In Class 1-M's dormitory...
Marinette was already up and out of her room. She had already gotten dressed and was eating her cereal and orange juice for breakfast. Adrien sat next to her, enjoying some breakfast with her. Everyone was getting ready for school, and it was actually pretty quiet. Even Chloe was unnecessarily quiet this morning, and she even looked happy to be here.
"What's gotten you so chipper this morning?" Adrien asked as she sat down across from them.
Chloe didn't seem to notice as she got ready to have some of her breakfast.
"Oh! No reason..." Chloe said as she tried to avoid eye contact with them, "Just... excited to start school is all."
Adrien and Marinette shared a knowing look and noticed that Chloe was twirling her hair. She only does that around Bakugo they've noticed.
"This wouldn't happen to be about Katsuki, would it?" Marinette asked with a smile.
"Katsuki! No, I just... really want to get back to learning about quirks and... stuff..." Chloe said as she tried to come up with something.
Marinette noticed her cheeks turning red and knew right away that all she wanted to do was walk to school with him. She noticed that Chloe was definitely hanging out with Bakugo a lot more lately. She even seemed a little closer to Kirishima.
"Chloe, you don't have to hide it from us," Marinette said to her, "We both know that you like Katsuki. It's pretty obvious."
Chloe tried to avoid it, but she couldn't take it anymore.
"Alright, fine. I like Katsuki," Chloe admitted, "But I do actually like going to this school. It's kind of cool learning about heroes and quirks."
"Yeah. It is pretty cool here," Adrien said back, "I even got to hero train with AllMight. That's not something you get to do everyday."
Before they could continue with their breakfast, AllMight and Su Han came walking out of the hallway. They looked ready for school, but they both stood by the front door for some reason.
"Alright everyone! No need to worry! You wanna know why... Because I am here!" AllMight called out as he transformed into his buff form for a split second.
Everyone was confused as to why he just announced himself like that. Marinette and Adrien were just excited to see him use his catchphrase. Once he detransformed, he continued with the announcement. Su Han stood there looking about ready to head out with all of them.
"Me and Mr. Aizawa have planned a special little field trip for you and Class 1-A!" AllMight announced, "We're going to the AllMight museum!"
Everyone was shocked to hear this, but were excited to get out of the school and explore Japan a little bit. Even Marinette and Adrien were excited to finally go somewhere that actually might be fun and interesting.
"Wait, when did this happen?" Marinette asked him, "This seems like a last minute thing, doesn't it?"
"Yes! It is!" AllMight called out, "But Young Midoriya called me last night. He thought that all of you deserved a little something for helping us out! Even Mr. Aizawa agreed with me that this was a good field trip for all of you!"
Once AllMight mentioned Midoriya, she wondered if he was planning on going to his mom's apartment. She knew something was going on with him right away just by the fact that this was a last minute field trip. Once everyone was done with their breakfast, AllMight and Su Han led them out of the dormitory. They soon came across Mr. Aizawa walking out of the Class 1-A dormitory and grouped up together. Class 1-A and M all joined together as they walked over to the front gate.
"This is so cool! We're actually going to the AllMight museum!" Adrien cried out.
"I can't wait to just see what your Japan is like," Chloe said to them.
"Yeah. It's kind of weird, isn't it? That AllMight just suddenly wanted to take us all to this brand new museum," Marinette said as she gave Midoriya a suspicious look.
Midoriya looked a little flustered and tried to avoid eye contact with Marinette.
"Ah haha... Weird. Right," Midoriya said back as he rubbed the back of his head, "AllMight and I just really wanted to go the AllMight museum. I just thought that everyone else would love to go for a little field trip."
Midoriya noticed Mr. Aizawa giving him a suspicious look, and he tried not to flinch.
Soon enough, they all ended up by the front gate with all of the buses parked in front of them. Midoriya had serious de ja vu while standing there to go get ready for a little field trip.
"I can't be the only one feeling a sense of de ja vu right now, right?" Uraraka asked them.
"Oh yes. I do," Yaoyorozu said back, "Hopefully no one will get transported to another dimension."
