"I did NOT study for that test!"

A chorus of agreement reverberated throughout 1-A as a chunk of students felt themselves akin to the pinkette.

"I mean, to be fair, this semester was certainly something."

Another round of agreements flooded 1-A as the students internalized Denki's words, silently reflecting on their hectic first semester at UA.

The conversation within the classroom remained the same, with students speaking on the upcoming final exams and some theorizing on how they could improve their chances of passing.

It was the latter that Momo and her group were speaking of.

"If you're having trouble with some subjects I'd be more than happy to tutor you."

The trio of Kyouka, Mashirao, and Hanta allowed the offer to process before sharing a look amongst themselves.

After what felt like minutes, the three finally returned their eyes to the now anxious student before them before vigorously nodding their heads.

"Thank you Momo!"

"You're a lifesaver!"

"I appreciate your kindness, Yaoyorozu."

The show of gratitude from the trio dispatched a blush across the student's face as she feverently shook her hands in an attempt to dismiss the praise.

The act of which was useless.

Mina, having overheard the offer, immediately appeared before the group, a wide grin stamped firmly upon her face.

"Mind helping the rest of us study, Yaomomo?"

"Can I ask you a favor, Green?"

The aforementioned Sorcerer stopped in his tracks before turning toward his friend, a smile washing over his features.

"Of course!"

His smile grew as he spoke causing a light dusting of pink to kiss the pale student's cheeks as her coal eyes desperately fought to avoid the Jujutsushi before her.

"W-Would you mind coming to the study session with me? Having another music geek there would make the whole thing a lot more tolerable."

Her dark eyes focused on the wall to her right as she spoke, her blush growing with every word spoken.

Izuku's Six Eyes sparkled with understanding as he offered a nod, the bun containing his tri-colored locks threatening to implode as he did so.

"I'd be happy to."

Upon hearing his agreement, the rocker girl released the breath stalling in her throat as her body relaxed, happy that the boy she had so much in common with would be going with her.

After offering a few words of gratitude, Kyouka turned on her heel and headed out of the classroom,

Ignorant of the glare threatening to burn her alive courtesy of Ochako.

"What do you think the practical portion is gonna be?"

The question from Toru sent the lunch table into a fit of speculation, each proposing a different possible exam for the practical portion of their final.

"Maybe robots again?"

The suggestion from Tsuyu inspired a variety of reactions from her table, some agreeing while others shot the idea down.

Izuku Midoriya was one of the latter.

Turning toward his fellow greenette, although she lacked his snow-white highlights, the Jujutsushi shook his head.

"I doubt we'll be facing robots again. By now everyone in 1-A can handle even a Zero Pointer with a moderate amount of effort. Not only that, but the all-out combat we engage robots in is only a small part of Hero work."

The explanation instilled a look of retrospection in the class's second favorite greenette as she thought over what the Sorcerer had said.

Before long the teen offered a nod, coming to the conclusion that Izuku was right.

"That makes more sense kero. Especially considering Aizawa-Sensei has been trying to branch us out more. Doesn't make sense for him to go back on that so late."

The table gave a chorus of agreement as they returned to their rampant speculation.

As they were doing so, however, an elbow made itself known to Izuku's Six Eyes.

Raising his right arm, the Jujutsushi wrapped his fingers around the appendage before throwing it away from his face.

Rearing the same arm back, Izuku reflexively sent a strong palm into the attacker's stomach, sending them backward.

Before the Sorcerer could make any further moves, however, a large hand cemented itself between the two boys.

Recognition settled upon the boy's features as he followed the large hand to its owner, a soft smile replacing his focused expression.

"Kendo! It's nice to see you!"

The aforementioned orange-haired girl smiled as she used her free right hand to give her former teammate a small wave.

"Likewise Midoriya!"

The two began to engage in casual conversation, as though completely forgetting the situation they were in.

The result of this ignorance was shock among all present at his lunch table, each looking at their class president with looks of disbelief as he continued to talk to the student they didn't recognize.

Before long, Shoto grew tired of watching the two speak and decided to ask the question lingering in the minds of those present.

"You know her, Midoriya?"

