Huntresses of Fairy Tail

~5th Night~

"Seriously Raion, why are you acting this way right now?" Yang questioned, as she and Blake followed Raion back into the house, with the sun rising, while Ruby and Weiss were settling on their morning cups of coffee.

"Because I said that this matter is far more serious, then originally thought." Raion said.

"What's going on?" Weiss asked.

"We just got back from the Guild and Master's forbade us from going back to Fazbears. Says it's too dangerous." Yang said.

"No one from Team RWBY is going back to Freddy Fazbears tonight." Raion said. "I'm going back alone. The animatronics are too dangerous to be around at this point."

"What?" Ruby asked. "But we had so much fun last night. I liked being scared by them."

"Well I was not looking forward to another night of scares from those possessed robots." Weiss said. "I'll still be expecting you to fulfill your promise Ruby."

"Raion, could you please just tell us, what is going on?" Blake asked.

"It's complicated." Raion stated.

"I don't see, what the hell's so complicated about what's happening." Yang said. "Obviously, there's more then just Geist and the restless spirits happening at Fazbears."

"I called in the job, and informed Master of Code Demon King." Raion said.

"Demon King?" Weiss asked.

"What's code Demon King?" Yang asked.

"Code Demon King, is the code used for stating that a job that was thought to be enough for a single lower class Huntsman to handle, has to be reevaluated to S-Class, or has been taken over by an S-Class Huntsman as their decree." Ruby said, with the four others looking to her in shock. "What? Mira sent us all a copy of the codes and what they mean. I got bored last night and read through them all, memorized them as well."

"So, what makes this job so dangerous it's now S-Class?" Blake inquired.

"The restless spirits, and the missing children." Raion said.

"What about them?" Yang asked.

"They're one in the same." Raion said, packing equipment and tools into his bag. "The restless spirits, are the souls of those children who went missing. The most recent one happened, nearly ten years ago before the pizzeria was shut down."

"I don't understand, what you're saying Raion." Weiss said.

"The animatronics are being possessed by those spirits, okay?" Raion said. "The restless spirits of those kids, are possessing the animatronics, and now there's no telling how dangerous they really are. Even Seras, is among them."

"Who's Seras?" Blake asked.

Raion just sighed, resting his hands on the counter top, before he sealed his bag, and went for the door.

"Ruby, Yang, call your dad. Ask him about Seras, and what happened to her." Raion said. "I'm going out for a while. I won't be back for a few days."

~Bowling Alley~

"Oh yeah, that's a gutter ball right there." Gajeel smirked, sitting behind the scoreboard terminal. "Man, what is with you today Raion? You're off you A-Game. What gives?"

"Says the man currently living in a gutter himself." Raion said.

"Hay, low blow man low blow." Gajeel said.

"Sorry, sorry. I shouldn't be taking my frustrations out on you." Raion sighed, as they sat at the table connected to their lane.

"What's going on with you man? You're never like this." Gajeel said. "What, your last job go sour or something?"

Raion was quiet for a moment, before he looked at Gajeel and took a drink of his ale.

"My last job is still my current one." Raion said. "Only problem is, I had to bump it up to S-Class priority, and kick Team RWBY off it."

"An' they're mad at ya for it, huh?" Gajeel asked.

"Not really. Yang and Blake are a little pissy about my decision, but they understand." Raion said. "The thing is… Okay you ever hear of Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria?"

"Yeah, that shitty abandoned Pizzeria in the middle of down town Magnolia, what about it?" Gajeel asked.

"The job was to be a night guard, for about a week. Me, Yang, Blake one night, while Ruby and Weiss went the next, and we'd rotate out with that system. But the problem is, the souls of the missing children, have possessed the animatronics there, and it's bad."

"How bad we talking?" Gajeel asked.

"I can smell, rotting flesh coming from the animatronics." Raion said.

"Yikes." Gajeel said, raising his ale. "That is bad."

"Worst part… Seras is possessing the Tiana Tyger animatronic, and her body might actually be inside it." Raion stated, his words causing Gajeel to stop as he was about to take a drink of his ale. "I found her Gajeel, I found Seras."

"Oh man." Gajeel sighed, genuine sympathy in his voice. "I am truly sorry, you gotta go through this brother. No one, should have to deal with that kind of torment on their moral compass."

"An' you know what really stings?" Raion asked. "I'm the only one, out of me and Yang, who remembers Seras. Makes sense though, since Yang was younger then the both of us at the time of the incident. The three of us, were inseparable when we were together, and Seras was always the bravest one out of the three of us. Made the most sense for her to be like that, since she was a living miracle."

~RWBY~

"What do you think Raion meant, when he said we should call dad and ask him about Seras?" Ruby asked.

"I think he meant, dad has something to tell us." Yang said.

"Whatever it is, I'm sure you two would like to discuss this with him, alone." Blake said.

"Blake's right, this is a family matter, which means we're not needed." Weiss added.

"No, please stay." Yang said. "To be honest, I get the feeling that Raion might have been onto something, and I'm scared about what that might be."

"Please Weiss?" Ruby asked, looking at her with pleading eyes.

