"Ty Runt!" Boom!

On the outskirts of Oreburgh City, a large explosion of smoke could be seen near a crop of rocks and boulders at the base of the mountain.

"That was brilliant." Harry praised, once he's seen his Tyrant land unharmed after performing the move they had been working on.

"Ty!" The dual-type pokemon cried out happily at the praise.

It had been two days since Harry's gym battle with Roark, and two days since he started a special type of training for his rematch. Ian had been nice enough to give Harry an appointment card for his rematch. A person could immediately re-challenge a gym so long as there wasn't another challenger within the first 24 hours of them losing, or they could set up an appointment to have a rematch at a later date. He was scheduled to have his rematch battled with Roark the next day after the gym leader was done with his duties for the day as the foreman of the mine. Technically Harry could have challenged Roark immediately the next day but had wanted to try something he had come up with after his talk with Olympia.

"Thanks for your help to Ralts," Harry said, turning to the other end of the field where the mentioned pokemon was. She had been using her Confusion to throw smaller boulders at Tyrunt, to help with its training, as well as helping to strengthen her use of her single psychic-type move.

"Ral!" The psychic type called back enthusiastically. Honestly, Harry was a bit surprised at her feelings, he had been monitoring her emotions carefully since they started training, about the upcoming rematch at the gym. Considering how they had first met, Harry was almost completely sure that she would only be interested in performing in the contest side of things. But after his talk with Olympia and getting his pokemon back, he had let his team out and asked their opinion on whether or not they wanted to try and give gym battles another chance. Just because he was open to the idea of giving it another shot didn't mean that he wasn't going to not consider his pokemons' feelings. They had all been determined to try and prove themselves against Roark one more time, Ralts most of all, surprisingly enough. If Harry had to take a guess, it was probably because she didn't like the fact that it had been her battle against Cranidos that had stopped them from earning a badge, the little psychic type had a surprisingly competitive streak, and did not like losing.

Looking out over Oreburgh City from where they were training, Harry could see the beginnings of twilight starting to take over the sky as the Mining City slowly started to become bathed in orange light.

"Alright, I think that's enough for today, let's head back into the city," Harry called out to his team.

"Ty!" "Ral!" The two cried before making their way over to their trainer who immediately returned them to their pokeballs.

As Harry walked along the path back into the city he began to think about what he could do to prepare for his rematch. He was done training his team for the day and with the rematch being tomorrow he wanted them well-rested, so any last-minute preparations would have to be done by him.

'Maybe I can make them a special pre-battle breakfast, or some extra fancy pokepuffs as a reward for training so hard.' He thought to himself as he made his way back to the pokemon center. As he walked he took in the different sights and buildings that made up the city, not that there was much to see. Oreburgh City wasn't exactly a bustling metropolis like Jubilife City, it mostly being made up of the coal refinery and residential buildings so there wasn't much in the ways of tourist areas or attractions. He continued to think about what to do as he headed back toward the pokemon center.

"I'll just make both," He said to himself, stopping as he passed a grocery store.

Walking in he grabbed a basket and made his way over to the pokemon food and items aisle to collect the ingredients he'd need. As he walked down the rows of pokemon food he grabbed a box of pokemon food base mix. Normally he would buy a pre-made pokemon food kibble and would make a large batch of various preservatives from berries ahead of time and just mix a specific preserve into the food for each of his pokemon. But he figured that he'd make the entire breakfast from scratch, the way he had been taught by Albert at the research lab.

"I should probably restock on supplies while I'm here." He said to himself, as he saw the store was having a sale on freeze-dried food. He made his way over to where the items for trainers were normally sold. Most traveling pokemon trainers carried around freeze-dried meals to eat when on the road. As he made his way down the aisle Harry grabbed several of the full instant meals that were on sale and then proceeded to fill up his basket with various freeze-dried ingredients and a few seasonings. Harry normally only made full meals whenever he was too tired to make a proper meal using the larger-scale and cheaper ingredients.

He made his way around the store and picked up a few other items that he had been running low on as well as a few snacks he hadn't seen before in the other stores he visited. It had become something of a habit or hobby for Harry, whenever he came across new snack foods or desserts when he was traveling he would try as many as he could find, and any that caught his attention he made a note on where he had found them in case he couldn't find them at any other store. It had been something he had been inspired to do by Zach, the lab researcher had told Harry about how he had done something similar with special pokemon candy figurines that were sold in PokeMarts throughout the Sinnoh region but varied depending on the location.

