Time to continue with spring break here at Camp Mastodon, but there is one issue and that issue is the one Loud who doesn't seem to like what's happened to his family and how things have changed. Chapter 553: Some Camp Mastodon time, sorta…

(March 28. Camp Mastodon.)

We see everyone just enjoying their fun time here and some other folks from Royal Woods are also here to spend their time at the Camp that is no longer shutting down. Also some folks are still talking about the discovery of the long lost treasure of Captain Kit.

Lori and Leni are just sun bathing by the pier. Lynn Jr. is at the zip line with Luan. Lisa, is being buried in the sand by Lily while Lola and Lana are making sand castles. Lucy is in the water and floating freaking out some of the folks. Just the usual fun times for the Loud Kids.

But there is one person who doesn't seem to pleased. That person is the new Camp Mastodon Scout Master, Leonard Loud. After what he heard from the other day, he is not happy that his granddaughter and grandson really no longer Loud's. He's not pleased to know that these changes have happened especially that Lincoln and Luna are adopted by Michelle Lewis. He doesn't even understand why his son and his wife are alright with this.

Leonard Loud looks around and sees everyone just enjoying their spring break fun. 'I gotta figure something out. I need to see if this Michelle Lewis is a good parent and convince Lincoln and Luna to return to being Loud's again and forget this whole stupid thing. Those are mistakes of the past and they should just get over them, they weren't so bad.'

Lincoln and Luna are in their bathing suits and enjoying their time near the Lake. Lincoln sighs. "I just gotta say Lunes. This is awesome and so relaxing." He does see Jordan on a jet ski in the water with her parents. "We should come back here next time."

Luna smirks and she agrees. "Dang right. Perhaps we could also go and enjoy Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Camping Grounds. Way better than that horrible Camp Scratchy Lake Bottom. We can all agree that place is horrible."

Just then Gramps/Leonard appears. "Hey there kids."

Lincoln and Luna lower their sunglasses. "Hey gramps. Something wrong?"

"No. Nothing wrong" replied Leonard. "But there is something I gotta show ya Lincoln. Something that Lynnie loved back then too and still does." He shows him the comic. "This is David Steele and he is an awesome super soy agent man!"

Lincoln is confused and he asks. "Ummm, who the heck is David Steele?"

Leonard is surprised and so he explains. "David Steele is by far the best and awesome super soy secret agent who stops evil doers and saves the world! Lynnie and I loved the comic and show and I know that you'll…"

Lincoln then speaks. "Sounds to me like a James Bond Rip-off and The Double-O-Seven franchise is better. Along with the awesome anime Spy x Family."

Luna recalls that one. "Oh yeah, Spy x Family. That anime is awesome. A super spy man and an assassin woman pretending to be husband and wife and don't even know what the other does and their adopted telepath daughter and future vision dog and they don't know what's going on. I saw it and freaking loved it!"

Leonard Loud sees that there is no point in going any further and so he asks something else. "Kids I need to ask, have there been any bad moments with you two and Michelle Lewis?"

This confuses them and Luna speaks. "No not really. I mean she is a good person and tries to make things alright and fine and we have each other's back. She helped me with my period and back then Lori would help me while Rita would hide away thinking I'd become destructive."

Lincoln then speaks. "Same with Amanda Bright. She's awesome to be around and we're happy to also call her mom. I guess I have a lot in common with her with comic books and other cool and awesome stuff."

Leonard didn't like hearing this and then he asks. "Well, what about the good times with Rita and Lynnie? Perhaps you may have missed some of them back when you were both Louds?"

At this point, what Leonard is asking is now starting to get annoying. Luna then speaks. "I don't think we wanna deal with something like that right now. We just wanna enjoy our fun time here at Camp, before Spring Break is over."

Lincoln and Luna get up and walk away from the old man. This upsets Leonard and he sighs. 'Well, that didn't work. I gotta figure out something else.'

(Meanwhile.)

