Well, it took nearly a full 365 days' worth of training, but I'd managed to get every one of my members of the Battle Brigade to go Super Saiyan comfortably as well as get Gohan to finally turn Super Saiyan as well, though he did tell me he was worried about using it to kill people. But I had to remind him that, if the Saiyans had their way, everyone on the planet would be killed. So I had to make sure he didn't go overboard when we fought against them.
But then, it happened. My Scouter picked up from about 10 light years away that the Saiyans were incoming hot. And since I'd gathered the Dragonballs about 100 days prior to their arrival, I immediately called up Bulma and Master Roshi and proceeded to go to the Kame House alongside them.
"It's time, guys! In only 20 minutes, those Saiyans will be arriving. We need to hurry and wish Goku back to life," I said in the message, them nodding and all of us meeting at the hermit's house as we then got the Dragonballs set in a group and out in the open. And they began to grow brightly.
"SHENRON! ARISE!" Roshi shouted, the powerful dragon then emerging from the Dragonballs... and it looked AWESOME! The skies got dark and the dragon's size made the entire ocean feel small!
"I HAVE COME TO GRANT YOU ONE WISH. TELL ME WHAT IT IS SO I MAY GO," Shenron stated, me nodding as I then spoke it.
"We wish that Son Goku, former name of Kakarot, was alive again!" I shouted, the dragon then having his eyes glow and... for some reason, I could feel Goku's power level... but NOT near us! It was still in Otherworld, but only now could I feel it with my sensing? Insane!
"YOUR WISH IS GRANTED! FAREWELL!" he shouted, me then looking at Bulma and Roshi and them being shocked as the Dragonballs proceeded to scatter across the planet and the skies returned to normal.
"B-But he didn't grant the wish! Goku still isn't here!" Bulma shouted.
"No, the wish was granted. It's just that I messed the wish up! I wished for him to be alive again. But I forgot to specify that I wanted him alive AND back on Earth! DAMMIT!" I shouted in fake anger, since I DID need to make sure it was still by the book.
"Well, then, we're just going to have to hold those Saiyans off until he gets here! How long would you say until he shows up?" Roshi asked.
"By my calculations, considering that I sense him in the afterlife and super far away from us despite that... roughly a million miles... he'll be spending almost 4 hours until he gets here!" I groaned.
"WHAT?! He's gotten THAT fast?!" Bulma gawked.
"He should be, considering his base power as of now is 5000! And that's BASE form! He's holding back about 15000 power inside of him! And Gohan is 14000, so that means he and Gohan are the best bets we have, since the rest of my Battle Brigade can only match up to Nappa and a little higher," I said, being 100 percent honest. All of them had managed to get up to a range of 7K to 7.3K, but that was it. I had no idea why the training wasn't that good, but then I remembered. When Goku was defeated at the end of the Saiyan Saga, he was on the cusp of death, so he got a major power boost. And then, after that, he trained at 100 times Earth's gravity the whole trip to Namek, and then, after fighting the Ginyu Force, he got to death's door again, and got healed by Frieza's healing tube, which got him to be almost 400 K.
So that meant that, if we wanted to get a decent chance at training Peppino, Gine, and Oragna, we had to have them get close to death by battling either Nappa or Vegeta and me then hiding them out of harm's way and giving them a Senzu bean each. And since Senzu Beans were so good at their job, it'd be an instant power-up! But after going to Korin prior to the fight, about 10 days ago, I only had enough Senzu Beans for 6 different people. So that meant I had to save 3 of them for my Brigade Saiyans and the rest would be for Krillin, Goku, and Gohan after the battle had concluded. And as for the others? It broke my heart, but they HAD to die.
"Okay, let's get going!" Bulma smiled, her about to fly off before I held her back.
"Oh no you don't, Bulma. You're about 1000 power less than all the other human warriors in our group and they're going to be risking their lives on that battlefield, as each of them have only gotten up to 5K in power. I'm going to try to protect them as much as I can, and I don't want you in the crossfire, in case we need someone to pick up the fallen warriors," I said, her frowning and nodding.
