Momo's Path To Motherhood

I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here a new syory arc commences as Midoriya and Yaoyorozu are about to cope with the fact that they would become first-time parents…as they are about to cope with the coming months…and what possible consequences they might face following the events from the previous chapters and how the two teens would respond…

Ch. 11: Saisho no sū-kagetsu

At the teachers' lounge, Aizawa was checking the papers as he is slightly concerned about the recent events, and Present Mic can tell why as he too is also concerned, as last month Nezu summoned the Midoriya and Yaoyorozu parents and, along with Izuku and Momo, they were told of the situation where Momo was six weeks pregnant and that Izuku is the father, which shocked the two teens.

Although he was told that it was Goldie Musou who is indirectly responsible as she used the Kerasine drug on the two teens and forced them to have sexual intercourse, Izuku took it hard and blamed himself for Momo's current predicament even though his mom Inko and Momo's parents insisted to the young boy that he is not at fault, and in the end Nezu told the two teens that while they can continue their studies at UA Academy, Momo would have to refrain from physical activities starting in her fourth month of pregnancy.

While on a coffee break, Present Mic asked Aizawa how are the two teens, which the latter said that both were trying to mentally cope with their situation as Midoriya is still worrying about the next several months, and Aizawa said that at one point he even caught a glimpse of Midoriya looking at the job offer flyers and HELP WANTED ads on the newspapers, showing that Midoriya is taking the matter seriously.

"Huh? Midoriya is…?"

"Yeah. He is taking it too personally…"

"I guess he really took it hard…"

"Cant be helped. He knew what's at stake here…"

"Still Midoriya needs to chill a bit and…"

"That's what I've been trying to tell him, but…"

"Maybe he needs more counseling…"

"*sighing*"

Aizawa said that he couldn't blame Midoriya as he is the kind of boy who is willing to take responsibility, and he took it well even though he was not at fault because of what Musou made him do, and there Aizawa and Present Mic agreed that Midoriya and Yaoyorozu would be summoned to Hound Dog's presence and periodically give them counseling and advise so as to keep them emotionally and mentally grounded in order for them not to get snapped from the stress they are experiencing.

"We should send them to Inui for additional counseling, Aizawa."

"That's what I'm thinking…"

"At least those two kids would be willing to listen to him."

"I hope so. They still have less than 7 ½ months before Yaoyorozu gives birth…"

"Yeah…"

"Yaoyorozu might not have problems as her parents are there to support her emotionally…but Midoriya…"

"Point taken, Aizawa."

"…"

Midnight overheard the discussion and she too is concerned, and there she interjected and said that the next few months would be crucial, which Present Mic said that Aizawa and Nezu told Yaoyorozu that from the fourth month up to the ninth month of pregnancy she would not be participating in physical activities and physical exams, but Midnight said that aside from that, the fourth month of pregnancy would be the time when Yaoyorozu's stomach would be VISIBLE, which Present Mic stared wide-eyed upon realizing what his fellow teacher meant.

"Uh…are you…"

"Yes."

"As in…?"

"BABY BUMP."

"Oh dear. Then that means…"

"Yaoyorozu would have to wear maternity-style attire…"

"And that would also mean that she would be forced to reveal her pregnancy to the other students…"

"That's the point…"

Thirteen and Snipe overheard it and glanced at each other as they got the gist and realized what Midnight is trying to point out, and there they decided to consult to Nezu about this as this would surely affect Yaoyorozu in such a way that it might put risk on her baby's state and that Midoriya would need additional counseling from Hound Dog.

"Think we should bring this up to the principal…"

"Yeah. This is definitely a cause for concern since it affects the mother and child…"

"And Midoriya. He might snap should he…"

"And that's where Hound Dog comes in."

"Yeah, he might be able to calm Midoriya down…"

"I concur."

"Then we should see the principal later…"

"Right."

Cementoss and Ectoplasm glanced at each other and agreed, seeing that from this month to onwards, it would be a crucial moment for Midoriya and Yaoyorozu as they are still grasping the fact that the latter is currently pregnant and is constantly worried about how to raise her and Midoriya's child given their current age and that they are forced to take responsibility even though Musou is responsible for causing Midoriya and Yaoyorozu to face a crisis.

"This is such a situation for those two."

