Chapter 612: Trying to get the memories back…

(May 26. Lewis Residence, Olive Street. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

Inside the house, we see Michelle Lewis going through some photo albums and she sees a lot of photos and she is trying her very best to regain the memories which she lost and she's getting frustrated and still tries everything she can. But so far, she can't seem to remember.

'This… This isn't working! Dang it. Why isn't this working?! I should've at least gotten some memories back just by looking at the photos and…' she sees some photos of herself spending time with Lincoln and Luna. "What am I doing wrong?"

Just then, Amanda and Lincoln and Luna walk in and they see Michelle Lewis going through the photo albums and they know that she's trying to regain her memories and it's not doing so well. Amanda sits next to Michelle. "Are you feeling alright?"

Michelle sighs. "No… No I'm not alright. I just… I've been doing the best I can to get back the lost and forgotten memories and nothing seems to be working. I even tried going through my own cell phone and still nothing to help me remember. I don't know what to do."

They can see that she is trying her best so that they can be a family once again and it doesn't seem to be going well for her. Lincoln also goes over and he sits next to Michelle. "Don't worry mom. We're not gonna stop till we help you regain what you lost."

Michelle understands and she has some tears hearing this. "You're such a kind and nice boy and I wish I could remember you, and the things you've done. I just… I don't want this family to fall apart all because of me. My amnesia is taking a toll on everyone… mostly Luna and I wanna make things right."

This surprises them and now Luna sees that Michelle must've heard them the other day. She can see that this is really affecting Michelle. Michelle then speaks. "I just… I wanna remember everything. All that I've done, the good times we've had, friends and loved ones and… this family." She wipes away her tears.

Amanda holds her hand. "We're going to help you. We will do whatever it takes so that Michelle Lewis will be back with us." Amanda hugs Michelle and so does Lincoln and she hugs them back. Luna watches them and she tries to think of something, but what?

Luna then heads back to her bedroom, to check on something that might just help, or at least something she had planned while Michelle Lewis was in a coma.

(Later.)

Michelle is now in the Living Room and she sighs. She spent the whole day with Lincoln and Amanda and they have been doing everything they can to help Michelle get her memories back and yet nothing is working and she still doesn't remember anything.

Lincoln and Amanda show up with some more photo albums and some snacks and they sit on the couch with Michelle and they see that this is really hurting her inside. Just then Luna comes down the stairs and she brings with her an acoustic guitar.

They are surprised to see this and so Luna stands in front of the TV and she speaks. "While you were in a coma… I came up with this song, and I promised myself that I would perform it for you when you came back and I think… I should fulfill that promise."

Luna then strums on the guitar and she starts to sing.

Luna finishes her song and she sheds some tears. Amanda and Lincoln go to her and hug her and she hugs them back. Michelle remains on the couch and something is happening in her mind.

Michelle starts to feel a spark in her heart and mind and a flood of memories comes pouring into her. The day she met Luna Loud, helping her and Lincoln and the others, the troubles they have been through, her job as a lawyer, the many changes she's helped make, meeting and falling in love for Amanda Bright… but mostly, the day she adopted the kids and they because Lincoln and Luna Lewis.

Michelle stands up and this is noticed by Lincoln and Amanda and they back away. Luna looks to Michelle confused but then Michelle hugs her and she sobs. "Luna… oh sweetie. I'm so sorry I forgot. I'm sorry that you had to go through all of this. That song… it worked!"

This surprises them. Luna is at a loss for words and has tears. "M-Mom?"

Michelle departs from the hug and she helps wipe away Luna's tears and she nods. "That's right Lunes. Mom is back, and all because of you, sweetie." Luna starts to cry and she hugs Michelle and then Lincoln has tears and he hugs her and then Amanda does the same. Even their Pokémon go over and hug them..

Michelle hugs them all and also cries. "I'm back you guys. Everything is alright now, we're a family again."