The question snapped the two from their trance as they turned to the dual-haired boy, looks of embarrassment threatening to overtake their features.

"I do, yeah. This is Itsuka Kendo, she was on my dodgeball team during the Sports Festival. She's in class 1-B"

Understanding permeated the table as Shoto nodded his head, now understanding why he hadn't recognized her.

He hadn't watched the optional event.

Itsuka felt a light blush stain her face as the students present at Izuku's lunch table focused their eyes on her.

Taking the opportunity to better introduce herself, Itsuka shrunk her left arm and raised it in a wave toward 1-A, a light smile on her face.

"As you all heard, I'm Itsuka Kendo, the class president of class 1-B-"

"Don't introduce yourself to the trouble magnets!"

The blonde who'd attempted to strike Izuku earlier punctuated his sentence with a sneer as his brow furrowed toward the Sorcerer in particular.

The aforementioned Jujutsushi gained a look of recognition as he snapped his fingers before pointing one toward the blonde.

"You're Neito Monoma! You tried to copy my quirk without properly knowing how it worked! I admit, if you didn't need to subjugate a Shikigami before use, we would've been in quite the predicament."

Neito's glare intensified as he clenched his fist, vexation bubbling within him as his mind recalled the Sports Festival.

Irate blue eyes shifted to the lunch table containing several of the Sorcerer's classmates, two in particular catching the blonde's attention.

"You two were involved in the Hosu incident alongside Midoriya."

Tenya and Shoto turned toward each other, confusion evident in their eyes before turning back toward Neito and offering an apprehensive nod.

As soon as they did so, an almost feral grin washed over the 1-B student as he levied an accusatory finger at the three, a laugh accompanying it.

"So not only has 1-A had a run-in with several villains at the USJ, but the class president fought a villain during the internship period? One day you'll all end up in a situation in which there isn't an out and you know what means right? You all end up dead."

The cafeteria fell silent as their eyes focused on the blonde, some students sporting looks of agreement.

The trend was further emphasized as a number of students began whispering, acknowledging the legitimacy of Neito's thought process.

"You're only half right."

Until Izuku spoke, however.

The blonde furrowed his brow, his own pale blue eyes meeting Izuku's vibrant sky-blue ones.

"How so?"

It was the Sorcerer's turn to glare toward the boy before him, his irritation being felt by all present.

"Because, even if I'm pushed to the very brink of death, I will always do my best to save my class, even if I wind up dead in the process. I swear on my pride as a Jujutsu Sorcerer!"

The speech silenced the growing whispers poised toward 1-A's villain-fueled reputation, instead instilling a look of shock on all present, even Neito himself.

1-A, however, sported looks of pride as a single thought permeated their minds.

"That's our class president!"

"Deku."

The aforementioned Sorcerer turned on his heel, his girlfriend mimicking the action as the two stopped their trek to the train station.

By the time he finished the motion, Izuku's brow was already furrowed, having already known who the speaker was via the nickname.

"Katsuki."

The ash blonde kissed his teeth, his perpetually wrathful ruby reds locked on the Jujutsushi before him.

"This upcoming final, I'll use my superior grades to remind you of your place, remind you that you're nothing but a pebble in my path to greatness. While I'm at it, I'll beat half and half too."

As soon as his deceleration was finished, the blonde walked past the duo toward the direction of the train station.

"You're still so self-absorbed, Katsuki."

The comment caused the boy to turn about-face, his ruby-red eyes settling on the glaring Sorcerer before him.

"What did you say De-"

"You've retreated so far in your anger and your narrow-minded pursuit of being the best that you're ignorant to those around you. If you can't recognize the strength of anyone besides myself and Todoroki, then you'll fall long before you can grasp the position of #1 Hero."

The act of being cut off and challenged infuriated Katsuki to no end, causing the blonde to grind his teeth and narrow his wrathful eyes toward the Jujutsushi before him.

The two remained still, each levying a strong glare at the other, daring the opposing to make a move.

Until finally, someone did.

Katsuki launched himself toward the Sorcerer, lashing out with a strong right hook.

Izuku raised his left arm, blocking the punch before responding with his own right uppercut.