At the front counter, a friendly girl rang up and bagged his purchases. After paying for his groceries Harry frowned at the amount of money he had left in his wallet, he would have to get some more. Looking at his Holo Caster he saw that it was still pretty early in the evening, and decided to make his way over to the bank before it got too late. Lucky for him the bank was only a short distance away from the pokemon center he was staying in.

When Harry got to the bank he bypassed the entrance, and it's closed for business today sign and went around the building to the back. As he rounded the corner to the rear of the bank he's seen the entrance to a small shop, though it just looked like a small brick hut room extending out of the back of the bank. Walking over, Harry was glad to see that they had an open sign in one of the two front windows, he headed inside.

The inside was fairly sparse, to the point where there was nothing inside except for two doors on opposite sides of the room, a computer, and a cash register on a countertop behind bars with a small opening. Though there was an older gentleman in a bank uniform with a small badge sitting at the countertop, aside from him the room was almost empty.

The man looked up at Harry from his computer and gave a polite smile and stood up.

"Hello, how can I help you."

"I have some things I'd like to sell."

At Harry's answer, the man frowned a bit. "I'm sorry but you can only sell certain items here, please try the PokeMart ."

"Yes I'm aware, " Harry assured politely. " I can't sell these at the PokeMart. " Harry reached into his waist pouch and pulled out a royal purple money pouch with a golden G embroidered on the front. From the bag he pulled out three coins, one gold, one silver, and one bronze, the magical creatures and the wizards that had made up the heads and tails of the coins were no longer there, only smooth aged metal, the items, like Harry, having been adapted to the new world.

Harry handed over the three coins to the man through the slot in the bars, the man's eyes going wide in mild shock as he saw just what he was holding. He took out a magnifying glass, carefully inspecting each of the coins, turning them over making sure he's seen them from every inch.

Setting down the coins and magnifying glass he turned to Harry and spoke. "Please excuse me I'll be right back." Turning on his heel he went through the door behind him.

Not even a minute later he came back, this time with a middle-aged woman also wearing a bank uniform wearing the same badge as him. He gestured toward where he had left the coins and magnifying glass as the woman walked over and began inspecting them just like he had.

" I'm just getting a second opinion on the authenticity." He informed Harry, the polite smile once again on his face.

Harry just gave a polite smile of his own and nodded his head, waiting patiently.

"They're real." The woman said when she was done inspecting the coins. The man thanked her and she promptly left through the door they had just come through.

"Sorry about that, we have to make sure that any items we buy are authentic. Many people come here thinking that they have something of value only to find out that it's fake or a replica." The man explained, as he took out a mechanical scale and began to weigh each coin as he typed away on the computer.

"It's okay, I understand, you're just being thorough, it's part of your job," Harry assured.

"Now would you like the whole lump sum in cash or put into an account or would you prefer your payment some other way?"

"Could I get a quarter of it in cash and the rest put into my checking account please?"

"Of course, though if you don't mind me asking where exactly did you find a bronze, silver, and gold relic? Please put your card in here." He asked as he held out a card scanner for Harry to insert his bank card.

"Inheritance," Harry answered shortly, in one word, not wanting to open the conversation to more personal questions. The man gives an understanding "Ah." To his answer as he finished typing, then reaching beneath the counter to open up a safe and pulled out a large stack of bills and a money counter. He quickly counted out the cash by hand before putting it through the money counter to double-check. After confirming that it was the right amount he slipped the money into an envelope and handed it to Harry along with a copy of his receipt.

"Alright here is your physical payment and the rest have been transferred to your checking account, is there anything else I can do for you?"

"No that's all, thank you very much. Have a good evening." Harry said as he put the envelope into his waist pouch and headed out the door, the banker bidding him farewell.

