Eariler Years: Crime Alley

"C'mon, last one!" Said by one Jason Todd, age 14 and dressed in a red hoodie and grey ripped cargo pants and sneakers, was currently using a tire-iron to remove the wheels of a car.

But not just any car...the Batmobile. Though he didn't know that. Well, he did but just didn't care.

Then the last wheel came off and Jason smirks in triumph. But then a large shadow casts over him and his smirks comes undone as he looks behind him.

Of course, in all his glory was the Batman, standing over the child and examining his work.

"You do realize this is the Batmobile, right?" He speaks up, and Jason remains still, with an unafraid expression on his face.

"Duh. You realize you parked your car in Crime Alley, right?" Jason remarks and Batman walks up to him.

Seeing this, Jason then swings his tire-iron hoping to hit the Dark Knight, but instead Batman grabs the tire-iron and takes it out of his hand and grabs Jason by his collar.

"Did you really think that was a smart move?" He asks, slightly surprised and Jason scoffs.

"You want to go beat up on a kid? Go enlist in the G.C.P.D like every other bully in this town!" Jason yells and Batman narrows his eyes.

"...I'm going to ask you this once. So please, give some serious thought to your answer..." Batman tells him and Jason glares at him.

"What?!" He yells and a small smirk registers on Batman's face.

"...Are you hungry?"

Present: The Batcave

Bruce was currently looking standing in front of the glass case that held Jason's costume. The uniform itself was bloodied and tattered. The domino mask ripped, with one of the eyes destroyed. Its cape was slightly torn with burns at the ends. The R symbol was cracked, and the tunic had several cuts and blood stains plastered on it.

At the bottom of the case, there was a plague next embedded into it. With these words written.

'IN HONOR OF JASON TODD

A GOOD SOLDIER

A GREAT SON'

And right next to it, was a picture of him and Jason in their suits, with Jason posing with his arms crossed, a grin on his face and Bruce just having a slight smile.

"You wanna talk about it?" Tim asks and Bruce glances to the case, then back at Tim.

"Hello Tim." He greets and turns to see Tim standing behind him, in a red jacket with a black shirt and jeans with red sneakers.

"Morning Bruce." He replies and Bruce furrows his eyebrows.

"Shouldn't you be getting ready for school?" Bruce questions and Tim was confused.

"Uh, Dick said he wanted me, Steph and Cass to hang out with him and Barbara today. He told us you wouldn't mind." Tim explains and Bruce's gaze soften and he has a small smile.

"Oh. Well...listen to Dick and Barbara. And watch over Cass, okay?" Bruce tells him and Tim nods.

"I got it, Bruce." He assures then looks at the glass case, and looks at Bruce, concerned.

"You wanna talk about it?" Tim asks and Bruce glances to the case, then back at Tim.

"I'm fine, Jas-Tim." Bruce corrects himself and Tim was surprised.

"You haven't done that in a while." Tim says.

"Sorry. I'm...I miss him." Bruce admits and Tim smiles.

"It's okay, Bruce. Don't apologize...I'm heading upstairs. Dick's probably already brought the car around." Tim says and starts heading upstairs.

"Tim." Bruce calls out to him, making the boy turn to face him.

"You're a good partner. And I'm proud of you." Bruce tells him and Tim smiles then continues heading upstairs.

As he leaves, Bruce walks to the Batcomputer and sits down in the chair.

"Computer. Start a new file. Attach the data upload from Batwoman. Then add the data from the shootout near City Hall and the crime scene of the victims on the rooftop." Bruce states.

"New file created. Subject Title?" The A.I. asks and Bruce looks over the data, pondering to himself.

"Subject Title: Unknown Vigilante."

Crime Alley: Apartment Complex

"Black Mask...how do I find you?" Jason asks to himself and looks over his evidence board, with a red marker in hand.

'You had the Misfits working for you...I'm guessing as enforcers of some kind. Taken care of. He'll have to go some more muscle.' He thinks and crosses out Chancer and Killer Moth.

"But he does have Humpty...eh, doesn't matter. His knee's broken." Jason retorts and crosses out Humpty, then looks over on the right.

"Then there's the Goons. Guys on the roof of City Hall were preparing for the Misfits and the others from the apartment. Speaking of, those men I killed in the shootout had gotten new guns from Black Mask and were planning on using it for the Gala..." He continues then sits down to ponder in thought.

"So I stopped the Misfits from robbing the Gala, for whatever reason. And now Black Mask is gonna try amd find out who's messing with his operation...but not unless I screw with it even further." Jason says then looks back at the evidence board.

'But how?' He thinks of possible leads before eventually remembering a conversation with Black Mask's men.

"The Drug Trade..." Jason smirks and goes over to his desk, where his helmet laid, plugged up into a laptop.

He started searching for the info through the criminal database on his helmet.

Once he found the information he needed, Jason leaned back with a smirk.

"The head members of the Trade...take them out and that would be a low-blow to Black Mask's business." He says to himself and kicks his feet up.

"But...taking them all out would be difficult. Might take weeks. Not unless I get them all in one place. I just have to get their attention." Jason continues then looks back at his laptop seeing a list of names under the head members of the Drug Trade business.

"Ah. Their lieutenants...looks like I got plans."

The Hundred Acres Of All

Outside the temple and meditating on grass, was Ducra and Essence. They were there for majority of the day. Not saying a word to each other the entire time.

Although her mother was in a calm state of mind, Essence however was not. In her head, deomic smiles flashed in her head. She saw herself, Jason and a figure in red and blue fighting against the Untitled.

Then a image flashed of Jason fighting off against their leader, using the All-Blades but he gets struck down. The Leader stands over Jason's body and looks back at Essence with a sinister grin.

"Hello...my niece."

He speaks and Essence's eyes widen and she lets out a startled gasp, making Ducra open her eyes and turn to her.

"What is wrong, daughter?" Ducra questions, concerned and Essence looks to her mother, with worry.

"I saw...The Untitled." She admits and Ducra's eyes widen in surprise.

"What was it?" The woman asks her daughter and Essence rubs her temples.

"It was visions...of what may come...Jason was in it." She informs Ducra and the woman turns away from her daughter, sighing.

"So it is Jason...he's the key to this." Ducra states and Essence raises an eyebrow.

"What are you talking about, Mother? The key to what?" Essence questions and stands up from her seated position.

Ducra then turns to her daughter with a serious look on her face, slightly unnerving Essence.

"Jason is the key...to finally ending the war between the All-Caste and The Untitled."