The punch collided with the blonde's cheek, drawing blood that spattered onto the Jujutsushi's face and mouth, drops of which seeped between the boy's lips.

Rearing his head back, Katsuki slammed the top of his head into the Sorcerer's nose, breaking it and sending the boy reeling.

Following his attack, the blonde stuck the Sorcerer with a left jab before continuing with a right straight.

Izuku ducked under the punch before shoving his opponent back and jumping into the air.

Rotating 360 degrees as he fell, the Jujutsushi poured Cursed Energy into his legs as he prepared his next attack.

Not one to be outdone, Katsuki flexed his open palms, igniting a cluster of explosions as he eagerly awaited the chance to counter.

"3rd Stance: Hwechook."

Ruby red eyes widened as the student watched his classmate break into three separate visages, each threatening to pummel the boy with a different kick.

Luckily for Katsuki, the attack wasn't given a chance to land as a distinct scarf wrapped itself around the center visage, stopping the attack dead.

"I'll give you two the benefit of the doubt and pass this off as post-Sports Festival irritation but do know that this behavior will not be tolerated in the future, am I understood?"

The newly ensnared Izuku and temporarily quirkless Katsuki nodded at their teacher's warning, a mix of anger and embarrassment staining their faces.

With a sigh, Shota released his quirk alongside his capture scarf

"Good, now go home and study. Wouldn't want you two to flunk out before I get the chance to properly expel you."

Katsuki was the first to leave, cursing under his breath as he continued his pique-fueled march toward the train station.

Before Izuku and Ochako could head out, however, Shota rested a hand on the Jujutsushi's shoulder, stopping him in his tracks.

Spleen-filled eyes met lethargic ones as the Sorcerer fought desperately to keep his anger in check.

"What?"

The question had sounded far more vexed than he'd intended but regardless, the ire raging behind his Six Eyes remained the same.

Shota, however, remained unaffected as he lazily pointed toward Izuku's palm.

Following his teacher's finger, the vexation behind the Sorcerer's eyes melted as he shakily raised his palms to his face, unable to believe what his vibrant Six Eyes were perceiving.

There in the middle of his palms, as though responding to his anger, popped several small explosions.

"I believe that's enough for now, you may all take an hour-long break."

The study group groaned in relief, glad to be free from the assault of knowledge that was Momo's tutoring.

Once the break had been called, Ochako rose from her seat, eager to spend an hour with her boyfriend before having to be subjected to Momo's tutoring once more.

"Hey, Green, I found something neat I wanna show you."

The sentence stopped the girl dead as her eyes locked onto the source of the voice that'd been causing her increased irritation.

Kyouka was already beside the brunette's boyfriend, a smile on her face as she spoke to the Sorcerer.

Before long the two departed together,

Ignorant to the growing frustration within the brunette.

"A grand piano?"

Kyouka nodded as she ushered the boy forward toward the large instrument contained in the middle of a massive room.

Once the two had reached the instrument, the lavender-haired teen reached down and procured something much more familiar to the Sorcerer.

A cello.

Handing the new instrument to the Jujutsushi, Kyouka motioned the boy to a stool beside the piano bench before taking her seat behind the keys.

Turning toward his friend, Izuku tilted his head slightly, silently asking a question.

His classmate caught on and nodded her head as she lightly ran her fingers up and down the ivory keys.

"I know how to play, although not as well as I can play guitar."

Nodding in understanding, the Jujutsushi gingerly grabbed the bow of the instrument, running it across the strings with elegance only gained from dedicated practice.

Once they'd finished warming up Kyouka turned toward her friend, an excited twinkle in her eye as she clapped her hands together.

"So, what're we playing?"

Izuku's brow furrowed in concentration as his mind poured over a cacophony of pieces involving both a cello and piano.

Before long his face relaxed as a specific one came to mind.

"Janáček's Pohádka Con moto. Andante. Allegro. "

Recognition flashed over the lavender-haired girl's face as she nodded her head, lithe fingers resting over the keys marking the start of their piece.

"I think I know that one."

With those six words, she began playing, her coal eyes transfixed on the instrument before them.

The piece began almost playfully as Kyouka played a series of brief notes, complimented by Izuku's plucking of his cello, before halting.