As Harry made his way back to the center he couldn't help but think how happy he was that he still had his Gringotts pouch. In all honesty, when Harry had woken up in the pokemon world he had forgotten that he'd been holding it when he had been taken away by Jirachi. It had been the day after he had woken up when he found out that it had come with him. Albert had been out near the spot where they had found Harry in the woods, checking on the process of the experiment they had been going to look into when they found the unconscious boy when he had found several very large mounds of gold, silver, and bronze coins along with, what they discovered after hours of hauling and sorting, the money pouch that was still bigger on the inside, though not bottomless. However the coins weren't the normal knut, sickle, and galleon that Harry knew they should be, they had become relics, coins that had been used in ancient civilizations over 3000 years before. They had also appreciated in value by a wide margin as well. Harry had tried paying Professor Rowan, as compensation for helping him when he found out that he still had his money, but the professor had adamantly refused to take his money and shut down any type of protest on Harry's part. Not even letting Harry use his own money to pay for his supplies when he started on his journey, claiming that since Harry was a minor in his care it was his job to provide those things and that Harry could spend his money on whatever pleasantries he saw fit when he was alone on his journey. Though he had helped Harry set up several bank accounts, one in each of the top and second top banks in Sinnoh and Kalos, as well as having him put most of his money, the giant stacks of gold silver, and bronze coins that couldn't fit into the bag, into savings accounts in the most used banks in the Kanto, Johto Hoenn, Sinnoh regions, as well as 1 in the Bank of Unova and the Bank of Kalos. That way no matter which region he was in he'd be able to access his money if ever he was in an emergency. Harry currently had about enough coins to fill a public waste bin in his Gringotts pouch and enough for him to travel comfortably for a decade in his checking account, at least in the one he was using for his journey in Sinnoh.

The sky had just started turning dark when Harry walk through the doors of the pokemon center. Instead of going to his room, he headed straight to the lower level where the kitchens that this pokemon center had, were at. Looking into each one he saw that there were already people using some of the others. Each kitchen room was set up like a cooking classroom, with multiple ovens, stovetops, microwaves, countertops, and refrigerators, so multiple people could use kitchen rooms at once. He would have preferred if the pokemon center had had individual kitchenette rooms that were a lot more private, he didn't feel like socializing while he was cooking for his pokemon right now, especially when it was pokepuffs. It wasn't that he didn't like people or had a hard time with the small talk that would normally ensue, it was more that he didn't always feel like sharing recipes or answering in-depth questions about fairy types in the Kalos region. Whenever Harry had to socialize while cooking it was normally because people would wander over either following their pokemon who had been drawn in by the smell of his food or the trainer themselves having been lured by the smell, which normally led to questions about the recipes or the pokemon. Usually, this wasn't so bad and Harry did enjoy talking with people and comparing recipes and dietary needs of certain pokemon, though once the subject of pokepuffs or Sylveon came up then things could get a bit irksome. Some people would sit and watch him a bit too closely or intensely as he made pokepuffs or Sylveons Pokemon food, or someone asked questions nonstop about everything he knew about fairy types or the Kalos region in general.

Harry got lucky when he looked into the fourth kitchen and found that it was empty. Walking in he put down the groceries he had been carrying and got to work setting out everything he'd need to make his pokepuffs and the pokemon food as well as putting his shopping away in his backpack.

He got to work making the pokepuffs first. Wanting these to be a special batch he added in some minced cheri berry's in Tyrunt's, petcha berry's into Sylveon's, razz berry's into Ralt's, and appear berry into Murkrow's pokepuff base mix before he put them in the oven. While they were baking he made the icing and frosting that would go on when they were done. He added some crushed-up pokemon cookies into the frosting mixture as an added bit of flavor and texture before setting the bowls of topping aside and started preparing the pokémon food he would be making for breakfast the next morning.

Later on that night, after dinner, Harry and his Pokemon were in his room relaxing before going to sleep.

Harry was sitting on his bed, Sylveon in his lap nuzzling him gently as he ran a brush over its fur.

"Alright all done, next," Harry said as he finished brushing the fairy-types lower ribbons, leaving its fur glossy and smooth. Sylveon jumped off his lap and onto the floor with Ralts who had already been brushed, her teal bowl-cut shiny as well as her horns.

Tyrunt stalked over to Harry as the trainer moved to sit on the edge of the bed. Harry moved to have the dual-type standing between his legs as he got to work brushing the fur around its neck, his opposite hand holding its head and guiding it on where to go. As Harry continued to brush his largest pokemon he felt it begin to relax, its large head lulling to the side and almost nuzzling into his hand as he brushed its fur on the other side. Harry smiled at the action, knowing that his Tyrunt rarely ever let itself become this lax, he decided to brush the Tyrunts fur a second and third time, just so he could enjoy the feeling of his usually ornery pokemon being at ease for a bit longer.

