The Devil Family was causing another demon that escapes from hell. Though, Lucifer could tell it was a lesser demon. Still, she agreed that it was too risky to ignore. She ran with Danny and Lilith, trying to think of a plan.
"My Queen?" Danny asked, waiting for her plan.
"My powers are still weak. I would normally have caught it by now but I need another piece of my powers." She said.
"Allow me to help," Danny said, touching her shoulder.
Lucifer felt a missing piece of her powers return and form a fireball in her hand. She threw it, hitting the lesser demon. Lilith quickly approached the down demon and pulled out a fire rope. She quickly tried it up, surprising her adoptive parents with how she tied it up.
"Lilith, did you watch something you're not supposed to?" Lucifer asked, seeing that it was tied much like a BDSM.
"Only when I'm 16." Lilith shrug.
"LILTH!" Danny and Lucifer shouted.
"Kidding! I'm kidding!" Lilith said, laughing.
"She's your daughter," Danny told Lucifer.
"And she's yours too," Lucifer said back.
"Mom, Dad, should we get this demon back to hell?" Lilith asked.
Danny and Lucifer sigh, nodding. Danny picked up the demon before he spotted something.
"We're being recorded again," he said, seeing the camera crew.
Lucifer sighed. Keeping a low profile was going to be out of the question if this kept up. Looks like she might not have a choice soon. Danny could see what she was thinking and sighed. His human form wasn't going to like this, but even he agreed it wouldn't last forever.
Lucifer walked up to the camera crew, shocking them greatly.
"You wish to interview us," Lucifer said.
"Yes, You have been seen around town a lot. Just who are you? And what are you?" Lance Thunder asked.
"You won't believe me, but very well," Lucifer said, waving Danny and Lilith over.
"Listen carefully, everyone. I will not repeat this. My name is Lucifer. Yes, THAT Lucifer. I'm the devil." She said, shocking the camera crew.
"However, I'm not here to hurt anyone. A human family made the mistake of opening a portal to Hell and, as Queen of Hell, I couldn't sit back and like my kingdom run amuck. So, I hired these two to help me." Lucifer said.
"And who are they?" Lance asked, sweating.
"This is Daniel. My bodyguard. And my adopted daughter, Lilith." Lucifer said.
"Our queen asked us to come to ensure that no one is hurt before their time," Danny said, knowing that Lucifer was partly lying.
"Mom saved me a long time ago and I became her daughter. She has asked me to join her so I can prepare myself for the throne." Lilith added.
"So, you're helping us now..." Lance started.
"Because I know my father and sisters will not stand for such a thing. Plus, it was the human's fault for finding a way into my home. Normally, I'm all for my people causing trouble, but I have roamed this Earth once before and there are some things I have grown to like during my time here. So, for now, I'm helping you humans. Until your true judgment comes." Lucifer said.
"S-S-So, we're safe from you?" Lance asked, growing more scared.
"For now," Lucifer said before Danny stepped up.
"My Queen, we need to get this demon back to Hell." He said, feeling the demon struggling in his arm.
"Very well." She said before looking at the camera crew one last time.
"If you want to pray to God, then go ahead. You were the ones that sought me out this time. Now the whole world will know that the Devil is real." Lucifer said, smirking.
With that, the Devil family walked away. Lance gulps, shocked to learn what he just found out.
After throwing the Lesser Demon back into hell, Danny turned to his father, frowning.
"For the last time, UPGRADE THE FUCKING POTRAL!" He shouted, tired of him forgetting.
"Grandpa, this is the 665th time we told you! Stop saying you're get to it and never do!" Lilith added.
"And no more Ghost stuff. Update that portal or have all of Hell rain down on you." Lucifer said.
With that, the three left the lab and sat down in the kitchen. Neither Danny nor Lilith bother to turn back into their human forms. Jazz walked in, noticing them.
"Are you all okay?" She asked.
"We're just peachy, Jazz," Danny said, sighing.
"Dad forgot to upgrade the portal again, did he?" She asked.
"No shit," Lilith said, sighing.
No one bothered to correct her this time. Jazz looked at the demon family, feeling a bit envious of them. However, she shook her head. She shouldn't be getting those thoughts. She did remember one thing she learned about Lucifer and wondered if she used it.
"Morningstar."
"Huh?" Lucifer said, looking at her.