"Okay, you don't gotta twist my arm." Weiss said. "Put those puppy eyes away Ruby. They're lethal."

"Alright, should we call him on the big monitor?" Yang asked.

"It would make the most sense to do that." Ruby said, picking up her Scroll.

Dialing her fathers number, Ruby swiped the image upwards, and towards the television across from them in the living room, rerouting the signal and the call to transmit through the TV, as Tai picked up.

"Hello?" Tai said kinda tired, as the video showed him laying on his side in bed.

"Hi dad." Ruby said. "Do you have a minute to talk?"

"Ruby, do you have any idea what time it is for me here in Vale right now?" Tai asked.

"Sorry dad, but we just needed to ask you a couple questions." Yang said.

"Can they wait until a bit later for me Yang? It's three in the morning, and I have classes to teach." Tai said.

"Dad…" Ruby began. "Who's Seras?"

That question seemed to draw Tai's attention to them, as he looked wide awake, and looked towards them with worried curiosity.

"Where did you hear that name Ruby?" Tai asked, as he sat up in bed, a look of concern on his face.

"Raion, told us to call you, and ask who she was." Yang said. "We took a job at Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria and…"

"Hold up, Freddy's? I thought that place shut down like ten years ago?" Tai asked.

"It did, but the owner still hires night security, because they can't seem to demolish it, for sentimental reasons." Blake said, showing she and Weiss were sitting next to Ruby and Yang.

"Dad, do you know something about Freddy's?" Ruby asked. "Does it have anything to do with Seras?"

Tai sighed, as he realized this was gonna be a long night, and that he was gonna need some coffee, seeing as he was already awake. They could tell this was a subject of conversation, he was not all too keen on visiting.

"If you're gonna learn the truth, you need to tell me, exactly what happened to cause Raion to tell you to come and ask me about Seras." Tai said, the video showing he was heading out of his room, with a sleepy Zwei following him. "He wouldn't tell you to contact me, unless it was absolutely necessary."

~Raion~

"You sure you wanna do this pal?" Gajeel asked, as they were still sitting at their bowling lane. "I'd be more then happy to tear the place down for you, and end it all right now."

"No, that wouldn't allow the restless spirits to find peace. They'd just be trapped in an even worse limbo then they already are." Raion said. "What I have to do, is set their souls to rest, before I destroy the entire place."

"An' how do you intend on doing that?" Gajeel inquired.

"There are three methods I can do to go about this." Raion said. "The first would be to find their bodies, and give them a proper burial. With their remains laid to rest, or with their next of kin, they'll be able to pass on, away from their prisons of wires and steel."

"The second method?" Gajeel asked.

"If they're still restless after they receive a proper burial, then I'll have to burn their remains." Raion stated.

"What about option three?" Gajeel asked.

Raion just looked to Gajeel, before letting out a deep breath.

"I find the man who murdered them, and I kill him in the most brutal way I can imagine possible." Raion stated. "An' that's a personal preference."

"Damn, that's dark man." Gajeel said.

"It is, but I don't care. I have a personal score to settle with that madman." Raion stated, before his Scroll went off. "What is it Cortana?"

"Raion, I have found something interesting about the job posting you're gonna wanna see." Cortana said, before projecting her findings to him.

~RWBY~

"Before I explain anything, you girls need to know that the events of what I'm about to tell you, happened about a month or so, before Ruby was even born." Tai said, the video feed showing he was pouring himself a cup of freshly brewed coffee. "Which is why I was surprised, when Ruby was the one who brought up Seras's name."

"So Ruby wouldn't have any recollection about Seras." Weiss said. "But Yang would."

"Locked away, somewhere deep because of her young age. She was only two at the time." Tai said. "Yang, this might be hard for you to hear, but you aren't my first born kid."

"Uh, hold up what?" Yang asked.

"You and Ruby, both had an older sister. She was a Faunus, but wasn't a normal Faunus. I don't know if you girls learned about this race or not already, but Seras was a Demi. However, she wasn't of any animals that Demi's normally come as." Tai said. "Seras was the same age as Raion, with their birthdays only being a few days apart, as Raions came before hers, meaning they grew up together before Raven and I had you, and they were the best of friends. Seras was Raven's firstborn as well, she was your full biological sister, in fact her personal style was practically identical to Ruby's. I shouldn't be surprised though, as Seras idolized Summer, and wanted to be just like her."

"So, what kind of Demi was Seras?" Weiss asked.

"That's the thing Ms. Schnee." Tai said. "Seras was a silver eyed Tyger Demi. She was the first Grimm Demi, to ever exist in all recorded history."

"How could that be? That shouldn't be possible for a Faunus or Demi to have Grimm traits." Blake said.

"Normally you'd be right about that Ms. Belladonna." Tai said. "But Raven was once a member of Fairy Tail, at the exact same time that Ivan Dreyar was still a member before his exile from the Guild."

"The Masters son?" Weiss asked.

"Ivan was known as a brilliant man, even went so far as to study under Dr. Merlot once he'd proven himself to the man." Tai said. "Unfortunately, he also picked up Merlots passion for experimenting with Grimm DNA. Mainly, their hearts, and brains."

