This is my first time writing something and my first rough draft. Expect slight or major revisions down the road. Have a nice day.

Prologue:

A primordial melody echoed across the never-ending canvas of obsidian. Streaks of cerulean, burgundy, indigo, and teal shifted gently, resembling curtains blown by the breeze. A backdrop of cosmic lights pierced through the storm of colors.

Eyes filled the world with their glyph-like bodies, lost in the bliss of their continuous dance. They remained in their dimension, unseen by those outside the veil, and were constantly celebrating in honor of Arceus.

Whoosh—

Pop!

Ripples formed across the dimensional curtain as a wisp of light pierced through the barrier as if to interrupt the party. Possibly the largest party to be conceived had halted to an eerie silence as eyes converged on a singular point.

"…"

"…"

"…"

A sphere of light struck a chord of recollecting memories. However, the more they speculated, the more confused they became; it was something out of this world and not even tainted by the grasp of their creator's influence.

? was the closest Unown to the object of unknown origin. Encroaching upon the wisp and poked it with caution. The orb drifted away in turn. A droopy eye looked back towards the rest of its kin in confusion.

***

An opera of lights was on full display as an array of distant stars shimmered across the night sky. The moon rose to the occasion to leave an everlasting impression with its pristine appearance.

Strokes of dazzling pink, teal, and lavender emerged from the horizon, forming a wall of Aurora that bathed the area in a soft glow. The luster of the watery surface below exhibits a polished copy of the scene.

The circular platform reflected a pair of deep crimson eyes, each encompassed by a rich emerald border. A majestic white camelid with a long flowy mane that jutted from the head. Along the abdomen was a ring of gold adorned with four spokes attached to two golden crescents fashioned in emeralds.

"Ma'am!"

Arceus lifted her head in response to the commotion and through the corner of her eye, spotted a group of Unown spelling out words in distress. Rushing out of the rift they created along the wall, revealing the dimension they originated from.

"What the? Arceus bit back a chuckle and shook her head. "You lot don't have to spell out the word to communicate." Marching ever so closer toward the panicking group, and something piqued her interest. Glimpses of a dim ball of light shone behind the curtain of Unown. However, the intriguing part was that this ordinary wisp was… out of this world, for lack of a better word.

"Ma'am! Look what we found," the Unown chanted. "I see," Arceus replied, marching ever closer to the abnormality as the Unown scattered from the light.

The cohort of glyphs held their full attention to the investigation. Their interest ignited in anticipation, waiting for the imminent results. Especially when they spotted a pair of ruby eyes widened. Pupils of pitch black dilated and expanded. Usurping the red into a pair of entirely black eyes, each conjuring an amber ring. A primordial voice took over the once feminine voice.

Silence reigns supreme, looming over the venue until a sound broke loose. "He hehe he." Arceus chuckled. "How interesting… how interesting indeed." Arceus momentarily froze, turning toward the troupe of letters.

"Sorry for temporarily hijacking my doppelganger's body, I know how much you guys are fond of her."

"That's fine, sir." They bowed their respects unanimously.

"Fellas! You know the protocol."

"Yes, sir!"

The Unown replied, some even formed exaggerated salutes with their flexible appendages. Eagerly flew toward Arceus to create a makeshift asteroid belt alongside an arrangement of prismatic plates. Plates of all elements materialized into transparent arms of gold, each with a network of veins in the color of their specific plate.

"Umm, sir, what exactly is this? From our observation, it was clear it didn't belong here, nor did any alternate universes or timelines." A curious ? floated in front of Arceus.

"To clarify your question, this wisp you lot have delivered is a soul that is indeed foreign to our own. The truly fascinating part was witnessing the glimpses into the pool of memories that hide within. A mortal that resided in a world of my creators that I never knew existed."

The crowd momentarily froze. "Huh!?" Roaring in lowercase upon realization. Arceus continued, "The grips of death laid claim upon this soul, but it remained adrift. Lost in the currents of an endless voyage in search of a new abode. Always in a perpetual cycle of staying at the crossroads between worlds, never reaching its destination until now.

Snap—! Fingers snap, causing the scenery to shift into one of white. Imagery of a titanic tree so wide that, from a distance, the trunk almost filled their view. Shifting their gazes above reveal that the entire sky was encompassed by foliage.

