Max and Duke leaned in closely. They were listening as Katie, Hiro, Liam,Chuck and Aunt Cass were all talking. Katie, Hiro, Liam, Chuck and Aunt Cass were all sitting around their table. They were talking and laughing. They were having salads and ramen. While as the family continued eating, there was joking.
"So, how's life with little Liam?",asked Aunt Cass,
She let out a smirk across on her face. Katie then looked up at her aunt and giggled.
"Oh! He's great and getting so big.",giggled Katie.
Aunt Cass smiled with joy.
"Good. I remembered that you used to be like that when you were Liam's age.",said Aunt Cass.
She continued to smile. Hearing that made Katie happy. The thought of it makes her sad too. She knows that her son, Liam, wouldn't be able to meet his grandparents or even gotten to meet his Uncle Tadashi. When Liam was born, it was just her and Chuck in the hospital room before they started letting people in. Duke and Max were left to be looked after Chuck's parents. After a week of staying in the hospital, Aunt Cass and Hiro both flew from Sans Fransokyo to New York to see baby Liam. She remembers it being a beautiful moment and it reminded her how beautiful life is. Katie looked up closely and smiled.
"Thank you Aunt Cass." ,she said while she continued to eat.
Aunt Cass went back to eating her food as well. After a while, the entire family was busily focused eating on their foods, grunting with pleasure . Katie looked directly at Hiro.
"So, how was school?",she asked him.
Hiro went completely silent. He was unsure what to say to Katie. He was afraid to tell her.