"That's a good one, Yaoyorozu!" Ashido cried out.
Then Midoriya looked around, maybe expecting a little girl to show up. Once he noticed that she wasn't around with Mr. Aizawa, he a little upset that Eri wouldn't be joining them again. He understood why though since there would be a lot of people around them. It would probably freak her out.
He just hoped that once things settle down and go back to normal, he can go see her soon.
They all got in line as Marinette and Iida got their classes to enter the buses separately. Mr. Aizawa went with Class 1-A, and AllMight and Su Han went with Class 1-M. Before they all left, someone came running towards them. AllMight let them through the bus to find Melissa joining them for the field trip.
"Melissa?!" Class 1-M cried out in unison.
"What're you doing here?" Marinette asked her.
"AllMight invited me. He knew that I'd wanna join in on the fun," Melissa said to them, "My dad even helped with AllMight's costumes, so it would be kind of amazing to see them out in the open, you know?"
Melissa sat down with Marinette and Adrien, happy to be here.
They soon left the campus and headed out. The AllMight museum wasn't far away, but Mr. Aizawa wasn't going to allow them to go unless they went in a bus together.
Marinette sat on the bus with Adrien and held hands with him. Chloe sat with Sabrina and Kagami while Kim, Nino and Max sat together looking out the window. Marc and Juleka kept to themselves, but also enjoyed looking out at the city to see all of the amazing quirks that were around here.
"Wow! This is cool!" Kim cried out, "There's so many different quirks here!"
"Yeah. That's kind of what it's like here," Chloe said to him, "Did you not listen to a single thing while you were here?"
"I can't imagine how many amazing heroes there are here!" Max cried out, "The population for quirks is eighty percent, right?"
"Yeah. That's what Izuku told us," Adrien said to them, "He was quirkless, so he one of the twenty percent that didn't get one."
Marinette looked over at AllMight and noticed that he heard him mentioning Midoriya. He looked a little nervous about something but didn't say anything. Marinette got up carefully and sat next to AllMight.
"Are you okay, Mr. Yagi?" Marinette asked him.
"Young Marinette. Yeah. I'm okay," AllMight said to her.
"Please, just call me Marinette," She said to him with a smile, "I just noticed that you were looking a little nervous about something. Does this have to with Izuku?"
"You're good," AllMight said back with a nervous smile, "I just hope that Young Midoriya is doing okay without One for All. I know that you guys were able to awaken it somehow, but he still can't use it properly."
Marinette worried about him too, but she knew that they'd get his Miraculous back soon. In the meantime, Lila had it and wasn't going anywhere without it.
"I'll make sure that we get his Miraculous back. I've dealt with people like Chrysalis before," Marinette said with a smile, "They won't stop until they get what they want. I knew Chrysalis way before she became... well, Chrysalis. She lies all the time just to get what she wants. Everyone in my class fell for it except for me and Adrien. But now things are different, we all know what she's capable of. We'll stop her and get One for All back."
Marinette could tell that he wasn't expecting all of that. She could tell that he really wanted to do something for Midoriya.
"If this is what I can do for him, then I'm glad that we're going this museum," AllMight said to her, "I'm at least glad that he has you guys to help each other out. I'm really fascinated by how One for All enhanced your Miraculous. It's pretty amazing."
"Yeah. It's kind of complicated, but I'm at least glad that I was able to help keep some of the power away from Chrysalis," Marinette said to him, "Izuku really wants to go after Chrysalis, but right now Mr. Aizawa just won't let him."
Marinette stopped for a moment and realized that he might be using this opportunity to go see her. She really hoped that she was wrong about this.
"AllMight, did Izuku mention anything else to you about this field trip?" Marinette asked him.
"Not really. I just talked to Young Midoriya last night. He thought that this would be a great way for all of you to have some time out of U.A.," AllMight explained to her.
Marinette knew that he talked to him since AllMight announced it to them, but she wondered if he was doing this for a reason.
"Did Izuku say anything else?" Marinette asked him.