"Hold up, you aren't seriously saying, what I think you're saying, right?" Yang asked.

"Ivan secretly fed Raven, capsules filled with genetically altered Grimm DNA, while she was pregnant with Seras. Thus, when Seras was born, she was born as a Grimm Demi." Tai said. "The doctors and towns people wanted to kill her after she was born, which is why I moved us to Patch, where everyone here accepted her, without a moments hesitation. It wasn't until after you were born Yang, that Raven left us, with part of it being she feared, that whatever Ivan did to Seras, might have affected you as well."

"That's awful." Blake said.

"At the time that Raven left, I had Summer, and Kara to help support me emotionally, while they also helped with raising my two little girls, alongside Raion." Tai explained. "It wasn't too long after the fact, that Summer and I got together, and she was pregnant with Ruby. The Guild was throwing us a celebration to congratulate our union, and our child. But we got there a day or so early, and since we had you, Seras, and Raion with us, we had decided to pay a visit to Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria, for our own little celebration, and a celebration for their birthdays, since they were coming up rather soon. It was supposed to be a happy day, Raion and Seras were smiling and enjoying themselves."

"What happened to sour the mood?" Ruby asked.

"I don't really know when… or where it happened Ruby. Somewhere around the ball pit, the slides maybe? Either way, Seras went missing." Tai said, his voice cracking a bit. "Raion was missing for a little while at the same time as well, but we found him, a knife in his shoulder, crying like he'd just failed at something, something very important. We thought he was crying because he was in pain from the knife, but it turns out he was crying because he blamed himself for what happened to Seras, and he felt like he failed her."

"Even back then, as scrawny as he was, he always tried playing the hero." Yang said. "What happened to Seras?"

"I don't know." Tai said. "We filed a report with the police, the Guild spent weeks searching for her with no luck at all, and Raion wouldn't stop crying, repeating over and over again how a yellow Lepus took them both away, with promises of balloons and candies. Anything more, he wouldn't say, he couldn't. He was too traumatized with fear, to tell us what had happened to Seras. Eventually we learned, by looking into his memories with magic, that after he was stabbed, Seras saved his life, by sending him to safety through a hatch of some kind, from wherever they'd been taken too. It wasn't long after that incident, that Kara vanished, just like Raven, and he was left all alone with Kiiro. An', you know the rest from there."

"So, Raion's got a history with Fazbears." Blake said. "It explains why he wasn't all too keen on accepting the job in the first place."

"If you talk with Master Makarov, he'll be able to let you in on the details of what caused Freddy's to shut down, and who owned the place, alongside a man called William Afton. I think his name was Henry Emily, or something like that. His daughter Charlotte was actually the first child, to ever go missing after the Pizzeria first opened." Tai said. "I'm sorry you girls had to hear about Seras like this from me. I honestly was hoping the topic of her would never come up, as it's something I've never been able to come to terms with."

"It's okay dad." Yang said. "We understand your hesitance, which is why we're grateful to you for opening up like this."

"Where's Raion now?" Tai asked.

"He's out. He kicked us off the night shift job, stating it was now an S-Class job." Blake said. "He met with some restless spirits in a dream the last several nights, and promised to help them. At first he told us, the animatronics were just moving because of Geist, but earlier he told us that, he thinks they're the restless spirits, trapped and possessing the animatronics."

"Of course, how did I not see it?" Tai questioned.

"See what?"

"Whenever a child went missing from Fazbears, the police always searched that place high and low, canvasing the entire place from top to bottom." Tai said. "But there was one place, they didn't think to look, because they thought no one would have thought to hide the children there."

"Hide the bodies where?" Ruby asked.

~Raion~

"You didn't have to come with me you know." Raion said, looking to Gajeel as they entered Fazbears. "I can handle this, all on my own."

"Hey, whenever a childs involved, I'm more then happy to do what I can." Gajeel said. "So, where do we start?"

"We start, with Tiana Tyger. She should be where I left her still." Raion said. "That was Seras's favorite animatronic when we were little. An' that's where her body might be. I don't know if I missed it, but Seras never showed me, or told me where her body was, before her soul went dark in the animatronic."

"How many times have you been to Freddy's?" Gajeel asked, looking around.

"Aside from the last four nights? Twice. First time was the incident Seras went missing." Raion said. "It's vague, but I have these memories. The second time, my mom decided to look into the missing children cases from over thirty years ago, and she might have been onto something."

"What do you mean?" Gajeel inquired.

"I took a trip to my Fortress of Solitude before my shift with Ruby and Weiss last night. An' I gathered any and all remaining case files she had on the missing children. She managed to piece together who the murdering kidnapper was, without even realizing it." Raion said. "It's all come full circle here."

"How so?"

"Those results Cortana had me take a closer look at on the job request were the first clue. Cortana found that the first letters of every three words in the first paragraph describing the job, spelled out God of War." Raion said. "Now call me superstitious, but I don't think my employer, Henry Emily, did that on accident."

"You're kidding." Gajeel said.