"Fine... I'll stay behind and monitor the situation with the custom Scouter... stay safe, okay?" she said, me nodding as I then contacted everyone by raising my Power Level all the way up to 2 K. It was the go-to that it was time to meet up at the Saiyan's drop zone. And judging from their incoming angle, I knew it was going for East City.
"It's time?! Okay, we're coming!" Krillin said as he joined up alongside the rest of the warriors, me sensing that each of them had gotten much stronger than they would originally, them all now being 5 K for each of them aside from Yamcha, him having 4K power. But Gohan? he was the most impressive. He'd gotten trained in base power to be up to 6K when in control of his emotions, so now he was 60K when he was in Super Saiyan form, meaning he was more than capable of going after Vegeta, should the situation call for it.
But as mentioned prior, he was still hesitant to go that strong.
I met up with everyone just outside the city proper, all of them looking ready for the fight of their lives. But the ones who looked to most cocky were Krillin and Tien, with the most nervous being Gohan and Chiaotzu.
"How do you know that they're going to touch down here? Is it because of that device on your head?" Yamcha asked, me nodding at him as I touched the scanner parts and then looked up towards the north.
"According to the Scouter, they're coming from that direction at a high velocity, and they're going to collide into the city at a 75-degree angle. And the speeds that those crafts are going at would create a large crater into the ground when they arrive. Our first goal? Prevent as many lives lost in the city as we possibly can. We need to evacuate the city within the next 5 minutes or we're risking hundreds of innocent people getting killed," I said, Gohan gasping at that as I then rushed down into the city and the others soon followed me. And of course, the citizens looked spooked by my appearance alongside Piccolo's, but I spoke to them specifically.
"We're not the ones you should be afraid of, citizens. In only 4 minutes from now, two large meteors are going to collide into this city and destroy everything. You need to evacuate everyone," I said, the people looking scared, but they looked to not move at all.
"Well, they're not trusting us... what should we do?" Krillin frowned.
"Chiaotzu? Pick up as many people as you can with telekinesis and send them towards Orange City due southwest of here. Anyone that doesn't get included in that? We're going to carry them as far away from the blast zone as possible before those Saiyans show up," I said, everyone nodding at that.
"Got it! Let's roll!" Gine said with seriousness as we then proceeded to work together... of course, some of the citizens were scared out of their mind when we managed to pick up almost 60 people per person, even Gohan was surprised with how much strength he now had in his body! But I also made sure that the group would be out of range by taking them as far south as I could, us managing to completely evacuate the entire city... and then, as Krillin was escorting the last of the civilians to the city due south of us, the blast finally happened, with some of the people holding onto Krillin looking back at the loud noise... mainly because there were two of them spread apart. The first one was of Vegeta's pod landing. Then, while the people were looking back at the city, Nappa's ship closed in hot nearly 10 seconds after, which made them gasp.
"Y-You weren't lying at all?... My god... you're all heroes!" one of the denizens said as he looked on in the distance.
"Don't thank us yet, because those meteors happen to have villainy on them. And we're here to stop them," I said, them nodding. If they were willing to believe me now, they'd definitely believe that we had to stop bad guys from destroying everything.
"We trust you," one of the children holding onto Krillin said as he then zoomed faster towards the south. And only then did I sense that the two Saiyans were emerging from their space pods.
"Hmm..." Vegeta frowned as I looked at them from above. Sure, I'd evacuated the city of people and animals, but that just made the duo confused.
"Strange... a whole city, yet there's nobody around to welcome us! What a pity, huh?" Nappa asked in annoyance as I then spoke up.
"Oh, I wouldn't say that, Nipple," I said, which my name definitely got the Baldy's eye to tick.
"WHAT?!" Nappa asked in anger as he then tried to punch in my direction, but I simply grabbed the punch midway as I had grown my height to be at least 4 times my power, which made Nappa surprised at how I caught his hand.