"Imagine my realm symbolized by a mere bough of a grand tree so… vast, one of immense proportion. A network of branches, twigs, and leaves sprout forth from the limb akin to this universe, with alternate variants and timelines branching out. Our world is tiny in the grand scheme of things; you could even argue that our world as a collective can fade into obscurity. Merely a singular cluster of wood and leaves amongst the thick canopy."

"Wait, just to clarify what the other boughs embody…" The Unown continued with a look of disbelief. "Their own worlds. One of entirely different origins but deriving from the same place." Arceus slightly laughed at the thought of their jaws dropping if they had one to accommodate their bulged eyes.

"Bingo! Arceus replied, gazing toward the trunk, and continued to immerse oneself in the view. A peaceful ambiance swept through the space. Arceus looked up at the crown of the tree, humming in awe. "It's funny to realize that different versions of this world were used in media and literature for consumption by humans that transcend the whole Pokémon world." Arceus paused for a moment to laugh in disbelief.

"The more I think to myself, I start to wonder if I created humans because I truly wanted to. Or meticulously programmed with a yearning to forge them. A question that shall never be answered, but the glimpses into the multitude of worlds were truly an eye-opening experience."

Snap-! The scene plunged back to its former glory of a wall of Aurora that surrounds the area, and a heavenly view shone above.

"…Wow, tell us more," the Unown murmured in awe. "Nah," Arceus replied nonchalantly. "That will be a conversation for another time, it shall be your bedtime story." A hint of amusement and teasing arose.

"Wow! Such a deadbeat boss." They cried in protest.

? very in tune with its character asked, "Um, can't you just indulge us now by importing your memories into our minds?"

"Nope, those are spoilers."

"Awww c'mon!"

? looked towards its brethren and gave a subtle nod with mischievous intent. A plan was brewing.

"And don't even think about asking my daughter, Dialga."

"Uck…!" Never mind, their plans were thwarted and shattered to bits and pieces. "Awwwwww…" They rumbled.

Cries of anguish loomed over the venue. Their bodies looked hollow as if their souls were vacuumed and lifelessly suspended in orbit.

"He hehe he." Arceus relished the sight of the despairing circus of little munchkins. Tilting its head downward, shaking it left and right. All the while the shoulders shook as silent laughter erupted.

"Ah-hem!" Snapping out of hysteria. Arceus' throat cleared up, clapping two celestial hands to grab everyone's attention.

"Right now, it is of utmost importance to welcome our new guest and guide them to their new home. Chop chop gentlemen."

"Yes sir!" The Unown spun around with a newly found invigoration.

The wheel of arms unfolded with the sole purpose of acquisition. Bridging the gap in pursuit of the light, numerous hands surrounded the wisp and laid siege. The dim light pulsed with life akin to a heart fueled by blood.

Dun Dun—

Energy from each element courses through the colonies of veins, flooding the vessels until reaching their destination. The colors developed a vibrant flare with the ever-increasing potency of energy. A delightful array of constellations amongst a sea of gold luminescence.

"It's time to rise and shine."

Cr-Crackle—! Prismatic beams of light leaked past the faintest cracks in the mighty grip. Arceus infused more power, causing both the limbs and wisp to intensify to a magnitude that rivals the brightest quasars in the cosmic sky.

The world turned white.

***

"Uhhh…"

My head throbbed in pain, and a sense of grogginess usurped my body. Throughout my body, it felt like I was doused in an oddly warm sensation, one that drowned my body in an uncomfortable ick.

'Where am I?'

It was futile to discern my location, surrounded by the absence of light in its totality. Maybe one that transcended that concept of darkness itself.

"Hello, human."

'Huh!?'

A silvery voice of ethereal origin smoothly rose from the void, delicate to the ears upon contact. A tide of unexplainable energy washed all over, from head to toe. My scrambled mind cleared to a tranquil state, and my body eased in turn. I felt like I was in a trance of utter peace; absolute euphoria seized my body.

Threads of gold surrounded the vast expanse, appearing from nowhere. But I couldn't care less to question the absurdity of the scene.

It was just gorgeous.

