It was a rather long and solemn walk back from Area Zero. Having defeated the A.I. and shut down the machine, they definitely had cause for celebration. However, the last thing they told to Arven, it was heartbreaking. The entire group just didn't know what to say to him. It was such a bizarre situation. This whole time thinking his parents were alive and just extremely busy, while in actuality, they died when he was a child and it's been their A.I's talking to him that whole time.

What exactly do you say to someone like that? I know what you're going through? I'm sorry you thought your dead parents were alive this whole time?

It seemed that no one could really think of any way to comfort him. Well, almost no one.

As the group decided to take a break just before the first research station Arven walked a ways off and sat near a cliff overlooking much of the area they had recently walked from.

"I'm not even going to act like I know what you're going through." Said a soft voice near him.

Arven didn't turn, he knew who it was.

"You know, it's weird." He said. "Like, this whole time, I thought they just didn't care, or they were too busy for me."

Arven's voice started to crack.

"But, knowing that they were dead this whole time. Part of me is relieved." He said.

"They loved you Arven."

"I know… it's… bittersweet. At least I won't be sitting in class wondering if mo… or…da…"

Suddenly it all came out and Arven just began to cry.

"That's okay… let it out." Said Juliana as she literally offered him a shoulder to cry on.

The embrace was a long one as Arven seemed to take her advice and let everything he had been holding inside…

…out on Juliana's shoulder.

*sigh* "Never thought it would be so good to see this place again." Said Ms. Deedra as the group reached the research station closest to the Zero Gate. It was nearly nightfall and there was no way they would get a flying taxi at this time, so the group had decided to bunker down for the night. They would try the taxi in the morning.

Ms. Raifort watched as everyone settled in. She had always wanted to come to this place. She had dreamed of what it would be like. However, her dreams were off by a long shot. She would never have imagined the pokemon, these crystals and a massive time machine were amongst the secrets of Area Zero. It was almost too much to take in… at least right now. When she got home she would mostly look over all the events she wrote down in her journal and write her findings in a more organized way. Right now though, she was very tired. The events that had transpired earlier today had left both a physical and mental strain on her entire body. And she wasn't alone. Nobody even bothered about dinner as all just went to their sections of the station…

…And collapsed onto their beds/sleeping mats…

…Well almost everyone.

Florian stared at the unique specimen before him. It looked like a Magneton but it was bigger and had much longer magnets. Well it didn't matter, he would catch it all the same. Or so he thought.

"Hey, that one was mine!" He shouted as a different pokeball appeared and sucked up the ancient pokemon.

"Too slow bro." Said Juliana as she retrieved her new pokemon.

"Whatever." Said Florian as he turned his attention to the next one. He was spoiled for choice as it appeared like many more of these weird pokemon were nocturnal. Technically he and his sister should have been sleeping, but how could they pass up a chance to catch such rare and some even technically extinct pokemon before leaving the area?

"So, what do you think they'll do with this place?" Asked Juliana as they walked to find some others to catch before returning to the station.

"What do you mean?" Florian asked.

"Well, now that we know the secret." Juliana Answered. "You think more trainers will come here to catch these pokemon or like will they completely restrict this place or…"

"I don't know. We did our part sis… what comes next doesn't really concern us." He answered.

Just then a giant bug-like pokemon appeared in front of them.

"This one's mine." Florian insisted.

"Please…" Juliana replied.

"…Like I'd even want that thing."

Raifort practically collapsed on her bed. It was amazing how good being in her tiny studio room felt after their adventure. Sure, she still wanted to explore more of Area Zero, but she would definitely wait a while before she attempted any kind of venture into the mysterious place.

However, she couldn't sleep. Not that she wasn't bone tired, but she had class in an hour and there was no point in taking a nap before that. Plus she had to get her lesson plan ready. So with aching bones and a cloudy head, she took out her books and began preparing for her lesson.

"Why couldn't he have done that during the treasure hunt?" She said as she made her way to her class. Well, thank God she only had one class today. Ironically it was about Area Zero and had she had more time she could have added in what they had discovered down there, but for now she had to just keep to what the textbook said.

She was too tired to really elaborate at the moment anyway.

Florian sat in class. In truth, history with Ms. Raifort was one of his favorite classes. He really enjoyed learning what had happened and what had led to the world they live in today. However today he could tell what they had been through just a day earlier was really taking a toll on Ms. Raifort.