"I think he recognized me from that day, all those years ago, from that image of me in Sorcerer Weekly, and he wanted me, to be the one to lay these children to rest." Raion stated. "He wanted me, to find who did this."

"Will you even be able to though?" Gajeel asked.

"Remember, my mom already figured that out. She just didn't know it yet." Raion said, as they stopped at the wall of childrens art. "Isn't that right, Afton?"

Gajeel was confused as to who Raion was talking to, as there was no one there, listening to them.

"Who are you talking to, there's no one else here." Gajeel said. "I seriously think your sleep deprivation, is starting to get to you."

"I'm fine Gajeel. An' I'm talking to William Afton. Henry Emily's business partner, and co-owner of Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria." Raion said, pinning a few pictures on the wall, before heading for the back. "He's the murderer, and he's here. He's just not too keen on showing himself right now."

"Why would he be the murderer though?" Gajeel asked. "That doesn't make any sense."

"It does if you think about it." Raion stated, leading him to the back, where the spare animatronics were located, and walking past it to the room the Tiana animatronic was left in. "Think Gajeel, who else besides Henry had access to the animatronics, and the security footage? Who else knew, that the animatronic Grimm, could be worn like armored suits, with the animatronic parts still inside? William was able to cover his tracks, by hiding his true face, and erasing the footage that caught him taking children away, before he murdered them."

"If he murdered them, then why hide the bodies in the animatronics?" Gajeel asked, as they entered the room Raion left the Tiana Tyger in, as she was just sitting there, motionless.

"Who's to say he was the one, who stuffed them into the animatronics?" Raion asked dropping his bag of equipment.

"What do you mean?" Gajeel asked, turning on the lights.

"I mean, Afton's first victim, was the culprit for hiding the bodies." Raion said.

"I'm getting lost here man, could you just tell me what you're getting at?" Gajeel asked.

"Charlotte Emily." Raion said. "She was the daughter of Henry Emily, and Williams Afton's first victim since the Pizzeria opened up. After my first night on guard duty here, I took a look at all the animatronics designs, and guess what I found."

"One of them was programmed to protect her?" Gajeel asked.

"Exactly." Raion stated, pulling a crowbar out from the bag. "The animatronic responsible for that, was the Puppet. The animatronic, responsible for distributing prizes at the prize counter, in that giant box we passed on our way back here."

"So you think, Charlotte's ghost possessed the animatronic, then hid the other victims bodies in other animatronics, as what some sort of revenge plot?" Gajeel asked.

"I don't think, I know." Raion said, sliding the crowbar into the opening of the chest cavity.

"How could you know this though?" Gajeel asked.

"Let's just say, that I've taken on the role of a Medium lately." Raion said. "It's a lesser known Slayer element. But Effigy Godslayer Magic, allows me to make contact with the dead, so long as their souls are near. It's the same as Phantom Dragonslayer Magic, but is Godslayer instead. I'm not as practiced with it, as my other elements, but it's known to be useful." Raion said, securing a hold in the chest plate with the crowbar. "Brace yourself, it's gonna get really rank."

"As if the smell wasn't bad enough?" Gajeel questioned, pinching his nose, before Raion used his Kryptonian strength to pry the chest cavity open.

The sight inside the chest cavity, caused Raion to gag as he slid back. Clearing his eyes of the sting, Raion saw that the body of a child had been stuffed into the animatronic, curled tightly into the fetal position, with the skin withering away to a dry leathery husk, and the skull practically barren, with all the hair gone, and two holes on top of the head, where feline or canine ears would be. He looked around the base of the cavity, and saw two fallen leathery ears lying around the child, as well as a severed tail.

"Oh man, that is rank." Gajeel gagged. "You good man?"

"I'm… I'm good." Raion said, slowly reaching down, and picking up both ears, his hands shaking uncontrollably. "I'm just peachy."

"Is it her?" Gajeel asked.

"Yeah… it's her." Raion said, putting the cat ears back on the base, and holding up four earrings, two identical pairs of silver cuff hoop earrings, with an additional two silver cuff studs. "These were hers. I gave them to her, for her last birthday the year before." He said with heavy breath, the jingling of metal echoing through the air, as the earrings rattled in the palm of his trembling hand. "When we were little… we did typical childish things, even promised each other, that we'd get married some day. An' these were my promise to her, that I'd make it happen."

"Oh man, I'm so sorry." Gajeel said, gritting his teeth, while putting a hand on Raions shoulder. "I am so, so sorry my guy. I wish you didn't have to go through this."

"No, it's fine." Raion said, his fist clenching the earrings tight, as it ignited with flames. "I'll be fine. I just need to gather her remains, and bring them back to Tai."

Clap. Clap. Clap. Clap…

Gajeel quickly turned around, with Raion looking up at where the clapping was coming from. There, they saw a yellow Lepus, walking into the back room clapping its hands, with a knife on its hip.

"Bravo. Bravo indeed." The man in the suit said, his voice hidden from the modulator inside the helmet. "The prodigal son returns, to face the man who nearly ended his life, all those years ago."

"What's he talking about Raion?" Gajeel questioned.