"It's less that you don't have a welcoming party and more that we evacuated the city before you could destroy it. Because I know how you two work. You kill people for fun and work best for an audience. Sickening," I frowned, me then throwing Nappa towards the ground, him growling after as I then returned to normal size and Vegeta looked at us with a smug smirk as he saw the rest of the group arrive after me.
"So, you're the welcoming party then, I assume?" Vegeta asked with an annoyed smirk.
"And you're Prince Vegeta, heir to the throne of the Saiyans, reduced to a lowly grunt in Frieza's ranks," Gine frowned as she swished her tail behind her.
"HAH! And what do you know?! Who the hell are you five in the black armor, anyway? Are you Chill's version of the Ginyu Force or something?" Vegeta laughed, which the five nodded at.
"In the sense we're her most trusted warriors, yes. But you'll never catch us doing those ridiculous dance moves any day of the week," Peppino growled. "Let's take this to an area that has less chance for collateral damage, why don't we?"
After that, Vegeta and Nappa scoffed and got off the ground after. And at this same time, Krillin finally returned from the evacuation efforts.
"Fine, very well, our destruction can wait until we deal with all of you lot," Vegeta smirked cockily, us then rushing off towards the west and to a set of plains, me sensing only animals in the vicinity as we finally touched down onto the ground.
"Here seems to be a good area to set up shop. So. We outnumber you blokes, 12 to 2, so how are we going to do this fairly?" I asked with venom in my voice.
"Like you're one to talk about fairness! Just watch us weed out the competition," Vegeta smiled as he then proceeded to sprinkle some special seeds on the ground. At least 12 of them. And after that, he poured some special growth serum on all of them. And afterwards, the group of Earthlings looked on in fear as the plants then grew into the nastiest monsters of the Saiyan's repertoire: Saibamen.
"What are those freaky things?!" Krillin gawked at them.
"Guys, meet the Saibamen. Living plant monsters that obey whoever grows them to maturity. But don't worry, all of them are weaker than us, my Scouter says as much," Oragna smirked at them.
"Go, Saibamen! Kill them all. And don't screw this one up!" Vegeta ordered, us then entering a battle against the Saibamen, with me proceeding to attack mine with everyone else managing to kill their Saibamen no sweat... except for Yamcha, as he was about even in power with his foe, him being the weakest of the human warriors at this moment in time.
"HAH! I've got the last one, huh? These little green guys are cake!" Yamcha smirked like his usual cocky self. And then, Vegeta frowned.
"Saibaman! Countdown," he said, that making the others in my Battle Brigade gasp.
"Yamcha! Don't let him grab onto you! Avoid it!" Gine shouted as the Saibaman then rushed forward towards Yamcha and he had to immediately get evasive and run for it.
"KEEP FLYING, YAMCHA! OR YOU'RE GOING TO EXPLODE WITH IT!" Gine shouted, which Yamcha gasped at as he then tried to get even more evasive... but the Saibaman, with only two seconds left, managed to rush faster than the former bandit and latched onto his stomach!
"NO!" I shouted... and then, the horrid explosion wail of the Saibaman happened. Yamcha was left in a crater in the ground with a giant hole inside of his torso.
"Y-YAMCHA!" Krillin shouted in fear as the lady's man then lost the rest of his life and perished right on the ground.
"YOU MONSTERS! What are we supposed to tell Puar and Bulma?!" Krillin shouted in fury. As for Gohan? He was terrified. And I knew why. It was the very first time he'd seen someone die before.
"Get that trash out of the way! It's starting to stink the place up!" Vegeta laughed, which I growled at him angrily.
"Is that what your father told you?" I asked, that making the prince gasp and look at me in his own anger.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?!" he shouted angrily.
"Have some goddamn respect for the dead, prick! If you say ANYTHING MORE about our fallen warriors in a mocking or jovial way, I'm going to show you how strong I really am. And trust me, brother, you do NOT want to see that, because it's your funeral if you do so," I growled at him angrily, which Vegeta smirked at me after.
"Oh really? And how strong would that be now?" Vegeta asked, me smirking at him.