"Alright there we go, your all done," Harry said giving a pat on Tyrunt's head, the prehistoric pokemon lazily moving back to the corner it had situated itself in when Harry had first released it in his room.

"Alright Murkrow, you're the last one," Harry said, putting down the brush and picking up a spray bottle, beckoning the bird-like pokemon over. Murkrow looked at the bottle and Harry from her place perched on the back of the desk chair before sharply turning her head away with a dismissive "caw".

Harry let out a huff at her antics. He could tell by her emotions that she was being difficult just to be difficult, she wasn't upset. He knew how to handle her though, even if he didn't like having to resort to it so soon.

Harry got up and walked over to where he had put his pokepuff basket, the action catching all of his pokemon's attention.

"You four have been training so hard the last couple of days for our rematch tomorrow. I know that our first battle didn't go so well and that I er... wasn't exactly the ideal picture of the perfect trainer. But tomorrow is a new chance and I'm sure we'll do loads better than we did before. So as a reward for working so hard and a thank you, for getting back out there with me and giving gym battles another chance, I made these as a treat." He said opening the basket to show them the pokepuffs he had made.

"Ral!" "Ty!" "Syl!" "Krow!" His pokemon all cried in delight at the smell of the pastries.

He took out the ones he had made especially for Sylveon, Ralts, and Tyrunt, giving them to their respective owners.

"MurMurMurkrow!" His Murkrow squawked indignantly when he didn't give her one.

"You want one? Then you'll let me." Harry said, shaking the spray bottle meaningfully at the avian.

Murkrow looked at the bottle then over at her companions who were happily eating their confections. Harry felt a twinge of annoyance come off of her before it was overshadowed by her desire for a treat of her own as she flew over to him and landed in his lap.

Harry laughed a bit at the disgruntled look on her face, feeling that she didn't care that she was being made to do this. He took the spray bottle and sprayed out a gentle mist over her, and began to stroke the oily substance across her feathers with his hand. The spray itself was a special type of grooming product for birds or feathered pokemon since you couldn't brush feathers.

After a few minutes of stroking, and making sure that he got every single one of her feathers, Murkrow was just as shiny as the rest of his team.

"There, that wasn't so bad was it?"

"MurMurkrow." Murkrow squawked, looking pointedly at the basket.

Harry rolled his eyes, amused, but conceded.

"Fine, here." He opened the basket and pulled out the pokepuff he had made for her. The dark pokemon immediately started pecking away at the puff, giving a happy trill at the flavor.

Harry watched his pokemon happily eating his gift with a pleased smile on his face. At that moment he couldn't care less whether or not he would win or lose his rematch, he and his companions were happy and for the time being, he was completely content.

The calm Harry had felt didn't last. It was just past noon and he was currently sitting in the middle of the pokemon center lobby, feeling restless and twitchy. He and his pokemon had already had breakfast, gone over their strategy for the day's battle, and had gone through another round of brushing and grooming. After having done all that it had only been 9 a.m. and his battle with Roark wasn't going to be until mid-afternoon once Roark was done at the mines. Which left Harry feeling antsy about what to do to kill time. He had wanted his pokemon to be in tip-top shape for their battle so he didn't want to try and squeeze in any training that would have them even the slightest bit winded before their battle started. Which was how he had found himself in the center's lobby watching old pokemon contest reruns on his Town Map and jumping at every little sound, thinking it was his Pokedex going off to tell him Roark was ready at the gym.

Just as he was getting his nerves to settle down the sound of the pokemon center doors opening had his head shot up in surprise, for what felt like the hundred and first time that day. He looked back down at the screen of his device when he realized it was just the door and not his dex. However, once his brain processed who he had seen coming in he looked up again.

"Paul?" He called out, getting the purple-haired trainers' attention before he could stop himself, or think better of it.

The mentioned trainer didn't show any surprise at the sudden call of his name, calmly looking over at who had called him. Upon seeing the green-eyed coordinator he stopped his walk to the front desk but didn't make a move to go over to the other trainer. Seeing Paul stop and looking over at him, Harry got up and walked over, feeling a bit embarrassed at his sudden outburst upon seeing the other boy.