This continued for upwards of a minute before the two finally fell into a lengthy string of notes.

Initially, both instruments remained light and airy, perfectly reflecting the title of the composition.

However, this motif quickly shifted as Izuku's cello reflected a tone of apprehension, Kyouma's piano following suit.

From there their playing instilled a sense of despair, as their low notes reverberated throughout the massive room.

Suddenly, the two stopped at the second minute, allowing a brief sense of anxiety to settle upon the room.

Five seconds later, they began to play, maintaining the same sense of despair being maintained via a series of ascending and descending notes from both of them.

While Izuku played a long string of unbroken notes, Kyouka would play but a few before the two switched, Kyouka playing a string and Izuku a few.

This continued into the third minute as the two slowly tapered off, lowering the volume of their playing until it was akin to a whisper.

Then, the two began to rise, the tone of Izuku's cello remaining heavy as Kyouka's piano rose, falling briefly to meet the cello before rising once more.

Once they'd reached the fourth minute, their playing became frantic, brief cello notes creating a sense of urgency and fear while the piano maintained its juxtaposition, acting almost as a waltz.

Izuku became more frantic, his brief notes ringing out as a desperate, distraught cry for help.

Once they neared the fifth minute, they stopped, allowing that sense of unease to fill the chamber once more, the aforementioned unease acting as the crescendo to the previously desperate playing.

Four seconds later they began once more, the frantic edge dulled to the now quiet whisper.

The aforementioned whisper began to quickly pick up pace before finally falling at the fifth minute.

Their playing lowered back to a whisper before finally falling silent, denoting the end of the piece.

"That was fucking beautiful."

The sudden voice nearly caused the duo to jump from their skin as their eyes searched for the speaker.

What, or rather who, they saw nearly killed them in embarrassment.

Before them stood the entire study group alongside the owners of the instruments they'd been playing.

Momo's parents.

The two adults wore looks of amusement as they watched the musicians squirm under their gaze.

The vice president's mother was the first to address the two, adjusting her glasses as she did so.

"You two are quite the talented duo."

As amused as she was, the woman's tone still held a weight to it which unnerved the duo to their core.

"S-Sorry for touching your instruments without permission, we should have asked first."

The Sorcerer dropped into a bow from his seat, a motion which Kyouka mimicked.

"Y-Yeah, we're very sorry Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu!"

The two adults shared a look before smiling and returning their attention to the musicians before them.

Mrs. Yaoyorozu slightly bent over before raising their faces via their chins, forcing their eyes to meet her own storm grey ones.

"You two don't need to apologize, this house could always use more music."

Her motherly tone washed away their apprehension, instead instilling in them a sense of pride and mirth as light pink dusted their cheeks.

From his spot behind his wife, Mr. Yaoyorozu flashed the two a smile alongside a small thumbs up.

"Ume is right, besides, those things rarely get attention anymore."

The man's eyes briefly flashed over toward his daughter causing the teen to blush in embarrassment.

Momo's mom giggled lightly before returning her attention to the musicians before her.

"You know, it'd be nice to do our work to some live music. How about you two play for a bit during the summer, you'll receive compensation of course."

The duo shared a look of dejection before shaking their heads.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Yaoyorozu but this summer we have a training camp. Unfortunately, we have to refuse."

Something not dissimilar to a pout flashed on Ume's face as she stood, the brief expression being hastily replaced with an understanding smile.

"That's quite unfortunate. It's my understanding Momo has allowed you all an hour-long break?"

The duo nodded.

"Yes ma'am."

Ume's smile seemed to grow at the response.

"Then how about you enthrall us with another piece?"

The two excitedly nodded, before discussing possible choices.

The two eventually settled on Johannes Brahms' Cello Sonata No. 1's first movement Allegro non troppo in E minor and began playing.

As the two began playing, Ochako's eyes remained locked on the duo, her expression marred with a mix of jealousy, vexation, and dejection.

"They both play instruments, like music and even like the same bands. Meanwhile, me n him don't have anythin in common. What if…"

The brunette feverently shook the thought from her mind as her brow furrowed.

"Nuh-uh. He belongs with me and that's that."

"Right now you'll be taking the practical portion of your Final Exams."