"Oh, did he not tell you?" William questioned, removing the helmet, showing the graying haired man underneath. "Your little friend here, ran away, leaving poor defenseless Seras to die on her own."

"No, that's not true." Raion said. "She pushed me out of the way, before you could stab me with a second blade. She saved my life!"

"But you could not save hers." William said with a laugh. "Though I will admit, you were spot on about sweet little Charlotte. She always had a knack for Necromancy, and other magics that brought people back from the dead. Unfortunately though, so do I, and I was far superior to her in terms of skill. So while she merged the tormented souls with the animatronics, I was the one who was always in control of them. But that control left me this past week for some reason. So I came to see what that reason was, and imagine my surprise, to find her powers had been amplified by a pact made with the one victim, who got away."

Gajeel looked at Raion, his eyes widening when he saw the Huntsman with the title of, God of War, shaking like a leaf in a hurricane.

"This guy really fucked with your mind, didn't he?" Gajeel asked.

"Oh, I did more then that." William said, sinisterly smirking at Raions pain.

"Don't, William." Raion growled.

"I made the little man watch, as I had my way with his little friend. I was enjoying it so much, her screams of terror, him pleading with me to stop doing those things to her, and then the grand finale." William said. "I made sure, he watched as I stabbed my blade, right through Seras's fucking throat. Yet she was still somehow able to move enough, to save his pathetic life."

Gajeel's eyes widened in horror, before he grit his teeth hard, and began marching to William, intent on ending him, the Dragonslayers body enveloped in metal.

"Death, is too great a mercy for the likes of scum such as you." Gajeel growled.

"Wait Gajeel." Raion hissed.

The sharpness of the Dragonslayers hearing, picked up on the pain in Raions voice, and looked back at him to see he's actually done something, only an emo teen would consider doing. Without any sort of equipment, Raion pierced his earlobes with the cuff hoops, and the cartilage in his right ear with the cuff studs. His aura quickly took care of the damage, and healed around the metals nearly instantly.

"Make sure Seras's remains are stored properly." Raion growled. "Afton, is mine."

Gajeel could see, that Raion meant business. He's only seen the God of War like this, only one other time, and that was when Team CRDL fucked up, and hospitalized his Kōhai, Ruby Rose.

"Oh-ho. You intend on taking me down do you?" William questioned as Raion marched past Gajeel, the slayers metal vanishing from his body.

"I do, and I'll make sure, you never hurt anyone else, ever again." Raion growled, his eyes glowing red.

"Well then…" William smirked, putting the helmet back on. "Hit me with your best shot."

Raion ran at William, the man in the mecha suit not even moving an inch, as Raion just hit him in the chest, and sent him stumbling back a few feet.

"Is that all you got?" William asked, sounding like he was smirking under the helmet.

"Why you holding back man?" Gajeel asked.

"Believe me Gajeel, I put all my strength into that punch." Raion said, looking to his hands. "I don't know what happened."

"You haven't noticed?" William inquired, as if it were obvious. "The security system was designed by me. I installed an Anti-Magic field that surrounds the building, that shuts down all any and all powers, that are outside of mine, within its domain."

'Including my Kryptonian powers. Kryptonian abilities are susceptible to magic, and this Anti-Magic field, is generated by it's own unique type of paradox-magic that negates all others.' Raion thought. "Gajeel. Head to the security room, and disable the field."

"How do I do that?" Gajeel questioned.

"How did you cause the damage you did to my Guildhall?" Raion asked, looking over his shoulder to the Iron Dragonslayer.

Gajeel looked surprised at Raion before he smirked excitedly.

"Oh-ho-ho-ho, I don't need my magic to cause some mayhem." Gajeel stated, punching his palm with his fist. "What if I run into the other animatronics?"

"Take the crowbar." Raion said, kicking the tool to him. "Use it against them if you have to."

"Right on." Gajeel said, running for the exit.

"You're not leaving that easily." William said, pulling his arm back, and swinging his knife at Gajeel.

The blade was blocked, as Raion got between them, and the blade pierced his shoulder, in the same spot the scar from the first blade had been.

"I'm not done with you asshole." Raion growled, his irises glowing dimly. "I've got a score to settle with you."

"Raion." Gajeel said.

"Don't stop. Keep going." Raion called to him, pushing William back, causing him to hit the wall. "Once you get the field back up, I'll be fine."

"Not if I kill you before that happens!" William exclaimed, running at Raion and swinging his blade at him.

"GO!" Raion shouted, maneuvering between each swing of the blade.

Gajeel looked to Raion, before he grit his teeth and went running out of the storage area, and down the hall. Raion ducked under one of the blades swings, resulting in William leaving his side, wide open, and allowing Raion to hit him with a jab-cross combo that knocked the man back, and letting a mechanical clinking echo through the air, as the sound of piercing flesh reach Raions ears.

"It's over William." Raion stated. "Your ribs were just punctured by the mechanical parts of the suit, weren't they?"

"So what if they were?" William asked. "It's not like I actually care about it. I can defy death all I want. With my control over necromancy, I'm immortal. I can prevent my own death, and I have prevented it."