"I agree. Musou had just ruined the normal lives of two young teenagers."

"Yaoyorozu is at a vulnerable state as she would have to spend the next seven months being on the sidelines."

"Midoriya is another situation. He's forced to take responsibility even though it wasn't intentional."

"And yet Midoriya took it personally and is now willing to face what has happened to him."

"Which is why he'll be needing all the emotional support he could get."

"Which is where Hound Dog comes in."

"Right."

Aizawa heard the comments from his fellow teachers and he can relate to it, and there he internally showed concern as he has a feeling that Midoriya might one day snap of the pressure gets to him, yet Present Mic assured to him that Midoriya will be okay, as his classmates would give him a lot of emotional support.

"…and that's that, Aizawa…"

"Fine…"

"Good. We'll let Class 1-A deal with Midoriya and Yaoyorozu. I'm sure that they can help them."

"Fine."

"For now we should do our part…and let things take its course."

"Fine."

"You okay with this, Aizawa…?"

"Fine."

The next month…

At Heights Alliance, it was dinner time and Class 1-A is in the midst of having supper and there the classmates are chatting like usual, and there Ashido, Jiro and Uraraka are chatting with Yaoyorozu, and while the latter appeared to be in her usual self, deep inside she is worried as right now she is in her 12th week of pregnancy and she would have to wait for seven more months before giving birth.

The past few weeks were business as usual as all Class 1-A did was written activities and lectures, and while there were physical activities which was part of the curriculum of the Hero course, Yaoyorozu was initially allowed to join but it was limited due to her pregnancy, and that somewhat helped her calm down to a degree, yet she is still worried about what would come after.

She wondered about what would life be once her baby comes, and how would she be able to care for her upcoming child as she hasn't experienced anything like this, and there she wondered if she should consult a pro hero would has experience in raising a child, and there Jiro, Uraraka and Asui noticed Yaoyorozu's staring in space and they asked her if there is something wrong

"Yao-Momo…"

"You okay…?"

"Kero…something bothering you?"

"Well…it's like this…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…and that's what's on my mind…"

The three girls glanced at each other, seeing that Yaoyorozu is wondering about what to do once she gives birth, and the trio thought carefully, as the pro heroes they interned in the recent work studies were mostly single, but Ashido then came up with the idea of asking Endeavor, since he is Shoto's dad, which Uraraka and Asui sensed that this might be a good idea.

However, Bakugo came and interjected, where he told the girls about his initial meeting with the Todoroki family, and there Ashido and Uraraka sighed upon hearing this, as they thought that asking Endeavor for advice might help Yaoyorozu prepare for her upcoming parenthood, though Bakugo suggested that they ask Todoroki as he knows someone who could relate to Yaoyorozu's situation.

"Huh?"

"Really?"

"Kero…for real, Bakugo-chan…?"

"Yeah."

"Hmm…"

"Todoroki…"

"Can he really…?"

"Why not ask him…"

At this point Todoroki came and overheard the discussion, and sighing, he said that he would ask his elder sister, Fuyumi, for suggestions and advice for Yaoyorozu, which the girls glanced at each other before glancing at Todoroki, and there he told his female classmates that during his mom's stay at the hospital Fuyumi was acting as the MOTHER at the Todoroki residence, and there he felt that having Fuyumi meeting Yaoyorozu might help

Yaoyorozu appeared to be hesitant as she finds it a bit too much but Todoroki assured to her that it is okay as it would help give Yaoyorozu a peace of mind and seeking advice is a good step in preparing herself once she reaches her 9th month of pregnancy, which Ashido, Uraraka and Asui nodded and encouraged Yaoyorozu about it

"You hear that, Yao-Momo?"

"This is a good chance!"

"Kero…that's right."

"I…"

"Don't worry about it, Yao-Momo!"

"It'll be fine!"

"Kero…"

"…"

Meanwhile, Kaminari and Mineta noticed that Midoriya is glancing at his smartphone and is staring intently and upon taking a peek, they saw that Midoriya is browsing on Google, where various HELP WANTED ads are being advertised, and how much the pay is being offered, and both Kaminari and Mineta glanced at each other as they realized that Midoriya is taking the matter seriously since he knows that Yaoyorozu is giving birth in seven months and that he has to support Yaoyorozu and their upcoming child financially.