"Hello, here to challenge Roark?" He asked as he came to stand next to the taller boy.

"Yeah," Paul said in a short tone. "What about you? Didn't you say you were going to challenge the Oreburgh gym?" He asked, switching the conversation around on Harry like he normally did.

At the question, Harry looked down at the ground. "I challenged him a few days ago, but I lost." He admitted quietly.

When he looked up again Paul's black eyes seemed to have gotten harder. "So you lost and now you're done with gyms, hmph, pathetic," Paul said sharply, taking Harry's quiet admission as a sign of defeat and moving to walk past him.

Harry was taken aback by the sudden harsh words but shook them off quickly when he saw Paul moving to walk away.

"Hey, I never said I was giving up on gyms. I just said I lost." Harry snapped back as he moved to stand in front of Paul again. He felt irritated that the other boy had just assumed he had given up, sure he'd considered it but Paul didn't know that, and immediately thought he was weak for it.

"I'm still not sure about challenging gyms and all, but I'm not just giving up. Actually, I'm scheduled for a rematch with Roark today once he gets back." Harry said glaring up at the other trainer.

Harry hated it when other people thought they had some right to judge him for his choices as a pokemon trainer. Professor Rowan taught him that there were many different people and pokemon in the world and that not everybody had the same method of going about training their pokemon. And that not every pokemon responded the same to every training method. Everyone was entitled to make their own choices as trainers and nobody had the right to dictate what those choices were. Harry felt the same irritation boiling inside him that he had felt when Zoey had started getting upset when she found out that he would be challenging a gym.

Paul just stared back at Harry's unrelenting glare, his own eyes not quite as hard as they had been when he thought Harry was quitting. The two stayed like that for almost half a minute before the moment was broken by Harry's Pokedex going off.

The green-eyed psychic looked down at the device and read the notification

"Looks like Roark's back." He said before looking back to Paul. "Looks like your battles going to have to wait."

With that, he made his way toward the front entrance. As he started heading back to the gym he chose not to take or question why Paul was going with him to the gym.

Sinnoh Region -Oreburgh Gym

"Welcome back Roark, how was the treasure hunt?" Ian asked the gym leader, who had just returned with a trio of trainers from the coal mines.

"We've really discovered something this time. This may just be the best fossil yet." The redheaded gym leader explained excitedly.

As the two were talking the front door to the gym opened up as Harry and Paul walked in.

"Oh he's here already, and Paul's with him," Ian said as he spotted Harry and Paul. "He's your first challenger after the rematch." He said pointing to Paul. The other four people turned around to look.

Harry was a bit surprised when he saw Ash Dawn and Brock standing in the gym along with Roark and Ian.

Roark immediately walked forward upon seeing the two trainers, "I'm Roark the gym leader, nice to meet you." He introduced himself to Paul. "Harry it's good to see you back."

"The same here," Paul said back and Harry gave a polite nod.

"Sorry to inform you but Harry here already has a battle scheduled for today so your battle will have to wait until we're done." He told the older of the two.

"That's fine," Paul said shortly.

"Hey, Harry!" An excited voice greeted.

Harry turned to Ash as he walked up followed closely by Dawn and Brock.

"I'm glad we caught up with you," Dawn added on with Brock nodding in agreement.

"Hello, it's good to see you all again," Harry said with a slightly nervous smile on his face. He was shocked at the fact that they seemed genuinely happy to see him, even though they had only just met.

"Oh, I see you all know each other," Roark said, sounding pleased at the thought of the trainers already being friends.

"Yeah, we met on our way here actually," Brock explained before he frowned and turned to Harry. "Ian said that Paul's battle would be after a rematch, does that mean you've already tried challenging Roark before?" Brock asked, though he probably already knew the answer and was just looking for confirmation.

"Yeah, but I lost," Harry said before turning to look at Roark. "But I don't plan on letting it happen this time."

Roark smiled at seeing the steely determination burning behind Harry's green eyes. "That's what I like to hear. Why don't we get started." He said and started making his way toward the battlefield, Harry following after.

" I can't wait to see a gym battle," Dawn said in excitement. Her statement pulled a few shocked gasps and looks from the others in the room.