"If you persist on like this, I will end you without mercy." Raion said. "Gajeel is on his way to destroy your Anti-Magic field, as we speak."

"It won't work." William stated. "You will fail, and I will finish what I started all those years ago."

"Don't underestimate Gajeel." Raion said. "He'll make it, and he's gonna destroy the field."

"He won't get far." William exclaimed, the eyes of the helmet glowing purple as he used his magic. "Necromancer: Devils Dance of the Restless Puppets! Wake up children, it's time to play!"

~Gajeel~

"Gotta find the security room." Gajeel said, running through the main entertainment room of the Pizzeria. "Thankfully, the field didn't shut down my sense of smell. An' Raion's been through this hall enough times that I don't gotta worry about it fading any time…"

Gajeel was stopped, as a mechanical arm came swinging out of nowhere, and struck him in the face, causing him to flip over, and fall to the ground flat on his stomach.

"I don't like, where this is fucking going." Gajeel groaned.

Getting to his feet, Gajeel turned around and glared at the animatronic that had attacked him, and saw it was the Puppet, with Sapphy, Nessa, Freddy, and Roxanne surrounding him, all their eyes glowing purple, and they were all blocking his path to the hall leading to the security room.

"Shit." Gajeel cursed. "Worst part it, there's more of you poor bastards in storage, probably making their way here right now." He sighed, pulling the 5ft crowbar from his back. "I should really, invest in a Huntsman weapon. But for now, let me say something before we start fighting." He stated. "I know none of you are in control of yourselves, so I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me, for what I gotta do." The Dragonslayer said, wielding the crowbar like a bow staff with expert skill. "Now bring it on."

~Raion~

"Is this really, the best the legendary, God of War from Fairy Tail, can manage?" William questioned, as Raion brought up his arms to block a backhanded swing from the villain.

The strength of the swing was enhanced with the animatronic suit's pistons, knocking Raion into the wall right next to Tiana Tyger, and the revealed corpse of Seras.

"I'm not impressed." William stated, stepping up to Raion. "Honestly, Fairy Tail must really be scrapping the bottom of the barrel, if you were named S-Class. Then again, they weren't able to find any, of the missing children. Especially not Seras. She must not have been all that important to them, if they left her for dead like you did."

"You shut your mouth!" Raion growled, using Tiana to pick himself up. "Fairy Tail, is the strongest Guild within Fiore, or any of the Four Kingdoms."

"You talk a big game, but you're nothing without your magic." William stated, swinging his blade at Raion.

The young man gripped his fists tightly, before he swung his arm up, and slammed it against Williams forearm, keeping the blade from reaching him.

"I've been fighting adversity, since the day I was born." Raion huffed, a silver aura enveloping his body.

Williams eyes widened as Raion raised his head, and showed his eyes had turned silver, with dancing stars rising from the aura that surrounded him.

"What makes you think you're any different?" He questioned.

Instantly, it happened without William realizing what was going on, as Raion slammed his open palm into the chest of the Lepus suit, sending William flying back, and breaking through the wall, out into the open halls.

"What… the fuck… was that?" William questioned, his body convulsing in pain, as he became skewered by several more parts of the animatronic suit. "Fuck… Numb the pain, defy death."

William rolled onto his side, pushing himself up from the ground, as he glared through the hole in the wall his sudden exit from the battle had made. Raion was still standing there, silver aura surrounding him, but in his arms, he held a wrapped bundle that look tied, and the size of a child. His gaze drifted to the Tiana Animatronic, and saw the mummified corpse was no longer in the chest cavity.

"I see." William said. "So you removed her body, the catalyst for her soul to possess the animatronic, to avoid me using her against you like I'm using the others."

"Not that you'd be able to if I hadn't removed her." Raion said, putting the bundle down. "I removed her physical connection that tethered her to her body. Because she left them to me when I spoke with her last night. She invited me to take them."

"Her piercings." William sighed. "Of course you know about the physical connection needed for tethering a soul to a corpse, even if it isn't its own."

"You think you're unstoppable… just because you have this field negating my power." Raion said, the silver aura around him vanishing, as his eyes returned to their normal hue.

"Your strange burst of power's wearing off." William smirked. "Now let's see what you're really made of, without that power up."

~Gajeel~

"Damn it." Gajeel huffed, standing in the middle of a circle of animatronics, with more making their way to the circle. "They won't stop. I damaged their knee joints, and made it impossible for them to move. But the possessed animatronics just keep on coming."

Raising the crowbar over his head, Gajeel threw the tool through the air towards the animatronic blocking his path to the security office, piercing the possessed robots leg, and causing it to fall over. Racing through the animatronics, Gajeel grabbed the crowbar as he passed the fallen robot, and made a B-Line for the security office.

"Damn it all." Gajeel growled, sliding to a stop as he saw there were at least four animatronics guarding the door to the security office. "Won't this madness ever end?" He questioned as the animatronics made their way to him.

Before the animatronics could make it to Gajeel, a gunshot rang out through the air, with the resounding bullet piercing the center animatronics head. Turning his head to look over his shoulder, Gajeel's eyes widened when he saw Ruby crouched there, with Crescent Rose in its rifle form. Behind her, Weiss, Blake, and Yang, were dealing with the animatronics that had been following him.