"He's really serious…"

"Midoriya is beating himself up like this…"

"You can't blame him…he knows that in seven months he's going to become a daddy…"

"Still he needs to take it easy…"

"Yeah…it's not like it's the end of the world for him…"

"Think we should tell him to relax…?"

"Not sure…"

"Me too…"

Ojiro saw this as well and approached Midoriya, urging him to take it easy as he said that he and Yaoyorozu has time and that they would eventually figure out what to do once their child is born, and there he reminded Midoriya that his parents would be there to support him, which Mineta unintentionally pointed out that he and Kaminari haven't seen Midoriya's dad when they went to the Midoriya home one time, and only met Inko.

Ojiro glanced at Mineta and asked if he is sure, which the latter confirmed, and there Midoriya reluctantly revealed that Inko raised him most of his childhood life and that up until now his dad, Hisashi Midoriya, hasn't come and visited him and Inko, surprising Ojiro, Kaminari and Mineta upon hearing this.

"Huh?"

"What?"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah. Dad hasn't come home until now…"

"No way…"

"Why?"

"How come…?"

"Its like this…"

Mineta became a bit irritated at hearing this and wondered what Hisashi is doing all this time, as he is sure that Inko probably hold her husband about their son's current situation, but Midoriya sullenly said that he hasn't received a call or text from his dad up until now, and there Tokoyami, Shoji, and Iida overheard it and we're baffled as to why Hisashi hasn't giving any effort to check on his family.

"Your dad hasn't contacted you after all these years?"

"As in over a decade…?"

"Seriously, Midoriya…?"

"Yeah…"

"No way…"

"What kind of father is he…?"

"Tokoyami…Shoji…ease up…"

"…"

Bakugo overheard it as well, and this made him wonder if there is something going on with the Midoriya family as he got to see Inko a few times during the PTA at UA Academy in recent months yet he hasn't seen Hisashi, and there Kirishima asked Bakugo if there is something going on, which Bakugo confides to him that he hasn't seen Hisashi for quite a long time, and Kirishima blinked his eyes and asked if Midoriya's parents have separated, which Bakugo said that he is not sure.

Aoyama then suggested that maybe Hisashi has found a girlfriend overseas and that he is probably cheating. Aoyama then said that he is just kidding but Bakugo covered Aoyama's mouth and discreetly berated him for making such comments, reminding him not to make jokes like that or Midoriya might snap at him, which Kirishima agreed as he said that now and in the next few months are crucial and said that Hisashi not checking on his son is enough to stress Midoriya.

"Damn you, Aoyama…I already told you not to make comments like that…!"

"Uh…"

"Deku's has been having a rough month…and if you want to stay in one piece…you better make sure Deku doesn't hear you make comments like that when he's nearby…"

"Uh…"

"You saw how his Quirk works, right? If he hears you make comments like that he might vent his anger on you and you'll be on the receiving end…!"

"Eeep…"

"Got that?"

"O-okay…"

Unbeknownst to Bakugo and Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, Jiro, Asui and Uraraka somewhat overheard the conversation and are baffled by the fact that Hisashi has not visited the Midoriya family for a long time and that Inko has been raising her son all by herself and this made them wonder if something happened between Midoriya's parents, as they felt that now is a crucial time for Inko and Hisashi to give their son the emotional support he needs.

"Deku…"

"His dad has been…?"

"Kero…this is bad timing…"

"Midoriya…"

"I feel bad for Deku…"

"Me too…"

"Kero…"

"Midoriya…"

Likewise, Ashido and Hagakure were baffled as they haven't seen Midoriya's father, only his mother, and the two girls are worried after overhearing Aoyama jokingly implied that Midoriya's father is cheating on his wife, and there Ashido and Hagakure hoped that Aoyama is only joking, as they are worried that if that scenario turns out to be real it would be an emotional blow for Midoriya as now he needed his parents' emotional support more than ever, yet only Inko was the one helping her son.

"Mina-chan…do you think Aoyama is serious about Midoriya's dad…"

"Not too loud, Toru…"

"Eeep…"

"Lets hope it's just a joke…"

"But what if…?"

"It better not be true…or Midoriya's going to snap…"

"Eh…? You think…?"

"I rather that this scenario not becoming a reality…"
