Author's Notes: I know it's been a really long time since I have written anything and I know I updated my profile but posted nothing. Life just got in the way and I can't promise that I will stay on this story constantly but I will try. Last thing, if you need information on certain words or phrases please check my profile as it's most likely there and if I don't mention someone's outfit when they're first introduced they are either in their Cannon outfit or in civilian clothing, depending on the situation.

Prologue
As the moon starts to fall so the sun may soon rise, the Sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was in his office, finishing up a report. Now the report itself was for this night and about Hiruzen's favorite blonde, Naruto Uzumaki. With the report finished, Hiruzen leaned back with a sigh, picking up his pipe to take a puff when a knock from his door echoed into the room. Setting down the pipe, Hiruzen released a silent sigh then said, " Come in."
After the door opens, Kurenai Yuhi, a 27 year old woman with fair skin, red eyes, shoulder length black hair and wearing her usual Shinobi outfit. " Kurenai," Hiruzen said, then after a puff from his pipe added, " What can I do for you at this fine hour?"
" Hokage-sama, I was hoping to speak to you about my team assignment," replied Kurenai.
With a nod Hiruzen took another puff then said, " Ok, but please make it quick."
After closing the distance from the door to his desk, Kurenai set down a file and said, " I want Kiba Inuzuka to swap with Naruto Uzumaki."
Even though intrigued, Hiruzen showed no emotion as he took another puff, then once his pipe was back on his desk he said, " With what the dynamic of team 7 is meant to be, which Kiba Inuzuka wouldn't really change it, but Naruto would change team 8's. So Why?"
" Hokage-sama, Naruto is considered the dead last and loser of his class, which in turn made him need to compete with number 1, which in this case is Sasuke Uchiha," replied Kurenai and once the old Kage gestured her to continue she did, saying, "And with his other teammate being someone who will put him down, it won't help Naruto. And I'd look over the whole class, Shino and Hinata are 2 of 4 people who won't put him down. And his loud personality would help Hinata and Shino. Also…"
" Short version. Please?" asked Hiruzen, interrupting the Kunoichi.
" Naruto has skills that would work great with stealth. Also his personality would help with Shino's and Hinsta's personality. Also those two won't put down Naruto which would help him with working with the others," answer Kurenai."