Whoosh—

The luminous strips glossed past me, twirling into a vortex of golden rings. They weaved themselves together into a spotlight that lay against a black background. I embraced the comforting glow of the pristine pearl in full display. The newly erupted light revealed that my body was… transparent, almost like a ghost in a way. Rudely, a bolt of silver barged into my peripheral, zooming past me at a tremendous speed.

Whizz—

'Uck!'

That mysterious force from earlier tugged on my chest, launching me forward in hot pursuit of the streak. More spears of silver strayed past me, materializing a horizontal shower of gleaming lights. The scenery was reminiscent of a sci-fi scene, warping in lightspeed like the movies of my childhood.

Strips of luminescent light funneled toward the golden sun, distorting in the process. I could not tell if my eyes were deceiving me as the area seamlessly shifted into one of a planet of vivid green, blue, and white.

'Earth?'

However, the more I analyze, the more I realize this wasn't the Earth I knew. The landmasses and bodies of water were different.

Dun Dun—

I felt a tug on my heart as it beat in rhythm. Suddenly, my body was yanked further into space, passing a moon and eventually other planets. Merely becoming blurs and fading into obscurity as darkness took over the reins once more.

To be honest, I expected a little more pizzazz besides an empty void with the occasional debris scattered about. Maybe I expected to see similar imagery as those taken by NASA. Absolute works of art captured the universe in its infinite glory, unlike my current situation.

"Pshh… is that how lowly you think of me as a host."

The same voice from earlier appeared again, and the expression I gained from it was a slightly offended tone with a hint of amusement sprinkled in.

C-Click—! Abruptly, my vision commenced the process of evolving. A multitude of clicks echo in my head. Follow up with more changes revealing things I would've never seen.

My vision was consumed by the colorful maelstrom so beautiful that it was hard to describe. Experiencing those images firsthand, in reality, it felt… fucking amazing. Maybe this could be a faulty dream that would leave me in a bittersweet mood.

"I revoke my statement."

"Hehe, damn right… I had to tinker with your vision to notice those wavelengths. Welp, time to quicken your process for a new body."

"Huh? Wait, I'm dead!? You can't just throw that out at me so abruptly."

"Why not? It seems quite obvious to me that you're dead. Now follow me mortal, we must leave in haste!" The same but smaller version of the golden pearl appeared in front of me.

'Woah!'

Accelerating even faster as we travel across the void. Passing moons, planets, asteroid fields, bodies of luminescent gas, black holes, and stars of all kinds in the blink of an eye.

Once the galaxy appeared, it was a gorgeous painting of spiraling colors on the cosmic canvas on full display. More galaxies infringed on my peripheral vision. Thousands, millions, and hundreds of billions of galaxies faded away.

Words could not fathom the sight of the cluster of lights shining in a magnificent brilliance. Many clusters merge to form a supercluster the size of what I assume to be a few billion light years.

Ascending past the multitude of superclusters reveal a map of the universe. In contrast, massive pockets of black were trying to split the light apart. We continue to accelerate toward the horizon of the universe.

Pop—!

'What the…?'

The world was devoured in white, revealing rows of pedestals each upholding an orb, which emitted a soft glow. Turning toward the direction I popped from. A pedestal of similar fashion with Greco-Roman architecture wore an indigo cushion adorned in gold embroidery. My jaw dropped as I saw a stunning sphere with clusters of lights in its interior. Wait, does that mean an entire universe that I just witnessed?

'Is locked in here?'

"Yep."

The voice sounded different from usual, and before I could think further. Darkness contaminated the porcelain-like landscape. Comparable to ink bleeding on a sheet of paper. The surface of the sphere in front of me reflected two rings of amber on a silhouette of a wispy mixture of gold and silver lights.

I slowly turned my head, only to stare at this unknown deity with bated breath. A quadruped creature of immense scale at the forefront. Colossal hooves gently came into contact with the floor below, setting off a cascade of ripples. Silver rings glided across the surface until fading into obscurity.

Wait a minute. I recognize this creature, or rather, I mean… Pokémon.

"Beta Arceus?!"

"Ho ho ho… You even know one of my names. However, I prefer my true self to be known as my origin form."

My jaw dropped even further.

Origin Arceus roared with laughter that shook the area to its core. Next to one of the hooves was the same pearl of light suspended in the air.

It grotesquely expanded and bubbled outward. The yellowish surface pulled so taut, revealing a creature similar in design to the colossal being above. A long protrusion grew from the frame laced in intricate webs of white cracks.