AllMight thought about it for a moment, and Marinette was worried that Midoriya did something behind their backs.
"No. He just wanted everyone to have a little field trip since it's kind of important to you guys," AllMight said back to her, "Why, is something wrong?"
Marinette thought about it for a moment and wondered what he was up to. She really hoped that she was wrong since they weren't in Paris anymore.
"No. Everything's okay. I just need to talk to him, that's all," Marinette said back to him.
Marinette sat with AllMight for a moment, letting him relax a bit. She could tell that AllMight was a little suspicious of Midoriya, but didn't want to bring it up. He clearly hoped that he wouldn't do anything stupid. Then Marinette got up and walked back over to Adrien.
"Is everything okay?" Adrien asked her as she sat down.
Marinette looked back at AllMight and back at Adrien. She smiled, feeling a little nervous.
"Yeah. Everything's okay."
In the streets of Japan...
Lila walked with Mrs. Midoriya and Gabriel as if they had known each other for a while now. She smiled alongside Mrs. Midoriya, wondering what this AllMight museum was like. It's not she wanted to go, but she did grow curious about the guy. She never met him, just saw pictures and that video of him from the machine. She knew that he was the retired Symbol of Peace just based on Midoriya's talks and conversations about him. Mrs. Midoriya basically confirmed it the other day when they getting dinner ready.
"So AllMight, huh? He seems cool!" Lila exclaimed, "I mean, when do you ever get the chance to meet the Symbol of Peace?"
"He is pretty amazing. My son is such a big fan of him as you can tell," Mrs. Midoriya said back.
"Yes. I could tell just by his room of collectibles," Lila said with a smile, "He must really look up to him. Almost like a dad!"
Lila could tell that Mrs. Midoriya was a little bothered by that for some reason. She didn't say much about Midoriya's dad Lila noticed. She even noticed that there were no pictures of him anywhere. Lila wondered what might've happened between them.
"Well, AllMight is very strong and an amazing pro hero," Mrs. Midoriya said back with a sweat drop forming on her forehead, "Izuku really looks up to him just like everyone else."
Lila could tell that she was trying to avoid the subject of her husband. She let it slide for now since they were almost there. She could see the long line into the museum. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at all of the people and civilians wearing AllMight cosplay, shirts, hats and even backpacks. That's all she could see was the ridiculous merchandise that this man had everywhere.
"I think we found it," Mrs. Midoriya said to her with a laugh, "Come on, we better get in line before it gets really crowded."
Lila and Gabriel walked over to the line with her. Lila could tell that Gabriel really didn't want to be here, but he knew that it would be suspicious if he didn't go with them. Lila felt so out of place here, especially when she was one of the few people that didn't wear any sort of merchandise.
"Isn't it a little weird coming here without any AllMight merchandise?" Lila asked her.
"I've got some right here if you want them," Mrs. Midoriya said as she grabbed a hat, "I didn't think you'd want any since you just got here. Maybe we can get something inside."
Lila didn't wear the hat, but then she realized that someone might recognize her. If there were any people here from U.A., they would definitely notice her. She grabbed it and put it on. She even pulled out her hair and put it in a ponytail with the hat on.
"That's actually kind of cute like that!" Mrs. Midoriya said to her.
"Aw! Thank you Mrs. Midoriya," Lila said back with a smile, "Do you have anything for my dad to wear?"
Mrs. Midoriya's eyes lit up and dug through her backpack. Gabriel flinched when Lila gave him a sly smile.
"Yes! I've got another hat and shirt. Which do you want, Gabi?" Mrs. Midoriya asked him.
Lila couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous either one of them would look on him. He looked like he wanted to run out of the line and never look back. Mrs. Midoriya's eyes sparkled, and he immediately went for the one thing that didn't look absolutely ridiculous on him.
"I'll just take the hat. Th-Thank you Mrs. Midoriya," Gabriel said back as he put it on.
"Please, call me Inko," She said back with a smile, "We've known each other long enough to call each other by our first names."
"O-Okay Inko," Gabriel said to her.
