspeakables before taking action, they also told Marcus to not tell anyone until they had a plan.
"In case the tournament continues you all need to know Emma is pregnant, about a month along, even with spells to keep her asleep under the water in the lake will work on her the pressure of the water will crush the baby, I hereby forbid using her as my hostage, also my wards Alice Maresato and Luna Lovegood will not be used if you must, use a golem that would be fine and I think safer for the others as well.," he said and received nods from the three who seemed to like the idea of using golems.
He left the room after that to let them talk about what could happen with the goblet gone as well as Albus in the hospital there really was no one forcing them to remain, as he was walking an idea struck him deciding to wait and see what is to come from the investigation of the goblet
