Danny and Lucifer had returned to Casper High, their break finally over. They did drop Lilith off at her school before coming here. Everyone also notices how close the new girl was to Danny. Lucifer still enjoyed some of the praise that some students gave her as Danny stood by his locker. He shakes his head, knowing he won't be able to break her away from it.
"Hey, dude."
Danny looked up and saw his friends walking up to them, Sam still looking upset.
"Hey, guys. You might need to give Lucy a few minutes." Danny told them.
"Wow, she really puts Paulina to shame," Tucker said, seeing that more than half the school crowding her.
"She's not that great," Sam said, growling.
She has been trying for days to drive Lucifer away, failing each time. Danny was also trying to wrap his head around Sam having a crush on him. However, he came to understand something.
"Sam, you need to stop," Danny said, confusing her.
"Even with her weakened power, it's clear that you can't drive her away. We are under an agreement and helping her is the only thing we can do." Danny told her.
"Danny..." Sam started.
"Second, it's not her power that is making me different. I am doing these of my own choice. And if you're trying to break up a family because you can't get your jealousy under control, then you can forget about me asking you out in the future." Danny added.
"What?!" Sam asked, shocked.
"You know?" Tucker asked.
"Lucy told me. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around it. I mean, we have been friends for a long time." Danny said.
Tucker could see his point. Plus, they both kept denying that they were in a relationship. It would only be a matter of time before the love between them will change.
"But if you know, why are you still with her?" Sam asked, still shocked.
"Because she's not forcing me to do anything. Despite what we heard, Lucy is nothing like the one person we heard about. She's actually a pretty great person off the clock." Danny said, not knowing that Lucifer heard him.
The praises slowly faded as she could only think of what Danny just said.
"She's actually a great person."
'A great person...' She thought, smiling.
Even in Hell, she wasn't treated with that much respect. But hearing those words made her happy. She could feel her heart beating loudly in her chest as a smile appeared on her face. She pushed through the crowd before standing in front of Danny. Then, to everyone's shock, she pulled him into a kiss.
"Thank you, Danny. I'm glad to hear that you think I'm a great person." She said, tip-toeing her fingers up his chest.
"I...errr..." Danny shuttered, surprised she heard him.
"Wait, are you two?" A student asked.
"Well, I do like him. So if he wants, I'll be his girlfriend." Lucifer said, surprising everyone.
"YOU WILL?!"
Sam growls, she'll be damn if she let that bitch take Danny away. Danny, on the other hand, blushed. Lucifer smiles, leaning on his shoulder, spinning her finger on his chest, acting very much like a cute girlfriend.
However, he was soon pulled away by Dash, who looked upset by that.
"As if you deserve a girl like her!" Dash said, looking ready to punch him.
Lucifer pulled Danny away from him before glaring at Dash.
"And you don't deserve anything, Baxter." She said, pushing Danny behind her.
Dash glares back, not understanding why she would choose Fenton as her boyfriend.
"Fenton is a wimp! And wimps don't get cute girls!" Dash said.
Lucifer rolled her eyes. Even without her power, he was still a fool.
"Well, guess what? Since living with him, I've discovered that he's a kind, caring, and wonderful person who treats everyone fairly. And despite both me and Sam coming from rich families, he still treats us as normal people. To him, it doesn't matter what class we are from. If they are a nice person, then they are worthy of being his friends. Something you fail to understand." Lucifer said.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Dash shouted.
"Rich, you? Please!" Paulina laughs.
Lucifer rolled her eyes. These two were so pitiful.
"Yes, I'm rich. And I love him for treating me like a person." Lucifer said, shocking everyone again.
Sam growls, not believing what she just heard. Lucifer could sense her jealousy shoot through the roof as well as her anger.
'Still denying it? Wow, she's more stubborn than I thought.' Lucifer thought.
"My point is, I don't care about Danny's status. I care about the person he is. That's why I'm willing to date him if he wishes." Lucifer said, shocking Dash and Paulina.
Danny was still surprised himself, wondering if Lucifer was trying to trick everyone. But, when she kissed him, it felt real. Was the Devil herself falling for him?
Sam couldn't take it anymore. She screams loudly, causing everyone to jump. Before anyone could stop her, Sam jumped Lucifer, knocking her to the ground.
"Sam!" Tucker shouted as Sam tried to attack the devil.
"Stay away from Danny!" She shouted, no longer caring about the trouble she was going to get.
"Sam, stop!" Danny said, reaching over to grab her.