Kssshhhk—!

The frame shattered like glass, exposing an iconic creature that any Pokémon fan would recognize. The shards transition to a multitude of tiny particles similar to fireflies. Filling the night sky with a whimsical ambiance to further enhance the beauty of the locale.

"I presume you know who I am?" Arceus spoke, swaying its long mane accompanied by a beautiful female voice that captivated the ears.

"Nope, but you look awfully like a shiny Larvesta."

"Uck!" Arceus turned its head with an offended face, bloodshot eyes wide open. Lifting one of its legs toward its chest to emphasize the degree of such atrocities I just said.

"Hohoho… Now that I think about it, you really do look like one, my dear doppelganger." Origin replied, tapping Arceus' head like a doting parent. Arceus smacked the hoof, in turn, causing the beast to chuckle an earthquake.

Origin shrank dramatically in size but was slightly bigger than Arceus. Wrapping its left leg around Arceus' shoulder while the right leg pointed toward the victim.

"Lemme introduce you to one of my doppelgangers, Larvesta, who found you with her little helpers. A mere fragment of myself." Origin continued, ignoring the annoyed glares of Arceus, who had a flushed face.

"Larvesta… Lavesta… hmm that's actually a good name for her." Origin looked at Arceus, who looked so done with life.

I never expected to see a God of all Pokémon to be embarrassed. Raising my hand for a question out of pure curiosity, "So is Arceus a female?" Tilting my head ever so slightly.

Arceus cut off Origin and replied. "Technically, no because we transcend the human distinction between sexes, merely just neutral. However, we do imitate humans out of boredom and switch on a dime." Arceus stomped her hoof against the black floor, causing a rift to open behind the two deities.

Two Unown flew from the portal, each parading a plaque with a picture of Arceus. One of the tablets said Best Mom Award, while the other said Best Father Award.

"As you can see, I'm the best pare-"

"Mid mom."

An entirely different voice interrupted the conversation. An overbearing silence replaced the atmosphere, sending chills down my spine. However, that instantly vanished when I saw Origin covering its mouth. Biting back a wheeze with all its godly might. Arceus slowly cranked her head toward the intruder in irritation.

My eyes shifted from the two gods toward the new guest. A massive gray draconic shackled in gold, from head to claw. Six lumbering legs with bulk and muscle across its body. A massive wingspan of darkness adorn in crimson lances along the edge. Lastly, those red demonic eyes seemed capable of piercing anything.

'Holy shit it's Giratina.'

"How dare you Gira-."

"Hi, mom!" Once more, Arceus was interrupted as two recognizable heads popped from underneath Giratina's wings. Both Palkia and Dialga appeared to be in a jolly mood. Oddly enough, the guardian of space was casually lifting dumbbells made up of black holes.

'What the...'

"Cmere!" Arceus pranced toward the two dragons, materializing a pair of arms to give the two a loving hug. Palkia and Dialga snuggle soundly in the depths of her arms. Giratina looked over in amusement and spoke. "See you're proving my point… mid mom." Emphasizing the mid with a smirk creeping upward. Eyes that shined with an "I told you so" expression.

Arceus briefly glared at such attempts of aggravation and lengthened her arms to include the six-legged giant. Giratina looked smug as fuck, seemly achieving its goal. Smacking its tail on the ground repeatedly like a dog.

Crunch Crunch

My eyes pivoted from the family reunion toward the sound of munching to my left.

'Huh!? When did it get here?'

I fell further into disbelief upon spotting the whispy figure munching on a... bucket of popcorn, wearing a pair of fucking 3d glasses. All while a poor Unown became a temporary cup holder. Origin Arceus noticed my gaze and offered the bucket to me.

"Want any?" It shook the bucket.

"No thank you, but thanks for the consideration."

"You're probably wondering what to call me. Am I right?" It rose a brow and continued. "You can keep calling me Origin unless you have a good nickname in the works."

Origin looked back toward the others. "Those four would be managing the universe that you're staying in. Giratina and Palkia are both sons. Meanwhile, Dialga is the precious daughter of Lavesta."

Huh, good to know. Shit I guess that line caught on, Arceus is definitely going to hate me for that bug comment.