"You've never seen one? " Roark asked surprised, as he turned around.

"No, and I want to learn everything about them I can!" She confirmed.

"Well, then it's fine with me. Harry how about you?"

"Oh, yeah, it's fine with me I guess," Harry said, the sudden question throwing off his determined mood for a moment before he quickly pulled himself together and headed after Roark.

Harry and Roark, we're standing on opposite sides of the battlefield once again, with Ian standing between them. In the stands, Ash Dawn and Brock were sitting together, while Paul was sitting by himself at the other end of the stands. Dawn was looking around the gym in fascinated delight.

"Awesome so this is what it's like in a gym." She said, trying to see every detail of the interior.

When it comes to battlefields there are all sorts of different types. Now of course this gym is a rock-type gym, so it's set up to battle with rock-type pokemon in mind." Brock explained next to her.

Ash, who was on the other side of Brock, was more focused on the two about to do battle.

"Come on Harry, give it your all!" He cheered.

"Yeah, have a great battle, I know you can do it!" Dawn cheered as well.

Harry looked over to them and gave another tentative smile. He was still surprised at how supportive and friendly they were towards him. They had only spoken together for an afternoon one time and yet they were here watching his gym battle and cheering him on. The surprising thing was that they didn't seem to be phoning it in or forcing it. Like it was natural for them to be doing this, there wasn't a need for any long conversations during a long trip or life-threatening troll attacks, just a nice conversation and a battle, then boom, they're all friends.

"The Oreburgh city gym battle between Roark the gym leader and Harry the challenger is about to get underway. The battle will be the same as last time, three on three, and as soon as all of one side's pokemon are unable to battle the challenge will be over. In addition, only the challenger will be allowed to switch pokemon." Ian called out from his place on the sidelines between the two trainers.

"Now let the battle begin!"

Harry snapped himself back into the present, looking forward at Roark. He felt the squirming sensation of nervousness in his guts. Though unlike last time he didn't feel like he was being crushed by his nerves, he felt the same type of nervousness he felt just before his first contest. A strange mix of dread and anticipation.

Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath in through his nose before exhaling. As his eyes snapped open, Harry took out a pokeball and enlarged it.

"Alright, this is my new debut. Your on!" He said with determination as he threw out his pokeball.

A/N: so how many of you forgot that Harry had been holding his Gringotts pouch when he was taken away in chapter 1, because I did for like 19 chapters, I always intended for this to be part of the story but I always forgot to write about it well until now LOL.

1 Knut is about $0.01 or 0.01£ and a bronze relic is 1,000 PokémonDollars which is 10$

Also, one more thing, because I don't think I put this in any of my author's notes before, I know I've responded to comments before but I don't think I've ever addressed it in a chapter.

People have been asking me if I'll bring over Sirius or Remus or the twins, later on, the answer is No. Nobody from The Wizarding World is coming over. Nor is Harry's invisibility cloak or his wand or trunk or the like. And even if they did as you can see by this chapter they wouldn't be magical anymore, his cloak would just be a shiny piece of fabric.

And as for any people, no one could really survive the transfer from The Wizarding World to the Pokemon world. In order to survive the transfer, a person needs to have a large amount of magic to keep them alive until they can reach a point where Jirachi can sort of stabilize them and alter them to live in the Pokemon world. Harry almost didn't survive the transfer and the only reason he did was that not only does he have a very large magical core he also had an extra store of magic in his scar i.e. the Horcrux. (I figure if a Horcrux can bind a person's soul to a non-living object, or in this case a living object, it would have a large amount of magic in it.) The only two people that have enough magic to survive the transfer are Dumbledore and Voldemort, however even if either one of them were to be transferred into the Pokemon world either one would probably die immediately upon arrival, Dumbledore because he's like 112 years old and it's only because of the magic of wizards that he's able to live so long. And Voldemort already died and had his body destroyed and the only reason why he was able to survive was that his soul was being tethered to the world by his Horcrux AKA magic. So even if he were to get his body back it would be done through Magic and immediately upon coming to the Pokemon world where magic doesn't exist his magic-made body would immediately Come Undone.

Well until next time. And as always thank you so much for all of the follows, favorites, and reviews you leave me, they really really inspire me and make me want to write.