"I read that some started to call you Lucifer Morningstar. That's your real name, right?" Jazz asked.
Lucifer blinks. Morningstar. She hasn't heard that name in a long time. Not since she was kicked out of Heaven.
"Yes. Though, I stopped using it a long time ago. It's been so long since I heard that name." She said, smiling a little.
"I like it," Lilith said, smiling.
"As do I," Danny said.
Lucifer smiles. A name she had forgotten was returned to her. By a human, no less.
"Morningstar. It feels so great to use that again." Lucifer said, hoping to keep the name this time.
"So, do you want anything?" Jazz asked.
"Sure, mind making some pancakes?" Lucifer asked.
"Sure, but just know mine might not be the same as Mom's." Jazz said, walking over to the stove.
"As long as they are good, I don't care what they taste like or who made them," Lucifer said.
Jazz nods, getting to work. However, Lucifer did sense Jazz's feelings earlier. She knew that Jazz was envious of Danny and Lilith being demons. She never heard of a human that wanted to have her powers. Well, Jazz did return her real name. Maybe she'll think about it.
The next day,
Lucifer watched the sunrise as she turned to her sleeping daughter. Lilith had turned back to her six-year-old self when she passed out and she was sure Danny was human again. She spends the whole night resaying her full name in her head, feeling it grow on her.
"Morningstar. Lucifer Morningstar. I'm Lucifer Morningstar." She said, smiling.
"Tough luck, father. I'm keeping the name this time." Lucifer said, looking at the sky.
"Mommy?"
Lucifer turned to see her daughter getting up, rubbing her eyes.
"Morning, my little devil," Lucifer said, picking the young girl up.
"You're acting weird again." Lilith notices.
"Just happy that your aunt returned my name to me. I missed being called that." She said, smiling.
Lucifer then started to carry Lilith to the bathroom, running a tub for her. Lilith was still confused by her adopted mother's happiness, but Lilith felt happy too. Sure enough, Lilith took off her PJs and got in the tub. Lucifer rolled up her sleeves and started to wash Lilith's hair.
"Hmm?" Lucifer said, seeing some white hair in her black hair.
"Mommy?" Lilith asked, hearing her.
"It's nothing," Lucifer said, finding it odd.
'From her papers, Lilith was born with black hair. And she's way too young to have white hair. Is she turning into a demon the longer she used my power?' Lucifer thought.
She needs to check Danny too. If what she learns is right, Danny and Lilith could be turning into real demons with her powers.
Later,
The Morningstar family all sat down at the table, Jazz exiting from the lab.
"He did forget again?" Danny asked.
"Yes." Jazz sighs.
"666," Lilith said.
"Wait, isn't that your number, Lucifer?" Jazz asked.
"The mark of the beast. My favorite number." She said, smirking.
Jazz pulled out her notebook and wrote it down.
"Jazz, what are you doing?" Danny asked.
"Just writing down what is true about Lucifer." She said.
"You know you can just ask me," Lucifer said.
"You do know that one of your titles is The Liar, right?" Jazz asked.
"True, true. But we're family here. So, ask away." Lucifer said, smirking.
"Save it for later, we need to get to school," Danny said, looking at the clock.
Everyone else nodded and finished their breakfast.
"Here, Danny. Let me take care of that. You get Lilith ready for school." Lucifer said, taking his plate.
"Um, thanks?" Danny asked, confused.
Lucifer nodded before taking the plates to the sink. She got a look into Danny's hair. As she thought, it was turning white. Meaning, that Danny and Lilth were slowly turning into full demons. And she was thinking about giving Jazz a piece of her powers as a reward. Maybe this could be fun. She just needed to talk to them about what was happening to them.
And stopping here. Well, all of Amity Park now knows the Devil is among them and Lucifer knew she couldn't keep hiding for long. Though she made sure not to let everyone know that Danny and Lilith were using her powers. It also turns out that Danny and Lilith are starting to turn into demons the longer they use her powers. And between all that, Jazz is becoming envious of both her brother's and her adopted niece's demon powers. And due to all the help Jazz has given so far, Lucifer is thinking about rewarding her with a piece of her power. Which brings up a question, what should Jazz's demon form look like? Don't forget what I said about Lucifer's powers.
Also, since Jazz is envious of demon powers, would she have Demon Evny in this story? Much like how Freakshow had Ghost Evny in the show?