She should have gotten a replacement for the day. He thought. They had only been able to get the flying taxi that morning so he doubted most of them got much sleep if any when they got back to the academy. It wasn't just the adventure. The whole trip had taken a mental toll on pretty much everyone who went. He doubted anyone would have thought that the doctors were actually A.I. robots the entire time and that the great secret was a massive time machine. It was both astonishing and sad at the same time. Arven's parents were definitely geniuses but basically making a robot copy of themselves and a massive time machine… but then one remembers that it was also their doom… Florian didn't even want to think about that at the time.

Not surprisingly Arven wasn't in class. Most of the teachers would understand if he skipped out for a bit. However, as Florian looked around, he also noticed that someone else was absent from the classroom.

That person being none other than his sister, Juliana.

"You didn't have to come you know." Said Arven as the two looked over the horizon.

"Technically I did or you wouldn't have been able to get up here." Juliana replied.

It was true. The cliff they were currently on was only accessible due to Miraidon's climbing ability.

"Well, yeah but I… thanks." He said.

"Don't mention it."

For a bit, the two just looked over Paldea. It was a beautiful region. From where they were the could see the entire academy.

"So, why'd you want to come up here?" Asked Arven.

"You asked for a quiet place to think. This is where I come to think." She replied.

"Really? Wow."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Juliana asked him.

"Nothing, just… you picked a great spot." He told her.

"Yeah, you can just sit and gaze at God's creation." She pointed out.

Things went quiet for a bit. The two just watching the fields, the pokemon, the people that were so far away they looked like little bugs.

"So, is this where your brother comes to think too?" Asked Arven finally breaking the silence.

"Don't know, never told him about this spot." Juliana replied.

"What? So…" Arven began.

"So you better not tell anyone." She said with a smile.

Arven thought for a moment and then he smiled back realizing she had entrusted him with a secret even her brother didn't know.

The next half hour mostly went by in silence. Until it was interrupted by Arven's stomach growling.

"Guess we should eat something." He said as he got up.

"Let's head to the sandwich shop in town." Juliana Pointed out as she took Miraidon out of her ball.

"That's, pretty far and it's a pretty long drop." He pointed out.

"You're not scared are you?" Juliana asked playfully.

"What… no just… please after that Area Zero drop…" He said as the two climbed onto Miraidon.

"Good, now hang on." She warned as Miraidon jumped and it's wings came out.

Arven did so.

It wasn't like this thing came with seatbelts.

"That's right fans you are watching me at the famous Naranja and Uva Universities." And no I'm not going back to school. However, I just came from the famous Area Zero and by the looks of the comments, you guys definitely enjoyed watching me and my companions risk life and limb to discover the massive secret it held. Yes! A time machine! An actual time machine! You heard it here first! Remember that!"

Iono smiled as she saw the flood of comments. It was nearly five in the morning and yet there were a good amount of people watching her livestream. She thanked God that she had gone with Florian and the others to Area Zero. Her subscribers had nearly quadrupled after she became the first person to livestream a time machine. However now it was time to return to her regular streaming. Though almost anything she did now would most likely not live up to what went down in Area Zero.

"You sure you brought everything?" Asked a familiar voice nearby.

Iono peaked around the academy corner. She had currently been streaming left of the entrance and was pretty much alone this early in the morning. However, as she looked around the corner she noticed two very familiar people walking toward… a flying taxi?"

"Yeah, don't worry we got more than enough supplies."

"What's this? Perhaps a Streaming moment." Iono said as she walked toward Florian and Juliana.

"Bonjour!" She shouted and semi-startled them.

"Sorry. Didn't expect many people to be out here this early in the morning." She apologized upon reaching both the siblings and the taxi.

"Oh, hey Iono…" Said Florian. "…What are you doing up so early?"

"Well, I usually like to do a morning livestream." She said. "What you two sneaking around the campus this early for?" She asked.

"Sneaking…" Replied Florian. "…Well… we…"

"Florian we have to hurry." Juliana insisted.

"Hurry where?" Asked Iono now fully intrigued almost to the point where she forgot she was streaming.

"Okay… please don't tell anyone." Florian said.

"She's streaming…" Juliana pointed out.

"Oh, yeah…" Said Iono. "…Sorry streamers it would appear I'm about to get some top-secret information." She told to her screen. "Maybe I'll reveal it next time… but for now. Bonjour!"

With that, she ended the live stream and turned back to the siblings.

"Now…" She said.

"...Where exactly are you in a hurry to get to?"

Thank you all who made it to the end.

May God bless you all.
