Lincoln kept hugging Kieran for about 5 minutes
"hey Lincoln I have something to give you." Kieran said
Lincoln put Kieran down and Kieran gave him a pokeball
Lincoln sent out the Pokemon that was inside
it was a green applin
applin looked at Lincoln and then back to Kieran and said "(you have a crush on the cryptid of kitakami!!?)"
Lincoln immediately put two and two together
he picked up Kieran and gave him a kiss on the forehead
"I take it that's a yes?" Kieran asked
"yup!" Lincoln said while thinking (I'm gonna marry him as soon as I can.)
"so how are you?" Kieran asked while Lincoln put him down "I see you've been working out."
"Yea watch this!" Lincoln said before he cut a nearby boulder clean in half with a kick
"What are you feeding him?" Kieran asked pon pon who shrugged
"Yea I've been getting stronger!" Lincoln said "not just me but my team too!"
"yea I've heard." Kieran said "you've become a sort of a local cryptid."
"oh so that's why all those trainers show up!" Lincoln said "they were strong but I beat them!"
"how many did you beat?" Kieran asked
Lincoln proceeded to tell him of all the trainers he met
"so you're telling me you beat the former champion of sinnoh who strikes fear into the hearts of all who challenge her met a 2 ex champions one of which has the legendary dragon of truth and the other went to mt. silver to get weaker and then a couple days ago you beat both subway bosses am I hearing that right?" Kieran asked
"well I didn't know those extra details but yup." Lincoln said
"dude subway boss emmet was at my school two days ago telling us that he lost to an incredibly strong trainer from kitakami and offered to train me and carmine because of it." Kieran said
"you're welcome?" Lincoln said
"Lincoln he is very scary." Kieran said "I have heard him say "beat 20 trainers and face me" in the most unnerving way."
"and his brother?" Lincoln asked
"apparently an really nice guy." Kieran said "weird right?"
"yeah." Lincoln said
"anyway we got a little bit of time to kill before I got to get back to my group project anything you wanna do?" Kieran asked
"I want to evolve my applin into a dipplin!" Lincoln said excitedly
"alright then let's go!" Kieran said
after a little bit they got the apple needed for the evolution
"alright applin here you go!" Lincoln said give applin the apple
applin began to glow and change before eventually becoming dipplin
"you know what I think I'm gonna call you syrup." Lincoln said
"anyway I should probably get back to the project." Kieran said
"see you at the festival?" Lincoln asked
"yup!" Kieran said "I'll get you a mask."
and with that Kieran left
Lincoln began to walk around for a little bit before noticing a blue green and blonde haired woman with a camera and growlithe with long hair
"oh excuse me!" She said to Lincoln "are you a trainer?"
"uh yes?" Lincoln said
"Great! I need some help with something would you be willing?" She asked
"sure what's up?" Lincoln asked
"well you see there's this unknown pokemon in the timeless forest now it normally only shows up during a full moon with fog however the day of the festival it appears despite there being no fog or full moon." She explained "I want to get a picture of it, I'm sure it will help my photography career!"
"well alright then let me do something first." Lincoln said before sending out noir
"you wouldn't happen to have a paper and pen on you would you?" Lincoln asked
the woman handed a paper and pen to him
"thank you." Lincoln said as he wrote down a note before giving it to noir "give this to Kieran."
"(right!)" noir said before flying off
"anyway what's your name?" Lincoln asked
"Perrin." The woman said "and you are?"
" I'm Lincoln." Lincoln introduced himself
"well then Lincoln let's get to work!" Perrin said
and with that they headed off to the timeless forest
once they got there they began to look around until...
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
they heard massive footsteps approaching
they looked and saw a massive pokemon with a red circle on its head, a blacked out eye with a green iris and hardened mud on it's body
"The bloodmoon beast!" Perrin said as she began to take pictures
the bloodmoon beast let out a roar clearly wanting to battle
"Alright then let's go chilled!" Lincoln said sending out chilled
"(I'm sorry you want me to fight that thing?!)" chilled said
"yes! Now use ice beam!" Lincoln said
"(well alright then.)" chilled said before firing the attack
the attack did decent damage but then the blood moon beast fired with an attack of its own as it fired a red blast of its own dealing major damage
"(That hurt!)" chilled said
the bloodmoon beast was about to knock out chilled with a slash but then it got hit by a massive sound wave
it was noir!
"Hey Lincoln!" Kieran said from noir's back
"Kieran!" Lincoln said happily as his boyfriend landed
"you really thought I would stay behind?" Kieran said "I can do the rest of that group project tomorrow."
"while I love this touching sight we got bigger fish to fry!" Perrin said while taking more pictures
the bloodmoon beast recovered and proceeded to fire another red blast
this time aimed at Kieran
"Kieran look out!" Lincoln said as he grabbed Kieran and moved him away from the blast
now Lincoln was pissed
"No one tries to hurt my boyfriend!" Lincoln yelled as he grabbed his mask and put it on
(that mask... wait is this kid the cryptid of kitakami?) Perrin thought to herself
Lincoln let out a yell before rushing in and began to fight the bloodmoon beast with his bare hands
he threw punches, kicks, and even bit it at one point
Perrin couldn't believe it this kid was actually fighting the bloodmoon beast with his bare hands...
and was winning...
then Lincoln got behind it wrapped his arms around it and suplexed it
"Now!" Lincoln yelled
"Right!" Kieran said as he threw a pokeball
it went inside the ball
one shake...
two shakes...
three shakes...