"Uhh, Origin. I heard that I was going to get a new body from her, and is there a possibility of knowing my cause of death?"

Origin gazed back at me and shook its head with shut eyes. "I was able to peer through your memories, which included many interesting goodies." Origin paused. "In particular, your stash of Cynthia tabs."

Cr-Crackle!

I instantly paled in response as if a bolt of lightning struck down my spine, sending a channel of shivers that crackled down to my knees.

"Sadly, your history wasn't umm... deleted." Origin repeatedly rose and lowered its brow teasingly, with a mischievous grin painted all over.

My knees buckled up, falling against the ground. My back bent forward and continued to sag like a ragdoll simulation.

"Yikes! Don't tell me you're dead again." Waving a golden hand in front of me.

Snap—! The scenery changed into one of the heavens. The ground was a vast, seemingly endless expanse of fluffy clouds. A delightful sunset rose from the horizon to cast a soft glow. Pillars so large that they rose surpass the atmosphere with no end in sight. The marble superstructures were organized in a circular formation that surrounded me and Origin.

"Time to commence the roulette for your new residence." Origin announced. "This is gonna be fun. I hope you get Sinnoh for the chuckles hehehe."

"This mothafucka…" I mumbled. Never in my wildest dream, would've prepared me to be teased by a God for its amusement about my childhood crush.

The pillars started to spin. Origin sang and every time its tendril pointed toward a specific pillar, it glowed.

'Oh, my god.'

"Eeny..."

I realized that each pillar symbolized a specific region, and the first pillar was Kanto. Intricate carvings of the legendary birds with Lugia looming above with its wing springing forth on the marble.

"Meeny..."

Carvings of the Beast Trio were etched into the lower section. The central segment was a Japanese-style building crowned with a massive bird, Ho-oh.

"Miny..."

Depicting a clash between a behemoth and a leviathan, each represented the pinnacle of their craft. One of my favorite Pokémon, Rayquaza, wrapped its serpentine body around the two and reached further into the heavens above. Facing off a colossal asteroid of marble.

"Moe..."

Sinnoh wasn't even a fucking pillar, as the trio of legendaries was already waving at me with a sadistic expression in real time.

"Catch…"

A clash of ideals as opposing colors revolved around one another. Zekrom, the ruler of the brackish skies, was overlaid with bolts of electricity, representing the concept of ideals. Reshiram brightens the skies with a torrent of flames that burn away the lies only to reveal the truth. The pillar's base was a carving of Kyurem, the ruler of the Ice Age, surrounded by crystal shapes.

"A Pyroar…"

A towering tree of marble with branches so long that it rivaled Rayquaza's clash in scale. Those branches snuggly hugged a spherical cocoon. Among the complex network of roots was a colossal serpent wrapping toward the trunk and beyond. However, unlike the others, I felt a sensation inside of myself.

Dun Dun—

My heart pounded in tandem with the pulses of lights that flared up, which intricately wrapped along the pillar… or rather tree.

"Aww, my song was cut short. Welp, it seems like your region of belonging is Kalos." Origin paused. "Before I send you to your new host, here." Shining in a brilliant glare.

Kssshhhk—!

My eyes bulged when I saw the Arc Phone underneath a cracked carapace of yellow light. The device landed in my ghostly hands, and my inner kid was ignited in utter excitement. But the more I thought to myself wouldn't this be too obvious in public?

"Don't worry about the Arc Phone ruining your cover because, to other mortals, it is just a regular Pokédex that any aspiring trainer would obtain.

"Phew."

Origin continued. "I'm curious, are you interested in being a type specialist or all-rounder? Maybe you excluded the thought of being a combative trainer entirely."

Staring at Origin Arceus, who stood at the opposite end, I closed my eyes, immersing myself in the darkest depths of my mind.

'What do I want?'

Throughout my childhood up to my adolescence, I had a soft spot for ice types. Aesthetically, they were pleasing to the eyes, truly a spectacle. I initially wanted to travel to a snowy locale to experience it for the first time, but here I am. Dead.

I already knew the gist of the archetype I desired. Forge under the sole purpose of having a blast with the added benefit of being a troll.

"Origin, am I being transported to a world that ignores the rule of four moves?" I tilted my head.

Before me, Origin Arceus stood. Sporting a chuckle across its face, looking straight at me.