"You know why I'm a pacifist, Vegeta? It's because my strength is twice that of Frieza's when I'm in my final form... or, at the very least, it USED to be that way. But then, I discovered a new transformation. One that can make me 200 times stronger than my older brother! And you know how strong Frieza is, otherwise you wouldn't follow his orders blindly and without hesitation," I frowned, him then gawking at that.
"Yo-You're joking. You can't possibly be that strong!" he gawked, me smiling at that.
"She's not, though. We were all witnesses when she went full power one day in training," Gine growled. "And when we finish you off, we're not going to let you forget it."
"Peh! Fine. Nappa, take care of the weaklings," Vegeta said as he let the dog loose from his chains. He immediately proceeded to rush straight at my Saiyan allies, which they proceeded to get into a battle of telegraphing attacks and countering each other's strikes. But because of them being in a weaker state, they weren't doing any major damage to Nappa.
"Looks like we have to prove our training successful, don't we, ladies?" Peppino asked.
"Right! Prepare for the legends to come true!" Gine shouted as they then all proceeded to enter Super Saiyan right before Nappa could connect a fatal blow to Oragna... and after the transformation? His hand actually hit a pure slab of muscle that did not bend against his might. He then looked up and the fear filled his entire being.
"N-No... NO! You can't be!" he shouted in fear as he then got thrown down into the ground right by Vegeta by the pig-ponytail Saiyan! And Vegeta gawked at the hairstyle change and he, as well, was quivering.
"You're... You can't be! It's supposed to be a myth! You're actually SUPER SAIYANS?!" he shouted in anger as they then proceeded to rush down to Nappa and proceeded to get into a much fairer match, three against one, which Nappa gawked at the numerous attacks he was going against until, eventually, he managed to grab Gine by the tail, which not only drained her of strength... it also canceled out her Super Saiyan strengths!
"ACK! Let her go right now, you bald brute!" Peppino shouted in anger.
"Let down those blonde locks right now and let me handle the scrubs! Or else I'm snapping her neck right here and right now!" Nappa growled, me frowning at him.
"What's to say you'll keep your word? I know you, Nappa. You NEVER keep your promises, so tell me why I should believe you," I frowned at him angrily.
"And how would you know unless you do so? Because Vegeta is still leagues above all three of them and your stupid cloud people," Nappa smirked as I sighed. He was right. Though Stratos and Sphara had trained very hard and had a stronger status than everyone else, they only managed to reach 13K apiece. And as for Vegeta's power right now? It was actually up to 20K. He'd been training harder than I expected.
"Fine. If you make one wrong move to Gine, I'm snapping your neck in two," I said, growing my body in power and size so he'd get the gist. He then gulped and nodded as the Peppino and Oragna then let down their transformations and, only after this, did Nappa let go of Gine and let her fall down to the ground.
"Now, let me at those pipsqueaks!" Nappa smirked as he then proceeded to start off by doing a nasty move. He rushed in like a wrecking ball and completely chopped off Tien's right arm just by zooming into him! And Gohan gawked at this, and the strength Nappa had, him looking terrified.
"Gohan, you need to do it, quick," Piccolo said to Gohan, but the kid whimpered in fear.
"I-I can't... I can't!" Gohan cried in fear as... well, it happened. Chiaotzu rushed up to Nappa's backside and latched onto him for dear life.
"CHIAOTZU! DON'T DO IT!" Tien shouted.
"I'm sorry, Tien... this is for the good of the Earth!" the little mime psychic cried before then forcing his body to explode in a massive blast of pure Ki energy... and after the blast, since Chiaotzu had trained to be a bit under 6 K, he had managed to leave some visible damage on Nappa's body, and left a giant gaping hole in his armor's back.
"That little brat! He thought he could kill me with a suicide attack that weak?! What a fool," Nappa growled as Tien then growled.
"Don't worry, Chiaotzu... I won't let you be alone up there..." Tien growled as he then sent forth a zap at Nappa from his third eye, making him paralyzed in place and in the air, which Nappa gawked at.