Michelle Lewis and Amanda Bright are here and going through some stuff that they received on their phones. Which involves the word that went out of the biggest treasure search in all of Michigan and that Amanda's story is accepted and now everyone knows that the Lewis', Loud's and Rosato's have made an extraordinary discovery and went through one heck of a ride!

But then Leonard Loud knocks on the wall and they see him from the window. Michelle then greets him. "Hey Leonard. What's up?"

Leonard then speaks. "Michelle Lewis. I wanna know more about the parenting skills and techniques that you have used with Lincoln and Luna. I wanna know if they are any good."

Michelle is confused and then she asks. "Are you questioning how I have been parenting with Linc and Lunes? Are you judging me that I am not doing a good job at parenting?" Amanda didn't like hearing this and she has her recorder ready.

They don't even know that Katherine Mulligan is in the area and she overhears this. Leonard feels nervous and then he speaks. "I swear that I am not. I just want to know how you've been raising them, I mean you apparently are not their biological mother."

Now those words hit hard and this makes Michelle and Amanda legit unhappy. Michelle then speaks to the elderly Loud. "How I raise my kids is none of your business. I have been a great mother to Lincoln and Luna even before I adopted them and while those two were taking parenting lessons behind bars."

Amanda then speaks. "I suggest you leave how she's been doing everything she can and is dang best at raising Lincoln and Luna out of this because she knows what she's doing." They then close the window and cover the curtains.

Leonard on the other hand didn't like this. He then sees his son Lynnard and his wife Rita. They look like they were gonna go on a boat ride because of the life jackets. So he goes towards them. "Hey Lynn! Rita! I wanna talk to you both about something."

Lynnard and Rita stop and are confused. "What is it?"

Leonard then speaks. "I know about Lincoln and Luna being adopted and all that to Michelle Lewis. But I can't help but feel like it's all so wrong and that Lincoln and Luna should still and always should be Loud's . I wanna know if there is anything I can do to try and convince them back into the Loud Family where they truly and always belong."

Lynnard and Rita remain silent and confused. Lynnard then speaks. "Dad, the whole thing is technically our fault. We are the reason why Lincoln and Luna were driven away and to be adopted by someone they truly need and wanted in a parent. We were being stupid always ignoring our son Lincoln and always trying to push Luna into Rock n' Roll."

Rita then continues. "Michelle on the other hand is someone who understands and listens to them and the other kids, which is why our kids still and always trust her. Before we came back to the house, she's helped change the kids from their antics and behavior. She speaks and listens to them. Something we never quite have ever done."

Lynnard then continues again. "We might not have Lincoln and Luna in the Loud Last name, but they still see the rest of the girls as their sisters and family and we're fine with it. Lincoln and Luna are happy with Michelle and that's alright with us. We accepted that and let them go, it's for the best."

Leonard is shocked hearing all of this. "Guys, I understand but… those mistakes were before and things have sorta been better for you two and there is legit no need for them to not be Loud's. You two don't have to accept it and let Lincoln and Luna back into the Loud Family because they are Loud's by blood through and through as it always should be."

Lynn Sr. sighs and he tries to calm down his father. "Dad please take it easy… I know that you are upset about all of this, but you have to accept it too. Accept that Lincoln and Luna are part of the Lewis Family last name with Michelle as their mom, please don't do anything to get yourself into trouble!"

Rita then speaks. "We have been through a lot. But when change comes with unexpected things happening then we need to accept and let things be. We might not like some of the changes but it's how things have to be. Just don't do anything stupid."

Lynnard and Rita then walk away to the lake. Leaving Leonard shocked and not pleased. Lynnard and Rita are not on his side or on the same page as him. 'Dang it Lynnie! Looks like I have to figure something else out myself.'

But Katherine Mulligan is stern hearing this. 'He's just making things worse for himself. He has no idea what he's getting himself into.'

A/N: Oh boy. Oh jeez looks like someone doesn't like how things have been and doesn't even understand the reality of what's been going down with the Loud's. Leonard is just going to make things bad for them at this point. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