"Yep." Origin shrugged. "And besides, it is more entertaining not to be limited to four moves. I prefer to see the chaos of an arms race that raises the stakes."

"Great."

The more I thought about it. I realized that this was probably a stupid decision, but…

Fuck It, We Ball!

Opening my eyes to see a God of all Pokémon. Staring at that imposing figure I nodded my head.

"I'm in the mood for ice." My face embraced a rising grin that couldn't contain itself.

"Heh. In all honesty. I expected you to go dragon or something mainstream, but I like it."

Origin nodded its head and continued, seemingly satisfied by my response. "Here is my departing gift before you embark on your journey, trainer."

'Of course, I'm gonna give myself some leeway on catching some other types cause dragons are cool too.' My train of thought derailed when I felt an unimaginable chill.

Origin's chest softly glowed in a subtle blue light that emitted a chilling surge. Exhaling a cloud of condensed water vapor leaving the area hidden in smoke. A reinforcement of snowflakes rode outward to form a dune of white the size that exceeded my peripheral. Two rings of cerulean eyes pierce through the thick tsunami of snow.

The sounds of constant crackling and mild pops plagued my mind. My feet lost their grip on the newly formed floor, losing my balance as a downpour of cold hurled my body in a violent force.

A torrent of air so potent that it instantly propelled the winter into the sky. My vision cleared up to reveal the floor of clouds was now frozen in a glacier wasteland. Origin Arceus bathed in the shower of snowflakes behind a diamond-looking plate. My Arc phone rang, displaying a box of text and an icon of a light blue square.

[Icicle Plate]

'Uck!'

Cold.

The so-called plate shattered into itty bitty pieces of dust. Shooting forward like a loaded cannon with scattershot, littering my body in the shrapnel of pure coldness that shivered my soul. Dropping my phone in the process when my body was devoured by a frigid chill that festered inside.

Cr-Crackle—! My body crystallized and, seconds later, fractured to dust. I stared at my appendages in horror, which continued to forcibly jut out icicles and transform me into a coffin of ice. A cycle of freezing and detonation.

'Ahhhhhhhhh…'

The corners of my vision were intruded by a white mist that turned completely black.

The scene was a blizzard, inferior in comparison to the deity that was previously ahead of me. Thin enough to peer through the blockade of snow. The white landscape was tainted by streaks of crimson.

'Blood?'

A silhouette in the distance was hung over a pool of frozen blood. The sight only fueled my urge to reach it. My feet collapsed into the snow beneath me, the thick powder was awfully close to my knee. Like a hound stalking a trail of blood for its next meal, I continued to push through.

My face paled when I saw the ashen appearance of the body. A lifeless male teenager so pale that it was hard to decipher that he was of Asian descent. A piece of metal shrapnel forcibly lifted the corpse.

Looking over the ledge reveals a plane cockpit in a cushion of snow and sharp rocks. A wing slanted against the small cliff side I was on. Turning around revealed the rest of the craft and a specific family amidst the graveyard. Heaving a deep breath, fighting back the urge to vomit. I returned to the corpse.

An object popped out from the scene, a bright teal device lay in the grasp of the corpse. My hands instinctively went forward, puncturing the waterfall of snowflakes to obtain it. A 3DS settled in my hand, a beacon of good memories. However, only one word bounced in my mind.

'Me.'

My vision returned to the cloudy paradise as the last bits of ice cascaded down. Tears fell uncontrollably. My throat clenched to fight off a gag that was on the verge of spilling out.

Drip Drip

"So that's how I died..." A cold smokey breath leaked from my jaw.

The phone huddled in between my feet started to shine with notifications. Droplets of tears lay on the screen.

The frigid pain retreated from my body as comfort ensued. Instead of revolting in the presence of a chill, it felt delightful. Similar to the euphoric feeling of my body being soaked in cold water to avoid the summer heat. However, the pain of those memories persisted almost like an ominous void lay dormant in my chest.

"F-fuck!"

Drip Drip

"Damn!"

"It hurts… Ukh… T-to stare… At the s-shredded remains… Of my family." I whimpered.

"Sh-shit!"

Bang—! My knees fell to the ground. Slamming my fist against the floor.

"Fffuuuucckkk!"

Bang!

"Cough Cough…!"

