As Hawks is about to lead the UA students out of the now-cordoned restaurant, the customers were grateful to the UA students for saving them and they complimented them for their HEROIC DEEDS, which somewhat gave Class 1-A some consolation.

The scene shifts at a research office where David Shield's former workers are assembled inside a conference room as they were summoned by a fellow worker, and they are baffled as to why they were summoned here, as they felt that there's nothing significant going on, since David is already jailed for his role in Wolfram's first rampage when All Might was still active, and that there's nothing much significant now that All Might has already retired as a pro hero.

The scientists and researchers are wondering what is going on here and why are they being summoned, which some are getting impatient but the others urged them to calm down and wait, as they believe that something good might come out of this, which somewhat ease the tension inside the conference room.

By then one of the research workers came and thanked the attendees for coming, and there the researchers went straight to the point and said that he summoned them here because he made a discovery, and when they asked what this discovery is, the research worker first brought up mentioning David Shield, which they told him that he's already insignificant and that he already disgraced himself.

But the research worker said that David is amongst the topics he is about to discuss, and there he said that David Shield is Quirkless, which his fellow scientists said that they are aware, and hence his daughter Melissa is also Quirkless, so there's nothing significant to note about and told the research worker that he just wasted their time coming here in such a very short notice.

"I can't believe that you called us here just to say such rubbish. If that's the reason why you called us, then you just wasted our time!"

One of the scientists noticed that Melissa was using kick attacks while her Quirk is activated, and there he brought out his smartphone and played a recorded footage of Midoriya using Full Cowling, and there he showed it to his fellow scientists and said that the Quirk that Melissa uses is similar to Midoriya's, which made the scientists getting baffled, as Melissa registered herself as Quirkless, yet she displayed one and this recorded footage was taken recently.

"This can't be!"

"Do they share the same Quirk?"

"This has to be a coincidence!"

"How is this possible?"

"There has to be an explanation here!"

The scientists huddled and there they came up with the idea of covertly interrogating David Shield as they believe that he did something that deceived them and suspected that Melissa has a Quirk after all, unaware of the fact that Melissa gained half of Midoriya's One For All Quirk, and they began offering ideas on how to sneak David out of jail and interrogate him privately so as not to arouse suspicion.