Shota's eyes scanned his students, internally smiling at the fierce looks of determination radiating from every one of them.

The group stood clad in their Hero costumes, a variety of Pro Heroes before them as they listened intently to their homeroom teacher.

"Now initially, we were going to have you fight robots."

"Told you, Kero."

"But due to the recent surge in villain attacks, we at UA have decided to ramp up our training in hopes of shaping you all into better Heroes than even All Might."

A smug look from Izuku wiped away the one firmly stamped on Tsuyu's as the girl rolled her eyes and returned focus to her teacher.

"To do so, however, we had to ask ourselves what would the ideal student under this hypothetical regiment look like. After doing so we came up with one answer pertaining to three students. I'm pretty sure you know who they all are."

1-A turned their attention to the three students at the front of the class, the aforementioned three feeling a sense of pride swelling in their chests.

"Todoroki, Bakugou, and Midoriya."

Shota nodded toward the pink-skinned girl before returning his attention to the rest of the class.

"Correct. The reason these three come to mind is because they each hold a trait we view as essential to becoming Heroes surpassing all those before you, albeit to a higher degree than most present."

The scraggly man pointed a finger toward Shoto.

"One, a good quirk. While this doesn't mean you need one as powerful as Todoroki's or Bakugou's, it does mean you need a quirk at least somewhat applicable to Hero work."

He then pointed a finger toward Katsuki.

"Physical prowess. To be a Hero, no matter what field you specialize in, means being in a physical state higher than the average citizen."

Finally, he pointed toward Izuku.

"Last, but most importantly, any good Hero needs variety and adaptation. From offense to evacuation and everything in between Midoriya has a solution to every problem and if he doesn't, he manages to make something happen. If you wish to be one of the very best, these two are skills you need to have."

The determination of 1-A amplified tenfold as they internalized every word their homeroom teacher spoke, fierce gazes locked on the lethargic man.

From the underground Hero's shoulder, the principal of UA spoke, his tone as chipper as ever.

"To do this we at UA have asked ourselves what could we do to bring out these traits in our students and one thing in particular came to mind."

The chimera pointed a paw toward the Jujutsushi before him.

"While we can't train you to change your quirk genes, we CAN train your bodies and minds and as such we've enlisted the help of the very man who has molded Midoriya into the fine man he is today."

Izuku's eyes widened as his eyes focused on the animal standing happily on his teacher's shoulder.

A loud clap filled the air causing the Grade One Sorcerer's breath to stall in his throat.

He knew what that meant.

Almost instantly, the flower beside Shota vanished, and in its place stood someone his classmates only knew vaguely.

But Izuku knew all too well.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like you to meet your new teacher, who shall be assisting in all things conditioning, the man, Aoi Midoriya."

The physically domineering man stood before the class, his usual grin etched firmly onto his features as his coal eyes scanned the students.

"It's nice to meet you all! Let me know if my little brother causes any trouble and I'll be sure to handle him."

The comment instilled a sense of dread into the aforementioned Sorcerer while his classmates laughed.

They were already warming up to him.

Clearing his throat, Nezu regained the attention of 1-A before continuing his explanation.

"It was after hiring Mioriya, the older one obviously, that he gave us the idea of having a pair of students fight a teacher so as to expose their weaknesses while also forcing them to adapt to an opponent stronger than them."

The chimera then pointed a paw toward Aoi.

"We expanded on that rough idea by creating win conditions around escaping the scene or cuffing the teacher but Midoriya here opposed the idea."

1-A then turned their attention back to the older Midoriya, with looks of confusion present in their features.

"The older Midoriya argued that to better prepare you all to be Heroe, you need to fight in a situation in which escape isn't an option. After some tinkering with the final, we decided that to win you need to either cuff your opponent or evacuate a number of civilians spread throughout the city."

The chimera then patted his ride on the head, silently instructing him to speak.

"The pairs and their opposing teacher have already been decided, after receiving your pair, please follow your teacher to your assigned training ground. Once you arrive, you and your partner will be placed on the scene and given a four-minute head start. Once the bell rings your teacher will begin hunting you."