"W-What?!" he gawked.
"TRI BEAAAAMMM... HAAAAAAAAAA! ! ! ! !" Tien shouted as he let out a fully powered Tri beam attack from his left arm, using all of his spirit into it in one fell swoop... and after it connected to Nappa, I felt his power drop down to be 6K in total, with even more damage visible from his body.
"Rghh... rgghh... you're tougher than you look... for an Earthling..." he growled in pain.
"Choke on it... monster..." Tien gasped before he finally fell to the ground. Another fallen warrior. And after that?
"GOOOKUUUU! HURRY UP AND GET HERE!" Krillin shouted in fear, which Nappa then growled and rushed towards Krillin.
"YOU'RE NEXT, TINY! YAAAAAUUUGG-" Nappa was about to rush full steam into Krillin before Vegeta shouted.
"NAPPA! WAIT!" Vegeta ordered, which Nappa then stopped right away.
"Uh... what is it, Vegeta?" Nappa asked in surprise.
"This 'Goku' you speak of? He wouldn't happen to be Kakarot, would he?" Vegeta asked with a smug smile.
"Yeah... what's it to you, murderer?" Gine growled, having since recovered from her tail grabbing fiasco.
"He couldn't even defeat Radditz by himself! What makes you think he could take any of us down?! Especially when he's dead?" Vegeta laughed.
"Oh, that's because we made a wish with the Dragonballs to make him alive again. He's been training in the afterlife from a master of Martial Arts, one that's even stronger than you are. He's going to be here in only 3 hours, just you wait. When he gets here, you'll be running away with those tails between your legs," Stratos frowned at them.
"Really, now? Fine. Three hours. Not a minute more. During this time, we will not throw a single punch or destroy a single thing. If Kakarot refuses to show? We're going to kill all of you, one by one," Vegeta smirked smugly.
"Fine. And this goes for all of us. If anyone fires a single shot or throws a single punch, I'll end everything quickly and effortlessly. And believe you me, you don't want to see me when I do that. It's horrifying," I growled, that making Nappa and Vegeta gulp and nod as we then simply stood around and waited as I then set the alarm on my scouter. And Katie wasn't in it. I had her wait at Kame House in Bulma's scouter since I didn't want her to be in mine should Vegeta try to aim for it.
"And now we play the waiting game... those bastards killed three good men today... we won't let their deaths go unpunished," I growled.
"I... I'm sorry I couldn't do anything... I was... I was so scared..." Gohan said with fear, me looking at him with a sigh.
"It's okay, Gohan. You're still a child. You shouldn't be exposed to this stuff at such an early age... but unfortunately, your uncle Radditz caused all of this, so now we have to finish it," I frowned, Gohan gawking at that. "If you want to blame anyone as for why these two murderers got here? Blame Radditz. He's the one that came here to find Goku. He's the one who kidnapped you and held you for ransom. He's the one that had a hand in your dad's death. And he's the one who brought these two brutes here. If you ever need to summon your strength, don't be afraid of the villains you'll be facing. Get angry at your uncle for being the reason that this is all happening," I frowned, him nodding at that.
"Okay... I will," Gohan said with absolute seriousness.
"Speaking of which, what the hell is a Namekian doing on this planet? I thought they only existed on Planet Namek?" Vegeta asked out loud, that making Piccolo look at him in shock, but he didn't say anything.
"We have no idea what you're talking about. But let's just say that Piccolo is... special. Very special," I frowned, that making the green man growl. "He's the one who's been training Gohan since Radditz died. And Gohan is our plan B in case Goku doesn't get here on time. He can wipe the floor with both of you," I frowned, that making Vegeta smirk.
"A little runt like that, beating us? I'd love to see that," Vegeta bragged as we then simply sat around in silence for the rest of our time... we had a long time to wait... and I sensed Goku would only need 3 hours and 5 minutes to get to Earth from Otherworld. So we just had to survive for 5 more minutes once the timer went off.