Soon enough, the line started moving. Once they got inside, a few buses from U.A. pulled up to come see the new AllMight museum.
With Class 1-A...
Midoriya felt so much better once he saw the AlMight museum right in front of him. Even though he was here to check on his mom, he couldn't help but smile at seeing AllMight's tribute to all of the amazing things that he's done. Even some of his classmates were so happy to finally see it.
"Wow! This is going to be so cool!" Midoriya cried out.
"Yeah! There hasn't been a museum like this before!" Kirishima cried back, "Maybe for other pro heroes, but not for the Symbol of Peace."
"I've gotta admit, this is pretty amazing to see so many people coming to see it," Yaoyorozu said to them.
"This has to be a little weird for AllMight," Iida said to them, "He's going to have to come with us. I hope he has some sort of disguise or something."
Midoriya didn't even think about that and started to feel bad for him. He looked around in his backpack to see if he had anything for him that might help AllMight. He pulled out a hat and sunglasses, hoping that might be enough. He held onto the hat and sunglasses as the bus came to a stop. Once Mr. Aizawa and Iida got them in a line, they all headed out together. Midoriya spotted AllMight coming out of the bus, and he quickly ran off to go to him.
Mr. Aizawa tried to stop him, but Midoriya got to AllMight before he stepped out of the bus. He pulled him back inside Class 1-M's bus, which confused him so much.
"Young Midoriya! What're you doing?" AllMight cried out.
"AllMight, I'm sorry for not noticing this before," Midoriya said as he handed him the hat and sunglasses, "I didn't even think about you needing to wear a disguise. This is your museum after all."
Just based on AllMight's reaction, Midoriya could tell that he forgot about it as well.
"Thanks Young Midoriya. I can't believe that I actually forgot about that," AllMight said back to him as he grabbed the hat and sunglasses, "Although, you did call me at the last minute last night."
Midoriya laughed nervously, noticing how weird that must've been.
"Yeah. Sorry about that," Midoriya said as he rubbed the back of his head, "I just felt like Marinette and her class deserved a day out of U.A."
AllMight tucked his hair into the hat as best he could. Midoriya looked around a little nervously and hoped that his mom was around here somewhere. He just had to be sure that those two were Lila and Gabriel. As long as they weren't, he'd be okay with that.
"Young Midoriya, are sure that you're okay?" AllMight asked him once he was done with his hair.
"What? Ye-Yeah! I'm okay! I'm just hoping that no one will notice you is all," Midoriya said back to him.
Midoriya could tell that AllMight was worried about him. He didn't want him to think that while he was trying to find his mom. Midoriya headed back out of the bus, and AllMight followed him. They both went back to their respective classes, and Midoriya looked back at AllMight. He could tell that the disguise wasn't the best, he knew that it might help somewhat. The hair was at least hidden, which made it so much better.
They all stood in line with so many others that were entering the museum. A lot of them noticed that U.A. students were here and even recognized Class 1-A. Midoriya smiled nervously and was at least glad that AllMight had a disguise. It took a while to get into the museum, but Iida and Marinette were able to keep everyone together.
"Are you sure about this, Izuku?" Uraraka asked him, "You know that you're going to get in trouble."
"I don't care about that. I care about whether or not my mom's needs me," Midoriya said back.
Soon enough, they were all inside. Midoriya's eyes lit up when he saw the amazing AllMight statues and pictures of him. He couldn't stop staring at how amazing everything looked in here. He felt like a little kid again walking through the entrance. There was a sign above a giant statue of him from his silver age costume that made Midoriya almost tear up.
The Symbol of Peace.
Another amazing chapter!
This was actually one of my favorite chapters to write because this is the start to one of my favorite arcs! The AllMight museum was kind of a last minute thing to add in but ended up being one of my favorite arcs in this sequel! I actually really enjoy it a lot, writing and reading it! Something about it is just so wholesome!
Lila and Gabriel are finally here at the AllMight museum! This is going to get interesting...
AllMight has a pretty bad disguise, lol!
More to come soon!