Like trumpets announcing the gate of heaven. 'Oh shit.'

Pfftt—

"Blleergh!"

An outpour of stomach fluid surpassed the threshold of my throat. A vomit that looked like cosmic gunk fell.

Crinkle—

Yellow tendrils held a bag underneath my gullet, catching the vile excess.

"Cough… Cough…!"

Another squadron of tendrils flew toward my face with… tissues? It wiped my wet eyes and cleaned my vile wasteland of a mouth.

I felt a rhythmic pattern of pats on my back giving a slight sense of comfort. A group of Unown charged forth and cuddled me like an army of puppies. Forming a ball of Unown.

Bang! Bang!

The fluffy clouds shook, attributed to some sort of earthquake. I gazed upward to see the commotion and three draconic heads pop from the crowd. Palkia's arms spread wide open and joined in on the hug, followed by Dialga. My vision was devoured in pitch black when Giratina wrapped his wings around everyone. I smiled in turn. Who would've thought these big dragons could be so adorable?

The hug certainly worked in mending my heart. However, an issue arose when the hug kept squeezing me tighter. "I'm getting suffocated… Help!"

"Hahaha!" A burst of recognizable laughter from Origin Arceus roared out. The cuddle session was disassembled and gave me the much needed breathing room. The triplets went back to Arceus.

Origin walked to my flank, patting my shoulder. "My bad for the trauma, an error on my part… I could always revert your memories if you want."

"Nah, I'm good. I prefer to acknowledge rather than concede these memories. Still, it fucking hurts but I'm going to honor my family in due time."

"Goodman." Origin slapped my back, which left a stinging ache.

'Dayum!' Does this motherfucker not realize it's a literal god?

"So… Are you ready to embark on your journey." Origin pointed toward the Kalosian pillar that shone in the colors of lapis lazuli, rubies, and emeralds.

I nodded my head.

"Bon voyage!" Origin slapped me again, hurling me toward the marble trunk.

"Ahhhhhhhh!"

Turning my head, I could see the crowd.

Origin Arceus was lifting a thumbs-up while winking.

Arceus was orchestrating a choir of Unown, all chanting their goodbyes.

Palkia cupped his hands and roared, "Let's do some bench presses together when you reach Sinnoh!" Dialga whipped Palkia with a fearsome tail and shook her head. The dragon of time roared her goodbye. Palkia, on the other hand, slightly whimpered and sent a glare at Dialga.

Giratina looked in amusement at the sibling scuffle. Those terrifying eyes locked on me. However, I chuckled instead because those eyes could not match his body language, in the slightest. Waving one wing and wagging his tail in the air.

Taking a deep breath I turned my head back to the marble wall, which kept getting closer. The gust of wind punched my face.

"I'm going to fucking die again, aren't I?"

"Ahhhhhhhh!"

A millisecond before imminent doom, a portal ripped open, embracing me with open arms.

Whoosh—

***

Origin Arceus tapped on the floor and from the point of contact forced a wave of clouds away. Revealing a reflective surface of a circular shape that was formerly still. Now quakes in ripples like the sea under a stormy surge. Colors started to bleed throughout the tiny sea and slowly formed an image.

A pale body lay partially buried in piles of snow and splinters, the back face toward the sky. Surrounded by a forest of towering trees coated in white, the closest ones were smashed. Craters and debris were littered across the crime scene.

Upon closer inspection, the corpse's legs were bent the wrong way, and a neon orange coat tore to shreds exposing a cavity of flesh. Seems like the youngster's final hail mary was hiding a pair of little critters he held dear with his broken body. A Shellder and Snorunt obscured by the corpse and for safekeeping were desperately hidden in snow by their owner.

Cr-crackle…! Crruncch!

The sound of bones forcibly going back into place. The back was growing a colony of fleshy tendrils that weaved together to regenerate the cavity. Akin to revving an engine, the body shook, and the skin regained a sense of color from its ashen state. A frigid smoke spewed out like a rampaging Baxcalibur.

Blue tinted goggles that rested against the beanie crashed into the snowy terrain. Bluish gray hair fell over a pair of cerulean eyes that woke with confused expression. The body rolled over to face the sky as if to stare at Origin Arceus.

"Hehehe this is going to be fun."