"Get to the security office, now!" Ruby called out.

~Raion~

"Tell me something kid." William stated, hitting Raion with a backhanded strike, knocking him back. "How exactly, were you able to use that power up against me, when the field is still standing?"

"I don't know." Raion huffed, throwing a punch at William, their fists meeting on impact.

"All magic, outside of my own should have been nullified within the field. So how were you, able to channel a power like that?" William questioned, kicking Raion in the chest, and pinning him to the wall by gripping his neck. "Why don't you tell me, before I finish what I started that day, all those years ago."

"I don't, know." Raion repeated, before something came to him. "Hold on, you said magic. That means, your field doesn't work on Auras or Semblances."

"So?" William asked. "Semblances are inferior to magic, and thus can be bested easily without a fields protection."

"Then I guess that's gonna be your downfall." Raion said, coursing his Aura through his body, his light and eyes illuminating with that silver hue again. "Because I think I just unlocked my Semblance."

With those words, Raion swung his arm down, and forced William to let go, before he struck the man with another open palmed strike, sending him sliding back.

The yellow Lepus looked up and growled at Raion, before running for the Huntsman. Raion just stepped towards William, effortlessly moving his body left and right, avoiding the blade the mass murderer was swinging at him, without so much as a worry in his eyes. His body felt calm, and his mind was cleared, as if his body was instinctually moving on its own.

(Cue Music… Bring me to Life: Daughtry)

"How are you doing this?" William questioned, swinging his blade sideways in a crescent strike, only for him to miss his target, as Raion vanished in a blur of light and was suddenly behind the murderer.

"This is just as guess, since I've only just unlocked it." Raion said, his voice coming from behind Afton, causing the man to freeze in shock. "But I think, by letting my mind go clear, and running my Aura through my body, my instincts are at the pinnacle of their current potential."

William swiftly turned around, swinging his blade at Raion, only for the young Huntsman to grab Afton's forearm, his Aura flickering out like a dying candle.

"But… it burns up more Aura then I can produce." Raion said, his breathing getting heavy. "So I'll end this quickly."

~Gajeel/RWBY~

"What do we do now?" Yang questioned, as she and Gajeel barricaded the door to the security office.

"I don't know." Ruby said, as she was looking around the security office.

"Was a self repair function even in the animatronics original specs?" Weiss questioned.

"I don't know." Ruby repeated, looking through the lockers.

"What are we gonna do, now that we've barricaded ourselves in the security office?" Blake asked.

"I don't know, okay! I don't know, I didn't think we'd be facing an army of possessed animatronics, while our magic was turned off." Ruby stated.

"Hey, let's take a breath, and calm down." Gajeel said, moving the lockers to act as the barricade. "We can get through this."

"Why are you even here? Shouldn't you be locked up with the rest of Phantom Lord?" Blake asked.

"I wasn't, because I didn't actually fight in the war between our guilds. An' if you recall Ms. Rose, I stopped Cardin and his team from killing you and Team Shadow Gear." Gajeel said. "I was just hit with a fine, and now I'm looking for a new Guild to join. Haven't had much luck."

"He's not lying." Ruby said. "He didn't take part in the beating Levy's team and I went through that started the war."

"I even warned Team CRDL, not to do it." Gajeel said, looking through the control panel. "But no, they thought they knew best, and look where that got them. I hear they're still being treated in the prison hospital for their injuries."

"We did do a number on them." Yang said, looking to Blake. "What were you coming here for anyway?"

"The master controls." Gajeel said. "They're the key to turning off the field that's keeping all our magics from working. Only Afton's magic is working in this field, because he's the one who designed the security system."

"Why not just destroy the console and be done with it?" Weiss inquired.

"That was my initial plan. But because we're stuck in here with it, I'd risk killing us all in the process." Gajeel stated.

"Does Dust still work?" Yang asked.

"I'd imagine so, why?" Gajeel asked.

"Weiss, think you can make a dome strong enough to shield us from a blast that will destroy the console?" Yang asked, reaching into a pouch on her hip.

"With enough Ice Dust, why?" Weiss asked.

"I've got a plan." Yang smirked, holding up a grenade with a chunk of unrefined Burn Dust.

~Raion~

"How pathetic." William stated, slamming his fist into Raion's face, causing his head to snap back. "Without your magic, or your Semblance, you don't stand a chance against me."

"It doesn't matter… if I can stop you here…" Raion huffed. "Gajeel knows you're the murderer. An' once Makarov hears about this, about what you've done here, all of Fairy Tail, will hunt you down. No matter where you go, no matter what you do, Fairy Tail will never stop hunting…"

Raion stopped in his threat, as William came up and thrust his blade into the Huntsman's torso, causing blood to pour out from the wound. Pulling back his arm, William watched with a smirk, as the light glistening off the bloodied blade, with Raion falling to his knees, right next to the Tiana Tyger animatronic.