Once the explanation had finished, the pure determination raging in their eyes now held cracks of anxiousness as the difficulty of their exercise set in.

"YOU TWO WILL BE FIGHTING ME!"

The two teens locked anxious eyes with their teacher and opponent for the practical exam.

All Might.

The hulking man's massive smile served to amplify that anxiousness as he guided them toward their testing ground.

They'd be evacuating neighborhood residents in the midst of a massive fire while trying their best to fight off the number one Hero.

After dropping them off at a random location, All Might jumped toward the entrance which signaled the start of their practical.

Izuku leaped into action instantly, summoning Orochi to swallow the three residents immediately around him and escort them toward the opposite exit.

Katsuki, however, remained still.

After evacuating his fourth civilian via Nue, Izuku turned toward his partner, an irate look on his face.

"We need to evacuate as many people as possible before our head start is up."

The blonde offered a scoff in response before cracking his knuckles.

"I don't need to do shit but cuff All Might and pass. If you wanna rescue those shitty civilians then go right ahead Deku."

Furrowing his brow in anger, Izuku shook his head before retrieving his phone and pointing to it.

"You can't beat All Might by yourself. He'd beat you down quicker than you could blink before turning his attention to me and the civilians. We need to use our time to rescue as many residents as possible"

By illustrating the gap of strength between All Might and Katsuki, the Jujutsushi only seemed to anger his partner, evident from the growl that escaped the boy's lips.

"Don't let the Sports Festival confuse you, Deku! You have no idea what I'm capable of."

The aforementioned Sorcerer slipped his phone back into his pocket.

"I'm perfectly aware of your strength, Katsuki, and that's exactly why I'm telling you that you can't beat the number-one Hero alone."

As soon as the sentence left his lips, Izuku was knocked backward by a hard shove from his partner.

The aforementioned blonde stood menacingly over his classmate, fury raging behind his ruby-red eyes.

"Shut up, Deku, unless you want me to beat you before All Might has the chance."

The threat loomed in the air as wrathful red met Sky-Blue, neither willing to concede to the other.

With one smooth motion, the Jujutsushi kicked up to his feet before laying a stern look upon his partner.

"We have less than three minutes left and only four civilians rescued. We need to save as many people as we can to get as close to the twenty we need as possible."

No verbal retort came from his partner.

Instead, a right hook came barreling toward Izuku's left temple, threatening to knock the boy unconscious.

The Sorcerer ducked down, allowing the attack to fly harmlessly.

Kissing his teeth Izuku fell into his practiced stance.

"How about this, first one to land a hit has their plan followed. Agreed?"

Katsuki cracked his neck before allowing a grin to kiss his face.

"Sounds like a deal."

With a clasp of his hand, a shroud of Cursed Energy enveloped the Sorcerer before dying down.

Simple Domain was enacted.

Immediately after, Izuku's upper body leaned back narrowly avoiding the right straight heading toward his face.

Using the momentum of the lean, the Sorcerer fell into a back handspring, shooting out a kick as he did so.

The blonde jumped back, the toe of Izuku's boot catching a stray hair atop his head.

The two remained still as the single strand fell to the ground, ruby-red eyes locked with sky-blue ones.

The moment the strand fell, however, the two burst into action.

Izuku jumped into the air, rotating his body 180 degrees and throwing a brutal left back kick that threatened to break the blonde's ribs.

Katsuki stepped to the right, avoiding the attack and using the momentum of the step to throw a left leg round at his opponent's head.

The Sorcerer raised his arms, blocking the kick before attempting to use his left leg to sweep the blonde's supporting leg from under him.

Thinking on the fly, Katsuki jumped with the aforementioned leg before twisting his hips mid-air and whipping his right leg toward Izuku's head, landing on his left leg.

The Sorcerer reflexively ducked the attack, using the new level change to slam his body mass into the blonde's hips and secure a takedown.

From his position atop the boy, Izuku raised an elbow before slamming it down atop the boy's skull, reigning back last moment so as to result in a light tap.

Securing his victory.

Rising to his feet, the Jujutsushi offered his beaten opponent a hand, internally reveling in the shocked expression the blonde wore.

"However you saw me back in junior high is invalidated. Here, at UA, we are equals, whether you like that or not."