Sam just pushed him away, not letting up on her attacks. However, Lucifer was protecting her face with her arms. Try as Sam might, she couldn't break through. Danny tried to grab Sam again but Sam punched him. She went back to attacking Lucifer before she was grabbed and yanked off of Lucifer.
"World of Wars, what is going on here?!" Mr. Lancer shouted, holding an angry Sam back.
"I won't let you take Danny away!" Sam shouted, trying to break free.
Lucifer stood up, showing her beaten arms.
"Ms. Devilman? What happened?" Mr. Lancer asked.
"I was confusing my feelings to Danny and wanted to see if he could take me out on a date later. And then Sam attacked me for doing so." Lucifer said.
"Is this true?" Mr. Lancer asked.
"Let me go!" Sam shouted, still wanting to teach her a lesson.
"Yes, Mr. Lancer," Danny said, walking up.
"I was thinking it over when Sam jumped her. I tried to pull them apart, but Sam punched me the second time." Danny said.
Sure enough, Danny did have a red mark on his cheek, making Mr. Lancer sigh.
"Mr. Fenton, Ms. Devilman. Both of you head to the nurse's office to get checked out. Ms. Manson, the principal office." Mr. Lancer said, knowing this can't be ignored.
'Well, someone is doing their job right.' Lucifer thought as she and Danny walked away.
Later,
After checking on Danny's cheek and Lucifer's arms. The nurse gave them an ice pack to help cool down the stringing. When she left, Danny turned to Lucifer, ready to give his answer.
"Yes."
"What?"
"To the date. As long as we do it Earth's way," Danny said.
Through surprise, Lucifer smiles. He was willing to date her. He was willing to date the devil. And she felt her heart beating in her chest once more.
"I'm glad for that. Since we need time to heal up, let's wait until this weekend," She said, leading up to him.
"And I do hope that we could be much more in the future." She said, inches away from him.
Danny could only blush as he tried to keep a clear head. Lucifer kissed him again, finding herself loving him more and more.
'You're my now, my king.' Lucifer thought.
Meanwhile,
Sam growled as her parents couldn't hardly believe what they heard.
"Samantha Manson!" Her mother shouted.
"What were you thinking!?" Her father added.
Sam ignored them, her anger still on Lucifer.
"Even if Ms. Manson denies her feelings about Mr. Fenton, that gives her no right to attack another girl who asked him out." The Principal said.
"She doesn't deserve him," Sam said, trying to get up.
Mr. Lancer was holding her down, shaking his head.
"Mr. and Mrs. Manson, we know that you both don't like the Fentons, but even you two know that attacking someone who asked Mr. Fenton out is not acceptable around here." The principal said.
"Of course, we'll make sure that she'll never do this again." Sam's Mother said.
"You won't transfer her. But she is being suspended for attacking a student. And she is to think of an apology to say to Ms. Devilman. This is not something we can ignore." The principal added.
"And I suggest getting Ms. Manson some help to deal with her anger. I fear the next time Ms. Manson and Ms. Devilman cross paths, it will be much worse." Mr. Lancer added.
The Mansons nod upset they couldn't transfer their daughter to a better school, but they are also not happy with Sam attacking another person. They soon took her home and ground her. Sam didn't care. She wanted to get back at Lucifer for ruining everything.
"So, about the deal?"
Sam turned and walked over to her black box. She opened it and pulled out a red orb.
"You're a piece of her. I will deal with her myself!" Sam said, not knowing the orb was feeling on her anger.
"But you can't. She's the devil and you're a human. She'll wipe the floor with you. And with her searching for the rest of us, you will always remain powerless."
Sam hated it. She hated all of it! If that bitch hadn't shown up, none of this would have happened.
"You've seen for yourself what we can do. Using me will not free the boy. You must find the last four and use our power to finally free everyone from the lies. You know you stand no chance."
Sam growls, hating the fact that the orb was right. Even in a human form, Lucifer was too powerful.
"If I do this, will you help me free Danny from your host?" Sam asked.
"Of course! So, do we have a deal?"
Sam held the orb close to her, feeling its power surround her.
"I already made it."
And done. Well, Danny and Lucifer returned to Casper High and Lucifer has finally admitted her feelings toward Danny. However, Sam couldn't take it anymore and attacked Lucifer. She even hit Danny. Danny did agree to the date, still wrapping his head around everything that happened so far. And it turns out Sam had a piece of Lucifer's power the whole time! However, she's not the next demon that Danny, Lucifer, and Lilith are fighting. That's Tucker. And yeah, I will be writing Danny's and Lucifer's date later. I might use that date to go into the lemon, but not sure on that yet.