Origin Arceus juggled the Arc Phone that was previously forgotten on the floor. Catching the device with one of its tendrils and proceed to dangle it over the circular floor. The phone fell from the loose grip and seemingly passed through the surface, causing a chain of ripples. Watching in anticipation while holding back a laugh.

The Arc Phone fell like a meteor and found its mark. Slamming into the forehead of the target.

Bang!

"OWWwww…! This MuthafuckKa! You overgrown Spiritomb!" The body pointed two middle fingers in the air.

"Bullseye!" Origin chuckled.

"Aren't you too old for this type of shenanigans?" Arceus spoke from behind.

"What? But aren't you tempted to have some fun too… Lavesta?" Origin's brow rose. "Cmon… Lavesta, it will be sooo much fun."

Origin could swear it saw a vein bulge on Arceus' face to accompany the flushness. Arceus tapped her hoof against the floor, causing the clouds to funnel into a spherical object. Glimmers of rainbow pierce through the fluffy exterior and the mini cloud blew, revealing a mega stone.

Arceus stepped forward with an evil expression, "I call dibs on slamming this on that mortal's head." Materializing a singular cosmic arm that pulsed in silver and through each interval the arm bulged with muscle.

'Sword dance!? He might actually die from that, no, the region woul…'

"Lavesta…"

Origin's eyes widened.

Kraaaaaaa—!

Arceus threw the stone like a javelin. Dwarfing even Palkia's baseball practice with asteroids. A blast of air forced a 360° tsunami of clouds that raced toward the horizon.

"Ahh… shoot."

Origin hastily sensed the mega stone, tracked it, and spotted a rainbow pearl on its way toward the atmosphere.

"Ehh, screw it."

Whipping out a pair of 3d glasses to watch the scene unfold.

'I just reverse time.'

Sorry, Zich.

A prismatic shower erupted from the stratosphere. Bursting out a rampaging serpent of immense length, Mega Rayquaza, racing toward the exosphere at an impressive speed to intercept.

"HrryooohHh!"

The dragon howled a mighty roar of defiance. Adorning a majestic armor of emerald, lush in vitality. Rayquaza started spinning in a death roll, forcing a spiral of yellow streaks to twist, hugging tightly along the body.

A second detonation incited a grand discharge of green draconic energy, merging into a replica of itself but at a larger scale. Rayquaza took the reign of the newly formed titan that rivals the size of an asteroid.

Conjuring a ball of heat that grew larger and hotter. A miniature sun roared to life with an outpour of vivid colors. Bolts of maroon crackled among the storm of orange. Unhinging the jaw to summon the pinnacle of dragonhood.

SKREEEEE-EEEEEONGK Wrrrrrr-uuuhn—!

A lance of heat charged forth casting the world in a rosy hue. The mega stone, undeterred by such threats, continued to accelerate with a golden trail.

A match in the making. A joust of the cosmos.

The collision was similar to watching a single piece of sand against the ocean. Sadly, that piece of sand was the great serpent.

"Ohhhh yikes. Sorry Ray Ray." Origin murmured.

"Ryahhhhhhh..!" A roar faded to obscurity as the punted dragon shrank in the distance. The residue from the popped titan fell into the atmosphere, covering the airspace in a sail of aurora.

"Strike!"

Origin looked toward Arceus who radiated in a good mood with a group of Unown spelling out "STRIKE" behind her. Swiping at her shoulders as if there was dust with a smug expression.

Origin saw the floor flash in a bright light.

BOOM—!

Fin

Clap—! The clapperboard snapped shut.

"CUT! Cut! Cut!" Origin wore an attire of a beret and scarf that hugged the neck. Rising from the cushion, holding a rolled up parchment with a tendril to the mouth. "C'mon, Lavesta! I wanted a normal story of a trainer, not his region being blown up." Origin paused. "Get off the set."

"Hmph." Arceus displayed her annoyance. "Oi! Don't scoff at me." Origin looked toward the camera crew of Unown. "Go tease her ok."

"Yes, sir!" They replied and started their chase.

Snap—! Fingers snapped as Origin Arceus called for a duo.

"Clean up crew!"

Palkia and Dialga walked on stage. Palkia looked confused with an expression saying, "This is not my job," as he stared at his sister.

"C'mon Chop Chop."

The world turned gray to commence the process of reversal.