A look of conflict marred the boy's face as he stared at the outstretched hand before him.

Before long, he took it, punctuating the action with a kiss of his teeth.

"Whatever Izuku."

"That's nine!"

The Sorcerer nodded before flashing the seal for Nue, picking up their tenth civilian and sending them off toward the exit.

Until a strong punch from their adversary sent the bird and the resident she was carrying to the ground.

Fear and apprehension set into the bones of the two students present as their adversary stared them down, his seemingly perpetual smile still etched into his face.

Dispelling Nue, Izuku shot a Six Eye toward his partner, the aforementioned blonde returning his gaze.

With a nod from the Sorcerer, the two leaped into action.

Izuku went high, jumping into the air and rotating 360 degrees to gain momentum.

Katsuki, meanwhile, went low, throwing a right leg sweep kick that threatened to take the man's legs from out under him.

"3rd Stance: Hwechook!"

"DIE!"

The Sorcerer split into three visages, each throwing a different kick at the number one Hero.

Meanwhile, the blonde's attack grew ever closer, the powerful kick ready to strip the Hero of his balance.

All while retaining his grin, the Hero jumped, narrowly avoiding the blonde's kick.

Looking atop, the man hastily yanked the middle visage by its leg, stopping the attack dead before throwing the student away.

Turning his attention back to Katsuki, the older blonde raised a mighty fist before slamming it into the younger one, burying him in the asphalt.

"IF THIS IS ALL YOU "HEROES" HAVE TO OFFER THEN EVERYONE HERE CAN CONSIDER THEMSELVES DEAD!"

Raising his leg, the Hero hovered it over the blonde's skull, threatening to pop the boy's head like a grape.

Kissing his teeth, Izuku brought his hands together to form a puppet none had seen before.

"Rabbit Escape."

As soon as the empowered words were spoken, a swarm of rabbits enveloped All Might, obscuring his vision and forcing his attention away from the duo.

Using the new distraction, the Jujutsushi scooped his injured classmate into his arms before retreating.

"We need a plan."

The blonde brought his hands to his cheeks before widening his mouth, mimicking an overly shocked expression.

"Really? Who fucking knew!"

Palming his face, Izuku crouched down, adopting a look of confusion.

Before long his expression relaxed as he stood to his feet and held out his palm.

"Do you trust me, Katsuki?"

The blonde shook his head.

"Absolutely not."

Ignoring the comment from his partner, the Jujutsushi focused his attention inward, drawing on the unfamiliar sensation tingling in his brain.

Before long, the sweat glands on his palm tingled indicating he'd managed to activate the technique.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Opening his Six Eyes, Izuku locked eyes with his partner, a mix of anger and confusion behind them.

"It's one of my Cursed Techniques. It manifested after we fought after school and it lets me copy Quirks."

The blonde growled in response.

"And why the hell did you have to copy mine?!"

The Sorcerer only shrugged.

"It wasn't on purpose."

Another growl.

"Just…tell me what the plan is."

Izuku nodded before shedding his jacket, leaving him in just his compression shirt.

"It's simple, I cast Rabbit Escape and use your Quirk. This way, he doesn't know who to focus on which allows my Shikigami more time to evacuate."

The blonde grunted.

"And from there?"

Izuku smiled.

"I dunno."

"COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!"

The hulking Hero stomped throughout the testing grounds, his massive smile beaming condescendingly at whomever he passed.

The number one Hero eventually passed the alleyway the two were hiding in, electric blue eyes briefly meeting sky-blue ones.

"Rabbit Escape."

The animals were on him faster than he could react to, obscuring his vision and leaving only vague shadows of the two students.

"Who's who?! Wait, I need to keep a level head! When young Bakugou uses his quirk I'll be able to figure out who's who!"

The elder man grinned even wider as his eyes and ears focused on the two, the Hero eagerly awaiting the use of the quirk Explosion.

He didn't have to wait long.

An explosive left hook flew toward the man's skull which he narrowly parried with his right arm before slamming an overhand atop the boy's head.

The visage pulled used his explosions to throw himself back, avoiding the strike.

"THAT'S Bakugou!"

"WRONG!"