"How poetic." William said, removing his helmet. "You're gonna die, right next to the same animatronic that your beloved friend died next to. I'd say, this came full circle, perfectly."

"It won't end here." Raion said, his body trembling with pain. "It will never end, so long as Fairy Tail seeks revenge."

"Then I guess it's a good thing, no one but me, is leaving this place, alive." William smirked, moving closer to Raion.

(End Song…)

Before William could skewer Raion with his blade, the echoing rumble of an explosion resonated through the air, with the building shaking like a tremor was going off.

"The fuck just happened?" William questioned, unaware that Raions eyes glowed with power momentarily.

"Gajeel… he did it." Raion smirked, using his healing magic on the stab wound he had, his eyes widening when he caught sight of a hooded figure standing behind William, holding a pair of sickles, before vanishing from sight when he blinked.

"It doesn't matter." William stated. "Even if he destroyed the field, he's probably too weakened to escape this place alive. This is the end."

"Yeah, for you." A voice echoed through the air.

The instant that voice resonated through the air, a golden light shined brilliantly from a corner of the room, the same corner that Seras's remains had been placed safely away from the battle. Through the blinding golden light, a young woman came rushing towards William, letting out an angered battle cry, with a pair of pointed tiger ears and a tail hanging from her lower back, and her fingers extended like claws.

"What the hell?" William questioned, before the young womans claws pierced his suit.

"Trace on!" She cried out.

Near instantly after she cried out those words, the air around her lit up with electricity, before she created a bow staff, with the familiar dual colored falchion blades on the ends. Moving faster then William could predict, the young woman kept slicing through his animatronic suit, left and right, with his blood pooling out everywhere.

"Who the hell is she, what the hell is…" William stopped, when he saw that the bundle Seras's remains had been inside of, had been torn to shreds, with the remains of the girl herself nowhere to be seen. "No, it can't be. She can't be that same girl."

"Having trouble believing what you're seeing with your own eyes?" Seras questioned, stopping in front of him. "Then let me relieve you of your insanity."

With a final swing of her bladed staff, a crescent arc of light made its way through Williams neck. There was a tense moment of silence, before William fell to his knees, and his head rolled down his back to the ground. From where Raion laid, his consciousness was fading fast, as the hooded figure stood next to Afton's headless body, with a dark purple flame in his hand, before devouring it. The instant the flame was gone, the hooded figured turned to look right at him.

Raion, unable to move too far, strained himself to see where he'd left Seras's remains. To his surprise, rather then seeing the bundle there, Raion saw a window through spacetime, and looking right back at him, was himself. Raion saw himself staring right back at him, with his doubles right eye, having taken on an orange color, with a gear having taken the place of his iris. The visage only lasted for a second, before it vanished, and Raion was looking at the hooded figure once more. Craning his head up as he was turned over to his side, Raion saw the red eyes of the hooded figure, looking down at him.

"Ooh, that looks fatal." The hooded figure said, with a Hispanic accent in his voice. "But, not to worry my friend. It's not your time for me to take you away. Rest now, you've earned the break." He stated, as the last thing Raion saw of him, was the restless souls surrounding the hooded figure, before the young woman with black hair, came into view and knelt over him with worried panic on her face.

~Sometime Later~

The sunlight filtered through the window, as the sound of bird chirping echoed through Raions ears. Slowly, Raion began opening his eyes, allowing himself the time to process, that he was within his own room at his house. Carefully, Raion turned his head to the window, and saw someone standing there, dipping a cloth in cool water. Looking up her body, Raion saw it was the young woman, who'd ended Williams life, with a worried expression on her face. When she turned to put the cloth on his forehead, she paused when she saw his eyes were open and fixed on her.

"You're finally awake." She said with a smile, putting the cloth on his forehead. "Oh I was so worried you wouldn't wake up."

"Um, yeah. I guess going nearly a week without any sleep can do that to a person." Raion said.

"You've been practically comatose for a week and a half." The young woman said, putting a gentle hand on his shoulder. "It's funny, I saved your life back when we were kids, and I saved it again, in the same building as back then."

"I'm sorry but… who are you?" Raion questioned.

"Oh, right. I guess you wouldn't really recognize me huh?" She smiled softly. "I mean, the last thing I remember after our talk was rudely abrupted by Afton's magic, was seeing a giant mechanical fish flying through the air, and the next thing I know I'm fighting Afton to the death in that storage room."

"Our talk?" Raion asked.

"Well, I guess it's better to rip the bandage off." She said, leaning down and planting a kiss on his lips.

This sudden act of affection caught Raion off guard, before he saw a familiar beauty mark under the young womans right eyes when she pulled back from the kiss.

"Seras?" He asked, his response being that of an amused laugh and smile.

"It's good to actually see you again, Dumb-dumb."

~A/N~

NGL, Ch15 was originally 14, but I figured, why skip the other nights, when I can just make them work. So in the end, I wound up working on Ch's14&15 at the same time. Hope you enjoyed. I'm certain you're gonna love having Seras around in the story. I'm gonna be using her to milk out a whole arc of adventure between her, Raion, Taiyang, Team RWBY, even Qrow and Ozpin.