The voice of someone distinctly not Katsuki flooded the man's ears.

Before being followed by a deafening explosion.

The visage he hadn't engaged with launched a massive explosion that slammed into the man's stomach, upsetting an injury he'd rather not have hit.

Turning toward his left, the man rushed who he now knew was Katsuki, a strong right straight following.

The plan would've been sound, had the number one Hero not forgotten something important.

Izuku literally hit him with an explosion moments earlier.

"OVER HERE!"

From his left, another massive explosion rocked his stomach, causing the hulking man to double over.

Using the opening, Izuku grabbed his partner's collar before throwing him backward, three words following suit.

"Rescue the civilians."

As soon as he did so, a massive fist made itself known to the Sorcerer's chest, causing blood to fly from his mouth.

Jumping back, Izuku narrowly avoided the follow-up left hook that threatened to decapitate him.

All Might clearly wasn't in the best mood.

Rearing his right hand back, Izuku used his left to redirect the jab heading for his nose, before slamming the right into his opponent's sternum, flooding it with Cursed Energy.

Instantly, arcs of black and red danced throughout Rabbit Escape, causing the man to reel back in pain, blood flowing from his mouth.

"Black Flash!"

Izuku followed his attack with a leap into the air before rotating 360 degrees.

Unable to see the three visages due to Rabbit Escape, All Might was hit with the full force of a Cursed Energy amplified 3rd Stance: Hwechook, sparks emulating from each kick.

"Black. Flash!"

The attack threatened to knock the man out then and there as he took a wild swing, half in an attempt to hit the boy and half in an attempt to dispel the Shikigami.

Neither was successful.

Continuing his offensive, Izuku level changed, avoiding another wild swing from his opponent.

Hopping lightly, the Sorcerer brought his feet to his chest before sticking them out, drop-kicking the number one Hero, red and black sparks striking the man in tandem.

"Black Flash!"

Growing increasingly irritated by his student, All Might reared his fist back

"TEXASSSSS SMASH!"

The attack immediately dispelled a majority of Rabit Escape, Izuku dispelling the remainder so as to avoid the core one being destroyed and leaving him open to sight.

No words were spoken as Izuku quickly clasped his hands together, casting Simple Domain.

He wasn't fast enough, however.

As soon as he began speaking the empowered words, a massive fist buried itself in the boy's chest, sending him flying.

Using the momentum to roll to his feet, the Jujutsushi used Contruction, creating a flash grenade that blinded the rapidly approaching man.

Time seemed to slow as Izuku poured over what he should do next, his mind creating scenarios containing each of his Cursed Techniques.

All but one.

As soon as the realization crossed his mind, a tall figure appeared beside the Grade One Sorcerer, snow-white hair flowing in the breeze.

Satoru Gojo had graced the boy with his presence.

The man remained silent as he walked behind the shorter boy, placing his ghostly right arm over Izuku's own and speaking.

"You've learned how to attract, now repel."

The Grade One Sorcerer knew immediately what his predecessor spoke of as a sense of calm washed over his body.

Raising his right arm in tandem with Satoru's, Izuku multiplied his Cursed Energy against itself, completely ignoring the familiar scalding burn that plagues his brain whenever he used the technique.

As he did so, a small red orb began to materialize.

Satoru guided his hand, raising it up before flicking the orb out.

"Curse Technique Reversal: Red."

The effect was immediate as the red orb slammed into the Hero, sending him outside the testing grounds and then some.

The building pain and exhaustion then slammed into Izuku, causing the boy to fall to his knees and then face,

His last memories consisting of them passing the exercise via Katsuki's evacuation efforts.

And the arrogant smile of one Satoru Gojo.

Naruto30: Is this filler cause it seems like a filler. We need more gojo mindscape appearances. Will Izuku learn about hollow purple, domain expansion etc soon cause arguably those are the strongest attacks in his arsenal.

Excellent chapter. Waiting for your next update

Ant: Everything I write has a purpose. Chapter 13 was meant to better convey that Kyouka and Izuku are close and Ochako doesn't like that.

It begins the seeds of jealousy being sown within the girl while emphasizing that two people with similar interests will almost always be drawn together
